Vengeful Love
Elena didn't know how long she stayed on the bridge after Stefan left her there. It was probably well over an hour. She thought of calling Damon for a ride. She knew he'd pick her up. But she didn't do it. Instead, she just sat there on the bridge crying her eyes out for a while. She felt so betrayed. Stefan had threatened to drive her off a bridge, the very same bridge she'd lost everything on not too long ago, and Stefan would've gone through with it. She saw that in his eyes, and he'd all but admitted when she asked him point blank. If Klaus had called his bluff, he would've driven over that bridge with her in it. She would be in transition right now since he forced his blood down her throat.
Elena was devastated. It wasn't just simply what Stefan did. It was the fact that she'd had faith in him until now. Even though there was barely anything inside of Stefan that she recognized, she had hoped that he'd return to her one day. She believed that even after he sabotaged their chances of killing Klaus. She felt like a fool. She felt as pathetic as Stefan had called her when she told him she still had hope. He was right. There was nothing left of the man she'd loved. Tonight proved that.
After what felt like forever, Elena got up and started walking. She wasn't sure where she was going. She just starting walking and let her feet decide where they would take her. As she walked, her pain turned to anger. She was angry at Stefan, but she was angrier at herself. She'd let him make a fool out of her. She'd believed in him, and he'd made it clear that that was the biggest mistake she could've ever made. It was one she wouldn't make again. She wouldn't a fool again, not for Stefan or anyone else.
Elena soon found herself at the Grill. She wasn't sure how she got there, but there she was, and while she was there, she decided she would get drunk. Most of the bartenders turned a blind eye to underaged drinking. She could only hope that one of them was on duty tonight.
Elena went up to the bar to find Matt there. Matt didn't normally bartend, mostly because it was illegal for a minor to do so, but the manager often didn't follow the rules. "Hey, Matt."
"Hey, Elena. You okay?" Matt asked. She didn't look so good. She looked like she'd been crying and now she looked pissed.
"Get me a bourbon, Matt," Elena said.
"Elena, I can't. I could get into a lot of trouble for that," Matt said.
"Matt, I've had a horrible night. Please," Elena said.
"Elena, you know that I can't," he said.
Suddenly a glass of Bourbon was placed directly in front of Elena. She looked to her left and saw Klaus next to her.
"Problem solved, love," Klaus said before turning to Matt. "Get me another one. No, in fact, bring me a bottle and another glass."
Matt looked hesitant but went to do what he asked.
"Did you follow me here?" Elena asked. She hadn't sensed Klaus' presence at the bridge, but he was a powerful hybrid and she had been preoccupied. For all she knew, he had shown up just after Stefan left.
Klaus laughed. "Don't flatter yourself, love."
"Oh, it's not flattery. I know you don't give a damn about me, but you do care about keeping your blood supply alive and human," Elena said before taking a large gulp of his drink.
Matt brought Klaus a bottle of bourbon and a glass at that moment.
"Clever girl," Klaus said before pouring himself a glass of bourbon. "But, no, I wasn't following you. This is just a happy accident. I needed a drink. After all, your boyfriend does still have my coffins."
Elena turned and glared at him. "Don't ever call him that again!"
"Ooh. Someone's a little angry. To be honest, I figured you'd forgive Stefan right away, maybe you'd even blame me," Klaus said.
"Oh, I do blame you. You're the one that shut his humanity off," Elena said before finishing off her drink. She then grabbed the bottle from in front of Klaus and poured another.
"True, but his humanity isn't off now. No one cares about something as petty as revenge when their humanity is off," Klaus said.
"I'd gathered that, which is why I don't only blame you," Elena said before starting on her second glass. "But you started it when you turned off his humanity. It wouldn't have happened if not for you."
Klaus chuckled before taking a sip of his drink. "Don't be naïve, love. Stefan is a ripper. Eventually, he would've reverted back to that all on his own. It was only a matter of time. If anything, I've done you a favor. I've saved you from more heartache later on."
"Yeah, well, don't expect a thank you," Elena said. She finished her drink up and poured another.
"You must be a light weight. Liquid courage is the only explanation for your newfound courage to speak to me this way," Klaus commented. She wasn't being overly rude or anything, but she was usually more careful of the way she spoke to him. She knew what he could do to her. Yet, right now, that hesitation was gone.
Elena laughed. "I'm more or less sober. I can hold my liquor. What do I need courage for? You're not going to do anything to me. You need me. Your blood supply goes away if anything happens to me, especially tonight. I still have Stefan's blood inside me."
Klaus gave her an impressed look. "Like I said, cleaver girl. However, there are ways to punish someone without killing them, sweetheart. In fact, they are often more affective."
"Yeah, I guess there are. I might just experiment with that," Elena said. She was still extremely angry, and she wanted Stefan to know it. She wanted to hurt him the way she was hurt.
Klaus laughed loudly. "You're that angry, huh?"
"Damn right! And I'm tired of being a fool. I want to hurt him. I want him to know that I will never let him hurt me like this again," Elena said.
Klaus smirked at the little doppelganger. "You know, I think I like you much better like this. No more of that pathetic whining about love. You know, I might just be able to help you with your revenge quest."
Elena was about to tell him to go to hell, that she didn't need his help, but then she thought about it. There was no one in the world Stefan hated more than Klaus. Klaus might just be the key to hurting him the way he hurt her. It would also help get Stefan out of her system. There would be no coming back from what she was thinking about doing, and she needed that. She needed to put the final nail in the coffin of her and Stefan, just in case she ever considered being his fool again. "If you mean that, I have an idea that only you can help me with."
Klaus merely raised an eyebrow in response.

Klaus pushed Elena into his bedroom, all the while kissing her. This was not what he imagined when Elena said she wanted revenge against Stefan, but he was more than up for it. Well, after he set a couple of rules.
Elena had to admit that Klaus was a good kisser. She hated him and was only doing it to serve her purposes, but at least she knew it would be fun. She moved her hands to his belt.
Klaus grabbed her wrist and broke the kiss before she could do anything else. "Not so fast, love. If we're doing this, let's get a few things straight. I am not a Salvatore. This will not be some love story."
Elena laughed. "Yes, because my dream is to find love with my aunt's killer. Get over yourself, Klaus. I'm doing this for me, and half the appeal to it is the fact that I hate you. The other half is that Stefan hates you."
Klaus gave her an impressed look. "Very well, but I also don't want you whining in the morning about regrets because the big bad wolf took advantage of you."
"Oh my God. Shut up already! The only whiner here seems to be you. Let's get on with it, preferably silently," Elena said.
Klaus smirked before crushing his lips into hers and then began removing her clothing.
Elena resumed her efforts to remove his belt. Once she was done, she helped him out of his pants.
Klaus pulled away for a minute before pushing her onto the bed with just slight force. He removed what was left of his clothing and got on top of her.
Elena fisted his hair as Klaus resumed kissing her. She could hardly believe this was happening, but one thing she was sure of was that she would not regret this in the morning.
