Wow, took me a while with this one, I was focused on other things. But, after seeing a lot updates recently from other stories, including those from friends, I was inspired. So after a couple of days, I bring you a new episode chapter. I even added two more challenges. I was originally going to just have some members of the Bass pull double duty like I did with the trust episode, but I decided to be creative. I did the best I could. So I hope you all enjoy.

I own none of the content, except for Melissa.

Enjoy.

Melissa was just coming back from her morning run when she heard the sound of a plane engine. It was loud enough for everyone who wasn't already awake, to walk out of the cabins to see what was going on. In the air, Chris was piloting a plane and he soon flew low, low enough for everyone to duck or hit the dirt.

"Okay, where did he get his license?" Courtney asked annoyed.

"Well, it's certainly one way to wake someone up." Melissa said.

Chris smiled as he flew and said," I can't wait to get my pilots license!"

He then accidently crashed into an outhouse. And it revealed that a bear was inside and had a couple of bags of marshmallows with it. Chris then landed the plane and everyone gathered around it, knowing the flyby was due to the fact it was challenge day.

Christ then opened the window, pulled out a megaphone and said," Just flexing your muscles for today's… EXTREME SPORTS CHALLEGE!" Everyone covered their ears, due to how loud it was.

"Ugh… it's too early for this." Gwen said with a groan.

Melissa thought otherwise and said," Early bird gets the worm. So your loss and our opportunity."

"This week, you'll be participating in four challenges. First up, Extreme Sofa Bed Skydiving! Contestants will plummet, uh… skydive to a waiting sofa bed target below." As Chris explained this, a door to the plane opened, which showed Chef with a parachute. He then jumped out and landed on the old, ratty sofa bed below. But it then closed on him and everyone winced, due to hearing the cooks muffled screaming.

"Of course, you'll be skydiving from five thousand feet. And using these." Chris then threw a couple of old parachutes onto the ground. Chris then looked at a list of names. "Our lucky contestants are… Owen and DJ!"

Both Owen and DJ nervously gulped.

"Here's hoping my fat will cushion my fall." Owen hoped.

"Oh boy." DJ whimpered. Melissa placed a hand on his shoulder and said," Don't worry, Deej, you got this. K?"

DJ nodded, feeling his confidence going up, and also feeling something he wasn't sure of. He chalked it up as nerves.

"The second challenge of the day is… Extreme Track & Field Racing!" Chris pointed over to track field and said," Two campers will be running on a straight track. But, you'll be hurdling over electrified hurdles. So if you successfully jump over them, you'll be fine. But if you get electrocuted, you'll lose time. Also, you'll also have to dodge some projectiles. Then you'll have to rope swing. After that, you'll be doing pole vaulting. But instead of a bar, you'll be vaulting through a flaming hoop. The camper with the shortest time will be the winner. And those two are… Courtney and Heather!"

Courtney and Heather both had the same nervous looks as Owen and DJ did.

"May the best one win?" Courtney smiled nervously at Heather.

"Yeah, same." Heather said with equal nervousness.

-Confessional (Melissa)-

"Okay, I love Track and Field. But… I am so glad I don't have to do that." Melissa admitted with relieved sigh. She then realized something." Good luck Courtney, you can do this."

"After that, the third challenge will be… Extreme Rodeo Moose Riding!" Chris said and pointed at a nearby pen, which contained a Moose. "Contestants will rodeo ride the great Canadian Bucking Moose for eight seconds or get hooved into a giant pile of socks from the lost-and-found."

Everyone held their noses in disgust, due to the stench of the socks.

"Ugh, and I thought the locker rooms back home smelled rank." Melissa said with a gag.

"That stink pile ain't nothing but laundry day back home." Leshawna said with a scoff, which showed she wasn't intimated.

"It's your lucky day, Leshawna. You're riding for the Gophers. And Geoff, you'll ride for the Bass."

"All right!" Geoff enthusiastically said with a fist pump.

Owen went up to the Moose's pin and said," He doesn't look too bucky to me. Hi beautiful." Owen greeted.

The Moose's response was to punch Owen in the face with his right foreleg.

"The fourth challenge will be… Extreme Bungee Jumping!" The camera cut to the tall cliff from the first episode. "Contestants will be jumping from the cliff from the first episode. Where they will be gathering paint filled bombs. They will be floating on the water and you'll have a limited time before the bombs explode. You have to defuse them once you make it back at the top. But, you have to be careful; there are some surprises down below. Hehe. You'll have 20 minutes each to get as many bombs as you can. Today's lucky contestants for that are… Melissa and Gwen!"

"Well, I guess I can scratch off Bungee Jumping off my bucket list." Melissa said with a nervous smile.

Gwen laughed nervously and said," Yeah, same."

"And the fifth and final challenge will be… Extreme Sea Doo Waterskiing!" Chris said and pointed to an area that was basically a lake of mud. With various flags and ramps inside the lake itself.

"Contestants will water ski a race course grabbing as many flags as they can, before crossing the finish line. While a member from the opposing team drives the Sea Doo."

"How can we Water-ski without water?" Heather questioned.

"It's really hard. Check it out." Chris aid and pointed to an area.

Chef was shown to be driving a Sea Doo on land. Unfortunately, he soon wiped out and crashed painfully into a tree. This caused everyone to wince.

"Awesome! Harold, you'll ski for the Killer Bass."

"Sweet!" Harold said with a cheer.

"And Lindsay for the Screaming Gophers." Chris said.

"Cool! I can model my new bikini!" Lindsay said as she did a couple of poses.

"Now for the cool swag. Whoever scores the most points from the challenges, gets bragging rights for the night, saves their butts from elimination. And… wins a tricked out Multi Message Mobile Shower!"

Everyone gasped as they saw the shower in question nearby. For added effect, Chef was also playing a harp.

"Wow, it looks awesome." Melissa gasped.

"It really does." Courtney agreed with equal shock.

"It sure does look awesome. Doesn't it." Chris confirmed.

Owen, who was eating a bag of marshmallows scoffed and said," A shower? How 'bout something good?" He said, not impressed.

Heather then got right into Owen's face, with a harsh glare on her face." Listen to me, you marshmallow eating goof! We are going to win that shower if it's the last thing we do, got it?"

Due to fearing Heather's threat, Owen accidently choked on a marshmallow and started to choke. Heather ran away, knowing something would happen to her, if she stayed. Harold slapped Owen on the back, and he hacked out the marshmallow. It sped into the air like a rocket, and managed to hit a still retreating Heather in the back of the head. And she fell to the ground.

Chris then got back into the plane and said," Okay, gang. Chow for breaky, then report back in twenty minutes for… The Extreme Sports Challenge!"

He then took off into the air, while everyone else coughed and gagged from the exhaust fumes from the plane.

Later, everyone was finishing eating breakfast, including Owen, who piled a couple of plates of food. He didn't notice a the piece of paper on the plate. He then scooped the food into his mouth and ate it. he then handed the plate to Chef, who was holding dishes.

Owen then burped and complimented," Sweet grub bro." He then walked away, not knowing he had burped up the paper from earlier.

Chef saw it, picked it up, read it and tossed it to the side. Melissa, Bridgette and Courtney were the ones to see all of this, and Melissa picked it up.

She read it and blinked," Wow, now that is a love letter if I ever saw one."

Courtney read it and said," An incredibly corny Haiku at that."

"Whoa, someone is definitely crushing hard." Bridgette agreed. "I wonder who's it for?"

Both Bridgette and Melissa looked at Courtney, due to her and Duncan being the only official couple on the island.

Courtney blushed and said," No it can't be. I mean, it could be for either of you."

Melissa shrugged and said," I don't know, Court. I mean you and Duncan just became official. Maybe he's showing a different side for you."

Courtney giggled a little, ever since the Boot Camp challenge, things had been going well for her and Duncan. Not to mention the fact he was a good kisser. Besides, she already knew about his sensitive side, unless there was more she didn't know about.

"I suppose. But Geoff is always trying to impress you and get your attention. Remember what happened at the dock yesterday?"

The two girls laughed, while Melissa looked sheepish and said," Yeah, I didn't check which way I had the gear on. I'm just glad Geoff didn't fault me on it."

Both Bridgette and Courtney looked at Melissa with sly smiles. The American blinked at them.

"What?"

"Or maybe, it's for you Mel?" Bridgette said.

Melissa blushed with an embarrassed giggle and said," Me? No way. I mean, I'm not interested in anyone right now."

Courtney smirked and said," I don't know, you and DJ do hang out a lot."

Melissa started to feel her face go hot and said, "Very funny guys. DJ and I are just friends. Besides, I think it could be Geoff, I mean. He has been trying to grab your attention, Bridge."

Hoping to get Melissa see reason later, Bridgette then said," I guess. I mean, Duncan would be the last person to ever do something that sappy. And he doesn't seem to be that type to be that deep."

Courtney raised a brow with crossed arms and said," Oh? And I guess Geoff is the more academically inclined? I bet he wouldn't know the difference between a Sonnet and Haiku? Let alone write one."

Before things could escalate, Melissa got between the two girls and said," Alright, time out. Let's go and ask them who the poem is for. Okay?"

"Okay, but, I bet you both two nights desserts that the poem is for me." Bridgette said.

"Your on, because I know it's for me." Courtney said and they shook hands. They then looked at Melissa.

"What do you say, Mel?" Bridgette asked.

Melissa sighed, as much as she wanted to not get involved. But, her interest was piqued. And if there was a slightest chance that DJ wrote it…

Melissa got out of her thought and said, "Fine, I'm game. But only to prove you two wrong." She said and left the mess hall.

Both girls high fived each other and walked after the American.

Later, Chris and everyone were at the beach, with them getting the sofas out and ready. Duncan was busy lying on the Bass's sofa.

"C'mon, Princess, pop a squat." Duncan said and patted the side.

Courtney wasn't sure if the thing was sanitary or safe. But snuggling next to her boyfriend sounded nice. And also it gave her the chance to see if he wrote the letter.

Courtney snuggled next o him and said," This is nice. Very romantic, like its poetic in a sense, right?"

Duncan shrugged and said," I guess. What would I know? Poetry is for those loser theater geeks. Want to hear about this prank I did on one?"

Courtney wanted to face palm, she looked at Bridgette and Melissa who looked amused.

-Confessional (Courtney)-

"Well, that could've gone better." Courtney said, as she rubbed the back of her neck with an embarrassed expression.

"Now remember! Ground teams wheelie the sofa beds wherever they want in order to help their comrade with the landing." Chris explained, as he sat in the cockpit of the plane.

As Owen and DJ boarded the plane, Melissa walked over to DJ, on the outside, she was calm. But on the inside, she was feeling really nervous.

Melissa tapped DJ on the shoulder, he turned to her, and Melissa was about to ask, but instead said," Good luck up there. And don't worry, you'll be safe and we'll be there with the sofa."

DJ smiled a little and said," Thanks Mel." He then boarded the plane.

Melissa walked back with the others, so the plane can take off.

Bridgette approached Melissa and said," So?"

"I didn't ask, I guess I was nervous. Sorry." Melissa said, as she dropped her head in slight shame.

"Hey, there's no need to apologize. Stuff like this can be nerve-wracking." Bridgette said, and then decided to go for it." Hey, if DJ did write it, and you don't feel the same way. Then you can let him down easy. I'm sure he'll understand."

Before Melissa could say something, Courtney said," C'mon guys, we need to get this things set up. Let's hurry up."

As Melissa and Bridgette went to help the others, Melissa couldn't help but think about DJ. What if he did? And how would she respond?

Ugh, she hated being uncertain and confused.

Meanwhile up in the air, DJ and Owen looked outside from the open door. Like Chris had said, they were high in the air. High enough that they could see the entire island, but not any of their teammates and the target sofas.

"If you could fill these out!" Chris asked as he held some forms.

"But we already signed insurance forms at the beginning of the show!" DJ said.

"Yeah! But these are for organ donations! I have this cool cannibal challenge I wanna pitch to the producers, and this'll go a long way toward budgeting free props!"

That didn't help DJ and Owen's nerves, which made them feel more terrified than before.

"Here comes the drops, boys!" Chris continued.

DJ gulped and then said to Owen," Can you push me?"

Owen nodded and did just that.

"I didn't say now!" DJ screamed as he plummeted in the air.

Owen looked down nervously, but he then had a resolute face. He jumped off a cliff; he could jump out of a plane.

"AAAAAHHHHH!" Owen screamed as he jumped out.

Down below, the girls were pushing their sofa. They then heard screaming and looked up. They all gasped when they saw Owen falling down like a meteor down to earth.

The girls screamed, with Gwen and Leshawna opening the couch. And they all ducked for cover. Owen then came down to earth, but he missed the mattress and crashed into the sand. Due to his size, he kicked up a lot of the sand, and his teammates.

The girls were only thrown a little bit and they all groaned.

Gwen got up and went over to the small crater.

"Owen, are you good?" Gwen asked.

Owen groaned, and then let out a fart.

Heather, who had approached as well, gagged and said," Yeah, he's fine."

Meanwhile with the Bass, they were busy pushing the sofa. Bridgette chose that opportunity to ask Geoff about the letter.

"You know what's really romantic?" She asked the party guy.

"Uh… writing someone's name in the snow with your pee?" Geoff guessed.

Bridgette had a brief look of disgust and then said," Uh, actually I was thinking more of the written word."

"Oooh!" Geoff said with a smile and nod. Bridgette was hopeful for a second, but it was diminished once Geoff said. "You mean like a tattoo? Haha yeah. I've got one on my butt, wanna see?"

Bridgette, along with Courtney and Melissa, the latter gagged, all covered their eyes. So they wouldn't see Geoff take off his pants to show them. Luckily, he didn't get the chance to, due to hearing loud screaming. Everyone looked up, and saw DJ screaming, while also flailing and waving his arms as he drifted down, due to being able to open his parachute.

"Move more to the left!" Melissa barked, and everyone did so. "And… stop and release!" She said and they opened the sofa.

DJ floated down to earth and everyone cheered as he landed on the sofa bed. DJ opened his eyes and looked around. "Everything's still here. Nothing broken?" He sighed in relief.

His relief didn't last long, due to the bed suddenly folding back into a sofa… with DJ inside. Everyone then started to whistle and walk away. Pretending nothing had happened.

Chris flew lower and spoke to everyone with the Megaphone," Gophers lose, Bass win! One-Zero!"

Later, everyone, minus Owen, who was in the Infirmary, was at the Track Field.

"Alright, here's how it goes. One of you will run across the field here. While also jumping over the hurdles, for added bonus, you'll gain 10 seconds every time you get electrocuted by them. Or get hit by Paintballs by Chef." Chef was shown to be operating a big Paintball gun and he waved sinisterly at the Campers. They all gulped, while Courtney and Heather seemed to pale. "After that, you'll rope swing over the water, if you fall in, we'll add 20 seconds. Also the rope will have a little grease. It's less dangerous thing on this particular challenge. Your welcome."

-Confessional (Heather)-

"Oh, I have some other choice words for him, instead of thanking him." Heather said with a glare.

-Confessional (Courtney)-

"Okay, half the time I wonder how any of these challenges are legal." Courtney incredulously said.

"And finally, the fiery pole vault. You'll pole vault through a flaming hoop. So make sure to watch how you go through them. Any questions? Good. Courtney, you're up first."

Courtney looked worried, but Duncan placed a hand on her shoulder and said," You got this, babe. Show those Gophers who's boss." He then kissed her cheek and Courtney blushed.

Melissa and Bridgette shared a knowing look. Yep, Courtney had it bad.

-Confessional (Courtney)-

Courtney sighed with a slightly goofy look and said," So what if he didn't write the dumb letter. He shows how he cares in his own way."

-Confessional (Duncan)-

"Just to set the record straight, I'm showing support for my girl. I ain't going soft or anything. You got that?" Duncan said with a scowl.

Courtney now took a starting stance, waiting for Chris's signal. Chris held up an air horn, he would've used a starting pistol, but after he accidently shot that hawk out of the sky. A lot of animal rights organizations did send a lot of angry emails. So he now had to use an air horn. Or anything else that created a loud sound, that didn't involve any projectiles.

"And go!" Chris said and blew the air horn.

Courtney took off with a sprint and no sooner did she start to run, Chef fired a couple of Paintballs at her. She managed to dodge the first two, but she got hit in the shoulder and yelped in pain. Unfortunately, she ran into one of the hurdles, got electrocuted and let out a curse. Once she got her bearings, she took off again and jumped over a hurdle and barely dodged the next couple of paintballs. She dodged another onslaught, but as she went over the hurdle, her foot hit it and she got shocked again.

She jumped over two more hurdles, with her getting shocked again with the second one. And also got hit by more paintballs. She was already feeling sore, when she got to the rope swing. She took a step back, sprinted and jumped when she got to the ramp. She tried to hold onto the rope as she swung, but due to the grease, she ended up slipping and hit the other side, stomach first. Everyone winced and Courtney groaned, due to getting the wind knocked out of her. Luckily, she didn't slide into the water and then got up and ran to get the pole. Once she got it, she looked at the ring of fire nervously. She took a breath, had a determined look and sprinted. She slapped the pole into the air and screamed as she and the pole went into the air. Courtney made herself small as possible as she went through the ring of fire. She made it through and landed on the matt.

Her team cheered and Duncan let out a breath he didn't know he was holding.

"Alright, good run Courtney. Your time is 1:05.2. But after you got shocked three times your new time is… 1:35.2. Let's see how Heather fairs." Chris said.

Heather got into the start position, Chris used the horn and she took off. She dodged the first couple of paintballs, but when she was about to jump over the first hurdle. She got hit by a couple of paintballs, which made her lose her footing and hit the hurdle. She let out a curse when she got electrocuted and ran again, while dodging paintballs. Due to her ballerina training, she successfully jumped over the hurdles. But Chef nailed her couple of more times, which also caused Heather to get electrocuted again at the last two hurdles. And she let out a string of curses.

Her teammates, minus Lindsay, and the Bass all looked amused at the pain the Queen Bee was receiving.

Once Heather got to the rope swing, she sprinted, jumped and grabbed the rope. And just like Courtney she hit the other side, but she slid down into the water.

"Stupid show, making us…" Heather grumbled as she got out of the water.

Once she made it to the pole, she sprinted and vaulted. She made it through ring of fire and landed on the other side. Her team cheered.

Chris stopped the stopwatch and looked at it and said," Let's see Heather, your time plus the added shocks and falling into the water… 1:45:4. The Bass win this challenge!" The Bass then cheered. "Alright, onto the next one." Chris said.

Once Courtney and Heather got themselves cleaned up, both teams found themselves at the Moose pens.

"Okay, cowpokes! Let's start… the rodeo moose challenge!" Chris announced.

"Rodeo ridin's kinda like surfin'. Once you catch the lip, you just flow with the mojo. Haha." Geoff explained to Bridgette, Courtney and Melissa, as they went over to the pen.

"Yeah. Flow. Kinda like the ancient art of Japanese Haiku?" Bridgette asked.

Geoff looked confused and asked," What's a Haiku?"

Bridgette held back a groan, now knowing that Geoff was not the one to write the poem. It didn't help both Melissa and Courtney was giving her smug looks.

Geoff then climbed up the pen and then got onto the moose. He then realized something and said," Hey Bridge, wanna see that tat?" He then pulled his pants and underwear down and showed Bridgette the tattoo. As well as Melissa and Courtney, who looked disgusted.

"Ugh, dude!" Melissa said as she shielded her eyes.

"Ew! Geoff!" Courtney screamed.

"Definitely not haiku-y." Bridgette said with a blush and a small smirk.

The moose saw this as well and grew even more enraged than it was before. Chef, who was the one to let the moose out, got more nervous after seeing how angry the moose was. He barely opened the gate, when the moose charge out of its pen and trampled Chef. Geoff screamed as the moose bucked him off of him, and he flew into the air.

Chris held a stopwatch, to count Geoff's time and said," And Geoff is-" He didn't have to wait long, due to a screaming Geoff flying over him and landed in the dirty sock pile. "Out?"

Geoff barely emerged from the sock pile, when an enraged Duncan got close to him and said," Next time, don't pull a stunt like that in front of my girl. Or else I will beat the shit of out of you! Got it?"

A scared Geoff nodded, and before he could say anything, Duncan shoved some dirty socks into his mouth.

"Ooo, that stinks big time for Bass! No seriously, that is some rank stuff. Leshawna, let's get!" Chris instructed.

After Chef got the moose back into the pen, Leshawna climbed up on it and held it's antlers for support.

"I hope you got a moose burger recipe handy." She said to Chef, and then patted the moose. Easy, boy. You don't wanna make me mad, now?" She said to the moose, and patted it's head.

Due to what Leshawna said, the moose became even more angry than before. It's eyes went red and fire even came out of his nose.

"Holy mother of-!" Chef fearfully said, and didn't get the chance to open the gate. The moose busted through it, trampled Chef again and took off. All the while Leshawna held on for dear life.

While this happened, Melissa was placating Bridgette and Courtney, due to the two of them arguing and insulting the guys they liked or were dating.

"Look, we'll find out who wrote the letter. The remaining guys are Owen, DJ and Harold. So lets just get through the final challenges. K?"

"Fine, also Mel, you really need to speak to DJ. You chickened out earlier. So there's no backing out now." Bridgette said and Courtney nodded.

Melissa sighed, she wasn't the type to back down or avoid stuff. But talking to DJ about the poem was something she wanted to avoid. Cause in the off-chance…

No, she wasn't going to let fear get her, she was going to ask.

Well, after she survived the challenge though.

Later, the teams were at the base of the cliff, with Melissa and Gwen in their bathing suits. They also had the bungee cords securely fastened on them.

"Alright, the one with the highest count of bombs before the timer runs out. Wins. Melissa you're first."

Melissa gulped, she did the Sign of the Cross and walked over to the edge. DJ walked over to her and said," No worries, Mel. If I can survive jumping out of a plane, you can survive this."

Melissa nodded nervously, and then had an idea." Yeah, maybe they'll write poems about this in the future."

DJ shrugged and said," Possibly."

Before Melissa could probe further, Chris blew the air horn. Melissa took a breath and jumped with a scream. She saw the water approaching fast, and saw one of the bombs with the Bass logo on it. She managed to grab it and once the bungee was extended, she rocketed back up. She made it back to the top, but she didn't have time defuse it, and before she knew it, it exploded in her face.

"Son of a- ah!" Melissa screamed, as she plummeted back down.

"Whoa, I wish I did this challenge. It looks awesome!" Geoff said, but flinched at the look Bridgette gave him.

Melissa grabbed another bomb, while also pressing the off button. As soon as she started to go back up, she gasped in fright. Due to a shark surfacing and clamping his jaws shut. But luckily, she wasn't shark food.

-Confessional (Melissa)-

Melissa was shown to have a shocked expression.

"Okay, I would like to go on record and say… this challenge was fucking nuts." Melissa said.

Melissa tossed the bomb to DJ and she went back down. She grabbed what she thought was a bomb, but in reality, it was mouse trap that was floating in the water. It snapped onto her hand and she screamed in pain.

After she got the dang thing off, she had made it back up, and for a second, she saw DJ. He was giving her a supportive look and smiled at her with a nod. Melissa smiled back, and she then had a resolute look.

She was Melissa Arroyo, she dominated sports. And she was going to win this!

She determinedly did the challenge more seriously. She grabbed as many bombs as she could and defused them. She got covered in paint a couple of times, but that didn't stop her. She even got hit by a couple of traps. But that didn't stop her.

Once it was time, Melissa panted as she stood at the top of the cliff with everyone else. She was disheveled, but smiled at the cheers and congratulations from her team.

"And the final count… 15! Gotta say, Mel. You blew up my expectations. Hehe. Let's see how Gwen can top that." Chris said.

Melissa looked at Gwen and said," Good luck, Gwen."

Even if it was a competition, Melissa wasn't going to stop showing good sportsmanship.

Gwen nodded and said," Thanks, I'll need it."

Gwen gulped as she looked down, and once Chris blew the horn, she jumped down with a scream.

Melissa sat down, feeling tired. She so needed a good shower. She hoped her team will win that shower.

"Man, that was crazy, Mel. I can only imagine what that had been like." DJ said, as he sat down next o her.

"Yeah, so… read any good poems lately? I heard their great for romance?" Melissa asked.

DJ blinked at the question and said," Not recently. That was sorta out of left field. You feeling alright? Need to go to the infirmary?"

Melissa shook her head, both at the question and at Bridgette and Courtney. Who were watching and listening to the exchange.

Melissa internally sighed, so DJ wasn't the writer of the poem. She got her hopes up for nothing.

Just great. What else was going to happen?

She was so engrossed in her thoughts; she didn't see how Gwen was doing. Until Chris blew the horn, which signaled that Gwen's time was up.

"And time!" Melissa looked up to see Gwen, who was just has disheveled as she was. And she even had a mouse trap stuck to her hand.

"And the final count is… 16! Gophers win by one!" Chris declared and the Gophers cheered and the Bass groaned in defeat.

Bridgette saw the look her American friend had and said to her," Cheer up Mel. It's alright. You did great. We still have the final challenge."

"Yeah, what Bridgette said." DJ said.

Melissa nodded as she got up, even though her feelings were haywire, she had to hope the Bass would win the final challenge.

As Melissa and Gwen went to get checked for any injuries and get cleaned up. Chris had everyone get ready for the final challenge.

"While Melissa and Gwen get checked out, the scores are tied. So whoever wins the extreme sea doo water ski challenge… wins invincibility!"

"I'm ready!" A voice said, and everyone saw that Lindsay was now in a green bikini that highlighted the blondes well shaped body. A body that a lot of women would be jealous of and or kill for.

"We are so dead." Heather grumbled. But she then realized something. Unless… I get to drive the wave jumper!"

"Just win the dang shower so I can get my hair did." Leshawna said, as she sat down to rub her foot.

-Confessional (Harold)-

"This is it. We're tied for the win. Bad to the bone Duncan is driving Lindsay. I'm skiing for the Bass. Winning is inevitable. Goodbye wedgies, wet willies, and toilet face plunges. Say hello to-"Harold then placed sunglasses on his face. "Dirty Harold!"

Meanwhile, Bridgette and Courtney were still trying to figure out who wrote the Haiku.

"Okay, so Melissa talked to DJ, and he didn't write it. So that leaves, Harold and Owen." Bridgette said.

"Owen just got out of the infirmary. So we'll get a chance to talk to him. While Harold…" Courtney said.

Before she could finish, both girls heard the confessional door open. They saw Harold with sunglasses on… and he had his pants down. Luckily, he still had his underwear on, and wasn't like how Geoff was earlier.

Harold saw them and said in sly tone." Ladies."

His attempt to impress was broken, due to him losing his balance and falling to the ground. That cemented that Harold wasn't the one to write it.

"Okay… you wanna take Owen? Or should I?" Courtney asked.

Bridgette shrugged and said," I'll do it."

The final challenge soon started, with Harold and Heather being the first ski and drive, respectively.

"You are so out of your league, Alpha Geek." Heather taunted to Harold, knowing full well he wasn't going to win this.

"Here's the road rules… oh wait, there are no rules!" Chris said as he drove past them. "Which means this is gonna be awesome!"

Bridgette approached Owen, who was eating bag of marshmallows.

"Hey Owen, quick question, for if you guys win. Is there a special someone you would shower for?"

Owen scoffed and said," Why would I need to shower? We're in the wild!" Owen said and let out a burp. Unfortunately, he did it in front of Bridgette's face, and she gagged.

"Okay cool." She said and walked away quickly.

"Aaand… go!" Chris said, as he waved a flag to signal for the challenge to start.

Heather revved up the Sea-Doo and took off. Harold didn't have to prepare and ended up getting dragged through the mud. But that didn't stop him from going up a ramp, while also getting the first flag.

"Flag one for Bass!" Chris announced.

"No!" Heather growled and sped up and tried to get Harold to let go.

Surprisingly, no matter what Heather did, Harold held on tight and gathered more flags.

"Five flags and headed home!" Chris announced.

Melissa and the others cheered, with Melissa saying," Good job Harold! Show Regina George what a Geek can do!"

Leshawna laughed and said," Girl that was a good insult." She then held her hand up, and both her and Melissa high fived.

Heather gritted her teeth, due to hearing that, but she was also incredulous, wondering how the Geek was still holding on.

"Heather has to cross the finish line or be disqualified. But when she does, Harold will take five flags to victory for the Killer Bass!" Chris said.

Heather gasped, she saw the finish line and then at Harold, who held all the flags.

-Confessional (Heather)-

"I couldn't let that little dorkwad win. So I decided to cut him loose." Heather said with a smirk.

Heather then turned around, she pulled out a pocket knife, which she was going to use to cut Harold's rope.

"Game over, guppy!" Heather said and was about to cut the rope but…

Heather didn't notice low hanging tree branch. The branch then got caught on Heather's top and proceeded to rip it right off.

Heather realized something was off, and gasped when she saw that her top was off. And she was not topless, with her breasts exposed.

Heather then screamed as she covered her chest.

Harold had a front row seat to all of this, and he gaped in shock, which soon turned into a smile.

He was so distracted, he didn't see the rock approaching and crashed into it. He both ended up letting go of the rope and also the flags. And a now topless Heather crossed the finish line. She even crashed into a rock, and was rocketed into the air to somewhere.

"I don't know what Heather did to make Harold lose his concentration, but it's a total wipeout for the Bass team!" Chris declared.

While the Bass looked on in disappointed, Harold didn't care; he still had an expression of someone who had received the best gift ever. Which for him, it pretty much was.

"Boobies." He happily muttered.

After getting Harold out of the mud, and also resetting the flags. It was now time for Lindsay and Duncan's turn. And Duncan had to do whatever he could to get the blonde to fail. Or else the Bass were going to lose.

"Ready… set… ride it like it's sweeps week! Go!" Chris said as he waved the flag.

Duncan then took off at full speed, and unlike Harold, Lindsay managed to stay upright. When they reached the first ramp, Duncan tried to throw Lindsay off. But to the surprise of Duncan and everyone else, Lindsay held on and got the first flag. While also doing a perfect flip as well.

Duncan then tried to slam his foot into the Sea Doo, in the hopes the shaking would make Lindsay falter. But that didn't work and she ended up getting more flags.

"Flag two… three… four… and five!" Chris announced. "Lindsay has snagged all five and is racing home for the win! Duncan is irked! Has to cross!"

"Says you!" Duncan yelled and then proceeded to let go of the bars of the Sea Doo. In the hopes it would go out of control and cause Lindsay to falter. Unfortunately, Duncan ended up crashing into a rock and flung into the air and landed into a tree. To add insult to injury, Lindsay ended up crossing the finish line and secured the victory for the Gophers.

"She won?" Chris said in disbelief. "Gophers win!"

The Gophers cheered, not only because they won, but also because they got the new shower as well. The Bass slumped down, including Geoff, who still stunk after he got tossed into the dirty socks.

Courtney ran over to boyfriend, who was getting out of the tree.

"Duncan, are you hurt?"

"No, but my pride is. Can't believe I lost to Barbie." Duncan grumbled in annoyance and Courtney giggled a little.

Later, Melissa, Bridgette and Courtney were sitting on a bench. They were still trying to figure out who wrote the poem.

"Maybe we weren't being direct enough? We should've done it in the first place." Melissa suggested.

"Direct about what?" Leshawna, who was wrapped up in a bath towel after taking a shower, asked.

Bridgette showed her the letter, and the sister read it. Chris was nearby and asked," Another note from your secret admirer, Leshawna?"

"Leshawna is the crush girl?" The three Bass girls said in unison.

"Do you three know anyone else with a kick butt attitude? Like mine?" Leshawna gloated and walked away.

"Huh, didn't see that coming." Melissa said.

"Then who wrote the dang poem then?" Courtney wondered aloud and the other two girls shrugged.

Guess some things remained a mystery.

Or did it?

Later that night, the Bass sat at the campfire ceremony. With the exception of Geoff, who due to smelling so bad was sitting in a nearby tree. He wasn't alone, due a skunk being near him, due to liking the bad smell from the party guy.

Melissa felt bad for who she voted for. Even though she was friends, and had a lot of the same interests as him. She couldn't let her personal feelings get in the way.

"As you know, if you do not receive a marshmallow, you will be forced to walk the Dock of Shame, and you will never ever return to camp. Melissa and Courtney, your both safe." Chris said and threw the marshmallows.

Both girls smiled and high-fived each other as they got their marshmallows.

"Bridgette and DJ." The both of them gladly got their marshmallows.

"Geoff! You're safe too!" Chris called out and threw the marshmallow at him.

Geoff caught the marshmallow and yelled back," Muchos, luchos, compadre!"

And with that, the only two who didn't have a marshmallow were Duncan and Harold.

"Two left. Harold, who bailed big for reasons unknown."

-Confessional (Harold)-

"Boobies." Harold happily said, not showing an ounce of regret for losing the challenge.

"And Duncan, who bailed for even bigger. Because Lindsay him circling the drain in a shameless-"

Chris's mocking was cut off by Duncan, who grabbed his collar and said through gritted teeth. "The chick was determined."

"Which is why you're safe." Chris quickly said, feeling frightened by the delinquents threat. Duncan snatched the marshmallow and walked away. Courtney kissed his cheek, happy he wasn't eliminated. "Harold, sorry dude. You're done like dinner.

Harold nodded, accepting his loss. He went over to his teammates, and high-fived them. He then went to Melissa and said," It was nice getting to know you Melissa. You're a good friend and it was nice meeting a fellow geek/nerd. Any chance we can hang out after the show?"

Melissa smiled and said," Same Harold. It was nice to get to know a fellow nerd/geek. And yeah, that sounds good dude." They then high-fived.

After Harold got his stuff, he walked to the dock and before he got onto the boat, he looked at everyone.

"Farwell Total Drama Island! I loved, I lost and I saw boobies! What more could a man ask for?"

"You loved?" Gwen asked confused.

"You're a man?" Leshawna questioned.

"You saw boobies?" Bridgette and Melissa both said with wide eyes.

Harold threw his stuff onto the Boat of Losers, but instead of getting on, he had one more thing to say.

"Leshawna! I meant every word in that poem!"

Leshawna looked shocked and said," Poem? That was from you?"

As Leshawna ran over to Harold, Melissa and everyone else could only look on in shock. Melissa was friends with Harold and they talked about a lot of things. But he never mentioned anything about a crush.

Everyone was left more shocked, when Leshawna and Harold kissed. But it was broken, due to Chef grabbing Harold and putting him on the boat. Leshawna walked away, with the same happy expression as Harold.

-Confessional (Chef)-

"Leshawna and Harold? I was shocked as you." Chef said and then grinned. "But you didn't read the letters. Hehehe, ooh spicy."

Everyone then approached Leshawna, mainly to congratulate her, but Geoff then said," Wait a sec. So, Harold saw your chest?"

"Can we see?" Owen asked.

"Heck no." Leshawna said, and then realized that she never showed Harold her breasts. She then had an angry expression. She ran over to the edge of the dock and yelled," Whose breasts did you see!?"

Harold was too far to either hear or answer her question.

Melissa thought about it for a moment and her eyes widened," Uh guys… I think I know what caused Harold to fail the challenge."

It would explain why Harold looked to be on cloud 9 after his turn.

Leshawna realized what she meant, and her anger was now directed at a certain Asian girl. And that's how everyone saw Leshawna chase down and threatened a towel clad Heather.

"Well, this wasn't how I thought the night would end." Melissa said.

"I hear that." Bridgette agreed.

"Without a doubt." Courtney also agreed.

And thus ended an interesting episode of Total Drama Island.

So how did I do? Melissa has now started to think about DJ differently, not at the level some of you may think, but she's getting there. Next chapter will either be an in-between or 'Brunch of Disgustingness' episode.

Other than that, please leave reviews and fav and follow the story.

Till next time.

DannyPhantom619: Thanks, I think that was the point. TDI was just everyone being themselves. But as time went on, they all changed, due to what happened on the show.
