Summary: It's Stu and Didi's turn to host the Pickles Family Reunion and Tommy is elated for his friends that they'll get to meet his cousins for the first time. Once all the cousins arrive, how will things play out on the weekend of the Family Reunion? Read and find out!

It was a beautiful sunny day in Yucaipa, California at the Pickles residence. The Rugrats all arrived at Tommy and Dil's house for their usual playdate. Didi was just about to do some chores when suddenly, the telephone rang, and she answered it.
"Hello" answered Didi.
"Hi Didi, this is Dottie" she replied.
"Oh hello! How have you been?" asked Didi.
"I'm good" replied Dottie. "I just called to remind you that it's you and Stu's turn to host the family reunion and that everyone will be coming to your house this weekend"
"Oh-no, I forgot that it's our turn to host the family reunion this year!" exclaimed Didi. "Thanks for reminding me, Dottie"
"No problem Didi" replied Dottie. "Looking forward to seeing You and your family again. See you this weekend Didi"
The call then ended just as Stu came upstairs from the basement.
"What's up Deed?" asked Stu.
"Stu, we need to get the house cleaned up" said Didi.
"Why do we need to clean up?" asked Stu.
"We're supposed to be hosting the family reunion this year and everyone is coming this weekend" said Didi.
"Oh-no, I forgot we had to host the family reunion" Stu groaned.
"I'll clean up the house, you can get everything else ready" said Didi.
"Alright, no problem, Deed" replied Stu.
And with that, Stu and Didi were off getting things ready for the Pickles Family Reunion planned for the weekend. Meanwhile, the Rugrats overheard the whole conversation and Tommy was elated.
"Wow! Did you guys hear that? It's my mommy and daddy's turn to do the family reunion this time!" said Tommy excitedly. "I'll gets to see my cousins again"
"Um, what's a family union Tommy?" asked Dil.
"Yeah, and what cousins? I thought Angelica was your cousin. And we now know that Angelica has her evil cousin Anthony," said Kimi.
"Also, when did you go and see them acause (because) I don't remember?" asked Chuckie.
"We don't remembers either" added Phil and Lil in unison.
"It's reunion Dilly, and it's when your family that lives in other places of the world come to your house. I wents with my mommy and daddy along with Uncle Drew, Angelica and Grandpa. This was afore (before) Dilly was born and we mets Kimi, Zack, Jesse, Savannah and Zoey. Don't you remember guys, when I was gones for that long weekend?" explained Tommy.
"Oh yeah, I remembers" said Chuckie as Tommy nodded.
"When we wents to the family reunion we roded on a train and that was the firstest time I've been on a train. We were on the train for a long time until we finally gotted there. When we gotted there my daddy and uncle Drew couldn't find Grandpa so while me, my mommy and Angelica waited outside of the train they wents and lookeded (looked) for Grandpa. After that's the train started to leaves and my daddy and uncle had to jump off the train while Grandpa went to this place called Chickago (Chicago) "Tommy explained.
"So your grandpa didn't goes to the family reunion?" asked Jesse.
"No he dids but he didn't comes until later. Anyways after my daddy and uncle jumped off the train thats when me and Angelica met our Uncle Hugh and Aunt Dottie as they tookeded (took) us to their house, which was a farm. That's when Angelica decided to make up another one of her stories and tolded me that a family reunion was when our mommy and daddies bring us to the reunion and we were going to gets taken home with another family but that didn't happen" explained Tommy.
"Hmmm, I could have guessed that one of Angelica's past lies would appear at some point" Zack chimed in.
"Yeah. But what happened next after that Tommy?" asked Dil.
"Well after that my mommy tookeded (took) me and Angelica to this playpen behind a barn at Aunt Dottie and Uncle Hugh's place and that's when I metted my other cousin's asides (besides) Angelica. There was Timmy-Ray, Tony, Tammy-Faye and Emmet. Emmet is biggererer (bigger) than Angelica. After that I tolded them Angelica's story about the family reunion as they didn't knows what it was eithers. After that, that's when a bunch of grownups came in and was hugging and kissing us and stuffs which made us wants to find our real mommies and daddies, so we had Emmet open the door for us" explained Tommy.
"Wait what happened to Angelica?" asked Savannah.
"Oh right I forgot, she fooleded (fooled) her daddy by saying we were being means and her daddy let her goes with him," said Tommy.
"Oh" went Dil and Savannah in unison
"That's an outright little white lie there," said Zack.
"Yep, but after Emmet opened the door we wents to looks for our parents but couldn't finds them but I noticed the sunflower seeds my daddy was eating so we followed thems through the barns and stuffs. That's when a goat brokeded (broke) the fence and lets all the animals loose as they were running around. When we finally found our mommies and daddies our actual mommies and daddies pickeded (picked) us up not anyone else. That's when I figured outs that Angelica was lying like she used to" explained Tommy.
"It doesn't surprise me," said Zack.
"Yeah, me too" replied Tommy.
"Will we get to meet your cousins?" asked Jesse.
Yeah, the family reunion is going to be here so I'm sure you'll get to meet them" replied Tommy.
"Cool!" said Phil and Lil in unison.
"Wow I cant wait to meet our cousins! I'm glad we have nicer cousins than that yucky bully that Angelica gots" said Dil.
"I can't wait to see them again" replied Tommy.
"Hey Tommy let me ask you this, are your cousins alot friendlier than Angelica's evil cousin we met a whole bunch of yesterday's on that big ship?" asked Chuckie.
"Oh yeah. They're the nicest cousins of mine you'll want to meet and be friends with than Anthony. So we gots nothing to worry about" replied Tommy.
"Few, that's a relief" said Chuckie as he breathed a collective sigh of relief.
"You know, this family reunion that your family is having would be a perfect chance for Angelica to say sorry to your cousins for messing with them with her lies" Kimi chimed in.
"I think that's a good idea Kimi." replied Chuckie.
"Yeah, with Angelica having a bestest friend like Zoey by her side for support and being nice to us I thinks Tommy's cousins will forgive Angelica like we did," said Phil.
"Yeah. But I am curious. I wonder how Tommy's cousins will react to Angelica not being so mean and a bully no mores" Lil wondered.
"That is a good question that deserves an answer Lil. Either they'll believe it seeing as they are part of the Pickles family, or they'll think it's a little white lie and not believe her. Either way I think we ought to let it play out and hope for the bestest. For all we knows right now they'd probably be more forgiving than Angelica's evil cousin Anthony could when you guys tolded us that story of your cruise bacation (vacation) adventure and how everything played out." said Jesse.
"Hmmm, thinks I know how we can make that happen guys," said Tommy.
"How will we do it Bro?" asked Dil.
"Well, the firstest thing to do is have my cousins meet all of you firstest and they'll get to know you firstest. We'll talk and tell them that wild story of everything that happened on that big ship," said Tommy.
"I take it that you want to get your cousins all warmed up and ready for Angelica's apology, at the right time, right?" asked Zack.
"Uh-huh" replied Tommy.
"Cool idea Tommy," said Kimi.
"But it won't stop there," said Tommy. "After we babies that were on the cruise tell my cousins what happened, we let what we saided (said) sinks into my cousin's minds and see where we'll go from there as far as Angelica herself saying sorry to them for lying"
"Oh, I gets it, we'll be there for support and backs her up if she needs it huh?" asked Dil.
"Uh-huh" replied Tommy.
"That just might work like it did with Zack, Jesse and Me," said Savannah.
"We'll have to get Angelica and Zoey in on Tommy's plan and the Family Reunion this weekend though," said Chuckie.
The others nodded in agreement. Meanwhile, Didi was getting the house spick and span for the Family Reunion and Stu was just going over his list of supplies to get for the occasion when suddenly, the doorbell rang.
"I'll get it. I'm headed out anyway," said Stu.
"Thanks honey" replied Didi.
Stu answered the door and saw Drew, Angelica and Zoey waiting there.
"Hey big bro" Stu greeted.
"Hey little bro" replied Drew. "Where are you off to in such a hurry?"
"Oh, the wife and I must get ready to host the Family Reunion at our place this weekend" replied Stu.
"I take it that you might have forgotten and that preparations for the Reunion are underway huh?" said Drew.
"You could say that?" replied Stu.
"Well, I won't hold you up. If it will help, I'll call pop to let him know and to join us this weekend before I head off to work," said Drew.
"Thanks Bro" replied Stu as Drew turned to the girls.
"Be good you two," said Drew.
"We will" replied Angelica and Zoey.
And as the girls went inside to join their friends, Stu closed the front door behind them and drove off to do some errands and Drew made his call to Lou and informed him of the Family Reunion taking place that weekend before driving off to work.
"Hi Everyone," said Zoey.
"Hi ya smart babies," said Angelica.
"Hi" replied the Rugrats in unison.
"Hey girls, guess what?" said Tommy.
"What?" asked Angelica and Zoey in unison.
"My mommy and daddy are doing a family reunion this weekend and my cousins are coming too!" said Tommy.
"We heard Uncle Stu mention that just as we were walking in," said Angelica.
"I didn't know you had more cousins Tommy" added Zoey.
"Don't worry, everyone will get a chance to meet them" replied Tommy.
"Cool. I can't wait to meet them. While I haven't met them yet, I bet they're a lot nicer than Angelica's evil cousin Anthony," said Zoey.
"Uh-huh" replied Tommy.
"That's what we said too" Chuckie chimed in.
"Hey Angelica. I can tell from the look on your face that you're looking a little skeptical. Is there something you want to tell us?" said Zack as he obviously had a keen eye on Angelica.
"Well, sure" replied Angelica. "It's been a whole bunch of yesterday's since I last saw my cousins and I'm not talking about Anthony. But it's just that well..." she said before Kimi butted in.
"That you feel guilty about messing with your cousins with your bullying lies from the past and that you wanna say you're sorry to them, right?" said Kimi.
"Yeah. But how did you know?" asked Angelica.
"Tommy just finished telling us the story about yours and his attendance at a family reunion the year prior before you got here," said Zack.
"I guess you smart babies saw that there's a chance for me to try and make things right with those cousins when Tommy shared the story, eh?" said Angelica.
"Yep" replied Tommy.
"But perhaps you're not sure how you'll go about that and how Tommy's cousins will react to it right?" Zack chimed in.
"Yeah, you could say that," said Angelica.
"Don't worry Angelica. Tommy gots a plan on how to make this play out well this weekend with his cousins visiting," said Kimi.
Tommy then explained his plan to the Dynamic Duo.
"You smart babies do that for me?" asked Angelica.
"Yep" replied the Rugrats in unison.
"But remember, while we will be there to back you up..." said Phil before Lil spoke next.
"Tommy's cousins gotta hear it for themselves from you Angelica," said Lil.
"Sure. We all listened to you when you tolded us how sorry you were for all of the mean things that you ever did" added Chuckie.
"Uh-huh. You gots nothing to lose Angelica," said Kimi.
"Don't worry Angelica. I'm with you all the way" added Zoey.
Angelica smiled. She was feeling stronger and more confident with support from the Rugrats and her best friend.
"Thanks guys. I think I'd be completely lost without you and my new best friend here," said Angelica.
The others smiled.
"Well... we're glad you and Zoey are here too," said Tommy.
"And we're especially glad your yucky evil cousin isn't here to ruin things too" added Dil.
The others nodded in agreement as they headed out to the backyard to play.
Over the next few days Didi and Stu were getting ready for the family reunion. Drew had already gotten the message to come over to the reunion and passed it on to Lou and Lulu. Soon, it was Friday afternoon, the actual reunion was planned for Saturday as many of the families started to arrive. Hugh and Dottie were the first to arrive as Didi answered the door.
"Hugh, Dottie, how are you? Come on in" Didi said as she let them inside.
"Hello Didi, we're fine" replied Dottie as they came inside.
Didi then looked down at Timmy-Ray who was wearing green overalls along with a blue shirt and some light brown boots and his visible freckles and a bit longer reddish-brown hair.
"You have gotten so big since I last saw you" said Didi.
Timmy-Ray smiled as he was chewing on the piece of hay he had in his mouth before looking over at someone who was hiding behind Dottie as Didi noticed and looked as well.
"Oh, come on out Juiliana," said Dottie as the toddler came out from behind Dottie as she looked up at Didi, she had a blue bow holding a ponytail on her reddish-brown hair as she had on a white shirt with pink overalls and a diaper underneath of course along with a piece of hay in her mouth as well.
"Ah, is this who I've been hearing about so much?" asked Didi as she smiled.
"I reckon it is. This is Juliana, or Jill for short, sweetest little thing as she can be" said Hugh as he picked Jill up.
"Now where's your little Dil Pickles we've heard about from you?" asked Dottie.
"He's in here with the other kids, my neighbor's kids are here as well but I'm sure Tommy and Dil will be happy to see Timmy-Ray and Jill" said Didi as she led Hugh and Dottie into the living room where Tommy, Dil, Savannah, Zack, Chuckie, Kimi, Jesse, Phil and Lil were. "You can just leave them here"
Hugh and Dottie put Timmy-Ray and Jill into the playpen as they, along with Didi headed into the kitchen to talk. As soon as the grownups were out of earshot Tommy spoke up.
"Hi Timmy-Ray remember me I'm Tommy" he said as he smiled.
"Howdy Tommy of course I remember ya!" said Timmy-Ray. "There's also someone I'd like you to meet"
"Me too," said Tommy. "But you can go first"
"Alrighty, meet my little sister Juliana Pickles, we call her Jill for short." said Timmy-Ray as he pointed to Jill.
Jill waved to the other babies. "Hi" Jill said.
"Hi Jill" the others replied back.
"Well Timmy-Ray, Jill, I'd likes you to meet my little brother Dylan who we call Dil. I'd also like you to meet my friends Chuckie, Kimi, Savannah, Zack, Jesse, Phil and Lil." said Tommy as he introduced his friends pointing to each one as he said their names.
"Nice to meet y'all" said Timmy-Ray as he was still chewing on his piece of hay.
"Yeah, I reckon we'll be great friends" said Jill as she put her piece of hay back into her mouth as she wasn't used to talking with it in her mouth yet without it falling out yet.
The babies went on playing in the playpen as the grownups chatted in the kitchen. As the evening was approaching more of the families arrived to say their hellos as Tammy-Faye, Emmet and Tony showed up with their families. Of course, with Emmet being older out of all of Tommy's cousin's he wasn't put into the playpen like Tammy-Faye and Tony were. After Tommy introduced the rest of his cousins to his friends and Dil to his cousins, Tammy-Faye popped a question that the Rugrats were hoping to hear at some point.
"So Tommy" Tammy-Faye began. "How have you been with Angelica's meanness since she was proved to be a liar when she made up that story about family reunions? Has she done a lot of mean things to you and your friends since then?"
The Rugrats could only smile as they looked at one another as the Pickles cousins were obviously confused by the smiles on the Rugrats faces as Tommy spoke up.
"We knew you might ask that question sooner or later" Tommy began. "And you might not believe it when we tell you, but hear us out"
The Pickles Cousins listened as kids that were on the ill-fated Sea-Wise-Odyssey cruise explained the events that transpired from beginning to end on their recent vacation on how they met their newest and dangerous foe Angelica's evil cousin Anthony Collins and their newest friend to the bunch Zoey Anderson.
"Woah! So, no one besides you guys called him out on that?" asked a bewildered Timmy-Ray.
"Nope" replied Tommy. "And it isn't just Angelica that Anthony hates so much, but pretty much anybody he comes face to face with whether they're big kids or little kids"
"Wow! What a jerk!" fumed Tony. "How could he pull off such a dirty and dastardly trick on a Pickles?"
"Yeah! Anybody that does something like that especially to anyone in the Pickles family is a coward!" said Emmet.
"Wow, we're glad you guys came out of that adventure okay" said Tammy-Faye.
"Uh-huh. I'd reckon that I'd be crying my eyes out loudly if that bully boy hurted (hurt) me like that when you guys tried to stop him" agreed Jill.
"Well, three of us missed out on all the excitement," said Zack.
"Yeah, although we'd probably would have gotted hurt too trying to stop Anthony like the others have before Angelica made her shot count" added Jesse.
"I couldn't imagine what it would have been like facing off a dangerous bully like that," said Savannah.
"Where is Angelica anyway? Is she okay" asked Tammy-Faye.
"Angelica and her bestest friend Zoey will join us at the family reunion this weekend. And she is better than okay" replied Tommy.
"Uh-huh. After that incident with us getting rebenge (revenge) on Angelica for all the mean things that she ever did, things have been much better for her and all of us too" Kimi chimed in.
"Yeah. As bad as we had it with Angelica's meanness and bullying..." said Phil before Lil spoke next.
"It was much worserer (worse) with Anthony when we finded him out for the evil monster he really is the hard way later" added Lil.
"Well, if we ever see him, we'd make him think twice!" said Emmet as he punched his fist in his palm.
"That's okay. Angelica gave that yucky bully boy a real good butt kicking for almost getting rid of her and using us to almost get what he really wanted," said Dil.
"Serves him right" agreed Tony.
"Agreed. And he gots to stay in Boston, far far away from us" added Chuckie.
"That sounds good to me," said Jill.
"We tolded Angelica that you guys would need a little time to get used to her new attitude change after everything that happened on that big ship and to take in what we tolded (told) you," said Tommy.
"Ah, I think I see what you mean Tommy" said Tammy-Faye.
"Yeah. We let it play out during the Family Reunion and see this for ourselves, right?" added Timmy-Ray.
"Yep" replied Tommy.
"That's a good idea Tommy" agreed Emmet.
"It will be interesting to see what happens during the family reunion if Angelica's going straight," said Tony.
"Yeah. I can't wait to meet these two girls" added Jill.
The others nodded. Eventually, the sun had set over the horizon as everyone at Tommy and Dil's house was leaving to go to the hotel, except Timmy-Ray and Jill since they and their parents were staying with Tommy and Dil and Tommy and Dil's friends whose parents came and got them and took them home for the day. Didi and Dottie got their children ready for bed as Didi was currently giving Dil and Tommy a bath. Of course, with some difficulty as Dil wasn't quite fond of baths, but Didi wasn't the only one as Dottie was giving Timmy-Ray and Jill a bath in the downstairs bathroom. Jill, compared to Dil, was giving her mother some difficulty because she wasn't fond of baths either. Despite the struggle, Didi and Dottie managed to get their kids cleaned as they put their pajamas on as Timmy-Ray was sharing Tommy's bed and Jill was sharing Dil's crib. Dil and Jill were the first ones asleep as Tommy and Timmy-Ray were wondering how the Family Reunion that weekend was going to play out.
"Do you reckon that this family reunion will play out differently than last time when Angelica made up that story Tommy?" asked Timmy-Ray.
"Sure, it will. Plus, with Zoey by her side as her bestest friend likes Me and Chuckie as well as Dilly and Savannah, things are gonna be great" replied Tommy.
"I'd reckon we're all gonna find out this weekend. Well goodnight, Tommy" said Timmy-Ray as he yawned and rolled over falling asleep.
"Night Timmy-Ray" replied Tommy as he fell asleep as well.
Throughout the night the Pickles residence was silent, except for the sounds and a flushing toilet at different times as Tommy and Timmy-Ray had gotten up to use the bathroom. Of course, being the farmer babies out of the four, Timmy-Ray and Jill were up at 5:00 in the morning as it was still dark out. Timmy-Ray and Jill then woke up Tommy and Dil from their slumber.
"What's up Timmy-Ray?" asked Tommy.
"What's wrong Jill?" asked Dil.
"Oh don't you guys get up afore (before) the sun does do yas?" asked Timmy-Ray.
Tommy and Dil shook their heads and yawned before falling back to sleep as Timmy-Ray and Jill looked at each other.
"Well, I reckon we could sleep a little while longer right Timmy-Ray?" asked Jill.
"Yeah, I reckon that would be okay, especially since mom and dad haven't come to get us yet" replied Timmy-Ray as he laid back down and Jill did the same.
The babies slept for a few more hours before fully waking up, getting dressed and having breakfast. Stu and Didi were finishing the final preparations for the family reunion. Soon everyone started to arrive as they were all in the backyard. The babies all greeted each other as they arrived as well as the other Rugrats along with Tammy-Faye, Tony and Emmet showed up as well soon after.
"Hi guys" said Tommy and Dil in unison as they waved happily to their other cousins and friends.
"Hi" they replied back.
At that moment, Drew, Angelica and Zoey were the last to arrive as Didi greeted them.
"Hello everyone" said Didi.
"Hey Deed. This Family Reunion is really jumping" replied Drew.
"Hi Aunt Didi," said Angelica.
"Thank you for inviting me to the family reunion festivities" added Zoey.
"You're welcome" replied Didi.
"C'mon Zoey let's meet up with the others over there," said Angelica.
"I'm with you Angelica" replied Zoey.
And the Dynamic Duo made their way over to where the other children were waiting for them. Tommy then spoke up to break the ice.
"Hi girls," said Tommy.
"Hi" replied Angelica and Zoey in unison.
"Zoey, these guys are my cousins I want you to meet," said Tommy.
Tommy then introduced his cousins one by one as he pointed out who they were and their names.
"It's nice to meet you all," said Zoey.
"I reckon it's our pleasure to meet you too" replied Timmy-Ray.
"And you must be Angelica Pickles I reckon," said Jill.
"Yeah, that's me" replied Angelica. "But until now, I've never seen you before" she added.
"That's because Jill is my little sister Angelica" said Timmy-Ray. "I've become a big brother long after the last family reunion" he added.
"Sounds cool" replied Angelica.
"I'd reckon Timmy-Ray is the bestest big brother eber (ever)" said Jill.
"Well..." said Timmy-Ray as he blushed.
"Well... what are we all standing around for let's have fun already," said Angelica.
"Sure, why not" replied Tommy.
The Pickles Cousins and the other Rugrats nodded in agreement as they scattered around the crowded backyard and inside the Pickles residence to play.
"You up for some friendly competition jump roping?" asked Angelica.
"You're on Angelica" replied Zoey as the Dynamic Duo started jump roping.
Meanwhile, Emmet was pulling Tommy's Reptar Wagon around the backyard with Tommy, Timmy-Ray and Tony in tow.
"This is one cool toy that your daddy made Tommy," said Emmet.
"Thanks" replied Tommy.
"Yeah" agreed Tony. "Horse carriage rides are neat, but this is even cooler"
"I reckon you're lucky that your daddy can invent cool toys Tommy" added Timmy-Ray.
As Tommy and the Pickles Cousins were circling around the backyard, they saw Angelica and Zoey from a distance as they were full of smiles and laughter as they were jumping rope together.
"Do you guys see that?" Tony whispered.
"I reckon the question is how could you not have seen that?" Timmy-Ray responded. "This isn't the same Angelica that made up that story about family reunions last time. Heck, we never saw her all smiles before with another kid until now"
"I'm really starting to see that Tommy is right. I think between Angelica dealing with an even bigger bully that had ulterior motives planned out on her and finding a near identical twin girl that is willing to be her best friend despite her past is having a positive outcome of Angelica's new attitude towards others," said Emmet.
"Uh-huh" replied Tommy. "Plus, Zoey tolded me and my friends that it was Angelica herself that came up to her and talked about all the mean things that she ever did to us and really wanted to try and make things right all while me and my friends were planning our rebenge (revenge) on Angelica"
"I guess I can see that, but still, I think this will take some getting used to as we somewhat expected the same thing to happen again as far as telling white lies goes," said Tony.
"I agree guys. I think we should all give Angelica the benefit of the doubt sometime after lunch today. She is a Pickles after all, but for now, we'll let it play out," said Emmet.
The others nodded in agreement as they continued circling the backyard in Tommy's Reptar Wagon. Meanwhile, Dil, Savannah and Jill were playing in the sandbox making a sandcastle. As they were working on their creation, Jill noticed Angelica and Zoey having the time of their lives with each other's company as she nudged Dil.
"Lookit (look at that) you guys," said Jill. "Those two can hardly keep their eyes off one another. In the shortest time that I've only started to know them, it's like they're really the bestest of friends with each other and that Angelica is nice to others. This is different from what my big brother tolded me about the lastest family union (family reunion) afore (before) I was borndid (born)"
"I know" replied Dil. "After our cruise bacation (vacation) ended, Angelica and Zoey became the bestest of friends like Tommy and Chuckie. And me and Savannah."
"Yeah. This was something none of us eber (ever) imagined it could really happen. But we all gladly accepted that Angelica and Zoey are perfect for each other as bestest friends and things have started getting betterer (better) for all of us" added Savannah.
Meanwhile, inside the Pickles household, Tammy-Faye and the other Rugrats were getting ready to play a game of hide and seek.
"Who's gonna be it?" asked Tammy-Faye.
"Ooooh, I wanna be it!" said Kimi.
"I'm cool with that" replied Chuckie. "How about the rest of you?"
"We're cool with that" replied the other Rugrats in unison.
The others quickly fanned out around the house looking for a good hiding spot as Kimi counted as high as she could.
"Ready of not here I come," said Kimi.
Kimi knew the backyard was much too crowded with people to hide with the Pickles Family Reunion going on, so she began searching the kitchen.
"Hmmm" pondered Kimi.
Suddenly, Kimi heard someone giggling from underneath the kitchen table that had a tablecloth covering it. She tiptoed quietly to the kitchen table and lifted the tablecloth and found Jesse hiding underneath.
"I finded you Jesse," said Kimi.
"Aw so soon?" said Jesse.
"Uh-huh. Wanna help me find the others?" asked Kimi.
"Sure" replied Jesse.
Kimi and Jesse looked around downstairs and noticed the downstairs bathroom door was cracked open. As they got closer, they heard someone giggling.
"Do you hear that, Kimi?" whispered Jesse.
"Uh-huh. It's coming from that potty room up ahead. Let's go see" whispered Kimi.
Jesse and Kimi looked inside and found Tammy-Faye hiding in the bathtub.
"We finded you!" said Jesse and Kimi in unison.
"You sure finded me fast" said Tammy-Faye.
"Uh-huh. You wanna help us find the others?" asked Kimi.
"Sure" replied Tammy-Faye.
The children then headed upstairs to find the others. As they made their way through the hallway, they heard a sneezing sound.
"I know that sneezing sound anywhere. It's Chuckie" whispered Kimi. "C'mon guys"
The children tiptoed quietly until they got to the upstairs bathroom and heard the sneezing sound again.
"It sounds like it's coming from the potty room" whispered Jesse.
The children made their way to the bathroom and saw the shower curtain closed all the way and no water was running. That's when it hit them that someone was hiding as they pulled back the shower curtain and found Chuckie hiding there.
"We finded you!" said Kimi, Jesse and Tammy-Faye in unison.
"You guys sure were being nosy. And I mean that in a good way," said Chuckie.
The others giggled.
"Wanna help us find the others Chuckie?" asked Kimi.
"Sure" replied Chuckie.
Chuckie, Kimi, Jesse and Tammy-Faye searched around upstairs for the others when suddenly, they heard some giggling sounds.
"You guys hear that?" whispered Kimi.
The others nodded. As they tiptoed, they could hear the giggling sound coming from Tommy and Dil's bedroom.
"Let's look in there" whispered Tammy-Faye.
The children made it to Tommy and Dil's bedroom and listened carefully.
"It sounds like it's coming from under the bed, the crib and the closet" whispered Kimi.
Chuckie checked under the bed and found Phil hiding underneath. Jesse looked under the crib and found Lil hiding there. And finally, Kimi looked in the bedroom closet and found Zack hiding inside.
"We finded you!" said Chuckie, Kimi, Jesse and Tammy-Faye in unison.
"Awww, you finded us" said Phil and Lil in unison.
"We were bound to be discovered sooner or later" Zack chimed in. "But still, it was fun"
"Yeah" said Phil and Lil in unison.
The other children nodded as they decided to head downstairs and out to the backyard to meet up with the others as it was nearing lunch time. As they made their way to the patio outside, they saw Angelica and Zoey by the big tree catching some shade and their breaths after jump roping as they were holding hands together and smiling at each other.
"Look at them" said Tammy-Faye. "I never imagined that I'd see Angelica look so cool, calm and hand in hand with another kid that's willing to be her bestest friend. As well as not making up stuff and causing trouble"
"Uh-huh" replied Kimi. "I think Angelica really needed a cool bestest friend in her life. And to really see what it felt like to be targeted for bullying. And did she ever learn a lesson from it all in the end when we all came back home"
"I guess you're right Kimi" replied Chuckie. "The only thing we babies never planned on was Anthony using us for a much bigger evil plan he had in his head for Angelica and us too"
"Yeah. And while we didn't listen to Angelica in the firstest place about Anthony being mean and hating babies, we're glad you and Tommy figured him out when he started being mean all the sudden and spoke up as soon as you did" replied Lil.
"Yeah. I think that is the firstest time we regretted doing something we almost paid for when we got beated up by Anthony when we tried to make things right ways again fast when we thought it over after we got our rebenge (revenge)." added Phil.
"If it's any consolation guys no one, myself included is perfect" Zack chimed in. "At the very least everyone, even Angelica learned something from the whole cruise adventure you guys were on a while back ago. As well as seeing the gravity of the situation and realizing that it's a true nightmare come true. Except for Anthony of course"
"Even Me, Zack and Savannah would have caught the mistake when reality settled in sooner or later. And there's no time like the present" added Jesse.
"Oh yeah. Also, Anthony is no one to make friends or even get comfortable with too!" said Chuckie.
"Yeah!" added Kimi, Phil and Lil in unison.
"Hmmm... If Angelica was able to say sorry to all of you, do you think she'd be able to do the same for Me, Timmy-Ray, Tony and Emmet for lying and making up that wild lie about what Family Reunions are?" asked Tammy-Faye.
"Why don't we find out sometime after lunch?" suggested Kimi.
"That's a good idea" replied Tammy-Faye.
Soon enough it was lunch time as Stu and Didi worked hard and prepared a great abundance of food and dessert dishes for everyone to enjoy.
Sometime later after lunch was completed it was early afternoon. Knowing very well that the Pickles Cousins would leave before sunset when the Pickles Family Reunion would conclude, Angelica (along with support from Zoey and the Rugrats) figured it was now or never in terms of making peace and earning forgiveness. The Pickles Cousins were having similar thoughts (though in their case, they wanted a genuine apology). The children paused their activities and gathered around the sandbox as Jill spoke up.
"So, Angelica" Jill began. "We couldn't help but notice that you were being very nice to everyone today"
"You have Jill?" asked Angelica.
"Yeah. My big brother tolded (told) me sometime after I was borndid (born) that you made up a mean lie about what Family Reunions are. And now you seem cool and fun to be hanging around with. What gives if you don't mind my asking?" said Jill.
"First of all, you're right," Angelica began. "Before I held a reputation as being the Queen of Mean. I pretty much did lots of mean stuff such as lying, breaking toys, bossing others around and such. Not to mention that being a lonely, spoiled brat and a bully didn't help matters. But shortly after I met my near identical best friend Zoey during a recent cruise vacation, I for the first time ever, did a lot of thinking one night on how my actions were hurting others on the inside than the outside. The next day after that I even went as far to go and talk to Zoey about it since she was the only person that I could think of at the time that probably wouldn't mind talking to me. Anyway, as we talked, I shared things that I never thought I'd hear myself say. I think that was when Zoey saw a different side of me at the time. Not the usual Queen of Mean everyone knew, but someone lonely and misunderstood. Between the possibility of having a new best friend like Zoey and I'm not joking, being afraid of my evil cousin named Anthony Collins from my mommy's side of the family, I decided right then and there that I was really gonna try to make things right with the people I've bullied once and for all. And after going through what had to be a kid's absolute worst nightmare dealing with the number one bully in the whole world and finally giving him a taste of his own medicine by standing up to him, I've earned the reward of forgiveness from those that I've bullied. And ever since we came back from that cruise, things have gotten a lot better for all of us"
"I reckon that was quite a life changing adventure and that things would be much different from there on" said Timmy-Ray.
"That could be," said Angelica. "But how can it be that I'm loosening up, coming out of my comfort zone and being nicer with other kids which until recently, I've avoided doing like chicken pops (chicken pox)?!"
"Change is constant in life Angelica," said Emmet.
Everyone nodded in agreement at that moment as Zoey gave Angelica a playful elbow. Picking up on it, Angelica spoke again.
"You're right. And I'll say something else too," said Angelica. "I'm sorry for telling that made up story about what Family Reunions are. I know I'm wrong for doing that in the first place. And if you tell stories that aren't true even if one thinks they're true through denial means, it will come back to haunt you. Can you forgive me?"
"What do you think guys?" asked Emmet.
"Sure, I can forgive her" replied Tammy-Faye.
"If she made peace with others, I can forgive her as well," said Tony.
"I reckon she's not faking it, so yes" added Timmy-Ray.
"Well then, I say it's about time to forgive, forget and move on," said Emmet.
And the Pickles Cousins embraced Angelica as Jill, Zoey and the Rugrats smiled at the scene. At that moment, Didi, Hugh and Dottie just happen to be walking by to check on the kids.
"Well, isn't this a wonderful sight for sore eyes" said Didi.
"Hi Aunt Didi," said Angelica.
"You youngsters having fun," asked Hugh.
All the children nodded yes.
"Would you all like your picture taken?" asked Dottie.
The children's eyes widened with excitement.
"I'll take that as an okey dokey" said Hugh.
And the grownups pulled out their cameras or Iphones and took many group photos of the children. After which, for the rest of the afternoon, the children took part in some of the Pickles Family Reunion activities. The older kids (Emmet, Angelica and Zoey in particular) tried out the sack race, tug of war, the egg race, family board games and hula hoops (though Emmet sat out on hula hoops). As for the Rugrats and the other Pickles Cousins, they got their hands dirty with handprint arts and crafts, blew a parade of bubbles with small and big bubble wands and even did a scavenger hunt. Eventually, time flew as the sun was starting to set as the families all left after a successful Family Reunion hosted by Stu and Didi as they were pretty much exhausted from everything. Angelica, Zoey and the other Rugrats left for home with their parents as well. Stu went on to get everything cleaned up as Didi gave Tommy and Dil their baths. Afterward, Didi put them into their pajamas and into bed before going to help Stu tidy up. Before going to sleep however, Tommy and Dil had a quick chat.
"That was the bestest Family Reunion ever Bro," said Dil.
"Uh-huh" agreed Tommy. "And now our other cousins now know that Angelica is no longer the same bully that they except Jill saw the lastest time"
"Yeah. At least our other cousins are even cooler than that evil yucky bully boy," said Dil.
"Oh yeah for sure Dilly" replied Tommy.
"Night night Bro," said Dil.
"Night night Dilly" replied Tommy.
And the two tired Pickles Boys soon fell fast asleep as they were worn out from the day and were happy for their cousin Angelica making peace with the Pickles Cousins.
