With Gilgamesh:
Mt. Kailash:
3rd Person POV:
"Halt, trespassers!" A voice shouted at Gilgamesh as soon as he walked through his portals, making him raise an eyebrow as he looked to the front to see a masked guard standing in front of him along with a large platoon of guards standing and flying behind the guard.
"Apologies for my unannounced entry, warriors. I simply wish to speak with Shiva on an urgent matter."
"State your name!" The guard shouted at Gilgamesh and he just raised an eyebrow before he snapped his fingers and spread his arms wide, the guard's shock and hesitance visible to his eyes as a series of giant golden portals appeared behind him before his entourage along with their respective divisions walked through them.
"My name is Gilgamesh, the King of Heroes and Supreme Commander of the Huntsmen Organization. Now, please lead me to Shiva."
"L-Lord Shiva is currently indisposed as he speaks with his wife. H-However, Lord Kartikeya is leading in his absence." The guard stuttered out and the Commander nodded before he turned to his forces.
"Division Captains, Lieutenants, follow me to meet with Lord Kartikeya! Divisions, stand by and stay alert for any danger!"
"Yes, Commander!" The divisions chorused, Gilgamesh smiling as he nodded before he turned to the nervous guard.
"P-Please, follow me, Lord Gilgamesh." The guard spoke and Gilgamesh nodded before he followed after him, with the other captains and lieutenants following him.
"Yeah, they're definitely preparing for a full-scale war." Nikola muttered softly to the others as the man was uncharacteristically calm and silent, his frown deepening as he stared at the weapons and soldiers around them.
"Hopefully, we can stop it before it actually begins. There's a reason no one wants to wage war with the strongest pantheon of the modern era with how much devastation they could bring with them, especially if four of the strongest beings in existence bar the Dragon God and the True Dragon are leading this war." Holmes muttered and Nikola nodded, Cao Cao walking slowly while using the True Longinus as a walking staff as Jack and Leonardo walked alongside him.
"Prepare?" Leonardo whispered to Cao Cao and Jack, both men frowning at each other before Cao Cao nodded.
"Prepare." He answered, Leonardo nodding before his eyes went glassy as he tuned the world out, Cao Cao knowing that right now the boy was doing nothing but scanning the weakness of everyone he saw before creating the schematics of a monster needed to take them down. He also smirked as he heard Jack humming his signature tune under his breath, knowing that the sadist was ready to unleash Maria the Ripper at a moment's notice.
After minutes of climbing up the mountain, they finally made it to the golden castle at the top, Cao Cao noting how it didn't shine that brightly even with the sun burning brightly above it, putting it to being just a bit of light absorption magic before the guard nodded at the two giants standing on both sides of the castle's front entrance.
"Lord Gilgamesh and his entourage here to see Lord Kartikeya." The masked guard that led them here announced, Cao Cao smirking at how the giants' eyes widened at Gilgamesh's name before they turned and pushed against the doors, the ground shaking with each step as they slowly opened the doors.
"I am unfortunately needed at the front gates, but I wish you luck, Lord Gilgamesh." Gilgamesh smiled and nodded at the masked man, watching as he turned and walked back down the mountain before he turned and walked into the castle with the others following him.
"Is that blonde hair Gilgamesh I see walking towards me? By my father it is!" A very tall golden humanoid figure exclaimed with a grin as he walked over to Gilgamesh, the man in question chuckling as the behemoth of a man picked him up in a tight hug while all six of his heads smiled brightly.
"Kartikeya! It's good to see you, my friend! How long has it been?"
"Six decades, which reminds me. You still owe me that ruby we stole from Lakshmi."
"Uh, hehe, I may have lost that a decade or two ago." The blonde man said with a sheepish smile, the captains and lieutenants still shocked silent at the happiness and excitement their Commander showed before a soft female voice echoed throughout the entrance hall.
"Is that little Gil I hear?" The entourage turned before the captains and lieutenants was stunned silent by the smiling beauty walking towards them.
Her hair was luscious, long and black, making it seem as if an ever-lasting abyss had decided to take residence on her head as a gold crown with sapphires studded onto it sat proudly on her head. A silver necklace with the letter "P" hung from a silver chain around her neck and pristine, crystal clear sapphires were studded onto the "P". Gold bracelets glimmered on her wrist and she was dressed in an outfit that appeared to made of the finest satin and silk.
"Lady Parvati, as beautiful as always." Gilgamesh said with a smile as he bowed, Parvati just rolling her eyes in amusement as she laid a soft kiss on his cheek.
'Okay, so no flirting with the wife of the strongest being alive. Got it.'
"Why do I feel the presence of a certain blonde idiot?" A teenage voice asked in amusement and everyone apart from Gilgamesh, Parvati and Kartikeya froze in place as an oppressive aura flooded the room and pinned them to their spot.
It felt as if an ancient eldritch beast had decided to finally wake up from its slumber and was just walking around with its aura out in full brunt, not caring for the ants that could not handle it.
"Ah, apologies, children. I did not know I would be having visitors, so I've been letting my aura run wild." Shiva said with a smile as he walked down the stairs of his castle, having taken the form of a young handsome man with shiny blue-black hair, sharp eyes that shone with a kaleidoscope of colours and dressed in nothing more than a simple pair of baggy white pants.
"It's not a problem, Lord Shiva. As the guest, I should have informed you of our arrival."
"Let's just agree to disagree before we start arguing about who should apologize and we both know that's going to take a while." Shiva said with a small smile, Gilgamesh chuckling as he nodded before the god smirked.
"I can already tell why you're here, so Parvati love, I'm going to have to move our tea time to later today if that's okay with you?" "It's of no concern, my love. Handle your business and I will be waiting for you with your favourite cup of chai." Shiva smiled as he nodded, Parvati smiling at Gilgamesh and nodding at the entourage of humans before she walked back up the stairs
. "I'll go and make sure that the warriors are preparing correctly." Kartikeya said to his father, who nodded before the golden man gave the humans a final nod and walked out of the castle, the giant door guards nodding at Shiva as they closed the front door.
"Come on, then. My study room should have sufficient room for all of us to sit down, so that we can discuss this war." Shiva said to Gilgamesh and the Commander nodded before Shiva walked away, Gilgamesh gesturing for everyone to follow him as they made their way down the hallway to the right and towards a room.
"So, I'm certain you wish to know if this whole thing is a farce, correct?" Shiva began after everyone was seated at the long table in his study, Jack and Leonardo more focused on how comfortable the chairs were as the others nodded.
"Indeed. You are known throughout the supernatural world as a family man that would not bother with such things and would rather just relax for as long as you can. That's not to mention the fact that Vishnu and Brahma, the two pacifists of the Hindu Pantheon, were also partaking in this war, which no one saw coming." Holmes said with a frown and Shiva smiled as he shook his head.
"You won't have to worry about Vishnu and Brahma. They will not be fighting and will only be there to make sure that no innocent blood is spilled. The battle is purely between Indra, myself and our forces."
"And what was the reason for someone as peaceful as you to declare war on Indra?" Gilgamesh asked and Shiva sighed as a sombre yet rageful look appeared in his eyes.
"Indra killed Ganesha, Gil. He killed my beloved son in cold blood and sent the pieces back to this palace to mock me."
"…Oh." Was all Gilgamesh could mutter he along with the others were shocked silent.
'Well, this just got far more fucking complicated already.'

In Rome:
Walking out of the golden portals of the commander along with the army under his command and his entourage, Georgios could only smile as he looked at the Vatican in front of him, taking a deep breath as Asia and Xenovia smiled in nostalgia at their former homes.
"Stop, intruders! State your name now!" Georgios blinked at the shouting, turning his head before his eyes widened slightly at the men dressed in the garb of the Crusaders standing in front of their group with holy spears aimed at them, not missing the man dressed in heavy white armour and a halberd & tower shield grasped tightly in his hands as well as the armoured person standing next to them that was wearing light blue and gold armour and had a Holy Sword sheathed to their side that was leaking intense amounts of Holy Energy.
'They brought back the Crusaders, the Inquisitors and the Paladins?! Oh, this is worse than I feared.'
"Good afternoon, everyone. My name is Saint Georgios, also known as Saint George the Dragon Slayer." The group of Crusaders were shocked silent, but the Inquisitor and Paladin didn't appear to have bought his story.
"Prove it." The Paladin said and Georgios smiled as he nodded, unsheathing Ascalon before holding it to them.
"This is the Dragon Slayer Ascalon as you can see." He said as he slowly turned and twisted the sword for them for a few minutes before sheathing it back, smiling at the amazed look on the Inquisitor's face before the Paladin spoke, Georgios catching the hints of relief and shock in his tone.
"Saint Georgios, it's an honour to meet one of the most powerful warriors in our church's history, even if it is simply a reincarnation of you."
"The pleasure is all mine, young Paladin. To be truthful, I did not expect the Crusaders let alone to the Inquisitors and the Paladins to be brought back to service."
"We did not either, but it is quite the honour to work in the same faction that you and the great Roland were in. I assume these are the people you work with?" The Paladin asked as he glanced at the group of captains and lieutenants before he stopped as soon as he caught sight of Xenovia and Asia, who quickly noted that they were being looked at.
"The Holy Priestess and the Wrath of the Vatican. I see that you two have found new homes for yourself."
"Indeed." Xenovia said with a nod, Asia smiling shyly at the Paladin who sighed as they nodded.
"A thousand apologies to the both of you for your excommunication, but at the time, tensions were high because of a potential war breaking out and the church couldn't let any confidential news of our Lord's demise get out."
"Oh, we understand, but that doesn't mean we're coming back now. We found a very suitable husband to marry and have children with." Xenovia said with a happy smile, missing Asia's bright red face, the sighs from her group as well as the looks of shock and amusement the Crusaders and Inquisitor were giving her.
"Oh? So, my lovely adopted daughter has managed to find a man powerful enough to calm her, has she?" A soft female asked with a hint of amusement, though only Xenovia and those affiliated with the church noted the hint of steel in her voice. Xenovia's eyes widened as she heard the voice, looking past the group in front of them to see a beautiful woman with blue eyes walking towards them, her curvaceous body and blonde hair hidden by her nun outfit, but there was no missing the dangerous smile on her face as she stared at her adopted daughter.
"A-Ah, h-h-h-hello, m-m-mother." Xenovia stuttered out, drawing a look of shock from Asia as she has never seen the girl that scared, but Griselda just smiled before she turned to Georgios.
"We were informed by Lord Michael that help would be coming, but we did not expect this…much." She said as she looked past the group of captains & lieutenants, staring at the large battalions of soldiers behind them and Georgios just smiled as he nodded.
"They, along with us, are here to stop this civil war and make sure that no blood is spilt. Now, if you would, please lead us to your leaders so that we can discuss the inner workings of this civil war?"
"Of course. Please, follow me." She said as she turned and walked, Georgios nodding before he turned to the division soldiers.
"Men, until I return, Division 7 are to scatter all around the Vatican and help those guarding its entrances! Division 4, head over to the medical tents and help where needed!" "Yes, sir!" The Divisions exclaimed before they went to follow their orders, Georgios smiling before turning to his entourage.
"We're not ones for talks, so we're going to go and help out with the guarding." Samson said, Heracles nodding along with his words and Georgios smiled as he nodded, letting the two men walk away.
"I'll go and help with the healing." Asia said and Georgios smiled as he nodded, Xenovia tagging along as she wanted any excuse to not follow Griselda, who noticed the nervous girl quickly rushing away and narrowing her eyes, while Valerie gave the blushing Siegfried a quick kiss on the cheek and followed after to help, his embarassed glare drawing a snicker from Heracles and a giggle from Jeanne.
"Now, let us go and meet their leaders." Georgios said to Siegfried and Jeanne with a smile, the two nodding before they turned and followed Griselda, who started walking after watching Xenovia leave with Asia.
At the same time:
Netherworld, Greek Underworld:
"Whew! That's always a bit flashy for my taste." Theo said with a shake of his head as he walked out of the portal, Issei nodding along with him as the Boosted Gear wielder blinked a few times to get the flashing lights out of his vision.
"You're just saying that because you wanted to make your very own flashy entrance." Isaac said with a sigh, Theo grumbling at his plan being called out as Hassan shook his head.
"Okay, so what now?" Hassan asked and Theo shrugged as he looked around, squinting his eyes before he smirked as he saw a group of Grim Reapers floating towards them, more specifically the small Grim Reaper floating at the very front of the group.
"Heyo, Theo~!" A cute pale girl exclaimed as she landed on the ground in front of the army, her long dark-purple hair hanging behind her and sleepy golden eyes staring at Theo in happiness.
"Hello, Bennia. What are you doing so far away from your father?" Theo asked the Grim Reaper/ human hybrid and the girl giggled as she shrugged.
"Daddy was busy trying to keep Uncle Thanatos and Uncle Pluto from killing each other, so I volunteered to come and get you guys."
"They were throwing curses at you again, weren't you?" Theo muttered with a frown, the happy girl just smiling as she nodded.
"Come on. I would like to know why two Grim Reapers are fighting over something that isn't theirs." Theo said with a frown, Bennia blinking at his words before her eyes widened as she caught sight of the black crown on the back of his hand, the god smiling at her as she looked up at him in shock and excitement.
"No way." She muttered, Theo just chuckling before he turned to his group.
"All right! Listen up, people! Right now, you're all in enemy territory! That means that everyone you see that isn't a part of our group, except for the goofy little idiot here, is an enemy! Do not fall for their taunts, jeers or attempts to scare you, but if they truly try to attack you, you have my permission to slaughter with extreme prejudice. Do you all understand?!"
"Yes, sir!" The group chorused, Theo nodding before he turned to Bennia.
"Go on, then. Escort me to your father."
"Sure thing!" The cute Grim Reaper exclaimed as she started walking back to the capital of Hades' Netherworld, the Grim Reaper group that was escorting her floating back to inform her father of Theo's arrival while Theo and his group followed the Grim Reaper in front of them.
A few minutes later, the entourage of Theo were treated to the sight of a city made out of bones standing proudly in front of them, noting how Grim Reapers of all shapes and sizes floated in the air above and around the city before they all turned their heads in unison as Theo unleashed his presence.
In an instant, all of the Grim Reapers were kneeling on the ground, Theo frowning before he grunted as blue flames appeared as a cape around his shoulders, with black flames wrapping around his neck like a scarf.
"I, Theseus, God of the Rivers of Hades and heir to the throne to the Netherworld, have come here, because I received news that there are those that refute my claim. Come fortj now!" His voice boomed across the landscape, those of Organization surprised to hear his words before the kneeling Reapers made two pathways as two of them stood up and started walking towards Theo.
The one on the left was the taller of the two, being nearly a head above Theo. A skull mask hid its skeletal head from view and an exquisitely decorated cloak adorned its body, gold chains attached to the top of a large silver scythe and rattling with each step that the Reaper took.
The one on the right however was the menacing of the two, dressed in a robe so black that it looked as if it was actively absorbing any light around it. Numerous ornaments decorated its body and a creepy mask of a grinning clown covered its face. Its scythe fitted the crazy, menacing look it was going for as both blade and staff was pitch black, deteriorating hands and tentacles that looked as if they were freshly cut off wrapping around the scythe and pulsing actively.
Both Grim Reapers had a presence to them that made the others tremble as soon as they walked past them, Theo frowning as he felt their auras trying to push against his own.
"If it isn't the Heir. Oh, how wonderful for you to grace us with your presence." The one with the clown mask said sarcastically with a mocking bow, stiffening in place as Theo's aura pressed into them.
"I have little time for your games, Pluto. Do not test my patience."
"Of course, Theseus." Pluto muttered and Theo just looked away from him to stare at the tall Grim Reaper, who scoffed at his stare before a deep voice came from under its mask.
"Do not expect me to bow before you like this idiot. I was not under Hades' command and I will not be under yours."
"And you saw Uncle's death as a reason to try and become the King, Thanatos?"
"Yes, because unlike you and your traitorous uncle, I actually care for the balance of souls in the Netherworld. You two only care for the world above." Thanatos snarled and Theo's eyes narrowed before he sighed as he pulled his aura back in & spoke.
"Listen, Thanatos. I didn't come here to fight. Right now, we need all the help we can get against the Khaos Brigade. This little rebellion of yours isn't going to help anyone. In fact, it's just going to make us weaker against the true enemy."
"Well, then you should have thought of a way to take me down before you came here. Right now, you have two options. The first is you hand over ownership of the Netherworld to me and stay out as I bring it to new heights or you decline and I declare war on you and your forces."
"We both know I'm not handing over ownership of the Netherworld to you, not when there's a chance of you betraying us to join your parents." Theo said with a frown and Thanatos nodded before he spoke.
"Then I'm afraid that I have no choice. I'll see you on the battlefield, Theseus." And before Theseus could leap forward, Thanatos sunk into his shadow and disappeared, a large group of the Grim Reapers sinking into their shadows as well.
"So…how bad is this?" Issei asked Theo, who sighed before he shook his head.
"Apocalyptic levels of bad. Hassan! Isaac! I want information on everything your division has and what they can do!"
"Will do, Theseus!" Isaac, Hassan & their respective lieutenants saluted before they turned to their division, Theo already gone as he turned to Pluto and smiled at the two new Grim Reapers that walked up to the front & stood next to him.
"Orcus, Zeno, it's good to see the two of you." Both Grim Reapers nodded at his words, their cloaks a lot darker than the other Grim Reapers though not as dark as Pluto's as Orcus' skull was visible and Zeno had a hood to cover his.
"It's good to see you two, but I'm afraid we have more urgent issues to deal with. What do you need from us?" Orcus asked and Theo frowned before he spoke.
"Orcus, I want you to find every weakness of Thanatos that you can find as well as how many soldiers he have under his command & what their ranks are. Pluto, I want information on how many Grim Reapers there are under our command."
"Will do./ Easily done." Orcus and Pluto said respectively before they disappeared, Theo turning to Zeno before the Grim Reaper cut him off.
"Before you speak, I have something, or I should say, some people that would be able to help us."
"And they are?" Theo asked with a raised eyebrow before he was shocked at the next sentence coming out of Zeno's mouths.
"Lord Hades had artificially created Super Devils. They are now under your command."
'Uncle…you fucking suck.'
A/N: And here we are with another chapter done
Next chapter, more talking before all hell breaks loose!
I know that people are going to complain about the Super Devils and that this will be another easy win for Theo, but don't worry! I will make sure to even out the power of both sides of the war.
Now, as always, read, enjoy, review and until the next one...
Ba-Bye~!
