A/N: Hello, hello, everyone! I'm back!
I hope you all are doing well, because I am doing swimmingly! I have to apologize for just abruptly leaving you guys for a month with no chapters, but I have to explain why I did so.
Firstly, it was my Final Exams for the year from about October 24th to about last week November 23rd. It's just been a full month of constant tests, practical exams and studying the entire time and that is also why I couldn't write anything as these are the most important exams of my year. However, you all will be pleased to know that I aced them!
Off to my third year of Uni!
Now secondly(and this is more of a personal reason), I've been away on vacation with my family ever since I came back home Saturday and I've actually only been on my PC since two or three days ago, I think. Around that much.
And the last reason is also the most important reason for me
. As you all have noticed, the chapters have dropped drastically in quality( for me) and I was feeling burned out. It was supposed to be only a week of me relaxing and then I go back to writing, but then the exams came which made me even more stressed out and I've only actually relaxed ever since I came back from that very much needed vacation.
Now, I'm fully back and this time, I promise that I will make the chapters better in quality than they were before! However, I will also like to make a happy announcement that TWO new stories will be joining the DxD ones.
When? Hopefully before December is over and if not, next year January. One is a Naruto SI story(I know. Overused as shit, but it's been bothering me and so, I wanted to write it) and the other…will be a Fairy Tail SI.
The character for the Naruto one is something I'm still debating between a few characters, but the Fairy Tail character is already decided. Here's a hint: It's just a year before the x791 Grand Magic Games and he's in Fairy Tail.
Another thing to say is that this character will have Dragon Slayer magic, but (a) It won't be his primary magic; just there to boost his overall power and (b) it will be a canon Dragon Slayer Magic & not a fanmade one.
Who he is, you all will have to find and see. Now, that's all from me and once again, I do apologize, but I'm finally here and now, I'm ready to write.
So, without further adieu…let…the chapter… BEGIN!
Huntsmen HQ:
3rd Person POV:
"Have you caught your breath?" Gilgamesh asked the trio who had barged into the meeting, all three nodding slowly before he smiled.
"Good. Now, first, your news." He said as he pointed at Siegfried, who nodded before he spoke.
"A few moments ago, we received a distress call from our spies in the Vatican. When we sent some of our scouts at Rome's borders to try and find out what happened, they informed us that the Vatican outpost was completely destroyed and everyone inside it killed. There was also a note saying that the Exorcist faction had gone rogue and have declared a civil war against both the Church and the Angels for the fact that they signed a peace treaty with their mortal enemies."
"Okay, so it happened as we expected. Next, you." He pointed at Valerie, who nodded as she began speaking.
"At the same time as the distress call from our spies, we received a message from our units in Mt. Meru & Mt. Kailash that they were being attacked right before the call was ended. A few moments after that, we received a personal message from Indra saying that he & Vishnu have declared a full scale war on Shiva, Brahma & their forces and that all Organization personnel should stay out of it or risk a declaration of war on us."
"That doesn't make sense. Vishnu & Brahma are far too peaceful to care for war & Shiva would rather be with his wife and children than worry about fighting Indra in a war." Isaac muttered, all of the captains nodding as Gilgamesh sighed.
"Whatever his reason, it has to be something big for him to want to fight in a war." Gilgamesh said with a frown before he turned to Jeanne.
"Finally, you." Jeanne nodded before she spoke.
"Yes, sir. At the same time at the other two calls, the scouts outside HQ quickly reported that they saw figures dressed in black cloaks walking towards it. When they intercepted them, the figures were revealed to be grim reapers that have brought word from the Conservative Grim Reaper Faction let by the Ultimate-Class Grim Reaper Orcus. This news was that the Progressive Grim Reaper Faction formerly led by Hades, now led by the Executive-class Grim Reaper Pluto & the Militant Grim Reaper faction led by the most powerful Ultimate-Class Grim Reaper Thanatos have declared war on each other. However, Orcus has managed to get both leaders to agree to a ceasefire, but they want Theseus to be there as a neutral party."
"Theseus?" Gilgamesh asked as he turned to Theo, who frowned before he spoke.
"I believe Orcus. He's always been the most reasonable and trustworthy of the three commanders under Uncle Hades. However, Pluto is an avid supporter of Hades and Thanatos the exact opposite. I do not trust either of them to not try and bring an army with them in case peace talks stop for a chance to start the war."
"Then, we'll send an army of our own with you. Theseus, you along with Hassan, Connla, Isaac, Georg, and your respective divisions are to all go to the Underworld and support Theseus in case war breaks out."
"Issei is gonna feel left out, so I'm taking him with me."
"The Red Dragon Emperor? Good, that will give you extra power in terms of discussion and threat level. Next, Georgios, Siegfried, Samson, you three along with Jeanne, Heracles & your respective divisions need to head over to the Vatican & help support them in this war. Chances are Vasco Strada & Eward Cristaldi are helping the rebel forces and despite Dulio Gesualdo and Grisalda Quarta being there, the aforementioned exorcists are known throughout the world as the 'Demons of the Vatican'."
"Of course, commander, and if I may, am I allowed to take my two new students with me? They're former members of the church that could help persuade the exorcists." Georgios asked and Gilgamesh smiled before he nodded.
"Asia Argento & Xenovia Quarta, correct? Yes, you may. While both were excommunicated, they may have some inside intel that we do not possess. Finally, myself along with Cao Cao, Nikola, Holmes, Leonardo, Jack & the rest of the Organization will head over to Mt. Meru & Mt. Kailash & figure out what's actually happening. Hopefully, this is just another minor scuffle between Shiva & Indra that can be wiped under the carpet quickly. Otherwise, we'll need help from the other factions." Gilgamesh sighed, the division captains nodding before he stood up.
"Siegfried, Valerie, Jeanne, send word out to all scouts, spies & hunters all around the world. They are to report back to HQ at the earliest notice." Siegfried saluted before he along with Valerie & Jeanne quickly rushed out of the meeting room and back to the communications centre.
"So, we're finally becoming part of the major business of the world, huh?" Theo asked with a grin, making Gilgamesh chuckle as he nodded.
"Yeah. As of today, the Huntsmen Organization has officially joined the war."
A few hours later:
Home/ HQ, Kuoh Town:
"And yeah, that's basically it. So, you guys want to tag along?" Theo asked Kunou, Yasaka & Rossweisse, smiling sheepishly as all three girls had their arms crossed and raised an eyebrow.
"So, you want us to go with you to the Greek Netherworld…to a meeting with trigger-happy grim reapers & where war can break out at any moment?" Yasaka repeated, making Theo sigh as he scratched his head.
"Yeah, when you put it like that, it makes me sound like an idiot." Theo said with a smile, making her giggle before Rossweisse spoke.
"Theo, you don't have to bring us on every mission you go out on. I mean, once in a while sounds good, but not every single one."
"So…you're okay with sitting this one out?" He asked and both ladies giggled as they nodded.
"Besides, who's protecting Kuoh while you, Issei, Cao Cao, Xenovia & Asia are gone? The devils haven't returned from their little gathering yet." Kunou said with a shrug, making him chuckle as Yasaka rolled her eyes with an amused smile while Rossweisse giggled.
"I suppose that is true. Then, I'll go & prepare and I'll see you ladies later tonight for movie night?"
"And extra ice cream!" Kunou exclaimed, making Theo smile as he nodded before he walked out of the room.
"That bought us like a few days, right?" Yasaka asked Rossweisse with a frown, Rossweisse sighing as she nodded before they both each pulled out a trio of white & purple objects from their pocket dimensions, staring in concern at the six plus symbols shining brightly on the objects.
"So, Kaa-san, when are you guys going to tell him?" Kunou asked, making Yasaka sigh as she just shook her head and they put the pregnancy tests away before standing up.
"Let's not make him stress now. Perhaps after his mission." She said, making Kunou roll her eyes as Rossweisse nodded along with her.
"Baa-chan told me that you would be scared to tell him."
"I'm not scared! Just…just making sure the tests are correct."
"Okay, if you say so." Kunou said with a shrug as she walked out of the room with a smile, Yasaka groaning as Rossweisse rubbed her back soothingly.
"So, when are we telling him?" The Valkyrie asked and the Kyubi just groaned before she sighed and spoke.
"Later tonight. Maybe that'll give him extra incentive to finish the mission early." Yasaka said with a weak smile, making Rossweisse giggle before she spoke.
"If anything, he's just going to blow up the Underworld to get back to us faster." Yasaka giggled at her words before she smiled and nodded, the Valkyrie smiling back before they quickly went back to setting the table for dinner, both determined for what would happen later that night.
Later that day, Night:
Theo's Room:
Theo's POV:
"So, I just put Kunou to bed and she kept mumbling over some secret she couldn't tell me. Do you two know what that's about?" I asked with a smile as I walked into my room only for my smile to wane slightly as I saw my two girlfriends share a concerned glance.
"Okay, that didn't put my worries to rest. Is something wrong? Is it the factions? Did they call? Whose the bastard I have to kill?" I asked worriedly, making them both giggle before Yasaka spoke.
"No, it's nothing that serious, but you may want to sit down for this." She said as she patted the spot on the bed in between the two of them, making me frown as I sat down.
"The fact that you say that makes it sound serious." I said, making her sigh before Rossweisse spoke.
"So, um…how do you feel about babies?" She asked and I raised an eyebrow as Yasaka groaned.
"Well, they're cute, I guess, but what does that have to do with your' problem?"
"Rossweisse, we're supposed to ease him into it." Yasaka muttered and Rossweisse pouted as I just glanced between them in confusion.
"Yes, but I figured it's easier to just…rip of the band-aid and get it over with."
"Wait a second. The talk about babies…there's no way, right?" I asked with a nervous smile, that smile vanishing as they both gave me a weak smile before my eyes widened as a pile of pregnancy tests fell onto the bed in front of us, my eyes focused intently on the plus symbol on all of them.
"Um, yeah. You're going to be a father. Both of us actually."
"I-I'm…I'm going to be a dad?" I muttered in shock and they both nodded.
"A-A dad?" I asked, this time a neutral expression on my face, which worried both of them.
"Y-Yeah." Rossweisse answered nervously and I just looked at the two of them with no expression before a broad smile appeared on my face.
"YEEEEESSSSS!" I cheered, surprising both of them as I quickly flipped to my feet and picked up both of them in a tight hug.
"I'M A DAD! WHOOOO! When did you guys test it? How far along are you? Is there anything I can do? Are you guys tired? Oh crap, I should cancel that mission! I can't leave you guys with our unborn children while there's still a war going on! I know! I'll go and blow up the-!"
"Theo! Calm down!" Yasaka exclaimed, interrupting my excitement and I nodded as I took a few deep breaths before I grinned and she sighed.
"In order, we tested yesterday while you were at the meeting. It's only been a few weeks since we experienced the symptomps. No, there's nothing you can do right now. No, we're not tired and you are not cancelling that mission." Rossweisse said with a stern frown and I pouted.
"B-But I need to be here. With you two." I whined and she rolled her eyes as Yasaka answered.
"We're still able to protect ourselves for now, so why don't you go and finish this war and then you can come back to us & we'll live our peaceful lives with Kunou & Kurama with us?"
"Can't Kurama stay at home?" I asked and Yasaka rolled her eyes.
"No, you two are just going to have to act nice with each other and like it for the sake of the new babies."
"Fine, I guess we can pretend." I muttered with a sigh before I grinned as I laid back down on the bed and pulled them down with me.
"Come on! Mom told me that I took a lot of her energy when she was pregnant with me, so you'll need all the energy you need."
"Are you sure~?" Yasaka muttered with a seductive smirk as she traced a finger down my chest before whining as I pulled her hand back up.
"Yes. First, we see a doctor and then she'll tell us if it's okay to have sex. Until then, no fun time."
"Maybe we should've kept quiet." Yasaka grumbled, Rossweisse giggling as she snuggled into me with a sigh and I chuckled as I gave Yasaka a soft kiss before grinning as I looked up at the ceiling.
I'm going to be a dad.
Looks like this war is ended earlier than expected.
The Next Day:
Huntsmen Organization:
3rd Person POV:
"Woah." Issei, Xenovia & Asia muttered in shock as they stood on a platform along with the lieutenants and the division captains, looking out to see hundreds of thousands of people standing perfectly in line below the platform, all of them dressed in a dark blue bodysuit with golden accents, black baggy pants and matching vest, fingerless black gloves covering their hands and a black trench coat covering their forms with a unique symbol on their coats and a unique mask for the division they were in.
The three lines standing in line with Hassan were those of Division 2, different from the other cloak-wearing divisions as they didn't wear coats and instead wore just a black bodysuit with black gloves and the mask of a grinning clown.
The three lines standing in line with Isaac were from Division 3, a gold book found on their coats and wearing a deep crimson gas mask.
The lines standing in line with Georgios were the members of Division 4, being different from the other division rows as they had white trench coats on with a green heart on their coats and wearing a surgical mask that covered the lower part of their faces.
The rows in line with Nikola were those from Division 5, every single one of them wearing a black coat with a blue lightning bolt on their coat and wearing some sort of mechanical mask.
Those of Division 6 were standing in line with the smiling Holmes, a red flayed man displayed proudly on their coats and wearing creepy demon masks from different religion.
Finally, there were those from Division 7, who had foregone the masks and coats as they were all wearing some sort of hunting outfit made from leather, a dark purple spear painted on their left bicep and wearing the pelt of an animal around their heads and shoulders.
"828 000 soldiers, all from six divisions and ready to go to war. It's a glorious sight, isn't it?" Samson said with a wide grin, the pelt of an abnormally large lion around his shoulders and his face hidden under its mouth. The trio of students could only nod before Issei realized something as he turned to Theo.
"Wait, I only count six divisions. Where's yours?" He asked and Theo chuckled before he snapped his fingers, Issei's eyes widening & both Xenovia and Asia yelping at the hundreds of figures appearing from the shadows.
Each of them wore pitch black hooded cloaks with a crimson dagger on the front of their cloaks that hid their forms from view and pure white featureless masks as they all saluted to Theo, who nodded back before he turned to the shocked Issei.
"My 1000 operatives live in the shadows to hunt the shadows. They do not show themselves unless ordered to or until the time the organization goes on full war-time, at which point I give them the order and mobilize them. When they're not taking part in battle, they're the scouts and spies of the organization."
"And here I thought Division 1 was just you, Issei, Cao Cao & Siegfried." Xenovia muttered, making the two lieutenants chuckle as Cao Cao spoke.
"Believe me, we thought he was the division on his own when we first met him. Imagine our surprise when he told us he had a full army waiting to be deployed on his orders."
"Men, back to scouting." Theo ordered, the new students watching as Division 1 nodded before disappearing in the blink of an eye, making they sigh before they, along with everyone, watched as Gilgamesh walked up to the platform.
"All stand by!" Theo's voice boomed across the massive hall they were in, everyone standing upright with their backs straight & their heads high & the lieutenants stifled their chuckles as Asia, Issei and Xenovia quickly scrambled to follow their lead.
"At ease." Gilgamesh said, everyone saluting before placing their hands behind their back as they all stared at him.
"Ladies & gentlemen, species and beings from all races & religions! I thank you all for answering my call! Truly, this organization would be nothing without the hard work from every single one of you! However, today, I must ask of you to place your lives at risk for the Organization once more! Divisions 1, 2 & 3, you are to follow the lead of Vice Commander Theseus and head to the Greek section of the Underworld, where you will aid him if the possibility of war breaks out! Divisions 4 & 7, you are to head to the Vatican and follow the orders to Division Commander Georgios, where you will extinguish the flames of civil war and unrest currently being fueled by the Exorcist faction! Divisions 5 & 7, you are to escort me to Mt. Kailash to try and quell the war currently being waged by the Hindu King God Indra & the strongest of the Hindu Faction, Shiva! Does everyone understand their orders as I have issued them?!"
"SIR! YES SIR!" The masses, captains & lieutenants shouted in unison, Asia, Xenovia & Issei looked surprised at the unified shout as Gilgamesh nodded.
"For the Greed of the Hunstman is everlasting."
"And the blood of our quarry is ever-flowing." The Organization spoke in unison as they finished Gilgamesh' words, making him smile before he nodded as a series of golden portals appeared in front of each division as well as the captains on the platforms.
"I'll see you all when this mission is over." Gilgamesh said with a smile, everyone on the platform nodding before he walked through his portal.
"Well then, we better go before the Supreme Commander pulls us through. See you all in a few days." Cao Cao said with a wink and a nod, Theo giving him a nod as the Longinus wielder walked through the portal.
"Don't worry. Leo-boy & I'll protect the pretty boy for you, Theo." Jack said with a grin and Theo chuckled as he smiled and nodded.
"I'd appreciate that, Jacky." Theo said with a smile, smirking as Leo just gave him a nod and a thumbs-up before walking through the portal, Jack skipping after him as Holmes pulled a giggling Tesla through, who was far too busy writing up new technology to create to worry about anything else right before the portal closed behind them.
"To battle we ride, my friends!" Samson declared with a grin, Heracles grinning along with him as Georgios & Siegfried sighed while Jeanne, Asia & Xenovia giggled.
"God give me strength." Georgios muttered silently before he walked through their portal, Samson nodding at the other captains before he, Jeanne and Heracles followed after him.
"You two keep each other safe, okay?" Issei said as he hugged both Xenovia and Asia, making them smile as they nodded.
"Don't worry. They'll be returned as perfect as they left. You have my word." Siegfried said with a smile before chuckling as Valerie appeared from his shadow and hugged an arm.
"And mine. We'll keep your girlfriends safe."
"G-Girlfriends?!" Asia squeaked, making Valerie giggle as Xenovia sighed before the four walked through the portal and it closed behind them.
"So, everyone ready for battle?" Theo asked his group with a smirk, Hassan chuckling as Isaac grinned.
"We were born ready, dear Theseus. Let us go to battle once more." Georg and Connla nodded at Isaac's words and Theo smiled before he turned to Issei, who just gave him a determined frown and nod.
"Good to see you've grown up to be this confident." He said with a smile, Issei giving a small one back before the god turned to the portal and walked through, the rest of his group following him before the portal closed behind them.

A three-point war against the Exorcists, Hindu Faction and the Grim Reapers!
