-The Clones-

Clone Ness and Lucas were hanging out in Lucas's room. They were watching a movie and eating popcorn. Ness was still sad about Leaf, but with Lucas's help he was doing fine. Lucas was helping him forget about all the bad and what he said earlier about maybe being able to fix their friendship gave him a bit of hope.

He doubts she'll ever forgive, but a guy can dream. He knows that they'll never be a couple again, and honestly, he didn't want to. He's happy with Lucas. It does suck that they broke up the way they did, but in a way he felt relieved. He's no longer cheating and he doesn't have to juggle his attention between the two.

Having one person is a lot easier. Man, if only he did this in the beginning instead of being a cheating jerk. Hopefully he and Leaf can be friends. He knows it won't be any time soon, but maybe in the future.

"Oh hey, by the way I'm gonna go get groceries. Want to come?" Lucas asked.

"I think I'm gonna go for a walk actually."

"By yourself?"

"Yeah, if that's ok."

"Of course. It's just… Are you sure? What if you start thinking about Leaf? Who's going to comfort you?"

"I'll call."

"You promise?"

"Yeah, I promise I won't bottle up my feelings anymore."

"Ok, but please call me if you start to feel sad."

"I promise."

With that, they split ways. Ness went to go get fresh air. He went to the park where he and Leaf would hang out. Now he's looking at the city view from the park alone. He started feeling sad. Perhaps he should call Lucas.

"Didn't think I'd run into you."

Ness turned around.

"Sonic?"

"What's up, buddy."

"What're you doing here?"

"I felt sad, so I went to get some fresh air."

"Hey me too!"

"Why are you sad?"

"I'm kind of always sad."

"Yeah? Wanna talk about it?"

"Why do you care?"

"I care."

"So, why are you sad?"

"I asked first."

"Leaf dumped me."

"Saw it comin.'"

"Gee, thanks."

"Although, I'm also on the same boat."

"Samus dumped you?! Oh, right. It's because you kissed Daisy."

"You saw the video, huh?"

"Why'd you do it? I didn't strike you as the cheating type like me."

"I didn't cheat. Daisy threw herself on me. That video you saw was edited."

"I believe you."

"And another thing… Wait, what?"

"I believe you."

"Y-you do?"

"I know you wouldn't cheat."

"I'm surprised. The one person I thought would attack me for this, is on my side."

"Is no one else on your side?"

"Fox and Falco are."

"Well make me the third person that doesn't believe in that bullshit."

"Wow. I don't know what to say. Um, thank you."

"Don't mention it."

"So, did Leaf find out about you dating Lucas?"

"No. I… I really messed up."

"What happened?"

"I… There's so much."

"Hey, I've got all night."

"You actually want to hear my problems? You're not gonna threaten me or say I'm a dumbass?"

"Dude, we're not even a year old. We're both dumbasses."

"True."

"But I think even though we're barely taught anything, we're learning fast."

"Well, I did learn that cheating is a horrible thing to do. I always knew that, but… Now I really know how much it affects people."

"Gotta learn somehow."

Ness told Sonic the whole story about his dating life. From start to finish. He talked about how he and Leaf met. He expressed how he slowly started feeling guilty about lying to everyone. He talked about the whole Nana issue and how Leaf found out anyway. The last thing he talked about was Luigi raping him. He was hesitant at first, but he felt comfortable telling Sonic.

Clone Sonic is the only one that understands him. They're both clones and they both have to live the lives of their originals. He didn't expect Sonic to talk about his issue, but he did and that allowed Clone Ness to let his guard down and show his true vulnerable side.

"I'm so sorry. I had no idea," Sonic frowned.

"It's my own fault."

"That may be true, but the whole Luigi thing… You didn't deserve that."

"I dunno. Ever since that night, it has made me reflect a lot."

"Are you saying it's a good thing?"

"In a way, yeah. Deserved or not, I realized I'm no better than Luigi. I mean, the people I've slept with think I'm Ness, but I'm not him. I'm doing the same thing that Luigi did to me."

"That's not the same. We didn't ask to be here. It's true that maybe it's wrong, but also I don't blame you. I mean, I did the same. I slept with Samus."

"..."

"We are Sonic and Ness… At least that's what we're forced to be."

"I still shouldn't have slept with them."

"We're young and dumb. I think that excuses it."

"You think?"

"Yeah. You're a bit of an asshole, but I know you're a good person. I mean look, you feeling bad about this proves my point."

"I guess…"

"It'll be ok."

"I don't want to live this life anymore."

"You have no choice."

"I know…"

"It'll be fine. I'm sure it'll get better."

"Do you… Do you think of Sonic sometimes?"

"Not really."

"Why?"

"I dunno. I've been replacing him for so long that I really do think I am Sonic."

"Do you feel bad about the lies?"

"Sometimes. But then I realize that it's not my fault. I'm being forced to do this."

"You don't mind living Sonic's life?"

"Honestly, no. I like his life. I know it sounds awful, but it's my honest feeling. Do you think about the original Ness?"

"Yeah. I feel bad. Call me crazy, but sometimes I fantasize that we're friends."

"What? You bullied him. You called him pathetic."

"It's because I didn't want to live his life."

"So, you do like him?"

"His friends keep talking about him. He sounds like a decent guy. Although, just like me, he has mental problems. I can relate. It makes me want to get to know him. I feel like we could be friends. I could help him with his awkwardness and he could help me understand what patience and boundaries are."

"I guess."

"Is that weird?"

"A little. I mean, he's our enemy."

"Yeah… I know."

A moment of silence passes.

"So are you happy that Mario gave us a life?" Ness asked.

"I am."

"You don't regret anything?"

"I regret some things. Like how I treated you in the past. Sorry about that by the way."

"It's ok."

"It's not, but do you forgive me?"

"I do."

"Thanks."

"No problem."

Another moment of silence passes.

"Do you… Do you like Mario?" Ness asked.

"I do. Sure, he's forcing us to live a certain life, but I'm glad he gave us a chance to live in the first place."

"I see."

"So you've never thought of killing him?"

"Have you?"

Ness bit his tongue. "No."

"He gives me a reason to live. All I've ever done is listen to his orders."

"So if he was gone, you wouldn't know what to do?"

"Yeah. I'm at a loss. Wait, you're not planning on killing him, are you?"

"N-no. I was just curious if you felt the same. He's kind of like our dad."

"We think more alike than I thought."

"Yup, haha…"

"Well, I guess what I'm trying to say here is that we're both being bossed around by Mario, but he is the one that gave us life in the first place. If he really didn't care, he would've killed us a long time ago. I mean, we've messed up a lot, yet we're still here."

"That's true."

"He's not as bad a guy as you think. He does have a sweet side to him."

"Maybe to you. He doesn't like me."

"If he didn't like you, you wouldn't be here."

"I suppose."

"He likes you. You just tend to not listen and that pisses him off."

"I know."

"If you start listening, trust me, he's a different guy."

"Yeah, ok."

"I listen, that's why he's nice to me. You should behave more."

"Ok. I'll do that."

"You've grown a lot."

"You think?"

"Yes. You still have a lot to learn and so do I, but let me tell ya, if you keep growing like this, Mario will make sure our lives will be comfortable."

"Right. Um, thanks for chatting with me, Sonic."

"Feeling better."

"Yes," Ness lied.

"This talk made me feel better, too."

"Us clones gotta stick together, right?"

"Yeah, us clones gotta stick together."

-Back And Ready To Attack-

"Now where we were?" Luigi turned his attention back to his victim.

Ness closed his eyes. He covered his ears too, but Luigi grabbed his hands and pinned them down. Luigi gave Ness one bad hickey. After he was done, he showed Ness the cuffs.

"I like it kinky," Luigi commented.

"..."

"Do you like being kinky?"

"No…"

"Don't be like that. I know you'll like it."

Lucky was struggling to break out of Gooigi's grip. He freaked out when he saw the goo monster pick up the Pokeball. This is it. He's going to be put away. This might be the last time he'll ever see his buddy.

No, Lucky refused to accept this. He didn't know what exactly happened, but the intense emotion of rescuing his friend made him evolve into an Espeon. Lucky used psychic on Gooigi which caused him to explode.

Luigi and Ness turned their attention to Lucky. The Espeon used his telekinetic power to pick up Luigi and throw him across the room. Ness immediately took off the shock collar. He ran to Lucky and gave him a hug.

Gooigi put itself back together. It went after the two of them. Ness used PK Rockin at it. The Goo monster once again splattered.

Luigi got up and threw his green fireball. Ness absorbed it using PSI magnet.

"Lucky, use psychic!" Ness ordered.

"Espi!"

Luigi was hit hard with that ability. His brain felt like it wanted to explode. Ness used PK Rockin at him. Luigi was blasted against the closet. It was hard for him to get back up. That's when Lucky used his telekinetic power to bind him in the air. Ness grabbed the cuffs and cuffed Luigi's hands behind his back.

Ness: "Come on, Lucky, let's go," he said, destroying the poltergust 3000.

Lucky: "Espi!"

Luigi: "W-wait! No, you can't just can't leave me here."

Hmm, what if Luigi tries to escape before Tina sees him. That's not good. He punched Luigi's head, knocking him out. He grabbed Lucky's ball and together they left the room.

He went back to his room and sat down on his bed. He needed a minute to himself. This is the second time Luigi tried to fucking rape him. Lucky hopped on the bed and snuggled up on his side.

"Thank you, Lucky. Without you, I don't…" Ness trailed off.

"Espeon~"

"But because you evolved I'm not sure smash will accept you back."

"Espi?"

"They're going to get another Eevee to take your spot. Espeons aren't part of the Pokemon item roster."

"Espeon. Espi."

"I'm sorry you had to evolve because of me…"

"Espiiii!"

"I'm sorry I couldn't keep my promise to take you back to the item room."

"Espi."

"Well, since you have nowhere to go, do you want to stay with me?"

"Espi! Espi! Espi!"

Lucky tackled Ness onto the bed and gave him a bunch of kisses.

"Hahaha! Ok! Ok! I'll take that as a yes~" Ness gently pushed Lucky off of him.

Ness showed Lucky around his room. When he entered his bathroom, he stared at himself in the mirror. His hair was roughed up and he had a noticeable hickey on his neck. He rummaged through his closet and wrapped his neck around with a scarf to cover the hickey. The two were hanging out, but then Ness realized that maybe being in his room wasn't the safest decision. He returned Lucky back into his ball and left before the clone saw him. He can have his room. For now.

Ness was walking around the mansion trying to find Mario's room. However, he stopped in his tracks when he saw his best friend. He saw Lucas holding an empty reusable bag.

"Oh, hi, Ness. Are you done with your walk?" Lucas walked over to him.

(T-this isn't real.)

"Hm? Oh you're probably wondering about the empty bag. Toon Link distracted me. He begged me to go to the mall with him. He wanted me to help him pick out a gift for whenever Tetra arrives."

"Lucas…"

"Anyway, I'm heading over to the grocery store right now. Did you want to come along?"

Ness didn't say anything. He pulled Lucas into a tight hug and started ugly crying on his shoulder.

"N-Ness!" Lucas was shocked.

"I… I missed you so much. I… I'm sorry."

"Ness… I told you to call me if you started feeling sad. Did you bottle it up again?"

"Y-you don't understand… I… I'm so happy to see you right now."

"Ness, are you ok? You're acting as if we haven't seen each other in like a year."

"Lucas… I'm so sorry," Ness hugged him tighter. "I'm so so sorry…"
