And I am your guide through these vast new realities. Follow me, and ponder the question..."What If...?"

As the Watcher watches the universe in the background, in the middle of the woods in the Ever After, Team RWBY, saved for Ruby Rose herself since she had no weapon on her, was fighting off against the monster known as the Jabberwalker. However, in this universe that the Watcher was watching in, the Jabberwalker itself was handling Team RWBY well on its own and the fight was not going very well for the team as Weiss, Blake, and Yang were being knocked back by it as they couldn't do much damage to it. And it didn't help that Yang was missing her prosthetic arm.

"Oh, man, this is bad!" Ruby thought in panic, "If only I had Crescent Rose with me, I could help!"

Then, after knocking and beating Weiss, Blake, and Yang to the ground, weakened and powerless to get back up, the Jabberwalker turned to Ruby who gasped and panicked in fear before it began charging at Ruby to attack her.

"AHHH!" Little the Mouse screamed on Ruby's shoulder, "RUBY, RUN! THE JABBERWALKER WILL EAT US!"

Unfortunately, as the Jabberwalker continue to charge toward the leader, Ruby stood frozen and was too scared to even move a muscle, even though her friends were all screaming and telling Ruby to run. This was going to be the end! She and all her friends were going to die in the middle of nowhere in the Ever After! And all Ruby could do was close her eyes and await her fate as the monster launches itself at her. Until suddenly...

"KID, GET DOWN!"

Ruby gasped with wide eyes at the sound of another voice other than her friends and teammates before quickly doing as told and ducked down as a sudden fast bullet flies passed above her and hit the Jabberwalker on the face, knocking the monster backward and onto the ground.

"Huh?!" said Ruby, shocked and confused by the sudden bullet before turning around to see who fired, "What the-?!"

Behind Ruby, there stood a strawberry-blonde-haired and blue-eyed woman in a white dress and blue accessories carrying a sniper rifle in her hand as she loaded another bullet before firing at the Jabberwalker, knocking the monster back from Ruby and her friends. Then, running past Ruby was a white-haired man with grey eyes dressed in a white suit with gold ornaments wielding two swords, one a metal sword and another a fire sword, who charged at the Jabberwalker and gave out multiple slashes at the creature, inflicting damage upon it, before kicking it back. And then, another person, a young boy with spiky brown hair with pink streaks with a long bang on the left side of his face tied with yellow and blue beads and turquoise eyes, a purple shirt and black pants, a pair of metal gauntlets, and a shoulder pad with a wolf head, appeared from above and flew down and landed a punch on the monster before he quickly moved back as an eclectic ball attack appeared and exploded in front of the Jabberwalker, and the one who cast the spell was a young girl with black short hair and brown eyes and dressed in a blue coat with a hood, and on her shoulder was an owl-like creature, while in her hand she carries an open book that she used to cast her spell. As the smoke cleared, the Jabberwalker was suddenly attacked on both sides, one from above on the left, and another from below on the right. From above on the left was a woman in white armor with long blonde hair and amber eyes using a towering shield to bash the creature in the face, while at the bottom on the right was a dark-skinned man with curly red hair and brown eyes, dressed in a white, brown, and blue attire with a brown and blue cape over his left shoulder, while wielding a staff which he used to trip over the monster.

Team RWBY stood where they were, shocked, confused, and awestruck by what was going on right in front of them. Six strangers suddenly appeared out of nowhere and were taking on the Jabberwalker without breaking a sweat, and they were all using magic no less.

Eventually, the six mysterious warriors surrounded the Jabberwalker, ready to attack once it made its next move. However, seeing and realizing that it was outmatched, especially with people who somehow have magic and powers, the Jabberwalker quickly turned away and made its retreat by jumping away to get away from the group as much as possible. The woman with the sniper rifle fired several rounds at the monster but it quickly managed to make its escape and was soon gone from sight.

"Dammit!" said the woman with a sniper as she magically dismissed her weapon, "It got away!"

"Well, at least we made it on time to save some people here." said the swordsman as he put away his two swords, "That's what counts."

"Okay, I don't know WHO you guys are, but THAT was a spectacular entrance!" said Yang with a big smile, "Seriously, you saved our butts there!"

"Thank us later," said the sniper woman, "That thing could come back for us at any given time soon, we need to get moving now!"

"Uh...right." said Weiss as she was helped up back on her feet by the knight-armored woman.

"Fine by us!" said Blake as she and Yang were helped up by the hooded girl and the spiky-haired boy.

"Yeah, we should go." Yang agreed, "Ruby?"

"Uh...yeah." said Ruby, "Let's go." She turned to the swordsman and said, "Uh...thanks, by the way, for saving us...uh...Mister...?"

"Alphen." the swordsman introduced himself before introducing his companions, "And this is Shionne, Rinwell, Law, Kisara, and Dohalim."

"I'm Shionne." the sniper woman introduced.

"I'm Rinwell." said the hooded girl.

"Name's Law." said the spiky-haired boy.

"Kisara." the knight-armored woman saluted.

"Dohalim, a pleasure." Dohalim greeted with a bow, "And you girls are?"

"Oh, uh...nice to meet you." said Ruby, "We're uh...Team RWBY."

"Wait, Team RWBY?" said Law, "What the hell kind of name is that?"

"It's a team name." said Ruby, "Uh...my name is Ruby, and these are my friends, Weiss, Blake, and my sister Yang."

"Hold on...Ruby...Weiss...Blake...and Yang...?" Rinwell thought to herself out loud for a bit before realizing and said, "OH, RWBY! I get it! It's because it came from your names, I see where you got your team name from!"

"Well, I don't get it." said Law.

"Ugh, never mind that." said Shionne, "We need to get moving now before that thing gets back. Do any of you know any safe place to go to?"

"Huh?" said Ruby, confused, "Wait, you guys aren't from here?"

"Hmm?" said Alphen, just as confused as Ruby, "N-No, we thought you guys were from here."

"No, we're from the world of Remnant, not here." Weiss explained, "We just fell from our world to here. Why?"

"Wait, you all fell from the sky from your world to here?" Shionne asked.

"Well, yeah, why?" Blake asked.

"Hmm...I see." said Shionne, "So you all somehow fell into this world from another world...just like we did."

"Wait, what?" said Ruby, confused by what Shionne was saying, "Hold on, are you saying you guys aren't from here nor Remnant?"

"Well, no." said Rinwell, "What is Remnant, anyway?"

Team RWBY looked at each other before looking back at Alphen and his group who were just as confused as to what was going on.

"I think I get it now." said Shionne, "We must've been transported from our world to this world the same way they've been transported from their world to this world."

"W-What're you talking about?" Ruby asked.

Shionne looked at Team RWBY before answering, "I'll explain everything later. Just know that we ARE from another world, we're just...not from YOUR world."

"Wait, what do you mean you're not from our world?" Weiss asked, "What's going on?"

"I'll answer whatever questions you have later, but for now, we need to get moving." said Shionne as she magically summoned her sniper rifle, "This area isn't exactly safe, and that monster-the Jabberwalker, you call it?-it could come back for us any moment, so we have to go. Does anyone here know a safe place for us to stay at, out of sight from that monster?" When there was no answer, Shionne sighed before correcting, "Anyone that is FROM this world knows a place to stay at?"

"Ooh, ooh!" Little hopped out of Ruby's cape before saying excitedly, "I know a place! Follow me!"

As Little walked off to lead the way, Law looked dumbfoundedly at the mouse and asked, "Wait...did...that little mouse just talked?"

"I believe it did." said Dohalim, not surprised by it at all.

Shionne sighed and said a small smile, "Let's be honest, everyone, we've all seen weirder. Does this even surprise any one of us anymore?"

"No."

"Uh-uh."

"Nope."

"Not at all."

Shionne chuckled before saying, "Thought so. Anyway, let's go."

Team RWBY, Alphen, Shionne, Law, Rinwell, Kisara, and Dohalim followed Little as the small mouse guided the team somewhere where they could talk about everything that they know properly, away from the Jabberwalker should it ever return.

Little did they know (No pun intended), that their journey together in the Ever After was going to be a very long one.
