Meanwhile, in the present, Bulma was devastated as she realizes that Future Trunks won't be able to save his timeline. When Chichi found out that Gohan went back in time and couldn't come back, she broke down into tears. Anyway, Krillin arrived at the showdown between Piccolo and Cell.
Back to the past and after a long journey, Bulma decided to settle in and go to sleep. So she threw his capsule and a house popped out of it. Not long after they were inside, Bulma realized that Goku needed to take a bath, and he had never done one before. However, Trunks was the one to help him since he and Goku are both the same gender. Once that was finished, Gohan, Trunks, and Bulma ended up taking turns. Of course, Goku still invaded Bulma's privacy, which Trunks has to explain to him why it's socially unacceptable. Although, Goku was still confused about that. Anyway, once dinner started, Goku decided to hunt for some food as Gohan joined in since he experienced survival training and asked Trunks if he could borrow his sword. The two returned and brought two dead wolves and a centipede. Trunks happily joined in their feast, but Bulma was too grossed out. After the meal, the four went to sleep.
In the present, the story would go normally, just without Trunks and Gohan. As Goku offered Vegeta to train with him in the hyperbolic time chamber, but he refuses to. As Vegeta decides to go inside first. So back to the past, Goku has woken up in the morning and learned more things about girls. This caused Goku to freak out and made the other three to wake up. Gohan has noticed the underwear on the floor. Bulma instantly knew these were hers and screamed at Goku. Anyhow, Goku went outside for morning exercises when noticed a turtle being stranded. The turtle, Umigame told the four that he was trying to find the ocean. Bulma informs him that he's going the wrong way. So they decided to help as Trunks gave him seawater. The two half-Saiyans wondered if they should fly but realized that walking and letting Goku carry the turtle to pick up his strength would be a better idea.
Once they arrived, Umigame asked them to wait for a bit. After a while, the turtle arrives with an elderly man on his shell. Like the original, Goku was rewarded with a flying nimbus cloud. Along with Bulma wanting the Dragon Ball as Roshi told her she could have it as long as she shows her panties. Trunks was horrified by this and called Roshi a filthy pedophile. Bulma calms him down and tells him to let them get it over with it. So, he and Gohan flew up in the air just so they wouldn't see the disturbing moment. Both Bulma and Roshi were shocked by their abilities, and Goku noticed it too. As the three came back to the ground, the monkey-tailed boy was curious about that flying technique. Trunks sighed and told him that he needed to do more intense training. Goku's eyes widen up and asked him about it. The purple-haired warrior went pale, but Roshi interrupted that he was a martial arts teacher himself. This made Goku wonder if the old man could train him but was asked if he had any martial arts experience. The young boy tells him that he was trained and raised by his grandfather, Gohan. Roshi was indeed shocked to find out that this boy was the grandchild of his former student. Anyhow, the two made a deal and the team continued with their quest.
