Chapter 34: Michael Coleman

He was a regular man before the stupid cancer took over his life and snatched his peaceful retirement away from him.

He hated being looked at with sympathy. He hated people endlessly helping him and people coming to his house to treat him. He hated it. It was infuriating. He was tired of it.

His world fell apart when he learned the cancer was fatal. His wife had been inconsolable and his kids didn't know how to react. The grandkids were not told, too young.

Then the goddamn apocalypse happened.

He didn't know how or why, but his nurses disappeared one after the other. Then his wife came home sick and attacked his adult children when they visited. He wound up killing her with a baseball bat.

Then his grandkids got attacked by their parents and all hell broke loose. He was devastated. It was only him who was supposed to die.

He joined Woodbury hoping for a peaceful place to die in peace and quiet and he got it.

He passed away in a quiet place before briefly reanimating and being put down.
