"Uncle Qrow, please stay back!" Ruby shouted.

"Sorry, Ruby, I'm afraid I have to step in now!" was his response.

"Yes, please do! As I live and breathe, you are Qrow Branwen! At last, a true Huntsman has entered the fray! Perhaps I will finally face an actual challenge?!" Tyrian said while bowing.

With Tyrian apparently being distracted with performing his theatrics, Qrow took this chance, and, in an instant, jumped to Tyrian and began to attack him with his weapon. As the two opponents clashed, Nora saw Ren getting ready to join the fight. As soon as he moved, she followed. In the corner of his eye, Qrow saw the two running towards Tyrian and him, but before he could say "stay back", their leader spoke out.

"Ren, Nora, wait!" Jaune yelled out. "Ruby, this is perfect! I think I know a way Qrow can get out of this fight uninjured!"

"Huh? How?" was Ruby's response.

"During their fight, Qrow only got injured because he was protecting you, so, this time, let's just actually listen to what he said and not try to interfere! Oh, and uh, sorry if that sounded harsh."

"I get what you're saying, but, since we already have altered some things, maybe Qrow will get will get injured during the actual fight? You have a reasonable plan, but, it has some risks, and we're just leaving it up to luck, and I don't want to risk it! I don't want to see my Uncle get injured again!" Ruby said as tears began to develop in her eyes.

Nora was getting a sense of Déjà vu. She didn't know why, but, when Jaune had informed the group that their attacker was a Scorpion Faunus and that his name was Tyrian, she felt like she already knew that. And now that Jaune and Ruby were talking about Qrow getting injured, this sense of Déjà vucame to her even more. This was also weird! It was like that time she drank too much coffee! She really wished that Ren could use her semblance on her right now, but it looked like he was too preoccupied with trying to understand what Jaune and Ruby were talki-

"I got it!" Nora yelled out triumphantly "I know how we can beat him!"

"Huh? How!" Yelled out Ruby.

"Wait up! I'm going to whisper it to Ren! We don't want Tyrian to know, right?"

As Qrow continued to hold his ground against Tyrian, he noticed that his opponent's skin had suddenly turned grey. His movements suddenly became sluggish, and he was no longer laughing.

"Uncle Qrow, quick! Cut off his tail!" Ruby said to her Uncle.

"I'll do you one better!" said Qrow, and in an instant, blood was everywhere, and Tyrian's head was on the floor. Judging by the sounds he heard, Ruby (and her friend that she called Vomit Boy) were currently vomiting on the floor. He really didn't want to do that in front of her, but his gut was telling him that Salem had sent this fellow, and he just couldn't let that slide!

"Hey, what was that all about?" Qrow asked.

"Well, I was feeling really emotional right now trying to understand what Ruby and Jaune were talking about, so I was gonna ask Ren here to calm me down with his semblance, but then I got the idea to tell Ren to use his semblance on that guy since he was really emotional when he was fighting, so Ren's semblance would probably get his all calm, but at the cost of his energy! That would make him really easy to defeat!" Nora explained quickly.

Qrow had to admit, that was smart. And here he thought that Pyrrha was the Team's only good combatant!

Suddenly, a loud distorted sound was heard, and Ruby and Jaune stopped vomiting and got up to their feet.

"Hey, what's going on here?" Ruby said before vomiting again after seeing the decapitated Faunus.

Weird. That was the only word that Nora could think of that described the situation.

Note: The way that Ren's semblance works in this chapter is based off the semi-popular fan theory that the reason that Nora temporarily turned grey during the first episode of Volume 3 after becoming afraid at the thought of her team becoming losers is because Ren used his semblance to calm her down.
