The following day Eliza woke up feeling like she had slept a year. Getting up she went through her morning routine before standing before her closet unsure what to wear. Normally she would go for fun and bright but with all that was going on she opted for dark clothes.

Jackie stood in the doorway of Eliza's bedroom watching as she put on her makeup to match the knee length black skirt, black long sleeved low cut shirt, and her knee high black boots.

"Wanna head over to Matt's today?,"

"Gonna check on Stefan first to make sure there was no lasting damage from the tomb vamps,"

"Want company,"

"You sis always," she smiled at Jackie in the mirror as she finished with her black lipstick.

Together they headed downstairs to the kitchen where her uncle Henry and Harper sat drinking their morning glass of blood.

"Morning Harper, morning uncle Henry," she greeted kissing her uncle's cheek.

"Morning kiddo how are you feeling?,"

"Better, I guess now we know the more I use the more I sleep,"

"Yep, Elijah checked in as did Klaus they both were unhappy to hear what had occurred but were happy you were alright,"

"I will have to message them later," she smiled thinking of her brother and love as she drank a vial of Klaus's blood, and grabbed a apple.

"What are your plans for today?,"

"Checking on Stefan first then Matt, other then that go as is. I might go see aunt Jenna and Jeremy if Elena isn't hanging around,"

"Still have issues with her?,"

"Always uncle Henry after all her bloodline is the reason I keep dying," she said as she headed out grabbing her leather jacket and keys on the way.

Jackie cranked the radio as they headed over to the Salvatore house causing them both to crack up laughing as they badly sung along to a Avril Lavigne song.

Pulling up she parked the car taking a deep breath as she exited the car and making her way to the house.

She knocked but no one answered til Jackie yelled out the car window.

"Music is on sis he might not hear you!,"

"Thank you," so Eliza tried the handle and after seeing it was unlocked she entered and followed the music upstairs.

As she arrived upstairs she smirked as she leaned against the door jam watching her brother do pull ups from the ceiling.

"Bored Stefan?," she laughed as he startled turning seeing her standing in the doorway.

"Lizzie! How are you feeling sis," he asked as he walked over pulling her into a hug.

Her nose twitched as she hugged her brother and it clued in what was happening.

"When did you drink human blood?,"

"How the hell did you know that?,"

"I'm your sister and my senses are nuts since my elemental powers showed up, now what made you fall off the wagon?,"

"Elena gave me hers last night during the fight with Fredrick,"

"God dammit I had it handled she should not have done that,"

"I know, and then when I came home I ended up drinking half of Damon's stash,"

"Shit, you know we need Lexi now right?,"

"I know, I promise I will try to behave,"

"You better or I'll kick your ass before I let you become the ripper again,"

"For you i will do anything," he promised hugging her again before she let him get back to his workout to go check on Matt.

She knew Stefan being on human blood was going to be a issue, she just hoped Lexi could get here fast enough.

After Eliza left Damon came home and headed upstairs after hearing the music.

"Can you turn it up a little bit? It's not annoying yet,"

"Sorry," Stefan said not stopping the pull ups he was in the middle of.

Turning around Damon turned off the music which in turn then caused Stefan to stop his work out.

"When are you going back to school?,"

"Soon," Stefan replied dropping into push ups.

"Oh come on just drink already," Damon said walking over and crouching down beside Stefan.

"This self detox is unnatural,"

"Would you get that away from me please," Stefan asked as he stood up walking away from Damon and the glass of blood in his hand tempting him.

"How long did it take you to wean yourself off after your last indulge?," he asked as Stefan began push ups in another spot.

"That's not good," Damon said as he got no response to his question of how long.

"I'll be fine it just takes a little bit of time, plus Eliza was here and she had me promise to get better or she would kick my ass, though I'm sure she is headed over to kick Elena's for giving it to me in the first place,"

"Great so Eliza has you on a watch plan and I have to make sure she doesn't kill her sister, fun," Damon replied sarcastically.

"I don't get it you don't have to kill to survive that's what blood banks are for, I haven't hunted a human in god way too long,"

"Only cause you know Eliza will never forgive you,"

"You under estimate the power she has over us both,"

"Oh I know, do you?," Stefan pointed out since he knew his brother still loved her despite Klaus having her heart again.

"I'm impressed though,"

"Completely self serving trying to get the town of the trail of vampires is not very easy considering there is a entire tomb of them running around,"

"What are we planning on doing about that since most of them hate Eliza's family, and us?,"

"You're not going to be doing much of anything if you don't have your strength. There's nothing wrong with partaking in a healthy diet of human blood from a blood bank. You're not actually killing anyone,"

"I have my reasons,"

"Well what are those holier then thou reasons? Cause you know we never actually discussed that. You know I would love to hear this story," Damon asked sitting down in the chair by the door placing the glass of blood on the table beside it.

"You're really enjoying this aren't you? Just watching me struggle,"

"Very much so,"

"I hate to break it to you Damon but I actually have it under complete control, and I have Eliza's help as well as those in her house,"

"You do?,"

"Mhm,"

"Oh well then you should carry on making the rest of us vampires look bad. Have a great day Stefan," he replied standing up purposely leaving the glass on the table as he left the room.

Stefan looked at it, it was so tempting, but he had promised Eliza and to hurt her was the worst feeling in the world.

"Oh hey almost forgot something," Damon laughed as he jogged back in the room grabbing the glass of blood oops," he said heading out again.
