Chapter 2
Arriving at Professor Oak's Lab, they exchange greetings with the professor. Professor Oak's expression shifts as he notices Golly, his gaze carrying a weight of understanding. "I see you've learned the truth," he remarks with a sigh, his voice tinged with a mix of concern and resignation.
Ash nods firmly, his eyes reflecting determination. "Yes, Professor. My father's heroic sacrifice hasn't been in vain, and I'm committed to carrying on his legacy. We're setting off for the United Region to root out the corruption that plagues it and restore balance and strength."
"I anticipated this moment would arrive, so I have something important to offer you," Professor Oak reveals, presenting Ash with the Pokemon Box Link. "This tool will be crucial for managing your Pokemon during your journey, especially considering the challenges of relocating them to a new region."
Understanding the gravity of his task, Ash acknowledges, "I'll gather my Pokemon and embark on this mission without hesitation." With a determined nod, he takes his leave, leaving Golly and Professor Oak in a moment of quiet contemplation.
Turning to the professor, Golly inquires, "Any signs of espionage in the vicinity?"
"Pallet Town remains secure as usual, thanks to Ash's unique aura barrier that shields him from prying eyes," Professor Oak explains. "However, now that he's fully aware of his destiny, that protective shield dissipates. The road to the United Region will undoubtedly be fraught with challenges."
"It's fortunate that you, with your background as an assassin, are here to support your brother," Professor Oak notes, recognizing Golly's expertise as an asset in the daunting journey ahead.
As Ash finishes transferring all of his Pokémon into the box link, a sudden sense of foreboding washes over him. Without hesitation, he shouts, "Pikachu! Thunderbolt!"
Pikachu swiftly unleashes a crackling bolt of electricity, causing a cage to crash down nearby. Ash's voice rings out again, filled with a mix of concern and defiance, "Who's there?"
To their dismay, the notorious trio of Team Rocket emerges before them, launching into their familiar, albeit tiresome, motto. Ash groans in exasperation, "You again? Are you really here to steal Pikachu once more?"
"Not just Pikachu this time, twerp! We've got our eyes on that precious box link of yours, stuffed with all your Pokémon goodies!" Jessie taunts with a smirk.
Ash's resolve hardens as he retorts, "You won't lay a finger on any of them!"
Before Team Rocket can make a move, a sudden burst of energy in the form of a Hyper Beam sends them hurtling into the distance with their signature cry, "We're blasting off again!"
Amidst the confusion, Ash and Pikachu turn around to see a mysterious figure cloaked in ninja attire, accompanied by a formidable Gyarados. Grateful for the unexpected rescue, Ash expresses his thanks, "Thank you for your timely intervention."
"Intervention? You've got it all wrong," the cloaked figure responds coolly before brandishing a knife. "I'm just here to eliminate any obstacles in my path. You, my dear Prince, have proven quite elusive."
"The Chosen Prince?" Ash echoes in astonishment as he narrowly dodges the flying blade, demanding, "What's the meaning of this?"
"You won't know anything once I eliminate you right here, right now," the ninja declares menacingly. With a commanding shout, he orders, "Gyarados! Unleash Hurricane!"
"Pikachu! Counter with Thunderbolt!" Ash swiftly commands, hoping to deflect the powerful onslaught. Yet, the ninja's swift movements outmaneuver Pikachu, positioning himself behind Ash to direct Gyarados in a brutal Hydro Pump assault, sending Ash crashing to the ground.
Gritting his teeth against the pain, Ash struggles to rise as the ninja advances, taunting, "Pathetic... You, the supposed eliminator of our Aquarine Region... I wonder what the king saw in you..."
Gasping for breath, Ash realizes, "You're from the United Region..."
With a cold smirk, the ninja prepares to deliver a fatal blow, sneering, "Time to join your father in oblivion!"
In a moment of resignation, Ash closes his eyes, bracing for the end. However, the anticipated strike never lands. When he dares to peek again, he finds the ninja sprawled on the ground, a blade protruding from his back.
"It's becoming tiresome dealing with these threats repeatedly," Golly remarks with a sigh as she and Professor Oak approach. Ash, still recovering from the recent confrontation, asks with a hint of disbelief, "Did you just... kill him?"
Golly's expression is solemn as she explains, "Brother, our father trained me in the ways of an assassin. I've been neutralizing spies from the United Region for years." She pauses, her voice carrying the weight of experience, "This won't be the last of them. When we reach the United Region, I'll teach you the skills I've learned from our father."
"So you're saying... I have to learn how to kill?" Ash's shock is palpable.
"If it comes down to it," Golly responds firmly. "Didn't you see how close that ninja was to ending you? Consider yourself fortunate that I intervened."
Ash exhales heavily, realizing the gravity of the path ahead. Mentally preparing himself for the challenges to come, he nods in acknowledgment of what lies ahead.
After bidding farewell to Professor Oak, Ash and Golly take to the skies on Charizard and Dragapult. Ash, curious about their aerial journey, inquires, "Why are we flying again?"
Golly explains with a sense of urgency, "We can't risk traveling conventionally. Despite your status as a Chosen Prince, you're on the wanted list, and the authorities won't hesitate to eliminate us. Flying is our safest option."
"So, which kingdom are we targeting first?" Ash wonders aloud.
"We're heading to the Viridale Kingdom, known for its expertise in Grass-type Pokémon," Golly reveals. "Our siblings have informed me that they'll be there to provide support."
Suddenly, their peaceful flight is shattered by the sight of figures on Flying Pokémon ahead. Bullets whiz past them, forcing Charizard and Dragapult into evasive maneuvers. Golly's voice tightens with frustration, "Those are soldiers from the Galecrest Kingdom! Skilled with Flying Pokémon, they've likely detected our airborne approach."
"What's our plan then?" Ash's urgency is palpable.
"We can't engage them directly with their aerial advantage. Our best bet is evasive maneuvers," Golly decides, focusing on dodging the incoming attacks.
"Charizard, I'm counting on you! Increase speed and shake them off!" Ash commands, trusting in his Pokémon's agility.
Charizard responds with a resolute nod, pushing its limits to evade the relentless pursuit. However, their pursuers prove tenacious, staying on their tail.
"They're not giving up!" Ash exclaims, a hint of panic in his voice.
"We're almost there, to the United Region!" Golly reassures, determination fueling her words.
Just when hope seems within reach, a chilling Ice Beam strikes Charizard's wing, sending Ash tumbling from the sky. Golly's cry of alarm echoes through the air, "Brother!"
As Ash braces for impact, expecting the worst, he suddenly finds himself standing in a place of awe and wonder—the Hall of Origin. "What's happening?"
Arceus, the creator of all Pokémon, stands before him, offering a solemn greeting, "Welcome, Ash Ketchum, to the Hall of Origin."
"Arceus?" Ash's voice is filled with astonishment. "Why am I here? What's happening?"
Arceus's presence exudes a sense of solemnity as it explains, "The prophecy has come to fruition, and in recognition of your valor in saving us Legendary and Mythical Pokémon, we offer you our strength."
"Your strength?" Ash's curiosity deepens. "What does that entail?"
"Why don't you take a look at your Box Link?" Arceus suggests.
Ash complies, and his eyes widen in disbelief as he sees a vast array of Legendary, Mythical, Ultra Beasts, and even Paradox Pokémon within the confines of his Box Link. Overwhelmed, he stammers, "This... Arceus, I... I can't accept such a tremendous gift. It's too much."
"It's not too much," Arceus reassures with gentle authority. "Each of us desires to see you bring an end to the corruption in the United Region. Use their powers wisely, and you'll undoubtedly achieve greatness."
Feeling a mix of gratitude and responsibility, Ash nods solemnly. "Thank you, Arceus. I won't take this gift lightly."
"Now, your siblings await you," Arceus continues, a hint of encouragement in its tone. "It's time for you to awaken."
The bright light fades, and Ash slowly opens his eyes to find himself lying on a bed, surrounded by Golly and four others, all beaming with relief and joy. "He's awake!" one of them exclaims with genuine happiness.
"Oh, thank goodness. We were so worried," another person chimes in with visible relief.
Confused and still groggy, Ash tries to sit up. "What... what happened?"
Golly steps forward, her expression filled with gratitude. "Your Charizard showed incredible courage. Despite being injured by the Ice Beam, it managed to catch you just in time before you fell. We landed safely in the region. Mark and Minami rushed you to the Pokémon Center for treatment, while Insey, Trenor, and I dealt with the Galecrest Kingdom's attackers."
"The Pokémon Center?" Ash's concern is evident. "Are we allowed to stay here?"
"Trenor's right," Insey interjects. "Nurse Joy is just as fed up with the corruption as we are. She's risking everything to help us. In return, we're determined to liberate the kingdom from its corrupt rulers."
Minami nods in agreement. "We've gathered allies who are willing to join our cause."
Ash takes in the introductions and the surprising revelation of his siblings with a mix of amazement and gratitude. "Mark, Minami, Insey, and Trenor... It's incredible to finally meet you all. I never knew I had siblings. It's a pleasant surprise."
Minami smiles warmly. "We're family, Ash. We'll always stand by each other, and that includes you. You don't have to face anything alone."
Insey chuckles lightly. "You're definitely a deep sleeper, Ash. It took quite the ordeal to wake you up."
Ash's gaze drifts to his Box Link, where the legendary Pokémon gifted by Arceus reside. He shakes his head in disbelief. "I thought it was just a dream... but it's all real."
As his siblings marvel at the legendary Pokémon within the Box Link, Trenor's eyes widen in astonishment. "Is that a Groudon?"
"And look, Xerneas and Yveltal too! And those Ultra Beasts!" Mark exclaims in disbelief. "When did you get all these Pokémon?"
Ash hesitates before explaining his encounter with Arceus and the Hall of Origin. Golly, understanding the significance, nods. "So you truly are the Chosen One if these Legendary Pokémon are lending you their strength."
Trenor nods in agreement. "With this kind of power, success is definitely within our reach."
The sudden commotion outside draws their attention, accompanied by an ominous announcement targeting Ash as the Chosen Prince. Golly grimaces as she peers out the window, observing the increased military presence in the streets. "Looks like we're trapped for now... Soldiers are everywhere."
Mark chimes in with a somber tone, "It's a stroke of luck that no one outside knows what Ash looks like, and those who did are no longer a threat. We might have a small window of safety."
Ash's concern surfaces as he ponders the potential risks. "But what if those eliminated spies managed to send descriptions or images of me to the authorities? What if they already know who I am?"
Insey remains resolute. "If that's the case, we'll have to face them head-on. We won't let fear hold us back."
Trenor interjects, "Let's not jump to conclusions. We need a plan, and we need to stay cautious."
Minami adds, "And we can't forget about our allies. Together, we'll find a way through this."
With uncertainty looming and the threat of exposure intensifying, the siblings brace themselves for the challenges that lie ahead in the United Region, where every step could lead to either liberation or peril.
Here is a new chapter, and in this chapter, you can see that Ash has arrived at the United Region and met his siblings. I hope you like this chapter.
