My eyes opened lightly while Tatsu's voice chuckled softly," Woke up finally," the feeling of movement made me stiffen involuntarily while I felt we were swaying, moving.

Waking up completely while Miyuki snorted," You have been asleep for around fifteen hours. It is roughly eleven if I had to guess, you needed the rest, and you are probably hungry. Centurion Julius said there would be some food coming shortly, along with time to go to the top of the ship, supervised of course. Especially Dai."

Dai grunted," They are romans."

I realized both Tatsu and Dai were naked minus for wearing their underwear, making me blush at the exposure Dai also had bloody marks, bringing my knees to my chest. I realized a few things, a different set of chains, and a mark on my wrist, a tattoo of some kind. It looked like it was burned into me while Miyuki stated," We all have one," she showed me her own, a crown with a set of crossed swords.

Shivering slightly while I questioned softly," Why didn't I feel anything?"

Dai snorted," Miyuki landed a quick blow to the nerves that made sure you couldn't feel anything from the neck down."

Miyuki shrugged while I shivered slightly while Tatsu stood up, stretching while the scars littering his body showed, from countless battles that he has fought in and survived. All of us had scars, when suddenly the ship seemed to slam into something hard causing Tatsu to fall forward towards Mai who was unprepared as Tatsu's face crashed into her chest as Dai chuckled as Mai calmly spoke, her face red in a blush, but I could sense her killing intent," Tatsu, kindly get your face out of my chest."

Tatsu pushed himself off while Mai swung her fist, connecting right in his chest, even with the chains on it carried a fair amount of force as he groaned when he fell on the ground in agony. The door opened up as Centurion Julius stood there taking note of Mai's blush on her face, and Tatsu on the ground groaning.

He snapped out of it, and ordered," My charges stand up.

Mai stood up, while I followed suit, having to let Miyuki up anyways when he stepped towards Mai," Going to take you guys up top, figured you would need some fresh air, instead of being in the damp cell."

He grabbed Mai's chains and locked a hook onto it before grabbing Miyuki's and mine, doing the same. He took the other end of the chain yanking it, forcing us to follow behind him. Making it up the stairs while I took notice Roman soldiers standing, or working on the ship. Some staying on guard while other slaves were cleaning the deck.

I could feel the gazes of countless roman soldiers and other slaves looking at us. He led us up another set of stairs, towards the back of the ship, until he attached his end of the chain to a hook," Sit down."

Closing my eyes I released a shaky breath, before sensing the auras, and the gazes sensing us, lust, malice, being the worst kinds of auras directed at us, then I sensed auras of respect, and indifference from others. I heard Centurion Julius leave and the voice of Centurion Marcus mused when I opened my eyes looking at him," So all of you are awake. You have permission to speak while you are up here."

Miyuki responded," Yes, Usagi woke up not long ago."

Heavy footfalls came towards us while a third Centurion appeared and snorted," The little girl seems scared, as she should be."

He looked at me as his hand reached towards me as Centurion Marcus grabbed his wrist," They are not yours to touch. They are the emperors and princeps to touch and do as they please."

He snorted, and responded," Yes and they are slaves and not yours meaning we can do as we wish to them until they are in their owners rightful possession."

Scooting towards Miyuki, while fear once again gripped my system while a small amount of anger flooded through me as the Centurion had his hand on his sword while Marcus growled," You have never defeated me in a one on one fight. I am the senior Centurion on site remember that."

The man ripped his arm out of his grip and marched away as a fourth centurion, came up and Tatsu along with Dai were pulled up, one of the other soldiers snorted," The males would be good for gladiator fights. I wonder how they would do against a Lion, a rhino, or a leopard from Africa Vetus. These woman are also like the males no? I am curious on how they would do in the colosseum."

Tatsu narrowed his gaze while Dai glared at them while the fear already gripping my body seemed to strengthen rapidly, already not liking the sound of the colosseum. Miyuki and Mai seemed in different but I could feel Miyuki tensing.

"Soldiers enough with the talk and go train on the deck, I am sure the other members of the legion caught some for the colosseum a while back," Centurion Julius came walking from the steps holding a tray of some food, he placed it in the middle of us and left a moment later and left and I heard the clash of blades a moment later.

Centurion Marcus who was still here snorted," Well they are going to be more scared now that Julius is fighting them. He is the only soldier in the roman army that can go toe to toe against our Praetor, his half brother. Reason why he was promoted so quickly, that and along with his father being Lord Jupiter, I wouldn't be surprised if he was moved to the praetorian guard."

I questioned, for the first time in a soft voice," Praetorian guard?"

He merely looked at me," Elite soldiers who protect the royal family, meaning each of them are skilled enough to go up against our Praetor and fight him to a draw. The captain being able to defeat him."

My eyes wide in shock as I quietly took a piece of meat with my fingers,' They have someone stronger than the man that killed my father?!'

Looking out the distance, I could see a wall of dark clouds moving towards us as the Centurion mused," A storm is coming towards us. Well looks like Centurion Julius will be busy. We should get you slaves below the deck. We are in for a rough day and night."

Miyuki spoke up," If you need help I will provide support."

The Centurion rose a brow," Sure you can with that collar around your neck blocking your power."

She smiled lightly," True but you have my little sister beside me as hostage, and I don't know how far we are from the main land on either side. You said we were going to be on the ship for several months. In the shinobi world I have the greatest control over the water element in over two hundred years. Same goes with Tatsu who is the greatest wind user, Dai is the best earth user, Usagi as young as she is the best katon and genjutsu user, and Mai being one of the best lightning users. Pretty sure Mai, Tatsu, and myself can help, take Usagi below deck along with Dai and hold them hostage."

A different Centurion walked up the steps," I say we let them, I saw you in battle, you say your name is Miyuki right? She has greater control over water then the Praetor of the second legion."

Miyuki looked at the Centurion and nodded, while Centurion Marcus sighed," Fine. We will need all the help we can get. Take these two below deck," He looked towards Mai, Miyuki, and Tatsu and stated," I am not allowing you guys to leave from where you are chained."

Miyuki responded," No issue at all, this is mainly chakra control to begin with."

The storm clouds were moving closer as I saw a flash of lightning, along with the rough sound of thunder.

Julius moved towards us and unhooked me along with Da I looked at Miyuki as she nodded," We will see you soon Usagi. Dai keep her safe and make sure she is alright or I swear to Kami I will rip your spine from your body and beat you with it."

Dai nodded," I will."

Centurion Julius pushed us both towards the stairs as I took a deep breath and immediately entered the state of a shinobi mind while we entered below deck. He pushed Dai into the cell first and me right after. He followed us inside and grabbed two hooks on the ceiling I never noticed and forced my hands up trapping me onto the hook with the hole in the cuffs on my wrists. He did the same to Dai who could easily stand due to his height. and I could barely touch the bottom of the ground while he glanced at me," This is so you don't go flying around. Though I have to admit you have a beautiful body despite being in your mid teens. Even if you have scars from your battles it shows you are strong."

I was growing fearful of what he would do but I sensed no lust of malicious intent in his aura, when he spun on his heel and walked out of the door a moment later locking it behind him.

Dai quietly whispered," You alright?"

"No, why do you even ask that?! I am practically nude, with a high chance of being raped?! Not only that we are slaves and defenseless," tears once again rolled down my face while I quietly cried.

An hour later

The boat begun to rock violently in the water, while the sound of thunder shook the boat while I was barely able to stay on my toes as Dai chuckled," Watching you struggle with this is kinda amusing."

Managing to swing myself towards him, the chain around my ankles hit him in the nuts as he groaned in agony, coughing as he slumped in the chains holding him up while I narrowly avoided to cry out when the back of my foot hit the bench that we laid on originally. Lifting my foot up, noticing no blood as I managed to get my toes back on the ground while Dai coughed in agony.

He groaned," That hurt!"

Eventually the feeling of my eyes growing heavy I quietly timed a jump with the boat rocking getting my feet onto the bench, Dai having recovered looked at me," I somewhat deserve that."

I glared at him quietly when I was yanked off the bench by a vicious toss of the boat, the waves slamming the boat, I managed to lift my feet up I stopped myself from hitting my heel again, getting my toes back on the ground. I shivered slightly while I closed my eyes to focus on staying still.
