CHAPTER 17

Clare could not believe that the adventure was going so well so far. Four stars found, only one to go. However, the Star of Freedom was going to be a difficult one to obtain. After Clare was hearing that White Lily Cookie, the Ancient of Freedom, could be in a state of depression, Jonathan decided to get an idea together. But as they were headed off to the Land of Freedom, Tatiana stopped.

"We have to stop." said Tatiana as she stopped walking.

"Tatiana, what are you talking about?!" asked Clare. "I mean, come on. These characters need us!" Clare exclaimed.

"They need you for sure." said a random My Singing Monsters Clamble.

"What the?" asked Jonathan.

Jonathan turned around to see the Clamble accompanied with a few other monster species, those being a Drumpler and a few Tweedles.

"What….are these things?" asked Tatiana.

"Are you by any chance Clare Hutchinson?" asked one Tweedle.

Clare nodded, later saying that she was that Clare Hutchinson who was responsible for saving the World of Gaming.

"I would like you to draw your attention to our Clamble officer, Clamp." said another Tweedle monster. "He's the one who has been hearing about your adventures to collect and return the Five Stars of the Golden."

"I have been going around the World of Gaming conducting interviews with the characters whom you have been traveling with, Clare." said Clamp the Clamble. "However, as I was looking into your quests, I found out that you have traveled to the other four worlds."

"Who told you?" asked Clare.

"Uh….right now I can't remember. I have memory loss." said Clamp.

"I bet multiple people told you." said Jonathan.

"Might I ask you something?" asked Clamp. "Are you going to the Land of Freedom?"

"We are, in fact." said Clare.

"Good luck getting there." said the Raven Laguz King Naesala as he walked over to the group.

"Ah, Naesala, good to see you." said Jonathan.

"I have come to clear my conscience about White Lily Cookie." said Naesala.

Clare, Jonathan, and Tatiana gasped.

"What about White Lily Cookie?" asked Clamp the Clamble.

"Shh!" yelled the Drumpler. "Officer Clamp, please! White Lily Cookie is like a saint to the World of Gaming!"

"Um…will you please silence yourselves?!" asked Naesala.

The monsters later silenced themselves.

"Go on, Naesala." said Clare after she heard not one single sound.

"OK, thank you." said Naesala. "As I was saying, White Lily Cookie is in a precarious state. As a result, she had a spell placed on her by Izuka." said Naesala.

"Who told you this?!" asked Clare.

"And what happened to White Lily Cookie?!" asked Clamp the Clamble.

"Apparently, she's about to fall into a five-year slumber." said Naesala. "Elder Faerie Cookie told me everything." said Naesala. "He said, 'pass the word off to the heroes'. So I did. To you." he said as he pointed to everyone.

Clare was worried for White Lily Cookie. She wondered if there was anything the group could do to save her.

"You know what," asked Clamp the Clamble as he spoke, "I'll take you over to the Land of Freedom, where White Lily Cookie resides. I am from that area, and I figured I would take you over there myself."

"Why, how thoughtful of you." said Clare.

As Clare, Jonathan, Tatiana were walking with Clamp the Clamble, Mr. Stark had caught up to the group with Golden Cheese Cookie.

"Mr. Stark!" yelled Clare. "What happened?"

"We were looking all over for you guys!" said Mr. Stark. "Did you hear about–"

"White Lily Cookie?" asked Clare, Jonathan, and Tatiana.

"How did you know?" asked Golden Cheese Cookie.

"I told them!" yelled Naesala as he was about to shift into his Raven form.

"Eeesh…" said Mr. Stark. "So, you guys going to the Land of Freedom?" he later asked everyone.

"I was just about to take them there." said Clamp the Clamble. "So…is this your guardian?" asked Clamp to the children.

"No, he's our teacher." said Clare as she nodded.

"...Oops." said Clamp. "I thought you were all siblings."

"No, they're just my students from Riverton Public School." said Mr. Stark as everyone walked away to the Land of Freedom.

"I just hope White Lily Cookie's going to be alright…" said Golden Cheese Cookie. "I'll go back to the Land of Abundance."

The last star was about to be taken back to the Central Plaza. But there was still the protective Star Crystal to worry about after that.

The Land of Freedom, filled with wind, greenery, and shining silver bells and pure clear white lilies, was home to many characters. Many My Singing Monsters Potbellies were kept in the local greenhouses, all tended to by tribrid monster creatures known as Reedlings. White Lily Cookie, the Ancient Cookie of Freedom, was the land's well-known, soft-spoken savior, one who saw the Land of Freedom where everyone lived freely. However, the freedom was about to be ruined thanks to Izuka and his "feral ones", laguz permanently shifted into their animal forms.

"My feral ones," Izuka spoke, "Tear down this land! Capture White Lily Cookie!"

Dragons and tigers roared, cats hissed, and the hawks screeched. The battle for the final star was just beginning.
