Hello! Here's a new chapter! This was supposed to be uploaded last Saturday, but I got tired and stopped working on it. But now it's finished! I hope you all like it!

When they made it out on the other side, everyone noticed that they were inside of a building. They ended up getting hit by a skewer, losing their powerups.
"So, I guess this is Bowser's castle?" Kai asked.
"Hmm.." Peach looked around. "I don't think so."
"Wait really?" Kai asked, a little confused.
"This looks like a fortress instead of Bowser's castle. I don't see any of his statues or portraits anywhere." Mario replied as they avoided another skewer.
Once they were in an area without skewers, everyone ate Super Mushrooms and 1-Up Mushrooms. They also took out more powerups to use, like Gold Flowers, Penguin Suits, and Spring Mushrooms. A Boomerang Bro threw a boomerang at the group, but missed. He threw another one and hit Peach, making her lose the spring powerup. Mario, using the Gold Flower powerup, threw a golden fireball at the enemy, defeating him.
Two Hammer Bros were up ahead, standing on top of some blocks. Once they saw the heroes, they began throwing their hammers at them. Daisy, wearing a Penguin Suit, jumped onto the blocks and threw ice balls at the Hammer Bros, freezing them. She picked up one of the frozen Hammer Bros and threw it against the wall, defeating the enemy. Daisy picked up the other Hammer Bro and did the same thing.
Everyone jumped onto a platform where a green warp pipe was on the ceiling. They went through the pipe and arrived in another room, where there were Chain Chomps, Piranha Plants, Spinies, and other enemies. Mario was hit by a fireball from a Fire Bro, making him lose his Gold Flower power up. Mario reached into his pocket and found a Rock Mushroom inside. Using the mushroom, Mario transformed into a giant boulder. He began to roll around, knocking down the enemies.
Mario jumped onto another platform and knocked down the Goombas and Spinies that were on it. The others helped out by throwing fireballs at the Piranha Plants or jumping on Koopa Troopas. Everyone cheered as Mario continued to knock down more enemies.
"Alright! Go Mario!" Daisy screamed.
As Mario knocked down a group of Koopa Troopas, a Chain Chomp ran towards him and hit Mario, making him lose his power up.
"Oh goodness! Are you alright, Mario?" Peach asked.
"Yeah, I'm ok, Peach." Mario replied.
Everyone moved out of the way before the Chain Chomp could attack them. They jumped onto a higher platform where a Sumo Bro and two Koopa Troopas were standing. The Sumo Bro pounded his foot on the ground, creating thunderbolts. Luckily, everyone dodged it. Before the Sumo Bro could create more thunderbolts, Luigi stomped on a Koopa Troopa and threw its shell at the Sumo Bro, knocking him down.
After fighting the other Koopa, the group jumped on more platforms and fought more minions. Soon, they made it to the top of the fortress and stood in front of a big red door. Everyone ate a 1-Up Mushroom and Mario opened the door, letting everyone inside.
Everyone gasped when they saw so many of Bowser's minions in the room. Before they could react, Pom Pom threw her shuriken at Luigi, hitting him and making him lose his powerup. Kai jumped on Boom Boom's head before the Koopa could hit anyone. Kayden and Kacey threw fireballs at some Goombas that tried to attack them. A Magikoopa shot his magic at Jasmine, hitting her. She took out a Super Bell and now wore a Cat Suit.
Jasmine pounced on the Magikoopa before he could disappear. Once the Magikoopa was defeated, she helped Daisy fight some Monty Moles. Peach and Mario used Fire Flowers and threw fireballs at the Rocky Wrenches. Luigi, now using a Tanooki Suit, avoided Pom Pom's attacks and flew into the air and landed on her head. As he avoided Pom Pom's shell, he helped out Kai by jumping on Boom Boom's head.
Kai jumped on Boom Boom's head again, finally stopping him. Kai decided to help Luigi out and jumped on Pom Pom's head. Luigi and Kai avoided Pom Pom as she hovered in the air in her shell, trying to land on them. When she landed on the ground, she popped out of her shell and created two clones of herself. The three Pom Poms threw shurikens at the two guys, but Luigi and Kai dodged them. Luigi flew into the air and stomped on Pom Pom's head, finally defeating her.
Luigi looked around and saw that the others were almost finished fighting the other minions. Once all of the enemies were knocked out, everyone made their way out of the fortress. When they made it outside, Mario gasped.
"Look! Bowser's castle isn't that far!" Mario exclaimed as he pointed towards the large castle.
"Oh yeah! We'll be there in no time!" Luigi cheered.
"Let's hurry! Summer's been waiting long enough!" Daisy said.
As everyone ran away from the fortress, Kai smiled to himself.
"Don't worry, Summer! We're almost there!" He thought.
