Chapter 8: Beach Party Blowout
It was a new sunny day in Beach City as the small city had been fixed up recently after what happened with Nightmare and her puppet, Willow.
As for the ones responsible for fixing said city, Steven was inside his home, sitting across from Ben, the man who had an Omnitrix much like Stevens.
"Alright you guys, I know I havent explained much as of yet, but with no more side quests for me to do, I can finally explain myself, so any questions you have for me, are on the table" Ben said as the two were sitting on stools over the kitchen counter.
"Oh man I have so much to ask you!" Steven said excitedly as he asked his first question, "Where did you come from?!".
"In my universe, I come from a town…city…whatever it is called Bellwood, I used to think of it as pretty boring, but over the years I'm proud of where I come from," Ben explained.
"How many aliens have you unlocked?!" Steven asked.
"Eh not really sure, I mean I know I unlocked more than ten thousand aliens over my years as a hero, both from mine and other universes" Ben said as Omni appeared next to him, sitting on a stool chair.
"I mean technically I can tell you an accurate estimate, but I don't wanna overload you guys' minds, not yet atleast" Omni said with a teasing chuckle.
"Don't tease them Omni, they are still learning" Ben said to her as she pouts cutely.
"Wait I got a question" Trix said with his pincer in the air, "What is your relationship between you two? I mean me and Steven are practically like brothers ever since we met".
"Well, when Omni was first given a body she took on a form based on my DNA, in technical terms she is like a genetic sibling, but since we spent more time together" Ben explained before Omni interrupted.
"We're basically lovers~ Ben is my heroic knight while I am his princess" Omni said as Ben rolled his eyes at this, knowing Omni liked playing up dramatics.
"Huh, guess that makes sense" Trix said as he didn't really see anything wrong with this, technically it's taboo cause of their genetic connection but Omni is essentially a female Ben made of energy and human DNA, so she isn't actually related to him.
"So why are you here in our Universe?" Steven asked.
"Well, see that's the thing, we were asked to come here" Ben said as he began explaining more.
"Back in my universe, I stopped a lot of bad guys, like you do Steven, but I faced much worse guys, my own Animo for example wanted to mutate animals and people into animal hybrid monsters for him to rule, Hex, a magic user, once tried to take over the world with magic, and many others followed suit, but after defeating them all and essentially bringing peace to my planet and universe, I didn't have much to do besides the average criminals, but thats when an old friend of mine, Professor Paradox came to us, along with someone else" Ben said as he flashbacks to him and Omni in a high tech base before a blue portal appeared before them with an old man in a steam punk-like outfit walked out, along with a robot with black metal, flame and ice decor on the arms and legs and blue orbs for eyes with a 3 horned crest on its round head.
"Paradox and this robot, who called himself Mechazoid, told us that we were needed to help you, to help you train your alien forms and to help you against threats that you might not be ready for yet" Omni continued as the flashback showed Ben and Omni agreeing to help, packing their things, saying goodbyes to their friends and family as they traveled to Stevens universe.
"When we arrived it was just a 2 weeks before your Omnitrix had landed on to your planet, so we made our home here in town, outfitting it with tech from our universe and even expanding it with some special spacial tech we got as gifts from some friends" Ben said as the flashback showed them arriving at night, finding the place they would call home and built their new home, Ben using some of his aliens while Omni, being partially energy-technological being, also used the aliens powers but in her human form while controlling the technology.
"When Trix arrived, we stayed close, watching over in the distance to be sure you would be ready for when we would jump in to help you" Omni said as the flashback then shows Ben and Omni watching from there home, seeing Steven testing his aliens, from his first transformation at Trix's crash site, to using his aliens to play with Amethyst.
"Whooaa, that's awesome! So you came to our universe to help me train with my aliens? Thats amazing!" Steven exclaimed while standing on his stool.
"Well that and to help the gems too, in all honesty, they may be awesome fighters, but teachers they are not, plus I've trained Omnitrix wielders from other universes before, this won't be any different" Ben said, remembering his time training a younger, richer and bluer version of himself.
"Well what are we waiting for?! Show us some of your moves guys!" Trix said with excitement.
However a loud horn-like sound was heard along with a massive gust of wind blowing the house's door open, surprising the two Omnitrix wielders as there were no reports of windy weather today.
"What's going on?" Omni asked.
"Lets go find out, maybe the gems will know!" Steven said as he ran out with Trix reconfiguring into Stevens Omnitrix, with Omni disappearing into bens as he followed the Human/Gem hybrid outside.
Outside along the beach, the gems were currently battling with what was making the loud horn noise and producing the strong winds as they ran past the house when Steven and Ben ran outside.
"Whats going on?" Steven called out to the gems.
"We found a Corrupted gem near the shores outside the city, however as soon as it spotted us it's been attacking us nonstop!" Pearl explained.
"What kinda gem can make that much noise and wind?!" Ben asked as the noise got louder and the wind was getting stronger.
"That one!" Garnet said as she points around the temple, which revealed the Corrupted gem.
It looked like a giant barbed puffer fish, its colours reminded Steven of a watermelon with green on top and its underbelly being pink, its mouth showed sharp teeth with puffy lips and it had big puffed cheeks, its eyes however was surprising, being two rectangular gems as its pupils with the gemstones being the same green as its top side.
"What is that?!" Ben exclaimed.
"Its a Watermelon Tourmaline and its powerful!" Cats Eye exclaimed as she used her claws to anchor herself to the ground, but with the ground being soft sand, it didn't work well as she slid backwards due to the wind the corrupted gem starting blowing again.
"It's tougher than other ones we faced, that's for sure!" Amethyst yelled through the wind and noise as she used her whip to lasso a rock, to not get blown away.
"Then let's give this blowout a taste of its own medicine!" Trix yelled as Steven activated his omnitrix and chose an alien before slamming the core down.
The green and pink light covered him before it died down, revealing he turned into Fist-Thrash before he leapt into the air, trying to land a powerful punch on the Corrupted gem before it blew its wind again, which surprisingly forced Fist-Thrash back and made him crash into the ground.
"GYOW!" he yelled as he got up from the sand, "Ugh I hate crashing into sand!".
"Let me have a go, I wanna see how strong these corrupted Gems are anyway" Ben said as he activated his Omnitrix, which showed a holographic wheel with aliens faces before he selected one, the core rising up before Ben slammed his down with a bright green flash enveloping him.
After the light disappeared, Fist-Thrash's jaw dropped at another new alien from Ben, this one looked like an anthropomorphic rhino, having grey skin and feet like a Rhino does, only he also had silver and blue metal blades coming from his shoulders, arms, knees and his horn being a blue and silver metal blade, he also had numerous vents on his body, his uniform consisted of a jumpsuit with green bottoms, a black top and white lining, his Omnitrix badge was on his left elbow.
"Kleaver! Let's see if that big Puffer can handle me now!" Kleaver said before charging into the battle, the corrupted gem saw him charging in before letting loose the wind from its maw again, Kleaver was seen struggling before smirking and pushed through the wind, the corrupted gem started blowing harder as Kleaver kept moving forward.
"Come on, that all you got?! This light breeze ain't nothing to me" Kleaver yelled as he kept pushing through, Fist-Thrash took this chance to run behind the Corrupted Gem and jumped up onto its back, making the puffer fish gem stop blowing wind as it tried to force the Tetramand off of her.
"Steven! Be Careful!" Pearl yelled as she summoned her spear and tried to aim at the corrupted tourmaline.
Kleaver than ran forward with incredible speed before dragging his wrist blades against the ground, in which the blades started to glow with blue energy as they were dragged along the sand before Kleaver stopped in place and flung his arms forward, sending large blue energy slashes at the Puffer Fish monster.
The corrupted Gem saw this and managed to throw Fist-Thrash off of her and into the energy slashes, hitting the tetramand as he got flung over her and into the ground again, making him groan in pain, Kleaver cringed at this and didn't mean to hit the boys.
"Sorry Steven, my bad!" Kleaver yelled before the puffer fish started blowing again, catching Kleaver by surprise as he got flown back.
This also blew the rest of the gems back as they all got thrown onto the beach closer to town with Fist-Thrash getting up and running to them to see if they were ok, only for the Corrupted Gem to blow him away too and into the group as he fell beside Amethyst and Kleaver, Garnet and Pearl landed on their feet while Cats Eye got her head stuck in the sand.
"You ok Steven?!" Pearl asked.
"Yeah, I'm alright" Fist-Thrash said.
"Gee, thanks for asking Pearl, I'm ok too!" Trix called out.
"Pearl, I got a booboo" Amethyst said as she got up from the ground.
"Oh walk it off" Pearl said as Cats Eye got her head out of the sand while spitting out some sand from her mouth.
"Bleh! Ew ew ew! Sand in my mouth!" Cats Eye said as she wiped the sand out of her mouth.
"Man this thing is surprisingly tough" Kleaver said while getting up and into a battle stance.
"No surprise actually, this things' energy levels are much stronger than the Crystal Gems right now" Omni said from the Omnitrix on Kleaver.
"Here it comes!" Garnet warned as the Watermelon Tourmaline corruption floated high in the air before blowing more air onto the group.
"You guys distract it!" Garnet said as she leapt away to get higher ground.
"Lets show this thing what we're made of!" Pearl exclaimed.
"What do you think we've been doing for the past hour?!" Amethyst asked.
Pearl aimed her spear at the corrupted gem before throwing it, hoping to hit it this time, however the Puffer fish monster saw this quickly and blow air towards it, making it fly back dangerously spinning in the air.
"Duck!" Pearl warned as she ducked down.
"What I don't see any-WHA!" Amethyst exclaimed before ducking, barely avoiding getting hit as the end of her long hair got snipped, "Quack!".
"Steven! Try a thunderclap to distract it!" Kleaver advised as Fist-Thrash nods before swinging all four arms out before bringing them together for a hard clap, which made a shockwave towards the corrupted gem and made it lose balance from the force of the thunder clap while also making it stop blowing wind.
"Awesome!" Fist-Thrash exclaimed as Kleave ran in, dragging his wrist blades in the sand again to build up kinetic energy in them.
"This time should do it!" Kleaver said before swinging his blades forward, firing off the blue energy waves again which thankfully hit the monster, it didn't damage it much but it did cut off some of the spikes on it.
"Sheesh this things durable" Kleaver commented.
"Look! Here comes Garnet!" Cats Eye pointed out as Garnet as seen coming down from the sky with her gauntlets ready, however the Puffer Fish gem gained focus again and blew more air onto the incoming Garnet, which made her struggle in their air before being blown into the air once more, this time however she was thrown all the way to the boardwalk and crashed into a building.
"Aw man this things too adaptive!" Trix complained.
"Ugh! Whatever!" Amethyst exclaimed as she ran in and jumped before the corrupted gem could react, she shape shifted into a large purple baseball bat before hitting the monster like a baseball, sending it far into the ocean.
She then landed but was met with a frustrated Pearl, "Amethyst! Smacking it really far away doesn't solve anything! It's just gonna come back later!" Pearl said.
"So we'll deal with it later" Amethyst argued, fed up with fighting the monster.
Fist-Thrash and Kleaver soon timed out as a green flash covered Kleaver while a pink and green light covered Fist-Thrash, with Ben and Steven back to normal.
"Come on, let's go get Garnet, she landed at the boardwalk" Steven said as the group went to get the Crystal Gems leader.
At the boardwalk, Garnet was laying in the spot she crashed in, which was ontop of a restaurant sign, now destroyed from her landing.
Standing outside the shop were two people, one was an african american man in a sea-foam green shirt, grey shorts and blue shoes with a hair net in his black hair.
Standing next to him was a teen girl in a light blue shirt, grey jeans that showed off her butt and black shoes, her hair was tied in a fluffy ponytail, both of them were wearing a white apron with a pizza slice on it.
"WOULD YOU ANSWER ME?!" Shouted the man in anger, "You've wrecked my sigh and now your just sitting up there! Are we engaged in some secret staring contest?!".
"Garnet!" Steven called out as he and the group ran over, Garnet reacted to his voice as she moved from her landing and jumped off the building.
"Are you ok?!" Steven asked.
"I'm fine" Garnet said as she regrouped with the gems.
"Hey Steven" said the teen girl as she saw Steven.
"Hey Kiki!" Steven greeted, as Amethyst then gave a laugh when seeing Garnet's crash site.
"Man this place is wrecked! Gimme one down low!" Amethyst said as she tried to give a high five to Garnet but Pearl pushed her arm down.
"No acolytes for you Amethyst!" Pearl scolded as she turned to Garnet, "She knocked the puffer fish back into the ocean!"
"Narc!" Amethyst called out.
"Lets regroup back at the temple" Garnet said as she, Pearl and Amethyst started heading back, leaving Steven, Ben and Cats Eye at the boardwalk.
"Where are you going?! What about my sign?!" called out the man in anger as he looked to Steven, "Steven! What is wrong with your guardians?! One of them bust up my sign and then they all just leave without even addressing it?!".
"B-But, Mr. Pizza" Steven tried to explain before someone walked out the restaurant, someone that Trix came out of the Omnitrix for and started to act strange.
"Dad! Pipe down" walking out the door and leaning on it was another teen girl, she wore red tight pants and a grey shirt with blue slip on shoes and gold earrings with smooth short hair, as soon as Trix saw her his dial started to spin rapidly while letting out small loose sparks with a dopey smile emoji on his dial face.
"Oh I'm sorry, did I interrupt your beauty sleep?" Mr. Pizza said sarcastically as the girl yawned.
"I don't need sleep to look pretty" she said with a smirk.
"J-J-Jenny~" Trix mumbled at seeing the girl now named Jenny, in which Cat's Eye took notice of and couldn't help but find this cute to her.
"Now you listen here young woman-" before the man could scold his daughter, an old short woman walked out, wearing a green jacket and pink turtleneck sweater, big round glasses and beige shorts with sandals and white socks, her hair tied in a large bun as she held a knife and a dead fish.
"Kofi! Your going to wake this fish back from the dead with all the noise your keeping" the old woman scolded, "Op, too late" she said as she made the fish move by shaking it, "'Kofi, you so loud'" she made the fish say as Steven and Ben couldn't help but chuckle at this.
"Ganga you're so funny" Jenny said still smirking.
"Mom! Quit joking around!, look what they did to my sign!" Kofi yelled as his mother, Nanafua, walked out to see the damage.
"Oh cheese on bread" Nanafua said, being careful not to cuss around her grandkids and Steven.
"Can you believe it?!" he asked before looking to Steven, "Your such a nice boy Steven, why do you hang with such animals?!" he questioned the boy.
"Hey! It just so happens this animal pays to eat here!" Cats Eye argued, she often came to eat here since they did Pizza and Fish, and her favourite, Fish ON Pizza.
"They're not animals! They're the Crystal Gems and they protect humanity!" Steven said before Kofi yelled.
"I had enough!"
"Whoa dude, chill out, it was an accident" Ben said, trying to intervene.
"Sir, this does not concern you!" Kofi said to Ben as Nanafua, knowing Kofi wasn't in the mood to settling things calmly, started to usher the girls inside the restaurant, "Come on girls, I think I hear all our cell phones ringing" she said as an excuse.
"Ganga your hearing is so good" Jenny said so they could get out of the situation.
"H-Huh? What happened? Did I black out?" Trix asked as soon as Jenny left.
"Steven, you and her can tell the rest of your guardians they she and they are BANNED from Fish Stew Pizza!" Kofi exclaimed, which Cats Eye didn't take well as her eye twitched before she gasped in horror.
"Wait what?! Kofi that's not fair!" Steven said as he tried to reason with the man, only for Kofi to walk back inside his restaurant and close the door, ending the conversation, "This was just an accident!".
"W-Wait wait!" Cats Eye yelled as she pressed against the restaurant's windows, "Y-You can't ban me! I'm your best customer right?! I even eat the leftover pizza and fish you guys don't use! Come on please!" Cat's Eye begged as tears flowed down her face, "Y-You can't ban me, p-please!" Cats Eye started crying and begging and she slid down the window, completely saddened by this.
"Aw man, this isn't good" Ben commented as he felt sorry for the feline gem.
"Fish Stew Pizza is one of Cats Eye's favourite places to eat, can you blame her for acting like this?" Trix asked as Cats Eye cried.
Later, Steven and Ben had to drag Cats Eye back to the beach house, even with the feline gem in denial and trying to stay at the pizza restaurant but it was futile as Ben picked her up and carried her over his shoulder to get her back to the house.
"What if we just like, let it roam free?" Amethyst suggested as the gems were in the kitchen, discussing about what to do about the Watermelon Tourmaline corrupted gem.
"Thats not an option" Garnet said as Steven, Ben and Cats Eye arrived at the house, with Ben setting Cats Eye on the couch.
"Hey guys, whoa whats wrong with Cat?" Amethyst asked.
"I got bad news everyone, you've all been banned from Fish Stew Pizza" Steven said sadly, which made Cats Eye return to crying loudly as she held a pillow and cried into it.
Not knowing how to take the news, the others weren't exactly as emotional as Cats Eye was.
"Oh, well, that's ok" Pearl said.
"Their pizza wasn't even that good" Amethyst commented, which she got a pillow to her head as Cat's Eye glared at her.
"Well it was good to ME!" She yelled angrily before going back to crying as she fell to her side on the couch, the temple door then opened as Fireball walked in with confusion on her face.
"Why is my sister crying?" she asked, she had gotten used to the relationship status her and Cats Eye had ever since the Nightmare battle, it helped she stayed in the same room as her.
"Why aren't you guys as upset at this as Cat's Eye?! Aren't you even a little upset?" Steven asked.
"Not at all" Garnet said bluntly.
"But these are our neighbors," Steven said, trying to reason with them.
"There's nothing we can do about it now" Garnet said while Fireball went to comfort her sister, Cat's Eye hugging her as she cried into the Xeno cat's shoulder.
"Right now we have to figure out how to take care of that Puffer Fish" Pearl explained.
"What's the point of saving people if they're just gonna ban you from their pizza shops?" Steven asked.
"We don't do it for thanks" Garnet pointed out.
"Well I mean, Steven kinda has a point" Ben pointed out, "Back in my Universe I didn't do it for thanks either, but having the support of the people I saved helped in the long run, so having the Pizza's support could benefit you guys too" Ben said trying to help Steven in reasoning with them.
"Yeah Ben gets it! You guys are so nice for helping the town and the Pizza's don't even know!" Steven said, "If they got to spend time with you they could see how fun, and smart, and cool and mysterious you are" Steven said as he began to think on an idea, when he thought of something.
"I know! I'll throw a little party on the beach in front of the temple! Just us and the Pizza's, maybe Ben and Omni can join too!" Steven said.
"Hmm, guess we could, its been a while since I've been to a beach party" Ben said as Omni appeared from his Omnitrix with an excited smile.
"Oh please tell me we'll be in beach outfits! I got just the thing to show off to my darling~" Omni said with a flirty look to Ben as he blushed at this.
Soon a nearby outlet sparked with purple electricity before a certain Megawatt launched out of it.
"Did I hear something about a party? Cause I want in!" Violet exclaimed, surprising Ben and Omni, not knowing she was there.
"Yeah! This is gonna be great!" Steven said as Cats Eye stopped crying as she looked to Steven.
"Please make it great enough to have them unban us Steven! I'll do anything to eat there again!" Cats Eye exclaimed.
"Don't worry! I'll take care of everything!" Steven smiled confidently.
Later on, outside the temple.
Steven had set up everything he needed for this beach party, he had a barbeque grill going thanks to using Pyroburst for the fire and had put out some chairs and a large round table.
Steven had changed into a pink sleeveless shirt with yellow lines and blue swim shorts as he put some burger patties and some sausages on the grill with a spatula, he was glad he learned how to do this from his dad.
"This is awesome Steven! You did a great job setting up" Trix commented.
"Thanks Trix, this is gonna be so good!" Steven said, excited about hosting this beach party, he honestly wanted to do this for a long time but never got the chance until now.
"Hey Steven!" Amethyst called out as the gems walked outside, Fireball standing next to Cat's Eye as the feline gem was trying to be happy for this party, Ben was in the beach house changing, which Omni stayed with him cause, obvious reasons.
Violet was floating above them as she wore a large sunhat on her head.
"Got everything you need for your party?" Pearl asked.
"Yep, just one more thing" Steven said as he handed a beach fashion book to the gems.
"Whats this for?" Amethyst asked as the gems looked at the book.
"I was thinking you guys could change your outfits" Steven suggested.
"What's wrong with what we have on now?" Pearl asked confused.
"Nothing, Steven means you guys should wear something casual for a Beach Party, you know, comfortable and not out of place?" Trix said before voices were heard coming from the corner of the beach.
"Is this the right address?" came Nanafua's voice.
"I've never seen this part of the beach before" Jenny's voice was hard as Trix sparked a little from hearing her voice.
"Oh man, they're here, hurry up and change!" Steven said as he went to greet the guests while the gems looked at the book, Fireball got the idea on what Steven meant and ran to the beach house with incredible speed to change her clothes.
"Over here everyone" Steven called out as the Pizza family arrived, the teen girls in different clothes while Kofi and Nanafua were in the same outfits as before, just without the aprons.
Kiki was wearing a light green sundress with sandals and a pink ribbon on her head, letting her curly hair out of any hair ties.
Jenny on the other hand was wearing a black bikini under a orange and white crop top shirt and a orange shirt skirt with orange sandals.
Trix visibly let out steam from his dial as he had heart eye emoji's on his face from seeing Jenny's beach wear.
"How are you all doing today?" Steven asked, not noticing Trix's reaction.
"The shop is closed today, because its broken" Kofi said, still angry about it as the others were silent, not knowing what to say after that.
"O-Oh, th-that sounds, um, uh" Steven stuttered, not knowing how to respond.
"Hey, I smell hotdogs, show me where the hotdogs are" Nanafua asked, redirecting the conversation.
"O-Oh, right this way everyone" Steven said as he led the Pizza family to where the party was being held.
As they walked over, Fireball is seen running back in a blur.
"First let me introduce-" Steven was gonna say before being interrupted.
"We are the Crystal Gems" Garnet announced as hers, Pearls, Amethysts and Cat's Eyes clothes glowed in respective light colours before they changed.
"Garnet!" Announced herself as her outfit changed to tied back red shirt with pink lines holding her bust with a black skirt with red trim that showed her thighs, she still wore her same shades though.
"Amethyst!" the purple shortstack announced as her outfit changed to jean shorts and a black crop top with her hair tied into a giant pony tail.
"Pearl!" Announced Pearl as her outfit changed to a two piece sundress with a once piece white swimsuit underneath.
"Cats Eye!" The feline gem announced as her outfit changed to a two piece black and yellow cat themed string bikini, cat themed being it had cat faces on the bra and panties.
"And Fireball!" Fireball exclaimed as she jumped by Cat's Eye's side, now sporting a fixed version of her one piece she wore when the gems first found her, now with a stitched in yellow star in the front.
"And Steven" Steven said with a nervous laugh.
Just then the beach houses door opened as Ben walked out, now in green swim shorts while showing off his lean and muscled body which he had a large scar across his chest, since he was a hero he needed to be in good shape, which showed well as he looked like he could bench press at least 5 guys at once.
"Hey guys, starting the party without us already?" Ben asked before Omni walked out too, her outfit definitely made some heads spin.
Omni's regular clothes definitely hid her figure well cause she had big breasts that could be classified as deadly weapons if possible with a plump ass too, which she only wore a one piece swimsuit, however the majority of it was see through, the thing that only covered the bare minimum were two black lines covering her crotch and breasts, which left everything else in view.
Cats Eye's tail and hair frizzled out while getting a nosebleed and shivered in place at seeing Omni's beach wear as the other gems couldn't help but also feel similar, Pearl shivered in place while trying to hide her nosebleed while Amethyst blushed, Garnet barely reacted but had a faint blush on her face, Fireball didn't react like them as she liked Omni's outfit, definitely not hiding she reacted like her sister when she went inside to change earlier, definitely not.
Kofi tried to be nice and not look directly at Omni's outfit while Jenny and Kiki couldn't help but feel jealous of Omni's figure, Nanafua wasn't affected as she felt Omni was only showing off.
A wolf whistle was heard as many looked to Violet, still in the air with her large sunhat as she looked at Omni.
"You're rocking that girl" she said as she got many stares, the Pizza's looking at her with worry, "What? I can't compliment a fellow energy being now?" she asked.
"Oh right, guys this is Violet, I know you guys think she's still a part of the Shockers from a few weeks ago, but she's nice and left that group" Steven said, noticing the Pizza's worried looks.
Violet floated down to the Pizza's as she holds a hand out to them, noticing their worried looks, "I won't zap you, I promise" she said, Nanafua was the first to approach as she went to shake Violets hand, as she did the old woman was no longer afraid.
"Oh my, you feel like a leather glove" she commented.
"Well that is kinda what my body is made of" Violet said, glad she was easing the worries.
"Hey, hows about we eat? Don't want to food to burn" Steven suggested.
A few minutes later food was prepared as everyone sat at the large round table.
Steven sat next to Pearl who was on his right with Garnet, Amethyst, Cats Eye and Fireball along a portion of the table with Trix on the table by Steven, Ben and Omni sat next to each other right after Fireball with the Pizza's taking another portion of the table, Violet floated above the gems as she munched on a burger.
"Aren't you girls hungry? You barely touched your food" Nanafua asked since Garnet and Pearl hadn't ate anything while Amethyst and Cat's Eye ate some burgers.
"We don't need to eat" Garnet simply said.
"But we still like to eat" Cat's Eye said as she ate another burger while Fireball ate a hotdog that was covered in hot sauce, funny enough Fireball liked spicy food.
"So, you all live in that tiny house on the hill?" Kofi asked.
"We inhabit the inner sanctums, only accessible through magical, extra dimensional doors" Garnet said dramatically.
"I've been living in the lighthouse on top of the hill" Violet pointed out as she finished her fourth burger.
"Me and Omni don't live in the temple, we have our own place in town" Ben explained as Omni nuzzled into his side.
"So, how come this place looks like its falling apart?" Asked Jenny, with Trix looking at her from across the table with heart eye emojis, she hadn't noticed this yet.
"Well the temple has been here for thousands of years which would-" however Pearl was interrupted by Kofi.
"Oh so when something breaks around here, you leave it alone, Like the sign at my shop!" Kofi exclaimed, still plenty angry about it, "You still have not apologised or even offered to help repair it!"
"We're just doing our jobs in defending the city and its people from monsters" Pearl argued, not seeing why this was such a big fuss, but then again the Crystal Gems didn't have much social skills outside their own inner circle.
"So you think its ok to destroy our property just cause of that?!" Kofi argued as his temper rose.
Seeing this was gonna end badly if he didn't do something, Steven put his onion filled burger down and tried to intervene.
"H-Hey hows about we get to some activities! Maybe some games or something?" Steven asked as Ben got an idea.
"Hey Steven, hows about a race?" He suggested as Steven thought on it, "Plus I wanna show off one of my speedster aliens I'm sure you haven't seen before" Ben said as Steven was curious on what he meant.
A few minutes later a makeshift finish line was made in the beach as Ben and Steven stood by each other in front of the finish line, the gems, Pizza's and Violet were off to the side to see how this would go, Omni was even holding up a large sign that read "GO BEN 10 3" while Pearl and Amethyst had their own signs saying "GO STEVEN" and "STEVEN 10 RULZ", it was clear who had which sign.
"Ready to show me what you got Steven?" Ben asked as he stretched.
"You bet!" Steven said as he activated his Omnitrix and scrolled to his speed alien's silhouette, "Hope you have something that can keep up with me!" He said before slamming down and getting covered in green and pink light, now as Quickstrike.
"Huh, guess Citrikayah's look different in this universe" Omni said aloud.
"Huh nice, cool look Fasttrack" Ben commented before he activated his Omnitrix and scrolled the holographic wheel to the alien he wanted, but he's got nothing on…" Ben said for dramatics as he pressed the core down and changing in a green light.
When the light died down, Ben was replaced with what the others could best describe was a raptor-like dinosaur, he had a black body with a green stripe along his chest, his arms and feet were blue with black 3 digit claws and a long thick tail with blue ring stripes along it, his head looked to have a biological helmet which ended at a point behind him, his face was now blue with black lines along his eyes, on his blue feet were 2 jet black balls that seemed to be attached to the feet, the Omnitrix symbol was on his chest.
"XLR8!" Ben exclaimed, now as XLR8 as Garnet, Pearl and Cats Eye were surprised with this new alien, knowing what species it was while Amethyst and the Pizza's were just surprised with the teens excited, not knowing what this alien was about.
"A Kiniceleran, I haven't seen one in ages" Pearl said with curiosity.
"A Kenny what now?" Amethyst asked
"Kiniceleran, they are one of the fastest alien species in the universe" Garnet explained, "Though it will be interesting to see if Quickstrike is faster or not than Ben's form".
Quickstrike and XLR8 then got into running positions as Trix spoke, "Quickstrike is the fastest alien we got, ain't no way we're getting beat by some dino skater" Trix said as he tried showing off to Jenny.
Violet floated infront of the two speed aliens as she held a large flag, "On your marks…"
Quickstrike gave a fanged smirk, ready to go full speed.
"Get set…"
XLR8 smirks before a mask slides down on his face, which was black with a blobby blue X for him to see through.
"...GO!"
Just as Violet waved the flag, both alien speedsters were off, leaving a miniature sonic boom as they did so and kicking up a lot of sand as they ran forward.
XLR8 and Quickstrike were neck and neck as Quickstrike ran, trying to avoid hitting anything in his path, while XLR8, who had gotten used to the new terrain with his fastest aliens, was able to manoeuvre well around all obstacles in his path, as XLR8 started to get ahead of Quickstrike.
"Whoa, he's actually getting ahead of us!" Quickstrike said in awe before smiling in excitement, "Now I finally got a challenge!" He said as he started to put more power in his speed, trying to catch up.
As they raced they didn't realise they were already heading to the finish line as Quickstrike constantly tried to overtake XLR8, only for the black and blue reptilian alien to move further ahead each time.
Just before they crossed the finish line, Quickstrike accidentally trips on a loose stone, which in turn made him tumble and crash into XLR8 as they both crashed and tumbled while crossing the finish line, before they both crashed to a stop, showing they tangled themselves up during said crash.
"Ugh, definitely not one of my better stops" XLR8 said dazed.
"Ooooooh, I don't wanna ride the tea cup cookie cat…" Quickstrike said also dazed as the two speedsters shook off the dizziness and got up before they timed out.
"Ugh, sorry about that Ben" Steven said.
"Hey its no biggie, besides thats what we'll be training for, improving your skills" Ben said with a smile, "Besides, we gave one heck of a show" he said as the gems, Violet and the Pizza's, minus Kofi, cheered for the both of them, which cheered up Steven a bit.
Later they were on a next activity as Steven had built a sand castle, which panned over to Jenny and Kiki built a bigger sandcastle with two towers, then it panned to Garnet, who built a walk in sand castle, which then panned to Ben who activated his Omnitrix before transforming in a green light.
He then appears as a new alien, appearing almost mechanical with yellow armor, silver claws and pistons on the elbows of his large arms, he has a short tail that looked mechanical with short legs, his face is covered by a yellow helmet, only showing his green eyes and long thin grey ears, the omnitrix symbol appearing on his chest armor.
"Armodrillo!" he yelled before he turned his claws into a drill and a shovel before he started building his own sandcastle which was covered by a dust cloud, after a minute the dust clears, showing he built a giant sandcastle that was like a tower, which easily trumped everyone elses' sandcastles.
Omni appeared on his shoulders with her legs around his head which made the armored alien blush, "You just love to show off don't you hon?~" Omni flirted as Armodrillo blushed more.
After that came the next activity, which was Volley Ball, Steven had used a stick to make the volleyball court limits as a net was set up in the middle.
"Alright, who's ready for volleyball?!" Steven asked excitedly as many cheered, except for Kofi who just remained silent for now.
"But Steven, won't our abilities give us an unfair advantage?" Pearl asked.
"Thats why we're picking the teams" Trix said as a wheel with their face icons appeared on his dial as he selects the teams.
"First is Amethyst and Jenny!" Steven called out as the two mentioned walked to one end of the volleyball court limits.
"Pearl and Kiki" The next two mentioned did the same as Amethyst and Jenny, only the opposite side.
"Garnet and Kofi" both of them walked to the sidelines of the court.
"Ben and Omni" Omni hooked her arm around Bens as the two walked over to the sidelines.
"Cats Eye and Fireball" the cat sisters gave a high five as they ran to their own spot.
"And finally, Steven and Nanafua!" Trix announced as Steven gave a thumbs up.
"I haven't played in ages, but I'm sure I can whoop all your butts" Nanafua said confidently.
The first match was set up as Pearl and Kiki faced Amethyst and Jenny.
"Hope your ready to lose Pearl!" Amethyst yelled.
"Theres no way I'm losing to someone like you" Pearl shouted back before Amethyst hits the ball up, to which Kiki hits back into the air.
"Nice one Kiki!" Pearl said as she hits the ball in the ait as Kiki jumps up and shoots the ball down into the enemy side, Jenny misses with Amethyst trying to kick the ball.
"Amethyst no kicking the ball!" Steven called out.
"Ah-psh, what kinda game is this?" Amethyst asked.
"Nicely done Kiki" Pearl said, giving a high five to Kiki.
"Try and stick to the rules Ames!" Trix called out.
"Try harder Jenny" Nanafua cheered.
"Come on guys!" Cats Eye called out as she mutters the next part, "our pizza unbanning is on the line!".
"Here it comes!" Kiki said as she launches the ball, only for Jenny to use the net to hit the ball back.
"Jenny!"
"What? I'm not doing anything?" Jenny said acting innocent.
"My move!" Amethyst said as she jumped and shapeshifted into a giant purple tennis racket, hitting the ball to Pearl and Kiki's side which earned them a point.
"That was uncalled for Amethyst!" Pearl called out.
"What, afraid of getting a little sand in your hair Kiki?" Jenny goated her sister.
"No just trying to keep tidy" Kiki said, brushing off sand from her arms.
"Theres nothing wrong with being tidy" Pearl said.
"Man they are really getting into it" Violet said as she sat on the table nearby.
Soon the teams turns changed, with Kofi and Garnet now against Amethyst and Jenny.
"Our turn" Kofi said as he and Garnet got in their spots on the court before Kofi launched the ball.
"I got this" Jenny said as she was about to hit the ball back when-.
"Jennifer you touch that ball your grounded!" Jenny was quick to move her arms away letting the ball touch the ground before realising what happened as she glared at her father.
"Daddy you cheatin'!"
"Hahaha! The look on your face!" Kofi laughed, actually enjoying this experience as Garnet smirked.
"This going to be easy" Garnet said, now liking their odds.
"It'd be nice if they stuck to the basics" Nanafua commented as Cats Eye bit on her nails in frustration and worry.
"Doh they better not ruin our chances, I don't care what it takes I will get us unbanned, even if it comes to extreme measures!" Cats Eye muttered which Fireball heard.
"What do you mean by extreme measures?" she asked as Cats Eye whispered into the Xeno cats ear, after which the Xeno beast blushed heavily as she stared at her sister in shock, "Y-You'd do That just to eat at their restaurant again?!".
"Like I said, I will do ANYTHING to have their pizza and fish again!" Cats Eye said in a very serious tone.
"Take this Garnet" Amethyst said as she reeled her arm back before swinging it at the volley ball, "Yeeeha!" She shouts as the ball flew high into the sky, however it was for naught as Garnet jumps high into the air and spikes the ball, as it became super heated as it shot downwards back to Amethysts and Jenny's side.
"We should move" Jenny simply said.
"Yeeeeaaah!" Amethyst yelled as they ran out of the way before the ball crashed down, super heating the sand as it became a large chunk of glass.
"Whoa!" Amethyst and Jenny awed at the giant chunk of glass, not expecting that to happen.
"Did you know when super heated, sand can become glass?" Nanafua asked.
"No I didn't" Steven said.
After Garnet removed the chunk of glass off the court, it was changed to be Cats Eye and Fireball against Ben and Omni.
"You sure can handle us wild cats?" Cat's Eye asked with a smirk as Fireball stretched her body out like a cat would do.
"I've faced kittens more wild than you girls" Ben commented before he hits the ball up, which Omni followed with a spike in the air, however Fireball smacks the ball back up to avoid them getting a point as Cats Eye leapt into the air and spiked the ball back, Omni took this chance and slid in before her hand morphed into a yellow three fingered hand with orange coral-like shells before the hand grew gigantic, hitting the ball into the air and surprising the cat girls before Ben leapt into the air and spiked the ball, using the distraction to earn a point.
"Booya! Score for team Tennyson!" Ben cheered as Omni reverts her hand back to normal.
Soon each team change showed each teams members would be using cheats and tactics that was changing the game a lot.
To Pearl using her cloning ability, to Ben and Omni using alien powers, to Kofi using threats against Jenny to make her miss altogether, even Cats Eye and Fireball started to do the same thing by using their tails to redirect the ball or using each other as platforms to get higher hits.
Soon after another game with the ball rolling out of the court the teams started to argue among themselves with Ben, Omni, Cats Eye and Fireball exiting the court to avoid arguing with the Pizza's.
"This is getting out of hand" Nanafua commented as the Pizza family and the gems argued.
Steven sighs as he gets off his chair, "I'll go get the ball" he said as he went to get the ball.
As he neared the corner of the beach to where the ball was, suddenly wind started to pick up as the ball rolled back which confused Steven.
"Wha? Why is it getting so windyyyyyyYYYYY!?" Steven asked before coming from the corner was the Corrupted Watermelon Tourmaline gem, blowing wind and making noise again.
"ITS BACK!" Steven yelled through the wind.
"BUT HOW?! DIDN'T AMETHYST SEND IT PACKING INTO THE OCEAN EARLIER?!" Trix asked as Steven ran back to warn the others.
"Guys! Guys! Puffer Fish Monster's back!" Steven yelled getting their attention, Garnet was first to noticed as the Puffer Fish gem flew into the area, Steven helped Nanafua to get away as they ran to distance themselves from the monster.
"Oh no, Gems! Protect the Pizzas!" Garnet ordered as Pearl, Amethyst and herself grabbed the other Pizza family members and jumped out fo the way from the torrent of wind, Cats Eye and Fireball followed with Ben and Omni standing their ground with Ben choosing an alien.
"Alright then, round 2! Time to show this thing we mean business!" Ben said as he activated his omnitrix and chose an alien before slamming the core down and getting absorbed in green light.
After the light died down he was now atleast 2 stories tall, he now resenmbled a dinosaur with three toed stumpy feet and a large tail, he had hard dark brown scales on his fore arms, hips and hands and spikes on his shoulders, the tail having 4 black spikes and he had the omnitrix symbol on his chest, he had no uniform on.
"HUMUNGOUSAUR" He roared out before charging into the Puffer fish, trying to keep it from attacking more, but the wind was even pushing the giant dino alien back as the Vaxasaurian struggled to get close.
"My god this thing is persistent!" Omni said as she disappeared into Ben's Omnitrix for safety.
With Steven and Nanafua, they were both taking cover behind some rocks as Steven couldn't help but feel responsible for this, "This is all my fault, I wanted to bring everyone together, but now everyone's in danger" Steven said as the Puffer Fish kept blowing air at Humungousaur while also trying to attack the gems who were taking cover.
Nanafua looked at the Puffer fish before giving Steven a smirk, "I'm not afraid of that thing, lets see if you can keep up with me!" she said before running into the danger, with Steven and Trix, both impressed at her bravery before following her.
"Of course I can" Steven said as he ran after Nanafua.
"Hey! Over here!" called out Nanafua as she ran around the Corrupted Gem with Steven following.
"No! No over here!" Steven called out as the two distracted the Puffer Fish.
"Steven? What are you doing?!" Humungousar asked as he regained his footing with the wind off him.
"Everybody! Get ready!" Steven called out as he and Nanafua ran in circles around the puffer fish.
"Mom! You are crazy!" Kofi exclaimed.
"Not crazy, brave" Garnet said with an impressed tone.
"Steven! Lets try and cut those barbs off! Going for Aquaclaw!" Trix exclaimed as he dialed in Stevens Pisciss Volann transformation but didn't activate it until it was time.
"Right!" Steven said before looking to where Amethyst and Jenny were taking cover, "Amethyst! Turn yourself into a ball!" he called out.
"Uh, ok!" Amethyst said before shapeshifting into a large purple ball.
"Jenny! Roll Amethyst to the net and hold on!" Nanafua yelled out.
"Sure thing!" Jenny said as she did as she was told, rolling Amethyst to the volley ball net.
"Pearl! Head over to Jenny and Amethyst!" Nanafua yelled to Pearl.
"Yes Ma'am!" Pearl yelled back before jumping out of her cover and went to the volleyball court.
"Hit Amethyst into the air as hard as you can!" Nanafau ordered as she and Steven kept running around.
"With pleasure" Pearl said with a smirk as she grabbed Amethyst before leaping back for distance and then spiked Amethyst into the air as she flew up high.
"Kiki! Kofi! Get over to the net!" Nanafau ordered.
"Garnet! Spike the beach!" Steven called out as Garnet now got what they were planning.
"I understand!" Garnet said before summoning her gauntlets and jumping high into the air.
With this going on, Steven finally pressed down the core of his Omnitrix and transformed in a green and pink light, turning into Aquaclaw before he leapt onto the Puffer fish and grabbing onto her spikes.
"Lets see hope your spikes can handle my jaws!" Aquaclaw said as he bites into the spikes on the Puffer Fish's back, slicing some off as he kept biting.
Garnet finally reached Amethyst and caught her as they soared high up.
"Be gentle" Amethyst asked.
"I'll try" Garnet replied before she spiked Amethyst down, creating the same scenario as before but on a much bigger scale, as Amethyst became superheated on the way down before crashing, creating a much bigger cluster of glass on the beach.
"Here comes the tricky part!" Nanafua said as she guided the Puffer Fish towards the court with Aquaclaw still biting off its spikes and Humungousar running in to help out.
"Everyone! Take the net to the other side of the court!" Nanafua ordered as they did so with Nanafua running under the net.
"Everyone! Pull the net into its face!" Aquaclaw yelled out as he holds on to the remaining spikes of the puffer fish as everyone pulled the net into the Corrupted Gems face, which made it possible for them to move it into the glass cluster, however they weren't strong enough to push it in deeper.
"Its not enough!" Aquaclaw said before getting an ide as he jumped off the Puffer fish and towards Humungousar, "Ben! Launch me!" He called out.
Humungousaur gained a grin as he liked where this was going, he grabbed onto Aquaclaw and swung him around for extra force, just as Garnet was coming down fast with her gauntlets at the ready.
"LETS SHUT THIS BLOWHOLE UP FOR GOOD!" Humungousar yelled as he threw Aquaclaw with full force, the aquatic Alien flew in the air towards the puffer fish with jaws wide open, which led to him bitting right into one of its eyes while Garnet slammed fist first into the other, pushing it right into the glass cluster, before the horn noise stopped and-
POOF!
The Puffer Fish was finally defeated.
After everyone recovered and Garnet bubbled up two gemstones left behind by the Puffer Fish, it was peaceful once again.
"Thank you for your hospitality" Kofi said.
"And?" Nanafua asked.
"And for saving my family, you are all officially unbanned from my shop" Kofi said, to which Cats Eye screamed in joy as she hugged all the Pizza's at once.
"OH! Thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou!" Cats Eye exclaimed as she was very happy, glad that she and the others were now unbanned from her favourite restaurant in Beach City.
"Thank you so much Kofi, we really appreciate it right guys?" Steven asked as the other gems gave half hearted responses.
"Stil though, that was an awesome Beach Party Steven, you might wanna try and do another one sometime" Ben suggested as Omni appears, still in her revealing one piece but now holding two more revealing bikini's in her hands.
"Oooh yeah! I wanna try all my new bikini's out!" Omni said as Cats Eye could only shiver in delight, she couldn't help but wanna see more of Omni in revealing outfits after today.
HOOOOOOOOOOOOO BOY! This chapter was definitely something interesting.
So yeah first things first, it was kind of a spicy one with giving the gems some interesting beach wear, it was a suggestion from my buddy Blackskull cause, come on this story is rated M i gotta take advantage of that right?
Also Yay more Ben lore dropped! Ben finally explained his reason for being in Stevens Universe and with little peak of an OC I have had for YEARS even before my main OC XL existed.
Anyways let me say now, I'm not a big fan of some of the 5YL Alien designs, XLR8 i don't mind, the mask throws me off a lot though, and Armodrillo, I'm sorry but 5YL massacred my boy! So I gave XLR8 his og mask back and made Armodrillo the Omniverse design.
Speaking of 5YL we got Kleaver now, if you don't know who that is go look in the 5YL wiki and you'll find out, I think he was a good choice for this chapter.
Also if anybody had noticed, yep, Trix has a got a BIIIG Crush on Jenny, don't help that she's got the goods to flaunt if ya know what I mean.
