Hey yo, author here! Apologies for the delay with this chapter! I just started a new job and his been pretty demanding ngl, but I'm loving it so no stress, but did just have to take a step from this for a minute. I think if this was any other chapter before this as well, it would have been out sooner, but now that I have everything mapped out, I'm finding the chapters harder to right cause I want to make sure I cover everything. But anyway! Not too much else to say! Hopefully shouldn't be as long a wait at all for the next one. Also, broke 75 favorites between this and the last update, so thank you so much! Not a milestone I thought I'd hit when I started this (honestly thought I would just be rambling lol), but yea, on for 100 now ahaha. Thanks so much to everyone who's stuck around this long or just found this story. Means the world :)

As always, much love - Seadavid41

Ch. 33 Collide

From an evolutionary perspective, it makes senses that familiarity leads to comfort. Something you are familiar with, the known quantity, is less likely to hurt or disrupt you than the risk posed by the unfamiliar. The gentle hum of the machines around him…the noise of the ratchet wrench in his hand as he attached his B.A.D.A.S.S armor to the back of the T-car…they were familiar, so Cyborg chose to focus on those…for the moment. He knew though…in the back of his mind, he kept hearing the little reminder that his communicator had a message from Nightwing waiting on it. He'd already spoken to him that morning about the plan and how he was the only other Titan leading a team…a team designed for the frontal assault. He knew the message from the Titan leader contained who he'd be in charge of…who's lives he was going to be responsible for. Despite the defeat of Brother Blood the last time, his first attempt at leadership before had been…a mixed bag at best. Maybe it was stupid….hell, he knew it was stupid…but so long as he didn't open that message…it didn't feel as real as the wrench he held in his hand. So he focused on that…there was still plenty of time to address that other issue…he was sure of it.

Whether it was due to how focused he was on the task in front of him or his own internal turmoil, Cyborg once again failed to notice that he'd been joined by another in the garage, except this wasn't Beast Boy sneaking in…the sliding door had been used, but to be fair, her feet didn't touch the ground until she was already behind him.

"Hey Sparky."

Neither of Cyborg or Bumblebee knew that the metal titan had the reflexes in him to jump out of his stool with the speed he did. Bumblebee only had a second to flutter backwards a few inches, otherwise Cyborg's shoulder would have firmly planted itself on the underside of her jaw. Instead, she got to enjoy the view of Cyborg jumping upwards and plummeting to the floor on his metallic ass just as quickly.

"Woah, who charged you up to 110%? All I did was say hi."

Cyborg looked up at her from the ground, a still very clear distracted look on his face. "Sorry Bee…mind was elsewhere, that's all."

Bumblebee frowned at Cyborg's expression as he slowly got to his feet. He was about to turn his attention back to attaching the trailer to the T-car when Bumblebee calmly fluttered between him and his stool, which he was reaching out for, putting a hand on his shoulder as she did so.

"So why don't you tell me where your mind was? I was just talking to Nightwing. We aren't heading out for a while yet."

Cyborg sighed, continuing to reach for the stool. "It's nothing Bee, just stressed about the day to co-"

Cyborg didn't see the hand slide under his chin, but he most certainly felt it when his jaw was grabbed in a firm, but not rough, manner by a petite set of fingers and his head was promptly twisted to the left, where Bee was waiting to look at him, an eyebrow raised.

"No, because you've shown no signs of that before. If anything, you were excited to use your new toy. Which means somethings changed…so out with it Vic…I want to listen."

Cyborg tried to hold his own for only a moment, before with a wry smile and a look of defeat, he let out a small laugh. "Couldn't leave me to my own thoughts for five minutes…"

"Nope, so spill."

Cyborg mumbled to himself as he righted the stool, but instead of sitting back down, took a step backward and leaned against the T-car. "Nightwing's already let everyone know that I'll be leading the main assault and well…the last time I took over a team…well, you know it didn't go well."

Bumblebee frowned. "I mean…you got us to stop fighting for the first time and only got undone by a ploy that none of us could have seen coming and then you saved all of us from Brother Blood…it worked out pretty well in the end if you ask me."

Cyborg gave Bumblebee a wry smile. "I mean, yea, I saved the day, and looked pretty awesome doing it if you asked me…doesn't mean that my initial attempt to lead went well."

"And what…nothing's changed since then?"

"Whatcha' mean?"

Bumblebee gently flew over and took a seat beside Cyborg on the hood of the T-car. "Victor…since then, you've repelled Trigon from Earth, travelled solo across the world in the fight against the Brotherhood, become the first Titan to defeat Phobia and I don't know if you've noticed, but become the glue that holds your little group together. Nightwing is too thorough to put someone he doesn't have full confidence in in a spot like this. I can't believe I'm saying this, but your underestimating yourself."

Cyborg turned towards Bumblebee, a somewhat more relaxed expression on his face, although it was still quite obvious that there was still something on his mind.

"Even if everything you said is true, I can't help but question if I'm the right guy for this."

"That's a good thing."

Cyborg raised an eyebrow at her in a silent question. Bumblebee put a hand on the metal Titan's shoulder. "The last time, with Titan's east, I think it's fair to say that while you definitely cared about your team, it was the chance to be a leader that was what made you stay."

Cyborg nodded. "Yea, that seems fair…"

"But this time, you're concern is for your teammates. You've gone from caring about the position you hold to caring about the Titans you're going to lead. That's the sign of someone who understands what it means to be a leader and the weight that comes with it. Just don't let that weight drag you down. It's proof that you're the right man for the job…and anyway, just because you're leading a group doesn't mean you're alone. Every Titan on your team is gonna back you up no matter what."

Cyborg shook his head before smiling at Bumblebee. "I know you're right and I know that everyone has my back…I was just getting inside my own head."

Bumblebee returned his smile and gently traced her fingers across his cheek. "Well get out of it Vic…if you overthink, you're gonna fry your circuits."

With that, Bumblebee jumped off the hood of the T-car, her wings catching her before her feet could hit the ground. "Now come on. We're heading out in five and Nightwing wants you to let him know that the transport for your little armour set is ready."

Cyborg jolted up from the T-car in an instant. "We're leaving in five!? You said we had loads of time yet!?"

Bumblebee shrugged. "Yea, because you were stressed. Now you're not, so it's all good."

Cyborg's jaw dropped before he shook his head with a defeated look. "You're gonna be the death of me you know that?"

Bumblebee flitted towards Cyborg, tilting his head upwards. "Oh honey…you better get used to that."

Cyborg didn't even have a moment to register her secondary movement as she leaned forward and placed a quick kiss on his lips. It was nothing more than a peck and yet he was caught completely off-guard, his eyes widening as Bumblebee pulled away, the corners of her mouth curling upwards into a bemused smile at Cyborg's look of astonishment. She turned away, holding back the urge to laugh as she flew towards the door.

"Never mind what I said about your circuits being fried…they clearly just blew out there."

It hadn't been since the fight with Malchior that the Teen Titans had all taken off from the tower together and at the time, none of them had any idea just how much would change before they left as a team again. But even still, despite the fact that they were joined in the air and on the ground by a legion of honorary Titans and the dire nature of the task at hand…Beast Boy felt oddly calm as he flew through the sky. In the form of an albatross, he was gliding through the air on the outside of Starfire and Raven, with the empath in the middle of the Tamaranean and him. A quick glance downwards with his enhanced eyesight and Beast Boy was able to pick out the outline of the T-car driving through downtown Jump City, within which Cyborg, Nightwing and a selection of other non-flying Titans were seated. He'd flown from the tower with the other Titans like this so many times he had lost count and to once again be back in this pattern…it felt oddly comforting.

He wanted to enjoy the simplicity of the moment for as long as he could.

He could already see it in the distance…Jump City's old library stood out like a sore thumb beside the skyscrapers that took up most of the city's skyline, even though it stood a little ways away from any of them. It was like somebody had dropped a building from the eighteenth century beside a modern day city. It was a relic from another time and had clearly been preserved by forces whose desires ran far deeper and were far darker than simply maintaining the cities heritage. A tribute to Trigon…a sacrificial altar hidden in plain sight…a blood-red stain on the city he knew and loved.

He couldn't wait to bring it crashing down.

"Beast Boy?"

The green albatross's head whipped to the right where he found both Raven and Starfire staring back at him. he tilted his head in a silent question at Starfire, who's voice he recognised as the one who called his name. The Tamaranean motioned with her hand downwards.

"We are approaching the meeting point for where we will all set off from. Nightwing sent the coordinates to our communicators, so you will have just have to follow Raven and I as we descend."

Beast Boy gave a squawk of approval before the three of them, as well as the flying honorary Titans that were in the air around them began to descend towards the ground. Beast Boy's mind began to drift back towards his back-up plan for Raven as he lost altitude. Cyborg was right. It was absolutely batshit crazy, with absolutely no guarantee that it would even achieve anything. Also, depending on how things played out, if the Herald wasn't able to help him like he'd asked him to in Main Ops before the brief, he might not even get the chance to enact what he'd concocted. So much of this was gonna come down to luck an-

"Gar?"

Beast Boy was more than used too Raven's voice echoing in his mind at this stage, but it was the first time in a while that he hadn't detected when she had made her initial foray into his head. She knew he couldn't read his thoughts exactly, otherwise he'd most likely have just given the game away. But still, he didn't want to give Raven any indication that he had something planned. He tapped into his connection with the empath gently.

"Yea Rae?"

"We called your name a few times…you okay?"

"I'm all good, just…locking in…for the mission ahead."

"…you sure that's all?"

Beast Boy glanced at Raven who was giving him a borderline analytical stare, like she knew that if she stared hard enough at him for long enough, he'd unravel and spill all his inner thoughts to her. Beast Boy held his ground.

"For sure…mind's only on one thing and that's taking Deathstroke down…for good."

Raven's brow furrowed. She knew it wasn't the whole story but annoyingly, she knew Beast Boy wasn't going to give her anything else either.

"Alright then…just wanted to be sure."

"Don't worry Rae…I got it all planned out."

With that last thought, the mental talk between the two of them fell silent as they, along with Starfire and the rest of the honorary Titans descended to the ground. Starfire was the first to touch the concrete street of Jump City's old town, a few blocks away from the library. Nightwing had been in constant contact with the Jump City Police force and the authorities had managed to lock down the old town so that no civilians could wander in. The few people that still called this part of the city home had been evacuated in the prior two days. For all intents and purposes, the old city was a ghost town…for now. But everyone knew what and who lay just out of sight. Some brief scouting mission that had been carried out the night before by Kid Flash and Argent had let the Titans know that along with cult members, Deathstroke's blessed individuals were prowling the city streets…patrolling…watching…waiting…

It wasn't long before the T-car pulled up and other honorary titans started arriving via other means such as portals. Nightwing stepped out of the T-car and made his way to the front of the gathered group. He swallowed before addressing everyone who was stood before him, waiting for his final words before they all went to play their part.

"Everyone knows their roles. Raven, Starfire, Beast Boy, Ravager and I will be approaching from the West while the Herald, Argent, Bumblebee, Aqualad, Kid Flash and Jinx will be going in from the East. All other Titans are under Cyborg's leadership in the frontal assault. We all know the mission today…trust in each other…give everything you have…and every Titan comes home….Titans go!"

Everyone began to immediately split up to find their separate teams or to say goodbye to close friends. Cyborg couldn't help but wander over to Nightwing's group, a determined look on his face.

"You guys know I'm gonna join ya'll inside when I can, but do me a favour…try not to die before then, cause I don't care who it is, you're gonna get an earful from me that you'll be able to hear in the afterlife."

Nightwing couldn't help but chuckle as he walked over and wrapped the metal Titan in a hug. "Duly noted…same goes to you though…you're newer models are way too expensive for the Titans budget."

"Oh very funny."

The two separated and Cyborg didn't even have a second to react before Starfire had barreled into him, wrapping him in a hug that was so tight that Cyborg could have sworn he heard the metal that made up his mid-section start to give.

"Please friend, I know you lead the frontal assault…but stay safe, I beg of you."

Cyborg smiled through his grimace. "I'll do my best Star but trust me, it's Deathstroke's cronies you should be worried about, not me."

Starfire smiled warmly at Cyborg as they parted and then shuffled backwards, allowing Cyborg to turn towards Raven and Beast Boy. Cyborg looked pointedly at Raven first, raising an eyebrow. Raven raised an eyebrow right back at him. Cyborg held his arms out, his eyes goading her…begging her…

"Oh for the love of Azar."

Raven stepped forward and wrapped her arms around the metal Titan, who immediately wrapped his much larger arms around the empath. After a few seconds, he dipped his head towards Raven's ear.

"Take care of yourself…and do me a favour if I'm not around…if you're on the verge of doing something...final…or are in the middle of doing it…take a second to think about who you are…not what you've always been told you have to be…you never know…you might have an epiphany."

"…I will…I promise."

The two parted and Raven stepped back without another word, her hood obscuring her expression and any chance of interpreting how she had reacted to Cyborg's parting words. Cyborg's eyes lingered on the empath for just a moment, worry evident in his eyes before he shook his head and turned to the changeling.

"Jesus…and you."

"Right back at ya buddy."

Cyborg held his stare for a second before his composure broke at the same time Beast Boy's did and the two best friends slammed into each other. Cyborg didn't lean down to Beast Boy's ear. His message to the changeling was a simple one and the other's would have no clue about what he was actually referring to. Beast Boy most certainly would though.

"Gar…don't die and please…try not to do anything…too stupid."

Beast Boy laughed from within the hug. "No promises dude…none whatsoever."

"That's what worries me."

The two separated and Cyborg took in his little group…the family he had grown up with for the last few years. "I'll join ya'll as soon as I can, but until then…time for me and my squad to kick some ass. See you on the inside!"

With that, Cyborg turned away and began walking towards the team he was set to lead, who had already gathered only a few feet away. Following his departure Ravager approached the remaining four Titans, stepping towards Nightwing.

"So what's our plan of attack?"

Nightwing motioned to a selection of side roads across from where the group stood. "We take these roads on foot, staying low and out of sight while the Herald's group approach from the equivalent roads west of here. We wait for Cyborg to bring out his surprise and both groups move when Deathstroke's troops start piling out. Each group should be able to flank the main road so that they can get close enough to the library to either sneak in or portal inside. If one group gets caught, they simply join the main battle fray out here. Titans on the field are only tasked with coming into the library if back-up is called for or they've somehow dealt with whatever is out here. The goal is to get as close to Deathstroke as possible before he evens knows we're inside."

Ravager cracked her knuckles. "Sounds simple enough."

Beast Boy gave a sharp laugh. "Yea, sounds simple when you say it like that."

Nightwing grimaced. "Deathstroke knows we're coming so we have to try and create our own element of surprise. We're going into his territory…we're going to need every advantage we can get once we're in there."

Beast Boy gave his arms a few swings. "Right, so sneak in, beat the bad guys, save Melvin, save the world…all in a day's work, amirite?"

Ravager rolled her eyes. "God, you're relentless…"

Beast Boy shrugged. "Yep but be thankful that for you, that just means I never shut up…for Deathstroke…and Adonis…they're about to find out how goddamn relentless I am."

Ravager's face morphed from one of annoyance to mild approval. "Now that I can get behind."

Nightwing looked at the group in front him, taking one last second to compose himself before he glanced over at the Herald, who sent a subtle nod back. Both flanking teams were ready. Cyborg's group had already departed.

"Alright everyone, time to move out…let's show Deathstroke what happens when you mess with the Titans…one final time."

Cyborg would never tell the other Titans this, but he actually had somewhat of a soft spot for the old part of Jump City. It wasn't too far from where he had called home before he had found the other Titans. It had always been a place for the slightly more eclectic of Jump City and after his accident, it had been one of the few places where he could go and walk on the city streets with his hood down. No one who had seen him here had ever judged him…questioned him…the place had made him feel oddly normal. That's why it felt so surreal to the metal Titan to be leading a squad of honorary Titans down those same roads.

However, while he liked the old part of the city…he hated the library.

That cursed building, where he'd watched Raven be manipulated by Slade…where he'd seen her give in to her destiny and become the portal before the Titans very eyes. He'd never be able to get that image out of his head, almost like Deathstroke had used his powers to permanently burn the image into his psyche forever. He could honestly say, without a shadow of a doubt, that he couldn't wait to bring the whole building crashing down.

Cyborg called his group to a halt with a silent hand gesture, with Red Star coming to stand beside him.

"What is it my friend?"

Cyborg used his cybernetic eye and zoomed in, having detected the first signs of movement up ahead on the main road, the library in the distance not far beyond it. Cyborg's screwed up face of concentration turned into one of disdain. A short distance away, about halfway between where Cyborg currently stood and the library, the gargantuan figure of Mammoth was lumbering about. His normal outfit looked like it had been burned in multiple places, which was no surprise to the metal titan. He had seen firsthand how the muscle of the old Hive Five had been launching balls of fire like they were marbles. That wasn't what caught his attention though.

Mammoth had never exactly been an expressive villain. It was pretty well known amongst the Titans that he was…all brawn, no brain, and that was being polite. But still, he typically sported a scowl, a face twisted up in disdain or confusion, usually dependent on whether what he'd been tasked with was grunt work or confusing for the big guy. But this time, as he trudged across the main road, flanked by a small number of Deathstroke's robots, his face was completely vacant. There was no expression, no personality…no anything. Cyborg couldn't help but feel slightly unnerved as he tore his gaze away. With a shake of his head, he dismissed his worries. Mammoth wasn't exactly the case study he would use for assessing the intelligence or emotional range of the enemy.

"Mammoth and a few bots…looks like they're on guard duty."

Suddenly, a smile spread across Cyborg's face as he turned to face his team, a specific titan on his mind.

"Yo Hotspot."

It only took a moment for the aforementioned titan to step forward. As he approached, he stretched one arm across his chest, like he was limbering up.

"What are ya' thinking boss?"

Cyborg turned back to Mammoth for a second as his idea begin to flesh itself out more and more in his mind.

"Well, once Deathstroke knows we're here, I'm guessing at the minimum, the rest of his little bots are gonna fly out of that library like termites…but our goal ain't to be stealthy…our goal is to be a pain in Deathstroke's ass. Mammoth is the only human villain out there…so how about for once, when I give you the signal…we fight fire with fire."

Hotspot returned Cyborg's grin with one of his own. "Want me to bring the heat?"

Cyborg's smile broadened, almost on the verge of darkly. "I want you to bring the heat. Take some time to get some altitude. We'll move on your signal. Time to let Deathstroke know that we've come to play."

Hotspot nodded before he turned away from Cyborg and after a small run up, he took to the air as his body became engulfed in flames. The gathered Titans were still far enough away that Cyborg wasn't worried about being spotted, especially with the weather. The first few flecks of rain had just begun to fall as Hotspot disappeared into the storm clouds that had settled above Jump City. Cyborg tore his eyes away from where Hotspot disappeared and turned his attention back to the honorary titans in his command.

"Alright, everyone, move forward, carefully and quietly. Kilowatt, you stay with me back here so I can fire up my little surprise. We stay out of sight until Hotspot makes his move. Then, when reinforcements come out of the library…well, we fight for each other. We need to buy as much time for Raven and the others as possible. We're the powerhouses. The tanks. The immoveable objects. Ain't no bastard inside that building is gonna take a single one of us down."

Pantha cracked her knuckles, the anticipation of what was to come written on her face in the form of unadulterated glee. "It has been so long since I was involved in as handicap match. We shall force these false devils into submission!"

"That's what I like to goddamn hear. Now move out! Use the terrain as cover for your approach. Remember, only get as close as you can without being spotted. I'm going to be hanging back here to see the initial response…I have my surprise ready to go. Move on Hotspot."

After a series of nods of affirmation, Cyborg's small group began to disperse, with Pantha, Red Star, Jericho and Thunder and Lightning heading down one side of the main road, whilst Speedy, Wildebeest, Bushido, May y Menos and Kole and Gnaark began to traverse the other side, leaving Cyborg stood with Kilowatt. Cyborg turned to the electrical Titan, before motioning to the trailer behind the T-Car.

"Right, just like we planned. Juice this baby up so it's at max capacity, then I'll be good to go. You hang back with me until Hotspot makes his move."

With a silent nod, the duo walked over to the T-car where Cyborg moved towards the trailer, lifting a massive panel on the side, which he motioned at. "Just grip the two handles in there and let her rip…if my designs are right, it should be able to take the surge and give it enough juice for whatever comes my way."

Kilowatt nodded and reached into the machine opening, gripping both conducting handles tightly before allowing his body to pulse with energy, allowing his power to surge in Cyborg's armor. Cyborg turned back towards where he had last seen Mammoth and couldn't help but let out a breath.

"Damn…his entrance might be cooler than mine."

Emerging from the storm clouds above, accompanied by the deep roar of thunder and sheet lightning, Hotspot had begun to descend towards the street below, a beacon of flaming red amongst a grey sky. Cyborg followed his descent, eventually moving ahead towards where Mammoth was still stood, completely unaware of the assault he was about to face. He only had a moment to bring his eyes back to Hotspot before the flaming titan collided with the former Hive Five member, sending a blast of fire out on impact that incinerated the nearest robots completely and left the ones further away in a malfunctioning mess. Cyborg lost sight of Hotspot amongst the smoke and flames, but he didn't have time to dwell on it as Pantha's voice rang out through what was once a barren, empty street.

"Here comes the calvary!"

Cyborg turned back to Kilowatt, who was just removing his hands from the panel. He looked up at Cyborg and gave him a thumbs up. Cyborg grinned. "Alright, go help the others. I'm gonna start suiting up."

Kilowatt nodded and with only a second to bend his knees, he took to the sky, trails of electricity blazing behind him as he soared towards the carnage that was now unfolding in the centre of the city. Cyborg took one last glance, and now that the smoke and fire was starting to dissipate, he could once again see the library in the distance. He couldn't help hut swallow. Just like he had predicted, Deathstroke's bots had started to pour out, in numbers that even had him concerned. They were like termites emerging to protect their mound, almost falling over each other to join the maelstrom that was set to unfold. However, the robots weren't his biggest concern. Dotted amongst the mechanical opponents, he could pick out a few unwelcome, familiar faces in the forms of Atlas, Billy Numerous and Steam Roller. The titans had known they were going to be outnumbered, but Cyborg couldn't help but think Deathstroke wouldn't deploy all of his forces…meaning if this was what he was sending to the streets, what in God's name did he still have stored inside?

Cyborg shook his head and turned his attention back to his armor. There was no point on dwelling on that now. He needed to get into the fray…he needed to buy his team the time they needed.

"All systems 100%, good...power full…okay, just need to test th-"

Cyborg stopped when he felt it…the pulse in the ground…that foreboding pulse that reverberated through the streets. He knew the type of noise all too well and his eyes drifted to a puddle that had formed from the downpour of rain that had begun, he was able to watch as the next pulse came and the water's surface rippled…something was coming…something huge. Cyborg's eyes turned back towards, the library…but he didn't need to zoom in…not for this.

Cyborg watched as the buildings very foundations seemed to shake as the shockwaves that were being sent out start becoming more and more frequent until eventually they stopped. But the silence was to be short-lived. The entire battlefield seemed to fall still for a moment, alongside the disappearance of the vibrations, as all eyes turned toward the library.

Without warning, the entire front of the building exploded outwards, sending concrete and glass flying into the carnage that had already formed on the main road. Amongst the exploding wreckage, huge plumes of fire propelled debris hundreds of feet into the air and outwards, crushing robots and anything else that got in its way. Cyborg was able to make out Hotspot weaving his way through rocks and flames and could only hop that every other Titan had also managed to avoid the blast. When his eyes turned back to where main entrance to the library once stood, his heart sank.

Stepping through the wreckage of the front of the building, Ternion looked like a creature straight out of the depths of hell. Completely faceless, with the exception of an enormous maw, filled with far sharper teeth than Cyborg remembered, Deathstroke had clearly juiced him up with his blessing. Streams of fire intertwined with bolts of electricity streaked along the creatures back, it's fists concrete, engulfed in flames, every step it took, globs of itself seemed to fall of and seep into the road. It took a few steps out of the rubble before emitting an earth-shattering cry. Cyborg almost felt bad for the creature. It sounded like it was an agony. It wasn't lost on the metal Titan that the man inside Plasmus didn't want the power…hell, he wasn't even a villain, just unlucky…and he couldn't help but wonder how voluntary his involvement was in Deathstroke's plot.

Regardless, it was an enemy unlike Cyborg had ever seen…but this was his job. This is what he had prepped for…and he was going to take that goliath down no matter what. He turned back to his armor in the trailer.

"Eh…field testing is better anyway."

Cyborg slammed his hand down on an enormous red button beside the handles Kilowatt had used to charge the armor up and the trailer whirred into life. Immediately, the massive piece of equipment began to split up into six different pieces of different sizes and Cyborg couldn't help but smile as his creation came to life for the first time.

"Oh Boo goddamn yah."

With lightning speed, two pieces of the container broke off and Cyborg had to jump into the air as they latched onto his legs. He could feel the gears clicking into place as the vibrations rattled up his body and his internal systems notified him that the external devices were online and operational. Once they were engaged, the two pieces began to shift and reform beneath him, changing from being what appeared to be simple blocks of metal to sleek titanium legs, each one at almost ten feet tall. While this was ongoing, two more pieces broke off and Cyborg had to brace himself as they latched onto his arms, before another slammed into his torso. As each piece integrated with his systems, he could only watch as he slowly started to rise upwards due to each piece reshaping to form the armor piece it was designed for.

After only a few seconds, it was a complete and after a quick internal check to ensure everything was operational, Cyborg glanced down at himself…and boy did the armor live up to his own billing. Standing at just under thirty feet tall, Cyborg felt like he could take on the world. He glanced down at his new, enhanced limbs and tentatively tried to raise them, and couldn't help but let out a breath when his enormous arms raised as easily as if he hadn't donned anything at all. Shaking off his delight, he quickly turned back to the trailer and looked at the one piece that hadn't come to him, although had reformed. Cyborg reached out with an enormous hand and grabbed the helmet to complete his masterpiece, slotting it over his head and allowing it to click into place. Once lodged, a brand new HUD display appeared before his eyes. As he turned to the battlefield, everything was analyzed before him. Individual enemies were highlighted, allies were marked, potential hazards were assessed. But he didn't have time to be impressed by his work…he had one singular goal…and that goal was currently dragging it's grotesque flaming body down the main road towards his teammates. Deathstroke may have created a new monster, but Cyborg had built a monster of his own.

Cyborg glanced down at his fists and with merely a thought sent to his systems, he watched stoically as holes on the knuckles appeared and spikes emerged which locked into place. He didn't think it was a crazy assumption to think he could maybe use some excessive force with Ternion. With one final deep breath, Cyborg looked up and began walking forward, the ground shaking under his feet, not to the same extent as Ternion, but definitely enough to draw the big guys attention. Cyborg watched as Ternion's face turned in his direction. It may not have had eyes, but it certainly sensed the threat. Robots tried to move out of the way and failed as Ternion planted it's fists into the ground and let out another earth-shattering roar in Cyborg's direction. He raised his giant metallic fists in front of him, almost as if he was cracking his knuckles.

"You want a fight big boy…I'll give you a goddamn fight."

The honorary titans could deal with the robots and the villains in the street. He had no doubt. But Ternion…this was his fight…and he wasn't going to fail his friends.

Cyborg lunged forward, breaking into a full on sprint, his enormous, armored form thundering through the streets, bashing robots aside with effortless ease as he went. He was vaguely aware of Speedy staring at him from atop an overturned car in awe as he ran by, but his entire focus was on the flaming goliath that had now taken to running straight at him as well. In a matter of seconds, the two closed the distance between other and Cyborg's metal fist colliding with Ternion's flaming, concrete one sent a shockwave across the entire battlefield.

Beast Boy's feline ears perked up once again as he prowled ahead of his group in the form of a leopard, quietly weaving between dumpsters and parked cars. He had taken the initiative to scout ahead of the others, his keen eyesight and smell ensuring that they wouldn't be caught off-guard by any sentries or guards who had strayed off the beaten path. Still, even he couldn't help but peer skywards at the sound of the explosion that had rocked the very ground he was stood on. Neither could anyone else in his group, as all eyes travelled upwards, all promptly widening as pieces of concrete were visible as they soar across the sky. Raven grimaced.

"Seems Ternion has decided to make his appearance."

Nightwing stared at the sky for only a few seconds longer before he motioned for everyone to keep moving forward. "Cyborg knows what he's doing. His job was to give us time to get inside and seems he's caught Deathstroke's attention in one way or another. We keep moving."

Beast Boy turned his attention back to the street ahead of him, his mind still lingering on the noise he'd heard and what Cyborg and the others could possibly be facing. But he knew he couldn't stay distracted. Their entire plan hinged on their absence only being relayed to Deathstroke when it was too late and even though he knew it was inevitably going to get messy, if he wanted things to go his way, he'd take every advantage he could get.

"You've fought daddy dearest a few times at this stage, haven't you?"

Beast Boy was mildly surprised to find that the footsteps that he'd heard approaching him where none other than Ravager. The two of them had barely spoken since he'd been back in the tower and he couldn't help but feel that the black and orange honorary titan wasn't exactly fond of him. Taking one final scan of his surroundings and not detecting any sounds or smells that should have him concerned, he shifted back into his regular form beside Ravager, the two of them now aways out in front of the others where there conversation wouldn't be heard.

"I mean, all of the Titans have…I guess I have the most recent scraps with him if that's what you mean."

"He built a monster specifically designed to kill you."

Beast Boy shrugged. "I got the better of him when he assaulted the tower…seems I rattled him."

Ravager stared into Beast Boy's eyes, her expression grim. "Listen Beast Boy. Deathstroke…Slade…my dad…whatever the hell you want to kill him…if there's one thing I know about him, he doesn't get rattled. You are either a thorn in his side or something he perceives as a big enough threat to take action about. Trust me, he may want Raven for his ritual and his armies, but he absolutely has something planned specifically for you."

"Well I'm not exactly looking to avoid him eith-"

"No, just listen. You don't understand what I'm trying to say. The other Titans, yea, he'll fight them if he has too, but I know the man…he may have some powers that have juiced him up, but from what I've seen, he's still just as flawed as he's always been and if there's one thing that holds him back, it's that he can't let the past go. There's no way he can stand that you bested him or have given him as much trouble as you have. This puts you in a unique position. You're probably the only person who can draw his attention from Raven…I don't think he'll be able to resist."

Beast Boy weighed up Ravager's words silently, gears in his head starting to turn as he processed her thoughts. "Okay…so what do you think I should do?"

"You don't have to set out to do anything…but you need to keep it in mind."

Ravager quickly turned around and glanced backwards, checking to see if the others were within earshot before turning back to Beast Boy.

"It's something you'll have to judge in the moment, but personally, if I were you…I'd leverage it to kill the son of a bitch."

Beast Boy's eyes widened, his jaw dropping for only a moment before he composed himself. "I mean I'm not necessarily against that, but like Nightwing said, we don't even know if he can die."

Ravager rolled her eyes. "Well how about you separate his head from his body and we can test that idea."

Beast Boy grimaced but was still interested in what Ravager was thinking. "Okay…so if you were me, you'd kill him…but how is him holding a grudge against me gonna help with that?"

"Think about it. When you fought him at the tower, you were the one getting inside his head and let's be real, before he pulled that tornado trick out of nowhere, you were beating him from pillar to post. When Phobia came to the tower for her little chat, she even said that the Beast currently lives rent free inside his head. Use it to your advantage. Let his own pride be his downfall."

Beast Boy nodded but still looked unsure. "Okay…it's a good point, but I'm still not sure if kil-"

"Kill Raven then."

Beast Boy looked at her in confusion with a slight hint of anger. "What the hell are yo-"

Ravager held up a hand and for the first time, her expression took on something that was almost…empathetic.

"Look Beast Boy…you're not stupid. None of the Titans are. You know that Raven won't hesitate to put the world before herself if the opportunity arises. Deathstroke wants to kill her. You kill him first, Raven doesn't have to anything…drastic. It isn't whether you think killing him is right or wrong. With the way this has to go down…it's essentially one life or the other…and you're in the lucky spot where you get a major influence on the way the cards fall."

As Ravager spoke, the anger and confusion melted off Beast Boy's face, replaced with a look of realization. Sometimes you can only see the most simple of circumstances when someone says it out loud…and Ravager was right…kill Deathstroke and Raven lives. He wouldn't need to worry about her doing something extreme…he wouldn't have to worry about his plan in case she did.

"…I'll bear that in mind."

"That's all I can ask of you."

Beast Boy looked away for a second, before turning back to Ravager. "Is it weird to be talking about this situation with your own father involved?"

Ravager's face darkened, but not out of anger towards Beast Boy. "That man is no father of mine…"

Beast Boy looked like he had another question on his mind, but before he could say it out loud. A shout from behind grabbed both his and Ravager's attention.

"Guys, drop back here for a second. We got a change of plans."

Without another word between them, Beast Boy and Ravager turned back towards the rest of the group, who had come together to stand around Nightwing, who was busy reading something on his communicator, his expression grim.

"The Herald's team have been compromised. They were detected by Psimon and they've got their own battle on their hands. They'll join us inside when they can but for now, we're going in alone."

Ravager nodded. "Always a possibility…still going main entrance?"

Nightwing shook his head. "Message from Speedy a few minutes ago said the outside of the library had been blown to pieces by Ternion…I'm guessing that's what all that debris we saw was…but, we planned for this if the main entrance was too hot."

With a few taps on his communicator screen, Nightwing brought up a small 3-D schematic of the library and surrounding buildings.

"With such a labyrinth being present below, it made sense that there would be more than one way in. There are plenty of tunnels that we can take advantage of that are used for recycling air and heat control that we can access by the man-holes not too far from here."

Starfire grimaced. "Sorry Nightwing…am I correct in saying that we will be looking to gain entry via the sewer system of Jump City?"

Nightwing shrugged his shoulders as he put his communicator away. "…Only for like five minutes."

Suddenly, the ground shook again and each Titans eyes were drawn upwards in response to an enormous burst of light, as flames rose up into the thunderous night sky, intertwined with the recognizable blue energy of Cyborg's cannon, it's origin only a few blocks west of where they currently stood. Nightwing gave a half-smile.

"Looks Like Cyborg's armor has worked a treat, but we don't know how much time that gives us. We keep moving forward."

The Titans around him gave quick nods of affirmation before beginning to move again. This time, Nightwing took the lead, with Starfire choosing to stay close to him. Meanwhile, Ravager had veered to the side of the road closest to where the explosions seemed to be coming from, taking her time to inspect every crossroad and listen for every sound, as if it might give her a hint as to what was taking place only a few roads over. However, that left Raven and Beast Boy to bring up the group from the back. With the conversation with Ravager still at the forefront of his mind, he couldn't help but think about what he would do if he got the chance to end Deathstroke…

He shook his head and turned his head towards Raven, a frown plastering itself across his face as he took in the empath. He knew he had walked ahead, but with his hearing, especially while shifted, he still would have picked up if she had spoken. As far as he could tell, she hadn't said a word since they said goodbye to Cyborg. He couldn't see her face from underneath her hood and for a second, he was tempted to reach out to see how she was feeling, but thought better of it. Now wasn't the time to go prying inside of her head, especially when he still wasn't quite sure how it worked. Instead, he settled for the tried and trusted.

"Rae?"

Raven didn't even flinch and Beast Boy's frown deepened and without thinking he reached out and grabbed the empath's hand, calling her name again softly as he did so. This time, Raven jolted, almost as if she had been shocked and turned to face Beast Boy, who managed to catch the slightest glimpse of her surprised face as her hood floated upwards for a split second, before it came back down, shrouding the empath in mystery once again. She heard her sigh.

"Sorry…zoned out for a minute."

"I could tell…I'd ask what's on your mind but…"

Raven gave a weak chuckle from under her hood. "It's actually not what you think…just hearing all of that noise a few streets away, knowing it's other titans fighting, essentially because of me…and don't look at me like that, I know what you're going to say...it's still…a lot."

Beast Boy, who's face had briefly turned to a deadpan stare until Raven called him out, gave her hand a squeeze. "I know…I ain't exactly a fan of avoiding that fight, knowing who's out there…but they all know what they're fighting for…and we have our own job to do."

The two continued to walk forward, Raven's hand now more firmly grasped in Beast Boy's, when Beast Boy gave a little huff, as if he had just thought of a funny joke. "Hey Rae?"

Raven looked up at him, one of her eyebrows arching beneath her hood. She didn't need to respond. He knew at this stage when he had her attention.

"I know you can't help but think about what's going on and it's not your fault, but I gotta ask, cause I mean…I was pretty bad at spotting it in the past. I mean…every Titan came to fight…without a single question or doubt or…well anything…fate of the world or not, they've done that for you as well."

"I don't want them to have to put themselves in danger for me."

"It's not about that…what I mean is…pretty rare to have friends that care about you that much…ya'know?"

Raven stared at the ground in front of her, choosing to focus on her own footsteps rather than the teammate…friend…more than that at this stage. It was certainly something to think about and something she could admit she hadn't done. Part of her though that it seemed selfish…to take pride in the fact that people she considered friends were willing to risk their lives for not only the world, but for her. But even she couldn't deny that warm feeling deep down that sprouted from there being people on this planet that wanted to fight for her. From being designed to be a sacrificial lamb to where she was now…well it was quite the contrast.

Beast Boy sighed. "Just something to think about…people have your back, that's all."

Raven looked up at him to find he had already gone to looking at the road ahead, that same damn look defiance on his face, like he was silently daring for Deathstroke to step around any given corner. She didn't need to be an empath or have the bond that they did to know how serious he was. The normal mirth had left his eyes and even though it was gone, part of Raven could swear she could see the outline of the scar that had once sealed Beast Boy's eye closed. Azar, he had changed so much…

Realizing her hand was still in his, she gave it a squeeze back, prompting the changeling to turn to face her.

"I know Gar…trust me, I really do."

He smiled back at her, the trademark glint returning to his eyes for just a moment before he faced forward again, the serious look returning. Raven followed his eyeline and saw the reason for his immediate change in demeanor. Only a few feet ahead now, Starfire was removing a large metal grate from the ground. The two hurried forward, letting go of each other's hand as they moved. Nightwing noted their arrival with a nod.

"This is our entry point. According to the schematics I was able to access, we should be able to use this route for a few minutes before getting to a section of wall that separates the sewers from the main tunnel system thin enough for us to break through. Beast Boy, can you take the lead? You're got the best vision in the dark."

Beast Boy cracked his knuckles. "No problem. If you've got light sources, use em'. If not, stay close to me."

Without another word, Beast Boy looked down at the now uncovered hole in the ground and jumped in, with the titans watching him descend only catching the slightest glimpse of an owl before it disappeared into the darkness. Luckily for the others, there was also a ladder and after some tinkering with mechanism on the side using a tool from Nightwing's tool belt, the bindings on the ladder gave way, and the metal bars rapidly descended into the darkness. Nightwing motioned for the others to go first, until only he was still stood on the surface. With one final glance around, Nightwing began to make his way down the ladder and to the sound and vibrations of another massive explosion from the surface, Nightwing pulled the grate back into place, sealing his team in the darkness, like they had never been on the surface at all.

The moment had played out so perfectly in his head. His new armor was up and running and it immediately had it's first target. He'd traverse the broken city streets at speeds he had never gone before, smashing Deathstroke's bots into oblivion as he barreled through waves of enemies only to meet Ternion head on, his titanic fist landing an instantly decisive blow against the monster. The first beast felled in what was to be a grueling battle. A figure head for his troops to get behind and with a rally cry, they'd storm the library and join the others in no time at all.

Unfortunately, the vision in his head was the closest it was going to get to becoming a reality because as he swung his gargantuan fist, attempting to break Ternion's defenses, he hadn't anticipated Ternion opening his massive hand at the last second and catching it, stopping his assault dead in it's tracks. Cyborg's eyes widened from within his armor and he immediately reached up with his other hand to break Ternion's grip, only for the new and improved villain amalgamation to once again catch his hand. The two stood in a grappling match that Ternion was winning. Cyborg struggled under the weight, desperate to try and get some leverage, except in his efforts, he didn't see Ternion rear his back until it was too late. Cyborg only got a second to understand what was about to happen as his face dropped in realization.

"Oh fu-"

Ternion's head flew forward far faster than it should have been able to for a creature of his side, colliding straight into Cyborg, sending him and his new armor flying backwards up the street, where he came crashing down, destroying cars, street lamps and plenty of other public amenities that Jump City had used good taxpayer money to install. Eventually, he came rolling to a halt, where for a few seconds, all he could was stare upwards at the sky and listen as the gentle patter of rain began to sound against the material of his helmet. A quick systems check auto-initiated, thankfully informing that the armor was still operational, much to his relief, but before he got up, he couldn't help but let out a tired sigh.

"I'll build a bigger piece of kit next time…"

Cyborg rolled over onto his front, bringing his enhanced arms underneath himself and pushing himself to his feet. Looking up, he could see Ternion had advanced towards him somewhat, but was currently swatting at Hotspot as he flew around his head, throwing the odd blast of fire here or there. However, it was pretty clear that he was having the same effect that a fly would have on a person. But, it did give him a minute to think. Cyborg took in some of the information from his HUD display as he tried to assess his next plan of action. Even with his new suit of armor, he was still the underdog. He couldn't go toe to toe with Ternion for strength and from what he'd seen, he wasn't exactly slow either. But, while Deathstroke's blessing had certainly made his physical attributes better, Cyborg knew one thing for sure. He was still smarter. That was his advantage.

Last time they'd fought Ternion, the Titans had been able to buy Robin enough time to get behind him and plant a limpet charge mine on his back which overloaded the goliath. That meant that even though Overload was in there, electricity or a power surge was a proven way to take him down. But he didn't have mines like Nightwing did and even if he had one, this version of Ternion was bigger and better. Cyborg had no idea how much power he would need to-

It was a eureka moment of the highest order. Cyborg could practically feel the cartoon lightbulb flashing over his head. Cyborg began searching through his internal systems. If he had designed his armor to be able to be charged up by Kilowatt, there must be a way to engineer it so the power could be exuded at the same time. He knew he hadn't exactly built that function into the armor, but hey, he originally hadn't designed his arm to be a cyber cannon and he'd managed to build that on the fly in the middle of a battle on an alien ship. So this should be a walk in the park.

Cyborg started rattling through the operating systems of the armor, looking for anything he could tweak to make his idea come to fruition. No cables to latch onto Ternion, surge wouldn't work if channeled through his cannons…and then it clicked, but in all honesty, he almost wished he wasn't as smart as he was. In case of excessive damage, Cyborg had installed an ejection sequence in case he needed to get out quick, in which case, following his exit, a self-detonation sequence would be initiated, so no one could get there hands on his technology. If he could get Ternion to make contact with the same handles that Kilowatt used to charge his armor, reverse the current and eject, the power surge back out of the suit would be enough to fry the entire Jump City power grid at this point, let alone a single villain, supercharged by Deathstroke or not. But that would mean…he'd be destroying his armor on its first run out.

"…man, this happened with the T-car as well…suppose I'll rebuild it bigger and better."

Within an idea in mind, all that was left to do was figure out how to get Ternion to complete circuit with the charging handles. He knew it had to be Plasmus part that made contact, or at least that was the only aspect of the villain he knew would definitely be affected by the charge. He'd had have to come up with that on the fly however, as he could only watch and grimace as Ternion finally connected with Hotspot with the back of his concrete hand, sending the flaming Titan sailing across the sky and through a window of one of the buildings lining the city streets. He'd been out of the fray for long enough, but at least now he had the bones of an idea in his head.

Cyborg rose to his feet and as he did so, he picked up a street lamp he had accidently torn out of the ground while he was still rolling to a halt. He was going to have to pick and choose his spots in this fight. He was smart enough to come up with a plan. Time to see if he was smart enough to content with the monster until he figured out how to enact it and seeing Ternion currently still looming towards where he had sent Hotspot careening, now was definitely one of those openings. Street lamp in hand, Cyborg sprung forward, taking to the air in a leap so as to not alert the flaming Ternion until it was too late. However, just before he was about land, he couldn't resist and his voice, volume increased by a speaker in his helmet, echoed throughout the street.

"HEY YOU BIG, FLAMING MORON!"

Ternion's head wheeled around, but too late, as Cyborg's armored feet crunched into ground, and with a one arm swing, he brought the lamp post down over Ternion's head with a resounding crack, eliciting a cry of outrage from the monster. But Cyborg didn't let up and without hesitating, he dropped the flag pole from his left hand, landed a swift punch to the gut with his right hand, spikes still protruding from his knuckles and followed it up with an equally devastating uppercut with his left, lifting Ternion off his feet an sending him backwards, but nowhere near as far as he had sent Cyborg. However, the metal Titan wasn't done and with a quick shift of his arm, the largest version of his plasma cannon he had ever wielded finally made an appearance and he caught Ternion in mid-air with a blue blast of energy, propelling the creature even further backwards, where he came crashing to the ground, crushing many a robot as he did so. Cyborg only had a second to enjoy finally landing a hit on the creature before he felt an impact on his right shoulder. Looking over, his eyes widened in surprise when he saw Bumblebee had landed on his shoulder.

"Nice shot sparky, good to see you can hold your own for once."

"Bee!? What are you doing here? You're supposed to be flanking."

She grimaced. "We got caught. Psimon appeared out nowhere with a bunch of Deathstroke's stupid bots and the back-up plan was to drag as many enemies as possible to the main battlefield as possible. As far as I know, the others got inside."

Cyborg's face turned to one of concern. His team were inside Deathstroke's lair with half the numbers they though they were going to have. They were going to need back-up sooner than ever. But then, his brain clicked. If Bumblebee was here, that meant…

Cyborg turned to Bumblebee, a determined look on his face. "Bee, is your entire team here now? No one got drawn away?"

Bumblebee looked at him in confusion. "Yea, everyone's made it and are out and about on the street somewhere. Why are you excited by that? You need someone?"

Cyborg didn't get to answer immediately as both his and Bumblebee's head were drawn the main road, where Ternion had just let out a gargantuan roar of rage as he rose to his feet. Without looking away from the creature, Cyborg's eyes narrowed.

"I have a plan to take this son of a bitch down...all I need is some time…and the Herald."

Raven had never exactly been a fan of enclosed spaces, let alone when the enclosed space was the Jump City sewer system and the only ambiance being provided as the occasional rumble through the floor as another explosion sounded off above them. All in all…she could think of a few places she'd rather be. After his initial foray into the darkness, Beast Boy had shifted from an owl in a wolf, trotting a few feet ahead of the others. Starfire had always had a decent ability to see in the dark and Nightwing did have a torch in the seemingly endless space of his utility belt, but no was a match for Beast Boy's heightened senses. Raven could see his head swiveling, his ears flicking constantly, almost as if he was expecting them to be attacked at any moment. She at least hoped the fighting could wait until they made it into the tunnels beneath the library. She hated the place, but at least it was…cleaner.

It didn't take long for Nightwing's research to prove correct as Beast Boy stopped in front of a section of wall on the left hand side of the tunnel after only a few minutes of walking. He moved closer to it and Raven could have sworn that it look like he was putting one of his wolf ears against the rock. In a split second, he had shifted back to being human.

"Nightwing, does this line-up with schematics you have? I can hear stuff behind the wall hear…I can't tell exactly what, but there's something going on."

Nightwing took out his communicator and looked at the map on the small screen, using his fingers to pinch the map and zoom in, his eyes darting up and down the sewer tunnel as he tried to make connections between where they were and where that put them on the map. After a moment, he gave a satisfied nod.

"It should line up perfectly. Raven, can you bring this wall down? As discreetly as possible."

Raven nodded and stepped forward as Beast Boy took a step back. Raven looked at the wall in front of her and noted that unlike most of the smooth tunnels they had walked through so far, there was the faint remnant of brick work on this section. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath.

"Azarath Metrion Zinthos."

In an instant, individual bricks started moving out of the wall, from the top down, each floating gently over the groups head, before slowly dropping into the water of the sewers, with barely a sound. The whole process only took a couple of minutes and what was left in the brick walls place was a dark tunnel that was concealed behind it. Raven recognized the change in architecture immediately. There was no doubt in her mind this had been a sealed off exit to the labyrinth that existed beneath the library. She turned around, letting her hands fall to her sides and the look she saw one Beast Boy, Nightwing and Starfire's faces confirmed that they recognized the change in structure too.

Nightwing, never one to dwell on something for too long when it wasn't helpful, aimed his torch down the tunnel and saw that after a few steps into the darkness, the hallway ended as set of stairs took the flat ground's place, descending into the abyss that all but Ravager had essentially entered before. Ravager, for her part, seemed relatively non-plussed as she peered over Nightwing's shoulder.

"Hmph…seems a bit…over the top…"

Beast Boy sighed and took a step forward. "It's Deathstroke…everything's over the top."

"You're not wrong there…"

Nightwing took a step forward, across the threshold of the sewer. "Okay…we all stay together here. We move quietly, staying out of sight, moving when we know we can. We don't know what's going to be down here and until we do, we play it carefully."

Nightwing's proclamation was quietly received with a series of nods and barely discernible murmurs before he gave a silent nod to Beast Boy, who once again resumed the form of a wolf and move silently past the Titan leader towards the stair case. Once he got there, he peered downwards. Even with his enhanced vision, he couldn't see how far it truly descended. With one last glance behind him to make sure the others were following, his eyes lingering on the empath for just a second longer than the others, Beast Boy planted a paw on the first step. Part of him actually wished the stairs in front him where winding and that he couldn't see around corners because for him, this gentle slope, with no milestones or markings, but knowing what awaited them at the bottom…well...it may have been the descent into the depths of Deathstroke's labyrinth...but a little bit of him couldn't help but whisper that this may have been what a trip to hell might look like.

See you in Ch. 34 Carnivore!
