Chapter 34: Woodbury
Her dad taught her everything. How to live, how to fish, how to hunt. It was the worst when she had to put him down when he came charging at her. She hadn't known how to live with herself. She drowned in the guilt.
She knows nothing as her head is struck and she dies instantly. Haley died an ingenue.
Gargulio and Crowley were college students age fellow friends. They knew something was wrong when they couldn't reach their friends and the building was empty and the campus was abandoned.
Then they found the walkers, or the walkers found them. The biters were once their friends. They had to put them down and ran away with their girlfriends. Unfortunately, they lost both of them to walkers. Devastated, they thought they were done for until they found Woodbury. Their lives ended as quickly as they began.
Rowan liked sleeping with him, he was so nice and handsome. It didn't even occur to her that something was off about him until he had a gun pointed at everyone. It went black in a hailstorm of bullets.
Ben and Allen didn't want to lose it all here. Not now. Mother was gone. They were all they had left. The father pulled out a gun and trained it on Philip, determined to avenge his son. Philip gunned him down mercilessly.
Richard was determined to protect his family. Too bad it didn't save him from the sickness.
"I've had enough." Paul said to the Governor. He'd lost his whole damned family already. "I ain't gonna do this no more."
People around him looked uncertain but followed the black man's lead. He never knew what hit him when the bullet struck him in the back. Just screams and silence.
The adults in the midst of this thought only of their children left behind. Oh god, how will we tell them? Who will tell them?
