Set sometime after s1, Nick doesn't get possessed (yet) and set in Harry Potter and The Order of The Phoenix
It had been a few months since Julie and the Phantoms had played at the Orpheum and gotten rid of Caleb's mark. So much had changed, for starters, she could now touch the boys and realised how touch-starved they were, which meant lots of puppy piles, the second thing was that the boys seemed to be half-ghosts, meaning that they could still walk through walls, summon their instruments and could teleport, but they were now able to be seen without performing with Julie (although they could still make themselves invisible) but could also eat and sleep, but they also discovered some new powers, Luke had discovered he had telekinesis, Reggie discovered he could see into the past just by touching an object and Alex seemed to be able to anything appear out of his fanny pack, they were still in debate if Alex was magic or his fanny pack was but still these powers worried Julie as according to Willie, normal ghosts didn't have this kind of power so it made her wonder...had she given them these powers? or was it a result of spending 25 years in a dark void?
it was then that Julie decided to come clean to her family about the truth behind her band and while her dad hadn't been too pleased that a bunch of teenage boys had snuck into his teenage daughter's room several times, he had welcomed them into the family, Carlos had been pleased to know that ghosts did exist and that he had 3 older brothers, they had converted the guest room into a proper bedroom and both Reggie and Luke were more than happy to bunk together leaving Alex to bunk in the studio, which suited him just fine. It took Tia Victoria a while to warm up the boys, but once she found them harmless, she welcomed them into the family, much to their relief. Julie knew only a few facts about the boys and their families before they died, from what she knew Luke had the most stable home life except his parents didn't support his music dream, Reggie's parents had fought a lot and were close to a divorce, which probably explained why Reggie loved her dad so much and Alex...she had a rough idea of what his parents were like due to his reluctance to find his family. Since he had most likely been kicked out when he came out to them it was obvious he was still hurting and afraid, which made Julie so mad at anyone who hurt Alex, who was one the kindest and sweetest boys she had ever met and still had the courage to smile and be kind to everyone, even Carrie.
Speaking of Carrie, since the Orpheum she had apologised to Julie for the way she had been acting, explaining that she had taken her anger about the divorce between her parents on Julie and since Flynn had been friends with Julie first, Flynn had naturally taken Julie's side leaving Carrie all alone. It wasn't until Julie lost her mom that Carrie realised that she had made a big mistake, but her pride stopped her from apologising to her former best friends. While Julie had accepted her apology, she hadn't forgiven her and Carrie promised she would work her up to forgiveness, Alex was currently acting as a buffer between the two bands since Carrie often invited him to Crazy Candy's practices and also he was the reason she apologised to Julie in the first place. You see, Alex had been randomly going to Carrie's dance sessions to watch them dance but one day, after the rest of her band left, Carrie spotted him and caused him of spying, after Alex had explained his story Carrie continued to invite him to practise and even join in a few times and soon a friendship had blossomed between the two blondes and Alex had asked Carrie for her side of the story as to why she, Julie and Flynn were no longer friends and had convinced her to apologise to Julie.
After a few months of saving the boys, Julie discovered hidden talents that the boys hadn't shared with her, such as Reggie being a math Wizz and often helping her with her Calculus homework, in fact all three boys decided to help her, Carlos and Flynn with homework. Reggie helped them with Math, Alex helped them with History and much to everyone's surprise, Luke helped them with English, Luke explained that his aunt hosted book clubs for college students and often dragged them to the meetings, which also explained how they got gigs at book clubs. The boys (mostly Reggie) decided to help around the house, Reggie helped Ray do his taxes and clean the house, and Alex was an awesome cook, which helped take some stress off Ray when he had to decide what to eat for dinner, what was more amazing was what Alex could cook with only a few simple ingredients, which made dinner time for fun, and while Luke wasn't a big fan of chores, eventually he decided that he would help by washing and drying the dishes since he was able to sing while doing them.
The boys now attended school with Julie and Flynn as Ray insisted they at least complete High School as he had already gone into the trouble of getting them birth certificates and social security numbers, the boys had agreed and they had explained to the school that due to the 'technical issues' they experienced while playing at the Orpheum, the boys decided to live with the Molina's, but the boys were still on guard, Caleb was still out there somewhere and most likely looking for revenge...
But for now, the biggest problem was Alex trying to hold onto the last of his sanity, here's why: Carlos decided it was a good idea to show Reggie Star Wars. long story short. it was not. It was a TERRIBLE IDEA and now Reggie was currently head first inside the ground, where he had tried to poof into the ground to hide from the atrocity of 'the prequels and sequels', now it sounded like a good idea, except that they discovered that being trapped in a dark room for 25 years gave them a bad case of claustrophobic, meaning that Reggie currently stuck in a state of panic that he couldn't escape (thankfully they didn't need to breathe as much as normal people), then Luke had the brilliant idea of poofing to where Reggie was to get him out, but he miscalculated exactly where he had to poof, leading to their current problem...
"hold still Luke! I don't want to hit you with the shovel!" Julie hissed, not wanting to attract the attention of their neighbours, Ray had set up some blank sheets to make it look like he was doing a photoshoot, but Alex knew it was only a matter of time before a neighbour came over to see what was happening, neighbours were nosy like that.
"I'm trying! But Reggie's clutching my legs and something's tickling my feet!" Luke cried and Julie sighed heavily, next to her Carlos sniggered as he filmed the situation on his iPad thing.
"Alex! Don't just stand there, help!" Julie cried, reaching the end of her limit
"no thanks, I'd like to keep my brain cells thank you very much" Alex said, leaning against the letterbox
"alleppphhh mephly bphhh" came Reggie's mumbled voice, swinging his legs widely and Julie had to step back to avoid being kicked
"What Reggie said" Luke whined "Please! I don't want to be stuck here, I really need to pee"
"you should have thought of that before you decided to poof to Reggie while Julie got the shovel" Luke was about to respond but yelped as Julie hit him with the shovel
"Ow! Julie!"
"Sorry Luke, but Lex is right, I was only gone for 2 minutes. You couldn't wait 2 minutes?!"
"ow! Julie stop! I'm sorry" Luke cried as Julie continued to hit him with the shovel
"that is quite enough Miss Molina" a new voice behind Alex causes them to turn, behind Alex is a stern tall woman wearing bottle green robes and had enough wrinkles to be the boy's grandma, maybe older.
"uh...this isn't what it looks like" Julie stumbled
"Yeah, we're making a movie" Carlos pipped in
"A horror/comedy movie" Alex adds, but the woman merely raised her eyebrow
"Excuse me, but who are you?" Ray asks, hands on his hips as he came into view
"My name is Professor McGonagall., and I'm here to talk about your daughter, She's in danger "
and so ends the first chapter, I have a few ideas but they will come later and you may be wondering, why book 5? I chose book 5 because I felt like it's when they could benefit from the guys the most, which means Sirus lives!
