Damon and Bella were up all night searching the boarding house for any signs of Stefan's plans with John. They finally found a hidden package in one of the coats by the door, most likely for easy access for the dinner party. Opening it they found a dagger Bella recognized being used on Kol and a bottle of ash, Damon placed those down on the table before rushing off and coming back with a piece of coal and a dagger putting them in the place of the dagger and ash. Bella then wraps it back up like it was and puts it back in the coat pocket. Hearing branches breaking in the distance Bella shared a look with Damon who remembered the warning about the wolves attacking. Hiding the dagger and ash in a nearby drawer just in case, Damon led her to the door and out onto the porch like they weren't walking into an ambush.
Stepping down the steps to the driveway, when Two werewolves dropped down from the roof as they attacked Bella held off one while Damon the other as three more showed up and the female wolf from her visions who was holding a shotgun. Bella managed to snap the arm of one of the werewolves before throwing him away from her and snap the neck of another before hearing the gun being cocked and feeling a searing pain in her shoulder and hearing it being cocked again and going off a second time. The pain from being shot in her shoulder distracted her enough that one of the wolves got behind her as she was fighting off another as her neck was snapped which made Damon pause briefly before his neck was snapped by the female.
As Bella healed her snapped neck, she caught a glimpse of the four wolves sent after Mason. The male he called Brody was still trying to sway Mason to join their pack even as Katherine moved into the shadows to attack when they, realized they wouldn't convince Mason to join them. She also sent out a text when she realized the larger group had been sent to the Salvatore boarding house.
Coming to Bella could make out Damon in chains with a spiked collar around his neck the spikes digging into his neck as they pulled on the chains. The female was standing in front of Damon and looked to be annoyed at his constant refusal to cooperate and use of sarcasm. The wolf Bella broke the arm of noticed Bella was awake and got the females attention before gesturing towards Bella. On seeing Bella sit up she moved the gun from pointing at Damon to pointing at Bella and began threatening again.
"Where is the moonstone," Damon meeting Bella's gaze looked back at the female and spoke. "Get over it honey; you're never going to get it." Jules cocked the gun in her anger but before she could shoot Bella with it, she was interrupted by another's arrival.
"Looking for this," Elijah appeared at the entrance of the room and as he spoke, he pulled the moonstone out of his pocket. Like the wolves as he then placed it on the table Bella looked at the moonstone noticing the two curses on it. Confused since she was sure only one curse on the stone had been mentioned Bella missed what happened next as her vision spun and she was seeing the Viking village and the witch as she closed her grimoire and turned towards Elijah and Finn Bella caught a glimpse of the curse she had written down. Bella watched as she then blew some powder into the faces of the two originals before chanting quietly before ordering them to go get their siblings and bring them to her. She picked up the moonstone she would use muttering about making sure that she could prevent him creating more even if she could not prevent him from breaking the curse again later. Cursing the girl for hiding her child and Ayana from cloaking him so she could not end the bloodline completely. The witch reached the site just as the sun went down, a little while later as the moon was over head the siblings walked up to her, though Kol was not with them, and they confirmed they could not find him the witch said very well before breaking the necks of all the siblings and with a chant wipes their memories of her using her magic on them like she tended to do to get her way. Moving Niklaus into the circle before chaining him up in case he awakened too soon. She then began chanting and pouring blood on the stone as she went, Niklaus began to stir just as she finished binding the second curse to the stone feeling weaker than noticing he couldn't connect to his wolf he asked her what she had done. To which she replied what she should have done as soon as he changed, she bound his wolf side so he would not be a hybrid and would allow Mikael to kill him easier, which would earn her Mikael's forgiveness with Niklaus's death. This increased not only his fear but his anger at the betrayal, allowing him to rip off one of the chains and rip her heart from her chest. He had removed the rest of his chains just as the others came to and he explained what had occurred in his rage deciding to leave before Mikael showed they headed to the village in search of Kol. They find him tearing the witches hut apart and shoving her grimoire into a bag before looking for Ayana who explained that she did not know how to break the curse Esther cast, but she would investigate it but that they needed to leave before Mikael caught up to them for killing Esther.
Bella's vision blurred as she came back to Damon cleaning up the room from the wolves and Elijah no longer present. Damon had unchained her and seeing her having a vision had placed her on the couch with her journal in her lap. Writing down what she saw and deciding to ask Eljah about it when they give him the dagger at the dinner Bella heads to shower the blood away. Changing into a black crop top sports bra and matching black high waisted legging, Bella makes a list for the grocery store and meets Damon at the door who had also showered and changed into his usual black outfit. As they shopped for the ingredients to make a Greek meal that Jenna requested Bella caught a glimpse of the professor answering his phone and saying that of course, he would substitute for the class before her sight focused back on the store.
That night Bella dreamed of Kol slaughtering half the church in his anger and desperation, his face covered in blood like a face mask. Before switching to him, finding a large diamond in a room and left the house only to be confronted by Klaus and an older version of the boy he tried to turn before his second daggering. While writing her visions down in her journal Bella listened to Elena convince Stefan to come with her to the cabin stating that her father could handle the plans for the dinner with Alaric's help. It took a little more convincing, but he relented to her wishes by lunch, and they left together. Bella started the prep and the cooking shortly after they left only to have Damon take over so she could change just before the others arrived. She changed into a red lace crop top and a pair of high waisted, wide legged pants that had a cream and red floral pattern on them with her braided sandals and braiding her hair into a crown braid before going to let Jenna in hearing her on the porch succeeding in giving Alaric the silent treatment for siding with John on something that was said early that day if Alaric's apologies were anything to go by. Taking Jenna to the dinning room and then going to help bring the food to the table Bella and Damon smirked as they heard Alric answer the door to let John and Elijah in only to have them both being threatened to not pull anything before, he acted like nothing was wrong as he greeted Jenna.
As they all began sitting down John commented that he thought the Salvatore's prided themselves at being Italian hoping to get a jab at Damon and Bella. Bella and Jenna smirked having discussed that her father's side of her history was more impressive of the two.
"Yes, I believe you grew up with my mother Renee, who is of Italian descent, but you like the rest of Mystic Falls seem to forget I have a father too which the reason for the hyphen in my last name though the town likes to drop the Swan from my name when I'm in town. My father comes from a founding family of Forks Washington though they were Greek immigrants when they founded the town. Forks doesn't like to brag so much about its founding family as much as Mystic falls does though." Bella placed the Greek panzanella salad down, Damon setting down the garlic lemon shrimp and linguini with lemon and burrata before they joined the others in sitting.
Jenna taking that as her que to get in on the aggravating John informed him that it was not surprising that the founders tried to brag so much since it turns out they hadn't founded anything. The rest of the dinner went the same as they decided to finish the conversation in the sitting room to have the dessert. Bella pulled Jenna to the kitchen saying she was getting first dibs on the food. Hearing John then Alaric rummage through the coats before cussing under their breaths, Bella decided it was time to end the farce. Giving Jenna two servings of dessert she compelled her to go home and eat with Jeremy. Bella shook her head as she walked past the two men not at all surprised that the woman still was not protected from compulsion it seems they hadn't learned their lesson from Katherine.
She followed Alaric and John back into the living room standing in the entry way as they stopped short upon seeing Damon handing over the dagger and ash to Elijah. Bella watched the anger flash around him before he acted quickly snapping both John and Alaric's necks. Calling Elijah attention to her so that she could ask her questions and fill him in on a few of her visions Bella began speaking.
"I had a vision when they purposed the dinner of a witch giving two male witches a package and we searched the house for it just before the wolves attacked yesterday. Also, when I got to see the moonstone for the first time it triggered a vision that your brother is going to want to know about." Bella was no longer pretending that he hadn't put together who she was by what he had seen of her and by what Katherine had told him, which he no doubt shared with his brother so he would know who they were dealing with.
Elijah's anger was tempered but still there as he pulled out his phone looking at Damon before dialing the number he asked if he wanted to join Katerina in killing the warlocks. In response Damon smirked then vanished off to the Lockwood cabin to get there before Katherine left and started the fun without him. He spoke rapidly, filling Katherine in on the betrayal and Damon going along with her to end their lives stating that yes, she was right about not trusting them. Ending the call with a promise of a new pair of heels, he placed his phone back in his coat pocket before motioning for Bella to lead the way out to the car. They drove across town to a mansion that was being renovated still before getting out of the car and walking inside.
Entering a room that looked to be the more casual of the sitting rooms on one of the leather two seaters sat Niklaus with a cup of blood on a table nearby and a sketch pad in hand. He looked up as Elijah walked towards the table not yet acknowledging Bella he spoke, "Brother I thought you were going to be playing of the hating me and wanting to kill bit for a while yet too the others in town." To that statement Elijah simply placed the dagger and ash down on the table in front of his brother before walking to the chair to the right and sitting down. Bella remained in the doorway for now watching Niklaus's emotions take over his face as anger won out.
Niklaus then looked at Bella who met his Blue green eyes and felt her vision take over Bella decided to say what she saw. Viewing the scene of the quarry near town with three Fiery rings on the ground each holding a woman. One held Elena, one the female wolf, and the last held Rose Bella then noticed off to the side was a makeshift altar made of rocks and john was chained to the side of it with a male warlock she had not yet seen standing on the other waiting to begin the ritual. As her vision focused Niklaus was now standing in front of her though anger was still the main emotion his posture was relaxed as what she said alleviated some of his fears though not his anger at the betrayal of the witch. "You've been most helpful, love."
Elijah commented from his spot, "She claims to also have had a vision upon seeing the moonstone, which caused her to have a question for you." Stepping into the room Bella pulled out her beads and began swinging them in her hand as she moved to stand behind Elijah. Niklaus having moved to hide the dagger and ash out of sight. As she moved, she noticed Klaus's phone showing him texting a Maddox to bring a Greta to him he had something for them to do, and Elijah had a text from Katherine saying it was done and the type of shows she wanted as promised.
"I would be willing to answer any questions for the khrēsmoí thanatou, but perhaps after we deal with the last of the traitors." Bella and Elijah nodded their heads once agreeing with him as they heard the approaching footsteps.
The warlock from her vision of the ritual could only be Maddox as he stopped at the doorway nodding his head in greeting Elijah and Bella when he realized they were also present. The witch walked in with an air of superiority and only paused in her walk when she heard Bella playing with her beads. Turning her head to face them, Bella watched the anger flash across her face as she quickly masked it back to neutral. Though her emotions seethed with anger as she turned back towards Klaus disrespecting his brother completely.
"Klaus, we were preparing the ritual for you to body jump with the teacher as you agreed. Unless of course there something I could help you with?" Her voice took a seductive tone at the last part of the statement, hoping Klaus wouldn't acknowledge the anger she showed at the other two present in the room. Klaus decided he wanted to play instead of confronting her out right, meeting Eljah eyes they seemed to want to see what other plans she might have in mind if the dagger hadn't worked.
"There is actually my brother seems to believe he found the oracle and that she can insure me of my curse breaking. I wanted the two of you to confirm she is who she says she is, for me." The witch seethed in anger more at Bella being called the oracle and for working with the originals and not against them like she was. The male warlock took in the room and seemed to realize it was a set up for the witch who had been making some interesting comments when the originals were not present. Deciding to help her hang herself more he spoke up.
"The best way to tell if she is a fake or not is to ask her a question," The witch cut him off, deciding she wanted to anger Bella and get her killed for not being on the witch's side, by speaking again.
"Yes, the Kassandra's cursed, can prove her worth by answering a question even some of the spirits have trouble answering." Bella outwardly did not show her anger at the insult, inwardly the disrespect shown by the nonbelievers in using her name to describe the oracle being used by a witch who should no better than to anger one of Bella kind.
Maddox noticing, the witch forgetting who was present and showing her true colors helped her focus more fully on Bella forgetting about the two originals in the room as he fueled her anger. "Why not ask her to locate the coffins since we could easily confirm if she's lying or not."
Bella didn't have to wait long as with how angry she was at Bella for being on the originals side she didn't think through her question. Bella changed the rhythm of her swinging beads and meet the witches gaze while speaking her eyes beginning to glow as she spoke the words she used for nonbelievers. "You do not believe and yet you seek answers, you need only ask nonbeliever."
Bella's statement only made her anger show on her face as she asked, "Where are all the Mikaelson's that are not present" Bella along with the others caught the implications of her wanting to find Mikael before her vision changed to the basement with four coffins as it changed again Bella stopped herself from speaking as she glimpsed of an older male desiccated in a tomb. As her vision focused on the room around her, she caught the witch in the middle of her statement "the Kassandra cursed is a fake she couldn't even tell you where Mikael was, she'll be of no use to you."
The witch didn't seem to realize her mistake in saying that until Klaus had his hand around her throat and was lifting her in the air her emotions quickly changing from anger to fear as his hand slowly cut off her air supply.
"Tell me love, why were you looking for Mikael behind my back," She moved her mouth, but no words came out before Klaus was talking again. "It doesn't matter for that betrayal alone I will kill you, but you should also know you will be joining your father and brother in death for trying and failing to dagger my brother. With the dagger you stole from me no less." With one last squeeze he snapped her neck and let her drop to the floor before looking at Maddox.
"Dispose of the trash wont you Maddox and then come back, you should be present for the rest of this since it seems we are now going with Elijah's and your plan about asking the oracle when Katherine first brought her to my attention."
Bella could see the smugness coming off him in waves as he removed the body with a nod. She kept swing her beads knowing she would be asked to see some more that night but moved to a chair to the left of the room but still facing where Klaus was sitting as he took a large gulp from his glass and his anger turning to annoyance now that the traitor was handled, he switched to all charm as he placed down the now empty glass and faced Bella.
"Elijah said you had some questions for me," Bella nodded before speaking herself.
"I am an oddity in more than one way as I am sure you and your siblings will come to know over time," Bella ignored their smirks as she confirmed that she would meet their siblings. "I don't just have visions I can also see what others can't and when I spotted the moon stone the other day, I saw that it had two curses on it one being tied to the other." She waited as they processed what she said before Elijah speaking in rapid Norse spoke, "She would have had to have done both when she cursed you but choose not to say anything not wanting you to find a way around it" Bella was verry proud she understood what was being said though she gave no indication that she did as Klaus moved to meet her gaze. Nodding to him she spoke again. "Ask, believer."
"Will the second curse be triggered?" Bella's eyes glowed once more as the power washed over her and she let herself be carried into the visions. The first was of Klaus his hybrid face on full display seething in anger as he yelled in Norse and English about doing everything right, surrounded by werewolf bodies that he attempted to change before another took its place of Mason in the completely renovated mansion surrounded by the Mikaelson siblings with Kol looking smug, as Mason's face shows his completed transition with blood on his lips. Bella's vision blurs as she's greeted with Niklaus's face again, as she waits for a response to what she had seen, Maddox joins them and sits down on the other side of the two-seater next to Klaus.
Elijah sighs then finally speaks his mind, "You know he would have the answers. No matter his anger or his unpredictability, if anything the chance to meet and work with her would appease him some, though I cannot guarantee he would not annoy her with his questions." Bella could tell he was trying to bargain with the paranoia that was starting to show in Klaus's emotions at the mention of undaggering his siblings.
"It's the unpredictability that worries me, if he decides to run off anyways with Mikael still on the loose."
Maddox, deciding to join in on battling the paranoia, spoke next. "She can easily help with finding Mikael and how we deal with him too. Her vision spoke of all your siblings being there not just the smug one you're focusing on." Both brothers looked at Maddox then each other as Elijah raised his eyebrow at Klaus. Bella waited for him to meet her gaze again and ask, when he decided how to word it he meet her gaze.
"Where is Mikael the destroyer to be found and where can the white oak be found?" He decided to ask both questions together to help with the planning. Bella's vision blurred as she once again saw the older desiccated male in chains in a stone coffin before being brought to an iron gate outside a mausoleum with a sign that read Pickett Mausoleum in Charlotte North Carolina. Then she saw a stake resting in Mikael's coat pocket, then the bottle of ash Klaus just hide, she then spotted the four daggers three of which were in the chest of the siblings, she then saw a carved wooden knight resting on a fireplace mantel in one of the rooms, finally she was shown the bridge leading to town and the welcome to Mystic falls sign.
Her visioned blurred for the last time that night as she saw Elijah had gotten up to pace as he thought of plans before sharing them determination being the biggest emotion Bella could make out as paced. Maddox seemed to remain levelheaded, having been used to dealing with the sibling's moods, he spoke once more. "We can work in stages since we still have time to make Klaus's deadline for wanting to break his curse. Tomorrow the two of you can take care of the bridge and the sign, then you can use the rest of the day to prepare to take care of Mikael. All three of us can leave the following day to do that since he's desiccated that should be easy enough and with me there, we should be able to handle any surprise the witch left for anyone trying to wake him. When we come back, we can awaken your siblings with enough time to figure out what the second curses loophole is and let your siblings adjust to the new century they are waking up in."
Bella spoke up also feeling a little peckish and tired after using her gift and not letting the visions just come naturally, so many times without much of a break to recuperate spoke up as she leaned back into the chair. "You can also let Damon know and he can get a hold of Sage for you if you no longer have a way to contact her." At this both originals gave her a look, so she explained, "Sage mentored Damon after he was turned because the town had gone to hell at the time, and he didn't know Katherine wasn't in the tomb at the time. When I was turned, he brought me to her to be taught since his last attempt at siring someone resulted in a sire bond. Also, I've had visions of your family since Damon brought me back to town so he could mess with his brother."
Klaus seemed to be contemplating something before he spoke to Bella, "you should get home love, you can have your uncle meet us at the bridge to go over the new plans." Bella nodded before rushing back towards the boarding house as she drank a blood bag she filled Damon in on their new plans tomorrow before going to bed.
