At midnight, the shattered moon is glowing, creating light upon the entire ''Fallen City''. The city has been abandoned for a god-know-long time, being left to undergo physical deterioration, some buildings have collapsed roofs, broken windows, and crumbling walls and some have just... collapsed and destroyed by bombs, and bullets. Nature is all over the entire city, rooted plants, moss, and overgrown trees are everywhere. Bomb holes, trenches, barbed wire, weapon parts, destroyed vehicles, and corpses are everywhere, most of them are in the advanced decay or skeletonization stage. The city is also where the creatures of the nightmare named Grims roam around trying to find any victims, who are caught in their sight. The silence of the city can make someone even the bravest one feel the the deadly atmosphere, the emptiness of it, It is the silence of nightmare, the silence of death and suffering, it can easily break the mind of mortal ones.

Suddenly, gun sounds echoed throughout the city, and the sound of screaming and shouting appeared, breaking the death silence in the city. 4 figures ran out of the destroyed building while shooting the nightmare wolf-like creatures with dark fur around them and thick bloody skulls on their head.

One of 4 figures, is a teenage girl with a fair-skinned young girl with wary black-grey hairand ashes grey eyes. She has a special trait, a pair of black cat ears on top of her head. She Wore a black-grey WW1 trenchcoat with many pockets filled up with a bunch of injections. She wields a medical backpack, and inside of it are dozens of pills, bandages, surgeon tools, and a lot of herbs. At the same time, wear a special Kevlar vest that can carry 30 'high anti-tank caliber rounds and 4 healing injections. She wears a military pant with metal knee armor and combat boots with metal plates around them. She carries a musket-like rifle with a long bayonet knife attached to it, on the stock there is a word written ''Detruanto'' and on the bayonet knife's blade it also writes ''Confodere''. She shouts

Blake: ''Ruby! Give me 15 high anti-tank caliber rounds, HUNRY UP!''

After that next to her, was a fair-skinned young girl who had neck-length black-red highlights color hair, and her eye color was bloody red with a darker red cross. Her outfit is like Blake's, a WW1 trenchcoat but its color is black and slightly red, and her pocket is filled up with a lot of ammunition, and bombs. She wields a travel backpack filled with engineering tools, machinery stuff, a bunch of gun parts, and chemicals for bombs. Her armor is a simple Kevlar with a lot of bombs and ammunition attached to it. She wears a military pant with padded knee armor, both in a red-black color. Her combat boots have nails combined with a special metal plate. Her weapon is a short sniper rifle that uses high anti-vehicle caliber rounds with a shotgun attached to the handle of a scythe, pointed to the scythe blade, in the middle of between the blade, there is a word written ''Rithy''. She quickly responds

Ruby: ''No need shout me like that Blake! And I only have 9 rounds left!''

Blake: ''whatever just give it to me!''

Ruby quickly throws a mag of high-calibers to Blake which only 9 rounds. Blake caught it, she loaded 8 rounds into her Kevlar, and took one round loaded into her rifle, she cycled the rifle's Lock and quickly put the caliber into the rifle chamber, recycled the lock again, and turned back while running. She quickly aimed into the creature's head and fired it, the sound from the rifle echoing throughout the city again, it was so loud that everyone near it could be deaf in a few seconds. The shot hit right in the middle of that creature and exploded its head into a pile of mess, the blood more like a black liquid that contained the nightmare fuel, leaked outside the creature's body. although its head has exploded and its blood leaked, it still keeps on chasing 4 girls along the streets. Ruby decided to command the third one

Ruby: ''Weiss! use your 'Codgra' to finish it!''

The third one, also named 'Weiss', is a pale-skinned young woman with pale blue-sapphire eyes and long silver-snow hair that is pulled back into an off-center ponytail. She has a big scratch scar on her left eye. She wears a long scientist lab coat with a lot of 'samples' in its pocket and a white Kevlar that was created to contain chemical bombs and her ammo. She wields a futuristic backpack that used to contain all of the dangerous chemicals, special 'samples' for research, and creating chemical weapons to use against those creatures. She wears a white camo military pant that attaches a special tasset using hardened Kevlar cloth and her knee armor using hardened Kevlar cloth too. her combat boots are special, it is a high gothic boots with a lot of hardened Kevlar cloth wrapped around them, and a hidden knife under hardened Kevlar cloth on her left side. Her hip on the right side has a very long rapier that is connected to a battery attached to the blade which on the battery has a word written ''Life of the dual'', and she also has a holster that carries 'a revolver has a knife blade' attached to it, the holster also has a word written ''coup de grace'' on it. She responds back

Weiss: ''roger that!''

She quickly withdraws her revolver, turns back, and double-tap on the creature. each shot contained a lot of explosives and special chemicals to take down them quickly. The creature after receiving 2 shots from 'Codgra' roams in pain, and falls into the middle of the road, its flesh starts to dissolve from the chemicals and the creature's blood is everywhere, the pain of it endure can easily break the mind of mortal, after few second, it has finally gone... turning into a pile of black liquid or which can be called 'blood'. Although the creature is gone from existence, the team is still on guard, ready for another surprise attack, if there is one.

Ruby scanned around, and checked her equipment, she decided to ask her teammate

Ruby: ''Check your equipment, if there is something wrong with it, give it to me. I will fix it. Weiss gave 'me and Blake' 4 AG gas grenades (chemical bombs). Blake gave each of us your adrenaline shots, and Yang secured around for us a little bit, we needed to rest. Let's head to a nearby tech store in the southeast, I think there are some useful resources and tools for us.''

The final one, who named Yang. She is a tall, fair-skinned young girl with yellow-sunny eyes and long, thick, wavy bright golden hair that fades to pale gold at the tips with a cowlick sticking out at the top. She wears a long black with a slightly yellow color coat that is attached to a lot of metal plates and hardened Kevlar cloth. She wears full body armor that is made of 100% Kevlar cloth, she has a plated shoulder armor Chinese style, and her tasset is very long to the knee part, using Chinese style too, her armor has the same color as her coat. Her left arm is a robotic arm with a lot of armor plates attached to it and a few mechanical devices. she wears a medieval pant while still attaching a lot of armor plates as well, and has a slightly less yellow color as her coat. her combat boots are high-knee Gothic boots padded up with Kevlar cloth and attached to a lot of armor plates as well, her boots also have some nails like Ruby but are longer and sturdier. behind her back was a very big 4 backpack, that contained all of the entire team's supplies like food, water, camping tools, cooking tools, tends,... almost everything for surviving, and her weapon was an electric 6-barrel shotgun gauntlet, connected to the battery on top of it and beside it is a heated blade (work like Doom slayer gauntlet's blade), on the battery there is a word that writes ''Potentia''. She replies

Yang: "Don't worry team, I got an eye for you guys"

Ruby:'' thank you, sister. You will need a rest after this done this mission''

Yang hears it then just nods, and starts to secure around.

Blake: "So you guys need adrenaline shots right? Here just don't quickly pull it out after injecting it" she speaks with her caring tones like a professional doctor speaks to patients.

Then she carefully pulled out 3 adrenaline shots from her Kevlar and gave it to each teammate. Ruby will just put it in her pocket coat. Weiss carefully held it in her backpack. while Yang is just put inside her robotic arm, ready to use it in emergence.

Weiss: "I started to run out of chemicals now, so use it carefully. And especially you Ruby, you wasted a lot of it now''

Ruby: ''Hey! At least I get the job done right?''

Weiss: ''Then I had to buy and pay for those materials again right? My wallet has started dying since the time I started working with you, I... had to borrow money from my sister...''. She said with a disappointed tone while taking out chemical bombs in her backpack.

Ruby: ''No need to say it like that-''

Weiss: ''You still owe me 5000$, Ruby. That does not even count the total money for those materials."

Ruby: "Oh Snow Queen, I will pay you a 'small feast' right after we escape this hellhole. Wanna joining Blake? sister?"

Weiss: " ...Nope, I won't join it..."

Blake: "Ehhh... sure then it a 'little celebrated for mission complete' after all"

Ruby: "How about you sister?"

Yang: "Of course, I will join, little Rose, but you should try to hold yourself to not getting drunk after drinking 4 bottles of beer, Ruby. You can't continue the daily mission the next day... like the last time..."

Ruby: "Hehe...sorry Yang...By the way... Blake. Why did you suddenly open fire on the door of the pharmacy room? We were almost caught off guard by thinking those types 'illuminated' were trying to ambush us...''

Yang says it while laughing her ass out, and pointing to Blake. And Blake of course still embarrassed of her 'super' inaccurate in the past.

Blake: ''It happened like 5 years ago! why do you guys still remember it!?''

Ruby: ''Because it's funny! You are trained to have the most precise and accurate gunner/sniper in Beacon. Yet! somehow missing the shoot like that is truly rare! So that is why we still remember it until now.''

Blake: ''Ehh...Just... forget about it''

After that, they continue chit-chat, while walking to the nearby tech store. Their conversation in this abandoned city just feels so alive, breaking the deadly silence of that city, forgetting the dangerous place they are in, and only minding their things.

After long 5 minutes of walking on the street, they finally reached the store. inside of it is kind of empty, except for some electric wires, electrician tools, and electric parts. Ruby excitedly went in, trying to loot all of the tools and tech parts, the rest of the team just entered it, scanning around, searching for a safe place to rest.

They found a room, that looked like the place for the old owner of this store lived. Yang decides to be the first one to enter it. But the door was stuck and the locker was broken. She took her crowbar out and tried to pry it.

Yang: ''The door is stuck and The smell of rotten flesh behind this...fucking disgusting''. She muttered to herself while trying to pry it.

The reason they chose this owner's room rather than any other room is that, inside this store have few rooms to stay, and the only safe room to rest in is the one Yang trying to pry the door off.

Ruby: ''So uhh... there is no other room safer than this?''

Weiss: ''Fortunately, no... there is no room seem safer than that''

Ruby: ''...''. Ruby was just silent after hearing that, her face was telling how disgusting the smell of it was. Blake didn't get any better, she was like very nauseous, after smelling that, she took anti-nausea pills and drank it.

*CRACK* Suddenly the sound of a breaking door appears from Yang.

Yang: ''AHA! the door open! and-...''. She just left speechless... (again...) after seeing things inside of the room.

Inside the room, there is a corpse that is still in a rotten state, but the cruel thing about it... is the corpse of a hanging man, with a lot of deep scratches and bites on his skin, so deep that even to his heart. His organ is everywhere, on the floor, the chair, the table,... maggots and flies swarm around the organ and his flesh. Blood is everywhere. his backpack and equipment on the sofa, and the wall behind the sofa, have a word written by blood, '' Y''. His arm and his leg are on the floor too, getting sliced by a swift cut. Bullet holes are everywhere on the roof and the wall. Also, the smell of Blastpowders is everywhere in the room. No doubt, that is the things those ''illuminated'' Grims did to their victims when the victims on hopeless situations.

Weiss: ''What is inside makes you dumbfounded like that-''. She asked Yang then suddenly her voice cut off, she was shocked when she looked inside it. All of her life, fighting and killing for her life like 10 years, now is the first time seeing the brutality of ''illuminated'' in the torture of their victims...

Ruby: ''...So you finally see it... Weiss... you need to go more 'scouting missions', rather than just choosing 'collected mission'. I know you are a scientist, but you will need to see more things need to be done, rather than just giving those Grims a quick dead by gas...''. Ruby just said it in a sarcastic tone while looking inside of it...

Blake: ''Uhh... yep...I need a box of Vodka after this mission'' Blake said after looking inside it...

Ruby: ''I will buy 3 Barrels of beer, Weiss, wanna join?''

Weiss: ''Alright, I will join then...''

Weiss inside her mind thinks: 'Mother of mercy, what happened to that man... I need some alcohol to refresh my mind after that"

After a little discomfort conversation between them, Yang entered first, Ruby second, Blake third, and Finally Weiss... she will get a little trauma after witnessing the brutality of it.

Ruby: "I will take the corpse down and clean those organs, you guys try to create a campfire or something like that to keep us warm. We will rest, tonight, at this place, right now, is 12:57 pm already. Tomorrow we will continue searching mission"

Ruby after saying that, heads to the hanging corpse, takes it down, and picks up the organs. although it is truly disgusting that those maggots and Flies, are everywhere. But she still has to do it, her teammate's mind are broken and shaking after witnessing it. Except for her, Ruby, of course, has seen a lot of it and even seen things even more disgusting, brutal, and cruel than this when doing 'scouting missions'. Her sister, Yang, is mostly doing 'transport missions' so it is very rare to see something like that. Blake spends her time taking a job as a combat medic in the backline, so it is kind of rare to experience something like this. Then Weiss... spent her time doing her duties as a scientist in the lab and getting paid pretty well until Beacon started to recruit some 'combat scientists' in the field too.

Ruby thinks: 'Another one, another pain in this cruel world...I will need more than 3 barrels of beer after this...poor this guy...'

Ruby: "Oh you guys check his supply and equipment for me. I will bring this corpse outside the store."

Yang hears that just simply nods, still dumbfounded, she puts 4 backpacks down. Go to the sofa, and check the thing inside of it.

Ruby: "Weiss! I need you to make 4 Molotovs for me. They will come in handy in the future. And Blake, searching the room to find any medicine or medical stuff"

Weiss and Blake hear that, immediately doing what Ruby said.

After a while, Ruby finally put all of the corpse parts and organs out. Also clearing out flies and maggots by using chemical gas (Weiss is not like this). At the same time, Yang fired up the fireplace and also checked his backpack and equipment.

Ruby asked Yang

Ruby: "What did you find Yang?"

Yang: "A lot, the amount of it can help us survive a week, and some tools, machinery parts too, and I found something kinda interesting"

Ruby: "So... what it is then?"

Yang: "Here"

Right after that, Yang gives Ruby a blueprint that has a design of some sort of unexplainable machine.

Ruby: "Hmmm, this is interesting. I will try to recreate it, after done this fucking mission..."

after she said that, she put the blueprint in her backpack.

Ruby: "So the amount of supplies he has, can help us survive a week right? full list it"

Yang: "28 MRE packs, 33 bottles of water. I also checked deeper in this room and found the iron box, inside it are 9 candies, 12 cookies/crackers/pies, 3 boxes of sugar cubes, and... 3 baguettes."

Ruby: "How about ammunition? he must have it right?

Yang: "Yes, but I only found a small amount of it. here"

After that, Yang throws 4 mags of high anti-tank caliber rounds at Ruby, which total of it, is only 40 rounds.

Ruby: "Nothing much but still better than not" After that Weiss padded on her shoulder. She turns around and sees Weiss carrying 4 Glass bottles that inside have special liquid with dried dirty clothes on top of the bottles.

Weiss: ''Ruby, here this is your Molotovs, we gonna go sleep now, see you morning... And by the way, we also found a box of wine, if you want to drink it then ask Blake, she will give you one...*yawn*'' After that she headed to her supply backpack (carried by Yang) and took out the sleeping bag and ready to sleep. meanwhile, Ruby is... very exciting?

Ruby in her thought: 'WAIT! A WINE? that shit is rare! I only tasted a glass of wine once in my entire life!'.

Surely, this Ruby loves alcohol, she loves to drink after finishing a mission, beer, rum, and whiskey,... and she loves Wine most, she only tasted one glass of wine made by her mother (aka Summer Rose) when Ruby was young but her mother did not want her to drink alcohol...Now she is 22. She hopes her mother won't find out she is 'almost' an alcoholic like her uncle (Qrow).

(Author's Note: Ruby in this nightmare world also likes cookies but does not have the same level as her love for alcohol, so... 'origin Qrow' you have a good drinking partner now.)

Ruby quickly moves to Blake who right now is grinding herbs to make medicine, while reading and looking at 5 herbal medicine books, sitting next to the fireplace. Ruby ask Blake

Ruby: ''Hey Blake! Where is the wine? Give one bottle for me please!'' After asking Blake, Blake just turns back and looks at Ruby with an 'uh...fine...' face.

Blake pulled out 2 bottles of wine from a nearby box. She gives one wine to Ruby and keeps one for herself. She opened the bottle for both and both two started drinking the wine. Ruby sitting right next to the fireplace near Blake. Happily smiles and asks her

Ruby: ''Yahoo! Wine is so great! I finally can taste it again after 14 years! How about you Blake?'' She said that and turned around to see Blake still slowly tasting the wine

Blake just shrugs: ''I don't know Ruby, It just has some sweet grapefruits, it feels very light too... But surely, I feel my body keep telling me to drink more...''

Ruby: ''That is the spirit, Blake.''

Blake: ''Eh...but you know... it's good, I kinda like it now...''

Ruby: ''Can I ask one thing, Blake?''

Blake: ''Sure then, ask anything, I have also done making medicine now...''

Blake: ''Really? That great!... But still...why do you ask me that question?''Blake asks happily while continues drinking the wine.

Ruby: ''I thought to myself that I should know my teammate better, so I can help you guys when you guys need it. I couldn't stand still and let people around me start to meltdown... It is my responsibility as a captain.'' She said it with a prideful tone while sounding very sad.

Blake: ''... Can I ask why and how you joined SOF? I remember you said you had the same reason as me but how about full details?''

Blake: '' It seems we are not so different from each other...at least... we always enjoy our life, enjoy the joy, share the pain, and even till our last end, we still stick to each other till the end of the world...''. She said while looking at the wine and seeming to be lost in her thoughts, looking back at her past life, the failure, the nightmare, the suffering, and the pain... Suddenly, a familiar voice speak

Weiss: '' I also wanted to join SOF when I was 10 years old...'' Weiss speaks up to the duo while getting up and going to the wine box, taking one out, and sitting right next to the duo.

Blake: ''And why do you want to join?'' she asks Weiss with a gaze of curiosity

Weiss: ''Well then... You heard 'Schnee's noble family, the traitor of humanity' event right?''

Blake: ''Yes I knew that event, but... So you are telling me that you are from that dumbshit family right?''

Weiss: ''Right...well...my full name is Weiss Schnee...''

Blake: ''So then why are you telling us about your identity? you aren't scared we will shoot you down, right?'' Blake asks again with a sarcastic tone

He just answered: "No ideas". but each time I talk with him, I also feel pride in himself as his bodyguard for me and he also tells me the tales of unshakeable soldiers, or legendary explorers, all of it tales hook me, and inspire me to become a soldier and an explorer,... He never tells me his story, but his teammates know his story and tell it. Gosh, I didn't know he was a high-ranked SOF soldier, his story on the battlefield, his victory, his ideas and actions just inspired me." She proudly told her story while drinking the wine.

Ruby: "And how do you know 'how to use a sword'? "

Weiss: "Almost self-learn from the swordsmanship book I found in the library, and 'getting taught' by 'my bodyguard'. I also learned chemistry from my sister too, I want to say I also had some talent with both of them too..." she said in a proud tone.

30 minutes passed, hearing all of the story from Blake and Weiss. Ruby decides it is enough and chugs all of the wine in a few go, and secretly takes 3 bottles of wine and puts it in her supply backpack. She takes the sleeping bag out and gets inside of it. Started to sleep. While Blake and Weiss just chilling beside the fireplace, they tell their story to each other, drinking the wine. They started getting to their sleeping bag after the wine ran out. Saying a few 'good nights' to each other, and sleep...

The night of them is now end, return into the death silence of its origin...

9 hours later

Ruby wakes up first, picks up 'Rithy', and checks outside of the store, the sun is rising, which means is time to move. she goes to the corpse of the hanging man and starts to pour wine to the corpse while muttering herself

Ruby: ''May your soul rest in the peace, soldier. You did great, and you deserve to rest. Now let us carry your duty, you don't need to get back here anymore, you deserve it...''

Before going back in, she pours half of the bottle into the corpse and decides to drink the rest of it. After that, she gets back in, takes her whistle out, ready to use it. She looks her teammates around while they sleeping, they sleep so peacefully that she doesn't want to wake them up, but... they still need to complete this mission before midnight, She has no choice.

*TWEEEEEEEEEEEET*

Ruby: ''WAKE UP! SUN ARE RISING AND WE HAD A JOB TO BE DONE!'' She yells loudly echoing the entire room like a drill sergeant to the recruit.

Weiss/Blake/Yang all instantly get up, kicked by their instinct when hear a familiar whistle sound and the yelling sound. They all stand up and ready their weapon

Weiss/Blake/Yang: ''YES, MA'AM!''

Ruby: ''good! seem like you guys are awake, let packed our stuff and move out to the next destination, we need to complete this mission as fast as possible now.''

Yang: ''I just had a good dream...''

Ruby: ''Don't suck a baby like that, sis. I will give you a good rest after this'' Ruby said smiley

Yang: ''If you say so... Anyway... the wine yesterday was great right, rosy? I wish I could drink a little more but I am so tired from yesterday...'' Yang said while packing all of the team's supplies up.

Ruby: ''Yep it's very good, kinda want to drink it again...*crunch* *crunch*'' After Ruby replies to her sis, she takes out 1 cookie and starts to eat it like her morning breakfast.

Weiss: ''So where do we go next? I already done packed all of the stuff now.''

Blake: ''I'm also done now, and can you give me more ammo?'' Then immediately after that, Ruby throws 2 mags of high-explosive anti-tank on Blake.

Ruby: ''We gonna continue to go to... southeast, at side C, about 300m. To collect the last document about the 'White Cross' clan in the tallest building which has a white oven roof and a helipad too. Be ready guys, I am also warned that dozens of Grims are roaming around near that building, but luckily there will be no ''illuminated'' until tomorrow'' She said while pointing to the city map she took out from her bag.

They continue to plan the way to the mission destination. A few minutes later, they finally decide their plan, they will try to sneak through them. Ruby will plant her decoy sound bomb around the building within 100m of the location to lure those Grims out of their position, Weiss will ready her gas bomb when they try to run across the street, Blake will pick some threaten Grims to them, and everything down bad, Yang will become bait for the team and use AG grenade to take them down.

They are now ready, Ruby/Weiss/Blake/Yang get out of the store, and they walk along the destroyed street. When they reach side C, Ruby takes out her decoy sound bomb and quickly runs to the nearest building, plant 5 of it. She runs back to her team which is now hidden behind a collapsed building. Ruby comes back and sees Weiss is giving Yang and Blake AG bombs. When they see her come back, they nod and start to pick up their stuff, quickly moving out of the position.

Quickly, step by step, not trying to create noise, no looking back, just quickly moving the place they are in. Until they get stopped by Yang. She signals the team that there is a monkey-like Grims ahead, patrolling around on the street, Blake looks back to Ruby, and she just simply nods at her, which signals her to do it. Blake pulled out ''Confodere'', slowly crawling to the Grims, silence. When she is right behind the Grims, she stabs ''Confodere'' into its throat, and cuts the head of it to make sure it is 100% dead. Blake gives the team a thumb and lets them continue moving. They walk silently, for a while until they see a giant building with a white oven roof on top of it. Ruby gives them a signal ''we are here'' and ''get inside this store''. They quickly enter the store and hide around into corner. She whispers to them

Ruby: ''Ok... I will detonate this decoy, when it explodes, they will run out of their hideout, and then Weiss will throw her gas bomb to block both their sight and their way. Alright? We will run in 3...2...1... det.''

*ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR*

The sound of roaring from the distance echoes throughout the entire city, almost all of Grims hear it, and quickly run to the source of it. Hundred or thousands of them, run past the store where the team is hiding, shaking the ground like an earthquake.

Ruby: ''Now move'' She says it, then jumps out of the store window

She detonates it again to make sure those Grims still focus on the source of it. Weiss takes out her gas grenades and throws 3 of them creating a trail of unpassable wall to Grims. They get into the Building and see 17 monkey-like Grims and 1 gorilla-like Grim inside the building. Ruby sees that and detonates the Decoy.

*ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR*

Ruby: ''Contact! Enemy in the building! Weapon free!'' Ruby shouted out, and ready 'Rithy'

Blake opened fire first, she crouched down and aimed with ''Detruanto'' and fired it, right to the heart of monkey-like Grims, and it exploded and then quickly reloaded the gun. Ruby hosted Rithy into a full scythe and fired her short sniper part hitting right into Grims' face destroying its head, and making the dark-fleshy part of it splash around the ground. Yang quickly rushed in and used her electric shotgun gauntlet to fire 6 barrels at once into nearby Grims, shocking the Grim beside it and creating a hole into the Grim's body that was being hit first by her. Weiss takes her sword out, throws 5 gas grenades random around the hall, charges ''Duel'' up, making it glow blue electricity, and she quickly reflex turns back and slashes at the Grim which is trying to flank her, the slash so powerful that cuts the Grim like a hot knife to butter.

Blank: ''reloading!''

Ruby decides to cover Blake while reloading ''Detruanto'', she quickly heats her scythe blade until it reaches 10,000°c by using special power. She hooked the Grim that trying to attack Blake, pulled it into her, and trapped it between the blade. She quickly fired the shotgun part and turned it into a pile of flesh, blood splatted on her face and her armor. Blake continued to fire the next shot after the cost under 2 seconds to reload, it hit right into the middle of Grim's throat destroying completely it, and the bullet continued to fly and hit Grim right in it face, exploding the face. Ruby: ''YANG! lure them to Weiss, she will assist you''

Yang heard that and then used her gauntlet blade to slash Grim's head in half like what Doom Slayer did to the demon. Then she used her shotgun to fire all of the barrels again, kill the Grims getting hit by it, and make 5 Grims note her. They charge at her, and Yang sees it as a chance, she runs into Weiss who calmly slashes any grims that dare to cross the gas wall and charge at her, with 3 corpses lying around.

Yang ran across to the wall and shouting

Yang: ''5 Grims is behind me, I need your assistance!"

Weiss: ''Sure thing, Yang''

Quickly Weiss throws more gas grenades around blocking almost all of Grim's sight, when they breathe the gas, their body starts to weaken, and right after that a flash across their sight, and their body start to lie down the hall, can't even get up, few second later, they are greeted by Yang and Weiss, who looking them with the eye of murdering. Weiss pulled out her ''Codgra'' and Yang ready some sweaty brutal glory kill with Doom Slayer style.

*RWBY-4 squad: 17 kills*

Back in Ruby's place, they now struggle with that gorilla-like Grim, it quickly dodges almost all of the attack from them, and it even tanks 2 shots into head from Blake. Then Ruby decides to slam Molotovs into its face and command Blake to shoot Grim's face, and she quickly shoots into its head, the explosion of the round ignites the liquid, making it burn, and the fire starts to spread quickly. The grim after receiving that, crawling in pain caused by the fire, and Ruby's armor started to burn too, but she quickly used a smoke grenade to distinguish it. Blake sees it drop the guard down, she pulls ''Confodere'' out hurry, heats it, and dashes to the Grim, ready to end its life.

*RWBY-4 squad: 18 kills*

Ruby: ''Seems like all of the hostiles have been eliminated, great job team''

Blake: ''So this seems like those Grims have overrun the 'White Cross' clan...''

Weiss: ''Yeah, I hope we find that document quickly''

Yang: ''Rosy, you know where is it?''

Ruby: ''Yeah I know, it's on the 65th floor, but this place has been abandoned for a long time now, so we must use the stairs to get there if you don't want to then stay here and guard, which those Grims will come back and those stay here getting overwhelmed''

Ruby: ''Roger that''. Then she places her radio back in her bag and asks the team.

Ruby: ''What we should buy after completing this mission? We will get a big reward after completing this, team''

Blake: ''You decide Ruby, as long don't spend all of it on alcohol then it will be fine''

Weiss: ''I agree on Blake, and give me 30% of it so I can buy all of the material for the next mission''

Yang: ''Yep I agree on Blake too, I don't want to carry you back to the bed or something like that after you get drunk''

Ruby: ''Fine, I will not spend all of it...''

39 minutes later

They finally reached the 65th floor and headed to the main office room. Yang tried to open the door but It stuck, she took her crowbar out and pried the door. *CRACK*

The door is finally opened, Yang wants to enter first but hestian by the smell behind the door but Ruby stops her by grabbing her shoulder. She said

Ruby: ''Let me find it, I'm a looter after all and I'm sure that smell behind this is that shit again''. Yang and others just nod and let Ruby go in. They know what is inside and what happens but they don't want to look inside of it.

She opens the door and looks inside it, there is a pile of corpses, and bloodstain everywhere in the room with documents and intel lying around. Various body parts, organs, casting, and weapons,... everywhere. The corpses have been rotten for months now. Mouse, maggots, flies, they are everywhere, inside the organ, the corpse, or even inside the wall... The wall on the left side of the corpse pile in Ruby's eye direction has a word written in blood and is even made by some organs. It says '' T''. Ruby sees it just shrugs her shoulder, and takes out the chemical gas bomb.

Ruby: ''Great... another 'artwork' by those 'illuminated' again''

Ruby goes in and doesn't forget to close the door, ready to search the document. She used chemical gas to dissolve those things to search under it. After a while, she found a strange bag has a sign with the 'TOP SECRET' word on it, under one of those corpses that lying around the corner, she took it and after a few searches in the wardrobe, she found a pile of 'White Cross' documents that matched the picture Ozpin gave her, she grab all of it, and plant a C4 set time about 10 minutes, and place 3 Molotov next to it.

She exits the room, and is greeted by her teammates, they ask.

Yang: ''Have it yet?''

Ruby: ''Yes, and it seems I found some interesting stuff too'' She said while pointing to the strange bag.

Blake: ''Finally, we complete this mission, when will Pelican-1 come?''

Ruby: ''3 minutes left, let's head to the window and wait for them...''

Blake: ''So... Ruby...you know you don't need to always do it for-''

Ruby: '' Shh! No need to say, that is my duty, remember? if yes, then good''

Yang: ''Ruby you are like it again...''

Ruby: ''What? I-''

Weiss: ''Although I agree that is your responsibility to help us stand still in this nightmare land, sometimes you also need someone to do it for you too...''

The entire team started to run to the helipad floor which is the 66th floor, lucky for them. quickly, they met the helicopter are waited for them on it.

Radio: ''This is Pelican-1, I see you guys now, get in quickly, those Grims will come in a few more minutes''

Ruby answered back on the radio: ''Rother that!''

Then the team just headed to the helicopter and quickly got in it. After all of them are on board. The helicopter started to ascent, leaving the city. The explosion with the fire suddenly appears, making all of the Grims that just come back get crushed by the debris and get burned by the fire.

Yang: ''did you plant the bomb right? Rosy?''

Ruby: ''Uhh, no?'' she said with a satisfied smile

Yang: ''Forget about it, I need to get back the base and get some sleep...''

Weiss: ''I will need alcohol when we get down...''

Blake: ''...me too, finally we can rest properly now...After 6 days traveling in that wrecked city...''

Ruby: ''You guys seem to need a professional drinker like me heh?" she said with a happy smile.
