With the main Foot forces defeated, morale in Kumandra's soldiers increased, causing them to attack the remaining foot-bots with more determination.
Before long, the enemy's numbers were slowly dwindling to the point where less than 100 remained.
While that was happening, a battle even bigger than all of them was taking place on the grounds between Fang and Heart, a battle involving Shredder and the turtles, all of whom had been turned into dragons due to the power of the Dragon Gem.
"It's time to put an end to this, Shredder." said Leo-Dragon.
"You may be dragons now, but my power is still superior. I'm practically a god!" said Shredder-Dragon before shooting a black energy beam.
When the attack was halfway over, Leo-Dragon shot his own blue-colored energy beam and hit the attack directly, causing an explosion and neutralizing both attacks.
"Yes, the god of defeats and right now we're going to give you your offerings." said Raph-Dragon before lunging towards him and giving him a punch that pushed him backwards along with a cut due to the blades in his hands.
"Booyakasha!" shouted Mikey-Dragon as he flew behind him and lunged towards Shredder-Dragon and rammed him full on, pushing him forward.
Donnie-Dragon stood above him and launched a purple energy beam at him that caught him by surprise, causing him to be pushed back until he hit the ground.
"Ha. I'm starting to like this." said Donnie-Dragon.
"Don't let your guard down, brothers. It's not over yet." said Leo-Dragon.
And it was true, for Shredder-Dragon soon took off like a missile straight at Leo-Dragon and punched him in the face.
The two entered into a duel in which they attacked each other with their claws, only to be repelled by their scales and dodged.
But then, when Shredder-Dragon found the right moment, he bit down hard on Leo-Dragon's shoulder, causing him to roar in pain before the evil dragon threw him away from him.
Raph-Dragon flew towards him, but Shredder-Dragon moved out of the way and before the turtle-dragon continued his journey, Shredder-Dragon grabbed him by the tails and spun him around a couple of times before launching him towards an incoming Mikey-Dragon.
Then, Donnie-Dragon flew toward him, but Shredder-Dragon grabbed him.
Donnie-Dragon tried to throw an energy beam at him, but Shredder-Dragon slammed his mouth shut, which caused an explosion that hit the turtle-dragon hard before the evil dragon tossed him aside.
Soon after, Leo-Dragon returned and pushed Shredder-Dragon upward with one hand while striking him with the other.
Shredder-Dragon launched a beam of black energy, but Leo-Dragon stepped aside to avoid it, leaving the two of them high in the air.
Before Shredder-Dragon went to do anything, he felt a tug on his tails and turned his head to see that Raph-Dragon was responsible.
"Let's see if you like having this done to you!" said Raph-Dragon before spinning around as he pulled on the evil dragon, spinning him like a top.
After a couple of spins, he released him, causing him to go flying towards Donnie-Dragon who had his tail up.
"The batter gets ready. Wait for the right moment and…" began Donnie-Dragon and just as Shredder-Dragon reached him, he hit him hard with his tail, sending him flying back. "Throw a Home-Run!"
Shredder-Dragon managed to stop and steady himself.
He was about to do something when suddenly Mikey-Dragon hit him from the side as he flew back and forth.
Soon after, he did it again and so on and on for a while.
"Enough!" shouted Shredder-Dragon before quickly dodging out of the way to dodge another attack from Mikey-Dragon, which he grabbed by the carapace and hurled towards Leo-Dragon.
Raph-Dragon and Donnie-Dragon charged their red and purple energy beams and shot them at the evil dragon, who reacted with his own black energy beam.
Shredder's beam hit the beams of the two turtle-dragons, causing an explosion and a smokescreen.
"Where did he go?" asked Raph-Dragon.
Suddenly, Shredder-Dragon appeared behind them and grabbed them by their tails before pulling them to different sides then slamming them into each other and then throwing them towards the ground.
"Eat this, lizard!" shouted Mikey-Dragon shooting an orange energy beam that Shredder-Dragon dodged before shooting his own, hitting the turtle-dragon.
Before Mikey-Dragon could react, Shredder-Dragon stood in front of him and kneed him in the chest before giving him a double pigtail that sent him down.
It was then that Leo-Dragon flew towards him and the two again got into a duel of their own, trying to scratch or bite each other.
In the end, the two shot their own energy beams that impacted each other very close to both of them, so they ended up pushing each other away.
Leo-Dragon charged towards him with the sharp tips of his wings in front to slash him like swords, but Shredder-Dragon used the claws of his wings as a shield and before Leo-Dragon could move away, Shredder-Dragon raised both fists and impacted them on the dragon turtle's head.
After that, he landed several punches all over his body and face before giving him an axe kick that sent him to the ground along with his fallen brethren.
"Guys!" shouted Raya worried for her friends.
At that moment, Namaari noticed something from above and upon checking what it was, her eyes widened in horror.
"Sisu, get out of the way!" shouted Namaari.
Despite not knowing what was going on, Sisu didn't hesitate to fly away from the spot just as Shredder shot a huge black energy beam from his mouth that hit the area where the turtle-dragons were, causing a huge explosion.
By the time the explosion dissipated, Sisu quickly flew to the ground, where they could see the turtle-dragons still alive, but in pain.
"Guys, are you all right?!" asked Raya.
"Ugh. Good enough. I won't say the same about that guy when I catch him, though." said Raph-Dragon as he was getting up along with his brothers.
"I thought we'd have a chance now that we're dragons just like him." said Mikey-Dragon.
"Well, he's been a dragon longer than us so he has the advantage of experience." said Donnie-Dragon.
"Still, we can't give up. We must go back to the original plan of destroying his Dragon Gem and with our new powers, we can accomplish that." began Leo-Dragon before turning his gaze to the two girls and the dragoness. "Listen to me, when I give you the signal, you will attack."
"We?" asked Namaari.
"He's right. No offense, but compared to us, you are like ants." said Donnie-Dragon.
"And that lizard brain will be too blinded by power to notice ants." said Raph-Dragon.
"That way, you'll catch him by surprise." said Mikey-Dragon.
"Do you really think we can do it?" asked Sisu.
"Of course we can. We trust you." said Leo-Dragon.
That was enough to convince them to do it.
"All right. We'll do it." said Raya with determination.
"Okay. Here we go!" exclaimed Leo-Dragon before he and his brothers flew out to Shredder-Dragon and stood around him.
"Still not giving up?" asked Shredder-Dragon.
"We've already told you, Shredder. We won't surrender no matter what." said Leo-Dragon.
"Then, I will give you the honor of dying as warriors under my new power." said Shredder-Dragon before shooting a black energy beam and then, turning his head, causing the beam to pass around him.
Fortunately, the turtle-dragons flew away to avoid the beam.
"Now, boys!" said Leo-Dragon as he and his brothers shot their respective energy beams that impacted the evil dragon completely, causing an explosion in the process.
Before he could do anything, he screamed as soon as he felt a couple of slashes on his back and turned around to see that Raph-Dragon had attacked him with his hands/sais.
Shredder-Dragon launched the claws of his wings to attack him, but Raph-Dragon used the blades in his hands to block them before moving out of the way.
"Booyakasha!" shouted Mikey-Dragon as he lunged at him and took several swipes at his face and body.
After a while, Shredder-Dragon grabbed Mikey-Dragon's fists, much to his surprise, before shooting a beam of black energy that sent him backwards.
Suddenly, something wrapped around his waist and upon looking down, he discovered that it was Donnie-Dragon's tail which, with a jerk, sent Shredder-Dragon flying to the side, where Leo-Dragon quickly appeared and before he could react, Leo-Dragon punched him directly in the Dragon Gem, even creating a small crack as he sent Shredder-Dragon flying backwards.
After shaking his head, he looked down to see the crack in his gem and it enraged him greatly to the point where he let out a powerful roar of pure rage before shooting towards Leo-Dragon.
When he reached him, he punched him several times before kicking him in the chest that sent him backwards.
It was then that Raph-Dragon appeared in front of him and turned to strike him with both of his tails, but Shredder-Dragon countered with his own tails, clashing them together.
Before he went to do anything, Raph-Dragon aimed the blades in his hands directly at his Dragon Gem, widening the crack a bit, which caused Shredder-Dragon to roar again before shooting a beam of black energy that struck Raph-Dragon and drove him away from him.
Suddenly, he sensed something incoming and turned quickly to parry a lunge from Mikey-Dragon with his hands.
"Surprise attack!" shouted Mikey-Dragon taking advantage of his proximity to shoot a beam of energy that hit the Dragon Gem of the evil dragon, pushing him far back as to crack increased a little more.
Shredder-Dragon was about to attack when Donnie-Dragon gave him a pigtail in the face that sent him flying, but before he went too far, Donnie-Dragon grabbed him by the tails and pulled him towards himself back.
When he got close enough, Donnie-Dragon raised his fists and impacted them against the Dragon Gem, causing the crack to grow larger.
After falling a bit, Shredder-Dragon pulled himself together, he looked down at his Dragon Gem to see the crack which, while not the average size of a normal person, was somewhat noticeable and it infuriated him like nothing had ever done before.
"HOW DARE YOU?!" asked Shredder-Dragon as he let out a powerful roar of pure rage before shooting his black energy beam all over the place in an uncontrolled manner in order to hit his enemies, only for them to fly back and forth to dodge the attack.
After dodging Shredder-Dragon's energy beam again, Leo-Dragon flew straight at him with wing blades ahead and gave him a diagonal slash across the chest, making him scream in pain.
Leo-Dragon flew away from him and rejoined his brothers.
"DO YOU THINK THIS WILL BE ENOUGH TO FINISH ME?! I AM SHREDDER! I AM DEATH! I AM A GOD!" exclaimed Shredder-Dragon in utter rage.
"No! What you are is a demon!" said Leo-Dragon.
"And we are the exorcists who will purify you!" said Mikey-Dragon.
"Admit it, lizard! You can't beat us!" said Raph-Dragon.
"We will defeat you here and now!" said Donnie-Dragon.
"NEVER!" shouted Shredder-Dragon shooting a huge black energy beam.
The turtle-dragons fired their respective energy beams which impacted against Shredder-Dragon's energy beam.
The attacks from both sides remained neutral for a few seconds before the turtle-dragons increased the power of their energy beams, which caused their attacks to push Shredder-Dragon's attack back to such an extent that they eventually overpowered it and the combined attack of the four hit Shredder-Dragon directly.
Shredder-Dragon tried to recover from the attack, but then, Leo-Dragon pounced on him and pushed him to the ground, dragging him a bit until they stopped.
Shredder-Dragon was about to try to shake him off, but Raph-Dragon reached over and grabbed one arm, while Donnie-Dragon grabbed the other and Mikey-Dragon held his paws and tails.
With Shredder-Dragon held back, it was the perfect time for it.
"Now, girls!" exclaimed Leo-Dragon stepping aside to grab Shredder-Dragon's wings and stop him from doing anything else.
At the signal, Sisu quickly flew towards him as the two girls on her back readied their weapons.
"Don't come near me!" shouted Shredder-Dragon shooting an energy beam, but Sisu dodged it.
Before Shredder-Dragon went to change the direction of his beam, Raph used one hand to close his mouth, stopping the attack.
"It's time for you to shut your beak for once." said Raph-Dragon.
As Sisu was slowly approaching towards them, Namaari pulled out Somwang's spear and as she looked at it, she began to remember the good times she spent with her, as well as the last conversation they had before her death.
"This is for Somwang!" shouted Namaari throwing with all her might the spear of the one she considered her sister.
The spear flew straight at the evil dragon and stuck in the crack of the gem, magnifying them a bit, causing Shredder-Dragon to roar loudly even with his mouth covered.
Sisu continued to fly quickly, slowly approaching the evil dragon and when she was close enough, Raya jumped off of her with her sword held high and gave a battle cry as she fell towards the Dragon Gem.
As she landed on it, she thrust the sword deep into the crack, along with the spear.
"And this is for Kumandra!" shouted Raya pushing her sword further into the crack.
That caused the cracks to start spreading rapidly throughout the gem as beams of black light emitted from them.
Shredder-Dragon managed to free his mouth from the dragon-turtle's grip and let out a huge roar of pain as the glow of the cracks increased in intensity.
Before they could react, there was a huge explosion of light.
This explosion of light was so enormous and luminous that it could be seen in all the kingdoms of Kumandra by all the people.
By the time the light dissipated, it was revealed that Raya, Namaari and Sisu were on the ground with the turtle-dragons above them as a protective dome.
"Is everything all right?" asked Leo-Dragon.
"Yes, we all are." said Sisu.
As the turtle-dragons stood back, they looked around the battlefield for some trace of their enemy, only to find nothing.
"So, is it over?" asked Raya.
"I think… I think so. We did it!" exclaimed Donnie-Dragon with joy.
"Oh, yeah!" shouted Mikey along with a roar of joy.
"Yes! Who are the best dragons? Us!" said Raph-Dragon before high-fiving Mikey-Dragon.
"I don't see him anywhere. Do you think he's dead?" asked Namaari.
"It's hard to tell." said Leo-Dragon.
Despite not knowing what Shredder's fate was, Namaari felt good to know that the man who killed Somwang had been defeated.
"Somwang, I hope you can rest in peace now." thought Namaari.
It was then that she felt a tap on her shoulder.
Turning around, she saw that it was Raya and before she went to say anything, Raya grabbed her face and pulled it close to hers to give her a kiss on the lips, much to Namaari's surprise.
When she broke the kiss, Raya looked up at her with a smile.
"I love you too." said Raya.
Namaari was shocked that Raya had heard her confession and her surprise turned to happiness when she saw that she felt the same way about her.
The two returned to a deeper kiss, a kiss of true love as Raya's arms wrapped around Namaari's neck and Namaari's arms wrapped around Raya's waist.
The turtle-dragons, as well as Sisu, were happy for the confession of love.
"Well, it was about time they did." said Sisu with a smile and folding her arms.
"You see? I was right. I was right." said Mikey-Dragon happily.
"Yeah, okay. You were right all along." said Raph-Dragon rolling his eyes.
What they didn't know was that, in a nearby forest, lay an unconscious man and that man was none other than Shredder, who had been sent flying there after he lost his dragon form in the explosion.
Opening his eyes, he began to groan as he tried to get up.
"Master."
Turning his head to the side, he saw Tiger Claw, as well as the rest of the mutant minions.
"What happened?" asked Tiger Claw standing next to his master.
"Ugh. Those damn turtles. That's what happened." said Shredder as he tried to sit up, but he was too tired and sore.
"I don't want to be the bearer of bad news, but our forces are dropping." said Bebop dusting himself off.
"Da. It's only a matter of time before they take back their kingdoms and hunt us down like cockroaches." said Rocksteady.
"I think thizzzz would be the perfect time for a retreat." said Stockman.
"For once, I agree with him." said Fishface.
"But we will be back, won't we, master Shredder?" asked Rahzar.
"Yes." began Shredder as Tiger Claw helped him up. "Rest assured, we'll be back and when we are, we'll wipe them all out once and for all."
After that, all the bad guys left with the intention of returning to their lair, where they could rest and think about their next move.
Meanwhile, in the kingdom of Heart, the soldiers and dragons began to cheer the fact that they had wiped out the last of the remaining foot-bots.
In the square, stood Splinter along with Karai, April and Casey.
"Looks like we won." said Casey.
"Don't claim victory, Casey. We still don't know what happened to Shredder." said April.
"That's true. He could show up at any time." said Karai.
"Way to lighten the mood, Ms. Positivity." said Casey sarcastically.
"Don't worry. I'm sure Leonardo, Raya and the others have been able to beat him." said Splinter with confidence in his sons.
"Hey, look up!" shouted a soldier pointing to the sky.
They all turned their gaze upwards and were shocked when they saw four huge green dragons flying towards them along with Sisu, who was carrying the two girls on her back, as well as Sisu's siblings who had recovered.
They all landed in the square in front of Splinter and the human teenagers who took a few seconds to notice.
"B-Boys? Is that you?" asked Karai in surprise.
"No. We're the Beatles come to perform a concert." said Raph-Dragon in a joking manner.
"Guys, are you dragons?! How is that possible?" asked Casey in shock.
"We think it's about the power of the Dragon Gem. It transformed us into dragons in the same way Shredder did." said Leo-Dragon.
"That sounds like it, but at the same time it's not the same. While Shredder corrupted his Dragon Gem, it was your trust that made this transformation." said Splinter.
"Yes, I think so too." said Sisu with a smile.
"So, are you going to stay dragons or do you plan at some point to go back to normal?" asked April.
"Hmm. We hadn't really thought about that. How are we going to go back to being turtles?" asked Donnie-Dragon.
"It's simple. Just concentrate on the power of your gems while thinking of your original forms. That way, you can go back to how you were before." said Pengu.
"Oh, do we have to? I was starting to like this dragon thing." said Mikey-Dragon.
"Michelangelo, you mustn't forget what you really are and unfortunately for you, it's not being a dragon." said Splinter with a smile.
"*Sigh* Okay. Okay." said Mikey-Dragon accepting the situation.
The four dragon-turtles closed their eyes and concentrated deeply just as the Dragon Gems began to glow until they emitted a blinding glow that forced everyone to close their eyes.
When they opened them, they saw that Leo and the others had returned to being mutant turtles.
"It worked. We're back." said Leo.
"Oh yeah. Being a dragon isn't bad, but I love being a turtle." said Raph.
"It will definitely be an experience we'll never forget." said Donnie.
"That I can tell you for sure." said Mikey.
"By the way, what happened with Shredder?" asked Karai.
"During the fight, we managed to destroy his Dragon Gem, which, supposedly, would take away his powers." said Raya.
"But when we wanted to notice, he was gone." said Namaari.
"So, is he KO'd for good?" asked Casey.
"That's something we don't know." said Leo.
"Now that you mention it, by the time we wanted to notice, Tiger Claw and the others escaped before we could hold them off." said Karai.
"Oh, sewer apples." said Raph patting his face.
"While it's true that those issues are troubling, the important thing is that we won." said Splinter.
"That's right. I've received messages from the mutanimals saying they've freed the other kingdoms from Shredder's control." said April.
"So, it's official then. Kumandra has been saved." said Raya with a grin.
"Thank you to all of us." said Namaari with a smile, stepping to her side and taking her hand.
"Hey, what else happened before you arrived?" asked April quietly to Donnie.
"I'll tell you later, but right now I can only tell you that Mikey was right about one thing." whispered Donnie.
That was enough for April to understand what happened.
"You know what that means? It's time to celebrate!" exclaimed Mikey.
"Oh, I love that suggestion!" said Sisu with a smile.
"BOOYAKASHA!" shouted everyone in the group raising their fist to the sky.
