7. Chapter 7

Sorry for the wait everyone, I've been fighting a wave of boredom and it's distracting me from my writing a little, plus this chapter was much more than I expected, and took forever, even with no work to do.

Anyway in this chapter, as you might have a guest from the title, in this chapter you'll meet Scarlet Beast. I hope you're ready to meet him, and fair warning I gave him a really odd way to talk, so please don't be bothered by it or complain about it, it's part of his story. Now let's start Chapter 7.

Chapter 7

Ride Off Into The Scarlet Factory

After docking the ship, Diaz was back in his normal form, and the sun started to set. Everyone was met by three people with white skin, one a very tall and buff old man with the top of his head bold and the back side of his head had long gray hair that was formed into v spikes over his back shoulders and a short mustache. The next one was a young woman with average build, and her hair blond tied up into a bun on the back of her head. Lastly was a young man with an above average build, hazel eyes, and buzz cut brown hair. The old man was wearing a black military uniform, with the young man and the young woman wearing a red military uniform.

"It is an honor. I am Goldberg, Commander of the 1st Division, Kimlasca-Lanvaldear Royal Forces. Congratulations on your safe return." The old man said to everyone. "Yeah." Luke said to Goldberg.

"A carrier pigeon arrived with a message from Count Almandine. He said you were traveling with an emissary of peace from the Malkuth Empire." Goldberg said to Luke. "I'm Ion, Fon Master of the Order of Lorelei. I bear a letter from His Imperial Majesty, Emperor Peony the Ninth of the Malkuth Empire. May I ask an audience with His Majesty, King Ingobert the Sixth?" Ion asked Goldberg.

"Of course. General Cecille and General Gomez here will be responsible for escorting you to the castle." Goldberg said to Ion. "Brigadier General Cecille, at your service." The young woman said to everyone. "Brigadier General Gomez at your service as well." the young man said to everyone.

But then everyone noticed Guy shaking. "Is something wrong?" Cecille asked Guy. "N-no, excuse me. I'm Guy. A servant of Luke's. And this is my partner, Lokej." Guy said to Cecille, gesturing a hand towards Lokej.

"Locrian Sergeant Tear Grants, 1st Platoon, Oracle knights Intelligence Division. And this is my partner Liran." Tear said to everyone, gesturing towards Liran. "Ionian Sergeant Anise Tatlin, Oracle Knights Fon Master Guard. And this is my partner Fie." Anise said to everyone, gesturing to Fie.

"I'm Ion servant Whina, and this is my partner Inesa. And the owl is Jataayu Ion's partner." Whina said to everyone, gesturing to Inesa and Jataayu. "Well now I feel simple. I'm just Diaz. And the lizard is my partner Miles. And the little knight is Charcadet, Luke's partner." Diaz said to everyone.

"Colonel Jade Curtiss, commander of the Third Division, Malkuth Imperial Forces. I represent His Imperial Majesty. And these are my partners, Susu 1, 2, 3." Jade said to everyone, gesturing to the Susu's.

But everyone was surprised by Jade's name. "You're THE Jade Curtiss?!" Cecille asked Jade. "You taught me a painful lesson in our battle in northern Chesedonia, General Cecille." Jade said to Cecille.

"You must be joking. My forces were virtually wiped out." Cecille said to Jade. "Yeah, everyone in the military knows that if your opponent is Jade the Necromancer, win or lose, you'll be lucky if half of your army lives to tell the tale." Gomez said to Jade. "You're well known as the Emperor's personal confidant, Colonel. If you're here, Malkuth must indeed be serious." Goldberg said to Jade.

"Tensions along the border are greater now than at the start of the Hod War. We have no choice but to be serious." Jade said to Goldberg. "Correct." Goldberg said to Jade. "Well, then, Luke, my Baticul defense unit will escort you back to your home." Goldberg said to Luke.

"Hold on! Ion asked me to speak to Uncle on his behalf. I'm taking him to the castle!" Luke said to Goldberg. "Thank you, Luke. I appreciate the support." Ion said to Luke. "I'm impressed, Luke. You truly understand your responsibility." Tear said to Luke. "oh… uh… yeah." Luke said to Tear.

"Understood. In that case. I shall send General Cecille to inform his Grace, Duke Fabre, and have General Gomez run ahead of you and inform His Majesty of your arrival. If you would, General Cecille and General Gomez." Goldberg said to everyone. "Yes, Sir." Cecille and Gomez said to Golrberg.

'All right, now I'll get my chance to be a hero.' Luke thought to himself. "All right, then, Luke. If you'd show us the way." Ion asked Luke. "Right, let's go!" Luke said to everyone. "Do you even know where we're going?" Diaz asked Luke. "Of course I do. Follow me." Luke said to Diaz, as they all started to walk.

Soon they entered a massive city that looked like it was made into a mountain with able cars and bridges all over the place. "So… this is Baticul?" Luke asked everyone. "What? You're acting like you've never seen it before." Guy asked Luke. "Yeah, aren't you the one leading us through this place?" Diaz asked Luke.

"I can't help it! I don't remember!" Luke said to Guy and Diaz. "You really gotta stop using that crutch." Diaz said to Luke. "That's right. You've never been outside since you lost your memory." Guy said to Luke. "Wow, what a city! It goes straight up!" Anise said to everyone, as she looked all over the place.

"You could fit two or three Cheagle Woods in her! Maybe more!" Mieu said to everyone. "I don't know about that. But this place feels cold and empty. Like it's just a shell and nothing lives in it." Diaz said to everyone. "Don't insult our city. Plenty of people live here. But it does have a weird shape." Luke said to Diaz.

"This city was built on a depression in the ground created when a fonstone fell from the sky." Guy said to everyone. "Meaning that it's protected by natural walls. That's a logical design." Tear said to everyone.

'I hate to say it, but Diaz is right. It doesn't feel like I've come home at all.' Luke thought, looking around the city. "Come on Luke, we need to get to the palace." Diaz said to Luke, pushing Luke forward, making him frown at Diaz, before everyone started to walk.

After a bit of walking, they made it to the palace, where Gomez was talking to two guards, in front of some large doors. "Grand Maestro Mohs is currently in an audience with His Majesty. Please wait." One of the guards said to Gomez. "I don't care if he's talking to Mohs. I need to inform His Majesty about important news heading his way." Gomez said to the guard.

"Mohs is the guy trying to start the war, right?" Luke asked everyone. "According to Tear, he's not. But he is still a big name in the order." Diaz said to Luke. "Let's get in there before he gives my uncle and weird ideas!" Luke said to everyone, as he forced his way past Gomez and the guards going into the throne room, with everyone following him.

"Please stop!" The guards said to Luke, before Luke could answer the door. "I'm Luke, son of Duke Fabre! Get in my way, and I'll have them fire you!" Luke said to the guard. "Luke, are you sure it's okay to force our way in like this?" Ion asked Luke. (Yeah, this isn't like us going into a random room.) Jataayu said to Luke. "It'll be fine." Luke said to Ion, before opening the door.

Inside the throne room were a handful of guards, an old man with short gray hair, a tiny mustache, and a black, white, and gold military uniform. A man wearing fancy white robes with a priest cap on his head, and long brown hair going down his back. And that man was talking to an old man sitting on a throne, with the old man on the throne wearing very fancy purple robes with red fabric around his shoulder.

"The Malkuth Empire is strengthening the defenses in their capital, Grand Chokmah. With Engeve as their supply base even Saint Binah has been-." the man with the long hair said to the man on the throne, but was interpreted, when everyone noticed the gang walked into the throne room.

"How dare you?! Who gave you permission to enter the hall?" The old man in the military uniform asked everyone. "Shut up! Out of my way, Alpine." Luke said to the old man in the military uniform, frustrating Alpine.

"Is that you, Luke? Susanne's son?" the old man with the fancy purple robes. 'So he must be Ingobert.' Diaz thought, looking at the old man with the fancy purple robes. 'So then he must be Mohs.' Diaz thought, looking at the last man in the room.

"That's right, Uncle." Luke said to Ingobert. "Ahh! I heard what happened. I'm glad to see you back safely from Malkuth. then , the people beside you must be…" Ingobert said to Luke, before going quiet. "Fon Master Ion, of the Order of Lorelei, and Jade, from the Malkuth military." Luke said to Ingobert.

"It is an honor to see you again, Your Majesty. I am Ion." Ion said to Ingobert. "Fon Master… W-we've been looking for you…" Mohs said to Ion, but was interrupted by Ion. "Mohs. Let us speak later." Ion said to Mohs.

"Your Majesty, this is Colonel Jade Curtiss. He represents His Imperial Majesty, Peony the Ninth." Ion said to Ingobert. "I am honored to be in your presence. I bear an imperial letter from my lord for His Glorious Majesty, King Ingobert the Sixth." Jade said to Ingobert, as he kneeled to Ingobert.

That's when Anise handed the letter to Alpine. "Uncle, what Mohs is saying is nonsense. I went and saw Malkuth with my own eyes. We didn't get close to the capital, but Engeve and Sait Binah were completely peaceful." Luke said to Ingobert.

"Wh-what did you say?! I'm merely trying to convey to His Majesty the threat that Malkuth…" Mohs said to Luke, but was interrupted by Diaz. "Then care to explain why people on your side of the Order have been chasing us from Engeve to here. From what I've seen, Malkuth is trying for peace, but not you." Diaz said to Mohs.

"Yeah. you can shut up! You're just trying to start a war! I don't even know you, and I'm sick of you already!" Luke said to Mohs. "Luke, calm down. The letter from Malkuth has made it here. I won't ignore it." Ingobert said to Luke. "You all must be tired from your long journey. Please, get some rest." Ingobert said to everyone.

"We've prepared rooms in the castle for our emissary guests. Please, allow me to escort you." Alpine said to everyone. "If I may, I'd love to see Luke's manor." Ion said to Alpine. "Very well. When your business is finished outside, please return to the castle." Alpine said to Ion.

"Tear, you stay here. I must hear your report regarding the matter I assigned you." Mohs said to Tear. "Grand Maestro. It is my responsibility to see that Luke makes it safely to his manor. I will return with my report shortly." Tear said to Mohs.

"Very well." Mohs said to Tear. "I bid you my leave, Your Majesty." Mohs said to Ingobert, bowing to Ingobert. Mohs then looked at everyone before leaving.

"Luke, Susanne has fallen ill." Ingobert said to Luke. "Mother's sick!" Luke asked Ingobert. "I've sent Natalia to her side in my place. Please look after them for me." Ingobert said to Luke. Luke said nothing, as everyone started to walk towards Luke's manor.

When they got to the manor, they met with Duke Fabre and Cecille. "Father! I'm home." Luke said to Duke Fabre. "I've heard the report from General Ceille. I'm glad you're safe. Thank you for your help, Guy." Duke Fabre said to Luke and Guy. "It is my honor, sir." Guy said to Duke Fabre.

"I see the emissaries are with you. You must be tired. Please, relax and make yourselves comfortable." Duke Fabre said to everyone. "Thank you." Ion said to Duke Fabre. "By the way, Luke, where is Dorian general Grants?" Duke Fabre asked Luke.

"Master van? We split up at Chesedonia. He said he'd come by boat later." Luke said to Duke Fabre. "Duke Fabre… I'll head to the port." Cecille said to Duke Fabre. "Yes. I'll leave the matter of Van to you. I'll go to the castle." Duke Fabre said to Ceille, confusing everyone else.

Then Duke Fabre and Cecille walked past everyone and to the door. "I hear it was thanks to you that my son was spirited halfway across the world." Duke Fabre said to Tear. "I apologize for the trouble I've caused." Tear said to Duke Fabre. "You're Van;s sister?" Duke Fabre asked Tear. "yes." Tear said to Duke Fabre.

"I've received a report that you intended to assassinate Van. Or were you in fact conspiring with him instead?" Duke Fabre asked Tear. "Conspiring? I don't understand what you mean." Tear asked Duke Fabre. "Well, I'll leave that alone for now. Let's go, General." Duke Fabre said to Tear, before he and Cecille left the manor.

"His Grace was acting strangely." Guy said to everyone. "I wonder what's up with Master Van?" Luke asked everyone. (It must be something big if your old man and a general are involved.) Charcadet said to Luke.

"I think I should be going, too." Tear said to everyone. "As long as you're here, you should probably apologize to the Lady as well. She probably fell Ill because Luke went missing." Guy said to Tear. "You're right. I'll do that." Tear said to Guy, before everyone started to walk.

Soon they walked into the dinning room, where two girls were talking to each other. With both women having thin figures and white skin, plus a headband on her head.

One of the women had short blond hair that bent a curve into a puff over her shoulder, green eyes and she was wearing an aqua blue dress and is adorned with fine jewelry.

The other woman had black hair that was tied into a ponytail attached to the top of her neck, on the top of her head was a white trail, and she was wearing a maid black outfit, with a white apron, and a black skirt that covered down to her feet.

"Oh, look who's back?" The maid said to the other woman, making the other woman turn to everyone. "Luke!" The other woman said to Luke, before running up to Luke. "Ugh." Luke said, as the other woman reached Luke.

"What kind of attitude is that?! Do you realize how worried I was?!" The other woman asked Luke. "Now Natalia, you know Luke isn't the nicest person." The maid said to the other woman. "Quiet Qadira." Luke said to the maid.

"Oh, well, you know… Luke's just embarrassed, Your Highness." Guy said to Natalia. "Guy! You have some explaining to do, too! I told you to come tell me before you went searching for Luke! Why did you leave without speaking to me?" Natalia asked Guy, taking a step towards Guy.

But this caused Guy to run away. "You know a servant like me can't get into the castle!" Guy said to Natalia, freaking out. "Why are you backing away?" Natalia asked Guy. "You know why?" Guy said to Natalia.

"Once I marry Luke, you'll be my servant, too. As well as Qadira's partner. Get used to it." Natalia said to Guy. "I can't!" Guy said to Natalia. "You're so strange. Look how pathetic you are. I don't know what the maids see in you." Natalia said to Guy. "According to the gossip. It's his good look. But those maids never get that close to him to see this side of him." Qadira said to Natalia, as Natalia turned to Luke.

"I'm sorry to hear about Van." Natalia said to Luke. "What's going on with Master Van?" Luke asked Natalia. "Oh, my father didn't tell you? They suspect Van of being behind your disappearance." Natalia said to Luke.

"So that's why he asked if I was "conspiring" with Van." Tear said, making Natalia turn to Tear. "Oh? Who's this?" Natalia asked everyone, looking at Tear. "Luke! Don't tell me you've taken advantage of one of your servant girls!" Natalia asked Luke. "Why must that be where your mind goes whenever a girl is near Luke?" Qadira asked Natalia.

"What?! There's no way I'd touch a chick as cold as that!" Luke said to natalia. (Gee, why don't you tell us how you really feel about her.) Liran asked Luke. "Besides, she's not a servant! She's master Van's sister." Luke said to Natalia.

"Ohh, you're the one who caused this commotion in the first place. "Tear", was it?" Natalia asked Tear. "Enough about that! Tell me what's gonna happen to Master Van!" Luke said to Natalia.

"Van will likely be arrested as soon as he arrives in Baticul. Worse case, I presume he'd be executed." Jade said to everyone. "Oh, no! Ion! Whina! The commandant's in danger!" Anise said to Ion and Whina. "Yes. We must issue a protest from Daath at once." Ion said to Anise.

"Will that work? I mean when you think about it, this whole missing Luke thing happened because Tear was trying to kill Van. From a certain standpoint, you could say that Van used his sister to send Luke flying off to who knows where." Whina said to everyone.

"Natalia! Master Van wasn't involved! Please, talk to Uncle about it! You've got to save him!" Luke said to Natalia. "All right. I can't turn down a request from you, Luke. In exchange, please hurry and remember that promise you made." Natalia said to Luke.

"I told you, I don't remember proposing to you when I was a little kid!" Luke said to Natalia, surprising Tear and Anise. (So it was you that proposed to her. Didn't think you have anything but attitude in you.) Miles said to Luke.

"Yes, yes. Your memory loss. But how romantic would it be if the first thing you remember was your proposal to me?" Natalia asked Luke, blushing, and making Luke blush. "My Lady, you really should give up on that goal. The man lacks any motivation to remember anything." Qadira said to Natalia.

"Enough talk. Hurry up and go talk to Uncle and Master Van!" Luke said to Natalia. "Honestly, you can be so mean. Fine." Natalia said to Luke. "I really don't know what you see in him." Qadira said to Natalia, before she and Natalia left.

Once they were gone, everyone moved to the master bedroom. There they found two beds and found Susanne sitting up on one of the beds. Once everyone walked in, Susanne noticed them.

"Oh,Luke! Is it really you? I was so worried about you. I was certain you'd been kidnapped again!" Susanne said to Luke., as everyone walked up to Susanne. "I'm fine. Here I am, home again." Luke said to Susanne.

"Madam, I beg your forgiveness. I'm the one who involved your son. I tried to strike down my brother without thought to where I was." Tear said to Susanne, getting on her knees. "So you are Van's sister, Tear?" Susanne asked Tear. "Yes." Tear said to Susanne.

"I see. You say that what happened this time was not the work of villains pursuing my son?" Susanne asked Tear. "By Lorelei and Yulia, I swear it was not." Tear said to Susanne.

"Thank you. And Tear, I don't know what's happening between you and Van, but please, never again think of striking down your own brother. Family fighting family is entirely too sad." Susanne said to Tear.

"I am grateful for your kind words." Tear said to Susanne. "Luke, you've come back to me. I'm fine now. Go let everyone see that you've returned." Susanne said to Luke. "oh… Right." Luke said to Susanne.

After a bit of walking, talking to people, everyone ended up in Luke's room as the night covered the sky. "Well, I guess I'll be going, then. The White Knights are having a fit that your search was left in the hands of a "mere servant" like me. Time to go kiss up while I give my report." Guy said to everyone.

"It's time for us to go as well." Ion said to everyone. "Luke… please don't forget about me." Anise said to Luke. "ugh." Whina said, looking at Anise. "It was a fascinating experience. Thank you." Jade said to everyone. "See you." Luke said to everyone, as Guy, Ion, Anise, Whina, Jade, and their Pokemon left Luke's room.

"I need to report to Grand Maestro Mohs, so I'll be leaving now, too." Tear said to Luke. "Oh… okay." Luke said to Tear. "You have a kind mother. Make sure you take good care of her." Tear said to Luke.

"Like you're in a position to be telling me that." Luke said to Tear. "I suppose you're right. Farewell." Tear said to Luke, before she and Liran started to leave the room.

"Hey, wait." Luke said to Tear. "Yes?" Tear asked Luke, as she stopped and turned to Luke. "Don't worry about it too much." Luke said to Tear, making Tear confused. "Mother fell ill because she was frail to begin with." Luke said to Tear. "That's his way of saying don't let what happened to Susanne bother you." Diaz said to Tear. "Shut up." Luke said to Diaz. "Thanks." Tear said to Luke, before she and Liran left the room.

"Now what about you?" Luke asked Diaz. "I'm going to clam this spot on the floor, and sleep here." Diaz said to Luke, as he laid down in front of Luke's bed. "I'm not sharing my room with you." Luke said to Diaz. "Miles." Diaz said to Miles. (On it.) Miles said, as he used his tail to smack Luke in the head, knocking Luke out and making Luke fall onto the bed.

"Now we can rest in peace." Diaz said to everyone, as he started to sleep. (Do you really need to do that?) Charcadet asked Miles. (Like he would have let us sleep here if we didn't?) Miles said to Charcadet, as he laid down and started to sleep. (Fair point.) Charcadet said to Miles, before laying next to Miles and going to sleep.

The next morning a maid entered the room. "Good morning, Master Luke. Another beautiful day today, isn't it? According to the Order of Lorelei's Score, though, there may be some slight rain later." The maid said to Luke, as Luke, Diaz, Miles, and Charcadet got up.

"A messenger arrived from Princess Natalia, requesting your presence in the castle." The maid said to Luke. "It's okay for me to leave the manor now?" Luke asked the maid. "Yes, apparently so." The maid said to Luke, before bowing and leaving.

"I thought you said you could never leave the manor?" Diaz asked Luke. "I can't. But I guess if Natalia asked for me. I have to go." Luke said to Diaz, as they stood up and started to leave the manor.

After a bit they made it to the castle, and while walking to the throne room, they noticed Tear talking to Mohs, with Liren hiding behind Liran. "Then the Seventh Fonstone is in Akzeriuth?" Tear asked Mohs. Yes. It's likely that Luke will also wind up going there, and-" Mohs said to Tear, but interrupted by Luke.

"What about me?" Luke asked Mohs, getting the attention of Mohs, Tear and Liran. "Oh, greetings, Luke. We've been waiting for you. Colonel Curtiss is already waiting inside." Mohs said to Luke, as Luke, Diaz, and their Pokemon walked up to them.

"Jade's here?" Luke asked Mohs. "Something must be going on if Jade was called in as well." Diaz said to everyone. "Let's go." Mohs said to everyone, as he led everyone to the throne room.

A couple minutes later they entered the throne room, where Ingobert was sitting on his throne, with Natalia to his left, and Qadira on her left. Jade and the Sisu's where standing before Ingobert. and Alpine, Duke Fabre, and a guard with a clear rock where standing around the room.

"Ah, we've been waiting for you, Luke." Ingobert said to Luke. "An emergency assembly was called last night. We agreed to formalize a treaty with Malkuth." Alpine said to Luke. "The letter from Malkuth contained the proposal for the peace treaty, but also a request for aid." Ingobert said to Luke.

"There is a mining city in Malkuth called Akzeriuth. It is facing a crisis due to the miasma, the poison blight that seeps up from Gnome's domain." Alpine said to everyone. "Malkuth can't rescue its own citizens because the miasma is blocking their road to Akzeriuth." Natalia said to everyone.

"But Akzeriuth was originally our territory. So, naturally, there's also a connecting road from the Kaitzur side. With that in mind, they requested our aid to protect their citizens." Ingobert said to everyone.

"Yeah, helping their people would be a nice gesture, but what's that got to do with me?" Luke asked everyone. "His Majesty has graciously assigned you the honor of becoming Kim-lasca-Lanvaldear's goodwill ambassador." Duke Fabre said to Luke.

"Me?! No! I've had enough fighting already." Luke said to everyone. "Natalia talked to me about Van." Ingobert said to Luke, getting Luke's attention. "We, too, are uncertain regarding Van's guilt. Thus, we have a proposal. If you will travel to Akzeriuth as a goodwill ambassador, we will release Van and have him aid you." Ingobert said to Luke.

"Master Van's been arrested?!" Luke asked Ingobert. "Didn't we already talk about this yesterday?" Diaz asked Luke. "Where is he?" Luke asked everyone. "He's being held beneath the castle." Natalia said to Luke.

"All right. If you'll set Master Van free." Luke said to Ingobert. "You become a lot more cooperative when Van is involved." Jade said to Luke. "I don't know why, he's not that impressive. All he did after we met him was give us passports, that's it." Diaz said to Luke. "Shut up." Luke said to Jade and Diaz.

"I'm glad you've agreed to help. There's actually a reason why you must be the one to fulfill this role." Ingobert said to Luke. "What?" Luke asked Ingobert.

"Look at this fonstone. This is part of Yulia Jue's Sixth Fonstone, which fell into our nation's territory." Duke Fabre said to Luke, making everyone look at the clear rock.

"Tear, read the Score that is written on the lower portion of this fonstone." Ingobert asked Tear. "Yes, Your Majesty." tear said to Ingobert, before walking to the guard with the rock.

"ND2000. In Kimlasca shall be born the scion of Lorelei's power. He will be of royal blood with hair of red. He shall be called 'the light of the sacred flame', and he will lead Kimlasca-Lanvaldear to new prosperity. ND 2018. The young scion of Lorelei's power shall bring his people to the miner's city. There…" Tear said to everyone, reading the rock.

"And the rest is missing." Tear said to everyone. "That's sufficient. In other words. Luke, you are the chosen youth." Ingobert said to Luke, making Luke remember what van told him in private on the ship.

"It pained us to confine you, but people sought you for your power. Now, though, it is time you became a hero." Duke Fabre said to Luke. 'Ah… it's just like Master Van said.' Luke thought.

"A hero." Jade said, thinking out loud. "What is it, Colonel?" Alpine asked Jade. "Nothing. Well, who shall accompany him besides me?" Jade asked everyone. "The Order of Lorelei wishes to send along Tear and Van." Mohs said to Jade.

"Luke, who would you like to take with you? You should take Guy with you as your personal" Duke Fabre asked Luke. "I don't care, as long as Master Van's going." Luke said to Duke Fabre.

"Ah, permission to speak freely?" Diaz asked Ingobert, raising a hand. "Granted." Ingobert said to Diaz. "I propose that Luke doesn't come on this mission." Diaz said to Ingobert, surprising everyone.

"Do you dare say we should ignore what's written in the score, and not send Luke?" Mohs asked Diaz. "Yes, because it's a bad idea. Luke is in no way qualified to be a goodwill ambassador. Luke has no common sense, he's rude to everyone, and I doubt he cares about helping people." Diaz said to Mohs.

"You dare to insult my son like that?" Duke Fabre asked Diaz, getting agitated. "I'm stating facts. Don't blame me for your poor parenting." Diaz said to Duke Fabre. "Back to my point, if Luke heads to Akzeriuth, he's more likely to cause trouble than help those people in need." Diaz said to everyone. "When have I ever caused trouble?" Luke asked Diaz.

"Need I remind you that when we got to Engeve, you stole an apple right in front of people, because you're used to having just giving to you and the concept of paying never crossed your mind, making everyone think you were the thief plaguing the town. And when it was all cleared up, you threw a tantrum about it, and then dragged me and Tear to the cheagle woods for nothing more to patch that wounded pride of yours. This leaves me to believe that if the people of Akzeriuth insult you a little out of spite for your family name, you're likely to pack up and leave them to die." Diaz said to Luke.

"But it's written in the score that Luke must lead everyone to the mining city. If he is to give Kimlasca-Lanvaldear new prosperity, then he must go." Mohs said to Diaz.

"Just because a rock from 2000 years ago said so, doesn't mean it's a good idea or it's what we should do. Like I've already said, Luke is not qualified for such an important mission of peace. And the only reason you're sending him is because this rock says so." Diaz said to Mohs, as he moved over to the fonstone and slapped it.

However once he touched it, his belt faintly started to glow violet, and his eyes irises turned violet, but everything just went black for Diaz. "Luke… Born… For… Many… Death." An unknown but deep male voice said in his mind. "Van is-." Tear voice echoed in his mind. Then way too many screams of fear and destruction of the land breaking apart fluid his head.

"AAAAAHHH!" Diaz yelled, as he pushed the fonstone out of the guard's hand and onto the floor, taking many deep breaths. "Diaz are you okay?" Tear asked Diaz. "No I'm not. I heard something strange." Diaz said to everyone, as he put a hand on head.

"Could you have heard Yulia's voice from the score?" Tear asked Diaz. "No. I heard a male voice, your voice, then screams and destruction. I don't know what happened. But something in my gut tells me that Luke and Van shouldn't be anywhere near Akzeriuth." Diaz said to Tear.

"Father is what this man said is true, then I really think that I should go instead as the goodwill ambassador." Natalia said to Ingobert. "I told you last night, that will not do!" Infobert said to Natalia, frustrating Natalia.

"I've already decided that Luke is the one going as the goodwill ambassador. Where you think it's a bad idea or not. The decision has been made, and he will lead this mission." Ingobert said to Diaz.

"I guess reason isn't a thing around here. But I'm going. If only to say I told you so when this goes wrong." Diaz said to Ingobert. "Very well." Ingobert said to Diaz. "Uncle, may I go see Master Van?" Luke asked Ingobert. "Do as you wish. I'll have the others who are to accompany you wait in front of the castle." Ingobert said to Luke.

"Charchadet, stay with Diaz, I want to see Van alone." Luke said to Charcahdet before leaving. (Diaz wasn't wrong about the rude part.) Charchadet said, as he crossed his arms.

A few minutes later, Luke was in the castle dungeon, where a knight walked Van out of a cell. "Master." Luke said to Van, as he walked up to Van. "I've provided him a summary of what's happened." The knight said to Luke, before leaving them.

"There's no one here now but us, so I want you to stay calm and listen to what I say." van said to Luke. "Huh?" Luke asked Van, confused. "Luke, will you join me as a member of the Oracle Knights?" Van asked Luke. "What are you talking about?" Luke asked Van.

"You probably assumed this trip to Akzeriuth was a simple matter. But in fulfilling that role, you will become Kimlasca's pet dog. Trapped on a leash in Baticul for the rest of your life." Van said to Luke. "Why? You're the one who told me I'd be free if I became a hero." Luke said to Van.

"But going to Akzeriuth won't do. You heard Yulia Jue's Score, did you not?" Van asked Luke. "Yeah. It said I'd bring prosperity to Kimlasca and stuff." Luke said to Van. "The Score continues.

"The youth will turn power to calamity and be as a weapon of Kimlasca." Those in the upper ranks of the Order believe you will bring war to the Rugnice Plains." Van said to Luke.

"Me, bring war? That's ridiculous!" Luke said to Van. "Yulia's Score has never been wrong. Not once. I want to save you before you're used for war!" Van said to Luke. But what should I do? If I don't go to Akzeriuth, those people will be in trouble." Luke said to Van.

"This is what the Score says. You will take the people of Akzeriuth and move them away. As a result, war will break out. So what you must do is remove the miasma without moving the citizens of Akzeriuth." Van said to Luke.

"The miasma is that poison stuff, right? How can I do that?" Luke asked Van. "Cause a hyperresonance and neutralize the miasma. After that, you can run away with me to Daath. With that, war will be averted and you'll obtain your freedom." Van said to Luke.

"I wonder if I can. I don't know if I can cause a hyperresonance on my own." Luke said to Van. "I'll help you, like I did onboard the ship when I calmed your hyperresonance." Van said to Luke. "Okay. I'll try." Luke said to Vam.

"You mustn't tell anyone of this plan until right before we put it into action. Especially anyone from Kimlasca. If they were to learn, you'd lose your chance to escape to Daath." Van said to Luke. "Master, how come you're so nice to me?" Luke asked Van.

"Ah, that's right. That was lost with the rest of your memory." Van said to Luke. "Did I say something before?" Luke asked Van. "When you were young, you told me you wanted to go to Daath with me. You underwent cruel experiments for the purpose of hyperresonance research, and you wanted to run away from this country. That's why, on that day seven years ago.. I kidnapped you." Van said to Luke, surprising Luke.

"YOU kidnapped me?! Not Malkuth?!" Luke asked Van. "This time, I won't fail. I need you." Van said to Luke. "That's the first time anyone ever told me they needed me. You're the only one who's ever praised me and scolded me and taken me seriously. Master… I'll join you!" Luke said to Van.

"Good. Then let's be going. To seize your future." Van said to Luke. "yeah!" Luke said to Van. but unknown to them, someone was listening in on the conviction between them.

A couple minutes later, Luke and Van walked out of the castle, and met with Diaz, Tear, Jade, Guy, and their Pokemon, who were waiting outside the castle doors. "Van." Tear said to Van, as everyone noticed them walking out of the castle.

"I've been informed of the situation. When do we leave?" Van asked everyone. "Jade says he has a proposal about that." Guy said to Van. "I'm a little uncomfortable telling Dorian General Grants about it, but… oh, well." Jade said to everyone.

"Oracle ships are watching the Central Ocean. It's likely an attempt by the Grand Maestro faction to interfere." Jade said to Van. "Colonel." Tear said to Jade. "It's a fact." Jade said to Tear.

"Well, we don't know that it's the Grand Maestro faction. At any rate, going by sea would be dangerous." Jade said to everyone. "Then what do we do?" Luke asked everyone.

"Let's send a ship out as a decoy while we head to Chesedonia by land. The Rotelro Sea past Chesedonia is under Malkuth's control. It won't be difficult to head for Kaitzur by ship." Jade said to everyone.

"I see. Then let's do this. I'll board the decoy ship." Van said to everyone. "What?" Luke asked Van. "It's been announced that I'll be part of the aid team, yes? The Oracle Knights are more likely to consider the ship to contain the true group if I am on board." Van said to everyone.

"So your plan is to be a decoy, by yourself. Seems convenient, like you have other motives." Diaz said to Van. "Diaz, shut up. Master Van isn't up to anything like that." Luke said to Diaz.

"That's fine with me. We have no choice but to trust you regardless of what we do." Jade said to everyone. "But!" Luke said to everyone. "Luke. Don't you trust me?" Van said to Luke. "All right." Luke said to Van. "Luke may trust you. But I don't." Diaz said to Van.

"Why not Diaz. He's not an enemy." Luke said to Diaz. "Is he? So far my experiences with him are just getting us past the border and doing Arietta's prison paperwork. And let us not forget that he was a no show during the whole Choral Castle ordeal. And that his goons not only killed a large number of men, but chased us all over the world trying to take Ion. So tell me why should I trust him." Diaz said to Luke, earning a mean look from Luke.

"It's fine Luke. I guess I have to just earn your trust, Diaz." Van said to Diaz. "But that will be for another time. For now, I'll head for the port. Tear, you look after Luke. And Luke, try and help Diaz see I'm not a bad guy." Van said to everyone, before leaving.

"A smaller group will attract less attention." Jade said to everyone. "Smaller group? How is this group a small group? Is your ability to count lost alongside your common sense thanks to the Score?" Diaz asked Jade.

"I can count thank you very much." Jade said to Diaz. "Let's not add any more people than we have now. I'll go make the necessary arrangements. Please wait for me at the entrance to the city." Jade said to everyone, before leaving with the Susu's.

"So that leaves the cold-blooded woman, the woman-hater, the thug with fancy armor, and all of their Pokemon." Luke said to everyone. "And you're the not so goodwill ambassador. We're doomed." Diaz said to everyone. "Hey, don't give people the wrong idea! I love women!" Guy said to Luke.

"I'm not sure shouting declarations that you're a womanizer is much better." Tear said to Guy. (Plus your reaction towards females doesn't help your image either.) Lokej said to Guy. "That's not what I mean! What I mean is-!" Guy said to Tear, but was interrupted by Tear. "Let's get going." Tear said to everyone, before everyone but Guy started to walk. "Hey! Listen to me!" Guy said to everyone, before going after everyone.

After walking for a bit, they ran into Anise, Whina, and their Pokemon, plus Jataayu was with them. "There he is!" Whina said to Anise, as they rushed Diaz. "Alright you traitor, where is Ion?" Anise asked Diaz. "What's up with Ion?" Luke asked Anise.

"Oh Luke!" Anise said to Luke, pushing Tear out of her way, and moving closer to Luke. "I missed you! But you're always together with Tear, aren't you? It's not fair." Anise said to Luke, trying to act cute.

"Oh… I-I'm sorry. But don't worry, Anise. I'm not with him because I want to be." Tear said to Anise. 'Ouch' Luke thought. "Anise, shouldn't you and Whina be with Ion?" Jade asked Anise, making everyone noticed Jade and the Sisu's.

"Colonel! When we woke up this morning, Diaz knocked on our door. When Whina opened the door, we saw Diaz wearing a God-General outfit, and Miles looked darker. Than Miles' tale glowed silver and he slapped us with it, sending us flying into the wall. It was so scary Luke!" Anise said to Jade, as she clung to Luke.

"Then some people said they had seen someone that looked like Ion and Diaz leaving the city with some circus performers." Whina said to Jade, as Jade and the Sisu's walked up to everyone, surprising everyone.

"Circus performers? Don't tell me." Guy asked everyone. "Well this is a fine mess. It must be the Dark Wings." Jade said to everyone. "Alright Diaz, tell us what you did with Ion?" Anise asked Diaz, letting go of Luke and acting tough.

"How would I know? I've been with everyone all day. Plus I would never work for the God-Generals. Not to mention that Diaz can't change color, or knows Iron Tail." Diaz said to Anise.

"Iron Tail?" Luke asked Diaz. "It's a pretty common Steel Type Move, where the Pokemon's tail turns silver and has a lot of power in it." Diaz said to Luke. "If what you're saying is true, then how do you explain the man who looked just like you that took Ion or the darker Miles?" Whina asked Diaz.

"The darker Miles could just be a regular Cyclizar, because mine is shiny. As for the man that looks exactly like me, I have no clue." Diaz said to Whina, as Jade rubbed his chin. "We can figure out what's going on later. For now let's go get those Dark Wings." Guy said to everyone. "You can't! The God-General Sync is right outside the city." Anise said to Guy.

"This is bad. If the Six God-Generals are outside, they'll find out that we're going by land." Tear said to everyone. "Huh? You're not going to Akzeriuth by ship?" Anise asked everyone. "No, that's a decoy. Damn it, we've got to find a way out." Luke said to everyone.

"Given how this city is made, I don't think we'll get out of here without blowing the decoy plan." Diaz said to everyone. "If you're going to leave the city. Then take me, Whina, and our Pokemon with you on your way! If I can get outside the city, we can look for Ion!" Anise asked everyone.

"What do you think Jade?" Luke asked Jade. "I suppose we can't refuse her. It sounds like Mohs isn't involved in Ion's kidnapping this time." Jade said to everyone. "Yeah, we went after Mohs first when Ion was taken, but he swears he has nothing to do with Ion." Whina said to Jade. "That's right. Mohs was mad when we kept pestering him about it." Anise said to Jade.

"Then, Grand Maestro Mohs and the Six-god-Generals really aren't connected?" Tear asked everyone. "Though, whether Mohs is trying to cause a war or not is a separate issue." Jade said to Tear.

"Mohs was lying to the king about what's happening in Engeve and Saint Binah. But if the God-Generals aren't helping Mohs with a war, then what are they after?" Diaz asked everyone.

"Didn't they take Ion to that place called the Sephiroth?" Luke asked everyone. "Yes, but we don't know what they did there. And I don't know what a Sephiroth is, in the first place." Diaz said to Luke.

"We don't have enough information to guess. Right now, we should concentrate on getting out of this city." Jade said to everyone. "Easier said than done. Like I said, given the city layout, the only exits are the dock and front gate." Diaz said to everyone.

"Wait… I know a way. Let's go to the abandoned factory in the old part of the city. We can get there by aircar." Guy said to everyone. "The abandoned factory? Okay." Luke said to everyone, as Guy started to lead them to the old part of the city.

After a bit of walking, Guy suddenly stopped. "That's strange. There's usually a soldier here." Guy said to everyone. "A soldier? Why?" Luke asked Guy. "This place is off-limits." Guy said to Luke, as a guy walked behind them and overheard Guy and Luke talking.

"If you're looking for that soldier, he just left saying he'd been called off to the castle. Are you people going to the old factory, too? I just saw two young ladies get on the aircar a moment ago. I wonder why this place is so popular all of a sudden." The man said to everyone, before walking away.

"Hmm? So someone else is headed there, too?" Anise asked everyone. "Does it matter? Let's just get on this thing and go." Luke said to everyone. "It does matter. So let's stay on guard and proceed with caution. For all we know Oracle knights are waiting for us down there." Diaz said to Luke. "Diaz is right. So let's be ready for anything." Guy said to everyone, before they got onto the aircar, and it started to go down.

Once it reached the bottom they found themselves in a massive abandoned factory. "So you know Baticul was built in the crater made by a fallen fonstone, right?" Guy asked everyone, as they got off the aircar. "Yes, they did it for natural defenses. But what does that have to do with this place?" Diaz asked Guy

"If we go in through here, we should be able to make it out through the crater wall." Guy said to Diaz, pointing deep into the factory. That's when Jade realized the idea Guy had.

"Yes, of course. If this was a factory, then…" Jade said, but was interrupted by Tear, who figured out the plan. "There would have to be facilities to dispose of waste water." Tear said to everyone.

"Exactly. The sewage facility here doesn't work anymore, but we should be able to go through it." Guy said to everyone. "My, you certainly do know a lot about it, Guy." A familiar female voice said to Guy. "Should we be impressed or grossed out by that fact you know that." Another familiar female voice said to Guy.

This surprised everyone, and made them turn around to see Natalia and Qadira standing behind them, wearing new clothes.

Natalia was wearing a blue and white top with loose, white sleeves that trail down into matching white gloves and blue bandannas around her wrists. The collar of her top is ruffled and fitted around her neck with an orange bandanna. She wears thigh-high white boots that extend down to brown, heeled boots, and on her back was a bow and quiver full of arrows.

Qadira was still wearing a black maid outfit, but her skirt was now shorter going to her knees and had a layer of chain mail over it, white armor boots that went up to her knees, white metal armor in her front that looked like a apron, while armor gloves, a white armor shoulder pad on her right shoulder, the headband on her head was now made out of metal, and on her back was a massive 3 foot long sword that was 1 foot wide, with two leather straps on it's holster, with one leather strap going around her waist, and the other one over right shoulder.

"I found you." Natalia said to Luke. "It's more like we knew he would come here and waited for him, My Lady." Qadira said to Natalia, as they walked up to everyone.

"What are you two doing here? And why are you dressed like that?" Luke asked them. "Why do you think? Two bitter enemies are finally about to make peace. This is no time for a princess to be sitting at home." Natalia said to Luke. "And as Natalia's personal maid and emergency bodyguard, I must accompany her on this dangerous mission." Qadira said to Luke.

"Are you stupid? The world outside is no place for a spoiled little girl." Luke said to Natalia. "Like you're any better?" Diaz asked Luke. "Shut up." Luke said to Diaz.

"Natalia, you may wind up having to fight people, you know. Not just monsters." Luke said to Natalia. "Three years ago, at the battle in northern Chesedonia, I paid a visit to encourage the troops." Natalia said to Luke. "Against her father's wishes." Qadira said to everyone.

"Nevertheless. I'm prepared for battle." Natalia said to everyone. "As am I." Qadira said to everyone. "Raising morale and actually fighting are two different things. You two are probably better off staying behind." Anise said to Natalia and Qadira. "With all due respect, I'm afraid I have to agree." Tear said to them.

"Your highness, I think it would be best if you returned to the castle with Qadira." Guy said to Natalia. "Silence! I am a master of Lanvaldear-style archery! I'm also a studied healer! Plus Qadira is really dangerous with that sword of hers. We'll certainly be more useful than this empty-head Oracle Knights or that uncivil one." Natailia said to everyone, pointing to Tear and Anise.

"Anybody else think I should rip Daddy's little girl a new hole?" Anise asked everyone. "Please don't do anything Anise. Even with your rank, doing anything major to her will most likely end up with you getting executed." Whina said to Anise.

"If you even live that long after trying to strike her. For once you try to hurt her, I will have no choice but to crush you." Qadira said to Anise. "Like you can crush anything more than a bug." Anise said to Qadira.

"I'll have you know. During our visit, the Malkuth forces attacked our base, and during that attack, while Natalia was giving me cover with her arrows and healing the wounded, I smashed all the Malkuth soldiers that tried to take over the base." Qadira said to Anise.

"Oh, so your "The Maid"?" Jade asked Qadira. "You know her?" Diaz asked Jade. "Only by reports and rumors. After that battle I reserved a report of a maid fighting the soldiers. Crushing them with a giant sword in one hand, throwing cannonballs like they were tiny rocks in the other hand, and stomping on them so hard she put them six feet under." Jade said to Diaz.

"You're making that up right?" Diaz asked Jade. "Oh course he is. I've never stomped on anyone. I find it very rude to stomp on another person. But I must admit, even I didn't know I made a name for myself in Malkuth." Qadira said to Diaz and Jade.

"Oh please, a boot kisser like her can be anything more than a fancy brat sitter." Anise said to everyone. "How vulgar. You demonstrate your lack of refinement." Natalia said to Anise. "This is some princess." Tear said to everyone, looking away from her and putting a hand on her head. "I'm starting to like her, even if she's Kimlascan." Whina said to everyone.

"Well, now, this is getting fun." Jade said to everyone. "Maybe for you. But I don't think Guy can handle two more women on the team." Diaz said to Jade, looking at a tired Guy. "This is why women scare me." Guy said to everyone.

"Look, whatever, just don't follow us!" Luke said to Natalia and Qadira. (Like they're going to listen to you) Charcadet said to Luke, as Natalia moved closer to Luke. "I'll tell them about you-know-what." Natalia said to Luke. "What are you talking about?" Luke asked Natalia.

"I overheard you talking to Dorian General Grants beneath the castle." Natalia said to Luke panticed and rushed Natalia, grabbing her hand, and dragging her to the other side of the room.

"How much did you hear?!" Luke asked Natalia. "That he's the one who kidnapped you, and that you're going to flee to Daath." Natalia said to Luke. "What about before that?" Luke asked Natalia.

"I didn't hear anything else. I didn't go there to eavesdrop. I just thought I'd ask you to take me along." Natalia said to Luke. "If I do, will you keep quiet about it?" Luke asked Natalia. "As long as you'll remember your promise to me even after you escaped to Daath." Natalia said to Luke.

"Okay, pinky swear." Luke said to Natalia. Then the two shook pinkies. "Pinky swearing. I thought you hated that?" Natalia asked Luke. "Huh?" Luke asked Natalia. "Never mind." Natalia said to Luke, before walking back to the others.

"I've decided Natalia and Qadira should come with us." Luke said to everyone. "Luke. I can't believe you." Tear said to Luke. "Shut up! I'm the ambassador! What I say goes! Understand?!" Luke said to Tear.

"It looked more like she's blackmailing you to join." Diaz said to Luke. "What! No! She didn't blackmail me?" Luke said to Diaz. "Then care to share what you and Van talked about in the dungeon?" Diaz asked Luke.

"It's nothing important." Luke said to Diaz. "If it's not important then tell us." Diaz said to Luke. "Uh… Look, we can talk about this later. First we need to get out of the city." Luke said to Diaz.

"Fine. But we will talk about this later, and when things go wrong, we're throwing you under the bus." Diaz said to Luke. "What's a bus?" Luke said to Diaz. "Oh right. You're both a moron and probably do have buses in his world." Diaz said to Luke. "Hey!" Luke said to Diaz.

"Now, now, why don't we all calm down. I'm sure we'll get along just fine." Natalia said to everyone. "Yeah, getting along isn't something we all do. It's more like we tolerate each other's existence." Whina said to Natalia. "Well that's reassuring." Qadira said, thinking out loud.

"Let's just move on." Diaz said to everyone. "Right. Oh, and everyone, please just speak normally with me, and call me Natalia. Otherwise, people may find out that I'm the princess." Natalia said to everyone. (Besides your maid, I doubt anyone here is going to respect you enough to call you princess.) Miles said to Natalia, as they started walking.

After a bit of walking, Natalia was a good 10 feet away from the group. "Hey, Natalia! Slow down, would you?!" Luke asked Natalia, as they all stopped. "What? Are you tired already? How disappointing." Natalia said to Luke.

"Th-That's not what I'm saying!" Luke said to Natalia. "Ugh. For a princess, she's got the stamina of a farm hand." Anise said, thinking out loud. "Did you say something?" Natalia asked Anise. But before Anise answered, she noticed a mean look from Qadira. "Nothing!" Anise said to Natalia, as Qadira stopped giving Anise the mean look.

"Fon Master Ion's been kidnapped, remember? Besides, we need to work as quickly as possible for the sake of all who are suffering. Am I wrong?" Natalia asked everyone. "You're not. But rushing into things is how things go from bad to worse." Whina said to Natalia.

"She's right. This area is dark, so I think we should be a little cautious." Tear said to Natalia. "She's right, Your Highness. Please, if you would, walk more slowly." Guy said to Natalia.

"Guy! I told you not to treat me as a princess!" Natalia said to Guy. "Oh, that's right. My humblest apollo-err, I mean, sorry." Guy said to Natalia. "Don't be hard on him, after all we're more used to treating you like a princess than an average person, My Lady." Qadira said to Natalia.

"Qadira, what did I just say?" Natalia asked Qadira. "I know, but the idea of calling you Natalia bothers me, My Lady." Qadira said to Natalia. "What am I going to do with you?" Natalia said to Qadira.

"Natalia. The 23 of us are in this together. It's not right for everyone to cater to your needs. For the time being, at least, you've cast aside your status as royalty, correct?" Jade said to Natalia.

"Sorry? 23? I count 9 of us." Natalia said to Jade. "He's counting the Pokemon as well, even the ones that are hidden on me. Now answer his question." Diaz said to Natalia. "You're right. I'm sorry. I've cast aside my status as royalty." Natalia said to Diaz.

"Wow, never expected to hear her say that." Anise said, earning a hit on the head by Diaz. "Owh." Anise said, as she rubbed her head. "Thank you for silencing her." Natalia said to Diaz, making Tear put a hand on her head.

"Ahh, it's so wonderful to see everyone come to understand one another." Jade said, thinning out loud. "You need to get your ears checked." Luke said to Jade, before everyone started to walk.

After a while they started walking down a long hallway, but this hallway creeped Tear out, and Jade noticed this. "Tear?" Jade asked Tear, making Tear scream a little in fear. Anise used Tear's scream as a chance to fake a scream and hug Luke.

"Tear? What was that?" Diaz asked Tear. "It was nothing." Tear said to Diaz. "What do you think happened Luke?" Anise asked Luke, still holding onto Luke. "I have no idea." Luke said to Anise.

"You vulgar little girl, let go of Luke." Natalia said to Anise. "No way. It's scary here. What if there's a ghost here? So maybe there's a few Ghost types around here." Diaz said to everyone.

"THERE ARE NOT GHOST HERE!" Tear yelled to everyone, making everyone look at her with an odd look on their faces. "I… I… I… mean there's no such thing as ghosts. So let's just keep moving." Tear to everyone, a little fear in her voice, as she walked away.

But Tear wasn't paying attention to where she was going and ran into a cable, causing her to scream again. This makes everyone look at her, and Tear's embarrassingly walk away again.

"I think she's afraid of ghosts." Jade said to everyone. "You gotta be kidding me. This is just great." Luke said to everyone, as Anise moved away from Luke.

But then Tear came running back. The reason, purple spikes suddenly came shooting from the direction they were walking. "What the?!" Luke asked, as everyone moved around, dodging the spikes, and they landed on the floor around them. But then the spike sank into the floor, making purple circles appear on the floor.

"What was that about?" Guy asked everyone. "Oh Luke, this is scary." Anise said to Luke, as she tried to hug Luke again. But Diaz noticed she was about to step on one of the circles.

"ANISE WAIT!" Diaz said to Anise, grabbing the back of her clothes and pulling her towards him. "Everyone, don't move! Those spikes were a Pokemon attack, called Toxic Spikes. If you step on a circle, a poison cloud will burst out of it and badly poison you." Diaz said to everyone.

"There's no way something like that could happen." Natalia said to Daiz. "Then toss an arrow onto a circle and prove me wrong." Diaz said to Natalia. "Very well." Natalia said to Diaz, as she pulled out an arrow and dropped an arrow on a purple circle. This caused the purple circle to burst, letting out a purple cloud, before the cloud and circle quickly dissipated.

"Believe me now?" Diaz asked Natalia, making Natalia look away from him. "How did you know about this?" Jade asked Diaz. "Because one of my Pokemon knows this attack." Diaz said to Jade, before they heard scrapping come from up ahead. This made everyone turn their heads to see a Pokemon charging at them.

The Pokemon had a stone body, with four rough round stone wheels on its side, it had a silver engine on top of the body, with one yellow eye in an exhaust opening, eight exhaust opening, with purple tips, and a motor on the top with a tongue sticking out of it.

And this Pokemon was charging at Diaz at a high speed. "Speak of the engine Kansan, my Revavroom. Good to see yo…" Diaz said to the Pokemon, but stopped talking when the Pokemon rammed into Diaz gut, forcing Diaz to the floor.

(That's what you get for making me wait.) Kansan said to Diaz. "He's upset that you made him wait." Mieu said to Diaz. "I figured that." Diaz said to Mieu. "You know this thing?" Natalia asked Diaz. "Kansan is a he, not a thing. I know he reeks of toxic fumes, and has a bit of an attitude, but he's not that bad. Here." Diaz said to Natalia, pulling out his Rotom Phone.

This made Kansan huff with anger in his voice, before he started to spin around. "Don't worry Kansan. We'll find her soon, then you two can be all as lovely dovely as you want." Diaz said to Kansan, making Kansan stop spinning and turn to Diaz. (I'll hold you to that.) Kansan said to Diaz.

"How can a machine love?" Natalia asked Diaz, making Kansan turn to Natalia, with a mean look in his eye. (Just because I'm made of iron doesn't mean I'm heartless.) Kansan said to Natalia. "He says he's not heartless." Mieu said to Natalia.

"But how can something that's made out of iron and rocks have a heart?" Natalia asked everyone, agitating Kansan. (Why you little… Spin Out.) Kansan said, as his wheels turned silver, and he started to spin in a circle. Then Kansan started to move in a circle around Natalia, making sparks, and scaring Natalia.

"KANSAN! ENOUGH!" Diaz said to Kansan, with a serious tune in his voice, making Kansan stop. "Sorry Natalia, but you deserved that." Diaz said to Natalia. "Why did I deserve that?" Natalia asked Diaz.

"Just because something isn't like you or me doesn't make it less alive, less likely to enjoy life, or less likely to feel love. If you want us not to treat you like the princess of this land, then stop acting like one or a know it all." Diaz said to Natalia.

(She's the princess!) Kansan said, his motor getting louder. "What now, Kasan?" Diaz asked Kasan. (Her father forces chase, not only me, but many other Pokemon through the city. All with the intent to kill us. If it wasn't for the fact I know Toxic Spike and Sandstrom, many lives would have been lost.) Kansan said to everyone.

"He says the king tried to kill him and some other Pokemon." Mieu said to everyone. "My father would never do that." Natalia said to everyone. (Tell them that.) Kansan said to Natalia, as a large number of steps could be heard.

That's when a large number of small Steel Types came into view. (The rest were able to escape, but these Pokemon need metal to live. And with the threat of being hunted, we're forced to hide down here.) Kansan said to Natalia. "He says that they're forced to hide here by the threat of the king." Mieu said to everyone.

"You poor things." Whina said to the Pokemon. "My Lady, maybe we should help them?" Qadira asked Natalia. "We should, but how? If my father really did force them down here, he must think they are dangerous. How can I convince him they're not?" Natalia asked Qadira, crossing her arms and closing her eyes.

"Well, you can have one of them help keep you safe. I'm sure that could convince him." Qadira said to Natalia. "That might work." Natalia said to Qadira. "Kansan, are there any Pokemon that will keep me safe?" Natalia asked Kansan.

(If you want a Pokemon, I know just the partner, one who not only fancy for a princess, but who's body is tough enough to withstand an ambush, should you be lying and planning to attack him. Beldum, come forward.

That's when a Pokemon came floating out of the group of Pokemon. It looked like a silver leg with three gold triangles on the bottom of it, and the upper part of the knee joint had a single black eye with a red iris in it.

"Cool a shiny Beldum." Diaz said to everyone. "Shiny?" Natalia asked Diaz. "Here's a picture of a normal one." Diaz said to Natalia, pointing his Rotom Phone at Beldum.

"So he's special?" Natalia asked Diaz. "They. The Beldum line is gender unknown. So they're called a "they"." Diaz said to Natalia.

(Beldum. I want you to be their princess' partner. If she tries anything, let me know, and I'll handle it.) Kansan said to Beldum, with an annoyed tune in his voice. (Of course.) Beldum said to Natalia, sounding like they didn't like it, but accepted it.

"It sounds like they don't like it." Natalia said to Diaz. "Well can't help you there. But if you want to try and forge a connection, try giving Beldum a name." Diaz said to Natalia. "Alright. Let me think." Natalia said to Diaz, as she started to think.

Natalia thought for a few seconds. "Beldum, are you okay with the name Plata?" Natalia asked Beldum. (Plata? Uh? Very well. You can call me that." Beldum, now Plata, said to Natalia. "He said he liked it." Mieu said to Natalia. (I didn't say that.) Plata said to Mieu.

Then Qadira noticed a small one foot tall pink human shape Pokemon, with stubby legs, thick arms that have three round bumps for fingers, a around head with a tiny ponytail on time, large oval white eyes, a single pink under tooth, a dark metal diamond in her chest, and in her right hand was a rattle made out of steel.

"Oh, Yulia, you're so cute." Qadira said, moving to the Pokemon, surprising the Pokemon. "Easy Qadira. That's a Tinkatink, she may be small and cute, but they're known for making their hammer out of iron scrap with their bare hands." Diaz said to Qadira. "Are you serious, this little thing?" Luke asked Diaz. "here." Diaz said to Luke, as he showed Luke his Rotom Phone.

"That may be true, but look at her. She's so cute." Qadira said to everyone, as Diaz put his Rotom Phone away. (You think I'm cute? You don't think I'm strange or silly?) Tinkatink asked Qadira. "She's wondering if you're telling the truth." Mieu said to Qadria.

"Of course I am. Why would I lie, I mean look at the tiny body of yours with that dark pink color. Not to mention that pretty hammer you made yourself." Qadira said to Tinkatink. (Thanks.) Tinkatink said to Qadira.

"You know if you help me protect My Lady, I'll help take care of you and make sure things are better for you then living in fear of being hunted." Qadira said to Tinkatink. (Really? Well that does sound nice. So yes.) Tinkatink said to Qadira. "She said yes." Mieu said to Qadira. "That was a convocation to say yes." Luke said, thinking out loud.

"Well then welcome Babila." Qadira said to Tinkatink. (Babila?) Tinkatink asked Qadira. "She's wondering what that is?" Mieu said to Qadira. "It's your name. Do you like it?" Qadira asked Tinkatink. (Oh, in that case yes I do, I just never heard that word before and wondered what it was.) Tinkatink, now Babila, said to Qadira. "She likes it." Mieu said to Qadira.

"Enough with all this silly stuff, we have to get out of here." Luke said to everyone, with a harsh tune in his voice. "Rude as always. " Diaz said to Luke. "Kansan, you've been for some time, any idea where we could get out?" Diaz asked Kansan. (That I do. Follow me.) Kansan said to everyone, as he started to move down the hallway.

"Kansan said he knows a way out, so follow him." Mieu said to everyone. "Who said we're following him?" Luke asked everyone. "Considering we were heading that way, it doesn't matter." Diaz said to Luke. "Shut up." Luke said to Diaz, before everyone started to walk.

(Kansan? Can the Steel Types survive without you?) Miles asked Kansan, as they kept walking. (I knew I would leave one day, so I made sure they were ready for that day. They know what to do. And as long as they stay here, they'll be fine.) Kansan said to Miles. (If you say so.) Miles said to Kansan.

After a bit more walking, a nasty smell made everyone stop in an open area. "Something smells." Luke said to everyone. "It smells greasy!" Anise said to everyone. "Maybe. It's from when the factory was running? No, it's too strong for that…" Guy said to everyone.

(Kansan, any ideas what's that smell?) Miles asked Kansan. (I have an idea. Sometimes monsters sneak in down here and are covered in the things people left down here.) Kansan said to Miles.

"Kansan says it might be a monster." Mieu said to everyone. That's when some skittering could be heard. "Wait! I hear something." Tear said to everyone. "I don't hear anything." Natalia said to Tear.

"No, there's definitely something here. And Kansan might be right about a monster." jade said to everyone. "Everyone be quiet, weapons out, and keep your ears open. It could come from anywhere." Diaz said to everyone, as they got ready to fight, with Qadira's weapon still on her back.

"Look out!" Tear said to Natalia, as she pushed Natalia to the side. The reason, a monster covered in sticky purple goo came down from the ceiling and onto the spot Natalia was standing in.

"Uah! Here it comes!" Anise said to everyone. "Let's do this Miles." Diaz said, as he spun the tire on his belt, making a giant purple crystal tire popped out of Miles' throat. "TERASTALLIZING!" Diaz yelled, as the tire hit him and caused the tire to fall apart. VIOLET IRON!" A techno voice said, from the belt, as the crystals broke apart, revealing Diaz in his Violet Iron form.

(What the?) Kansen asked, as all the new members looked at Diaz in amazement. "I'll tell you more about this later. Fight now!" Diaz said to everyone, as he shot electric shots at the monster, only for the goo to negate the electricity.

"Well that's not working." Diaz said to everyone, as the monster charged at them. (Then let's try this! Giga Impact!) Miles said, as he let out a massive surge of white energy. (I'm with you Miles. Spin Out!) Kansan said, as his wheels turned silver, and he spun in a circle. Then the two of them charged at the monster, slamming into it with full force.

But the monster's goo took all the damage, and all Miles and Kansan did was force it back. "It seems Physical attacks have very little effect on this thing. So let's try this." Jade said to everyone, as he casted a lighting spell, striking the monster, and dealing some damage.

"Looks like you're right." Tear said to Jade. "Liran/ and Inesa/ use Round." Tear and Whina said to Liran and Inesa. (ON IT!) Liran and Inesa said, as Liran let out a red soundwave, and Inesa let out a blue soundwave. The soundwaves resonated, and hit the monster, making it roar in irritation from the sound. This agitated it even more and made it charge at everyone.

"Susu 1, 2, 3, use Quick Attack and move around it at high speed to distract it." Jade said to the Susu's. (Right.) The Susu's said, as they glowed white and moved at high speed around the monster, making the monster stop, and try and figure out what the Susu's were doing.

"Perfect. Now Charcadet use Ember." Luke said to Charcadet. (Are you sure that's a good idea?) Charcadet asked Luke. "Just do it." Luke said to Charcadet. (I still think this is a bad idea) Charcadet said to Luke, before firing a small burst of flames.

And Charcadet was right. Once the burst of flames hit the monster, it caused the goo to set ablaze, and the monster was unaffected by the flames. But the flames did surprise everyone else, and caused a few members of the team to panic a little, Anise being the one that panicked the most.

"AH! FIE PUT THAT FIRE OUT WITH GUST!" Anise said to Fie. (Alright, alright. No need to yell.) Fie said to Anise, as he flapped his wings, blowing a gust of wind at the monster, trying to put out the fire.

"And Lokej help Fie with Sand Attack." Guy said to Lokej. (On it.) Lokej said, as he swiped his leek on the floor, kicking up sand, and making the sand land on the fire. A few seconds later the fire was put out, but the monster was still alive, and it charged at everyone.

Natalia then started to fire arrows into the monsters, but the goo caught the arrows, so all Natalia did was anger the monster and make it charge at Natalia. (Look out. Iron Defense.) Plata said, as they moved in front of Natalia, and turned silver. They then rammed into the monster. This caused the monster to stop moving.

(Get back. Brutal Swing.) Babila said, as her hammer glowed black, and she spun her hammer around. Babila then hit the monster in the side, making it move away from everyone, but the goo protected it from the damage.

(Reflect.) Jataayu said, as his eyes glowed pink, forming a pink glass wall in front of the monster. (That should buy us time to figure out how to deal with this thing.) Jataayu said to everyone. But that's when the monster started to climb the glass barrier. (Or not.) Jataayu said to everyone.

"That goo on it, is being a real problem. Our attacks can't break through it" Guy said to everyone, as Diaz had an idea. "If we can't break it then let's freeze it. " Diaz said to Guy, as he put the Ignition Key into the slot, with the light blue side facing him.

"Ice!" A techno voice said from the belt. Diaz then hit the button This caused the handle to pop out of the slot, minus the crystal, and made the tire spin clockwise, with the tire glowing light blue. This made Miles' tire sack glow light blue, and a giant light blue crystal tire popped out of Miles' throat, and headed for Diaz.

"TERASTALLIZING!" Diaz yelled, as the tire hit him and caused the tire to fall apart. This let out a light blue pulse of energy, and the crystals attached to Diaz's body. "IRON BUNDLE." A techno voice said, from the belt, as the crystals broke apart, revealing Diaz his Iron Bundle form.

That's when the monster got over the glass wall. "Heads up everyone, things are about to get cold." Diaz said to everyone, as he spun his tire clockwise.

That's when the giant glass ball moved from his back to the back of his blaster, and the baster flipped, to the barrel was facing him and the glass ball was facing monster, all the while, Diaz kept spinking his tire clockwise, causing a massive amount of snow to be made in the glass ball.

"WINTER WONDERLAND!" Diaz said, as he pressed the button, and the glass ball popped open, and a blizzard came bursting out of it. The blizzard covered the area in snow, and was so cold that the goo on the monster froze.

"Winter Wonderland?" Luke asked Diaz. "I told you I was thinking of names for my moves, and that move did cover the area in snow." Diaz said to Luke. "That's stupid." Luke said to Diaz. "We'll talk about this later." Diaz said to Luke

"Kansan care to use Spin Out again?" Diaz asked Kansan. (Of course.) Kansan said, as his wheels turned silver, and he spun in a circle, moving towards the monster, and ramming into it. This not only pushed the monster back, but with the goo being frozen, the goo broke, revealing it to be a spider monster.

"Good now we can kill it." Luke said to everyone. "Leave it to me. After all, it's just a spider now." Qadira said to everyone, as she used only right hand to pull out her sword. Then Qadira pointed the tip of her sword at the monster with just her right hand, before crashing at it, like she wasn't off balanced by the sword in her right hand.

"What the?" Diaz asked as he watched her charge at the spider, and swung her sword around like it was nothing, cutting the spider to pieces, like the spider was made of paper.

"Qadira has unnatural strength, and before meeting me, she kept breaking everything she touched and no one wanted. But I saw a lovely soul in her. So I had our castle maids teach her how to be gentle through their work. And when she finally got a handle on her strength, my father made her my personal maid, as well as my emergency bodyguard." Natalia said to Diaz.

"My Lady, the spider monster is dead. I would clean it up, but I don't have a mop." Qadira said to Natalia, as she walked away from a gross pile of monster pieces, and put her sword back on her back.

"What the heck was that thing?" Luke asked everyone, as everyone put their weapons away, and Diaz turned back into his Iron Violet form by closing the slot on the side of his tire.

"It's not one I've seen around here before. The inside looked like a spider." Guy said to everyone. "Well, it's hardly surprising that an abandoned factory has a few spiders, but…" Tear said to everyone, before going quiet. "None as gooey as this." Whina said to everyone, finishing Tear's sentence.

"The oil it was feeding on may have caused a mutation due to fonon activity." Jade said to everyone. "Doesn't matter now. It's dead." Qadira said to Jade, as Natalia walked up to Tear.

"Tear." Natalia said to Tear, getting Tear's attention. "Yes?" Tear asked Natalia. "Thank you. You saved me. I'm sorry for the trouble I caused you and everyone." Natalia said to Tear, surprising Tear. "It's all right." Tear said to Natalia, putting her hand behind her back.

"No it's not. Don't drag us down, Natalia." Luke said to Natalia. This made him get a hit to the back of his head from Diaz. "Would it kill you to be considerate? Do you even know that word?" Diaz asked Luke, as his face turned to the word considerate, and under it was "Showing careful thought".

"Whatever." Luke said to Diaz. "By the way, where's this sewage facility?" Luke asked Guy. "I imagine it's down below." Guy said to Luke. (Who needs a sewer when the emergency exit works even better.) Kansan said to Huy, as he moved to the back of the room.

When Kansan stopped moving, everyone noticed he stopped by a large exit, and the reason no one noticed it before was because it's dark and gray outside. "Hey, is that an emergency exit?" Guy asked everyone. "I knew Kansan was leading us somewhere good." Diaz said to everyone. "Let's take a look." Jade said to everyone, as they moved to the exit.

Once they got to the exit, they noticed a ladder pulled up, and it was raining outside. "Okay, if we lower the ladder there, we should be able to get outside." Luke said to everyone. "Yes, Master. Once we get out of here, it's on to Chesedonia!" Mieu said to Luke.

"Chesedonia lies across the desert. There should be an oasis midway, so we'll stop there to rest." Tear said to Luke. "Guy, you head down first. Catch me if I slip." Natalia said to Guy. "You're telling me to do that knowing full well that I can't, right?" Guy asked Natalia.

"I need you to get over your phobia, or we'll have problems once Luke and I are married." Natalia said to Guy. "Luke prefers much younger, cuter girls, don't you Luke? You can call off that silly engagement any time." Anise said to Luke, with a sweet tune in her voice, and grabbing Luke's hips again.

"Excuse me?!" Natalia asked Anise. "What?!" Anise said to Natalia. "Luke, you're despicable." Tear said to Luke, putting a hand on her head. "I'll never understand what you two see in him." Qadira said to Natalia and Anise. "I agree with the maid." Whina said to everyone.

"What?! Like this is my fault?!" Luke asked everyone. "It's nice to see you all getting along so well." Jade said to everyone. "Are you blind?!" Luke said to Jade. "Okay, enough! Let's just get going, you girls can fight over Luke later. Much, much, much later." Diaz said to everyone, as he moved to the ladder.

Once they finished calming down the latter, they found an Oracle landship with it's main side door and , a handful of Oracle knights satter around, with two Oracle knights holding Ion, Asch with his back towards everyone, and a Ceruledge right next to Asch, making steam as the rain drops hit him.

Ceruledge was the first to notice everyone. (Asch, we got company.) Ceruledge said to Asch. This made Asch turn his head a little. "Take care of them." Asch said to Ceruledge. (Of course.) Ceruledge said, as he moved to the group, and got in their way.

(Hello everyone, my name is Carlo. I know you're here for Ion. But if you want him, you'll have to get past me first.) Ceruledge, now Carlo, said to everyone. "His name is Carlo, and if we want Ion, we need to get past him first." Mieu said to everyone.

"Just him, this will be easy." Luke said to everyone. "No it won't. Carlo is a Ceruledge, one of the evolved forms of Charcadet, and is known for their savage and merciless fighting style. Here." Diaz said to everyone, as he pulled out his Rotom Phone.

Text/An old set of armor steeped in grudges caused this Pokemon evolution. Ceruledge cuts its enemies to pieces without mercy.

"Still, he's alone. We can take him." Luke said to everyone. (Just because I'm outnumbered and it's raining, doesn't automatically mean you can bet me.) Carlo said to Luke. "He says you still can't beat him." Mieu said to everyone. "Man, he's a cocky one." Luke said, thinking out loud.

(No you're the cocky one. Thinking that you're special because someone says so and putting no effort into anything you do. But me, I've gone through harder training to get to where I am.) Carlo said to Luke. "He said, you're the cocky one. That you put no effort into anything. And that he had harder training than you." Mieu said to Luke.

"Are you saying you're better than me?!" Luke asked Carlo, getting agitated. (In terms of sword fighting, I'm a true warrior, while you're a little kid playing pretend with a toy sword.) Carlo said to Luke. "He said he's a worrier, and that you're a kid playing with a toy sword." Mieu said to Luke. "That's it!" Luke said, as he pulled out his sword.

"Hand over Ion now!" Luke said to Carlo, as he rushed Carlo. But Carlo was unfazed by Luke's actions, and easily blocked Luke's attack with one of his flames blades. "What?" Luke asked, looking at Carlo.

(Did you really think your simple attack will do. I may not have finished my training, but even with half of what I know, the Rokurou fighting style of my home land is strong enough to handle any weak warrior like you.) Carlo said, as he pulled back a little, making Luke lose his balance for a second, and in that second, Carlo lunged forward, pushing the dull side of Luke's weapon into Luke's chest and sending Luke flying off to the side, and making Luke crash back first into the ground.

(So who's next?) Carlo asked everyone. (He's good.) Miles said to everyone. (Then let's try to slow him down. Sandstorm!) Kansan said, as he spun his wheels into the ground, kicking up a sandstorm, and with the sandstorm and rain happening at the same time, wet sand started to stick on Carlo, jamming him up. But with the rain on, the sandstorm only lasted for a bit before it was completely washed away.

(Not a bad idea. This would be a good way to jam up a Pokemon and make it harder for them to move. But…) Carlo said to everyone, before he generated some heat, making steam as the rain hit him, and drying up the sand. Then Carlo flexed, breaking the sand off him.

(I'm not a normal Pokemon. Bitter Blade!) Carlo said, as his blades became encased in purple flames, and he charged at everyone. (I'll stall him. Figure out how to bet him. Protect!) Jataayu said to everyone, as he charged at Carlo. Jataayu then formed a green bubble around himself, before blocking Carlo's blades.

"Right. Susu 1, 2, 3, use Bite." Jade said to the Susu's, as he chased a lighting spell on Carlo, stunning Carlo, and giving Jataayu a chance to get away from Carlo. (On it.) The Susu's said, as they charged at Carlo, and bit him on his legs and neck.

"Good, now Fie use Thief." Anise said to Fie, as she pulled out her bear and made it a large monster bear. (Right.) Fie said to Anise as they charged at Carlo, who still had the Susu's on him.

(Flame Charge.) Carlo said, as his body was encased in purple flames. Doing this caused the Susu's to get off him, like they were burned off. Then the flame died down. (Now Bitter Blade!) Carlo said, as his blades became encased in purple flames, as Anise and Fie reached him.

Carlo then used one of his blades to swat Fie away, and ramming the other one into Anise bear making it shrink down, and making Anise fall to the ground. (If you survive this fight, bring an actual weapon next time.) Carlo said to Anise, before kicking Anise in the face, sending her flying away.

"Lokej use Brutal Swing." Guy said to Lokej. (Okay.) Lokej said to Guy. (I'll help you with my Brutal Swing.) Babila said to Lokej, as they both started to swing their weapons around, and did a pincer attack on Carlo.

(A pincer attack. Not bad, but not good enough. Bitter Blade!) Carlo said, as his blades became encased in purple flames. Carlo then planned one of his blades into the ground and the other up into his head. The reason, Babila's attack was heading for Carlo's legs, while Lokej's attack was heading for Carlo's head.

But Carlo's blades block those attacks. (See what I mean?) Carlo said to Babila and Lokej, before forcing them back.

"Well that idea is tossed out the window. Any other ideas?" Whina asked everyone. "Liran please Sing with me." Tear said to Liran. (Oh I get it.) Liran said, as she and Tear started to sing a gentle song. Everyone then figured out what they were doing, and rushed Carlo, their weapons drawn.

(A smart move. Trying to put me to sleep with a song.) Carlo said to Tear and Liran, as he yawned a little. (Gust I'll just have to dance to your tune if I want to stay away. Sword Dance.) Carlo said, as he started to dance, glowing red, as red lights in the shape of swords moved around him.

Carlo then started to dance to Tear and Liran's song, dodging everyone's attack with ease, and striking them, sending flying back a little. Then when Tear and Liran finished their song with shocked looks on their faces, Carlo bowed to everyone, like he just finished a performance.

"How is he still awake, and able to do all that?" Guy asked everyone. (The Rokurou fighting style of my home land is a style where you will face any large numbers of enemies alone. Where you must adapt for whatever your enemy brings, and use their battle flow against them. Because if you don't, then you'll be washed away by your enemies' might. Not that you fools have any might.) Carlo said to everyone.

"He said, we're too weak for that to work." Mieu said to everyone. (I didn't say that you annoying little pest. I'm getting tired of you messing up my translations. Time to turn you into fire food. Bitter Blade!) Carlo said, as his blades became encased in purple flames, and he charged at Mieu, scaring Mieu.

(Stay away from him. DISARMING VOICE!) Inesa said to Carlo, firing a pink sonic pulse with hearts in it at Carlo. This made Carlo stop and turn to the sound wave. Carlo then slashed threw the sound wave, snuffing it out.

That's when Carlo turned back to Mieu. Only to looked down and noticed Charcadet infornt of him. (Astonish.) Charcadet said, as his face became big and dark. This normal would startle someone for a couple seconds, but Carlo wasn't startled at all, in fact he gave Charcadet a blank look on his face.

(Did you really think a trick like that, from a kid who doesn't know what he wants, would have any effect on me? Come back when you get your armor!) Carlo said to Charcadet, kicking Charcadet away, and towards Natalia.

(Tackle.) Plata said, as they rammed into Charcadet, making Charcadet hit the ground and not Natalia. (Owh! What was that for?) Charcadet asked Plata. "I only know Tackle and Iron Defense, not very useful against a ghost. The least I can do is make sure no one crashes into Natalia.

(Will you two focus! Diaz, can you give me some cover fire?) Miles said to Charcadet and Plata, and asked Diaz. "So long as you use Dragon Rush." Diaz said to Miles, as he fired electric bolts at Carlo. (That was the plan.) Miles said, as his body became encased in purple energy, with wings and a dragon head formed the energy around his head and the back of front legs. Then Miles lunged at Carlo, right behind the eclectic bolts.

However Carlo was unfazed, and slammed his right foot into the ground, making the electricity pass through him and into the ground, making him only feel a tingle. (Flame Charge.) Carlo said, as he encased himself in purple flames, right before Miles reached him. When the two attacks collided, it caused a massive explosion that sent Miles flying back towards the others.

(Explosions may be destructive, but when you have Flash Fire, they're just a way to look cool. Now then, who's next to try and one up me, only to fall flat on their face?) Carlo asked everyone, as he walked out of the flames of the explosion and got into a fighting stance.

It was at this point Luke finally got up, and noticed the battle wasn't going so well. Luke then noticed Asch had his back to the battle and had an idea. Luke then rushed Asch thinking if he took out Asch, it would stop Ceruledge.

But Asch was ready for someone rushing him, he turned around in an instance and blocked Luke's attack. While clashing swords Luke got a good look at Asch's face and was surprised to see he had the exact same face as himself.

"It's you." Asch said, as he forced Luke back. This caused everyone to stop fighting and turned to see Luke and Asch, as well as noticed Asch's face. "Okay this is creepy." Diaz said to everyone.

(Creepy and weird. But we are still in trouble.) Kansan said to everyone. "Yes, but I don't have a form that works here. Not to mention that Carlo is crazy adaptable to whatever we throw at him." Diaz said to Kansan. (Diaz, maybe you should try that new key you got from Diaz. we don't know what it can do. It might be a game changer.) Miles said to Diaz.

"Well it's not like we have any better idea." Diaz said, as he put the Ignition Key into the slot, with the sky blue side facing him. "FLYING!" A techno voice said from the belt.

Diaz then hit the button This caused the handle to pop out of the slot, minus the crystal, and made the tire spin clockwise, with the tire glowing sky blue. This made Miles' tire sack glow sky blue, and a giant sky blue crystal tire popped out of Miles' throat.

The tire headed straight for Diaz. "TERASTALLIZING!" Diaz yelled, as the tire hit him and caused the tire to fall apart. This let out a sky blue pulse of energy, and the crystals attached to Diaz's body.

"A TRIPLE HEADED TEAROR OF THE SKY, WHO CAN TURN THE VERY AIR INTO HIS FURRY. TREMBLE BEFORE THE BRUTALITY OF IRON JUGULIS!" A techno voice said, from the belt, as all the crystals broke apart, revealing Diaz in new armor.

He still had this violet jumpsuit on, but a thin layer of black armor that went down his chest, over his shoulders, and down his arms, his hands were covered in dark blue metal gloves with red eyes on the side of the knuckles, his lower legs were covered in thin dark blue armor boots, with a small but wide thick heel on the boots, an one the side of the chest armor was two dark pink glowing lines, on his back was six pieces of black metal formed in two lines of three under his shoulders, with the black metal being about to bend in three different parts, the ability to rotate at the spot where it connected to the armor and each piece of black metal had a nozzle on the end of it, his helmet was dark blue with with a dragon head on the upper part of the helmet and digital red lights for eyes, and on the back of his helmet and of his hands were spiky black frills with the frills facing his head and hands glowing dark pink.

Diaz lost his blaster. But attached to his right armor was a black machine gun like machine, with the handle sticking out at the sport Diaz right hand was, past that handle was a black handle bar, the back of the machine gun had seven opening around Diaz's elbow, the back of the weapon had lines that spit it into seven parts, and the barrel was three dragon heads with 3 spouts in each head, and a black sun around the head with it being pushed more towards the the heads and side facing the heads being dark pink.

Diaz then looked at himself, as Carlo gave him a mean look. "Okay, so Iron Jugulis is based off a Hydreigon, that explains the look. But what even is this thing? It looks like a triple headed turret." Diaz said, looking at his triple headed turret.

(Who cares, just use it.) Miles said to Diaz. "That would be reckless, I don't know what this thing could do. It could kill someone." Diaz said to Miles. "Are you seriously holding yourself back by trying not to kill? If we're going to save Ion, you need to start taking this seriously." Anise said to Diaz.

"Just because it's convenient to kill our enemy to get what we want, doesn't it make it right. And I am taking this seriously. But I won't trade my beliefs just to make up for the fact that you're terrible at your one job." Diaz said to Anise, making Anise look away from Diaz with a huff.

(I can see why my master's lord is so interested in him. But I need to stop him before he decides to use his weapon! Bitter Blade!) Carlo said, as his blades became encased in purple flames, and he charged at Diaz.

"WHOA!" Diaz said, as he noticed Carlo charging at him, and he pressed the button on the handle. This caused the holes in the back of the triple headed turret to start to suck in air with a powerful suction, sucking in mud from the ground and the rain falling from the sky. Soone a furry of air, mud, and water came shooting out of the three heads, hitting Carlo and sending him flying, plus dealing some decent damage to Carlo.

Diaz then let go of the button and it stopped. "So that's what my belt ment when it said turn the very air into his furry. This thing is a vacuum that sucks in the air and anything else around it and turns it into ammo. On a normal person this could be dangerous, but against armor knights, this will just ring a few bells. But it'll be enough to take them down without killing them." Diaz said, as he looked at his weapon before pointing it at everyone, his left hand holding the extra handle, helping him keep it stable.

"Get him!" Asch said to the Oracle Knights, as he and all the Oracle Knights. Minus the ones holding Ion charged at Diaz.

"Miles get Luke out of my way!" Diaz said to Miles. (On it.) Miles said to Diaz, as he rushed up to Luke, bit into Luke's leg right, and pulled on it, making Luke fall face first into the mud, before dragging Luke out of the way.

"Now then it's time to show you all why Hydreigon is the Brutal Pokemon." Diaz said, as he pressed the button, and started to fire a furry of air, mud, and water at Asch, Carlo, and the Oracle Knights, taking out a good number of them, before they got down trying to avoid getting hit.

"Use the defeated as shields." Asch said to everyone, as he pulled up a knocked out Oracle Knight and used him as a shield for Diaz's attacks. Many of the Oracle knights followed Asch led, and used their knocked out comrades as shields, and they slowly walked towards Diaz.

(Resourceful. But that's not going to work if he uses his finisher.) Carlo said to Asch, as he stayed down, and rammed his legs into the ground, like he was anchoring himself.

With Diaz, he was getting frustrated by Asch's strategy. "Using your allies as shields. You really have no care for others. But what do I expect from someone called the Bloody. It's time I make you pay for what you did on the Tartarus." Diaz said, as he stopped pressing the button, and started to spin his tire with his left hand.

This caused the back of his weapon to open up, revealing a dark pink inside, with the holes on the side being covered by the metal moving. Then the heads at the end of the barrel turned their heads to the side forming a triangle.

"EAT THIS!" Diaz said to Asch, as he grabbed the extra handle, and pressed the button. That's when the weapons barrel started to spin at high speed, as a very large amount of air, water, and mud into the weapon, then a tornado of whid, water, and mud came bursting out of his weapon, with the bottom tip of tornado coming out of the three heads.

The tornado not only had enough force to stop Asch and the Oracle Knights, but was to send them flying into their landship. All of them groaned in pain as they fell to the ground, too hurt to get up. But that's also when Miles let go of Luke, and Luke got up.

"All right! Hand over Ion!" Diaz said to the Oracle knights holding Ion, pointing his triple headed turret at them. "Pa…the…tic." A deep male voice said, getting everyone's attention.

That's when everyone turned their heads to see a man that looked exactly like Diaz walking out of the Landship, the only difference was he was wearing the same outfit as Asch, but he had Dark orange instead of red on it. And next to was a Cyclizar, but with its normal color, and had a leather saddle on his back with horse reins in his mouth.

"What the?! Who are you?!" Diaz asked the man. "Me… me." The man said to Diaz, pulling out the Scarlet Driver, but this time with all six Ignition Keys in the holster, with each Ignition Keys looking like they were made out of bones with each bone attached to a stone handguard.

"That belt. It's the one Arietta took from me." Diaz said, as the man put on the belt. (Don't worry Diaz, remember what it did to Arietta, hopefully the same thing happens with him.) Miles said to Diaz. (He… no… Ari… etta.) Cyclizar said to Miles, with a male voice. confusing Miles, as the man spun the tire counter clockwise, making a giant scarlet crystal tire pop out of Cyclizar's tire throat.

"IT CAN'T BE!" Diaz said, as the tire rolled around the man. "TE… RA… STALL… I… ZING!" The man said, as the scarlet tire turned to him, and hit him, causing the tire to fall apart. This let out a scarlet pulse of energy, and the crystals attached to his body.

"FROM THE ABYSS OF THE SAVAGE PAST, COMES A BEAST, WHO'S STRENGTH WILL CRUSH ALL THAT GETS IN IT'S WAY. BOW BEFORE THE SCARLET ALPHA. ABYSS RIDER, SCARLET BEAST!" An aggressive voice said from his belt, as the crystals broke apart, revealing the man in some kind of freaky scarlet armor.

His body had some kind of scarlet jumpsuit on, with scarlet leather armor over it, the scarlet armor had white war pain-like marks on it, his chest was covered in black armor with a few small spikes on it, three spikes on the sides of his legs pointing to his back at an angle, a black leather tail with the end half being red, with a plume over his tail, with the feathers in the plume blue feather a pink line in the middle of the feathers and the feathers ended white, claw-like fingers, his shoulders had two covered blue spikes that looked like hand bars, his head was covered in a scarlet helmet, with two yellow glass eyes, the back of it looked like a folded vision of the plume he had on his tail, two long pieces of fabric that looked like the fathers starting right above his eyes and went to the back of his neck.

And in his right hand was a bone with a stone handguard, and had a small black stone that was tire shaped. "Me… Scar…let… Beast." The man, now Scarlet, said to Diaz, as he got ready for battle. (Looks like things are about to get interesting. Better to sit this out and see how this plays out.) Carlo said, as he got up and moved closer to Asch.

"Everyone stay back! We don't know what he can do! But I'm best equipped to deal with him." Diaz said to everyone. "No… You… no." Scarlet said to Diaz. "I think you mean, "No you're not", but I am. Now eat this!" Diaz said to Scarlet, as he pressed the button and started firing air, water, and mud at Scarlet.

But Scarlet got on Cyclizar, and Cyclizar started to run, dodging the attacks. "Miles use Dragon Rush to hit them, stall them, or stop them, I don't care which!" Diaz said to Miles, as he stopped shooting for a few seconds. (Okay.) Miles said, as his body became encased in purple energy, with wings and a dragon head formed the energy around his head and the back of front legs. Then Miles lunged at Scarlet and Cyclizar.

"Jump." Scarlet said to Cyclizar. Cyclizar then jumped up, right as Miles reached him, making Miles miss, and crash into the ground, right below Cyclizar. (I… ron… Ta… il.) Cyclizar said, as his tail glowed silver, and as he fell down on Miles. Cyclizar then slammed his tail into Miles' head, before moving again.

"Just what are these two?" Diaz asked, as he got back to shooting Scarlet and Miles. But then Scarlet jumped off Cyclizar, going backwards. (Po… wer… Wh… ip.) Cyclizar said, as his tail glowed green and grew. Scarlet then grabbed Cyclizar's tail and was whipped towards Diaz, feet first.

But even with Diaz hitting Scarlet, Scarlet's momentum couldn't be stopped by the fury of air, water and mud. Then Scarlet spun the tire on his belt counter clockwise, making his right foot glowed scarlet. Scarlet then reached Diaz, and kicked him in the chest, forcing Diaz back a bit before he exploded sending him flying back even more.

But before Diaz could crash into the ground, the black pieces of metal on his back and the heels on his boots started to let out a burst of wind, making Diaz float in the air. 'Cool, this armor has thrusters, making me hover. With this I can avoid him. I can't take another attack like that.' Diaz thought, before he started to move around while hovering, all the while shooting at Scarlet.

Scarlet tried to move closer, but Diaz was moving too fast thanks to his hovering. While using his right hand to block shots going for his head, he used his left hand to open a slot on the left side of the tire on his belt before pulling out an Ignition Key, with one side of the crystal being pink with a symbol Psychic, and the other side was light pink with a symbol of Fairy, with one of the key looking like half an eye, and the other side looked like butterfly wings.

Scarlet put the Ignition Key into the slot with the pink side facing him. "PSYCHIC!" An aggressive voice said from his belt, as Scarlet ripped it out of the slot with enough force to not only break the crystal off it, but making the tire on his belt spin counter clockwise, and glowed pink.

This made Cyclizar's tire sack glow pink, and a giant pink crystal tire popped out of Cyclizar's throat. "TE… RA… STALL… I… ZING!" The man said, as the pink tire turned to him, and hit him, causing the tire to fall apart. This let out a pink pulse of energy, and the crystals attached to his body.

"IN THE SAVAGE JUNGLE, EVEN THE CUTEST THING CAN MAKE YOU SCREAM IN TERROR BEFORE IT KILLS YOU. YOU CAN RUN, BUT IT'S TOO LATE, IT'S HERE, SCREAM TAIL!" An aggressive voice said from his belt, as the crystals broke apart, revealing Scarlet in a new armor.

His body still had the scarlet jumpsuit on, but all over his body was very fluffy light pink fur strapped to his body with thick pink leather straps like they were plate armor, his helmet was now pink but still had the two yellow glass eyes, and on the top of the helmet was a dark pink pony tail that went down to the base of his neck. And the only weapon he had in his left hand was the bone with a stone handguard, and a pink leather whip that was wrapped around the upper part of the stone handguard.

"That kinda looks like Liran." Anise said to everyone. (Of course not. I'm cutter.) Liran said to Anise, giving Anise a mean look.

'That belt couldn't be talking about this. It's so simple and silly. How could something like that be any kind of danger? I mean that whip could hurt, but if I keep my distance I should be fine.' Diaz thought, as Scarlet started to spin his tire counter clockwise.

This made his ponytail glow pink and it suddenly grew and headed straight for Diaz. "Whoa!" Diaz said, as he moved to the right to dodged the attack. And he did. He hovered out of the way of the ponytail at the last second.

But that's when the ponytail suddenly turned right and went down, grabbing Diaz's left leg. "Now I can see how this is DANGEROUS!" Diaz said, before screaming, as he was whipped into the air. Then Diaz was slammed into the ground before getting whipped back into the air, and getting slammed into the ground again.

This happened for a few seconds, before the ponytail let go of him, leaving a hurt Diaz laying on the ground, with Diaz back in his Iron Violet form. As the ponytail shrunk down to its normal size, Scarlet looked at everyone, and saw they were ready for him. To respond to this, Scarlet pulled out another Ignition Key.

One side was black with a symbol of Dark on it, and the other side was green with a symbol of Grass on it, with one edge of the key looking like a wicked smile, and the other side looking like it was a field of grass.

Scarlet then put the Ignition Key into the slot with the black side facing him. "DARK!" An aggressive voice said from his belt, as Scarlet ripped it out of the slot with enough force to not only break the crystal off it, but making the tire on his belt spin counter clockwise, and glowed black.

This made Cyclizar's tire sack glow black, and a giant black crystal tire popped out of Cyclizar's throat. "TE… RA… STALL… I… ZING!" The man said, as the dark tire turned to him, and hit him, causing the tire to fall apart. This let out a dark pulse of energy, and the crystals attached to his body.

"IN THE ANCIENT PAST, EVEN THE PLANTS MUST FIGHT FOR SURVIVAL. BUT CAN YOU SURVIVE THE AGGRESSION OF BRUTE BONNET!" An aggressive voice said from his belt, as the crystals broke apart, revealing Scarlet in a new armor.

His body still had the scarlet jumpsuit on, he had black armor boots and legs that were made out of wood, his chest and arms where covered in white armor that were made out of wood, his helmet was white with a pink jawline, with the left eye being yellow glass and the right eye being white, and on the top of the helmet was a wide bamboo hat with six spikes on top of it forming a circle, hanging from the side of the hat was green spiky moss that went from his right eye all the way to just before his left eye, the inside of the hat was black and the top of the hat looked like a Pokeball.

In his hands, he had the bones in his hands with the stone handguards facing forward and hard moss growing from the stone handguard that grew into 1 foot wide half circles with most of it black, but had Pokeball symbols on the front.

"Do those symbols on his armor look like Diaz's Pokeballs to anyone else?" Whina asked everyone, as Scarlet and Cyclizar charged at everyone. (We have to stop them. Confusion.) Jataayu said, as his eyes glowed teal, and a teal outline appeared on Scarlet and Cyclizar.

And while Cyclizar was still frozen by the teal outline, Scarlet broke the outline a second after he got it, and then rushed Jataayu, bashing his weapons into Jataayu like they were bumpers, sending Jataayu flying away. This freed Cyclizar, and charged at everyone.

(Okay, let's try this Spin Out.) Kansan said, as his wheels turned silver, and he spun in a circle, moving towards Scarlet and Cyclizar. But Scarlet then got on his knees and planted his weapons into the ground, then bowed his head, planting his hat right behind his weapons. This formed a bumper that when Kansan hit it, it caused him to spin out of control and go off into the distance.

Then he got up, and everyone looked at him with serious looks on their faces. "Attack him from all sides, he can't block all of us!" Luke said to everyone, as they charged at Scarlet and Cyclizar. (Tackle!) Plata said, as they charged. (Rock Smash.) Babila said, as she charged, with her hammer glowing white.

(I… ron… Ta… il.) Cyclizar said, as his tail glowed silver. Then Cyclizar started to swipe his tail at everyone, as Scarlet used his bummers to block everyone's attack, setting them up for Cyclizar to send them flying.

After a few seconds of this, Scarlet and Cyclizar forced everyone away from them. Seeing that a head on clash with this form was useless, Jade then got ready to cast a lighting spell. Scarlet noticed this, and spun his tire counter clockwise.

This made his head glow green and spin, with Cyclizar getting under it. That's when the lighting came down. But the hat withstood the attack like it was nothing. Then the hat stopped back into its normal position.

Everyone looked at him. "What's it going to take to stop him?" Luke asked everyone. "Let's try using our Tera Orbs. they'll power up our partners' attacks. That might be enough." Anise said to everyone. "Worth a shot." Guy said, as everyone pulled out their Tera Orbs and Terastallized their Pokemon, with Jade Terastallizing Susu 3.

The sight of this surprised Natalia, Qadira, Plata and Babila. "What just happened? And how can we do something like that?" Natalia asked everyone, getting really excited. "It's called Terastallize, and we can do it thanks to our Tera Orb, which Diaz will give you." Whina said to Natalia. "If we all survive this." Jade said to everyone.

"So what do you think of this? Think you can handle us now?" Luke asked Scarlet, taunting Scarlet. "Yes…" Scarlet said, as he pulled out another Ignition Key.

One side was sickly green with a symbol of Bug on it, and the other side brown and had a symbol of a Fighting on it, with one edge of the key looked like a spider web, and the other edge looked like a fist.

Scarlet put the Ignition Key into the slot with the sickly green side facing him. "BUG!" An aggressive voice said from his belt, as Scarlet ripped it out of the slot with enough force to not only break the crystal off it, but making the tire on his belt spin counter clockwise, and glowed sickly green.

This made Cyclizar's tire sack glow black, and a giant sickly green crystal tire popped out of Cyclizar's throat. "TE… RA… STALL… I… ZING!" The man said, as the sickly green tire turned to him, and hit him, causing the tire to fall apart. This let out a sickly green pulse of energy, and the crystals attached to his body. That's also when all the Pokemon that was Terastallized became encased in crystals.

"SLITHERING ON THE FLOOR OF THE JUNGLE, LIES A GREAT WARRIOR, WHOSE WINGS ARE THAT OF THE RISING SUN. WITNESS THE RISE OF SLITHER WING!" An aggressive voice said from his belt, as the crystals broke apart, revealing Scarlet in a new armor.

And all the Terastallized Pokemon's crystal coats and hats had changed. Now all the Terastallized Pokemon's crystal coats were now sickly green and their hats were now a flower with a set of tiny clear wings and two very long antennae that curled at the end.

For Scarlet, His body still had the scarlet jumpsuit on, and all over his body was thick white fur, almost like he was an ape, his feet were covered in black stones, his helmet was now black with but was back to having two yellow glass eyes, two curved horns that covered the side of his helmet with two spikes that are positioned above and under his eyes and the horns sticking a little above his head.

And in his left hand were just one bone attached to a stone handguard, with the stone handguard jammed into a wooden stick, with a rock acting like a bolt to keep it in, and in the end of the stick was three spiky red stones that were laid out like a sun, and tied with a few thick red string that secure it in place.

"It would seem that it doesn't matter if we're friend or foe, that trick will change our Pokemon's Tera type." Jade said to everyone. "That would have been helpful a minute ago!" Luke said to everyone. "Can any of you work with this?" Guy asked the Pokemon.

(Susu 3 and Lokej can work with this but not the rest of us.) Charcadet said to everyone. (we really need to figure out how Tera Blast works.) Liran said to everyone. "They said only Susu 3 and Lokej are good. And they wish they knew Tera Blast." Mieu said to everyone.

Then Scarlet charged at Charcadet. "Charcadet, quick use Ember." Luke said to Charcadet. (Was going to do that anyway.) Charcadet said to Luke, as he fired a burst of fire at Scarlet. But Scarlet used his ax to block the fire, surprising Charcadet.

Then Scarlet reached Charcadet, swinging his ax at Charcadet, hitting Charcadet hard. So hard the Charcadet was sent flying, and his Terastallizing shattered. "Does he has the power to break Terastallizing?" Whina asked everyone.

(No, that was more like he had enough force to smash it.) Kansan said to everyone. "Kansan said no, he said he's just strong." Mieu said to everyone.

"Then let's take his weapon. Fie use Thief." Anise said to Fie. (Why do I feel like this will end badly for me.) Fie said, as he flew towards Scarlet. But as Fie reached Scarlet, Scarlet grabbed Fie, and forced him into the ground, breaking his Terastallizing. (I knew it.) Fie said, as he stayed on the ground.

"I suggest we try and deal some damage before he smashes all of our Terastallizion." Jade said to everyone. "Right. Liran use Disarming Voice." Tear saud to Liran. (I don't think that will stop him or slow him.) Liran said to Tear, as she fired a pink sonic pulse with pink hearts in it.

But Scarlet turned his ax to the flat side, and used it to block the soundwave. (See.) Lirna said to everyone. "Then Lokej, see if Fury Cutter could work." Guy said to Lokej. (I'll give it a try.) Lokej said to Guy, as he charged at Scarlet, as his leek glowed sickly green with his hat letting out a burst of sickly green sparkles.

But Scarlett used his ax to block Lokej's attack. (I… ron… Ta… il.) Cyclizar said, as his tail glowed silver. Then Cyclizar swiped his tail at Lokej, breaking Lokej's Terastallizion, and sending him flying into Liran, smashing her Terastallizion as well.

Then Scarlet charged at everyone. "Inesa, try stopping him with Round!" Whina said to Inesa. (If you say so.) Inesa said, as she let out a blue sonic pulse. But the pulse had little effect on Scarlet, and made Scarlet turn to her, before charging at her.

But Qadira then got in her way and locked weapons. But Scarlet was able to to break the lock, forcing Qadira's weapons up. Scarlet then tried to slam his ax into her gut. But Whina appeared in front of Qadira, and used her shield to block Scarlet's ax.

But Scarlet still had enough force in his swing to send Whina and Qadira flying into Inesa, breaking Inesa's Terastallizion.

"He's pretty strong. But let's see how he handles the small stuff. Susu 3 use Infestation, and Susu 1 and 2 help him with Infestation as well." Jade said to the Susu's. (We're on it.) The Susu's said, as they summoned a swarm of sickly green energy fleas, with Susu's 3's hat letting out a burst of sickly green sparkles.

The fleas got all over Scarlet, making him itchy. Fighting threw the itch, Scarlet spun the tire on his belt counter clockwise. This made his ax glow red. Scarlet then spun his ax around as he charged at Susu 3.

Then once Scarlet got close to Susu 3, he slammed his ax into the ground, letting out a burst of fire, bruning the fleas off him and breaking Susu 3's Terastallizion. Scarlet then pulled his ax out of the ground, and slowly started to walk towards everyone, with everyone on edge and panicking a little, wondering what they could do.

That's when Diaz and Miles finally got up. "Owh! That guy really knows how to pack a kick." Diaz said, as he rubbed his helmet. (Not to mention that Cyclizar is pretty quick as well.) Miles said to everyone, as he shook his head.

That's when they noticed Scarlet and Cyclizar fighting everyone else, with Scarlet and Cyclizar having an easy time tossing them around. (It seems the others can't handle them either.) Miles said to Diaz.

"We need to get him away from them." Diaz said, as he put out the Iron Tread Ignition Key and put it into the slot, with the silver side facing him. "STEEL!" A techno voice said from the belt. Diaz then hit the button This caused the handle to pop out of the slot, minus the crystal, and made the tire spin clockwise, with the tire glowing silver. This made Miles' tire sack glow silver, and a giant silver crystal tire popped out of Miles' throat.

The tire headed straight for Diaz. "TERASTALLIZING!" Diaz yelled, as the tire hit him and caused the tire to fall apart. This let out a sliver pulse of energy, and the crystals attached to Diaz's body. "IRON TREADS!" A techno voice said, as the crystal broke apart, revealing Diaz in his Iron Treads form.

Then Diaz hit the buttons on his heels with each other, and turned into his bike form. "Miles, follow me with Giga Impact." Diaz said to Miles, as he charged at Scarlet at high speed. (Right!) Miles said, as he let out a massive surge of white energy, and charged at Cyclizar.

Miles reached Cyclizar first and crashed into him, pinning Cyclizar under him. That's when Miles got a whiff of Cyclizar's scent, and it surprised him. (Who are you? Why is your scent the same as mine, and how come you can't speak like the rest of us? Even 3 minute old hatchlings can say a word as simple as tail without having a hard time.) Miles said to Cyclizar.

(Me… me.) Cyclizar said to Miles. (That is no help.) Miles said to Cyclizar, before a shadow was cast over him. Miles looked up to see Scarlet standing over him, Scarlet's ax raised into air.

That's when Diaz hit Scarlet in the side, and he would have run over Scarlet, but Scarlet used his right hand to gabbed Diaz's head, keeping him from being run over, but Diaz just kept moving, plowing small trenches out of the ground, with Scarlet being his plow. All the while Scarlet was swinging his ax into Diaz's back.

But during one of the swings, Scarlet's ax hooked onto Diaz's handles, and pulled them back towards Diaz's head. This caused the metal wheels to turn back into armor, leaving Scarlet in thetreach Diaz was making, and sending Diaz flying a bit from the momentum, and making Diaz crash into the ground.

"Well, at least now I know how to turn off the bike mode." Diaz said, as he and Scarlet got up. The two of them turned to each other, got into a fighting stance, and their helmets were covering their serious look.

Then the two of them charged at each other. When they met in the middle, Scarlet brought down his ax on Diaz, but Diaz blocked it with his right shield. Then Diaz tried to slam his left shield into Scarlet, but Scarlet caught it with his right hand.

But Diaz turned on that shield's rim spin, scraping Scarlet's hand, and forcing Scarlet to let go. This let Diaz get a punch in, stunning Scarlet, and making Scarlet take a couple steps back. Then Diaz started to do multiple punches into Scarlet, keeping Scarlet from raising his defenses, but keeping at least one shield next to him.

Diaz then did a double uppercut, hitting Scarlet in the jaw, knocking Scarlet back a bit and onto his side. Scarlet then reached for an Ignition Key, but then he noticed Cyclizar was still under Miles, with Miles stomping his front legs into Cyclizar's head, keeping Cyclizar pind under him. This made Scarlet huff, before getting up and getting back to fighting Diaz.

(Guess he can't change, while you're pinned under me.) Miles said to Cyclizar, not paying attention to Cyclizar, and watching the battle. (Po… wer… Wh… ip.) Cyclizar said, quietly, as his tail glowed green and grew. Cyclizar's tail then moved around to Miles' handlebars and wrapped around it. Then with a flick, the Power Whip sent Miles flying a little bit, getting Miles off Cyclizar.

Once Scarlet noticed this and spun his tire. "Two can play that game." Diaz said to Scarlet, as he spun his tire. And as Scarlet's ax glow red, the rims on Diaz's shields started to spin at high speed, at the same time the dark silver armor on him detached and formed their wheel shapes. Then the wheel lined up with the rims of the shields and started to spin at high speed.

Then Scarlet and Diaz charged at each other. But Diaz's wheels were large enough to strike first. This forced Scarlet to use his ax to block the attack, but once Diaz's wheels hit his ax, it caused the ax to let out a burst of fire, sending Scarlet flying back a little and onto his back.

"Looks like my finisher is different based on whether or not I'm in bike mode." Diaz said, thinking out loud, as the wheels turned back into armor and attached to him. That's when Diaz noticed Scarlet getting up.

"Nice try, but I'm still standing." Diaz said to Scarlet. "No… wh… at… me…. wa… nt." Scarlet said to Diaz. "I think you mean. "Not what I want". Wait? If finishing me wasn't the plan. Then what was the plan?" Diaz asked Scarlet.

That's when Scarlet pointed at the distance between them. "You wanted some distance between us." Diaz said to Scarlet, with a surprise tune in his voice.

"Yes." Scarlet said, as he pulled out another Ignition Key. One side was light brown with a symbol of ground on it, and the other side was brown and had a symbol of a Fighting on it, with one edge of the key looked like a couple layers of the earth, and the other edge looked like a fist.

Scarlet put the Ignition Key into the slot with the light brown side facing him. "GROUND!" An aggressive voice said from his belt, as Scarlet ripped it out of the slot with enough force to not only break the crystal off it, but making the tire on his belt spin counter clockwise, and glowed light brown.

This made Cyclizar's tire sack glow black, and a giant light brown crystal tire popped out of Cyclizar's throat. "TE… RA… STALL… I… ZING!" The man said, as the light brown tire turned to him, and hit him, causing the tire to fall apart. This let out a light brown pulse of energy, and the crystals attached to his body.

"IN THE DESERT LIES A MIGHTY BEAST, WHO FOOTSTEPS CAN CAUSE SANDSTORMS, WHO CAN LEVEL MOUNTAINS WITH EASY. HE IS, GREAT TUSK!" An aggressive voice said from his belt, as the crystals broke apart, revealing Scarlet in a new armor.

His body still had the scarlet jumpsuit on, and all over his body was thick dark grey leather armor, with bumps in it, he had a couple pink stone spikes on his chest, upper arm, his feet were covered in pink stones, his helmet was now grey with the front benign light gray and the back being dark grey, still having the yellow glass eyes, but with a red outline, on the back of his helmet was two rows of three pink spikes, with the spikes in the middle of the row being bigger.

And in both his hands were bone attached to a stone handguard that was more like stone knuckles. The reason, tied to his wrist, was two massive tusks that curved into a circle around Scarlet's hands.

"Well this is interesting. An armor based on a futuristic Donphan vs an armor based on a prehistoric Donphan. I guess we'll figure out which era is better." Diaz said to Scarlet, as they both got into a fighting stance. "Is… me." Scarlet said to Diaz. "I think you mean "it's me". But we'll see about that!" Diaz said to Scarlet, as they charged at each other again.

When they clash in the middle, it became a slug fest, both sides block attacks with their weapons, jamming their weapons into each other, even forcing each other back a couple steps, only to come at each other with a furry before the other could gain any ground. The slug fest was so rough that if it wasn't for their armor, they would have broken bones and bruises.

The slugfest only stopped because during the fight, Scarlet accidently hooked his tusk into the curved spikes on Diaz's shield. This gave Scarlet an idea. Scarlet then jerked to the side, as he started to turn. A second later, Scarlet started to spin, with Diaz still hooked, and feeling like his shoulders were getting pulled out of their sockets.

Scarlet then swung DIaz up, sending Diaz flying into the air, and breaking Diaz free of the hook. Not that Diaz was happy that once he got free, he was going in the air, as he was screaming a little from all this.

Then as Diaz started to fall down towards Scarlet, Scarlet spun his tire, making his tusk glow light brown. Then as Diaz was right in front of him, he brought his tusk down on Diaz's back, forcing Diaz into the ground, before causing a small explosion, and also causing a small earthquake that was strong enough to knock everyone, minus the one that flew, off their feet and onto the ground.

That's when Scarlet raised his tucks and looked at Diaz, who was groaning in pain a little as he de-transformed back into his normal form, and Scarlet could see Diaz had a long shallow cut on his head, making blood drop down his face.

"Me… be… tter… you." Scarlet said to Diaz, as he spun his tire again, and his tusk glowed light brown. Scarlet then raised his tusk into the air, ready to finish Diaz. (DIAZ!) Miles said, as got up and he rushed Scarlet.

(A… qua… Ta… il.) Cyclizar said, as his tail became encased in water, and he smacked Miles in the side of Miles' head, knocking him down. Then before Miles could get up, Cyclizar planted his front legs on his head, pinning him this time. Scarlet then roared, as he brought his tusk down. (DDDIIIIIIIIAAAAAZZZZ!) Miles roared in worry.

"What's going on around here!" Sync asked, as he showed up, making Scarlet stop before he could finish Diaz. "Me… fig… ting." Scarlet said to Sync, as his tusk stopped glowing light brown.

"You brainless fool. Ion takes priority right now!" Sync said to Scarlet, as he walked up to Scarlet. "Me… no… care." Scarlet said to Sync. This made Sync pull out a riding crop and smacked Scarlet in the head with it.

"Don't talk back to me. Now get on the ship to be left behind. Sync said to everyone, before he forced Ion into the landship, with the Oracle knights limping into the landship. (He's right. We need to go.) Carlo said to everyone, as he got on the ship.

Luke, Diaz, Miles Asch, Scarlet, and Cyclizar gave each other looks before Asch, Scarlet, and Cyclizar got on the landship. With Luke, Diaz, and Miles' look that of confusion, and Asch, Scarlet, and Cyclizar's look was that of annoyance. Once Asch, Scarlet, and Cyclizar were onboard the landship, it started to move.

"He… He looks like me." Luke said, as everyone got up. "Not to mention that new guys look just like me. And packs a painful punch." Diaz said to Luke. (Not to mention that Cyclizar smelled just like me.) Miles said to everyone.

"What does this mean?" Natalia asked everyone. "No clue, all we do know is that the God-Generals now have their own Abyss Rider, and one that's wild and strong. We should count ourselves lucky that he didn't think we were worth the time to kill." Whina said to everyone.

"Not to mention, they took Ion and left." Jade said to everyone. "Aaah! I let them get away!" Anise said to everyone. "That was probably a smart move. After what just happened, I think if you went after them, it would end with your end." Qadira said to Anise.

"Regardless, we've now encountered the Six, no Seven God-Generals. The decoy is a failure." Jade said to everyone. "Wouldn't we be better off returning to Baticul and going by ship?" Guy asked Jade. "It would be a waste of time." Natalia said to Guy.

"Why?" Luke asked everyone, with a defeated tune in his voice. "Father still doesn't trust Malkuth. He'll have sealed the port against invasion, once he dispatched the decoy." Natalia said to everyone. "That's crazy. It's like he's readying for war even after he agreed to Malkuth's peace treaty." Diaz said to everyone.

"If the port isn't an option. Let's go by land and search for Ion. If Ion were to die, it could affect this entire peace effort." Tear said to everyone. "That's right! Please, search for Ion! Even if it's while you're doing something else. Please!" Anise asked Luke.

"It's your decision, Luke. Will we search for Ion as we go by land? Or will we turn over Natalia to His Majesty and have him unseal the port?" Jade asked Luke. "You can't do that! Luke! You KNOW what I mean!" Natalia said to Luke.

"Gaaah, everyone, shut up! Why am I the one deciding, anyway?" Luke asked everyone. "Well, you're the one in charge, aren't you?" Jade said to everyone. "Gaah!" Luke said, getting really frustrated.

"Jade, Akzeriuth is that way right?" Diaz asked Jade, pointing in the direction the God-General landship went. "Yes. But that also leads to the desert." Jade said to Diaz. "Any places in the desert they would make a stop?" Diaz asked Jade. "The oasis maybe." Jade said to Diaz.

"Then we all head that way. Hopefully we can catch up to the God-General at the oasis, or find out where they're going." Diaz said to everyone. "But what if we don't catch up with them or find out where they're going. We could lose Ion." Anise said to Diaz.

"I'm afraid we'll have to risk it. But I think we can safely say that they won't kill Ion right away." Diaz said to everyone. "What makes you think that?" Guy asked Diaz.

"Well if they just wanted to kill him in order to stop his peace effort, then they could have killed him and all of us on the Tartarus, instead they took it and captured Ion. Then they took Ion off the ship for a bit to do something before returning to the ship. So it's safe to say they need him for something. Until his usefulness runs out he's safe. But who knows how long that will last." Diaz said to everyone.

"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go after them?!" Anise asked everyone. "What say you Luke, after all you're the chosen man, destined to lead this mission after all?" Diaz asked Luke, with an annoyed tune in his voice, upset that he had to ask Luke for permission.

"Sure. Fine. Whatever. Let's just go!" Luke said to Diaz, with a mean and careless tune in hive voice. "So glad you agree." Diaz said to Luke, with a less than enthusiastic tune in his voice.

"You heard him folks, let's start walking, we have a lot of ground to cover if we want to save Ion." Diaz said to everyone, with everyone nodding in agreement. "But before that, let me treat that wound of yours." Whina said to Diaz.

"It's just a scratch. I'll be fine. No need to worry." Daiz said to Whina. "Big or small, shallow or deep, and scratch is still a scratch. And it could lead to problems later. Wo hold still." Whina said to Diaz, as she grabbed his face, and tried to heal the wound, only for Diaz to resist and get out of Whina's grip.

"I told you I'm fine." Diaz said to Whina. "I'll just take a second. Just hold still." Whina said to Diaz, as she got closer to Diaz, only for Diaz to take a step back in response. "It's fine Whina. Just leave it." Diaz said to Whina. "I will not." Whina said to Diaz.

That's when Miles got behind Diaz and stopped him from running, letting Whina catch him. (Just do as she said Diaz. You could use the heals after that fight.) Miles said to Diaz.

"Miles you traitor." Diaz said to Miles, as Whian healed him. "See, was that so bad? Now I just need to clean up that blood." Whina said to Diaz, with a smirk on her face, before pulling out a handkerchief, and trying to clean the blood off Diaz, only for Diaz to take the handkerchief himself.

"I can do that myself." Diaz said to Whina, as he held the handkerchief to his head. "But thanks." Diaz said to Whina, as he started to clean the blood off him. "You're welcome." Whina said to Diaz, as Diaz finished wiping the blood off himself.

"If you two are done. We should get a move on. Every second we waste is another second Ion gets further away from us." Jade said to Diaz and Whina. "Oh, right." Diaz said to everyone, studding the handkerchief in his pocket, before they started to walk.

'That guy who looked like me. They called him "Asch". Man that was creepy.' Luke thought to himself as everyone started to walk towards the oasis.

TWISTED REALM.

Meanwhile in the Twisted Realm, The cloak figure was laughing in enjoyment, as Eshu had a worried look on his face.

"Master, shouldn't we be worried about this? I mean, you made the Scarlet and Violet Drivers with the intention that Diaz Garcia would switch between the Drivers. And overtime, when he got used to both of them, they would fuse and turn Diaz into Abyss Rider Iron Beast: Perfect Paradox. And to get the Scarlet Driver back, you had Alfonso send his newest student Carlo to get it back and spy on them." Eshu asked the cloak figure.

"That I did. But I find this more interesting, two Riders. One the savage past, the other the techno future. Two forces that shouldn't meet, now face each other as men on the opposing side of the battlefield. I wonder who will win, will the savage past over take the future, or will the techno future bury the past and leave it behind. I can't wait to see." The cloak figure said to Eshu.

"But Master, you did all of this to save the people of Auldrant from Yulia's Sin and to try and stop the plans of those that inherited Yulia's Curse." Eshu said to the cloak figure.

"That I did. But remember that these fools are so clingy to Yulia's Score that they refuse to see it for what it truly is, her greatest sin, nor do they see the price they will pay by following it lies. And he's so upset that he must suffer Yulia's Curse by simply being of her bloodline that he'll gladly destroy the world if it will get rid of her sins. The only way out of these doom fates, is the path the Abyss Rider will make. But like all things, it will be up to the people of Auldrant to make the choice to walk that path, if they don't, their fates are sealed." The cloak figure said to Eshu.

"And at the moment it looks like Yulia's Curse will win this little game of fate. Especially with the Scarlet Beast on their side." Eshu said to the cloak figure, as he put a scarlet painted version of Diaz on the board.

"For now. But the game isn't over yet. And soon the second to last event of Yulia's Sin will happen, and when that happens, we'll truly see who's truly ahead in this game. Me, Arceus, or him." The cloak figure said to Eshu, as he focused on a part of the board labeled Akzeriuth.

Oh and for the record, before you pick on me for grammar and spelling, know that Scarlet and his Cyclizar are meant to talk like that. The idea is, they have no education and are under-developed mentally (Like a caveman), but taught themselves to speak by listening, and over time it will get a little better, in other words his speech will be a little better next time.
