Chapter 3: Going back

Garmadon's POV

My son was dead and it was all my fault. If I had saved him, if I had been quick enough to catch him then-

But I was too late. That monster of a King had grabbed him, choked him, and dropped him down a mountain. I lit a candle and placed it on Lloyd memorial.

I was too upset to even state what had happened.

I never want to go to that horrid realm again, I never want to see that peak.

"Brother!" Wu shouts from behind me. I turn around and give him a look.

"Can you not see I am mourning? Leave me be."

"You don't have to mourn, Lloyd is alive!"

"What?!" I shriek with joy, dropping the match. Wu panics and stamps on the match.

"I had a vision! Father spoke to me! He is alive!" I smile as big as I can and hug him.

"Then what are we waiting for?! Let's go get him!"

Nya's POV

I packed my things as quick as I could. My alarm went off. 4am. I grabbed my boots and put them on, swinging my backpack over my back at the same time. We all meet out in the monastery courtyard.

"Skylor, you're coming too?"

"Yeah, you guys need the extra help from what Kai told me. DragonEcho is a dangerous place." I look to Misako and Garmadon.

"I don't even need to ask why you're here, huh?"

"He is our son." Misako replies.

"I'm not going to let him be punished anymore. We're going to rescue him, one way or another." I nod and turn to Harumi.

"Please let me come, I know I've done bad things but-"

"Save it. You're coming with us." She blinks in confusion. "But if you try anything-"

"I promise I won't even think about it." She smiles. "Thank you."

I glance around the courtyard.

"Where's Jay and Kai?"

"Inside." Grunts Garmadon, crossing his arms.

"I'll be back in a minute." I mumble opening the door.

"Kai? Jay? Are you guys packed?"

"Coming!" Shouts Jay. I wait for Kai to respond.

"Kai? Are you ready?" There was no response. "Kai if this is another prank I swear-" I walk into his room and see him on the floor, unconscious.

"Kai!" I scream. "What happened?" I flip his head around, finding a trace of blood at my fingertips.

"Master Wu! Jay! Anyone!"
