In the city, on Tuesday the 29th of March, Spider-Man and Ghost Spider were both sitting on a rooftop together in the Easy Village part of New York, looking around.

"Things sure are quiet today." Ghost Spider noted.

"For now." Spider-Man said. "I don't like it."

"You sure about that, Spidey?" Ghost Spider asked.

"Yeah." Spider-Man agreed.

Ghost Spider turned to him and lifted her mask up to her mouth.

"Oh, you worry too much sometimes." she smirked, raising his up to his mouth. "Now, come here, bugboy?"

She pulled him in and kissed his lips passionately, which he returned, when their Spider-Senses tingled, making them pull away.

"What was that?" Ghost Spider asked.

"I don't know." Spider-Man said, as they lowered their masks. "We better check it out."

They both jumped off the rooftop and swung down to investigate.

Down in the street, four thugs with ski masks on were all inside a conveyance shop, all with crowbars.

"What do you want?" the storekeeper asked behind the counter.

"Hand over all the money!" the head thug snarled. "Unless you want your store to be trashed."

"But I've got a family!" the storekeeper argued. "Please?"

He turned and looked at a picture behind him, which had him, his wife and five kids, three boys, two girls.

"Well, tough luck then." the leader spat. "But if that's the case, maybe we'll leave you enough to get by, right boys?"

His men all laughed.

"Now, trash this place up!" the leader ordered. "Don't leave anything standing!"

"Right, boss." one of his men said.

The other two nodded, then one knocked over some tins of food that were on a shelf with his crowbar, while the other did the same to a bunch of cereal boxes. The third smashed open a freezer glass case in the back, while the leader knocked over a bunch of vegetables.

"Please, stop?" the owner begged. "Don't?!"

"It's either this or hand over your money?" the leader offered. "So, take your pick?"

The owner gulped, not liking the options as the four thugs approached him.

"Stop right there!" a female voice scowled.

"Huh?" the thugs muttered.

"Who said that?" the leader demanded.

"I don't know." one of his men said.

"Behind you, scum." the voice said coldly.

The four thugs all turned and saw a female figure in a white suit standing outside in the doorway, which covered her entire body. The mask had yellow eyes, with small black stripes all around it, and long black hair sticking out of the back in a ponytail, and she also had a green amulet shaped like a tiger's head wrapped around a belt on her.

"Who the devil are you?" the leader demanded.

"Your worst nightmare." the girl snarled.

She extended claws from her gloved hands, as the thugs glared at her.

"Get her boys!" the leader said. "She's only a girl."

"Oh, you'll regret saying that." the girl said.

The thugs all charged at her, then when one tried to whack her with his crowbar, she slashed it with her right claw, slicing it in half.

"What the?" he gasped, backing away.

The girl jumped and kicked him in the jaw, knocking him before he fell onto his back out cold.

"Boy, this girl's fast." one of the others admitted.

"Sure is." the other said.

"What are you waiting for?" their leader asked, glaring at them. "Get her!"

The other two thugs came at the girl, who glared at them both, then she sent her claws at them both, cutting open their jackets and shirts, making them back away.

"Ah!" they yelped.

They looked prettified at the girl, before she jumped and split kicked them both, back flipping away as they both hit the ground out cold.

"Oh!" they moaned.

The girl turned to the leader and glared at him, as he gritted his teeth.

"You're fast, girly! I'll give you that." he admitted. "And you've got claws. But I'm still gonna take you down."

"We'll see about that, you thug." the girl sneered.

She lunged at the thug, who tried to whack her with his crowbar, but missed as she ducked, then she clawed up his chest, cutting his shirt open slightly. He tried to whack her again with it, but missed as she grabbed it, then she pulled it out of his hands, shocking him.

"Whoa!" he yelped.

"You've lost." the girl snarled.

She punched him right in the face, knocking him out cold, then she rubbed her hands.

"Better let the Cops pick up the trash." she thought.

She turned to the owner, who stared at her.

"You okay, sir?" she asked.

"Yeah. Thanks." the owner said.

"You better call the Cops to pick these creeps up." she advised.

"Oh, I will." the owner said. "And thanks again."

The girl nodded, then jumped up against the store wall, then onto a lamppost, then onto the store's roof and out of sight.

The owner looked up and smiled, just as the Spider Duo landed near him.

"Whoa! Someone beat us here?" Ghost Spider noted.

"Yeah, but who?" Spider-Man wondered, turning to the owner. "Did you see who did this?"

"Yeah. A girl dressed up like a feline." the owner explained.

"Black Cat?" Ghost Spider questioned.

"No." the storekeeper said. "She was all white, like a tiger. And she took out these creeps."

The Spider Duo turned to each other confused.

"Can you show us the footage?" Spider-Man asked.

"Sure." the storekeeper said.

Unknown to them, Kraven was sitting on the rooftop opposite, examining the mess.

"Looks like the little kitty's come back." he smirked. "I will get that amulet this time. But perhaps for this hunt, I might need some help - especially with those Spiders are gonna be looking for her. I can't have them ruining this one."

He took out a phone from his pocket, then dialled a number on it, calling for someone who he hoped could help him.

Inside the store, the owner showed the Spider-Duo the footage of the female tiger hero defeating the thugs.

"See what I mean?" the owner said. "She's white and like a tiger."

"Well, thanks for showing us." Spider-Man said.

"No problem." the owner said. "I'm gonna call the Cops."

"Okay." Spider-Man said. "Come on, Ghost."

He and Ghost Spider both left the store, then turned and began crawling up the wall towards the rooftop, before they climbed onto it.

"Well, she's defiantly not Black Cat." Ghost Spider said.

"Yeah. Looks like we might have a new recruit." Spider-Man said. "I'll call Daisy tomorrow and talk to her about this Tiger woman."

"Okay." Ghost Spider said. "See ya, web-head."

"Back at you, Ghostie." Spider-Man joked.

They both jumped up and began to swing off towards their respective homes.

Meanwhile, the female tiger costumed figure climbed into an apartment, then closed the window. She had black hair that was tied in a ponytail coming out of it, before she took off her mask, showing she was an Hispanic teenager with brown eyes. She walked over towards a few pictures on a set of drawers, which she then looked at.

"I'm honour your legacy, father." she said.

She picked one up, which had a younger version of her with her father, which had written on the names 'Hector and Ava Ayala'. She put it down and sighed, before looking at another, which had her father Hector and his father Nestor, her grandfather.

"I will make sure Kraven pays for what he did to you both." she vowed.

She turned and walked towards the bathroom, stripping from her suit as she did, leaving her in pink lacey underwear.

"I'll start my search again tomorrow after school." she thought. "I better take a shower though before bed, as I worked up a sweat back there."

She closed the door behind her, ready to take her shower before bed, after the long night she had.

The next day, at Midtown, Peter was going through his locker, sorting out his stuff while thinking about that White Tiger woman he and Gwen had seen last night.

"I wonder who that girl is?" he thought. "She seemed like the opposite of Black Cat, and not just by her color. She was more heroic unlike her. I think Daisy's gonna like this one."

He closed his locker and turned to walk off, seeing Gwen, Mary Jane and Harry waiting for him outside class, as they all had History now.

"Hey, guys." he said.

"Hi, Peter." Gwen said.

"Hey, buddy." Harry said.

"You okay?" Mary Jane asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine, MJ." Peter assured. "Why do you ask?"

"Well, you know, about someone sending Mark to kill you." Mary Jane recalled.

Peter sighed and looked at his friends, as it had been a five days since finding that out, and he was still unsure why someone would want him dead as himself and not Spider-Man.

"I'm okay." Peter said. "I'm still unsure who would do that though and send Mark after me?"

"Maybe someone's jealous of you." Harry suggested. "How, I'm not sure of."

"Still, it's weird." Gwen said. "Just who would want Peter dead? It doesn't make sense."

"No, it doesn't." came a voice.

The four teens turned and saw Miles and Anya coming towards them, the latter of which had spoken.

"In the time I've gotten to know Peter here, I haven't seen him make any enemies at all." Anya recalled.

"My Dad told me the Police are just as baffled." Miles said.

"So did my Dad." Gwen said. "He finds it weird."

"Unless someone hates me taking pictures of Spider-Man, I don't know who could want this." Peter said. "I'll just have to keep a better eye out."

Gwen smiled and nodded without the others noticing, as she was definitely gonna help him in this matter.

"How's Liz doing?" Mary Jane asked. "I mean, Mark's her brother after all."

"She's still upset." Peter said. "You'll probably see it yourself by the end of the day."

The bell then rang, telling them it was time for class.

"Well, we better go." Anya said. "Miles and I have Prof. Warren first."

"See you." Gwen said.

"Adios." Anya said.

"Bye." Miles said.

He and Anya turned and walked off, as the others walked into the History Classroom, which was empty, as they were the first ones in.

Meanwhile, Kraven was standing on a rooftop, looking around.

"Still no sign of the Tiger or the Spiders?" he thought. "Hmm? Maybe they're busy at the minute."

"I see you haven't changed much, Serrrgei." came a voice.

Kraven turned around, and saw his half-brother the Chameleon standing behind him, in his natural form.

"You know me all too well, Dimitri." Kraven said. "Still got that belt of yours to help you change."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. What do you vant vith me, Serrrgei?" Chameleon asked.

"I need your help." Kraven explained.

"RRReally? Serrrgei Krrravinoff, the vorrrld's best hunter needs my help?" Chameleon smirked, folding his arms.

"Yes." Kraven said.

"And may I ask why?" Chameleon asked.

"You remember my previous times to steal the White Tiger Amulet?" Kraven asked.

"Da." Chameleon answered. "Both times backfirrred as I rrrekall."

"Well, I've now got another chance now, as there's a new White Tiger on the loose." Kraven explained.

"So why do you need my help?" Chameleon asked.

"Because I saw the Spider Duo not long after that." Kraven explained. "I need help to deal with them, after that disaster at the Zoo last autumn."

"You don't zink you'll be able to get yourrr prrray vith zem arrround?" Chameleon inquired.

"Da, brother." Kraven said.

Chameleon glared at him.

"Just how exactly vould I deal vith zose tvo veb-heads?" he asked.

"That's up to you." Kraven said. "Just keep 'em busy until I get the amulet, then we can kill them both together. I've heard they've been giving you a pain too."

"Ha! Quite a lot of villains in zis city dispise zose tvo." Chameleon spat. "Now why should I do zis? Give me rrreason?"

"Because you're my brother." Kraven said.

"Other zan zat?" Chameleon spat. "And ve'rrre only half-brrrotherrrs, as ve sharrre same father!"

"Because your skills of being a master of disguise are my best chance." Kraven explained. "I really need your help in this. And, we can easily kill the Spider Duo and end this hunt afterwards, if you're interested."

Chameleon put his hand on his chin, thinking hard.

"Okay, fine. But let us plan zis out together so zerrre's niet mistake. I don't vant zose Spiderrrs to embarrrass me like zey did you, brrrother." he said.

"As you wish." Kraven said.

They both moved closer towards each other, then began planning their move for tonight.

Later, as school ended, Peter was by his locker, taking his stuff out, while Miles came towards him.

"Hey, Pete, can I have a word with you?" he asked.

"I... Okay, but be quick?" Peter said. "I've gotta go somewhere."

"Relax, it won't take long." Miles assured.

"Okay, what is it?" Peter asked, closing his locker.

"Well, you see..." Miles began, as Peter put his backpack around his shoulder. "When you did find out you liked Gwen?"

"Liked her? As in more than a friend?" Peter inquired, folding his arms.

"Yeah." Miles nodded.

"Well, it actually started when I was 13." Peter began. "She started around a year later from what she told me. But, due to our years of friendship-"

"You were both worried it might've ruined it?" Miles finished.

"Sort of." Peter said. "And, I was too shy back then as well."

"You, shy?" Miles questioned, chuckling. "I've never seen you like that."

"Miles, that was a year ago." Peter said. "Our one year anniversary's in about four weeks."

"Oh." Miles said. "Wait, Gwen told me that the day I met you both."

"I only started coming out of my shell after Uncle Ben died." Peter explained. "Couldn't let Aunt May struggle by herself."

"Oh, right. I see." Miles said.

"So, what's this about?" Peter asked. "You starting to get a crush on someone?"

"Yes." Miles sighed. "I've never had this before."

"Well, it happens at different points in life." Peter said. "My Aunt told me she and Uncle Ben didn't have this till after High School, although there were friendly at the time. As for my parents, well..."

"You're not sure since they died when you were young?" Miles inquired.

"Well, from what I've heard, they met on the job instead of school." Peter said. "Got married a year later."

"Oh, I see." Miles said. "I'll have to ask Dad about this."

"Yeah, he might be better." Peter said.

"Still, thanks, Pete." Miles said. "I'll see you."

He walked off past Peter, who turned to him, just as Gwen came over from down the hallway.

"What did Miles want?" Gwen asked.

"I'll tell you later." Peter said. "We still up for finding our tiger friend?"

"Sure am, Pete." Gwen said. "Just hope she's easy to find."

"Same here." Peter said, as they linked arms and walked off down the hallway.

As they both did, Prof. Warren stared at them both from behind, eyeing Gwen's butt deliciously, licking his lips without anyone noticing.

A little later, the Spider Duo were swinging together through the city, Spider-Man having told Ghost Spider what Miles had wanted with him.

"I'm surprised Miles asked you that?" Ghost Spider said.

"Trust me, I know." Spider-Man said. "Now come on? We've gotta find that Tiger lady."

"Well, why don't we split up?" Ghost Spider suggested. "Cover more ground that way."

"Good idea." Spider-Man said. "Keep in contact."

"Okay. Good luck." Ghost Spider said.

She began to glide down towards her left, as Spider-Man swung right to search for White Tiger.

Meanwhile, White Tiger herself stood on a rooftop in the Upper West side, looking around.

"Things seem a bit quiet for now." she thought. "Still, that might not be the case in another area."

She turned and began running along the rooftop, then jumped onto another one, followed by another, but then stopped when she heard a noise.

"Huh?" she muttered.

She looked around, recognizing the noise as a drum, which felt familiar.

"That sounds familiar, but from where?" she wondered.

She moved slowly along the rooftop while looking around, not seeing a sign of anything or anyone, before the drum stopped.

"Okay, that was weird." she thought. "I hope I'm wrong, but my heart tells me something bad's coming."

"Well, well, well, look what the cat dragged in." a cold voice said.

White Tiger gasped, recognizing the voice from years ago, before she turned around, and saw Kraven standing on a nearby taller rooftop.

"Kraven?" White Tiger gasped. "What are you doing here?!"

"Just thought I'd see how the new White Tiger is doing?" Kraven smirked.

White Tiger glared at him, extending her claws from her hands.

"Looks like I've touched a nerve, kitty-cat." Kraven smirked. "Come and get me, if you dare!"

"You are going down, Kraven!" White Tiger swore.

She jumped up as Kraven turned around and ran off along the rooftop. She landed just short of the roof, digging her claws into the wall, then she climbed onto the rooftop, but saw no sign of him.

"You can't hide forever, you monster!" she growled. "You won't get me like you took my father and grandfather!"

She looked around the rooftop, wanting to find Kraven, who poked his head out from behind a roof fan.

"Prefect." he smirked.

He ducked down and touched Chameleon's belt, for he was actually been Chameleon, as the real Kraven had been playing the drums.

"I've got her attention, and she's prrrity pissed off." he reported.

"Exactly what I want." Kraven smirked. "Begin phase 2 and lure her to the Central Park Zoo."

"Underrrstood." he said.

He touched the belt and turned back into his half-brother.

White Tiger kept looking around on the rooftop, her masked face filled with anger, but couldn't see Chameleon or Kraven.

Nearby, Spider-Man landed on the side of a building and looked around, before he spotted White Tiger.

"Ghost, I've found her." he explained. "She's heading for Central Park."

"Right! I'm on my way." Ghost Spider said.

Spider-Man jumped from the wall and swung down towards White Tiger, who's masked face was filled with more anger.

"You'll pay for what you've done, Kraven!" she vowed.

She turned around as she heard Spider-Man land behind her, due to her senses.

"Yah!" she yelled.

"Whoa, hold it?" Spider-Man asked, holding his hands up.

White Tiger glared at him, eyeing him carefully.

"Are you okay?" Spider-Man asked.

"What do you care?!" White Tiger snapped.

"Well, you look lost." Spider-Man said.

"Just stay away!" White Tiger snapped. "This doesn't concern you, Spider-Man!"

"Oh, so you have heard of me?" Spider-Man smirked. "I feel honored by that."

White Tiger glared at him.

"Okay, bad joke." Spider-Man gulped, backing away slightly. "Man, she's pretty mad. I wonder what's wrong with her?"

The drums began to beat again, getting their attention.

"What's that noise?" Spider-Man said.

They both looked around as the drums got louder.

"I know you're there!" White Tiger roared. "Come out, you coward!"

She ran along the rooftop as the drums got louder.

"Hey, wait up!" Spider-Man called, following her.

"Stay out of this!" White Tiger roared, jumping off the rooftop.

Spider-Man ignored her and jumped after her, before they both landed on the ground and looked around.

"Oh, look who's here." came a voice.

Both heroes turned and saw Kraven nearby - actually the Chameleon in disguise - staring at them.

"Kraven!" White Tiger growled.

"Well, been a while, Kraven." Spider-Man said.

"Indeed it has, Spider-Man." Chameleon said. "Where's your partner? I thought she'd be with you?"

"She'll be here, Kraven!" Spider-Man promised. "Then you can try and get us like before."

"Ha! To be honest, this time you two are not my prey." Kraven scoffed. "Although getting you two will be a bonus in this hunt."

Spider-Man looked confused as White Tiger growled.

"It's me you're after, isn't it?!" she growled. "That's why you played those drums to get my attention?!"

"As you say here in American, 'Bingo'." Kraven remarked, impressed. "Now, come and get me, if you dare?"

He turned and began to run off, throwing a smoke pellet down to hide his movements.

"Okay, that's new." Spider-Man thought. "He never used that before!"

"He's mine!" White Tiger growled. "Keep out of my-"

"Wait?" Spider-Man asked, grabbing her arm as she began to move forward. "He wants you to follow him blindly! You'll walk right into a trap!"

"I don't care!" White Tiger growled, pulling her arm free. "This is personal!"

She kicked Spider-Man's chest and knocked him back, before she turned and ran off, before jumping off the rooftop.

"Man! She sure knows how to hit." Spider-Man noted.

"Spidey!" a voice called.

Spider-Man turned around and saw Ghost Spider gliding down towards him.

"I got here as quick as I could." Ghost Spider said. "Where is she?"

"Over there, and she's chasing Kraven." Spider-Man explained.

"Kraven?" Ghost Spider gasped. "What's-"

"I have no idea, but she's really mad at him." Spider-Man said. "How, I don't know. Come on."

"Right behind you." Ghost Spider said, remembering when Kraven held her Dad hostage last autumn. "I gotta a score to settle with him."

They both jumped up and began to swing off after White Tiger.

Nearby, White Tiger was on a rooftop near Central Park, looking around.

"You can't hide your scent, Kraven." she huffed.

She stopped and sniffed around, when she heard a noise, making her turn around, to see the Spider Duo perched on the edge of the rooftop.

"Spider-Man?" she growled. "I see your partner's come along."

"Whoa. She's got a temper." Ghost Spider whispered. "Look, we need to talk to you."

"I've got more important things to do!" White Tiger growled.

She turned and began to run off, when Spider-Man jumped up, somersaulted forward and landed in front of her on his feet, making her stop.

"Hey, hold it?" he asked, holding his hand out. "We're serious. Why are you so desperate to stop Kraven?"

"I told you, this is personal!" White Tiger snarled.

"How?" Ghost Spider asked, coming up behind her. "How is this personal to you?"

White Tiger turned slightly so she faced them both.

"You wouldn't understand." she said.

"No, I doubt you two would, Spider-Man and Ghost Spider!" came Kraven's voice.

"Kraven?" Ghost Spider gasped.

"Show yourself!" White Tiger demanded.

"Oh, temper there, little cat." Kraven smirked.

"What do you want, Kraven!" Spider-Man demanded.

"Oh, nothing much. I just want a play a game with the tiger, Spider-Man." Kraven explained.

"I'll play no game with you, Kraven!" White Tiger growled.

"Oh, I think you will, if you want to find me that is. Come and meet me in the Central Park Zoo so we can see who is better hunter to his prey." Kraven smirked.

"It's a trap." Spider-Man muttered.

"This is not good." Ghost Spider gulped.

White Tiger ignored them both, fury in her eyes.

"I'll be waiting for your arrival, kitty-cat. I know how much you want me, and the Tiger Amulet will soon be mine!" Kraven declared.

"I'll get you, Kraven!" White Tiger growled. "And you're not getting your hands on it!"

She began to move, when both Spiders got in front of her.

"Outta my way!" she growled.

"Look, you can't just-" Spider-Man began.

White Tiger kneed him in the groin in anger, making him fall to his knees, then she kicked Ghost Spider's belly as she came towards her.

"Oh!" she moaned, falling onto her back.

White Tiger growled and ran off, as both Spiders got up and turned to her.

"She's gonna run right into a trap." Ghost Spider said.

"I know. We've gotta stop her." Spider-Man said.

They both ran after White Tiger, who kept on running along the rooftops as she got closer to Central Park. They both then saw White Tiger jump off the rooftop, when another showed up nearby.

"Two White Tigers?" Ghost Spider questioned.

"But..." Spider-Man said.

He looked at the second closely, seeing Chameleon's belt around her waist.

"Nice try, Chameleon!" he roared, shooting webs at him.

Chameleon growled and backed away, turning back into himself as he ducked, not surprising both Spiders.

"How'd you tvo know?" he demanded, his accent thick with anger.

"You're not fooling us!" Ghost Spider roared. "We've seen you transform ourselves several times, due to that belt you have!"

"So give it up, Chameleon!" Spider-Man advised.

"Never!" he spat. "Go to hell, you frrreaks!"

He turned around and ran off, as both Spiders stared at him.

"We gotta stop him!" Ghost Spider said.

"You go after Chameleon." Spider-Man said. "I'll stop White Tiger from doing something she'll regret. The way she is, she's bound to kill Kraven if I don't."

"Okay, got it." Ghost Spider said.

They both jumped off the rooftop then gilded down towards the park, Ghost Spider heading for Chameleon, Spider-Man for Kraven and White Tiger.

In Central Park, White Tiger ran along a bridge over a pond, looking around for Kraven.

"You can't hide forever, Kraven!" she vowed. "I know you're no coward!"

She made it across the bridge and looked around, seeing no sign of Kraven.

"I won't rest until I find you and make you pay for what you've done!" she vowed.

She turned and ran off, stopping near the entrance to the Zoo, when Spider-Man landed behind her.

"Oh, the Zoo?" he said. "No surprise there after what happened last time."

White Tiger turned and growled at him.

"What are you doing here?" she growled. "I can handle this alone!"

"Look, I've faced Kraven before and I know what he's like." Spider-Man explained. "Blind rage isn't gonna get you anywhere!"

White Tiger turned and ran off, kicking the door open as she did.

"Okay, I defiantly need a different approach." Spider-Man thought, running after her.

He turned and saw her running to his right, making her follow her, before she stopped and looked around.

"I will have my revenge on you, Kraven!" she thought, as Spider-Man came up behind her.

"Hey, slow down?" he called. "You don't know what you're doing!"

"I told you to stay away!" White Tiger growled. "I have to make him pay for what he did, and no one's gonna stop me!"

"Okay, I get it, this is personal." Spider-Man said. "But you don't know what to expect like this. You need to-"

White Tiger growled and began to run off, when Spider-Man's Spider-Sense tingled.

"Look out!" he yelled, shooting a web at her.

It hit her back, making her turn to him angrily as he pulled her back, just before a electric net fell from above her.

"Huh?" she gasped, turning to it. "How did you...?"

She turned back to Spider-Man, who approached her.

"Spider-Sense." Spider-Man explained. "It's a sixth sense Ghostie and I have that alerts us of danger."

"Oh." White Tiger said. "Well, thanks."

"Why are you doing this?" Spider-Man asked. "I mean, what's with all the anger?"

White Tiger glared at him, but then softened.

"I lost some people close to me thanks to Kraven." she explained. "I'm gonna make sure he pays for it. I'm gonna avenge them."

"Look, you need to control your anger." Spider-Man said. "It's exactly what he wants. You'll walk right into a trap! He's bound to have rigged this place with them."

They both turned to where the net was.

"He did this once before when he lured me and Ghost here." Spider-Man explained. "Unless you think before you act, he's gonna beat you in this."

"Then what do you suggest I do?" White Tiger growled.

"Lure him into a trap instead, one he won't suspect." Spider-Man said.

White Tiger thought for a minute, when an idea came into her head.

"Okay, but I'll some help." she said. "I can't spring it without bait. Truce?"

"Truce." Spider-Man said.

They shook hands, preparing to stop Kraven together.

Elsewhere, Ghost Spider landed on a rooftop, then looked around for any sign of Chameleon.

"I hope I'm on the right track." she thought.

She looked around when she heard a noise, making her turn left to a billboard, seeing a shadow duck behind it.

"Gotcha." she thought.

She ran towards the edge of the billboard and peeked out from behind it, but saw no sign of anyone.

"You can't hide that easily." she thought.

She jumped and crawled along the billboard, then once on the other side, she peeked out from it, and saw a shadowy figure near a generator fan.

"Got you now." she thought.

She jumped out from behind the billboard and dived towards the generator, but saw then landed on her feet as Spider-Man rose up from behind it, confusing her.

"Spidey?" she questioned. "Where's White Tiger?"

"Oh, I lost her." Spider-Man lied, coming towards her.

Ghost Spider backed away, before noticing Chameleon's belt, giving her an idea.

"Lost her?" she questioned. "The Central Park Zoo is not a maze as we've been in there before."

"Oh... What I meant was; she gave me the slip." Chameleon lied. "I don't think we can get though to her."

"Okay." Ghost Spider sighed. "Now come here?"

Chameleon moved towards her, but then she kneed him in the belly, catching him off guard.

"Huh? Ghost-" he began.

Ghost Spider jumped over him, then shot webs from both her web-shooters, which hit a water tower and generator, as Chameleon turned around to her. She then let go of her webs and shot towards him, kicking him with both feet and sending him right into the billboard.

"AHH!" he moaned.

He hit his back against it, then fell onto his chest. Ghost Spider landed near him on her feet, as he turned back into his normal self.

"Nice disguise, Chameleon." Ghost Spider joked. "Too bad it couldn't fool me. Spider-Man never gives up that easily."

"Arrrrghh ! You vill pay forrr zis! ! My brrrother and I vill make of zat! Arrrrghh ! I svearrr on-" Chameleon began.

Ghost Spider webbed up his mouth before he could finish.

"Sorry about that." Ghost Spider smirked. "But you've just brought yourself a one-way ticket to jail, which you'll never escape from again."

She took out her phone to call the Cops, while hoping Spider-Man had found White Tiger.

Back in Central Park, Kraven was aiming a crossbow as he approached a pond area of the Zoo.

"The kitten can't stay hidden forever." he thought.

He moved slightly, then saw White Tiger looking around, who hadn't spotted him.

"Prefect." he smirked.

He shot and fired his crossbow at her as she turned around, before she was pulled back by a web that was on her back, which her hair had covered.

"Huh?" Kraven gasped.

He ran to where she was, then stopped and looked around, seeing no sign of her. He looked around carefully, before White Tiger jumped out from behind a bush behind him, kicking his back and knocking him away.

"AH!" he yelped.

He fell down right into the pond, before he rose up and turned to her.

"Sneaky move, kitty-cat." Kraven admitted. "But it won't save you."

"I'm not alone in this, Kraven!" White Tiger snarled.

"Huh?" Kraven muttered.

White Tiger back flipped away, as Spider-Man dived over her and shot webs from both his hands, hitting Kraven's chest and face, blinding him.

"AH!" he moaned.

He stumbled back as Spider-Man turned to White Tiger, then held his hands in a boost position.

"Going up?" he joked.

White Tiger ran towards him, then put her foot on his hands before he boosted her up, then she dived down towards Kraven, as he ripped the webbing off his face.

"Huh?" he gasped.

White Tiger kicked him in the chest with both feet, knocking him away towards the Sea Lion pond, almost falling into it.

"Oh!" he moaned, landing on his back.

He pulled himself up and shook his head, as Spider-Man shot a web at his back.

"Time for a spin." he joked, spinning around.

He pulled Kraven up via his web line, making him spin around, before he let go, causing Kraven to fall into the pond with a splash.

"Ouch." Spider-Man joked. "That won't hold him long."

"I'm prepared for that." White Tiger assured, as her amulet glowed.

"What's that for?" Spider-Man asked.

"My amulet gives me my power. I won't let him take it!" White Tiger swore. "I promised my father that."

Both heroes turned as Kraven rose up from the water, before he threw a knife at them both, but missed as Spider-Man jumped up, while White Tiger dived towards him. She landed on her feet as he pulled himself out of the water, then she grabbed him by the chest, bent down onto her back and kicked him away, sending him flying away.

"AHHH!" he moaned.

Spider-Man watched from perched on top of rock in the pond, before Kraven hit the ground on his back.

"Oh!" he moaned.

White Tiger approached him, her face filled with anger, as her amulet glowed, as Kraven looked up at her.

"Now who's dumb enough to take the bait, Kraven?" she snarled.

"Huh?" Kraven muttered.

"We planned this when Spider-Man told me about you setting traps all over." White Tiger explained coldly. "Thought we'd set one up for you."

"Cleaver. But how do you-" Kraven began.

"My father taught me how to control my power, as his father taught him!" White Tiger snarled. "They also taught me when to cut loose!"

She extended her claws from her hand and approached Kraven, preparing to finish him, when Spider-Man landed between them.

"Hey, wait?" he said. "What are you doing?"

"Making things right!" White Tiger snarled.

"How; by killing him?" Spider-Man asked, pointing at Kraven. "Killing him won't make things right. You'll end up becoming just like him!"

"That's right." Kraven sneered. "Do what-"

Spider-Man turned and webbed Kraven up, including his mouth.

"Shut up." he said. "Tiger, why are you doing this?"

"He took my father away from me, forever! Same with my grandfather!" White Tiger snarled. "You don't know what it's like to lose something you love!"

Spider-Man sighed. "I do, actually." he said.

White Tiger's eyes lowered slightly, as she hadn't expected that.

(Flashback)

Peter was crouched near the dead body of his Uncle Ben, with Lt. DeWolff and other Cops and people around him.

"My Uncle was killed, for no reason at all."

Peter cried his eyes out.

"I set out to find out who did it."

Spider-Man held Dennis Carradine up by the window at the warehouse.

"But when I did, I found out it was someone I let go. I also realized that revenge wouldn't bring him back."

Carradine backed away towards a window, but then tripped backwards and fell through the glass.

"AHHH!" he screamed.

Spider-Man ran towards the window.

"My Uncle always told me; with great power..."

Spider-Man shot a web out from his right hand, catching Carradine just inches away from the ground and death.

"...comes great responsibility."

Spider-Man sighed and jumped out of the window and swung off.

"I chose not to become like him, to sink to his level."

(Flashback ends)

"That's why I do what I do, despite everything Jameson says about me." Spider-Man explained. "To make sure no one else has to suffer like me."

White Tiger looked at him, his story hitting her deep.

"I'm sure your father and grandfather would want you to do the same." Spider-Man said, touching her arm. "Make the right choice?"

White Tiger looked from him to Kraven, then retracted her claws.

"You're right, they wouldn't." she sighed. "Still, we can't just leave him here."

Spider-Man touched the side of his mask, as his phone on the inside rang.

"Spidey, the Cops are on their way." came Ghost Spider's voice. "Just tell me you've got Kraven?"

"We do, Ghost." Spider-Man assured, turning around. "We do, and this time, he won't get away."

Later, Capt. Stacy stood by his Cop car, as other officers - including Sgt. Davis - bringing Kraven and Chameleon towards him.

"Here they are, sir." the Sgt. said.

Capt. Stacy looked at Chameleon, then snatched his belt off him.

"Hey!" Chameleon exclaimed.

"You're not getting away with one of your disguises." Capt. Stacy said. "Load them up, boys."

Nearby, White Tiger and the Spider Duo all stood on a rooftop, seeing them load Kraven and Chameleon into the cars.

"They'll be gone for a long time." Spider-Man said.

"Yeah." White Tiger agreed.

"Are you okay?" Ghost Spider asked, concernedly.

"Yeah, I'm fine." White Tiger assured. "And I'm sorry for acting aggressive to you both before. That drum noise of Kraven's really got to me."

"That's probably how he beat your father and grandfather." Spider-Man deduced.

"Must've been." White Tiger sighed. "I hope he pays for what he did to them."

"He will." Ghost Spider assured. "So will his half-brother over there."

She pointed down at Chameleon, making Spider-Man recall he time he was zapped to that alternate dimension, where in that world, Kraven and Chameleon were also half-brothers. They all watched as the Cop cars speed off down the street and away from the park.

"Thanks. I have a feeling you both finding me wasn't a coincidence?" White Tiger inquired, turning to the duo.

"It wasn't." Spider-Man said.

"We were looking for you actually." Ghost Spider explained.

"Why?" White Tiger inquired.

"We're looking for heroes all around the city for a certain team as a favour to a friend." Spider-Man asked. "We found out about last night when you stopped that robbery."

"And you think I'm worthy to be in it?" White Tiger inquired.

"Yes." Ghost Spider said. "And you're not the first we've noticed since we started."

"I..." White Tiger sighed. "I'm not sure."

Spider-Man approached her and touched her hand.

"Here." he said, putting a card into it. "That's the address of their base. She gave me the cards last time I met her, easier to tell people where to go. At least think about it."

White Tiger looked at him, not sure what to say, but also remembering his story about his Uncle and her father's and grandfather's legacy.

"I'll think about it." she said. "And again, thanks for the help."

She turned around and ran off, jumping off the rooftop with a lot to think about.

"So, how'd you get through to her?" Ghost Spider asked.

"I told her about how I lost Uncle Ben." Spider-Man explained. "I understood her pain. Kraven had killed her father and grandfather to get that amulet but failed. I figured if by telling her how I become Spider-Man didn't work, nothing would."

"You did the right thing." Ghost Spider said. "If any story's an inspiration, it's yours."

"Thanks." Spider-Man said. "Come on, let's go."

They both jumped off the rooftop and began to swing off through the city, wondering what White Tiger's decision would be.

The next day, Spider-Man was outside the Jr. Avengers base, as it was after school, on the rooftop with Daisy and Patriot, telling them both about what he and Ghost Spider found out about White Tiger.

"Man, that's harsh." Patriot remarked.

"Yeah." Daisy agreed. "Becoming angry and aggressive to avenge someone isn't the right thing to do."

"At least you managed to talk her out of it, Spidey." Patriot said.

"Well, I've been there myself." Spider-Man admitted. "I knew that was my only option, seeing how angry she was."

"Guess experience does count for something." Patriot said.

"It does." Daisy agreed. "Pity you couldn't convince her join. She'd be a good addition."

"Well, it's her choice and she didn't say anything." Spider-Man said. "Guess she wasn't interested."

"Not quite." came a female voice.

They all turned to see White Tiger approaching them.

"Is the offer still open to join?" she asked.

"You'll have to ask them." Spider-Man said, pointing at the others. "I'm just helping them find recruits."

White Tiger looked at Daisy, who approached her.

"Spider-Man told us about what you've been through." she said. "But it's your choice if you wanna join."

"I've had a lot to think about since last night. I think my father and grandfather would want me to use my powers for good." White Tiger explained. "Right now, I think by joining you, I've got a chance to do that."

"Well, welcome aboard." Daisy said.

"And by the way, when we're not in costume, my name's Ava. Ava Ayala." White Tiger explained.

She raised her mask up to show her face, showing she her face to them all, then she lowered it.

"You coming?" Patriot asked.

"Well, I need a word with Spider-Man first." White Tiger said.

"Well, we'll see you inside then." Daisy said.

She and Patriot both approached a door, which she opened, then they both walked inside.

"Your story about your Uncle hit me deep." White Tiger explained. "I'm sure he'd be proud to see you doing what is right. I know my Dad and grandfather would be if he saw me stop thanks to you."

"Thanks." Spider-Man said.

"And, again, I want..." White Tiger began.

She moved forward and hugged him tight, purring slightly as she did.

"Hey, easy." Spider-Man said. "My partner's the jealous type."

"It's okay." White Tiger said, pulling away. "I'm not the type to chase after boys with girlfriends. It's just my 'thank you' for helping me find the light."

"Well, look, as long as you don't flirt with me, I'm sure Ghost won't mind." Spider-Man said. "She's already mad at one of your new teammates for that."

"I understand." White Tiger nodded. "And again, thanks."

She turned and walked towards the door, but then stopped and turned to him.

"Speaking of which, where is Ghost Spider?" she asked.

"Helping my Aunt out." Spider-Man answered.

"She the only family you have left?" White Tiger asked.

"Sort of." Spider-Man sighed, as he still didn't know about his long-lost sibling. "Since my parents died when I was young, she's been my mother figure."

"Well, I will say this, she and your Uncle brought you right." White Tiger said. "You're a lucky man, Spider-Man."

She opened the door and closed it behind her.

"Well, that's four recruits Ghost and I've found." Spider-Man thought, as he jumped off the rooftop.

He turned right and began to swing off through the city.

"And I gotta admit, we're getting pretty good at this." he thought.

He somersaulted forward as he let go of the web.

"Wahoo!" he whooped, as he glided down on his wings.

A/N: White Tiger's costume and appearance is based on her from the first half of Ultimate Spider-Man. Out of all episodes showing Spider-Man's teammates backgrounds, I thought hers the most heart-warming. It's one of my top 10 episodes on that series so I could resist doing something similar.
