Chapter 21 – Sagittarius Scavenger Hunt

Amitie's POV

It's been a full day since we managed to escape from the collapsing Rebeat Resort. Those who suffered more serious injuries were treated thanks to Compa's nursing skills. They surprisingly worked to the point where I almost didn't hurt. It was THAT effective.

Unfortunately, though…it didn't really clean my clothes. As they were soaked with blood and nearly torn to pieces. So, I had to change out of them. Luckily, Neptune's letting me borrow some clothes that she never wore. Being a baggy white short-sleeved sweater with a black design on the front and a black & white checkered mini-skirt.

The outfit's kinda cute, honestly. Weird how Neptune never wore it.

Come to think of it…I don't think she wears any pants underneath that jacket of hers. Pretty bold of her.

Speaking of Neptune…she collapsed from exhaustion once we arrived at the Basilicom. And she's still knocked out cold right now. I guess that new power of hers really took some life force out of her.

Still though…I never would've thought Neptune would be able to use the Zodiac Stones like that. CREATING a new Zodiac power? That's like something only a god could do.

Well…she did tell me that she is like a goddess. So, I guess it makes some sense. Kinda.

Right now, I was just lounging around the main area of the Basilicom with a few of the others. Still recovering from the injuries I got while messing with my phone mainly out of boredom. But to also see if I can contact anyone back in Primp.

*MESSAGE NOT SENT*

*MESSAGE NOT SENT*

I knew it was a bit of a stretch. But I had to at least try.

"*sigh* Well, that was a bust."

"Hey, Amitie. What are you doing?"

"Oh. Hey, Nepgear." I said to my cousin as she walked up to me. "I was just trying to see if I could use my phone contact anyone from my world. But I haven't been having much luck."

"I see. It's probably because of the dimensional barriers between Gamindustri and Primp Town. They may be weakening because of what's happened so far, but they are still active."

"Huh…I guess that makes sense." I didn't really get it…but decided not to ask about it. All of this dimensional stuff is way too complicated for me to understand.

Maybe I can get Rivitie to simplify it for me…

"So, how's Neptune doing?" I asked. "Is she up yet?"

"*sigh* No, she's still out cold. It seems that a mix of her injuries and her new power really took up a lot of her energy. And…th-then some."

"And then some?"

"Histoire and Umio looked at her soul again. It's dwindled in size compared to when it was first discovered that her soul was shattered. To the point where it's almost non-existent. At this rate, there's no telling when it will completely shatter. Or what will happen once it does. And that's the part that I'm worried about."

"I see…it sounds like a strange power."

Was it truly possible that her fusing the two Zodiac powers made her soul worse? I mean…from what Resta told me, she already had the power of Sagittarius inside of her when her soul first started shattering. And her fusing it with Scorpio gave her…Aquarius, was it?

I'll have to ask Resta and Sagey about it later…

"Hey, Amitie…speaking of strange powers…that form you took back at Rebeat Resort. What was that, exactly?"

"*sigh* I knew this would be brought up…"

"Well, it's hard to ignore the fact that you started using powers near-identical to those of Copy Abilities."

"Yeah, true…" I said before taking a deep breath.

Well…here goes…

"Well, you see…my mom created this "Legend" that involved both me and Rivitie in it. It mentioned that the Light Soul, which is me, must use their hidden power to defeat the Dark Soul, being Rivitie, to prevent universal destruction. Its original purpose was to keep Rivitie inside this red hat I used to wear. Though it wasn't until I went to Dream Land that I learned any of that stuff…and learned that Mom made up most of it just to hide the fact that Rivitie was sealed away because of her cruel behavior. Basically choosing me over her."

"Wow…that's crazy." Nepgear said in disbelief. "But why would Melody go that far just to hide Rivitie from you?"

"*sigh* I don't really know. I tried asking her about our past once everything was back to normal…but she refused to bring it up again. Even when Rivitie started coming over every once in a while, she wouldn't budge. Almost as if she just wants to forget about it all."

"And…I kinda understand why. I mean…she did say that it reminds her too much of my dad."

"Oh, right. Your dad…his name was Felix, right?"

"Yeah…he died when I was young. So, my memories of him are rather vague. But even then, the ones that I do remember clearly are some of the best ones I have with him. So, I'll always have that with me."

"I see. Well…even though I never got the chance to meet him, I feel like Uncle Felix was a great man."

"Uncle Felix…*snicker*" I then started laughing to myself.

"Wh-What?"

"Oh, nothing. I was just remembering the time we all first met. When it was revealed that we were cousins, you called Mom "Auntie" and it totally pissed her off."

"G-Goodness! Why are you bringing that up now?!"

"*giggle* Sorry. It's just too funny."

"Not to me! Melody almost pelted me for it!"

"She was probably jealous of your never-aging boobs…"

"Sh-Shut up!" Nepgear's face was beyond red at this point. It was hard to tell if she was really embarrassed or just highly annoyed. So, I decided to stop for now.

Keyword: For now.

"Well, you two seem to be fine over here." We suddenly heard a new voice.

"Oh. Hey, IF." I said as she walked up to us. "We were just having a little fun over here."

"Yeah, at my expense!" Nepgear whined.

"Heh. Glad this chaotic hell isn't enough to ruin a family moment."

"What family moment?!"

As the two kept talking, I took notice of the huge belt of cell phones IF seems to wear around her. And it got me curious.

"Hey, IF. Why do you have so many phones with you?"

"Oh, this? I keep them around for my work as a Guild member."

"Guild member?"

"You know how we went to the Guild on the first day you came to look for Resta?" Nepgear said to me. "Well, that's where IF works."

"I often do espionage missions and get tips & leads on stuff happening around Planeptune. So, I keep a bunch of phones with me to have close contact with other Guild members." IF added.

"I see…"

"Can any of them contact people in different dimensions?"

"What? No. Am, I don't think any phone is powerful enough to do that."

"Oh…" I said in a sad tone.

"Why even ask such a weird question?"

"Well, IF…" Nepgear said. "…Amitie was trying to do the same on her phone."

"Huh?"

"I'm really worried about my world, honestly." I said. "It's been 3 days since I ended up here and a hell of a lot has happened. With the biggest one being that our worlds are now fused together. I don't know how big Gamindustri or Resta's world are…but Primp isn't really that big. And I feel like this dimensional fusion is making it get hit the hardest. I just wanna go back and help everybody."

"I get it…" IF said before going silent for a bit. "Well, Am. I'm sure you'll be glad to hear that I actually have a lead on getting you back to your world."

"S-Seriously?! You do?! How?!" I yelled with an excitedly shocked look.

"It's thanks to the work the Guild's been doing lately. After it was mentioned that you're the CPU's cousin from a different world, some extra research went into finding a way to get you home. And such a lead came by a few minutes ago."

"Get really real…" I sure was impressed that people behind the scenes were actually helping me get back to Primp. Even if it is because I'm related to their nation's ruler.

"So, what did you find?" Nepgear asked.

"Apparently…after the worlds began to fuse, star-shaped portals started appearing all over Gamindustri. There's already a bunch of them in Lastation and Lowee…and Leanbox is completely gone because of them."

"W-Wait, Leanbox is GONE?! Wh-Where did it go?!"

"*sigh* No one knows. We haven't been able to get in contact with Vert or with any Guild members in Leanbox. In fact, the same can be said about Noire and Blanc, too."

"Oh, no…" Nepgear sounded distressed.

"Uh…not to sound like I don't care about what's happening here…but will these portals really get me home?" I asked.

"Well…it's unknown that it'll work. These portals seem to have you travel through space and time. Taking you to who-knows-where when you get out."

"I see…so, it's completely random."

That sounds like Space-Time, alright…

"If only there was a way to have these portals take us to only one location…" Nepgear said.

"I can totally help with that." Said yet another new voice. And when we saw who it was, we were kinda surprised.

"Oh! Princess Sagey!"

"What? Come on…just call me Sagey. You're already non-formal with Resta."

"O-Oh, okay…Sagey."

"So, did you mean by you can help us?" IF asked.

"I'm not sure if Resta told you this already…but Zodiac Stones gain their power from the constellations in the sky. And since these portals have you traveling through space and time, we can totally use a Zodiac Stone to manipulate where they take us."

"S-Seriously?! They can do that?!" Nepgear asked in disbelief.

"Sure. With the right connections, of course."

"Connections?" IF asked.

"The portals around Planeptune seem to have the power of Sagittarius flowing through them. Probably thanks to that Arfoire lady using my Zodiac Stone so much. So, it's safe to say that only the Sagittarius Topaz will work in this case."

"I see. So, we can use the Sagittarius Topaz to connect Planeptune to Primp and get Am and the others home. Not that bad of a plan there, Sagey."

"Yes! I can finally get home!" I cheered with glee. "So, when can we make this happen, Sagey?"

"Well…there's actually a bit of a problem to that."

"Huh?" The three of us were confused.

"You see…when that Arfoire lady fled from that resort place, she dropped the Topaz without even realizing it. And I never got the chance to retrieve it due to everything that was happening at the time. So, now…"

"Now, we have to look for it, huh?" IF said with an exasperated look and tone. "Where do we even start looking with everything how it is now?"

"Well, it's somewhere in Planeptune. I can tell you that. I can feel its aura somewhere in this nation."

"At least the search area isn't that big." Nepgear said. "Let's all look for it together."

"I'm totally in!" I yelled out. "Anything to get me back home!"

"Well, I guess that settles it, then. We're going on a Topaz hunt." IF said.

"Thanks for the help, guys." Sagey said. "I'll totally repay you by making the connection work. I promise."

"Glad to hear that, Sagey! Now, let's go!" I cheered once more.

Minutes later, we were out on the streets of Planeptune searching for the Sagittarius Topaz for Sagey. It was only the four of us since most of the others were still sore from yesterday and Neptune's still out cold. But even with the group dwindled in size right now, it shouldn't be a problem to find one little stone, right?

I probably just jinxed it hard for us…

"Wow…Planeptune really took a beating." I said as I looked around the ruined-like state of my cousin's nation.

"It's thanks to the overpopulated monsters that started rampaging shortly after the worlds fused." IF said. "If I had to guess, it was probably Ridel and Kurome's doing to make things hell for anyone who managed to survive the ground crumbling up."

"Goodness…those two are really out to kill everyone, huh?" Nepgear asked.

"Oh, trust me. Those two are evil to the core." Sagey said. "When I was pretending to be under their control, all they would talk about was witnessing a pool of lifeless corpses from all three worlds in an apocalyptic state. Their goal is to truly murder us all."

"W-Woah…" Was all Nepgear and I were able to say.

"Well, we'll just have to beat them before they can make that violent goal happen." IF said. "And first thing's first is to find that Zodiac Stone."

"Right!" I said. "So…where do we start?"

"Hmm…I'm sensing the Topaz's power up ahead." Sagey said. "So, it's either the stone itself or just one of the portals that spawned everywhere."

"Let's just hope for the former." Nepgear said.

As we continued our way through the barely standing Planeptune…witnessing people doing all that they could to survive this apocalyptic nightmare…it made me wonder if Primp looked anything like this. And if the others are doing fine enough to live on.

I mean…they have their magic spells. But even then…how long will that last them?

"Geez…everyone's really struggling out here." Nepgear said.

"Yeah, tell me about it." IF said. "Planeptune's taken a beating before…but not to THIS extent. It truly looks like the end of the world."

"It makes me wonder how our world is holding up." Sagey said. "Probably not good since it fused with two other worlds."

"Oh, yeah…I've been meaning to ask, Sagey." I said to her. "When I first met Resta, she said that she rules the Scarlet Kingdom in your world. What's the name of your kingdom?"

"My kingdom? It's called the Cerulean Kingdom."

"Cerulean?"

"It's a shade of blue, the official color of Sagittarius. All the kingdoms in the Babylon Nebula are named after their official colors. I even represent it."

"I see…"

I wonder if Sig would like such a place? His favorite color is blue, after all…

"Babylon Nebula?" Nepgear asked. "Is that the name of your world?"

"Did Resta not tell you that? Well…I can kinda understand how she forgot. But still, it's been nearly a week since she fled. It should've at least come to mind a few times."

"Well, it has been a tough week for her." I said.

"True…"

Babylon Nebula, huh? I wonder if we'll ever go there…

"Hey! Guys!" We suddenly heard a voice calling for us. Then saw the owner of said voice run up to us.

"B-sha? What are you doing out here?" Nepgear asked the blonde girl.

"I'm helping out everyone who got caught up in that mess earlier. It was really sudden when the sky changed into that void and the ground started tearing apart. What the heck happened over there?"

"Well…uh…"

"To put it in layman's terms…the trio's plan to destroy our worlds has already gone into full-throttle." IF said. "And it looks like the other nations have already been hit hard like Planeptune."

"*sigh* I see. So, I guess that explains why I can't get a hold of K-Sha, C-Sha, and S-Sha."

"It really is just you out here?" Nepgear asked.

"Pretty much. Chuko can't really do much and Warechu was useless from the start. He basically ditched us once the ground started tearing."

"Somehow, that doesn't surprise me…" IF said with an exasperated look.

"So, it's just me helping people out and fighting off any monsters that come their way. And there's a lot more than usual, too." B-Sha said that last part while nearly exhausted. Which makes me believe that she really has been fighting monsters on her own.

With what, exactly? She doesn't look like a fighter despite being around the same size as Neptune and I…

"So…what are you guys doing out here? You even got a new girl with you."

"I'm Sagey. The Sagittarius Princess." Sagey said. "I'm from the same world Resta came from."

"Wow, really? So, you're one of those Zodiac Princesses Nep-Nep told me about. Nice to meet you, Sagey."

"Same for you, B-Sha."

"Right now, we're looking for Sagey's Zodiac Stone." IF said. "It's been opening portals all over Planeptune due to Arfoire using it so much."

"If we can find it and head towards one of the portals, we can send Amitie back to her world." Nepgear added.

"Woah! Seriously?! Like, that's possible?!"

"Sure is." Sagey said. "The connection between Planeptune and Primp Town seems to be strong due to the Sagittarius Topaz's power. We might be able to travel back and forth with it."

"Woah…just the thought of going to a different world sounds so cool! You gotta give me a tour once we get there, Amitie!"

"Huh? You mean you're coming with us?" I asked.

"Well, duh! I wanna help restore the worlds, too! It sucks seeing Gamindustri look like an apocalyptic wasteland."

"Yeah, but…"

"Don't worry, Am." IF said. "B-Sha can fight despite how she looks. She'll be of great help to us."

"Right!" B-Sha then went silent for a bit. "W-Wait, what do you mean "despite how she looks"?!"

"Well, B-Sha…" Nepgear said. "…in a lot of cases, you're a lot like Neptune. Lazy, childish, often too carefree for your own good."

"Also, you're flat like Nep." IF added. "It makes people think you're a child."

"A-As if you're one to talk about chest size, IF! You're just as flat as me!"

"S-So?! It's different for me! I'M an adult!"

"Doesn't that just make it worse?" Sagey asked.

"Sh-Shut up!"

"Well, anyway…" I said. "…I'm sure that if I brought this up to Neptune and the others, they would probably say the same thing. So, glad to have you on board, B-Sha."

"Yes! Thanks, Amitie! As a token of my appreciation, I'll treat this experience as an extended free trial!"

"Free trial?"

"B-Sha often charges people for her help." Nepgear said. "The only exception being children."

"I see…at least there's a limit somewhere." I gained a sweatdrop.

"So…where did you guys want to start looking for this stone?" B-Sha asked.

"We've been following Sagey's sense of it for a while now. She said it's close by."

"And it really is." Sagey said. "Like…really close by. It's almost as if it's right next to us."

"How? I don't see anything."

"I don't, either. But this is what the power of Sagittarius is telling me."

"Well, it doesn't seem like we're having much luck on our own. I'll see if I can get Compa and Uzume to help us ouuuuuuuuut!"

*THUD*

"IF! Are you okay?!" Nepgear asked as we all witnessed IF trip over something and fall into a giant hole.

"Ow…"

"Sounds fine to me." Sagey said.

"It looks like she tripped over this bush right here?" B-Sha said. "Why is it in the middle of the road?"

"Zzz…"

"W-Wait, did you guys just hear something?"

"Zzz…"

"It sounds like…someone's sleeping." Nepgear said.

"I-In the bush? Who would even sleep out here?" Sagey asked.

And then, as if it was oddly timed or something, the bush began moving on its own. Swaying back and forth and the rustling getting louder.

Until…

*RUSTLE*

*RUSTLE*

"BAAAAAH…"

"GAAAAH!"

"Ow…my back…it feels like someone kicked me hard or something…pfft."

"D…Dalida?" I said after a moment's worth of silence.

"Huh…Amitie…you're alive…pfft."

"W-Wait, you know this girl?" B-Sha asked me.

"This is Dalida Jihira. She's a classmate of mine back in Primp."

"Oh. A classmate?" Nepgear asked. "So, she can play Puyo Puyo like you?"

"Well, she's recently new at it. But she does fine like everyone else."

"I see…" Nepgear gained a small grin on her face.

I bet she's just glad to have more Puyo players around for her notes…

"Anyway…Dalida, what are you doing here?"

"Huh…I don't know…where am I, anyway…pfft."

"W-Well…" I thought about how to explain this. "…this is actually a different dimension, Dalida. One called Gamindustri."

"Gamindustri…pfft."

"The truth is…this world and our world are now fused together and everything's gone out of whack because of it. We're currently trying to fix it all."

"Oh…I don't really get it…but it sounds fun…pfft."

"Well, at least there's that…" I gained a sweatdrop.

We then proceeded to explain to Dalida the full story of what's been going on. The Zodiac Stones, the worlds fusing, and how Neptune's soul has taken serious damage from it all.

She still didn't get it. But in this case, I didn't blame her. There are still parts of this that even I don't understand.

"Woah…that's pretty insane…pfft."

"Yeah, you can say that." I said.

"Ugh…my body…it aches like hell…" Meanwhile, IF managed to get out of the hole she fell into thanks to B-Sha's help. And was now laying on the ground slowly trying to get up.

"You sure you're okay, IF?" B-Sha asked. "That was a pretty nasty fall."

"I should be fine once Compa heals me up a little. But moving to a more important matter…" IF then turned to Dalida with a highly pissed-off look on her face. "…Why the hell were you sleeping in the middle of the road?! Like, who even does that?!"

"S-Sorry, IF. But that's just what Dalida does." I said.

"What?!"

"She has a habit of lying down and falling asleep wherever she is at any given moment. Mainly because of all the chemicals she's constantly "chucking"."

"Chucking?" The four girls asked.

"I'm known as the Sage of Verity…pfft." Dalida said. "I chuck chemicals and use them to find all the truth in the world…it can be tiring work sometimes…pfft."

"Sage of Verity, huh? That sounds…interesting." Sagey said.

"It's a little concerning that she uses chemicals to find the world's truths…but it sounds cool, nonetheless." B-Sha added.

"*sigh* I'm still upset that you decided to sleep here and now of all times…" IF said. "…But I guess I can let it slide for now. Since we got bigger issues to deal with."

"What issues…pfft."

"We're looking for Sagey's Zodiac Stone. The Sagittarius Topaz." Nepgear explained. "If we find it, we can make a dimensional connection between Planeptune and Primp Town and get you guys back home."

"Oh…" Dalida went silent for a bit before she began to dig in her pocket. "…Is this what you're looking for…pfft." She asked as she held something in her hand that truly shocked us all.

Especially Sagey.

"Th-That's it! Th-That's the Sagittarius Topaz!"

"What?!" The four of us yelled in shock.

"Wh-Where did you find it?!" Sagey then asked Dalida.

"I found it after I fell into a portal back in Primp…a lot of them showed up after Ridel and that other girl left…pretty freaky…pfft."

"Aw, geez…so, there are some in Primp." I said. "Now, I'm even more worried about what's going on over there."

"Don't worry too much about it, Am." IF said. "Once Sagey makes the connection between our worlds, you'll be able to go back and see what's up."

"Yeah, and we'll help you out, too." Nepgear added.

"*sigh* Thanks, guys."

"So, first things first." Sagey said. "Can you take us to where the portal spat you out, Dalida?"

"Sure…I guess…it's not that far from here, now that I think about it…pfft."

"Great! Let's go!"

Dalida soon took us to where she ended up after falling into the portal back in Primp. Being an old arcade place that had shut down before any of this had happened. When asked if she was in shock or confused about suddenly being warped to a different dimension, Dalida said that it didn't really bother her much. Which, to me, was a pretty normal response to expect from her.

The only thing that riles her up is whenever she runs out of chemicals to chuck…

"Here it is…pfft." Dalida said as we all stood in front of the portal. It was star-shaped, much like how IF described them. And it had this REALLY powerful aura coming from it. Probably from the power of Sagittarius Sagey was talking about.

"Wow…so this is a Space-Time portal." I said. "I'm surprised one managed to stay open for this long. They usually disappear shortly after someone jumps inside it."

"Usually?" IF asked. "You seem to know a lot about Space-Time, Am. Is it THAT common in your world?"

"Oh, um…let's just say that I know a person who uses it a lot. It's pretty convenient for him."

He also usually gets us in trouble with it…but Ecolo is Ringo's nuisance. Not mine.

"I see…"

"Woah…so, these things would take you to a different world in an instant, huh? So crazy…"

"H-Hey! Watch it, B-Sha!" I yelled as she stepped closer to the portal to get a better look at it. "If you get sucked in there, there's no telling where you'll end up."

"R-Right. Sorry…"

"So, what do we have to do to make this portal work in our favor?" Nepgear asked Sagey.

"Simple, really. All I gotta do is stand in front of the portal with the Sagittarius Topaz in hand and perform a special ritual."

"R-Ritual?"

"With this, we'll be able to manipulate and control all the portals in and around Planeptune. And thus, we'll be able to travel between here and Primp whenever we want. Pretty sweet, right?"

"I guess…" IF said. "…But is it really just Planeptune? What about the other nations?"

"Unfortunately, the power of Sagittarius doesn't reach that far out. And I already talked to Resta and she said that her power of Scorpio only resides in Primp. Since it's the only place she's ever been to. So, I'm afraid Primp is the only place we can go to at the moment."

"I see. *sigh* I bet it would've been difficult anyway with how Gamindustri is right now."

"I just hope the others are okay." Nepgear said with a sad concerned look on her face.

"Well, in any case…It requires complete concentration in order for the ritual to work. So, I'll need total silence for a while."

"Whatever helps, Sagey." I said.

With that, Sagey stood in front of the portal with her Sagittarius Topaz in hand. Preparing to perform the special ritual that would connect Primp Town to Planeptune and get me back home.

I'm really hoping this works…

After a few seconds, a blue magic circle with the symbol of an arrow appeared underneath Sagey as she began to glow. And the Topaz was spewing out such intense power. It was making my whole body jittery. Maybe due to my Light Soul powers…but I can't be too sure.

"Woah…so this is the power of a Zodiac Stone. It's so intense." B-Sha whispered.

"Yeah, no kidding." IF said. "It almost makes complete sense as to why Arfoire, Kurome, and Ridel want them so badly."

"Power THIS intense in their hands…we definitely got to stop them and fast." Nepgear said.

"No doubt about that, Nepgear." I said.

"The world I want, the world I crave…

Make me stand there with wisdom and brave!

Space I command and Time I command…

Take me there now as my demand!

Topaz of Sagittarius, listen to me…

This is my will, so mote it be!"

We all watched as Sagey continued to perform the ritual to make the portal work in our favor. It seemed like it was working. The portal kept pulsing like a heart as sparks of lightning swarmed around it.

It was kinda gross to look at, honestly. I had to look away for a bit.

"It's almost done, guys!" Sagey called to us."Just a few more minutes and…"

*VRRRRR…*

"Huh? Wait, what was…" I asked once we all heard a strange sudden noise.

And then…

*SOUND OF RAPID FIRE BULLETS*

"B-Bullets?! Someone's firing a gun?!"

"Cyanide…"

*BOOM*

"*sigh* Thanks, Dalida." I said after she had used one of her spells to deflect the raining bullets.

"You're welcome…pfft."

"Who the hell is firing a GUN at us?!"

*VRRRRR…*

We then started hearing hard and heavy footsteps heading towards us. As if someone was stomping along the way. But once the culprit came into view…i-it wasn't really a person. More so…a giant robot?

*VRRRRR…*

"Oh, no…it's a Dia Sniper!"

"A what?" I asked Nepgear.

"It's part of species of machine-type enemies that are found in this world. There are a lot of them…but Dia Snipers are one of the strongest out there."

"You're kidding…why's one here?"

"If I had to guess…it's probably guarding this portal so that no one can escape. Most likely under Kurome's orders." IF said.

"Ugh. Seriously? How is that girl so far ahead of us?"

*VRRRRR…*

Meanwhile, this Dia Sniper thing was scanning all of us one by one. From Sagey to B-Sha to IF to Nepgear…and when it had gotten to me, its blue screen had turned completely red.

That can't be good…

*TARGET CONFIRMED! INITIATING ANNIHILATION OF LIGHT SOUL!*

"A-Annihilation?!" I yelled in total shock.

"Light Soul?" IF asked.

"Who's that?" B-Sha asked.

"U-Um, well…you see…" And before I was able to explain…

*SOUND OF RAPID FIRE BULLETS*

"M-More bullets!"

*sigh* I guess it's better to just show them…

"Mirror!" I shouted before activating the Mirror Ability.

"Reflect Force!" I then began reflecting all of the bullets that this robot shot at us. Sending them all over the place and even some back at the thing.

*DAMAGE RECEIVED!*

"W-Woah, what?! What the heck was that?!" B-Sha yelled.

"Look, I'll explain later. Let's just take this thing down, first. I'm pretty sure it's after me."

"Dalida, can you protect Sagey while we fight this robot?" Nepgear asked her. "We wouldn't want the process to be interrupted after getting this far."

"Sure…that seems easy…pfft."

"Thanks, Dalida." Sagey said. "The ritual's almost done. So, if you guys can keep this thing busy for a few minutes, that'll be great."

"Heh. We'll do more than that, Sagey." IF said with a confident tone.

*VRRRRR…SENSING INCREASED THREAT! UPGRADING COMBAT STYLE! INITIATING AI-CONTROLLED PUYO BATTLE!*

"Wait…what…pfft." Dalida said.

"D-Did it really just say…" Nepgear said.

"P…PUYO BATTLE?!" I yelled in total shock.

Author's Notes: After recovering from a near-fatal battle, Amitie learns that there is a possible way for her to get home. But once she comes close to it, she gets sucked into another battle. She just can't catch a break, can she?

This chapter was intended to be longer…in fact, I consider this one to be incomplete. But with the word count already passed 5,000…I had no choice but to spit it. I don't want these chapters to be too long, you know.

Also…I've come to notice that Fanfiction changed something with the texts. To where the asterisks in censored swear words don't fully appear. And it looks weird. So, now I gotta go through certain stories either use the actual word or remove it entirely. It depends on the age rating.

Thanks for reading. Later.
