Chapter 4: Temper Trouble
Hey everyone I'm back with a new chapter. Now this one I decided would be the perfect episode for an issue that was never quite looked into in Young Justice. I hope you like what I have planned. Please Review and Enjoy.
In the sewers of New York, Robin was looking at a tracker with Artemis and Superboy walking behind.
"I can't believe they actually live down here." Artemis asks.
"Well I don't think giant talking turtles can get an apartment. Leo said that their dad took extreme measures to make sure no one found them by accident." Robin explains.
"I forget which one is Leo?" Superboy asks.
"The one with the blue mask. Raph is the red mask, Mikey is orange, Donnie is purple and Gio is the green mask." Robin points out.
"He's easy, he's the only human." Artemis said.
Making their way into the base, the three of them look around.
"Hmm gotta say it's a lot nicer than I thought it would be." Robin said seeing the main room, the tv, kitchen and areas leading to rooms.
"So where is everyone?" Artemis said when Superboy heard something.
"Hello there." Jumping back the three of them turn to see Master Splinter with his cane. "I must say I was not expecting company so soon."
"A giant rat?" Artemis cringed. "These guys get weirder and weirder."
"Giovanni told me one named Robin would arrive. Which one of you is him?" Splinter asks.
"That would be me sir." Robin steps forward. "This is Superboy and Artemis."
"Konnichiwa, I am Master Splinter." Splinter bow and they slowly bow in response. "My boys told me you would arrive."
"Wait boys…you're their guardian?" Superboy asks.
"I prefer father after everything we've been through. Come they're in the middle of training." Splinter said leading them down to a room.
'Turtle brothers and a rat father, how did that guy get pulled into such a strange family?' Artemis asks.
"We appreciate you allowing them to help us." Robin said.
"Yes, well I am indeed happy they want to help they needed to punished for agreeing to all this without my permission first." Splinter said.
"So what are they grounded?" Superboy asks.
"Oh no…I put them in the Hashi." Splinter opens a door and the three of them look to see the 5 turtles in extremely difficult positions.
Leo was doing the splits on wooden pillars and holding eggs with chopsticks, Gio was doing the crane kick pose atop a truck tire with books on his head, Raph was balancing on a tricycle while knitting a scarf, Donnie was playing ping pong by himself on a wobbly table and Mikey was doing a handstand on a rolling chair.
"11 Hours in the Hashi. Have you boys learned your lesson?" Splinter asks.
"Yes Sensei!" Gio said when Artemis looks at him with a cringed expression. "Take a picture it'll last longer."
"Hey guys we're almost done." Mikey said.
"How you holding up fellas?" Leo cringed.
"I ain't breaking if Donnie ain't breaking." Raph cringed.
"Experiencing nausea but not breaking." Donnie said.
"Hold it…hold it." Splinter said as each one cringed before a timer went off. "And you're done."
Groaning all of them got out of their positions.
"Ugh that was the worst." Leo said as they stretched.
"So you guys find anything on the Kraang?" Robin asks walking over.
"We have intel that the Kraang are gonna break into a lab so we're going on stakeout." Donnie said.
"And so are we." Robin said.
"I don't know, what we do is pretty tough. Think you Heroes can do ninja work?" Raph smirks.
"I think I can manage." Superboy glares.
"Gear up fellas." Gio said as they headed out.
Later that night, the 8 of them were staking out the warehouse.
"Anything?" Leo asks as Donnie was looking through a small telescope.
"Nothing yet." Donnie said as Robin looked through binoculars.
"So far it's quiet." Robin said.
"Don't get used to it." Gio said as Artemis walks over.
"So what's your deal?" Artemis asks.
"What do you mean?" Gio raised an eyebrow.
"Turtle brothers, rat father, living in a sewer. You got a mom in this group?" Artemis asks.
"Nope, just us. Master Splinter took us all in and raised us as his sons and ninjas." Gio said.
"We were just cute little baby turtles before mutagen fell on us…well except Raph." Mikey said when Raph punched him for that.
"That ooze the Kraang use?" Superboy asks.
"Yep, we got lucky." Donnie said.
"And you?" Artemis asks looking at him.
"Master Splinter found me all alone in an alley so he brought me with him." Gio said.
Needless to say this surprised them.
"So what's your story?" Gio asks.
"Sorry don't feel like sharing." Artemis said walking away.
"She always like this?" Gio asks looking at Robin.
"Pretty much. Artemis doesn't like to share. She's Green Arrow's niece and she leaves it at that." Robin said.
"Hey isn't that the same symbol for that Superman guy?" Mikey asks looking at Superboy. "Are you like his sidekick or something?"
"No I'm not." Superboy narrows his eyes hating that.
"Oh so you like his son, assistant, biggest fan, or no wait you're his second cousin twice removed?" Mikey asks when Superboy grabbed Mikey and throws him into a satellite dish.
"Stop talking." Superboy growls.
"Superboy calm down." Robin said as he slowly lets go.
"I know, Mikey is so annoying." Raph said.
"Guys, when ninjas are on surveillance, they are supposed to be silent." Leo whispers.
"Tell that to this guy. I was just asking him some stuff." Mikey whines.
"Did it ever occur to you I don't like sharing?" Superboy glares.
"Come on man we're a team I just wanna get to know you." Mikey said.
"Not yet we are." Superboy points out.
"Great it's like we have a second Raph." Donnie said.
"We're wasting our time. The kraang aren't gonna show up." Raph said.
"Have a little patience, will you?" Leo asks.
"How do we even know they'll be here?" Artemis asks.
"Hey I have very reliable intel that they'll be here tonight." Gio said.
"Intel? You mean April told you." Raph assumes.
"April?" Artemis asks looking at him.
"She's a friend. April's dad was kidnapped by the Kraang and she's helping us out." Gio said.
"You didn't tell her about us did you?" Robin asks.
"No, I figured you guys could do that when you opened up to us." Gio said.
"Ugh why couldn't get some of your other teammates?" Raph said looking to Robin.
"Look Raph, until you guys can prove yourselves you guys what you get." Robin said.
"And frankly we're not that impressed." Superboy said when the door opens.
"What the heck's going on up here?!" Turning to the exit they saw a fat bald man glaring at them from the stairs. This was Vic. "What, are you playing dress up?"
"Uh oh." Gio cringed.
"Look sir we uh—" Leo starts when Vic noticed the destroyed satellite.
"Which one of you slimy green ham shanks busted my satellite dish?" Vic snaps.
"Ham shanks?" Raph and Superboy glare.
"I don't know what that means." Donnie said.
"You don't wanna know." Robin said.
"Well how I shut him up?" Raph glares about to attack when Leo grabs his arm.
"Let's go." Leo said.
"He's not worth it." Superboy growls.
"That's right, you spineless cream puff! Listen to your mommy." Vic mocks.
"Hey! Watch it buddy!" Raph said drawing his sai.
"Oh, no. I didn't know you had salad tongs." Vic laughs.
"Salad tongs?! Oh why you!" Raph was about to go when Superboy stops him.
"Hey try thinking before rushing in!" Superboy said.
"Like you're one to talk! You smashed the satellite dish in the first place idiot!" Raph said.
"What did you say?!" Superboy glares getting in his face.
"You heard me! You're such an idiot even Mikey looks smarter than you!" Raph points.
"Hey!" Mikey whines.
"Oh that's it!" Superboy snaps as the two of them were about to fight.
While the others were trying to stop Raph and Superboy from killing each other none of them noticed the Kraang getting supplies from the lab when they spotted them.
"You want a piece of me? When I'm done, a piece of you is all that's gonna be left!" Raph snaps.
"Not before I smash you and your stupid shell to pieces!" Superboy yells.
"Can't you control your brother?!" Artemis yells as she, Robin and Gio were holding Superboy and Leo, Donnie and Mikey were holding Raph.
"Can't you control him?!" Gio snaps when a laser fires past them narrowly missing.
Looking over they saw multiple Kraangdroids on the roof with them.
"Kraangdroids!" Leo gasps.
"Holey Toledo!" Vic gasps.
"Way to blow our position you two." Gio said as the turtles drew their weapons and Robin and Superboy took fighting stances.
"Like you did any better." Artemis said drawing her bow.
"Less fighting with each other and more fighting with the enemy!" Robin said.
"Scram!" Leo said as the Kraangdroids started firing at them.
As they ran out of the way Vic pulled out his phone to record them fighting.
"Whoa, they're like Kung Fu Frogs and sidekicks." Vic said.
Rushing in Superboy punches on droid sending it crashing down before Artemis and Robin fired arrows and disk causing them to explode.
Charging in, Leo, Raph, Gio, Donnie and Mikey attack the droids knocking them.
"Yeah keep going kung fu wannabes! This is gold!" Vic said distracting them as the Kraangdroids leaped off the roof.
"We're not wannabes!" Superboy said.
"Yeah, and it's not kung fu. It's an ancient Japanese battle art." Donnie said.
"Guys, he got us on video." Gio points out.
"Not for long!" Raph said charging in.
"I got this!" Superboy said about to move in but they end up crashing into each other.
"I am gonna make a fortune off this." Vic said making his escape.
"Not if I get my hands—" Before Artemis could finish they head sirens.
"Firetrucks! We gotta move now!" Donnie said.
"What do you mean we?" Superboy growls.
"You guys fight with us that means you gave to flee with us." Leo said.
"Wait! We have to find that guy and break his phone, and his face!" Raph said.
"We don't hurt civilians." Robin said as they made their escape.
Back at the turtle base, Artemis, Robin and Superboy were watching as Splinter was lecturing his boys.
"Not only did your argument with your new allies alert the Kraang but you got caught on video." Splinter glares.
"Hey if it wasn't for Superloserboy over there we never would have been in this mess!" Raph points.
"You wanna go for Round 2? I'll kick your butt all over again!" Superboy glares.
"Oh don't tempt me!" Raph said about to get up when Splinter stops him.
"Enough! Your job is to work in the shadows, in secret. This becomes difficult if there is proof of your existence in high-definition." Splinter said.
"Their existence. People know about us." Artemis points out.
"Shut it right now or I'll make you." Gio glares.
"Is that a threat?" Artemis glares.
"A promise." Gio replies.
"I knew I should have waited for Kid Flash and Aqualad." Robin mutters as he facepalms.
"Look, we know where this guy lives. All we need to do is find him and shake him until the tape pops out." Raph said.
"Oh, there's no tape. Videophones use flash memory—" Donnie starts until Raph growls at him.
"Anger is self-destructive." Splinter advises.
"Thanks, I could have found that advice in a fortune cookie." Superboy shrugs.
"Raphael stand up. You as well." Splinter said looking to Superboy.
"Look pal you do not order me around." Superboy said.
"I may not be your instructor but that doesn't mean you are not also in need of a lesson." Splinter said.
"Uh oh. You're in trouble." Mikey chuckles as both glare at him.
"Would you two be interested in helping with a training excerise?" Splinter asks looking to Robin and Artemis.
"Uh it's not that Hashi thing is it?" Artemis asks.
"No, I have something else in mind." Splinter said.
In the Dojo, everyone was holding bows with suction cup arrows as Raph and Superboy stood in the middle.
"For this you two must evade the arrows, you can even work together if you choose." Splinter said.
"Doubt I'll even need his help." Raph said.
"Right back at ya." Superboy said cracking his knuckles. "Start it up."
"Hajime!" Splinter said as they all started firing arrows at them but Raph and Superboy were able to leap around dodging them.
"Ha too easy!" Raph said as he dodged a shot from Artemis and Splinter caught it.
"Ya me!" Splinter calls out getting their attention. "Now all of you, insult them as you fire."
"Wait insult…them?" Donnie asks.
"You want us to insult our teammates?" Robin asks.
"Yes." Splinter nods.
"And they can't fight back?" Gio asks.
"No." Splinter shook his head.
"Well this definetly a change from Black Canary." Robin said.
"I like this." Artemis said.
"Hajime!" Splinter said.
"Hey Raph you move like a bloated buffalo!" Mikey said firing at him.
"I do not!" Raph said getting hit.
"Yeah and there's no way you're related to Superman. Compared to him you stink." Gio said firing at Superboy.
"Shut it!" Superboy said getting hit.
"And you're always whining. Poor me, nobody understand me." Leo said.
"Superboy says the same thing." Robin said as the two tried to dodge and got hit again and again.
"You two act tough but I bet you're really just scared little babies!" Gio said.
"Ah I wish this moment could last forever." Mikey said.
"I should try this on Wally when I get back home." Artemis chuckles enjoying this as Splinter walks up to them.
"This was pointless." Superboy said.
"And stupid." Raph adds as they ripped arrows off them.
"Ninniku seishinis the ability to endure insults with patience and humility. Ninjas as well as heroes need to master this skill. And more than that you all need to truly understand teamwork now that our group is growing." Splinter said.
"Hai sensei." Gio and the turtles sigh.
"He's got a point." Robin said.
"We're used to Aqualad just calling the shots." Artemis said.
"We probably should figure out leadership for these." Robin nods.
Later that night at Vic's apartment, he was walking out while talking on his phone.
"That's right. I swear on my mother's grave that these guys are frogs and they know kung fu. You can't tell me that's not worth something." Vic said when Gio, the Team and the Turtles surround him. "Uh I'll call you back. Lay one finger on me, frog, and I'm calling the cops."
"We're not gonna hurt you." Raph growls.
"Then what do you want?" Vic asks.
"We got off on the wrong foot. Some things were said, and well, we would just like that video back." Raph said as Leo elbows him. "Please."
"What are you gonna give me for it?" Vic asks.
"Give you for it?" Raph asks.
"Well, I figure I've got you over a barrel, so you've got to make it worth my while." Vic smirks.
"Seriously? We're dealing with something big here." Robin said.
"Why do you think I'm bribing you?" Vic points out.
"I'll make it worth your while. I won't take your hand and smash it against the—" Raph snaps until Gio stops him.
"Okay that's enough out of you." Gio said.
"Look these guys need their pirvacy so what's it gonna cost? 20? 50 bucks?" Artemis shrugs.
"How about a cool mil?" Vic suggests.
"A million?!" They all said in shock.
"I can make serious money off this thing. And if you don't want to pay, I'll hold on to it until someone else does." Vic said.
"Do you guys have a million dollars?" Artemis asks.
"We live in a sewer we don't dollars period." Gio said.
"Screw it, I'm breaking his phone." Superboy growls.
"And him while I'm at it." Raph adds grabbing Vic and slamming him to the ground. "Give us that tape!"
Suddenly a van came rushing in and from it the Kraangdroids emerged.
"Oh not them again." Robin groans.
"Take cover!" Gio yells as the Kraang started firing at them.
However while the others were trying to avoid fire Superboy and Raph saw Vic being pulled into the van.
"Oh no you don't!" Raph said.
"Get back here!" Superboy said as they ran over.
"Guys what are you doing?!" Leo yells.
As the van drove off Superboy and Raph were fighting off the Kraang making their way to Vic.
"Come on let's go!" Raph said.
"Forget it! You wannabes don't want to buy my video, maybe these guys will." Vic said not budging.
"Guys get outta there!" Donnie yells.
"Listen, you idiot! Forget about the money for 5 seconds!" Superboy snaps about to punch him when the Kraang grabbed them.
"So long wannabes!" Vic said as the Kraang threw them off. "Uh, thanks for the help, guys. Have I got a deal for you." Vic said turning to them. "So uh you guys triplets or something?"
On the road all of them were slow to get up.
"That was humiliating." Artemis growls.
"I'll say. I thought you guys had done this before." Gio said glaring at her.
"Hey it's not our fault your brother is a reckless hothead." Artemis said.
"Nice line we can say the same for Superboy." Leo glares.
"You guys ditched us so you could yell at some guy and now he's with the Kraang." Leo snaps.
"We'll find them." Superboy said.
"How?" Mikey asks when Robin noticed a trail.
"This might help." Robin said as saw the spills.
"Great, I could use some punching bags." Superboy said.
"Not you two." Leo said.
"Yeah you guys can go back to the base." Gio said.
"Who are you two to order them around?" Artemis asks.
"Hey of this team Gio and I are leader and second in command." Leo said.
"On your missions you guys are in charge but this is our mission so we're in charge." Gio said.
"And frankly you two need to control your temper." Leo said as he, Gio and the other turtles ran off.
"You guys can't honestly agree?" Superboy asks.
"Superboy, right now having you two together is dangers for the mission." Robin said.
"Frankly this whole team is." Artemis said as they ran after them.
At the turtle base, Raph and Superboy were sitting down as Raph's turtle spike ate some lettuce.
"So uh… this thing yours?" Superboy asks.
"Yes and his name is Spike." Raph said before growling. "Who do our teammates think they are? So what if I got a temper? I'm still the best fighter we've got. In fact, if anything, my anger makes me a better fighter." Raph said.
"I know right." Superboy agrees.
"You understand me, don't you, Spike? Chew on your leaf if you understand me." Raph said as Spike took a bite. "I thought so."
"I understand you two." Splinter said startling them.
"Look pal I am really not in the mood for a lecture." Superboy said.
"Or a story." Raph adds.
"Spike, chew on your leaf if you are in the mood for a story." Splinter said as Spike took a bite. "Very well. When I was a young man, I fell in love with a woman."
"Well if it's for the turtle I'm just gonna go." Superboy said.
"Sit, both of you." Splinter said as they both sat down and looked at him. "Her name was Tang Shen. And I was not the only one who loved her. There was another man competing for her attention Oroku Saki."
"Shredder." Raph said knowing who he meant.
"One day, he insulted me in front of her. He called me many things. I felt I could not let those insults go unanswered. I lost my temper. And over time, our rivalry festered into hatred until Shredder sought to finish me And I lost my beloved Tang Shen." Splinter explains.
"But it wasn't your fault. That Shredder guy insulted you. You had no choice." Superboy said.
"No choice? I could have chosen to ignore him. I could have chosen to let his words wash over me Like a river over stone. But I let him anger me. It was I who made his words into weapons. That's the choice I made. What choice will you make?" Splinter asks.
"Look Splinter, I'm not exactly one who's made good choices. I mean I'm supposed to be Superman's clone but he won't even acknowledge me." Superboy said.
"His clone?" Raph said surprised.
"Whether or not Superman accepts you is not what makes you a hero. It is what you, Superboy do that makes you a hero. Not him." Splinter said putting a hand on his shoulder. "Don't wait for others to decide your path for you, decide it yourself."
Hearing this Superboy smiles softly.
Meanwhile in the bad part of town, the group had followed the trail to an old warehouse.
"Yep they're in there." Robin said.
"Are we really going to do this without Raph?" Mikey asks.
"We can handle it." Leo said.
"I don't know. It just feels like something's missing." Mikey said when Gio hit him on the head. "Ow! Thanks."
"Happy to do it again." Gio smiles.
Making their way in they saw the place was filled with old crates and webs.
Slowly making their way in Artemis looks to Mikey and whacks him on the back of the head.
"Ow! You don't have to keep doing that." Mikey growls.
"There was a spider on you." Artemis smirks. 'Okay now I see why they hit this one a lot.'
"Well there's one on you too!" Mikey swings about to smack her when Artemis grabs his arm.
"Nice try." Artemis said pushing him away.
"Nice." Gio chuckles.
"Guys over here." Robin calls out.
"You need to see this." Donnie said.
Sneaking over they see Vic tied to a chair by a giant container of mutagen.
"The image that is the image on the phone is pleasing to the eye of Kraang. This is true. Kraang is looking what is known in earth terms as "handsome" in this phone." Kraang said.
"Well, you guys drive a hard bargain. Tell you what, I'll drop it down to $500,000. And you can keep the phone." Vic bargains but they ignore him. "How about 400,000?"
"This is our fight with the creatures called the turtles. The usefulness of this will be proven usefully with the more watching of this." One Kraang said.
"Also this is being a good image of Kraang. We should be showing the image of Kraang to Kraang." Another Kraang said.
Throwing a rope around Vic's chair they slowly pulled trying to get him away.
Turning around Vic saw Mikey pulling him in.
"Hang on, we're gonna get you out of here." Leo whispers.
"What about my phone?" Vic asks but Leo shushes him.
"Don't shush me. I ain't leaving here without my phone." Vic snaps alerting the Kraangdroids.
"Stop the one that needs to be stopped." Kraang said as they fired lasers at them.
"Either of you wanna share why we have to rescue him?" Donnie asks.
"Because that's what heroes do." Robin said.
"Even when it's someone like him?" Gio asks.
"Unfortunately." Artemis cringed.
Drawing their lasers the Kraang droids fired at them forcing them to leap out of the way.
Jumping behind some boxes, Artemis drew her bow when Gio took out some shuriken.
Leaping up both fired their weapons and the shuriken hits the Kraangdroid in the head causing it to stagger back allowing Artemis' arrow to fly into the laser.
Recovering the Kraangdroid tried to fire but the arrow blocked the fire causing to explode.
Pausing Gio and Artemis look to each other.
"I'll go for the laser; you go for the robot?" Artemis suggests.
"Works for me." Gio said as they both sprang into action.
As Robin was dodging fire, Leo slashes it with one of his swords before looking to him.
"Know how to use one of these?" Leo asks holding out his other sword.
"You've clearly never seen Batman in action." Robin said borrowing it.
Leaping in Robin slashes the arm off before Leo slices the head off a droid.
"Well I underestimated you guys." Leo said.
"Then I suggest you just estimate." Robin smirks.
Looking around Vic saw his phone on the ground and wheeled towards it when Mikey ended up kicking it by the mutagen tank.
Rolling over Vic falls and grabs his phone right as a spider crawls over to it.
"Got it!" Vic smiles when a laser hit the mutagen canister above him causing Vic to scream as it pours all over him getting everyone's attention.
"Kraang, go look at the place where the thing that makes the noise is, and tell us what thing makes that noise in that place." A Kraangdroid orders.
As the Kraangdroid walks over something sends it flying backwards causing the Kraang inside to run away screaming.
"I don't like the sound of that." Mikey said when leaping out of the shadows Vic had turned into a large black spider creature with its legs on his head.
"I don't like the look of it either." Robin said.
"What did you do to me? I'm hideous." Vic said.
"If you ask me it's an improvement." Gio said causing Artemis to snicker.
"It kind of is." She agrees.
"We can handle him." Leo said.
"This is your fault. I'm gonna rip your heads off." Vic growls.
"Alright, guys, prepare to dish out the mighty wrath of justice." Leo said causing everyone to groan.
"Dude no hero ever says something as cheesy as that." Robin said.
"Just say get him." Donnie said.
Charging in Leo, Donnie and Mikey attack but thanks to his extra legs Vic was able to fight them off.
Moving in Gio whacks Vic in the chest but he takes the attack and swats Gio away.
Swinging his sword, Robin attacks but Vic blocks with his leg.
"Oh no you don't!" Vic said knocking him to the ground.
"Is that all you got?" Mikey asks when Vic spits something yellow at them.
Jumping back they see it melt a hole in the floor.
"The answer I was looking for is yes." Mikey cringed as Vic runs around them spitting acid causing them all to fall to a lower level.
"Oh man Spider Bytez has us on the ropes." Mikey said.
"Spider Bytez?" Gio asks getting up.
"Well, he's a spider, and he bites, so I thought—" Mikey starts.
"Alright we get it." Leo said as Spider Bytez attacks Robin and Artemis.
Acting quick Robin pulls out a grapple gun and fires swinging out of the way.
Pulling out an arrow, Artemis fires causing it to explode upon contact.
But from the smoke Spider Bytez comes out unscathed.
"Not gonna work." He grins before leaping in.
Reaching into his vest, Gio throws out caltrops causing Spider Bytez to scream in pain upon contact.
"You should really watch your step." Gio smirks.
Growling Spider Bytez swings his legs knocking Gio into some crates.
Rushing over Leo helps him up only to see Spider Bytez heading towards them.
"Wow I didn't think he could get any uglier. Did you?" Looking up they saw Raph and Superboy looking down at them.
"Not at all." Superboy smiles.
"Raph." The turtles smiles.
"About time you guys showed up." Artemis smiles.
"Get down here and squash this thing." Gio said.
"Hey, it's the kung fu frog with the salad tongs. And Superwannabe." Spider Bytez mocks.
"Hey, it's the stupid loudmouth who's about to get his butt kicked." Raph said as he and Superboy leap in.
Standing across from him, Superboy and Raph were ready to fight.
"Aw what's a matter is the Superbrat and little froggy too scared to come get me? Scared I'll knock the warts off you?" Spider Bytez mocks.
Pausing both of them took a deep breath.
"Remember what Splinter said." Raph said.
"Like a river over stone." Superboy said before both smile.
Charging in Spider bytes flings his stingers at them but Raph dodges allowing Superboy to grab it and slam Spider bytez to the ground before Raph leaps in and kicks him in the face.
He was about to get up when an arrow flew and discs flew in exploding on contact knocking Spider bytez back some more.
"That's some moves wannabes." Spider Bytez said as they were joined by the other members of their team.
"We're not wannabes." Superboy said.
"We're Ninjas and heroes." Raph grins.
"Ninjaheroes!" Mikey declares as they charged in.
Readying his tonfas, Gio charges in as Spider Bytez swings his legs at them only for Gio to sidestep and grab them allowing Artemis to run along it and whack him on the head with her bow before leaping back as Mikey and Donnie whack him backwards.
Getting up Spider Bytez looks to see his phone was on the ground in front of Gio who smashes it under his foot.
"NO!" He yells about to counter attack but Robin throws a smoke bomb down causing him to miss.
Using this chance, the turtles, Artemis and Robin grab his stingers trapping him.
"Hey let me go!" Spider Bytez yells when Superboy charges in and punches him sending the giant spider flying through the wall.
Racing outside they look to see Spider Bytez running away.
"Should we follow him?" Mikey asks.
"Nah, he's not gonna be messing with us anytime soon." Gio smirks.
"Maybe he'll meet a nice black widow." Robin smirks.
"Hey uh sorry about earlier. I was kind of a jerk." Superboy said.
"Yeah right back at ya." Raph said.
"I could get used to working with you guys." Superboy smiles as he and Raph shook hands.
"So does this mean we're part of your team now?" Leo asks.
"Yep and despite our rocky start I think you guys will be a great help." Robin smiles.
"Think you can handle doing what we do?" Gio asks looking to Artemis.
"You just try and keep up." Artemis smirks.
