In the city, on the night Saturday the 23rd of April, Peter and Gwen were sitting at a table together in Risotteria Melotti restaurant in East Village, as it was their first anniversary since they became a couple. They both had decided to let Miles portal by himself tonight, feeling he was ready, and as he'd been training more with both them and Jessica, so he had more control of his Venom Blast if he needed it.
The couple were both looking at the menu, trying to decide what to get, when Peter put his menu down.
"So, you decided what you want?" he asked.
"Yeah, I have." Gwen said, putting her menu down. "This is a nice place, Pete."
"Thanks. I've been planning it for a while, since it's our one year anniversary." Peter said.
"I know. I still can't believe it. A whole year since we first kissed." Gwen said.
"Yeah." Peter said.
He reached over and touched her hand, making her smile.
"Still, it's hard to think Eddie was the reason we ended up together." Gwen said.
"Yeah." Peter said, remembering that day all too well. "Still, I'm glad you told me afterwards. You've made me so happy this past year."
"Same here." Gwen said. "I'll always love you, Pete, forever."
"Same here, Gwen. Forever." Peter said.
Gwen smiled before they leaned towards each other and kissed, both knowing their love was strong and could never be broken, not matter how many girls flirted with Peter when he was Spider-Man.
Meanwhile, in the area of Bowery, near East Village, a man in a red and black costume, with two swords on his back, was standing on a rooftop looking around. His costume was mostly red, expect for black circles around the eye areas of the mask, along with black gloves, shoulder pads, and black colored bits running down the sides of his costume similar to Spider-Man's. His name was Wade Wilson, also known as Deadpool, a known Mutant and anti-hero.
"Well, things seem quiet tonight. As they say in the movies, too quiet." he said. "I wonder what people want to see tonight before its beddy-bye time."
He turned as he heard a noise, then ran along the rooftop towards another, then jumped onto it, before approaching the edge. He looked down and saw a pair of women, one blonde, one brown-haired, being held at gunpoint by a man with a shotgun.
"Please, leave us alone?" the blonde begged.
"We don't have any money!" the brown-haired girl swore.
"Who said that's what I want?" the man smirked, flirtingly.
Both women screamed and ran off towards a back alley in the neighborhood, as the thug chased after them.
"Well, looks like we got a thug after two women." Deadpool smirked. "I better investigate."
The two women ran down part of the alley, when the thug reached the end behind them.
"Halt!" he roared.
He fired his shotgun into the air, making several birds fly away as both girls stopped with terror.
"AH!" they screamed.
They both turned around to the thug, as he approached them both down alley, then stood only feet away from them, aiming his shotgun at the blonde's face.
"Oh, you two don't wanna do that?" he sneered.
The blonde freaked, fearing she was gonna die right there and then, as the brown-haired girl backed away slightly.
"Oh, no you don't, little missy." he said, turning and aiming his shotgun at her.
Both girls shook with fear, unable to move away, as the thug laughed, when Deadpool landed behind him in the shadows.
"Well, what do we have here?" he said.
The thug gasped and turned around, aiming his shotgun at Deadpool, as the women moved back slightly.
"Who are you?" the thug demanded.
He moved back slightly, before Deadpool came out of the shadows.
"You're not Spider-Man?" the thug questioned.
"Of course I'm not. The name's Deadpool." Deadpool said. "Everyone knows that, right?"
"Uh, no." the thug said.
"I wasn't talking to you, buster." Deadpool said.
The thug looked confused, as the two women turned to each other.
"Who's he talking to?" the brown-haired one wondered quietly.
"I have no idea." the blonde whispered. "But I don't like the look of this guy."
"Now, what do you plan to do with these women?" Deadpool asked. "You plan on robbing them, raping them, killing them, or a mixture of all three?"
"What... What are you talking about?" the thug said, applauded.
"I'm asking what you plan to do with these women?" Deadpool said. "Gee, this guy's a bit dumb."
"Hey, I resent that!" the thug snapped.
He aimed his shotgun at Deadpool, who quickly took out one of his swords and sliced it in half, shocking him.
"What? No way?!" he gasped.
He backed away as Deadpool pointed his sword at him, then he backed away slightly.
"So, how do you want this?" Deadpool asked.
"Uh, what do you mean?" the man asked worriedly. "I'll just go."
"Go? Oh, I think not. As everyone can see, you've just broken the law by trying to rob these two lovely ladies." Deadpool said.
The women both turned to each other confused, as the thug frowned.
"What are you talking about?" he scowled. "There's no one here but us?"
"Not from what I can see." Deadpool joked. "Get it, see?"
"You are insane, freak!" the thug roared.
"Oh, am I?" Deadpool scoffed.
He laughed insanely, then moved closer to the thug, who was now looking terrified.
"Wait, what are you doing?" he asked.
"Putting an end to you." Deadpool joked.
He then slashed him with his sword, giving him a deep cut, making him bleed.
"AH!" the thug screamed.
Both women gasped, horrified by what they were seeing.
"Oh, my God!" the blonde cried.
The thug fell onto his chest, clutching his chest, his hand over his wound.
"What...have...you...done?" he coughed, blood coming from his mouth.
"I've prevented you from harming these lovely ladies." Deadpool joked.
"I'd...have rather...been caught...by one of the Spiders!" the thug coughed. "They're less...leathel than you!"
He coughed up more blood, before Deadpool stabbed him in the chest, killing him, splatting blood all over.
Both women turned to each other, shocked.
"He killed him!" the brown-haired gasped.
"I've never seen a hero that ruthless." the blonde gasped. "He's no hero in my book."
Her friend nodded in agreement, as Deadpool turned to them both.
"Well, there you go. You're both okay now." he said. "So..."
Both women turned and ran away, worried Deadpool was gonna hurt them too.
"Gee. Everybody's a critic." he joked. "Better get outta here though."
He turned and jumped up to the rooftops, then began to run off, wondering who else was causing trouble tonight.
A little later, Peter and Gwen were walking in the area Deadpool had killed the thug, both laughing slightly.
"Well, I've had a great time, Peter." Gwen said. "I'm glad Miles was around to cover for us tonight."
"I know." Peter said.
They both stopped near the end of the alley.
"Oh, my gosh, look?" Gwen gasped, looking down it.
Peter turned as she pointed down the alley, both seeing the thug's dead body lying there.
"What the?" he gasped.
"Peter, that looks like a dead body?" Gwen gasped.
"Let's take a look." Peter said. "This doesn't look like a mugging."
Gwen nodded, then they both ran down the alley and looked at the body, shocked by how the cut on his chest looked. They both quickly knew this wasn't the work of Miles, Jessica or any other hero they've met over the past year, as this was the work of a blade.
"Man, how brutal and horrible." Gwen said. "No one deserves that."
"I agree." Peter said.
"Who do you think did this, Logan?" Gwen asked.
"No. This is way too violent, even for Wolverine." Peter argued. "Remember, Kitty and Bobby have both told us he may be a bit ruthless, this is beyond even him. Besides, it looks like only one blade, not three like him."
Gwen looked at the body and saw his point, as it was so gruesome, and looked like the work of one blade, not three claws.
"You're right." she sighed.
"I guess there's nothing we can do for him, as he's dead." Peter sighed.
"I'll call my Dad and tell him to get some CSI's down here." Gwen said.
"Okay. And while you do that, I'm gonna call Bobby. Maybe he or one of the other X-Men know something about who did this." Peter said.
They both separated and took out their phones to call Capt. Stacy and Bobby Drake, and also to make sure they could hear the other people.
"Hey, Dad. Sorry to bother you, but...I've just found a dead body with Peter in an alley." Gwen explained.
As Gwen began to explain to her Dad how she found the body, Peter was having no luck with getting Bobby.
"Hi, this is Bobby. Leave a message after the beep." came his ringtone.
Peter sighed and lowered his phone, not having time, before he looked over at Gwen.
"Okay, Dad." she said. "Just...tell them this is something that looks barbaric."
Peter approached her as her Dad spoke her to.
"Okay." Gwen sighed. "I'll see you tomorrow."
She lowered her phone and turned to Peter.
"He's on the way with some people from forensics." she explained.
"Good. I can't get ahold of Bobby, probably due to how late it is." Peter sighed. "I'll try again in the morning."
"Okay." Gwen said.
"Why'd you tell you're Dad you'd see him tomorrow?" Peter asked.
"Dad has to work extra late tonight, partly due to him." Gwen explained, pointing at the body. "Meaning the house is gonna be empty."
"Oh." Peter said.
"So, can I stay at yours tonight, bugboy?" Gwen asked. "Dad already said I could."
"Sure, Ghostie." Peter teased. "I'm sure Aunt May won't mind once we tell her."
Gwen smiled before they kissed each other happily, then they turned and walked off down the alley.
Later, Peter and Gwen were outside the Parker house, before they approached the door together.
"Well, we're here." Gwen said happily. "So, let's go."
Peter smiled and opened the door, then they both stepped inside, seeing Aunt May in the sitting room.
"Aunt May, I'm back." Peter said.
"Oh, good. Did you have a nice time?" Aunt May asked, getting up.
She turned around, before Peter and Gwen both came in.
"We sure did." Gwen said.
"Gwen? What are you doing here?" Aunt May asked.
"My Dad has to work late tonight, due to a body we found." Gwen explained.
"A body?" Aunt May questioned.
"It's a long story, and we'll tell you in the morning." Peter promised. "Anyway, we figured it'd be okay if she spent the night with us, since it's still Easter Vacation."
"So, is it okay?" Gwen asked. "My Dad already said so."
"Of course it is, Gwen. You can use the spare bedroom for Peter's sibling, if we ever meet them." Aunt May sighed.
"I'm sure we will, Aunt May." Peter assured.
"So do I, and thank you, Aunt May." Gwen said.
Peter smiled, as Aunt May had asked her to start calling her that, which she had been.
"Well, it's a good thing you left your clothes from the last time you spelt here." Aunt May said. "I washed them and forgot to bring them over to your place."
"Thanks." Gwen said.
"We'll see you in the morning." Peter said.
"Yeah. I'm just gonna finish my soap and then go to bed myself." Aunt May said, as a soap opera was on TV.
Peter and Gwen both smiled and waved at her, before they walked upstairs towards the bedrooms.
"Well, you know where it is from last time." Peter said.
"I sure do." Gwen said. "Good thing we washed and did our teeth before we went out."
"Yeah." Peter said.
He stopped outside his bedroom, as Gwen approached him, before they shared a brief kiss and pulled apart.
"I love you." Gwen whispered.
"Same here." Peter whispered. "Good night."
"Good night, bugboy." Gwen whispered.
They shared another brief kiss before they turned and Peter opened his bedroom door, then Gwen did the one for his sibling - which was opposite it - then they entered the rooms. closing the doors behind them, ready for a night's sleep.
Meanwhile, Deadpool had returned to an apartment in Parc 77 Apartments near Central Park, and was inside his bedroom. He took his mask off, showing he was a bald man called Wade Wilson, whose face was covered in marks and looked disfigured, and his mouth was lipless.
"Man, what a quiet boring night, eh." he said, falling back onto his bed. "Didn't see anyone else other than that thug. Most of the crime must've been in other parts of the city."
He turned onto his chest, annoyed by the lack of crime tonight.
"Guess I better try another area tomorrow night." he decided. "Maybe I'll meet something more exciting."
The next morning, Peter woke up in his bedroom, but found something off, as he could feel someone lying beside him. He turned his head, and saw Gwen was asleep beside him, her head on his left shoulder, and he felt her left hand on his chest.
"How'd she get in here?" he wondered. "My... Oh, wait, it only goes off if there's danger, as she's not a danger to me. I guess I'd be able to do the same with her."
He turned and saw it was past 9am, telling him they'd both spelt in, but since it was still Easter Vacation, he knew they didn't have to get up early. Deciding it was better to wait till Gwen woke up, as she was so close to him he couldn't move, he put his left hand in her hair and ran his hand through it.
"I actually like this." he thought. "Aunt May and her Dad would kill us though if we went further before we graduate though. I guess as long as we stayed clothed, we'll be alright, as long as they don't know."
He kept running his hand through Gwen's hair, when she woke up and lifted her head up, looking at him lovingly.
"Morning, bugboy." she whispered.
She leaned in and kissed him softly, which he returned, before they pulled apart, their lips only inches apart.
"Why'd you sneak in?" Peter said.
"I couldn't sleep, due to that body we saw." Gwen answered, which was mostly true. "And well, I thought I'd sleep better knowing you were beside me."
"Sneaky." Peter remarked. "I didn't hear you come in."
"Figured I wouldn't." Gwen teased.
They both kissed each other briefly, then pulled apart.
"We better get dressed." Peter whispered.
"Agreed." Gwen said quietly.
She kissed his nose, then got out of bed and approached the door, letting Peter eye her, as she only had a shirt and underwear on, with her blue panties sicking out from the bottom. She opened it up and turned to Peter, smiling lovingly, making him blush.
"See you downstairs." she said, blowing him a kiss.
She closed the door and left Peter alone, who got out of bed, showing he had shorts on.
"Better have another try on getting ahold of Bobby." he thought, getting to his feet. "I'll let Gwen get washed and that first. Aunt May always said, let a girl go first."
He walked over to his desk and picked up his phone, then dialled Bobby's number.

Outside in the grounds, several of the X-Men were in and around the swimming pool. Those swimming around in the pool were Anna Marie, who were a green bikini, and Remy, who wore white trunks with card symbols on. Also in the pool, was Scott and Jean, in blue trunks and a red bikini respectfully, who were leaning against the edge, talking quietly to each other. Kitty was there, lying on a rubber raft in the middle, resting on her belly in a purple one-piece swimsuit, with her right foot in the water.
Outside the pool, was Jubilee and Bobby, who both sat in a long chair, both wearing sunglasses, Bobby with a light blue trunks and Jubilee with a blue one piece swimsuit. Jubilee leaned back and held a fan near her, getting a suntan, while Bobby stared at Kitty lovingly, admiring her when he heard his phone ring.
"Huh?" he muttered.
He turned picked it up from a table near him, seeing it was Peter, then he put it to his ear.
"Hello?" he said.
"Bobby, it's Peter." Peter said.
"Pete? Look, sorry about not answering last night." Bobby said. "I just got back from a mission down south."
"Okay, fair enough. Look, there's a reason I'm calling." Peter explained.
"Well, go ahead." Bobby said.
(Parker house)
"Last night, Gwen and I found a body in an alley, but... It was brutal." Peter explained. "Something we've never seen before."
"Brutal? How?" Bobby asked.
"Worse than Logan." Peter explained.
(Xavier Mansion)
Bobby got up from his chair, before he saw Remy and Anna getting close to each other, kissing like they didn't care people were around them, making him turn away.
"Worse than Logan?" he questioned. "Was it a sword?"
"Looked like it." Peter said.
As Bobby held his back to the pool, Kitty looked up from her raft and looked up at him, smiling for some reason, but she didn't know why.
"Hmm? I'll speak with Logan and call you back." Bobby promised. "I have a feeling I know who this is, but he knows this guy better than me."
"Okay, thanks, Bobby." Peter said.
Bobby turned as Angelica came out and over to him, in a red and yellow striped one-piece swimsuit.
"Oh, by the way, how's Angelica doing?" Peter asked, thinking about her.
"Oh, she's doing fine." Bobby said. "She's gotten some control, as she's not burning her clothes off anyone, but it'll still be a while before she fully gets control."
"Well, tell her Gwen and I said 'Hi'?" Peter asked. "I'll be waiting for your call."
"Okay." Bobby said.
He hung up as Angelica sat down in a long chair near him.
"Who was that?" she asked.
"Peter. He and Gwen said 'Hi' to you, and I told him you're doing alright." Bobby said.
"I apricate that, Bobby." Angelica said.
"Look, I'll be right back. I need to ask Logan something." Bobby explained.
He turned and ran off, as Angelica looked confused, while Kitty kept staring at him.
(Parker house)
Peter put his phone down, then walked towards his door, then opened it and left the room, seeing the bathroom door open, telling him Gwen was finished.
"I guess I better get dressed." he thought.
Five minutes later, he'd gotten washed and dressed, before he entered the kitchen with his phone in his pocket. Once in the kitchen, he saw Aunt May and Gwen were both dressed and eating breakfast at the table, as Aunt May turned to him.
"Morning, Aunt May. Morning Gwen." he said.
"Morning, Peter." Aunt May said, as Peter sat down opposite her and beside Gwen. "Gwen was...just telling me about the dead body you found yesterday. I take it...it wasn't pretty."
"No. It was worse than Uncle Ben, by the way he looked." Peter sighed.
"It was horrible." Gwen said, shaking her head. "Whoever did it must've had a sword or something."
"Gee. I hope whoever did this is caught then." Aunt May said.
"We all do." Peter said, as Gwen nodded.
They all ate breakfast together, then Aunt May got up and turned to the teens.
"Could you two clean up for me?" she asked. "I have to get to FEAST early today due to an emergency taking place there."
"Sure, we'll take care of it, Aunt May." Gwen assured.
"Thanks you two." Aunt May said.
She kissed Peter's cheek, then hugged Gwen, catching her by surprise, then she turned and walked off, and soon left the building.
Peter and Gwen both washed up and put away the dishes and glasses, before they both turned to each other.
"So, have you called Bobby yet and asked him about who could've killed that man last night?" Gwen asked.
"Yeah, I did. He thinks Logan knows who did it, but he needed to check." Peter explained. "He said he'd call back."
"When was this?" Gwen asked.
Before Peter could answer her, his phone rang, then he took it out of his pocket, seeing it was Bobby.
"I called while you were getting washed." he explained, before putting it to his ear. "Yeah."
(Xavier Mansion)
Bobby was back outside, approaching his chair, while seeing Remy and Anna Marie were laughing and splashing each other now in the deep end, missing Scott and Jean as they were in the shallow end, while Kitty got some, making her swim off on her raft away from them.
"I just spoke to Logan, and he knows the man who did it." he explained. "His name's Deadpool, and his a psycho."
"How well does he know him?" Peter asked.
"Well enough." Bobby sighed.
He sat down in his chair beside Angelica, who was leaning back in her chair, her hands behind her head.
"He's a tough and crazed character." he explained.
"Anything else we should know?" Peter asked.
"Yeah. He carries two swords, and wears a red and black outfit, which doesn't make him look friendly." Bobby explained.
"Okay, thanks, Bobby." Peter said.
Bobby hung up and put his phone down, before he turned and leaned back in his chair, unaware Kitty was still staring at him.
(Parker house)
Peter put his phone down as Gwen looked at him.
"Well?" Gwen asked.
"Call Miles and tell him to meet us in Queens. Bobby told me Logan's dealt with who this guy is, and his name's Deadpool." Peter explained.
"Anything else he tell you?" Gwen asked.
"Yeah. Deadpool's a crazed psycho." Peter said. "I'd hate to think what he might do to other people, let alone that man we found."
"Right, but what are you gonna do while I call Miles?" Gwen asked.
"I'm gonna check the gear." Peter said. "I have a feeling we might need more web-fluid for this one. And, I might have to make more for us before we start."
"Right." Gwen understood. "I'll head home and get my suit after I let Miles know what's going on."
Peter nodded, then he ran past her and up the stairs, as she then took out her phone and dialled Miles' number.
Once in his bedroom, Peter took his costume out from under his bed, then looked at his web-shooters, and the belt holding his cartridges. Once opening it, he saw it was nearly empty.
"Defiantly need more." Peter said.
He turned as he heard the door open, seeing Gwen in the doorway.
"I called Miles and he'll meet us by tracking us through our phones." she explained.
"Right. We all better meet up together, as I need to make more web-fluid." Peter explained.
"Okay." Gwen said. "I'll see you there."
She blew Peter a kiss, then closed the door before she ran off.
"Time to get to work." Peter thought, turning around.
Two hours later, the Spider Trio - all in costume - were all standing on a rooftop together, as they looked down at the city.
"So, you say you found a dead body last night in an alley, which looked like the work of a supervillain?" Shadow-Spider asked, as he'd been told everything they found out last night and earlier from Bobby.
"Yes. It looked like a sword's cut and stab wound." Spider-Man explained.
"And it didn't look good." Ghost Spider shuddered, touching her arms.
"Did this guy...look like a thug or something?" Shadow-Spider asked.
"To be honest, we're not sure." Spider-Man said. "We didn't stay to look properly."
"We'll wait till the News and see it then." Ghost Spider explained.
"Look, you trust this guy?" Shadow-Spider asked. "I mean, this Bobby friend of yours sounds fishy to me."
"Shadow, he's an X-Men." Spider-Man assured. "They were among those who helped us stop those Sentinels that night Ghost saved your life."
Shadow-Spider looked at them both, as Ghost Spider nodded.
"Was this Bobby among those with you two that night?" he asked. "I mean, I heard you guys, the Avengers, the Fantastic Four and these X-Men were all scattered around."
"He was." Spider-Man assured. "He was the guy made up of ice. It's his Mutant power."
"Mutant?" Shadow-Spider gasped. "Wait, like that kid and guy with wings when I first met you two, in costume?"
"Yes." Ghost Spider said. "His name's Angel, which makes sense due to his wings."
"And, these other X-Men are Mutants too?" Shadow-Spider asked.
"Yes. They all have different powers." Spider-Man explained. "Some of our best friends are among them, and...Wolverine knew my parents, briefly at least."
"Wolverine?" Shadow-Spider questioned. "Why does he call himself that."
"He... dresses like a wolf, sort of. And he can extend claws from his hands." Spider-Man explained.
"Whoa, freaky." Shadow-Spider shuddered. "Okay, so what did your friends tell you about this guy?"
"His name's Deadpool, and...he's very crazed, like a psycho." Spider-Man explained. "From Bobby told us, Logan knows this guy better than anyone alive."
"So, you both figure he might strike again?" Shadow-Spider asked.
"We do." Ghost Spider nodded, lowering her arms. "And he could do what he did what he did last night, only to more people."
"Okay, I get the point." Shadow-Spider said. "He's bad news."
"So, what do we do, Spidey?" Ghost Spider asked.
"I don't know, Ghost." Spider-Man said. "I think our best option for now, is to should split up and see if we can find this Deadpool."
"Good idea." Shadow-Spider said.
"Right. Anyone finds him, let the others know." Spider-Man instructed.
"Got it." Ghost Spider said, nodding.
"Okay." Shadow-Spider said.
All three of them jumped off the rooftop and began to swing off in different directions, to begin their search for Deadpool.
About an hour later, Deadpool was on a rooftop in the Lower East side, looking around for any sign of crime, but so far, had seen nothing.
"Well, there's no sign of any trouble today." he said.
He turned and walked along the rooftop, when he heard something.
"Huh?" he muttered.
He turned back and ran along the rooftop, then looked over the edge, but saw nothing. He turned when he heard it again, ran along the edge of the rooftop, before he looked down, and saw a young man with a knife, holding it against an older man, pinned against the wall of a building.
"Aha." Deadpool said. "Time to shine."
He jumped down from the rooftop and dived towards the ground.
"What do you want?" the old man asked.
"I just need money!" the young man said. "Enough to get out of the city."
"But... I haven't got much on me." the old man said.
Deadpool landed near them both, making them turn to him.
"I think you should leave him alone." he said.
The young man pulled his knife away from the old man, who turned and ran off into a nearby shop.
"What do you want?" the young man demanded. "And what's up with that costume? Even Spider-Man's is better looking than that."
"Oh, I'm hurt." Deadpool scoffed, before he pulled out his right sword.
"Uh, what's that for?" the man gasped, backing away.
"Oh, I'm here to stop you threating people like that old man." Deadpool said coldly.
The man gasped, then he turned around and ran off, as Deadpool chased after him. They ran down and entered Norfolk Street, before the man tripped over and lost his knife.
"Oh!" he moaned.
He turned around and saw Deadpool coming towards him, his sword raised.
"Oh, man! He's gonna kill me!" the man gasped.
Deadpool lifted his sword up above him, holding it backwards to stab the man, when Spider-Man landed behind him on a lamppost.
"There." Spider-Man thought, before touching the side of his mask. "Ghost, Shadow, I've found him. He's at Norfolk Street in the Lower East side."
"Right. I'm on the way." Ghost Spider said.
"Same here, Spidey." Shadow-Spider said.
"Right. I'll keep him busy." Spider-Man said.
He jumped off the lamppost and gilded down towards the ground, landing in a three point stance on the road.
"Hold it, buster!" he called.
Deadpool turned around, making the thug look past him, before they both saw Spider-Man.
"Spider-Man? Oh, thank goodness." the man sighed. "I rather be caught by him or his friends, since they don't kill."
"Get outta here, kid." Spider-Man said. "I'll handle this creep."
The man nodded, then he turned and picked up his knife, then ran off, as Deadpool frowned and stared at him.
"Hey, you're letting him get away!" Deadpool complained. "He's a thief!"
"Didn't seem that way to me." Spider-Man said. "And if he was, unlike you, I wouldn't kill him at all, least of all for the fun of it, as it makes me sick."
"Ouch." Deadpool said, taking his his other sword.
"Nice swords you got there, Leonardo. Where's your brothers gotten too, and you look so different in red." Spider-Man joked.
"Hey, the name's Deadpool!" Deadpool snarled.
"I know that, thanks to a friend of mine telling me and my friends about you." Spider-Man said.
"Oh, has Logan been missing me?" Deadpool smirked.
Spider-Man frowned and said nothing, as they glared at him.
"So, who are you, Spidey? Are you Tobey, Andrew or Tom? Or are you Paul, Ted, Dan, Christopher, Neil, Josh, Drake, Robbie or Yuri? Or are you Rino, Sean, Sam, Chris or James?" Deadpool asked.
Spider-Man looked at him confused.
"Uh, what was that?" Spider-Man questioned. "You've got me confused here."
"Huh? You didn't get what I meant?" Deadpool asked. "You're worse than Logan, you are?"
"Hey?! And Josh and Drake?" Spider-Man questioned. "Do you mean Drake & Josh, the TV show from the early 2000s?"
"No, I don't!" Deadpool laughed.
He charged at Spider-Man, who ducked as he tried to slash him, then Deadpool dodged as Spider-Man tried to punch him, who then back flipped away. He landed on his feet, then shot a web from his right hand, but missed as Deadpool rolled to his right.
"Okay, you're fast, I'll give you that." Spider-Man admitted.
"Why, thanks." Deadpool said. "But is that all you got?"
He jumped up and dived down to kick Spider-Man, who jumped up and flipped over him, making them turn to each other. Deadpool dodged as Spider-Man tried to punch him, who then axe kicked him in the chest, sending him flying away.
"AHH!" he yelled.
He hit the ground and rolled over slightly onto his chest, then he looked up at Deadpool, who slowly came towards him.
"You shouldn't have tried to stop me, Spider-Man." Deadpool smirked. "It's over for you."
"Not if we can help it!" came a girl's angry voice.
Deadpool turned and saw Ghost Spider and Shadow-Spider diving down towards the ground, before they landed near each other, both staring at him.
"Oh, Spidey brought his little amazing friends to help him." Deadpool joked. "How nice of you to join us, kiddies."
"Kiddies?" Ghost Spider exclaimed, outraged.
"Hey, it's Ghost Spider and Shadow-Spider, Mr.!" Shadow-Spider snarled, pointing at him.
"Oh, I'm sorry." Deadpool scoffed.
"Guys, be careful!" Spider-Man warned, getting up. "He's more crazed that we thought!"
His friends both watched as Deadpool charged at them both, then tried to slash them with his swords, making them both jump away, before they stuck to a wall opposite each other.
"He really is crazy?" Ghost Spider exclaimed, horrified.
"Yeah!" Shadow-Spider said.
"Oh, you've hurt me." Deadpool mocked.
Spider-Man jumped up and tried to pounce on him from behind, but Deadpool turned around and grabbed his left shoulder.
"Huh?" he gasped.
Deadpool spun around while holding him, before he threw him away.
"AHH!" he yelled.
"Spidey, no!" Ghost Spider cried.
"I'll get him!" Shadow-Spider yelled.
He jumped off his wall and swung after Spider-Man, as Ghost Spider jumped off her wall angrily, and gilded down towards Deadpool, before she landed near him.
"You'll pay for that!" she vowed, pointing at him.
"Oh, did I hurt your feelings, girly?" Deadpool joked, making her more angry. "I'm sure your little boyfriend will be okay."
Ghost Spider snapped, then shot webs from both her hands at him, but he sliced them up easily with his sword, shocking her.
"No way?!" she gasped. "Impossible!"
"Anything's possible, girly." Deadpool mocked.
"Ah! Will you stop with the jokes!" Ghost Spider snarled. "You're terrible compared to Spidey!"
"Oh, geez, sorry." Deadpool mocked.
He charged at her, then she dodged as he tried to slash her with his right one, before she back flipped away as he tried to slash her legs with his left one.
"Nice reflexes." Deadpool joked.
Ghost Spider landed on her feet and glared at him.
"Now, who are you, Ghostie? Are you Bryce or Emma? Or are you Mary Kay, Lacey, Kari, Dove, Laura, Emily or Hailee?" Deadpool asked.
"Uh..." Ghost Spider muttered. "What are you talking about?"
"Hey, I just wanna know who you really are?" Deadpool joked.
"Ah! I'll never tell you that, you psycho!" Ghost Spider roared.
She jumped up and dived towards him, trying to kick him, but missed as he dodged, before he kicked her back, sending her flying away.
"Whoa!" Ghost Spider yelped. "Not good!"
She turned around to shoot a web at a wall, but found her web-shooters were empty.
"Oh, not now!" she groaned.
She turned around as she dived towards the ground, before she hit a car's roof and rolled over it, onto her chest, knocking her out cold.
"Oh!" she moaned.
Deadpool laughed slightly as he approached the car she was behind, when he heard webs shooting towards him. He turned around, seeing web-balls coming towards him, then he rolled away, making them hit the car, then he stopped and got up. He turned slightly, seeing Spider-Man and Shadow-Spider landing nearby, both glaring at him.
"You know, that wasn't really very nice, Deadpool." Spider-Man said.
"Well, I thought it was funny." Deadpool said.
"Well, we didn't!" Shadow-Spider said.
"A friend of ours told you how crazy you were, but you're even worse than we thought!" Spider-Man snarled.
"Oh, I'm touched you three did your research." Deadpool mocked. "Still, you two look in better shape than your little girlfriend over there, Spidey."
He pointed at the car Ghost Spider was behind, which made Spider-Man gasp, as Shadow-Spider turned to him.
"I thought most of the city didn't know about you two being together like that?" Shadow-Spider whispered.
"So did I. Maybe he just assumes we are." Spider-Man whispered.
"Uh, what are you talking about?" Deadpool asked, as he couldn't hear them.
"Never you mind!" Spider-Man snapped. "Shadow, keep him busy. I'll check on Ghost."
"You got it." Shadow-Spider said.
Spider-Man turned and jumped over the car, as Shadow-Spider charged at Deadpool. Spider-Man landed behind the car, then turn to his girlfriend, before he bent down and turned her over, before he began to shake her.
"Ghost?" he gasped. "Oh, please be alright?"
Shadow-Spider sent a punch at Deadpool, who dodged it, who then kicked him in the belly, knocking him back slightly.
"Oh! Sneaky move, Deadpool!" Shadow-Spider frowned.
"Geez, you sound like a hardcase there." Deadpool mocked.
Shadow-Spider frowned, as they both began to circle each other.
"Like you're not?" he snapped.
"Well, what about you, Shadow? Who are you then? Are you Donald or Ogie? Or are you Nadji or Shameik?" Deadpool asked.
Shadow-Spider stared at him as they kept circling each other.
"What are you talking about?" he demanded.
"Oh. I had hoped one of you would've answered me that?" Deadpool said. "I asked your friends, but they just snapped at me, like you."
"Well, I doubt any of us knew what you were talking about?" Shadow-Spider snarled.
"Well, then, if that's the case, let's resume this." Deadpool smirked.
He began to charge at Shadow-Spider, who was thinking quickly.
"My Venom Blast might stop him." he thought. "Good thing I've learned how to use it better thanks to Jessica."
He jumped up as Deadpool tried to slash him, then he turned and shot webs from both his web-shooters, but Deadpool turned around and sliced them up, before he landed on the ground. He glared at Deadpool, who charged at him again, then he powered up his Venom Blast, but knew he had to get close to shock Deadpool.
Spider-Man kept shaking Ghost Spider, who woke up and looked at her lover.
"Ghost, you okay?" he asked.
"I've been better, my love." Ghost Spider moaned weakly, waking up.
"Good, 'cause Shadow needs help." Spider-Man said. "Can you still fight?"
"I...I think so." Ghost Spider said.
Spider-Man helped her to her feet, before they both turned to Deadpool and Shadow-Spider, who still couldn't get close to use his Venom Blast.
"I think he's trying to use his Venom Blast." Ghost Spider said, refilling her web-shooters, seeing Shadow-Spider's fists were powered up.
"But he can't get close." Spider-Man said. "That gives me an idea. Come on."
They both jumped up and swung over towards the area, as Shadow-Spider dived past Deadpool, who tried to slash his legs, before he landed on top of a dumpster bin.
"Ah!" he moaned.
He rubbed his head as he lifted it up, when he saw his friends land on the wall behind Deadpool, who hadn't seen them.
"Well, how do you feel, kid?" Deadpool asked mockingly.
"Why do you care how I feel?" Shadow-Spider retorted, getting up to his feet.
"Hey, I'm only asking." Deadpool assured.
"Well, I'm fine, but you won't be!" Shadow-Spider snarled.
"Huh?" Deadpool muttered.
"Behind you, Deadpool!" Spider-Man said.
Deadpool turned around and saw him and Ghost Spider both diving towards him, before he turned back to Shadow-Spider, who also jumped and dived towards them.
"Oh, come on? Is that the best you can do?" he asked.
He put his right sword away, then grabbed Shadow-Spider's forearm, then spun around quickly and threw him into the others, hitting them both, shocking all three of them with his Venom Blast.
"AH!" they moaned.
They all went flying away, then hit the ground together, as Shadow-Spider moved his hands away, stopping them all from being shocked.
"That Venom Blast of yours is brutal!" Ghost Spider moaned.
"I'd hate to think what Jess' does." Spider-Man moaned.
"Gee, thanks." Shadow-Spider moaned, rubbing the back of his neck.
All three Spiders looked up at Deadpool, as he laughed and stared at them all.
"Well, as they say in the movies, any last words, kids?" he joked.
"Hold it right there, Wade!" a familiar voice roared.
Deadpool turned around, as the three Spiders looked around, and saw Wolverine staring at them all.
"Wolverine!" Spider-Man gasped.
"Nice timing." Ghost Spider said, holding her thumb up.
Wolverine huffed and approached Deadpool, who approached him slightly, before they stopped and stared at each other like in a Mexican standoff.
"Talk about a Mexican standoff." Shadow-Spider said.
Wolverine and Deadpool glared at each other.
"Been a long time, old friend." Deadpool said.
"Yeah, but we were never friends, Wade!" Wolverine growled. "You were too crazed and violent. There's only one person I hate more than you!"
"Oh, you still hate dear old Victor Creed, eh?" Deadpool mocked.
"I'll never forgive him for what he did, leaving my friends to die for no reason!" Wolverine snarled.
The three Spiders turned to each other, Shadow-Spider looking confused, but the other two were shocked.
"We never heard of this before." Ghost Spider whispered.
"Whoever this Creed guy must really be heartless." Spider-Man deduced quietly. "But, why does that name sounds familiar?"
"So, who are you today, old pal?" Deadpool asked, getting everyone's attention. "Are you H-"
"Don't you dare start that?!" Wolverine growled, extending his claws.
Shadow-Spider gasped at what he saw, as he hadn't met Wolverine before.
"Well, let's get this over with!" Wolverine growled.
"Have it your way, claws." Deadpool mocked.
They both charged at each other, then Deadpool tried to slash Wolverine with his right sword, but he blocked it with his left claw. They remained locked for a few seconds, as the Spider Trio watched, before Wolverine tried to stab Deadpool with his right claw, but missed as he pulled back.
"And you call me violent?" Deadpool mocked, as he ducked to avoid a slash from Wolverine's left claw. "You're just as bad!"
"Unlike you, I make sure if I have to kill, it's self-defence!" Wolverine retorted, dodging as Deadpool tried to slash him with his right sword.
Deadpool then kicked his chest, knocking him back slightly, before he turned and ran off.
"Catch you later, old man!" he called.
Wolverine growled and began to chase after him, as the Spider Trio turned to each other.
"We better help him." Spider-Man said.
"Agreed." Ghost and Shadow-Spider said, both nodding.
They all got up and jumped up, then began to swing after Wolverine and Deadpool.
Deadpool stopped running near the Williamsburg Bridge, before he turned around, as Wolverine stopped near him.
"You can't escape me, Wade!" he growled. "You know my nose can track people."
"When I'm in range!" Deadpool argued. "If I was far away, you wouldn't be able to smell me."
Wolverine growled and extended his claws, before he jumped towards him, then tried to stab him with his right one, but missed as he dodged, making Wolverine hit and roll along the ground. He turned around and got up, then sent three stabs at Deadpool, but he missed as Deadpool backed away, before he had to duck as Deadpool tried to slash him with his left sword. Wolverine retracted his right claws, then punched his jaw, knocking him back slightly, then Wolverine slashed him across the chest with his left claws, cutting him slightly.
"AH!" he moaned.
He stumbled back as Wolverine glared at him, but he only bled a little bit before his wound healed itself.
"I know you're healing factor's as good as mine!" Wolverine snarled, extending his right claws. "I only intend to injury you enough to restrain you."
"You think a simple restraint will stop me?" Deadpool scoffed.
Wolverine tried to stab him with his right claws, but missed as he dodged, before Deadpool spun around and kicked his back, knocking him away slightly.
"Oh!" Wolverine growled, hitting the ground.
He rolled over slightly, then turned around while crouched down, then they both glared at each other, as the Spider Trio came swinging towards them both.
"Stop right there!" Spider-Man yelled.
Deadpool turned right slightly, as Wolverine turned left slightly, both seeing the Spider Trio landing nearby on a wall. The three of them all shot webs down at Deadpool, which he mostly dodged, expect one from Spider-Man hit his left arm.
"Ha, nice one, web-head, but it won't do." he mocked.
He sliced the web up with his sword, as Wolverine turned to the trio.
"What are you three doing here?" he demanded.
"Trying to help you, what do you think?" Ghost Spider frowned.
They all jumped off the wall and landed near Wolverine, as Deadpool turned to them all.
"Well, well, ganging up one me, eh?" Deadpool inquired. "Not the first time this has happened."
"Give it up, Deadpool?" Spider-Man said. "You're outnumbered, and we're not gonna let your kill anyone again."
"Oh, this again?" Deadpool mocked. "He deserved it."
"No he didn't!" Ghost Spider snapped.
"Wade, this is your last change to come quietly." Wolverine said. "I suggest you take it, 'cause I know people who won't stop till you're brought to justice."
Deadpool looked among the four heroes, before he turned to the Williamsburg Bridge, which he was currently now near, when an idea came into his head.
"You know what, I will. You guys win." he said, raising his arms up.
The three Spiders looked shocked and confused, while Wolverine growled.
"Don't let him fool you." he advised. "It's a trick."
"What do you mean?" Ghost Spider asked.
Wolverine turned around to say something, when Deadpool threw a live grenade at them all.
"Grenade!" Ghost Spider gasped.
All four heroes turned and dived down as it exploded, part of the shrapnel in it hitting the back of Wolverine's left leg, but not any of the Spiders.
"Oh, well, bye-bye, everyone." Deadpool mocked.
He threw a smoke pellet to the ground, making everyone turn around to him.
"Ah!" they yelped.
They all turned back once the smoke cleared, but saw no sign of Deadpool, who'd escaped by jumping up to the Williamsburg Bridge.
"Ah, he got away!" Ghost Spider frowned.
"Wade, I'll get you one day!" Wolverine vowed. "I swear it."
They all pulled themselves up, all annoyed that Deadpool had escaped them, as he was now too far away for Wolverine to sniff him out.
Later, all three Spiders were all up on a rooftop, looking at each other.
"Okay, that Deadpool creep was crazy." Shadow-Spider said.
"I won't argue there." Ghost Spider agreed. "Too violent in my opinion."
"Way too violent and crazy." Spider-Man agreed. "And get this, he told me that man he killed last night was a thug trying to rob two women."
"Yeah, right?" Ghost Spider scoffed. "Like I'll believe a word he says after what he did back there."
"That's what I always keep telling myself." came a voice.
They all turned as Wolverine came up behind them all.
"Hey, you okay?" Shadow-Spider asked. "I mean, your leg..."
"I'm fine. I heal fast." Wolverine assured.
Shadow-Spider moved back slightly, taking his word for it.
"We're surprised you came over to help, Logan." Spider-Man said.
"When I told Drake about Deadpool, I had a feeling you'd go after him, web-head." Wolverine said, folding his arms. "I know him all too well, so I figured you could use some help."
"Well, thanks." Spider-Man said.
"Still, it's a shame he got away." Ghost Spider said.
"I know." Wolverine said. "If I know Deadpool through, I know he'll be back, doing some other crazed thing."
"Thanks for letting us know." Spider-Man said.
He and Wolverine shook hands, then Wolverine approached Shadow-Spider.
"You did well, kid." Wolverine admitted.
"Uh, thanks." Shadow-Spider said.
"We've been hearing rumors about there being another Spider around, just didn't believe them until tonight." Wolverine said.
"Well, you tell them it's true?" Spider-Man asked.
"I will. Nice seeing you again, kid." Wolverine said.
He turned and ran off along the rooftop, leaving the Spiders alone as they watched him.
"Kid?" Shadow-Spider questioned, approaching the others. "Spidey, isn't that-"
"Shadow, Wolverine's older than he looks." Ghost Spider explained.
"Older?" Shadow-Spider questioned. "He can't look no older than 40."
"We'll tell you later, for you're not gonna believe it, Shadow." Spider-Man promised. "Let's go."
They all jumped off the rooftop and swung off together through the city, all hoping they wouldn't see Deadpool again for a long time.
Later, at around 4pm, the Spider Trio were all at the Parker House, watching the evening News in the sitting room, out of costume. Peter and Gwen both sat on the couch, while Miles sat on the floor with a soda. He'd been told about Logan by the others once they arrived, and was shocked by hold old he really was, and that he'd known Peter's parents, but accepted it in the end.
"...and while some of them ended up in hospital because of the accident, none them died fortunately." the Newsman explained, sitting behind his desk. "In other news, the man found dead last night has been identified."
The three teens all turned to each other.
"Well, here we go." Peter said. "Let's find out why Deadpool really killed that man, 'cause I don't believe he was a thug."
"Neither do I." Miles said.
"That makes three of us." Gwen smiled.
"The man's name is Damon Munson, a local mugger." the Newsman explained.
The three teens gasped.
"The Police have investigated the scene he was found dead last night." the Newsman continued. "Capt. Stacy of the NYPD had this to say."
The screen showed Capt. Stacy standing with a bunch of reporters, including Mr. Corazon and Whitney Chang, while CSI's were doing their work behind him.
"From what we can tell, this thug was gutted up badly by a sword." the Capt. explained. "Pretty messy, and whoever did this wasn't merciful."
"How did you find out about this body?" Mr. Corazon asked.
"My daughter. She and her boyfriend were coming back from a dinner they had, and they had to pass by this alley on the way, and that's how they found the body." the Capt. explained.
"So, it was her who called in it?" Whitney inquired.
"Yes." Capt. Stacy said.
"Are there any witnesses to this?" a man asked.
"Yes. I've had Officers searching the area, and we've found two women who witnessed the whole thing." Capt. Stacy explained. "They never came forward last night because they were scared the person who did this would kill them too. From what they told us, the man who did this was dressed in red and black, wielded two swords, and called himself Deadpool."
"Is there anything else you can tell us, sir?" Whitney asked.
"Yes. Whoever this guy is is dangerous." Capt. Stacy said. "While I approve of the work of the Spider Trio, his tactics are not the same. Munson may have been a thug, but even he didn't deserve that. I'm saying that, because his only weapon was sliced in half, leaving him defenceless, and instead of capturing the guy, he killed him."
The screen went back to the studio.
"And there you have it, folks." the Newsman said. "We have another vigilante in the city, but someone who is not like the Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Trio. Now, in other news-"
Peter turned the TV off, then the three teens all turned to each other, all speechless by what they learned.
"So, that body we found was a thug, like Deadpool said." Gwen said, shocked.
"Still, what Deadpool did wasn't right, killing him like that." Miles said.
"If we hear anything similar to that, we'll know its him then, 'cause I have a feeling we haven't seen the last of him." Peter said. We'll just have to keep our eyes and ears open for when that happens."
Miles and Gwen nodded, before Gwen moved closer to Peter and snuggled next to him, as they kept watching the News, after the weird day that had.
A/N: The lines 'are you' are a refence to all the known actors who've played Peter, Gwen and Miles over the years.
I'm not much of a fan of Deadpool like most of you, as I see him as a psycho and crazed, so don't expect him to appear much compered to the other heroes I've put in.
