As Damon struggled to get himself down there were footsteps coming their way. Suddenly Stefan emerged from the trees where they all were.

"Come on," Stefan pulled Damon down.

"Ow that hurts, this is why I feed on people,"

"Hello Emily,"

"These people don't deserve this, they should never have to know such evil,"

"My parent's aren't evil they changed for me," Eliza was sat on the ground tears in her eyes knowing she wouldn't have them back.

"What do you mean evil?," he asked as he walked over to check on Eliza.

"Emily I swear to god I'll make you regret this,"

"I won't let you unleashed them into this world,"

"Them?, What part of the story did you leave out?," Stefan asked looking back at Damon as he ran a hand over Eliza's hair trying to soothe her.

"What does it matter?,"

"Emily tell me what you did,"

"To save her I had to save them,"

"Including my parent's Stefan, Alexandra and Ramon are down there,"

"Your parent's?," she nodded confirming it.

"You save everyone in the church?,"

"With one comes all,"

"I don't care about them, well except her parent's, I just want Katherine back,"

"I knew i shouldn't have believed a word, this isn't about love is it?,"

"They killed 27 people and they called it a war battle they deserve whatever they get,"

"27 vampires Damon, they were vampires you can't just bring them back,"

"24 plus Katherine, Alexandra, and Ramon, this town deserves this,"

"You're blaming innocent people for something that happened 145 years ago,"

"There is nothing innocent about these people, and don't think for a second it won't happen again. They already know too much. And they'll burn your little grand witch right next to us when they find out. Trust me,"

"Things are different now,"

"Don't do this,"

"Please Emily don't do this, please let me have my family back," Eliza pleaded and begged as Stefan had stood confronting Damon.

"I can't free them, I'm sorry Elizabeth, I won't,"

"No!,"

"Incendia," she yelled as a ring of fire erupted around her.

"No!,"

"No, no, no please," Eliza continued to beg as did Damon.

"Bonnie!," Elena yelled as she ran forward.

Stefan cut her off at the pass so she wouldn't hit the fire and pushed her to Eliza who was on her knees, eyes full of tears running down her cheek as Elena wrapped a arm her.

Tossing the crystal into the air it exploded as Damon screamed and Eliza collapsed into Elena's arms sobbing.

Damon was infuriated as the fire died down and Emily unpossessed Bonnie.

Suddenly he lunged forward attacking Bonnie as she looked around confused. Ripping into her neck he drank from her for a minute before Stefan sped forward ripping him off her.

Stefan dropped to his knees where Bonnie had landed pressing his ear against her chest for a sound of a heart beat.

"She's alive but barley, I can save her," Stefan said looking up as Elena got up and ran to Bonnie as Jackie arrived and took Eliza from Elena.

Stefan tore into his wrist feeding it to Bonnie as Elena turned towards Damon giving him a disgusted look.

He pressed his wrist into Bonnie's mouth feeding her a good bit of blood as she gasped becoming alert.

"Her neck it's healing," Elena pointed out watching as it sealed.

Jackie had picked up Eliza bridal style and sped her home. Packing a bag for each of them she was scared at how comatose Eliza was.

She knew Nik was in Paris but his brother was in Washington.

Speeding down she threw the bags in the back seat of the car and then went back to gather Eliza again.

Jeremy noticed all the flashing and rushed out to the porch concerned.

"Tell Jenna she went through a traumatic experience tonight, no physical injuries, but I have to get her out of town for a few days,"

"I will let us know,"

"Of course," Jackie nodded as she got in the driver's seat.

Looking over she was scared Eliza was sat eyes frozen, tears on her cheeks, and barley breathing.

Speeding out of the driveway and out of town she knew she had to rush to get her to a safe zone hopefully a few days would be good enough.

Eliza's phone dinged as Jackie drove so she reached over to see who it was.

It was from Damon.

I failed you. I'm sorry.

Jackie knew he was hurting and so she chose to fill him in.

Taking Eliza out of town, she is in a comatose state, will keep you informed. - Jackie

Damon sincerely wrote as he gulped down glass after glass of bourbon.

Next she pulled up the contacts and hit call on Eli's name.

"Sister, what's wrong?,"

"Elijah it's Jackie, something happened tonight will tell you more when we see you. We are on our way to you in Washington,"

"Be safe I will see you soon," he agreed as they hung up the phone.

Jackie put the phone in the middle console as she reached over with one hand grabbing Eliza's.

She would be ok that is all she had to hold hope to.

With Jackie's driving it took them 24 hours. When they pulled up to house in Washington Eli flashed outside and opened the car door where Eliza sat.

"Sister look at me," Elijah tilted her head and could see the pain in her eyes.

Together with Jackie they got their belongings and her into the house and up to the room Nik had set up for her.

Taking her phone out of her pocket she texted Jenna and Jeremy to tell them they arrived.

She is ok. She is with a good person who will help her. Will keep you up to date. - J

With the exchange of messages and updates completed Jackie joined Eliza where she laid hugging her from behind to comfort her.

This was just like when she lost Miranda and Grayson, she could only hope she didn't fall back into the pain. She and Elijah would be with her all the way. As far as they were concerned Mystic Falls was none of their concern.
