"You're a what now?," Jenna asked stunned as she sat at the kitchen table.

"From what i know a elemental witch, that last of my kind to be precise,"

"Well fuck no wonder your family line was being wiped out leaving you to be the last,"

"I know right, I only found out last night I don't want to keep anything from you though aunt Jenna it wouldn't feel right,"

"Have you told the brothers?,"

"Not yet Eli will be home tomorrow and Nik in a week,"

"Okay so make sure they are next to know, I wouldn't let this get out if I were you hun you don't know what could happen,"

"I know aunt Jenna thank you for still wanting to protect me,"

"Always," she said leaning over hugging her.

Jenna left shortly after that leaving Eliza to comb through her house for answers. Jackie was sprawled out on the couch with Harper. They were getting close and she was happy they would be good for each other.

She headed up to the attic which would be a good first place to start.

It was full of dust and cobwebs and in the span of five minutes she felt like she had sneezed a half a million times.

There were boxes all over the place. Most were clothes, some were holiday decorations, and the others were labeled by specific year.

She started with the most recent of 1885 the last time the house had been occupied.

Opening it up there was a stack of papers on top, a few journals below that, and what looked like a jewelry box on the bottom.

Lifting it she took it down to her bedroom. Using the bed she began spreading everything out.

Starting with the papers she realized the last Mackenzie before her had traced her family line, made a list of the banks that held safety deposit boxes for the family, and what little bit they knew about Elementals.

Eliza figured if this ancestor had took notes possibly some of the others may have so she would wait to compare notes.

The journals she placed to the side those would take time to read and she could always do it before bed.

She chose to open the jewelry box though. It was a simple one with three levels and a small drawer. The first layer held small stud earrings, and a few pairs of gold hoops.

The second tray held a single bracelet. It was intricately designed in the form of Celtic knots, and held a simple Emerald in the middle. On the back was inscribed the words 'Smacht againn ar an domhan' we control the world.

Eliza slipped the bracelet on feeling as if it was meant to be there it fit her perfectly.

The last drawer surprised her though. Inside it held three Lapis Luzuli rings. Daylight rings. Why were there daylight rings in the box she wondered. Had more of her family been turned into vampires, or was there another mystery behind it soon enough she would figure it out.
