Chapter 137: Bubble Trouble
Weirdmageddon Day One
Running through the woods was a group consisting of Camila, Abigail, Nora, Clara, Masha, and Gus. They had managed to escape town, although they knew that the chaos would catch up to them eventually.
"Hurry," Abigail whispered as she led the group through the woods.
"What do we do now, mom?" Clara whispered to her mother, her voice frightened.
Abigail just sighed. "We can't stay in the open. We have to find shelter. Somewhere to hide."
Camila looked back at Nora and Gus P, the two still look devastated. She sighed as well. "Yes. Shelter sounds like a good idea. But where can we go?" she asked, looking uncertain. "Is there anywhere left that's safe?"
"How about the Mystery Shack?" Masha suggested. "Remember when Ford sent us on a quest to obtain unicorn hair? He said he needed it for defenses for the Mystery Shack. Like to create some magical force field. It should be up now."
"Yeah," Clara said, remembering it. "The Shack is probably the safest place in town right now."
Abigail nodded. "That is a good idea, Masha," she said while looking around to get a reading of where they were in relation to the Mystery Shack. She changed her direction. "Come on, everyone. We're going to the Mystery Shack."
The group changed their course and followed Abigail through the woods, everyone staying on guard. Camila kept looking back at the silent Gus P. and Nora, concerned for both of them. She knew how awful it must be for Nora, to see her son taken in front of her like that. As for Gus… she couldn't help but feel bad for the boy. Especially since he just got his dad back…
"Wait," Abigail said as she raised her hand up, stopping the group. "Look."
Everyone looked up ahead and saw something in front of their path… a red spotlight that was sweeping through the woods.
"Hide!" Abigail whispered, getting everyone to hide behind the trees. Clara and Masha hid together near Abigail, Camila hid behind one tree, and Nora and Gus hid behind another. They stayed silently, watching in dread as the spotlight swept through the woods, getting closer and closer to them…
Nobody dared to make a sneeze or a sound as the spotlight swept past their hiding places. For a moment, it suddenly stopped and everyone tensed up for a moment… but then the spotlight continued to move past them.
As the spotlight moved on, everyone looked relieved. Camila gave a sigh… until the red spotlight suddenly dropped on her. Her eyes widened as the tree she was hiding behind was suddenly pulled from the ground and she was lifted up in the air, much to the shock of everyone else. "AAHH!"
"Camila!" everyone shouted.
"Everyone, keep down," Abigail ordered while rushing over to try to save Camila. "Hang on!"
"Gail, wait!" Camila warned as Abigail was lifted up in the air as well while trying to grab hold of Camila's legs. As they both floated in the air, they looked up at the spotlight and saw that it was being projected from an eye. But not just any eye… Bill's eye.
"I found you!" Bill declared while levitating both moms in the air.
Both Camila and Abigail tried to move, but their bodies were suspended helplessly in the air from Bill's power. "Let us go!" Camila demanded.
"I suggest getting into a comfortable position that you don't mind being stuck in, cause I'm about to add you two to my statue collection-" Bill paused as his eye focused on Camila, which creeped her out. "Say… do I know you, Glasses?"
"What…?" Camila asked in confusion as the giant Bill got closer.
"Leave her alone!" Abigail shouted at him.
"Oh, of course! You're Lizard-Bat's mom!" Bill snapped his fingers in realization, his eye showing the glasses symbol. His tone suddenly became more friendly. "Oh boy, how I've been waiting a long time to finally meet you! Your daughter has told me a lot about you, Glasses."
"Please, just… let us go," Camila told him, praying that Bill didn't know that Nora and the kids were also hiding nearby.
"Oh, why would I do that? I think you and I would have a lot to talk about!" Bill told her before feeling spit hit his eye. "Ow! What the heck?!"
"Leave Camila alone, you bastard!" Abigail snarled at him while struggling in the air.
Bill looked over at Abigail, his expression initially angry… before he recognized her. "Say, I know you as well. You're a Gates!"
"You… know my family?" Abigail asked in shock.
"Of course! I know all about the Gates family and their life's mission," Bill commented. "It's just my day, you know? I get to meet Lizard-Bat's mom and a member of a family of famous witch hunters. Am I a lucky triangle or what?"
Camila didn't know how to react, both confused and terrified by Bill. She didn't want to risk angering him in any way, nor did she want to imagine what he was going to do to them. "You're… not going to hurt us… are you?" she asked in fear.
"Whaat? No way, why would I?" Bill asked her. "I see no reason to harm you, Glasses. After all, a friend or relative of Lizard-Bat's a friend of mine! Besides, I feel real nice every now and then, and since my friend did me a favor earlier when I needed it, I'm going to do her a favor and take care of her mom…"
Camila and Abigail did not like the sound of that at all. "If you lay a finger on her, I swear to fucking god-!" Abigail hissed.
"Oh would you relax, I said I won't harm her, and I am a triangle of my word," Bill said as he snapped his fingers, a bubble forming above him. "Alley-oop!"
"AAAH!" Camila and Abigail screamed as they were shot up into the bubble, which flashed brightly.
"You're welcome," Bill responded before he hovered away while laughing, leaving the bubble with the glasses symbol on it.
Once Bill was gone, Gus dropped the invisibility spell he was using to hide with the others. He along with Nora, Clara, and Masha looked up at the bubble above them.
"Mom…" Clara covered her mouth while shaking. Masha went to comfort her.
"Camila…" Gus P. whispered, also shaken by what just happened to the two. "No… what… what are we going to do?" he asked.
Nora looked up at the bubble. Like the rest of them, she couldn't believe what had just happened. But as she looked back at the kids, she knew that she had to take charge.
"We continue heading for the Mystery Shack as planned," she told them, causing the kids to turn to her.
"But what about-" Clara started to ask.
"We can come back for them," Nora explained. "But right now, we can't stay here."
Clara opened her mouth to argue, but realized that Nora was right. As did the rest of the kids. Without any further argument, they continued on their way to the Mystery Shack, looking back one more time at the bubble holding both Abigail and Camila.
They would be back.
One Day Later…
Below Camila's bubble was a clearing. The Eye-Bats didn't go around that area, since no one was around there… or at least, nobody they could see, thanks to an illusion covering the clearing.
The one who had conjured the illusion field was none other than Gus Porter, now donning a pair of goggles above his head. He was wearing a brown coat with his current clothes from yesterday in addition to brown boots and black fingerless gloves.
"How long do you think that'll last?" Masha asked while wearing a bandanna, a black top, camouflage baggy pants and boots. She was holding some tools and parts.
"With how powerful my spells are, I'd give it a few hours," Gus said. "Did you and Clara get what we need?"
"Right here, Gus," Clara responded while wearing goggles, an air-flight suit with a scarf, black boots, and gloves. She walked towards them… with Frankenstein's Creature besides her.
"Alright, is everyone-" Nora paused after seeing the Creature. She was wearing just a white tank top with green gloves, a helmet, and bandages wrapped around her left arm. Her left pant leg was torn above the knee and she was also wearing hiker brown boots and had a bandage wrapped around her shin. "Sorry, Clara, sometimes, I keep forgetting that your big friend here is with us."
The Creature groaned at this, but Clara patted his arm. "She doesn't mean any offense, Rocky. She's still getting used to you."
"Shhk-Niner-niner, come in, Blue Team."
Hearing Vee's voice from a walkie-talkie, Masha held it up. "This is Blue Team, responding to V-Squad, over. What's your status, over."
Inside the Mystery Shack, Vee and Blubs were with a ham radio.
"This is V-Squad responding to Blue Team," Vee responded while in her Basilisk form. "We've still been trying to get a signal to the outside of Gravity Falls. So far, no luck. Over."
"Not even McSkirmish could help us, even if he is made out of pixels," Blubs pointed out as Rumble McSkirmish was seen at the background with his head down.
"I was not programmed for wi-fi!" McSkirmish declared sadly.
"We think that Bill's weirdness could be affecting the signal," Vee indicated. "So right now, we're on radio silence…"
Back to Gus's group, the Blue Team, they were starting to make some preparations.
"So it looks like we're still cut off from the outside world," Masha said while looking down sadly.
"If only Ford was here, he'd know what to do about all of this," Nora said while looking at Gus P. "Hey, um, Gus Porter, or Mr. Porter…"
"Call me G-Man," Gus responded. "Luz nicknamed me that."
"Well, G-Man," Nora responded while looking at him in concern. "How… are you holding up right now?"
Gus sighed. "In all honesty, I just want my dad back," he said while looking up the bubble. "But right now, we need to save Camila and Abigail. That has to be our priority." He turned to Nora. "And then we'll find a way to save my dad, and your son, Mrs. Gordon."
Nora gave him a nod and a smile. "Thank you."
"Alright, is everyone ready? Then step on the platform," Gus said as he along with Nora, Clara, and Masha stepped on the platform they set up. "Rocky, you stay here, keep watch, and be ready for us when we get out."
"Rokay," Rocky nodded.
"Now then," Gus drew a spell circle on the platform beneath them "Hang on, everyone… levitation spell!" he declared, straining himself as he levitated the platform up to Camila's bubble…
"Hang on, mom, Camila," Clara said with a determined look as they moved up toward the bubble.
Meanwhile, the Fearamid continued to float over the town. Passing by was the helicopter with a face, still screaming.
"THIS IS NO WAY TO LIVE!" the faced-copter screamed while flying around in the mist of the chaos.
Inside the Fearamid, Bill's Henchmaniacs continued to rave and party… all except for Bill. Instead of being in the party mood, the triangular demon was… spacing out.
His eyes just stared into space, occasionally glitching out. He found himself being taken back… taken back to more than one billion years ago.
A young Bill Cipher was in his home dimension hugging a blue triangle that looked older than him. The two seemed to be close.
"Sixty degrees that comes in threes, watches from within birch trees."
Glitch
Bill stood on trial surrounded by other shapes with eyes. The three-eyed trapezoid judge hammered his gavel, sentencing Bill to be banished.
"Saw his own dimension burn. Misses home and can't return."
Glitch
Suddenly, his home dimension was on fire. All around Bill were piles and piles of broken shapes. And Bill knew that it was his doing…
"Says he's happy. He's a liar. Blame the arson for the fire."
Glitch
Bill found himself in another dimension, one that was a strangely glittering and mysterious white void. He looked up and saw that in front of him was a giant pink… Axolotl. The Axolotl smiled warmly and summoned a beanbag chair for Bill to sit on. Bill did so and found it infinitely comfortable.
"If he wants to shirk the blame, he'll have to invoke my name."
Glitch
Now, Bill found himself in front of someone else. He was on his knees before the foot of a throne, its occupant towering over him. Bill looked up at the dark figure and saw a pair of eyes being cast down upon him. The eyes were slit-like, glowing yellow, and pupiless. The being smiled at the triangle, but unlike the Axolotl it was not a warm smile.
It was a cruel one.
"One way to absolve his crime. A different form, a different time…"
"Bah!" Bill blinked, shaking his head. "Oh man…"
"Boss, are you alright?" asked Hectorgon.
"Yeah, you were spacing out over there," spoke Paci-Fire, a dark gray infant-like demon with two-large horns, a cross marking and a pacifier on its stomach, which concealed a second face.
"Huh? Oh it's just nothing, really. Probably just that chaos-hooka I smoked out of," Bill said, waving it off.
"Well, now that you're back, we wanted to let you know that we've finished your throne!" Pyronica declared.
"Really? Great!" Bill declared as he picked up the golden Ford statue and used a fork to tap it to get everyone's attention. "Attention all! Ladies, gentlemen, that creature with like eighty-seven different faces."
"Eighty-eight different faces!" corrected the Creature with Eighty-Eight Different Faces.
"Whoa-ho, sorry… touchy subject," Bill said, sounding awkward. "Anyways, it's been fun turning Gravity Falls inside out, rounding up all its terrified citizens and then stacking them into this massive throne of frozen human agony!" He sat on his throne, which was made up of the stone bodies of Gravity Falls's denizens. "Don't worry, they're not conscious anymore. Probably. But Gravity Falls is just the beginning. It's time to take our chaos worldwide!" he declared while all of his Henchmaniacs cheered to this. Bill opened a portal on the side of the Fearamid. "Alright boys, to the corners of the Earth. Set the world aflame with your weirdness! This dimension is ours!"
The Henchmaniacs exited the Fearamid, flying toward the edges of town to spread their chaos. Bill watched this with glee while thinking out loud. "Ah world domination, I could get used to…" But before the demons could leave town, they collided with the barrier and fell to the ground. "WHAT?!"
Bill went up to investigate, poking at the shield that his friends had hit. Looking around, he realized that the town was covered in a barrier that contained the rift and Bill's chaos. "Hmm… this might be more complicated than I thought…"
"I think I broke something…" Paci-Fire groaned.
"Walk it off!" Bill shouted at his henchman.
Just outside of the bubble, the civilian camp was still buzzing with activity. Some new survivors were brought over to join the rest while soldiers passed out supplies and medics treated injuries.
"Reginald, will you be okay?" asked Rosanna, holding her fiance's hand.
"I'll be fine, my Rosanna," Reginald responded.
Two brown-haired and freckle-cheeked siblings that had a striking resemblance to the Pines twins tried to make a more optimistic outlook.
"Gee, we sure made it out of there alive, huh Shmipper?" asked the sister.
"You said it, Smabble," the brother respond.
But crying in one tent was a young woman with asymmetrical bobcut brown hair with an undercut on the back and pale-yellow eyes with slit-like pupils. She wore a gray shirt with black pants and white shoes and was holding up her bandaged arm. She couldn't stop crying as she laid on her cot. This concerned one soldier.
"Hey, are you alright, ma'am?" he asked her.
"What does it look like?!" she shouted at him before calming herself down. "I… I'm sorry, it's just… I lost someone in there…"
"You are one of the new arrivals, right? Can you tell me your name?" the soldier asked while removing his helmet.
"My… my name is… Rachel Jones," she answered as she sniffed. "I recently moved here to take care of my grandfather. He was a retired reverend," she explained as tears streamed from her eyes. "But… but he didn't make it. He got killed in there!" she said as she cried while the soldier patted her shoulder in comfort.
"I'm sorry, Ms. Jones," he responded sincerely. "You have my condolences."
Another civilian resembled Soos but with darker and longer hair and more facial hair. He wore a black t-shirt with an image of a winged skull under a sash that read 'Love', an earring, a blue jacket with cutoff sleeves, and an upturned collar.
"I was just in town to visit my cousin and then this happened?!" shouted Reggie, Soos's cousin. "What the heck happened, man?!"
"Calm down, sir, we have the situation under control," Agent Spike said before walking into another tent to meet with his fellow agents. Agent Li looked at her partner. "Okay, what's the status of Powers, Trigger, and D-Squad?"
"We still haven't heard anything from Powers and Trigger," Agent Li responded, showing concern. "We don't know if it's because of the signal being messed with…"
"Or something happened to them," spoke up another agent.
Li didn't want to assume the worst, while Spike just looked down. "I… don't want to think… especially with Mabel," Li said
"I know," Spike responded, sighing.
"This is just terrific," another agent with brown hair said sarcastically. "Our superiors are trapped in there all because of some freakin' prophecy that a crackpot believed in."
"I know, but we were willing to try anything to stop Bill Cipher and his demons from spreading to the rest of the planet," Spike said. He hesitated before continuing. "We may have to consider other options…"
"We should try again to get in contact with that Dragon Council, see if they can send their magic buddies to help," Li suggested. "Fight magic with magic."
"Magic is what got us here in the first place, Agent Li," the brown haired agent spoke. "It can't be trusted."
"Well, what do you suggest, Agent Brown?" Li questioned him.
"Now I know not everyone will be in favor of this, but perhaps we could use… the Satellite," Brown suggested.
"The Satellite?!" Li exclaimed, shocked by the mere suggestion.
"Well, we can't use the nuclear option, not on American soil," Brown said. "But the Satellite will wipe this town off the map, along with Cipher and his demons. Problem solved."
"But there are still people in there, Brown!" Li pointed out. "Plus, there's no guarantee that the satellite will kill Bill Cipher!"
"And we need a clearance from the President for the use of the Satellite," Spike said. "If there are other options…"
"Sir," spoke up an agent who was at the monitors. "You may want to look at this."
The agents looked at the screen and saw Bill tapping on the barrier after his friends tried to get out. They saw him look irritated at this before floating back to his Fearamid.
"This is bad…" Spike said with concern.
"Unless we really want to be taken over by a demonic nacho chip, we should consider drastic measures," Brown suggested. "In order to save billions of lives… we may have no choice but to sacrifice the few."
Spike and Li looked at each other, thinking about Mabel. They didn't know how to tell her parents that their daughter could potentially be sacrificed. They… didn't want to have this be all for nothing…
"I don't like this at all," Li said, crossing her arms. "There has to be another way."
"Well, I hope you got better suggestions," Brown said. "Because it looks like this situation is only going to get worse from here…"
However, overhearing their conversation was another agent, who excused himself from the tent. Once he was sure that he was alone with nobody around to listen in, he held up a secret communication device and spoke into it.
"This is Enoch," he said. "I'd like to speak with Director Gates…"
Meanwhile, in Dipper's bubble, a group consisting of Mabel, Stan, Soos, Wendy, Paz, Candy, and Waddles found themselves in a white void.
"Dipper!" Mabel called out before turning to the others. "Okay, guys, Bill has taken over this town and if his weirdness spreads, he's going to take over the whole world. Our first step to stopping him is rescuing Dipper, and then Camila. But Bill got them both trapped in this weird prison bubble."
"What is this place anyway?" Wendy asked while holding her ax.
"Hopefully not as bad as outside," Paz responded before their surroundings started to change.
"Look!" Candy shouted as she pointed at the environment around them. The white void was slowly being replaced by something else fading in.
"I don't like the looks of this," Stan said.
"Then we better prepare ourselves, dudes," Soos said. "Who knows what diabolical setting Bill has trapped Dipper in…"
Like a loading video game graphic, the new environment eventually faded in completely and the group gasped when they realized where they were at.
"Gravity Falls?" Candy asked as she and the others found themselves in the familiar town. Except… the buildings were undamaged, the skies were clear, and there were no flying eye-bats or tentacles around. It was as it had been before Weirdmageddon.
They looked around and saw some familiar townspeople walking by, including Sprott, the pizza guy, and even Tyler Cutebiker.
"Morning, folks!" Tyler shouted as he waved to them.
"Tyler?" Wendy asked before she spotted Lazy Susan passing by. "Lazy Susan?"
"I'm officially creeped out by this," Stan said while seeing Tats walking by, as well as Blubs and Durland writing parking tickets until they got hit by water balloons.
"What the-?!" Blubs shouted as he looked up, seeing someone on a rooftop. "You again, Luz?!"
"Luz?!" the group asked as they heard Luz's maniacal laughter. They looked up and it was indeed Luz, back in her long hair and green jacket look.
"Haha! Try to catch me, officers!" Luz laughed as she spotted Mabel and the others. "Hey guys, how's it going?" Luz asked before running from Blubs and Durland.
"Come back here!" Blubs shouted as he and Durland chased after her. They turned into an alleyway, only to find themselves surrounded by other kids of Gravity Falls, who pelted the two cops with water balloons.
"Ah! I've been hit!" Durland cried out while getting hit by water balloons.
"Durland! NOOO!" Blubs cried as he held onto Durland. "You'll pay for this, Luz!"
"Haha! I bribed these kids for this!" Luz declared as she climbed down from the building while the rest of the children cheered for Luz.
"Man, I forgot how Luz used to mess with Blubs and Durland," Wendy commented.
"Is this what Luz did whenever she visited?" Mabel asked while everyone nodded.
"You should've seen what she did during last year's Pioneer Day," Stan commented, smiling at the memory.
"But… it's not really Luz, is it?" Mabel asked while looking around at the town. "What exactly is this place?"
"Maybe it's a recreation of the town and its residents based on Dipper's memories," Candy suggested. "Which could be why that Luz has her old hair and jacket. Because she is based on an older version of Luz."
"Say, do you think she can tell us where Dipper could be?" Paz suggested.
"It would be worth a shot, Paz," Mabel said before she shouted. "Luz! Wanna talk?"
"Hmm? Oh, what did you guys need?" Luz asked them as she came over. "If it has anything to do with rebelling against authority and disrupting the status quo, I'm your gal."
"Well, can you tell us where Dipper is?" Mabel asked her.
"Why do you need to ask that?" Luz asked them with a laugh. "He's over at the Mystery Shack, of course. He's always hanging out there. Want me to take you there?"
"No, we're good, dude," Soos told her.
"Alrighty, then," Luz replied cheerfully. "Now if you excuse me, I got some fireworks to set off. Do-do-do…" She hummed to herself as she started to walk away.
"I don't know about you guys, but that version of Luz felt… off-putting," Mabel said.
"Yeah, like we just got introduced to a cheap-knock off," Paz agreed.
"Well, we are in something Bill made, even if it is based on Dipper's memories," Candy explained. "And if this place is supposed to be a recreation of the town and Luz knew us, that means we may have bubble doppelgangers as well…"
As they headed for the Mystery Shack, the Luz clone turned her head to watch the group. Her eyes narrowed…
Meanwhile, at Camila's bubble, the group consisting of Gus, Nora, Clara and Masha were working on getting into the bubble. Masha used some picks to try to open the lock.
"Almost got it…" Masha said before managing to unlock the lock, causing the chains to fall down. "Got it!"
Rocky the Creature managed to move out of the way as the chains fell down. Clara saw this. "Sorry, Rocky!" she apologized before turning back to the bubble. "Okay, is everyone ready?"
Everyone nodded in confirmation.
"Alright, let's go in," Nora said before she and the kids entered the bubble, causing a bright flash of light.
Inside the bubble, they found themselves in a white void. They looked around cautiously.
"Mom! Camila! Where are you two?!" Clara called out for them.
"This is weird," Masha said while looking around. "I was thinking there would be more in here…"
"Wait, something is happening," Gus pointed out, noticing that something was fading in around them, replacing the white.
The group watched as the void around them began to be filled with streets and buildings. To Gus, it meant nothing. But to Clara, Masha, and Nora, the environment that they were now in was very familiar to them.
"No way…" Masha said in shock.
"It can't be…" Clara spoke up.
"…What is this place?" Gus P. asked, looking around at the neighborhood around them.
"Gatesfield," Nora responded as the group found themselves standing in the center of the familiar Gatesfield town. "It's… just like how we left it."
"This is Gatesfield?" Gus asked, looking around at the buildings and the people going about their day. "Huh. It's a lot different than Gravity Falls."
"Well, it's more of a, well, gated community," Masha mentioned while turning to Clara. "No pun intended."
Clara was too busy staring at the statue of her ancestor and the familiar faces driving in their cars in the streets or walking by on the sidewalks. "It's eerie to see this place again… after learning the dark truth about it."
"So this is the place where you guys saved Willow," Gus said while looking around, seeing the billboards, "The most perfect town in the US?"
"Yeah, I'd take it from a grain of salt," Masha advised him. "This town isn't all that perfect or… welcoming if you don't get with the program." She spots the blonde barista setting up shop. "Least there are some nice folks here, like Carrie, who works at that coffee shop."
"Ech, even that Hopkreep is here," Clara said as she pointed at a normal-looking Jacob Hopkins sweeping the floor outside the GHS building.
"Hopkreep?" Gus asked.
"Jacob Hopkins, some local conspiracy nut who works at the Gatesfield Historical Society museum. He is a Department A stooge who helped to keep Willow prisoner here," Masha explained to him.
"What?!" Gus exclaimed in shock. "He trapped Willow? She never mentioned him before…"
"She didn't tell you?" Clara asked in confusion.
"All she mentioned was you guys saving her when she got trapped in this town," Gus said, now looking concerned.
Masha and Clara looked at each other before Masha spoke up. "To be honest, when we found her, she was drugged and out cold," she admitted to a shocked Gus. "She might not be comfortable talking about it, which is why she never told you."
"Yeah, maybe you could ask her about it after all this, but if she doesn't want to talk about it, you should probably drop it," Clara suggested.
"Yeah, I'll make a note of it," Gus said, though he still felt worried for Willow and the fact that she had been keeping this to herself the entire time.
"Wait," Clara paused, thinking things over. "If we're in Gatesfield, then wouldn't my mom be at our house?"
"It would be worth checking," Nora agreed. "Perhaps Camila is with her."
"Then our next stop is the Gates home!" Masha declared. "Show us the way, girlfriend!"
Clara nodded. "Come on, it's this way-" But before they could move on, someone else stepped in front of them.
"Hi guys!" shouted the familiar voice… of Luz.
"Luz?!" Gus and Clara asked in shock, but after getting a better look, they realized that this Luz looked a bit… different. Her hair was a lot shorter with blue hair clips and she wore a blue jacket over her purple and white top, blue jean shorts with blue leggings, and white flat shoes. Her fang was also missing.
"Luz… is that… you?" Clara asked in confusion.
"Of course it's me, Clara," Luz responded cheerfully. "Luz? Luz Noceda? Your godsister? We grew up together!"
"We… did?" Clara asked her.
"I don't think that's our Luz…" Gus whispered as Luz turned to him.
"Gus! Gustav! The Gusinator!" Luz shouted as she pointed to him. "So glad to see you! Ooh, and you got dreads, nice!"
"Okay, I am officially creeped out," Masha said as Nora stepped in.
"Hey, um, Luz," Nora said to her. "Um, could you show us where your mom and Abigail are?"
"Oh, yeah, I can take you guys to them," 'Luz' responded. "Funny enough, I was just running an errand, but if you guys need them for anything, I'm your gal!"
And so, the four followed 'Gatesfield-Luz' to where Camila and Abigail were…
Meanwhile, in Dipper's bubble, Mabel's group found themselves in front of the Mystery Shack. The old Mystery Shack looked just as it did before it was shut down.
"Oh man, the old Mystery Shack." Stan said with a heavy sigh. "I have really missed this place, even if this is not real. But it is real to me."
"We've had a lot of good times there," Soos said with a sigh. "Oh how I've missed this place…"
"Yeah, the music store isn't as fun as working here," Wendy admitted, smiling when she saw the Shack. "Cause it didn't have you guys."
"Yeah," Mabel agreed, smiling when she saw the old Shack again. She knelt down to pat Waddles. "A lot of good memories there, before the whole thing with Department A and the portal."
"Come on, Dipper! Let's go on another adventure!"
Everyone paused, hearing another voice coming from the Mystery Shack. But it wasn't just any voice… it sounded like Mabel's voice…
"Look!" Candy shouted as she pointed at someone coming out of the Mystery Shack. It was Mabel herself. This Mabel was wearing a blue vest and strawberry sweater. They saw this… Mabel duplicate pull someone out of the Shack… someone they had been looking for…
"I think I spotted a gremoblin down in the forest!" Bubble Mabel shouted while pulling out Dipper along with her. "If we can catch it, we could prove to Stan that we can bring in better attractions than he could!"
"Hehe, yeah, whatever you say, Mabel," Dipper said with a fake smile.
"What the-?!" Mabel asked in shock as she saw Dipper with another Mabel.
"Hey, it's Dipper! With another Mabel!" Soos pointed out.
"Yeah, we can all see that, Soos," Wendy said before Mabel rushed toward the Shack and her brother.
"Dipper, over here!" Mabel shouted, causing Dipper and Bubble Mabel to turn to see Mabel and the others. "It's me, the real Mabel! Your sister!"
"Hey, is that me over there?" the fake Mabel asked, pointing at the real one.
"What…?" Dipper asked as he looked at the real Mabel, who was definitely more beaten up looking than her bubble counterpart. He looked shocked… and began to panic. "No… not another one!"
"Another one?" Mabel asked him. "Dipper, what are you talking about, it's me."
"No, you're not!" Dipper shouted at her. "You're just another trick from Bill!"
"What? No I'm not, Mason," Mabel told him. "It's really me, and I came here to get you. Look, even Stan's here." She pointed to Stan as he came over with Wendy, Paz, Candy, Soos, and Waddles. All of them with dirt, scrapes, and bruises on them.
"Yeah, son, it's me," Stan said, trying to reassure him. "Your old man's here."
"No… nononono, none of this is real!" Dipper exclaimed in a panic.
"Dude, what are you talking about?" Wendy asked.
"Yeah, why are you so in denial?" Paz asked him.
"Because all of this is made by Bill, and there's no way any of you are real," Dipper told them all while shaking his head. "Just like how any of this isn't real. This is all just an elaborate scheme that Bill has set up to give me false hope."
"But we are real, Dipper," Candy told him with a worried expression. "You have no idea what we went through to get to you."
"Yeah, even teamed up with some super-villains, including a golf-themed one," Stan mentioned while Dipper just gave him a blank look.
"Do you really expect me to believe that?" Dipper asked. "I mean, Stan's supposed to still be in prison, and Mabel, you were taken away. There is no way your parents would allow you to come all the way up here and there is no way that Agents would allow Stan to go free just so he could come and get me. So it can't be you two. And seeing the rest of you guys only reinforces this."
"Dips, it's really us, man," Wendy told him. "I mean, who was it that defended you from those bullies back in school other than Luz?"
"Yeah, and I helped you give evidence to put my dad away and not get him elected, although we didn't end up using it," Paz said.
"And I'm your girlfriend, you asked me out while we were at Mystery Mountain," Candy reminded him.
"Wait a second!" the fake Mabel spoke up while looking at the others. "I think I know what's going on around here…"
"You… do?" Mabel asked her clone.
"Yeah… you guys are just more of those weird printer clones!" the fake Mabel pointed out.
"What?!" Mabel exclaimed, glaring at her clone. "Now hold on a second, you're the faker!"
"Uh yeah, I would know if I'm a fake, but I know that I'm Dipper's real sister, right bro?" fake Mabel asked while Dipper looked around in a panic.
"I… I…" Dipper felt overwhelmed at this, backing away before he headed back inside the Shack.
"Dipper!" Mabel called out to him, but he was already gone
"Mason, wait! Come back!" Stan shouted as they rushed toward the Shack before the fake Mabel blocked their path.
"Halt, copies!" the fake Mabel told them. "None of you are going anywhere!"
"Ugh, would you give it a rest already?!" Mabel told her copy off. "Look, you know that we're real, and Dipper knows that you're not. So why even put on the act anyway?"
The fake Mabel's expression changed, her smile twisting into something more… evil, something that disturbed Mabel and the others.
"Oh you guys may know that you're real… but Dipper doesn't," the fake Mabel replied while tilting her head. "No matter what you say, he's going to deny that you're real. And he'll keep denying it, while remaining in this bubble… forever! Bwahahahahahaha!"
Back in the fake Gatesfield, the 'Perfect Luz' led Gus and the others to the front of the Gates home.
"We're here!" Perfect-Luz announced.
"My home…" Clara said, sounding nostalgic. This was her home and even though it hadn't been that long since she had last seen it, it still felt like an eternity to her.
"So they are in there then?" Gus asked Perfect-Luz, who nodded and smiled.
Masha's nose took a whiff. "Say, something's cooking," she said. "Something good."
"Oh, they must've started the backyard barbecue already, perfect timing!" Perfect-Luz announced as she started to walk around the house to the backyard. "Come on, they're all waiting for us. Especially you, Clara."
They followed Perfect-Luz to the backyard where they saw a group of people having a cookout together. Clara froze, recognizing the people in the backyard.
"No… it can't be," she said, Masha noticing her reaction.
"Clara, what's wrong?" Masha asked, but before Clara could answer, their attention was shifted to the man that Perfect-Luz was approaching.
"Dad! We're home!" Perfect-Luz shouted as she waved to the bearded Dominican-American man, who turned to look at his daughter with a smile.
"Luz! Come here, my little ball of light!" Manny Noceda responded, giving Luz a hug.
"Whoa… is that…?" Gus P. asked in shock.
"Manny Noceda," Nora responded, recognizing the man who, like her husband Luke, lost his life in that portal explosion. Then she recognized the other people there… the Gates family.
"Nora, glad to see you," spoke Joseph Gates as he approached her. But rather than wearing a suit, he wore a blue button shirt, khaki pants, and sandals. "Me and my old man were just fixing up some burgers. Hey dad, how's the old meat coming?"
"Going good, Joey," said Isaac, Joseph and Abigail's father, and Clara's grandfather.
"Uncle Joseph?!" Clara exclaimed in shock as she stared at the uncle she never knew. Joseph noticed her.
"Ah, Clara, why do you look shocked?" he asked her with a smile. "Has it really been that long since you've seen your favorite uncle?"
"Hey, I thought I was the favorite uncle, Joe?" Manny asked him jokingly.
"You can't beat blood, Manny," Joseph responded as the two laughed.
"You two are such knuckleheads, I'm telling you," spoke the elder Gates woman, Clara's grandmother. "Isn't that right, Angel?"
"Angel?!" Gus exclaimed in horror before he bumped into someone behind him. He turned around and was shocked to see who it was.
"Hmm? Oh, sorry, I didn't see you there," said Angel, who was carrying some paper plates for the cookout. Unlike the current director of Department A, she did not have an artificial arm. In addition to having both of her arms, she was also wearing a blue sweater jacket with a pink shirt, blue jeans, and flat shoes. To say the least, she looked… normal.
"Oh, Aunt Angel," Perfect-Luz spoke up. "Have you met my friend, Gus? He's from the Demon Realm."
"Luz?!" Gus exclaimed in a panic.
"Oh, like where Eda came from?" Perfect-Angel asked, which confused Gus. "Oh yes, me and Eda go all the way back. I remember visiting there."
"You… you guys don't take issue with me being a witch?" Gus asked, looking around at the rest of the Gates family.
"Why would we, son?" Joseph asked them.
"Oh he's probably thinking that just because our family happens to be linked to some witch hunter from long ago, we're witch hunters as well," Grandpa Gates said.
"Uh yeah, that's why you run Department A, right?" Clara asked them.
"Department what?" Grandma Gates asked in confusion.
"Oh Clara, such imagination you have," said a female voice.
"Yeah, don't confuse your elders," said a male voice.
Hearing unfamiliar voices that she didn't recognize, Clara turned around and saw a pair of twins standing behind her. "Um, I'm sorry, who are you guys?"
"What do you mean, dear little sis?" asked the tall, tan-skinned girl with blonde hair tied in a bun. She had blue eyes and a beauty mark on her left cheek. She wore a black choker, a white t-shirt with a sun, sky, and cloud print pattern, a dark-brown hoodie tied around her waist, gray jeans, and black shoes. "It's us, Mary…"
"And Mosely," said the twin boy with the same tanned-skin and blue eyes, but his beauty mark was on his right cheek. He wore a green beanie and a light-brown hoodie with a gray shirt underneath. He also wore beige pants with black shoes. "Your cool, older twin siblings."
"WHAT?!" Clara exclaimed in shock. Masha and Nora also looked surprised and confused.
"Twin siblings?!" Nora exclaimed, her surprise quickly turning into concern.
"Huh, I didn't know Clara had siblings," Gus said.
"That's because she doesn't," Masha pointed out. "This… is weird."
"Yeah," Gus replied before getting a closer look at the twins. "They kinda seem familiar though…"
Clara looked even more confused. "W-Wait, what do you two mean you're my older twin siblings?" she asked them.
"Geez, sis, did you get hit in the head or something?" Mosely asked while rustling Clara's hair, causing Clara to push his hands away.
"Hey, knock it off!" Clara told him.
"Probably fell off her bike while she wasn't wearing a helmet… again," Mary said while noticing Nora. "Oh, hi superintendent Gordon. Hope you don't still have it out against us for that prank we pulled on the last day of school."
"Um… hi," Nora responded, still looking concerned about this. Concerned about all of this.
"Alright, this is a little… weirder than usual," Masha said as she stepped in, getting a better look at the twins.
"Hey, I see you brought your girlfriend here, Clara," Mosely mentioned, teasing their 'sister'.
"Yeah, you should ask her to come over for a sleepover sometimes," Mary suggested, making Clara blush.
"E-Enough!" Clara shouted while facing the two. "Look, do you two know where mom is? I'm looking for her right now."
"Oh yeah, mom's inside the house," Mosely said. "She had to step in on account of not feeling well."
"Yeah, she should be inside with Mrs. Noceda," Mary added.
"Alright, thank you, you two," Clara responded before she turned toward the house and led the others inside, leaving the perfect versions of the Gates and Noceda family to enjoy their cookout.
Inside the house, Clara and the group looked around and entered the living room, where they found who they were looking for… Camila sitting on the couch while Abigail was pacing.
"What do we do, what do we do, Camil…" Abigail said before noticing someone stepping into the room. She stopped pacing and Camila looked over to see Clara, Nora, Gus, and Masha as well. Both parties took a pause to look at each other. Abigail's eyes widened when she saw her daughter and what she was wearing.
"M-Mom," Clara said. "I can explain…"
But before she could, Abigail approached her… and embraced her.
"Clara," Abigail said, tears running from her eyes. "You're here!"
Clara teared up as well while hugging her mom. "Mom… I've missed you so much!" she said as the two hugged it out. "But… how do you know that it's really me and not some illusion?"
"Because I'm your mother and I know these things," Abigail said while looking at the others. "Nora, Masha…"
"Gus," Camila said as she got up and moved toward them. "Oh, it's so good to see you all here."
"Yeah, we've missed you, Camila!" Gus said, hugging her.
"We were so worried about you two," Nora said as she hugged Abigail once she released her daughter. "We would have come to rescue you sooner, but we had to hide out at the Mystery Shack with the others."
"Others?" Abigail asked them.
"Blubs, Vee, McSkirmish, that guy with the woodpecker wife," Masha listed off. "But we're glad to see that you two are alright."
Abigail then hugged Masha while Clara hugged Camila. "I'm just glad you kids are still safe," Abby said before frowning. "But… you shouldn't be here."
"I know coming here was a risk, but we couldn't leave you here," Clara said.
"Just what is this place anyway?" Nora asked them. "Like, why are Manny, Joseph, and your parents still alive here?"
Camila and Abigail looked at each other before Camila began to explain. "We weren't sure at first, but after spending some time here we think this world is supposed to be a fantasy bubble."
"Fantasy bubble?" Clara asked.
"Basically, Bill placed us in some kind of false reality that dug into our deepest desires and fantasies, making them real," Abigail clarified. "Or at least, real to us. You might call it our… perfect paradise. One that we can never leave."
"An illusion matrix," Gus indicated. "At least, the equivalent of it. I've read about that kind of spell. Puppeteers often use it to lure unsuspecting witches into traps."
"So we're dealing with a Black Mercy situation," Masha said.
"Exactly," Camila responded. "A reality where my late husband, Manny, is still alive…"
"Along with my brother and parents," Abby added. "But these versions of them, along with the Angel and Luz that you saw, aren't real. They're meant to be some kind of… perfect versions of them. A version of Angel that wasn't killed and revived, or a version of my family that didn't have anti-magic beliefs and weren't horrible people…"
"And a version of Luz who was raised by me and Manny," Camila said while looking down, feeling slightly guilty.
"But what about Mary and Mosely?" Clara asked. "My 'older siblings'? Why are they in this fantasy?"
Abigail looked almost panicked for a second, while Camila gave her a sad look before Abby replied "Um… well… I sometimes like to imagine you with siblings, Clara," she said nervously. "But me and your father never got around to making that a reality…"
However, Nora noticed both Abigail and Camila's looks. She noticed their eyes… and the sadness in them. It was just like the sadness she saw in Abigail's eyes earlier…
Meanwhile, at the fake Mystery Shack, the fake Mabel continued to evil laugh.
"Bwahahahahahahahahaha…..!" the fake Mabel laughed as she wiped away her sweat. "Phew, now that was a good, long, evil laugh."
"You're nothing but a cheap knock-off imitation of the real deal!" Mabel shouted while pointing at her fake counterpart.
"Yeah, yeah, I know that I'm not real…" the fake Mabel admitted before grinning at Mabel. "Because I'm… better!" She then snapped her fingers and a bunch of bubbles came down. When they popped, bubble versions of Stan, Paz, Candy, Wendy, and Soos were revealed. "Meet the better versions of you."
"Ah nuts, it's double bubble trouble!" Soos exclaimed.
"What makes you think you're better than us?!" Paz demanded to know.
"Oh, that's easy," the fake Mabel said while stepping forward to Mabel, pointing at her chest. "I'm the better version of you, because I will always be here for Dipper and would never allow myself to get taken away by our no-good parents!" she declared, making Mabel back away.
Fake Stan appeared at the real Stan's side. "And I'm the better Stan Pines," he said. "Because I never would jeopardize Dipper's safety by almost destroying the world with a portal all for some ungrateful brother and then getting arrested by the government as a result." He smirked at Stan.
"And we're better than you two, because we would never leave town on Dipper's birthday," the fake Candy told Candy, who looked down when she heard this.
"That's right, we're better BFFs to Dipper than you two are," the fake Pacifica said while Paz glared at her..
"And what about you two? Got something to say?" Wendy asked the fake Wendy and Soos.
"Actually… you two are pretty cool," the fake Wendy admitted.
"Yeah, Dipper doesn't really have any problem with either of you," the fake Soos admitted. "So I guess… we're useless?" he asked before he and fake Wendy disappeared.
"Leave those two to me," said the fake Luz, who walked over and joined the other bubble clones. "I'm the better version of Luz, because unlike that bitch, I would never leave my step-bro to go on adventures in the Demon Realm while neglecting him…"
"Face it, sister, we're better than you because Dipper thinks so," the fake Mabel claimed while smirking at Mabel. "Otherwise, why would we be here?"
"No, no you're not!" Mabel told her fake copy. "You all are just creations of Bill's, not Dipper!"
"Keep telling yourself that, and besides," the fake Mabel said as she showed Mabel her hand. Her clear, not scarred hand. "At least I didn't allow myself to get a scar when Bill hijacked my bod. You're just damaged goods."
This made Mabel angry. "Alright, that's it!" she shouted as she tackled the fake, punching her as the fake kicked her off.
"Oh look, kids fighting, we could sell this," the fake Stan told his counterpart before getting punched by the real Stan.
"Take that, you faker!" Stan said as his fake counterpart punched back. The two got into a knuckle-fist fight.
"Yah! Get her off!" Paz shouted while trying to get rid of her clone, who crawled up to her hair, biting her.
"Come on! Let's see if you can punch like your daddy!" the fake Paz shouted before the real Paz managed to get her off.
"Bring it, you faker!" Paz shouted as she tackled her own clone.
Fake Candy and the real Candy faced each other, glaring intensively. "Let's see what this so-called girlfriend can do…" the fake Candy said.
"Yes, let's see…" Candy declared as the two shouted and charged at each other…
…only to swat at each other while turning their heads away. They were just waving their arms in the air while still being a foot away from each other.
Soos and Wendy, meanwhile, were facing the fake Luz. Soos looked nervous. "I'm not sure if I want to fight Luz…"
"Good, cause I wouldn't want to fight me either," Luz replied while changing into her winged Titan form.
"Yeah, well, I'm not afraid," Wendy declared while raising her fists up. "I've always wondered which one of us would win a fight."
"Oh this just got interesting!" the fake Luz responded as she charged at Wendy.
It was an all out brawl between the real versions and the fake versions… although Soos and Waddles ended up stepping out of the fight and watching from the sidelines.
"So shouldn't we, like, stop this?" Soos asked Waddles, who just oinked. "Yeah, let this run its course."
"Take this!" the fake Stan shouted as he punched his real counterpart, who toppled over the porch.
"You know, this isn't the first time I had to fight someone who looks like me," Stan muttered before getting back up.
"Oh, like your brother?" the fake Stan mocked before he got sucker punched by Stan.
Mabel kept punching the fake version of her while the two rolled across the ground. When they came to a stop, the fake Mabel was on top, punching Mabel until Mabel managed to kick the fake Mabel off her. "I'll show you damaged goods, fake Mabel. Or should I call you Fabel to make it less confusing?"
Meanwhile, Paz continued to fight her counterpart while turning to Candy. "Yo Candy, wanna trade?"
"That is a good idea!" Candy replied while she and Paz switched, Candy going to kick the fake Paz while Paz went to punch the fake Candy.
Wendy slid back as she was tackled by fake Luz against a tree. Wendy delivered a punch to fake Luz, who screeched at her… before Wendy jabbed her in the throat and the eyes, making the fake Luz let go of her to clutch her own throat. Wendy kicked the fake Luz back before pulling up her ax, twirling it in her hands.
"You think that ax is enough against me?!" the fake Luz asked while extending her claws.
"I don't know, but let's find out!" Wendy shouted as she charged at the fake Luz and swung at her, the fake Luz using her wings to fly up and avoid the ax. She flew behind Wendy and kicked her in the back, sending Wendy rolling across the ground. Wendy looked up and saw fake Luz lunging at her, but she managed to roll out of the way and swing the ax at one of fake Luz's wings, cutting into it and causing her to screech.
"AAH! YOU BITCH!" the fake Luz snarled, seeing her injury. "Would you really hurt someone who looks like your friend?"
"Please, me and Dipper once buried an ax in a shapeshifter that took my form, you'll be no different!" Wendy declared while twirling her ax.
The fake Luz snarled before getting pelted by rocks. "Gah! What the-?!" She turned around and saw that Soos was the one throwing rocks at her. "YOU!?"
"Sorry fake Luz, dude, but I can't just sit around and do nothing, you know," Soos replied. "I have to be the reliable one!"
"Why you-?!" the fake Luz shouted as she was about to attack Soos.
CHOP!
A second later, the fake Luz's head slid off from her neck, hitting the ground while her body fell beside her. The one responsible for chopping her head off was, of course, Wendy herself, now brandishing her ax.
"Nice distraction, Soos," Wendy complimented while looking down at the headless body.
However, the fake Luz's head suddenly sprouted spider legs, startling Wendy. The head hissed at her before crawling away.
"Well, that's going to keep me up at night," Soos commented.
Mabel was pushed back along with Stan. The two looked at their fake counterparts. Fabel's head and fists grew larger while her skin turned green, giving her a resemblance to Slimer from Ghostbusters while Fake Stan ripped his shirt off to show that unlike the real Stan, he was more in shape and buffed, with Popeye arms, six pack, and long wavy hair.
"Oh, come on!" the real Stan complained, looking jealous.
"Well, at least I'm cuter than you now," Mabel told her counterpart.
"You won't be cuter when I'm done turning you into a corpse!" Fabel declared. She turned to fake Stan. "Fake Stan, stop admiring yourself and focus!"
"But look at my gains!" the fake Stan said while flexing his muscles. "I'm like that muscular Austrian guy from the eighties."
Paz and Candy backed away when they saw their fake copies marching up to them.
"What's wrong? Don't have any of that gumption?" the fake Paz mocked before her eyes became more… reptilian.
"Yeah," the fake Candy said before the two fake girls merged into conjoined humanoid snake-like beings. They tried to wrap up Candy and Paz.
"What do we do? I don't know if I could face this hot version of myself," Stan said. "I mean, look at those anchor arms and beautiful hair!"
As Mabel looked at the monstrous forms of the fake duplicates, she asked herself one question: what would Dipper do in this kind of situation?
And then, an idea came to mind.
"Time to wrap this up!" Mabel declared as she rushed past Fabel and went to Wendy. "Wendy, your flannel!"
"Here!" Wendy shouted as she threw her flannel shirt for Mabel to grab. Fabel ran towards Mabel, trying to grab her but Mabel jumped up onto her large hand and wrapped the flannel around her eyes.
"Gah! I can't see you! But I can try to bite you!" Fabel shouted.
"Candy, Paz, grab the snake!" Mabel told them.
Realizing this, Paz took her tied sweater off from her neck while Candy used her slingshot to hit her fake counterpart's eyes.
"AAH! My eye!" she cried as Candy took another shot at fake Paz.
"Gah! My mascara!" the fake Paz cried out as their snake-like bodies slithered around, Paz jumped onto her counterpart's back, wrapping her sweater around her jaws as the snake Paz screeched around trying to get Paz off of her. Snake Candy tried to bite Paz from behind, but Paz jumped off, causing the Candy snake to bite snake Paz's head.
"GAAAAAH!" the fake Paz screamed before the fake Candy bit her head off accidentally.
"What?!" the fake Candy cried, swatting the interconnected body of the headless fake Paz around, which tripped over fake Stan.
"Oof!" fake Stan said as he tried to get up. But then he noticed a shadow towering over him and he saw the blind Fabel stumbling around with her jaws open.
"I'm gonna bite whoever's in front of me!" Fabel declared.
"Hey, wait-!"
But it was too late, Fabel chomping into the body of fake Stan. His body was now torso-less as his lower body fell down and melted into goo.
"Everybody out of the way!" Mabel shouted while keeping the flannel covering her fake counterpart's eyes. Fabel kept running around as snake Candy screamed and tried to get out of the way, only for Fabel to trip over the snake Candy.
"Time to end you, faker!" Mabel shouted as she used the flannel to pull the giant head, snapping Fabel's neck before jumping off from the goliath, big-headed clone.
Snake Candy looked at Fabel's unfortunate fate along with the rest of the fakes. She tried to slither away, but her face was met with Wendy's ax, slicing it in half.
"Well, that takes care of that," Wendy declared, looking at her bloody ax and the slaughter around them.
"Yeah, glad that's over with," Stan said, everyone breathing heavily as they looked up at the Mystery Shack.
"And now to get Dipper out of here," Mabel said, her face and tone determined.
Nothing was going to stop her from getting to her brother. Nothing.
Meanwhile, in Camila's bubble, Camila, Abigail, and Gus's group were still in the house.
"We can't stay here much longer," Abigail said. "The longer we're here, the more this place will try to tempt us."
"She's right," Gus agreed. "Rejecting this illusion is the best way to get out of here."
"Alright, let's head out," Masha said as she went to the door, only for Perfect-Luz to open it.
"Hi guys!" Perfect-Luz greeted them as Manny appeared with her in the doorway. "Guess what? More guests have arrived for the cookout!"
"More guests?" Clara asked.
"No, it's a trick!" Gus told them, but Manny spoke up.
"Hey Gus, your dad's here at the party," Manny said as he pointed to the backyard, causing Gus's eyes to widen.
"Dad…?" Gus asked as he looked out the door. He spotted his dad there talking to Joseph. But it's not just him. He also saw… Vaggie.
Vaggie, alive and well, spotted Gus. "Hey Gus! Glad to see you here!" she said as she waved to him.
"Come and join the party, Gus!" Perry said, waving to them.
Nora walked over to try to pull him back. "No Gus, this is not real. You can't-"
"Nora, we're here!"
Nora paused when she heard that familiar voice. Looking u, she saw coming into the backward was a man with brown hair and mustache and with him was their son… Gus Gordon.
"Luke… Augustus?" Nora asked in shock, seeing her late husband here, along with her son… both of them alive.
"Hey mom, you're here as well," Gus G. said while Masha and Clara came outside. "Hey Mash, guess who's also here for the party?"
"We're here!" Rudo declared as he showed up along with Dana.
"Rudo? Dana?!" Masha asked in shock.
"Hey Masha," Dana said, waving to her. "We're here just in time."
Nora and Masha stood still while Gus P. shook his head. "Wait! Don't fall for this, guys, this is still Bill's bubble. I mean, this isn't a complete fantasy for everyone, I can see your holes!" He then pointed to Perfect-Luz. "Like you, 'Perfect Luz', how can you exist without your Amity? Hmm? And our best friend Willow's not here, so this place isn't a perfect paradi-"
"Hey, sorry we're late," Amity said as she and Willow flew down on their staffs.
"Yeah, just doing a small errand before we got here," Willow said as she waved to Angel. "Hi, Ms. Sinclair."
"Hello Willow, Amity, nice to see you girls here," Perfect-Angel said.
"Amity!" Perfect-Luz shouted as she rushed over to hug her girlfriend. "So nice to see you here, sweet potato."
"Likewise, la batata," Amity responded, the two sharing a kiss.
"Aww," the adults said warmly.
"Isn't that sweet, Camila?" Manny asked his wife, wrapping his arm around her.
"Um, yes, Manny," Camila said awkwardly while turning to Gus, who just looked dumbfounded.
"Wait, so we're in Mrs. Noceda and my mom's fantasy, but now it is becoming our fantasy as well…" Clara said before shaking her head. "Okay, we need to get out of here before it gets even worse."
"Yes, we should go," Camila said as she moved away from Manny's arm. "Come on Gail, Nora, Gus, Clara and Masha, we should head out."
"You guys are leaving?" Perfect-Luz asked them, looking confused. "But… why?"
"Yes, why would you all leave?" Perfect-Angel asked while stepping toward them.
"Because this isn't real," Abigail told them. "This is just a fantasy created by Bill to keep us in here."
"Yeah, well… Bill has already won," the fake Joseph pointed out.
"Besides, why would you guys want to go back out there to that chaos-filled wasteland?" fake Vaggie asked while looking concerned for Gus. "You've seen what Bill did out there, and you can have anything you want here. Including the family you've lost."
"And the family you wished you had," spoke Abigail's perfect version of her mother.
"It's nothing but death and destruction out there," the perfect version of Abigail's father said. "But here? You can be safe. You can be happy…"
"You can have anything you want," the fake Perry said. "Gus, you don't have to lose your father again…"
"And you don't have to lose us again, mom," fake Gus G. declared while standing in front of Nora, who took a step back.
"There's no more Department A, no more witch hunts…" Luke told them.
"If you leave, you'll lose everything," Perfect-Luz said while giving Camila a sad look. "Isn't this what you've always wanted, mom? You, me, and dad, living together again. Just… stay here with me and dad, we can be a family again."
Camila looked at the saddened expression of her fake daughter. Even if she was an illusion, seeing her expression pained her and seeing Manny's sadden look pained her as well. "I…"
"Camil, don't fall for it…" Abigail told her before Perfect-Angel walked up to her.
"Come on, Gail, you of all people should know firsthand how disappointing reality can be," Perfect-Angel told her. "Here, you have the family you've always wanted, the family that you deserved. Just reject reality, and accept… this fantasy." She patted Abigail's shoulder.
Abigail gulped. She glanced at Mary and Mosely, who had been eating but now just looked confused by what was going on. Her fists tightened. "This place… is just a reminder of what I lost. You can't give me what I want."
"Oh really?" Perfect-Angel smiled while looking over to Camila, then back at Abigail. She placed both her hands onto Abigail. "Are you sure there isn't anything at all we can give you? This may be Camila's bubble, but there's another fantasy that you could have~!"
Abigail realized what she meant from her tone and how she looked at Camila, her eyes widening. "No… Angel, don't!"
Perfect-Angel smirked. "I'm not doing anything, this is your doing, Gail!"
"She's right~!"
Everyone else moved aside to open up a path to Angel and Abigail. The Gates woman turned and saw someone coming out of the swimming pool and walking toward her. Abigail's eyes became filled with dread. "No…"
"Hi, Gail~!" shouted a version of Camila, a Camila with her wet hair let down and wearing only a revealing blue swimsuit. She walked right up to Abigail, soaking wet. "I hope that this swimsuit is to your liking," she purred in a seductive tone, causing Abigail to look very embarrassed.
"Gail… what is this?" Camila asked in shock.
"Mom… what the fuck?!" Clara asked in shock and embarrassment.
"What…?!" Nora asked, equally shocked.
"I… I don't get it, what's happening here?" Gus asked in confusion. "Is this some kind of human thing?"
"It's times like this that you're lucky to be ace, Gus," Masha said while staring at this version of Camila. "But that is… wow."
Although she didn't say anything, inside her head Abigail was screaming right now.
Meanwhile, in Dipper's bubble, everyone got inside the Shack and headed up to Dipper's room.
"Okay, we don't want to overwhelm him," Mabel told the others. "Me and Stan will go in, you guys can stand guard."
"Will you be able to get through to him?" Candy asked them.
"Relax, kid. We'll go through to him," Stan reassured her as he and Mabel went to the door to Dipper's room.
"Dipper, you in there?" Mabel asked, knocking on the door before realizing it wasn't fully closed. "Dipper?"
Mabel and Stan entered the room and spotted Dipper by the window. He turned around, seeing Stan and Mabel. "Oh, it's… you guys," he said, not freaking out this time. Instead, he looked rather… calm.
"Hey, Mason," Mabel said as she and Stan walked towards him. "Do you still think that we're just illusions?"
"Yeah, I do," he admitted while looking down.
"Kid, we're obviously real-" Stan was stopped by Mabel.
"Can you tell us why you think we're not real?" Mabel asked him. "We could understand better if you tell us."
Dipper let out a sigh. "Because this is all my fault."
Mabel and Stan looked confused. "What are you talking about, kid?" Stan asked him.
"Because I gave Bill the rift after he tricked me again," Dipper explained, surprising Mabel and Stan.
"What…?" Mabel asked in shock.
"Bill, while hiding inside of Blendin, offered me a chance to see you two again if I gave him the rift Ford had in his lab," Dipper explained to them. "When I gave it to him, he revealed himself and used the rift to come over. But now, I guess, he held up his end of the bargain in his own twisted way by putting me in here. A world resembling my town, where you two, along with Luz, will stay here with me and never leave. But I know that none of this is real, that nobody in here is real."
"So… why are you staying here?" Mabel asked him.
"Because I'm scared," he admitted while looking down sadly. "Scared of what is happening outside. Of what is happening to the rest of the world. People are most likely dead because of me and there may not even be a world outside of this prison." He sighed. "What's the use of leaving here anyway? Bill has probably already won."
"He hasn't taken over the world completely, kid," Stan reassured him. "There's like, some kind of barrier around the town that's preventing Bill and his minions from leaving."
"And why should I believe you?" Dipper asked while looking at the two. "You two are just one last trick from Bill, a way to convince me to step outside of this prison, causing it to disappear forever along with you two. Leaving me with nothing in an apocalyptic wasteland of my own doing… and I'll be all alone. At least in here, I won't have to see the consequences of my own stupidity. At least in here, even if it's fake, I'm not alone. Either way, the world is doomed because of me…"
Mabel and Stan walked over to sit next to him. "Dipper, it is in no way your fault that you were tricked," Mabel reassured him.
"Yeah, after all you're just a kid," Stan said, patting Dipper's back. "A kid this Bill fella took advantage of. Hell, this is more my fault than anyone else's." He sighed while looking outside the window. "I put your life in danger when I opened the portal, Mason. Both you and your sister. That portal is what started all of this. I… I should've prioritized your safety and happiness, Mason…"
Dipper looked up at Stan, surprised to see his saddened expression as Stan continued. "But I was a terrible guardian, and all because I was trying to undo something I did thirty years ago. All because I wanted to bring back someone who wasn't even that grateful to me for bringing him back. Someone who wanted nothing to do with me even before the accident…" He looked down with a sigh. "I should've moved on, especially since you became more important. But I couldn't help myself. I had to undo my mistake. I had to bring my brother back… at least he's been taking care of you."
"Actually, well, he has but…" Dipper sighed. "Bill approached me as Blendin after I overheard Grunkle Ford talking with those agents. They offered him a job which he accepted with the intention of leaving me behind."
"What?!" Stan and Mabel responded, both of them looking angry.
"Why that no-good brother, how can he think of leaving you behind?!" Stan shouted.
"Yeah, doesn't family mean anything to him?!" Mabel responded, crossing her arms in anger. "I thought Grunkle Ford had his head in the clouds, but it's actually all filled with mashu… mashoo… how do you say that Yiddish saying, Stan?"
"Mashugana?" Stan replied.
"Yeah, all mashed potatoes!" Mabel shouted, Dipper giving a snicker at that. "Hey, I made you laugh."
"Yeah, just like…" Dipper said as he looked at Mabel before looking back down.
Mabel sighed while looking at her brother. "I'll admit, things are bad out there, but that doesn't mean that we should just give up. We've beaten Bill before, and we can beat him again, since apparently there's some prophecy to defeat him, which is why we were brought back to Gravity Falls. And apparently you're a part of it."
"Me?" Dipper asked in confusion. "That… sounds awfully convenient."
"I know, it kinda is," Mabel admitted with a shrug. "But the point is, there is still hope. Besides, it's better to fight for a better future than to completely give up and accept defeat." She patted Dipper's hand, giving him a smile. "And look, I will admit that I don't know what will happen afterwards, whether we will be able to stay together or be separated again. I know that reality isn't a perfect fantasy… but me and Grunkle Stan can promise that you won't be alone."
"She's right, Dips," spoke Wendy as she and the others entered the room. "We still have your back, even if some of us won't always be around."
"Yeah, you can always come to us whenever you've got some problems, dude," Soos said.
"We care about you, Mason," Candy said, walking over to pat his hand. "You never have to be alone."
"Yeah, so why don't you get out of this bubble and get some fresh air," Paz suggested with a smile.
"Oink!" Waddles oinked, his nose nuzzling at Dipper's leg.
"So Dipper, would you give us a chance to prove that we're real?" Mabel asked.
Dipper looked at her, then at the others. He sighed. "I… I think I will," he told them as he got up. "I'm… ready to step outside."
Mabel and Stan smiled. "Great!" Mabel declared as she hugged her brother. "I knew you would come around!"
Dipper hugged her back. He still wasn't sure if she was real or not… but the hug still felt nice. And in the moment, he wanted it to be real more than anything. "Even if this is a chance you guys aren't real, well, I'll die fighting Bill myself if I have to."
"Heh, you won't need to kid," Stan said as they headed out. "You won't need to."
Back in the fake Gatesfield, things had taken an awkward turn, for Abigail.
"Come on, Abby," the false Camila said seductively, getting closer to Abigail and wrapping her arms around her arm. "You know this is what you want, right? I can roll my tongue in your ears…"
"No, no this is not what I want!" Abigail rejected her, pulling her arm back. "Because you are not Camila!"
"Why can't I be?" Camila asked her, pouting. "This is what you want, isn't it?"
"No, I don't want it like this!" Abigail barked at her, her face red with anger and embarrassment.
"Why not? Hell, I can speak the hottest Spanish you've ever heard!" false Camila declared as she switched to Espanol. "Puedo satisfacer cualquier necesidad que desees que tenga, incluida la exploración de los cuerpos de los demás…"
"Jesus, I understood some of it," Masha said, wincing. "I'm regretting taking Spanish classes…"
"Gail, what in the… bubble, is this?!" Camila asked, her face hot red with embarrassment.
"Yeah, why would you think about Mrs. Noceda that way?!" Clara demanded from her mom, who looked away. "What do you think dad would think?" she demanded while looking around. She suddenly realized someone was missing. "Wait… where is dad?"
"Oh, she doesn't know, does she?" false Camila asked Abigail with a smirk.
"Don't you dare…" Abigail warned her.
"Dare what? Telling everyone that you're a queer?" false Camila asked, shocking everyone. She turned to Clara. "That's right, your mama doesn't, or really, never loved your daddy."
"What…?" Clara asked in shock. "No… no it's not true, right mom?" She turned to her mother, who once again looked away in shame. "Mom…?"
"You really do not know your own mother, do you?" false Camila asked. "She's been hiding in the closet for years. Sure, she's dated men, but she's got awful taste in them, and Frank's just the latest in a long line of bad decisions. Your mom had feelings for Camila Noceda while she lived in Gatesfield, even though they both were married. And before her there was Angel." She pointed to Perfect Angel.
"Really? Wow, I'm flattered," Perfect-Angel replied with a smile.
"Yeah, which is why she was suspicious of Eda so much when they were teenagers, since she thought that she and Angel were romantically involved. Pretty much, she was jealous," false Camila said while Clara looked upset.
"No… no, no this isn't…" Clara was in tears, making Abigail, Mary, and Mosely look concerned for her. Abigail looked at her.
"Clara, let me just-" But to Abby's dismay, Clara ran out of the backyard. "Clara!"
"Clara, come back!" Masha shouted as she went to chase after her, Gus following suit.
"Clara!" Camila said before looking over at Abby. "Gail, we need to-" But Abby, feeling overwhelmed by everything going on, ran back into the house and closed the door. "Gail?"
On the sidewalk in the front of the house, Clara was sitting down while crying. Masha and Gus sat with her and attempted to comfort her.
"We're sorry that happened, Clara," Masha said, holding her hand and patting her back.
"Yeah, that was not the way you should have learned that," Gus told her. "And it's not your fault."
"I… I know," Clara said while crying, wiping away her tears. "Honestly… I should have seen this coming," she admitted. "I do love my dad, but… I know he wasn't very helpful to her when she was hurting. Even after she attempted to take her life. Most of the time, he just pretended that nothing was wrong with her. I… I was so in denial that things were okay between them… but who am I kidding?"
Gus looked at Clara, sympathetic about her situation. "I know how you feel, Clara," he told her. "I know what being in denial around your parents is like. Especially when one of them didn't turn out to be who you thought they were…"
Clara looked to Gus, recalling what his mother was really like. "Everything is just happening so fast…"
"Clara?"
The three heard someone calling out Clara's name. They turned around, seeing Mary and Mosely standing nearby, looking concerned.
"What… what do you two want?" Clara asked, wiping her tears.
"Hey, we're just wondering if you're okay?" Mosely asked her.
"Yeah," Mary responded. "We were wondering if you'd like some ice cream? That would help, right?"
Gus and Masha looked suspicious. "I don't know about this," Masha said in a low voice.
"Yeah," Gus responded, narrowing his eyes at the twins.
"Calm down, you two," Clara said, standing up as she looked at her 'siblings'. She looked at them for a moment… before her face softened. "You know what? Maybe ice cream sounds good right now."
"What?" Gus and Masha asked her.
"But Clara, are you sure?" Gus asked her.
"Fake or not, I need to clear my head and I think ice cream would help me do that," Clara said as she looked at the twins, who smiled at her.
And as she saw their smile, Clara didn't know why, but she already felt a bit better.
Abigail was inside her bedroom, tearing up. She heard a knock on the door. "Go away."
"Abby, it's me. Nora."
Abigail wiped away her tears as she heard the door open and saw Nora coming in. "Nora…"
"I just want to check in on you," Nora responded, stepping in to see Abigail on the bed. "Do you… want to talk? I'm here if you need me."
Abigail looked up at Nora, then looked down. She was about to tell Nora that she didn't want to talk, but she could see that Nora only wanted to help, so she just sighed and began to speak. "Sure, we can talk," she said.
"What was said out there… it's true?" Nora asked while Abigail nodded.
"Yeah, it's true," Abigail confirmed. "Spent all my life hiding it, but I guess it's out now. I like women. I have since I was a girl, even though I tried to tell myself it was wrong. Honestly, I don't know if I'm bi or just gay. I have dated men, but I don't know if that's because I like men or was only trying to convince myself I like men. Either way, I have a bad history with dating men. My first kiss was with a boy named Jeff who later became the genocidal Huntsman before he died and then came back to life. Another one of my flings was with Drew Lipsky, who later became the supervillain Dr. Drakken. He almost took over the world that one time," she vented while lowering her head. "But before them, I did have feelings for Angel at one point. I hated myself for it and I hated her for it, which didn't do either of us any good. And after Angel… died, I spent years convincing myself that it was a fluke. That I didn't like girls. But then… I developed feelings for Camila as well, even though she was a married woman. And those feelings resurfaced when Camila came back." Shame washed over her face. "I never intended to tell her, especially since Camil told me that she wasn't interested in getting back into dating. She is still not over Manny and she wanted to focus on Luz, which I intended to respect… but it still got out anyway. And now she knows." She lowered her head. "And so does Clara…"
"It… must've been so hard for you, Abby," Nora said as she went to sit beside Abigail, patting her back. "I'm sorry that you had to go through all of that. I didn't realized that you were, well, I never suspected that you were-"
"A queer?" Abigail asked her.
"There's nothing wrong in being that, Abby," Nora assured her. "You're still you, and having these attractions is natural. You shouldn't be ashamed about it."
"I… I know," Abigail said as she sighed. "But I am a mess, Nora. I have been a mess for years. The way that my family raised me… it screwed with my head. It made it very difficult for me to be comfortable with my sexuality."
"So you and Frank…?" Nora asked her.
"My parents set me up with him, since they wanted grandchildren, and I went along with it," Abigail explained while looking down. "Neither Clara nor Camila deserve to be burdened with this information. I have no idea how I can face them after this. Clara doesn't deserve a mother who is pining for another woman, and Camila doesn't deserve a best friend who is secretly attracted to her." She was silent for a moment before adding something else. "I also fear about Clara learning the truth about the twins as well..."
Nora paused, frowning. "What do you mean by that? What were… the twins to you?"
Abigail looked up at Nora. After a brief moment of hesitation, she started to explain. "Clara wasn't the first attempt me and Frank made to have children together," she admitted. "Before her… I once carried twins."
"You did?" Nora asked, already having a feeling at where this was going.
"Yes," Abigail said while looking at a photo showing Clara with the twins. A fake photo, of course. "Back then, I was excited about having twins. Me and Frank were going to call them Mary and Mosely once they were born. But… I had a miscarriage."
This confirmed Nora's suspicions, although the reveal still hit her hard as a mother. "God… Abby, I didn't know…"
"I don't talk about the miscarriage much," Abby admitted, her voice quiet and shaking slightly. "It's too painful. My family didn't talk about it either… at least, not in front of my face. But I know they talked about it behind my back… and I know they blamed me for it. I blamed myself for it too. Camila knows about my miscarriage, but Clara never knew. But even though I don't talk about it… I think about it a lot. It's one of the reasons that I fell into depression for a while. What happened to Angel, the miscarriage, the death of my brother, Camila's death, Luz going missing… it all just took a toll on me. And while I am glad to have Clara, sometimes I can't help but think about the twins. What they could have been like if they lived." She looked up at the ceiling fan, tears in her eyes. "Mary and Mosely aren't the children I never had… they're the children I almost had."
Meanwhile, Clara along with Masha and Gus followed the twins to an ice cream shop in town. The twins handed Clara some ice cream after paying for it.
"Here's your favorite, sis. Vanilla with chocolate swirls," Mary said, handing her the ice cream bowl.
"With chocolate chips and marshmallows added," Mosely added, winking. "Just how you like it."
"Thank you, you two," Clara replied as she sat down at a table to eat the ice cream. After a day of living in the apocalypse, it was very welcome. "Mmm, this is… this is really nice. It may not be real, but it does taste nice."
"Not real? Are you messing with us again, Clara?" Mosely asked her, looking confused.
"Yeah, what is with you lately?" Mary asked, also confused. "You and everyone else has been acting weird right now ever since you guys came back home."
"And for some reason, there are two Mrs. Nocedas now," Mosely added. "Is this some kind of weird Twilight Zone play we haven't heard about?"
This surprised the three as they looked at the twins. After all, everyone else seemed to be in on the fact that this was just a fantasy. Everyone except for the twins.
"Um… you guys really don't know what's going on?" Gus asked them.
"You guys must have realized that this whole thing isn't real, right?" Masha pointed out.
"Why does everyone keep asking that?" Mosely asked, looking a little frightened in addition to being confused.
"No way…" Masha said in shock. She turned to Gus. "Have you ever seen anything like this?"
"Well, most illusions I conjure are aware of their existence as illusions and their purpose as illusions. But this… I haven't seen this before," Gus discussed. "Unless they're lying, it's like… they're not aware of what Bill made them for or what this world is made for."
Clara looked at the twins. "So… Mary and Mosely don't know about their own… existence?"
"Why are you guys looking at us strangely?" Mary asked them, shifting uncomfortably in her seat.
"Mary, Mosely, you two along with this… Gatesfield, and everyone around you… aren't real," Gus told them. "Angel, Luz, and the others are aware of this and are trying to keep us here, but you two… don't seem to know."
"Whaaaat? Come on, man. You have to be playing with us," Mosely said with a chuckle, rustling Gus's head.
"But it's true," Gus told them. "You two may have a memory of knowing Clara's favorite ice cream, but Clara has no memory of telling you two that, don't you Clara?"
"No, I don't," Clara confirmed, while looking at the two. "I never told either of you this. You may have memories of us growing up together, but I don't. Because those memories you have… aren't real. They never actually happened."
Mary and Mosely looked at them strangely. "W-Wait, you guys aren't really saying we're not real, right? Like, god," Mary scoffed, clearly in denial. "This is some kind of weird, elaborate joke."
"Yeah, and Clara, what happened earlier, don't be too harsh on mom," Mosely told her, trying to change the subject. "She's just… going through some things, even if they're a little weird."
"I know, I shouldn't. Especially since we're in a better place now and I don't want to lose that," Clara said while looking down at her ice cream. "I understand better what mom has been through, but… I'm still scared. Scared of… what this could all lead to."
Masha looked at her girlfriend, patting her shoulder. "Hey, I get it, Clara. You're scared of change. But don't forget… you're one of the bravest people I know. Together, we've made decisions that we knew would have huge ramifications, but you still saw them through in spite of your fears. You helped save Willow, a complete stranger, and left this town, not knowing if you would ever come back," she pointed out. "We've been through so much together… and we'll get through this."
Clara smiled a little. "Thanks, Masha. I… I think I'm feeling better now," she said. She looked back at Mary and Mosely. "And again, thank you two. You seem nice. I… I wish you were real."
"Please stop saying that," Mary said nervously. "But you're welcome."
"Yeah," Moseley added. "We're just… trying to do our best."
Back to Abigail and Nora, the two were hugging it out, Abigail in tears as Nora comforted her.
"I'm sorry, Abby," Nora said while holding onto her. "I'm so sorry this happened to you."
Abigail sniffed, managing to calm herself down. "Thank you, Nora, for being here with me."
"It's no problem," Nora responded while patting Abigail's back before letting her go. "I am here for you. Now and always."
Abigail managed to give a small smile. "I do appreciate what you've done for me. I'm… I'm lucky to have friends like you and Camila, although I'm not quite sure what I did to deserve it." She sighed. "But we need to get everyone out of here. This place… is awful."
"Yeah," Nora agreed. "We need to find the kids and get Camila."
"You go ahead, I… I think I still need a moment to myself," Abigail told her.
Nora gave her a nod. "Of course," she said, hugging Abigail one last time before she left to get the kids.
After Nora left, Abigail was left alone in the house. The house that she once called home. Frowning, she got up from her bed and began to explore her house, feeling uncomfortable with how familiar it felt to her. It was like it had been taken straight from her memories… except it was clear this version had seen happier days, even if those happier days were fictional. As she looked at her 'perfect' family photos on the walls, she was reminded of the truth. Not the lies that this place was trying to sell her. After letting out a sigh, she started… to sing.
"I am a question to the world, not an answer to be heard, or a moment that's held in your arms," she sang while walking through the hallway. "And what do you think you'd ever say?" She looked at her parents' photos. "I won't listen anyway, you don't know me, and I'll never be what you want me to be!"
She looked down while thinking about her parents' past abuse, her fists tightening as she remembered how they treated her. "And what do you think you'd understand? I'm a girl, no, a woman! You can't take me and throw me away!" She looked up, seeing the large portrait of the 'happy' Gates family. She grabbed the portrait and threw it down to the ground. "And how~ can you learn what's never shown? Yeah, you stand here on your own. They don't know me, 'cause I'm not here."
"And I want a moment to be real! Wanna touch things I don't feel! Wanna hold on and feel I belong!" She smiled slightly when she remembered the unicorn she petted. She could still feel its warmth. She could also still remember holding onto her Clara when she was born, how she refused to let her go as tears fell down her face. She saw a photo of Clara and touched it gently. "And how can the world want me to change? They're the ones that stay the same, they don't know me 'cause I'm not here!"
"And you see the things they never see, all you wanted I could be! Now you know me, and I'm not afraid!" she sang while looking at a photo of Camila from when she lived in Gatesfield. She reached out to it, but then pulled her hand back. "And I wanna tell you who I am, can you help this poor woman? They can't break me, as long as I know who I am!" She stared up at the Jesus on the cross decorative hanging above the fireplace as she continued to sing. "And I want a moment to be real! Wanna touch things I don't feel, wanna hold and feel I belong!"
"And how can the world want me to change? They're the ones that stay the same! They can't see me, but I'm still here." She stared at her parents' portrait again before bringing her foot down on it. "They can't tell me who to be, 'cause I'm not what they see!"
"Yeah, the world is still sleeping, while I keep on dreaming for me, and their words are just whispers and lies that I'll never believe!" she sang as she took down the other fake photos in the room. She threw them into the fireplace before she paused to calm herself down. "And I want a moment to be real… wanna touch things I don't feel! Wanna hold on and feel I belong!"
"And how can the world want me to change? They're the ones that stay the same! I'm the one now 'cause I'm still here! I'm the one 'cause I'm still here! I'm still here, no I'm still here… I'm still here…"
She stopped singing, taking a deep breath while looking around at the living room. She felt relieved to have gotten that out of her system.
Finally, she was ready.
Meanwhile, Camila was in the backyard. She was still processing what had just happened, unsure how to feel about it. And she was growing more uncomfortable by everyone around her. It was then that Perfect-Luz walked up to her.
"Hey, crazy party, right mom?" Perfect-Luz asked her. "Say, maybe after this, we could watch one of those animal documentaries we like to watch together! You always cry during those."
"Yeah, I do…" Camila said awkwardly. "Um, but I think I have to go."
"Yeah, sure, I'll get dad and we can all leave-"
"Actually, I'm thinking of leaving here," Camila said as Perfect-Luz stepped in front of her.
"But… why?" Luz asked her in confusion. "Don't you… like it here?"
"Well, as much as this place resembles the old town I used to live in, I know that it isn't real," Camila said while turning to Perfect-Luz. "And… you're not my real daughter."
Perfect-Luz frowned. "But… isn't this better? Finally, I'm the perfect daughter that you always wanted me to be!"
"Luz, no…" Camila said awkwardly but Perfect-Luz went on.
"I mean, look at me," she said as she pointed at herself. "I'm a normal human being. I got no weird powers, no Palisman trapped in my head, no Boiling Isles, no Eda, no Lilith… I'm everything that you wanted from me!" She grabbed Camila's hand, looking up at her with a begging expression. "So why? Why would you not want this?"
Camila shut her eyes and took a deep breath. "Because I would be wrong to wish for Luz to be something she's not. That Luz is already perfect. Just the way she is," she declared while pulling her hand away.
Perfect-Luz frowned while Camila heard the patio door open. She turned to see Abigail stepping out.
"Camil, you ready to go?" Abigail asked her.
Camila nodded. "But what about the kids?"
"Got them," Nora said while bringing Clara, Masha, and Gus with her as the twins followed. "Let's go!"
Camila was about to come, but was suddenly pulled by the hand by Perfect-Luz. "What the…? Let me go!" she told her.
"But you can't go, mama," Perfect- Luz told her with a frown. Fake Amity and fake Willow were with her.
"We're gonna keep you here, one way, or another," they said as their bodies turned gray.
Everyone else turned gray as well, their eyes glowing red. Abigail rushed over, grabbing Camila and pulling her away from Perfect Luz.
"We should go now!" Abigail shouted before being stopped by the false Camila.
"Why leave?! The party's just getting started, Abby~!" the false Camila told her.
"Alright, I have had enough about you!" Camila responded, grabbing the false Camila's head and snapping it. This caused the false Camila to fall down and melt into goo.
"AAAH!" Mary and Mosely screamed as they hugged each other. Unlike the other bubble occupants, they hadn't turned gray and were lacking red eyes.
"Did Mrs. Noceda just… kill herself?!" Mary asked, confused and terrified.
"Mary, I don't think this is real," Mosely said in a panic. "I don't think we are real!"
Meanwhile, in Dipper's bubble, everyone was leaving the Mystery Shack.
"Feeling better now, Mason?" Mabel asked him.
"Well, whatever happens, I'll just have to live with it," Dipper said, only to suddenly scream. "GAH!"
Everyone turned and screamed as well when they saw Luz's spider head on the porch.
"None of you are going anywhere!" she hissed before jumping off the porch.
The gang then saw that marching toward and surrounding the Shack were all of the Gravity Falls townspeople: fake versions of Blubs, Durland, Tyler Cutebiker, Manly Dan and his sons, Lazy Susan, Old Man McGucket, Grenda, Robbie, Nate, Tambry, Lee, Thompson, Sprott, Vee, Toby Determined, Blind Ivan, Tats, Bud Gleeful, Shandra Jimenez, and even Gideon amongst other characters.
"Hot Belgian Waffles, it's a who's who of everyone in Gravity Falls!" Stan exclaimed.
"You can't leave!" the fake Durland declared.
"Yeah, cause we won't allow you dorks to get out!" the fake Robbie shouted as all of them turned gray, their eyes glowing red.
"We have all of you surrounded, so give up!" fake Gideon declared.
"Oh dudes, this is just like that dream I had once!" Soos exclaimed.
"How do we get out of here?!" Paz asked, seeing them all surrounded.
"We'll just have to fight our way out!" Wendy declared as she held up her ax again.
"Right. Everybody, fight!" Mabel shouted as the group charged at the townspeople.
Stan punched the false Blubs and Durland before getting wrapped around the fake Vee. Wendy kicked the fake Vee off of him and saw the fake Robbie try to grab her, but the fake Robbie was then hit in the gut by Dipper's fist. The three nodded to each other.
Paz used pepper spray to blind versions of Thompson, the pizza guy, and the Mattress King. She was then confronted by two false versions of her former friends. "Tiffany? Ariel? I haven't heard from you two in a while…"
"GAAAH!" the two shouted as they charged at Paz, but Waddles and Mabel tackled them away, Mabel kicking Tiffany.
"Stay away from my girlfriend!" Mabel declared, which made Paz's eyes shine.
"Oh wow…" Paz said as she looked at Mabel in awe.
Soos punched through a fake version of Sprott, while Candy tripped over the false Tyler and Lazy Susan. The two then saw false versions of Grenda and Abeulita.
"Oh no, dudes, I don't think I could hit my own grandma! Even if she is fake!" Soos shouted.
"And not my best friend!" Candy added.
"Yes, tremble with guilt!" the fake Abeulita said, baring her fangs.
"We are to be feared!" fake Grenda declares only for them to be squashed down by the knocked out false Manly Dan.
Soos and Candy turned to see Wendy being the one who punched out her false father. "Yeah! I just conquered my old man! Technically," she said before turning to them. "What?"
"Guys, look!" Dipper shouted as he pointed to the Mystery Cart, which had a car attached to it for transporting groups of tourists. "We can use the Mystery Cart to get out of here!"
"Hop on!" Stan shouted before punching the fake Bud out of the way as Wendy kicked the fake Gideon out of the path.
The group ran to the Mystery Cart, where Wendy, Soos, Paz, and Candy climbed into the car while Stan and Mabel sat in the cart, with Waddles making it in Soos' arms. Dipper was about to get on, but was then stopped when someone else popped up in front of him.
"Yo, yo, yo, it's Dippy-Fresh in the house!" declared this nineties-looking version of Dipper. He was wearing a backwards hat, green and purple shades, a blue vest with yellow lightning bolts, neon green belt and neon shoes. "Swiggity swag, what's in the bag?"
Dipper just stared at him, then he grabbed Dippy Fresh's head, and snapped his head backwards before kicking him out of the way.
"Start the Mystery Cart, start the Mystery Cart!" Dipper shouted as he jumped into the car. Stan didn't need to be told twice as he bit the pedal, using the Mystery Cart to drive past and through the townies.
"So… what was that nineties version of you, Mason?" Candy asked.
"I… I don't why, but for some reason he just showed up and I have this desire to snap his neck," Dipper responded. "Who knew killing myself could be so satisfying."
"After this, you kids definitely need a lot of therapy," Stan said as he drove the Mystery Cart toward the town border.
"Haha! We're going to be home free!" Mabel declared before jumping from the Mystery Cart's roof was the Luz spider head.
"GAH!" everyone screamed.
"Hssss! None of you are going anywhere!" the Luz spider head hissed.
Everyone began to fight the Luz spider head, Wendy and Paz trying to punch it. The spider-Luz bit onto Soos's arm. "AAH! Help, she's got my arm!"
"Get off of him!" Wendy shouted as she punched it, getting it to let go of Soos's arm. However, it stuck to the ceiling of the Mystery Cart. That was when they heard thump noises on the Mystery Cart's roof.
"What the-?!" Stan asked as he looked up, seeing gnomes on the Mystery Cart.
"OH COME ON!" Mabel shouts.
"None of you will leave!" fake Jeff the gnome declared.
"Shmebulock!" the fake Schmebulock shouted before Wendy used her ax to knock him and some of the other gnomes off.
"Get out of here, you vermin!" Wendy shouted.
Candy looked back. "Look!" she shouted.
Dipper turned and saw something coming toward them from behind. It was… an abomination.
But not just any abomination… an abomination that was a fusion of all the townspeople of Gravity Falls, their bodies and limbs all mashed together to create one unholy creature that roared at them as it gave chase.
"Okay, I've seen a lot of messed up stuff in this town over the years," Stan commented. "But this is on a whole different level!"
"Dead end ahead!" Dipper shouted as he pointed ahead. There was a cliff rapidly approaching, the road ending at the cliff and going off into… nothing but a black abyss.
"What do we do?!" Stan asked in a panic.
"Keep going!" Mabel shouted before spider-head Luz latched onto her hair. "GAAAH!"
"Hey! Keep your teeth off of my girlfriend!" Paz shouted. She grabbed the ax from Wendy and swung its handle at the spider-head Luz, knocking it out of the Mystery Cart and onto the road in front of it.
The Luz spider head got up and saw the Mystery Cart right on top of her. She only had time to let out a screech before being completely run over.
"Yeah!" they cheered before they remembered the abomination chasing after them.
"Don't celebrate yet, drive Stan, drive!" Wendy shouted.
"Hang on to your seats, kids!" Stan shouted as he drove straight off the edge of the cliff, causing them to fly off the road. "GAAAH!"
"YAAAAAH!" they screamed as the Mystery Cart went off the edge… and through the side of the bubble.
Dipper's bubble finally popped, bursting into ash. The gang screamed as the Mystery Cart disappeared, causing them to hit the ground of the cliff next to the bubble.
After they fell, Dipper rolled on the ground until he stopped. He groaned as he got up, bruised and coughing out dust as he rubbed his arm. "Oh man…"
"Dipper!" Mabel shouted and Dipper noticed her rushing towards him to hug him. "Oh thank god, are you alright? Are you hurt anywhere?"
"M-Mabel…" Dipper said in shock, realizing that she was still there. He looked over to see Stan being helped up by Soos and Wendy. "Stan… you guys are still here," he said, his voice shaking as tears of relief began streaming from his eyes. He embraced his sister, hugging her tightly. "You're real… you're really real!" he said as he teared up.
Mabel hugged her brother back. "Yes, I'm here, Mason," she reassured him as Stan walked over.
"We're all here for you, kiddo," Stan said as Dipper went to embrace him as well. Stan hugged him back. "Yeah, missed you too, kid."
"Hey, don't forget about us, Dipper," Soos said as he, Wendy, Candy, and Paz came over, with Waddles walking up front.
"Oh man, I am so glad to see all of you!" Dipper said as he hugged Soos while Wendy rustled his hair, Candy hugged him as well, and Paz lightly hit his arm. "I can't believe you're all really here!"
"Hey, like we said, we always got your back." Wendy told him.
"And you'll never be alone," Candy said while holding Dipper's hand. "Whatever happens next, we will face it together," she said before kissing him on the cheek.
Dipper blushed, much to Stan's surprise.
"Oh wow! You two make such a cute couple!" Mabel said, absolutely full of glee as she hugged the two.
"Gee, I really missed out a lot," Stan commented while rubbing the back of his head. "Seriously, when did this happen?"
"Mystery Mountain, it involved a spider-lady trying to eat us," Paz explained.
Dipper was smiling before he noticed Gravity Falls. His smile fell as he pulled away from Candy and Mabel, walking over to the edge of the cliff. He could see the walking water tower, the giant Gompers, the Fearamid with the Rift above it, and the town in ruins. His face became pained with guilt.
"Oh man…" Dipper said as he lowered his head. "I can't believe that I broke the world…"
"Hey, the world's not completely broken yet," Mabel said as she walked up next to him. "I promise you, Dipper, that we will find a way to fix this. Together," she said with a determined look.
Dipper looked over at her and when he saw her determination, he nodded. "Yeah, together," he agreed.
Meanwhile, back in Camila's bubble…
SHATTER!
After breaking the window of a nearby van, Nora stuck her hand in and opened the door. Masha went in to hot wire it. "Hurry! Get in!" she told Clara and Gus as they rushed inside the van.
"Things really did take a dark turn!" Gus exclaimed as they got in.
"Start the van!" Abigail shouted while she and Camila held up bats. In front of them were all of the Gatesfield residents including the Gates family, the Nocedas, Angel, the officers, Clara's former friends, and the fake Luke, Gus G, Dana, Rudo, Perry, Vaggie, Amity, and Willow.
"Why are you all leaving?" Angel asked with a wicked smile. "The party's just getting started!"
"You can't leave now!" Vaggie shouted before stretching her arms out to try to grab Gus P. out of the van. Fortunately, this was prevented by Camila swinging the bat down on her outstretched arms.
"I got it!" Masha announced as the engine started.
"Quickly, get in!" Abby shouted as she and Camila dove into the van. Once the doors were closed, Nora was about to start driving until suddenly a hand slammed on the window. Nora was shocked, seeing her fake son.
"Why are you leaving, mom?" the fake Gus G. asked while trying to open the door. "You can't leave me and dad!"
"Sorry," Nora said before shifting the break, pulling out and backing away, which ran over some of the duplicates. She brushed off the fake Gus G. "But you're not my actual son!"
Nora then drove through the duplicates that were in their way. One Jacob Hopkins duplicate grabbed onto the windshield, roaring at them. But Nora managed to knock him off.
"RAAAAH!" fake Jacob cried while rolling away.
"Isn't that that Hopkins guy?!" Camila asked in shock.
"Yeah, even in this world he's a weirdo!" Masha shouted.
As Nora continued to drive, someone stepped in front of them.
"NOOOOOOOO!" the fake Officer Barns cried out with his hand up, as if he was trying to stop them from escaping.
"Is he… is he not moving?!" Clara asked.
"Sorry, Barns," Nora said before running over the officer.
"NNOOOO-!" Barns was hit and flew over the van before hitting the road.
Masha looked out the back, seeing the townspeople chasing after them. In particular, she saw the fake versions of Amity and Willow riding on their staffs, Perfect-Luz riding with Amity. The fake Willow was summoning plants and attempting to cut them off, Nora having to swerve wildly to avoid crashing into huge vines. "They're gaining on us!"
"I got an idea!" Gus shouted as he summoned his staff and drew a big spell circle. "Time for a little confusion!" he shouted as his eyes glowed blue and he used the spell circle to create multiple copies of the van, each copy driving off into different directions, confusing the townsfolk.
"Where did they go?" a fake Pigtails asked.
"They went that way!" the fake Rudo pointed out, pointing in a direction.
"No, this way!" the fake Joseph shouted, pointing in a different direction.
"I'm so confused!" the fake Dana cried out as the duplicates argued over which direction the van drove in.
Back to the real van, Nora drove toward the community gates of Gatesfield. "So long Gatesfield… again," Masha said as the van drove through the gates… which instantly caused the bubble around them to pop.
The van suddenly vanished and the group of six ended up in the air. "AAAAH!" they screamed as they fell down. But luckily for them, their landing was a lot softer than it would have been otherwise, since they fell onto a pile of mattresses.
Abigail got up and looked around. "Is everyone alright?" she asked worriedly.
"We're fine, mom!" Clara confirmed as she, Gus, and Masha got up.
"I'm good," Nora said while getting up along with Camila.
"Did you guys make this pile of mattresses?" Camila asked them.
"No, but I think we got Rocky to thank," Masha said.
"Rocky?" Abigail asked until she spotted the Creature standing nearby.
"Claaaara, okaaay?" spoke Rocky, who waved to them, much to the shock of Abigail and Camila.
"We're fine, Rocky!" Clara waved back to him.
"Clara…" Camila said. "That wouldn't happened to be Franken-"
"Rocky," Gus clarified. "He prefers his new name, Rocky. Rather than the Creature or as his creator's monster."
"Oh, well… it's nice meeting you, Rocky," Camila told the Creature.
As everyone climbed off the mattresses, they took a moment to recover. Nora looked at the pile of ash from the bubble, realizing that everyone in that fake town was now just… gone.
"Hey, are you alright, Mrs. Gordon?" Gus P. asked her.
Nora sighed. "Just… thinking what that bubble created to try to keep us there. But… I know we have to move on."
"Yeah, I know that feeling," Gus said, sighing as well.
Masha checked in on Clara. "You alright, Clara?" she asked her.
"Yeah, I'm good," Clara responded, though she couldn't help but think about the twins, who she lost sight of when things got crazy in there. She looked down, thinking about how they were now just… gone. Although it wasn't like they could have survived. It seemed like everything the bubble created vanished after it popped, including the twins. But even if they were fake, Clara had enjoyed meeting the twins. If they had been her siblings… she thinks she would have liked them.
"Clara!" Abigail shouted as she rushed over to check on her. "Are you alright? Are you hurt anywhere at all?"
"Don't worry, mom, I'm okay," Clara reassured her before her mom hugged her tightly.
"Thank god you're alright," Abigail responded. "If… if you want to talk about what happened earlier…" she said while trying to not sound awkward about it.
"Um… maybe we can put a pin in that until later when we're safe," Clara suggested, looking a bit awkward. "Right now, let's just head to the Mystery Shack."
Abigail gave her a nod. "Yeah, we should," said before turning to Camila, who immediately diverted her gaze.
They both still remembered what happened in the bubble and they were both still clearly embarrassed by it. As they and the others began to walk back to the Mystery Shack, they avoided eye contact with each other. They also avoided speaking to each other.
It made the trip to the Shack a very silent and awkward one.
Meanwhile, in the Fearamid, all of the Henchmaniacs were back inside, sporting injures from their collision with the shield. Bill was not looking pleased.
"Alright, can anybody around here explain to me why, even with our newfound INFINITE POWER!" His lightning shot around and hit the columns, scaring his buddies. "None of us can escape the borders of this STUPID HICK TOWN?!"
He sat back on his throne made out of frozen statues of the townsfolk. "There's some kind of force field keeping us in, but who would know how to fix it?" he said before looking at the golden Ford statue. "Hmm, maybe someone needs to come out of retirement…" he said as his eye shifted into images of the pages from Ford's journals.
"Bill!" shouted Keyhole, the blue humanoid being with a keyhole shaped head. "Um, sorry, Boss. But Preston failed! Both Dipper and Camila's bubbles have popped!"
"WHAT?!" Bill shouted as he grew angry, his body glowing red. "Fetch me Peston this instant!"
Meanwhile, the Mystery Shack gang were walking through the woods, stopping when they saw the old Mystery Shack.
"The old Mystery Shack, left in shambles and far from perfect… just how we like it," Dipper said, smiling. Sure, it didn't look as clean as the Shack from the bubble. But that just made it more real.
"Oh man, this is the first time I've ever felt happy going to my old job," Wendy said as they ran towards it.
"Hello, old house. Hello, old porch. Hello, wads of gum I left stuck to the couch," Mabel said.
"I'll admit, it's good to be back here," Pacifica said.
"Yeah," Candy said before looking at Stan. "How do you feel Mr. Pines?"
Stan was lingering behind everyone else. He was taking a long look. Not just at the Shack. But at everyone else as well. He sighed to himself, thinking about how much he had missed this while in prison.
"I'll be fine," he told Candy. "It's just… good to be home."
Dipper went to reach for the handle for the front door, but he stopped when he heard something inside. "Wait, what was that?" he whispered.
"Someone's in the shack," Stan said as his eyes narrowed. After sharing a look, Dipper picked up a golf club while Stan prepared his fists.
Wendy held up her ax, Soos turned his hat backwards and pounded his fists, Paz tightened her sweater, Candy prepared her slingshot, and Mabel held up a bat.
"Let's get'em, dudes," Soos said.
Stan was the one who kicked the door opened as they all screamed. "Yaaaahhh!"
"YAAAAAAH!" cried Camila, Abigail, Nora, Masha, Clara, Gus, Rocky, Bigfoot, Vee, Sheriff Blubs, the woodpecker guy, Celestabelle, Chutzpar, Pituitaur, a Bats Biker, Ariel, Tiffany, Old Man McGucket, and some Gnomes and pixies as they assumed fighting stance.
"Wait, Camila?" Dipper asked, pausing.
"Dipper?" Camila asked in surprise.
"Mabel, Stan?" Gus asked, shocked to see the two.
Suddenly, the sound of a toilet flushing was heard and poking his multiple heads out of the bathroom was the Multi-Bear. "Just so everyone knows, we're out of toilet paper," he said while looking back and forth. "Did I miss something?"
Dropping their weapons, Dipper and Mabel rushed to the others.
"Oh man, Camila, Mrs. Gates, Gus, you guys are alright!" Dipper shouted as he hugged Camila while Mabel did the same.
"I'm so glad that you kids are alright," Camila responded, but she was confused by Mabel and Stan. "When did you guys get here?"
"It's a long story, but we're glad that you're alright," Mabel said while looking around, her expression hopeful. "Is Luz here?"
"Afraid not," Abigail said, causing Mabel's face to fall. "She hasn't returned from the Demon Realm, but we're glad to see some more familiar faces."
"Wait, is that Frankenstein's monster over there?" Wendy asked while pointing to Rocky.
"Grrrrr," Rocky snarled.
"No, no, he prefers Rocky," Clara corrected.
"Oh, like that famous boxer from the movies," Soos indicated.
"No, wrong Rocky," Masha told him.
Pacifica spotted Tiffany and Ariel. "Oh my gosh, Tiffany, Ariel…" she said, sounding awkward since she fought against their duplicates not so long ago.
"Pacifica! OMG, you're alright!" shouted Ariel, the magenta haired white girl with a now dirty blue dress.
"Like, we thought you became a statue like everyone else in town," said Tiffany, the dark-skinned girl with puffy brown hair and a red dress.
"So… what's everyone doing here?" Dipper asked them.
"Yeah, there's monsters, gnomes, pixies and… Bigfoot?" Mabel asked as she looked over at Bigfoot, who waved at them.
"Hi, I was just passing through the woods here when this whole thing went down," Bigfoot said.
"It's… it's a long story," the Multi-Bear said while near a vent with the head of a wax figure inside.
"Hey, it's me, Wax Jerry Seinfeld," said the head of Wax Jerry Seinfeld from the vents. "Wanna know what's the deal with this end of the world situation? I haven't gotten my num-nums yet."
"We're trying to ration our food, remember?" Vee told him before feeling her hair getting munched on by the wax head. "Uh, guys, he's doing it again!" she said before the Multi-Bear closed the vents, saving Vee's hair. "Thanks, Multi-Bear."
"No problem, old friend," the Multi-Bear responded kindly.
"Hey everyone!" Pituitaur shouted, earning everyone's attention. "Eye-bat!" he shouted as he pointed outside, a hovering Eye-Bat nearby.
"Evasive maneuvers!" a gnome shouted as everyone gasped.
"Shh, keep it down," Blubs told them as he slammed the door shut and got everyone to keep it down while he dimmed the lights.
The survivors stayed still and quiet, including Mabel's group who stayed away from the windows while the pixies hid inside the vents.
The Eye-Bat continued to look around outside until it spotted a scampering raccoon. It turned it to stone and flew off with it, leaving the area… for now.
Once the Eye-Bat was gone, Gus drew a light spell to give everyone some light. Everyone sighed in collective relief.
"So… what's all of this?" Mabel asked.
"Welcome to what's left of normalcy around here," Blubs informed her as he led everyone to the living room, which had more survivors in it, including Toby Determined, who was having darts pulled out of him by gnomes.
Sitting on a log was a white-clad boy band known as Sev-ral Times. "We have… Several Injuries!" they sang before they groaned. "Oh, ow!" "Ow, my liver, girl!"
"Even Rumble McSkirmish is here?" Dipper asked in surprise, seeing the video game character.
"Do not be afraid," Rumble assured him. "Weirdmageddon has taught me there are some battles I cannot win. I am now Humble McSkirmish," he said as a digital '-50 despair' popped up next to him.
"It was horrible! It was… neeeeigh!" Celestlebella cried, getting worked up before Abigail sat down next to her, petting the poor unicorn and letting her rest her head in her lap. "So much chaos. All my friends…"
"Shh, there, there. It's okay," Abigail said while stroking the rainbow mane that lost some of its color. She could hear the unicorn sniffing sadly.
Candy was looking around when she spotted someone, causing her to freeze. "Grenda…!"
"Candy!" Grenda shouted as she turned to them. Sitting next to her was Steam Punk, both of them having survived. Grenda got up and ran over to tightly hug her friends. "Mabel! Dipper! Paz! You guys are alright!"
"Wow, you two made it out here?" Paz asked, though she was glad to see them alright.
"We just recently arrived from the back thanks to our big-footed friend," Steam Punk explained while pointing to Bigfoot. "We did manage to get away from those imps, but unfortunately Gideon and the Ghost-Eyes weren't fortunate," he said, both he and Grenda looking down sadly.
"Oh no…" Mabel said while looking down. "Poor Gideon…"
"Gideon? He's out of juvie?" Dipper asked in surprise.
"Yeah, and he helped escort us to your bubble while dealing with Preston, who pretty much became a literal monster after making a deal with Bill," Mabel explained.
"Don't worry, I gave him a good old knuckle sandwich," Stan told him.
Dipper smiled. "I appreciate that, Grunkle Stan. But still, I… never got a chance to see Gideon. He really did help you guys, huh?"
"Yeah, he wasn't a bad kid after all," Wendy said with a sad sigh, appreciating what Gideon has done for them.
Dipper just looked at the floor, not saying anything else.
"So how did this happen?" Mabel asked the others.
"Well, once the sky began vomiting demons and nightmares, Masha suggested we hide out at the Mystery Shack for shelter," Gus explained. "Thanks to Ford's unicorn barrier thing he and those agents built, this place is protected from the chaos and weirdness."
"Of course, the unicorn spell," Dipper realized. "That's why this is the only place Bill's magic can't touch."
"When me and Vee ran into the others, they let us in and with me as sheriff, I became in charge of this shelter," Blubs said. "And to our luck, Old Man McGucket came with some injured stragglers through the forest, including Bigfoot and Rocky over here."
"Yeah, I met Rocky a few days into us staying here," Clara said while patting Rocky. "He was injured when I found him and he was hiding in the woods. He was an escapee from Department A, running from his creator. Or trying to take him down, right?" she asked him as Rocky shifted his hand in motion. "Oh, a little bit of both."
"I'm glad that you're alright, McGucket," Steam said to McGucket, who turned to him.
"Hey, I recognize ya," McGucket said while pointing to Steam. "You were at the mad scientist convention last week!"
Steam gasped. "Oh my gosh, he remembered me!" he shouted, feeling giddy like a fan.
"So where have you guys been?" Masha asked the Mystery Shack group. "Like why are Mabel and Stan back? Shouldn't you be like, in prison, Stan?"
"Well, long story short, the agents actually came to us for help," Stan explained. "Turns out there's some prophecy that me, Mabel, and Dipper are involved with that could be the key in stopping Bill."
"Prophecy?" Vee asked in confusion.
"Yeah, and we had to get Dipper out of that bubble trap that Bill had him in," Mabel explained. "Bill trapped him in some kind of fantasy bubble where everything looked like the town before Weirdmageddon hit it."
"Yeah," Dipper confirmed. "It was like some kind of-"
"Lotus-eater machine?" Dipper and Masha said simultaneously while Dipper looked over to her. "Yeah, we were on a similar bubble adventure."
"That's right," Mabel remembered. "Bill trapped Camila in a bubble too." She looked over at Camila. "Are you alright, Mrs. Noceda?"
"I'll… be fine," Camila said while glancing at Abigail, who was still with the unicorn.
"My mom was trapped as well," Clara explained. "A lot of… awkward and embarrassing stuff happened in that bubble."
Meanwhile, Paz was handed some rations of canned food. "Canned bread?" she asked.
"It was some of the food old man Pines had in his food storage," Tiffany explained as the three girls sat together. "I think he has been preparing for something like this for a while. But that aside, we're really glad that you're okay, Paz."
"Yeah, I'm glad you two are alright as well," Pacifica responded while looking down. "Even though we haven't really spoken since our big fight back at that Sev'ral Times concert…"
"Yeah, we remembered that…" Ariel said, as the three remembered what happened between them.
At the Sev'ral Times concert, Pacifica had ended up arguing with Tiffany and Ariel.
"What is with you, Paz?!" Tiffany demanded. "Ever since you started to hang out with those losers, you've been hanging out with us less!"
"Yeah, I thought this concert was our chance to hang, just the three of us!" Ariel complained. "You're so much better than them anyway!"
"Hey, I get to decide who is good enough to be friends with me, not you two!" Paz declared while in the background the Sev'ral Times members were fighting clones of themselves while Mabel, Candy, and Grenda were fighting the crooked manager. "And maybe… maybe I don't want to be friends with you two anyway! After all, we only hang out because my parents chose you! We're not even that close!"
"I can't believe you would think that about us!" Tiffany shouted at her before she and Arial turned around. "Fine then! Goodbye Pacifica Northwest, enjoy your time in loserville!"
Back in the present, the three girls were remembering their terrible argument. All looked down, feeling pretty awkward until Ariel spoke up.
"Pacifica… we want to apologize for what happened back then," she said.
"Yeah, and we have been wanting to reach out to you ever since we learned about what you had to deal with your dad, but we didn't know if you wanted to see us or not," Tiffany said with a sigh. "We're sorry, for everything."
"If someone should apologize, it should be me," Paz admitted. "I should've handled myself better back then."
"I mean, what you said was true," Ariel pointed out.
"Maybe…" Paz said with a sigh. "But I'm still glad that you two are alright."
"Thanks, Paz," Ariel told her before she and Tiffany looked down. "But our families weren't so lucky…"
"Yeah, they were frozen by those Eye-Bats," Tiffany said as she sniffed.
"I'm so sorry, guys, and I know how you two feel… my mom was also captured," Pacifica said as she teared up while thinking about it. After a moment, the three girls ended up hugging each other.
"We're so sorry about that, Paz," Tiffany said as she sniffed.
"Yeah, we're sorry," Ariel added as they hugged.
"T-thank you," Pacifica said as she embraced them. "Both of you…"
Meanwhile, Abigail was still stroking Celestebelle, which was therapeutic for both of them, when Clara walked over to her mom. "Hey, mom."
"Yes, Clara?" Abigail asked her while looking up.
"I'm… ready to talk," Clara said while sitting beside her. Celestebelle looked up, realizing that the mother and daughter could probably use some privacy.
"I'll leave you two be," the unicorn said as she moved aside, leaving Abigail and Clara alone.
Abigail looked at her daughter, guilt and shame written on her face. "Clara, I just want to say how sorry I am. I didn't mean to upset you and burden you with what you learned in the bubble-"
"No, no mom, it's alright," Clara told her. "I mean, sure, I was upset about it. But then, I thought about it… and I know that you weren't happy with dad." She looked down while Abigail watched her daughter in silence. "And I wasn't happy with how things were at home either. As much as I wanted to believe that my parents loved each other… that never was the case, was it?"
After a moment to think about her answer, Abigail sighed. "Yes. Me and your father… we both love you, and it's not your fault that I don't love him."
"I know," Clara said. "But after this, we do need to have a long talk with dad. Because things need to change, and while change can be scary… I'm ready to face it," she said while patting her mom's hand. "If the next step is divorce… then I'm willing to accept that's how it has to be. Especially since even though you and dad may not love each other, I know that I still love you two."
Abigail struggled to hold back tears as she hugged her daughter. "If anything else, I don't regret my marriage to your father. Because you came from it and you were the best thing to happen to me."
Clara smiled at this and hugged her mom back, but she still had to ask. "So… what are you going to do about Camila?"
Abigail looked over to Camila, who was checking in on Wendy and helping to bandage her. She noticed her but quickly avoided Abigail's gaze, focusing on Wendy. Abigail sighed.
"We're not ready to talk yet," Abigail told Clara.
While looking around, Stan spotted something on the floor. "Hey, I was wondering where this is," he said as he picked up his old fez and put it on. "Yup, still fits."
"So other than taking shelter, what else have you guys been doing around here?" Dipper asked Blubs and Vee.
"Well, we did find a radio," Vee said while pointing at the radio. "We've been trying to get a signal to the outside world."
"Sadly, no luck," Blubs responded while looking down. "Which makes us worried that the rest of the world may have already fallen…"
"Actually, it hasn't thanks to the barrier around the town," Mabel pointed out.
"Barrier?" Gus asked.
"Yeah, turns out there's a barrier around the borders of the town that's containing all the weirdness and keeping it from spreading," Stan explained. "So right now, the government is working on how to deal with this."
"Yeah, they expected us to go in and defeat Bill and save everyone," Steam said. "We can get in and out of there, but Bill and his chaos minions can't. They're trapped."
"Then I say we can make a break for the border and escape!" Jeff the gnome suggested.
"Yeah, I agree with the gnome!" Chutzpar declared.
"Hold up, what about the townspeople?" Vee brought up. "We can't just leave them behind."
"She's right," Blubs agreed. "There's no way we could leave our family and friends with Bill."
"But the problem is we don't know where they are," Nora said solemnly. "We don't know where those Eye-Bats took them."
"This is Shandra Jimenez reporting live from Bill's castle!"
This got everyone's attention as they turned to see that the TV was on. They saw Shandra, who was missing parts of her hair, but was more shocked to see her actually inside Bill's castle, hiding from his Henchmaniacs.
"Here for the first time are images of what's happened to the captured townsfolk," Shandra said as the camera moved to show Bill's large throne. "Viewers are advised to look away if they don't want to see their friends turned into a twisted throne of human agony."
Everyone gasped when they saw the frozen statue bodies of everyone in town. This included Priscilla, Manly Dan and his sons, Robbie and other teens, Durland, Gus G., Dana and Rudo, Perry, Ivy, and Megan.
"My mom?!" Pacifica exclaimed in shock.
"My family!" Wendy said in horror.
"Durland! Megan! Ivy!" Blubs and Vee exclaimed together.
"Augustus… no…" Nora was shaken after seeing her frozen son as part of Bill's throne.
"Dad…" Gus said, his worst fears coming true.
"Is there no one who will save the people of this town?" Shandra asked while an Eye-Bat spotted her and hovered over her. "I'm Shandra Jimenez, and I'm being turned into stone by a flying eyeball," she said before being completely turned to stone as the camera turned to static.
"Oh my god… no, not mom," Pacifica said in tears while Mabel hugged her. "She… she doesn't deserved this!"
"Curse you, Bill!" Blubs shouted as he fell to his knees, tears streaming from his eyes as he took his shades off. "Why must you take everything we love!" he cried as he ripped his shirt open while in despair, Vee going to hug him while also in tears.
Everyone else looked down, saddened by the fates of their loved ones. But while they were reacting to the news, Mabel climbed up on top of the Multi-Bear.
"Guys, don't you see?" she asked, drawing everyone's attention. "Our friends need us, but we can only save them if we fight back."
Dipper was pulled up by Mabel to join her. "Mabel's right. Bill wants us to run and hide. He wants us to think he's invincible. But he has been beaten before and Ford knew of a way to defeat him, a prophecy. And we need him for it." This got everyone talking amongst each other, wondering if what Dipper was saying was true. "Now, if we band together, if we combine all of our strengths, our smarts, our… whatever Toby has…"
"Various rashes!" Toby declared.
"Then we just might be able to rescue Ford, learn about this prophecy, and save Gravity Falls!" Dipper declared, getting everyone to cheer for the twin's speech.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, wait a minute!" Blubs shouted as he grabbed everyone's attention. "As self-appointed acting Mayor, we can't just go out and take on that giant chaos dorito. We're safer here at the Shack."
"He's right," Vee agreed while looking down sadly. "Plus, where me and Gus are from, petrification is non-reversible. At least, it is the Demon Realm. Quite honestly, I don't know how it works here in this realm."
"Vee is correct," Gus said, looking doubtful. "We have no idea what the current condition of the townsfolk can be reversed or not."
"Now, I don't know about that," Steam said while walking over. "From my experience, petrification can be reversed, either by science or magic, or both."
"Well, even if there is a way, it's not like we could all fight Bill," Vee said. "We'd have to take the whole Shack to face him."
It was then McGucket started to shake, doing his little jig. "Whoa… whoa! Holy hootenanny! Flapjack and fiddlebanjos!" he shouted as he shook around before he stopped. "Sorry, sorry. Got a little excited." He smacked his knee to stop his thumping foot. "What I meant to say is that I think I figured out a way to fight Bill and rescue everyone. But we're all gonna have to work together."
He snapped his fingers as the pixies put glasses on him and he gathered everyone around to talk about his plan…
Back in Bill's Fearamid, Ford was turned back to normal, freeing him from his golden prison.
"Let me go, you insane three-sided-!" he shouted before looking around in confusion. "What… what is this place?!" he asked, seeing he was in some kind of lounge with a portrait of Bill above the fireplace. He tried to move, only to realize that his leg was chained to a couch.
"We'll meet again…"
Hearing Bill singing, Ford turned to see Bill rising up from blue flames while playing the piano. "Don't know where, don't know when… oh, I know we'll meet again some sunny day~!"
"Bill!" Ford shouted to him. "Where am I?!"
"You're in the penthouse suite, kid! The tip of the pyramid!" Bill responded while holding a martini glass filled with a drink. He snapped his fingers for Ford to have one. "Have a drink. Make yourself comfortable!" he said while taking a sip with his eye.
Ford narrowed his eyes at him as he sat down, just as Bill mentioned "Oh, you know that couch is made from living human skin?"
Hearing the couch groan as eyes, nose, and a mouth appeared, Ford jumped up. "AAH! Quit the games, Cipher! If I'm still alive, you must want something from me."
"Ah sharp as ever, Fordsy," Bill responded. "As you may have noticed… I've recently had a multi-dimensional makeover." He started rearranging the room, like making Ford float or changing the particles around it. "I can control space, matter, and now with that dumb baby out of the way, time itself! But I wasn't always this way."
Ford fell on the floor after feeling Bill changing the matter in reverse. He looked up as Bill began to monologue. "You think those chains are tight? Imagine living in a second dimension, flat minds in a flat world with flat dreams…" His eye showed a planet on a two-dimensional plane, which burned. "I liberated my dimension, Stanford, and I'm here to liberate yours. There's just one hitch…" His eye projected all of Gravity Falls trapped under a dome. "As it turns out, my weirdness can't escape the magical confines of this town. There's something keeping me in."
"Incredible!" Ford responded while looking at the projection. "This must be Gravity Fall's natural law of weirdness magnetism. I studied this years ago…"
"And did you find a way to undo it?" Bill asked him.
"Of course," Ford confirmed. "It's just a simple math equation that can collapse the barrier, but I'd never tell you!"
Bill looked at Ford. "Listen, Ford. If you just tell me that equation, finally your dimension will be free!" he declared as he made his offer. "Think about it, anything will be possible. I'll remake a fun world… a better world! A party that never ends with a host that never dies! No more restrictions! No more laws! You'd be one of us! All-powerful, greater than anything you've imagined! And all I need is your help!"
"You're insane if you think I'll help you!" Ford told him off.
"Hahaha! I'm insane either way, brainiac," Bill said. "But have it your way. I'll just… fish around and get that equation directly out of your mind!" he shouted while he left his physical form and prepared to enter the mental realm.
"Nah-ah-ah! Not so fast!" Ford told him. "You know the rules, Bill! You may be able to haunt my dreams, but you can't enter my mind unless I shake your hand and let you in!"
This got Bill to return into his physical form, sighing. "You're making this so much harder than it needs to be," he said as he summoned chains to bound Ford. "Everyone has a weakness, tough guy! I'll make you talk! It's only a matter of time…"
And Ford's screams echoed from the Fearamid.
Back in the Mystery Shack, McGucket was showing everyone his blueprints.
"Alright, I've made some thingamadiculous robomajigs in my day, but this is the first one that won't be used for evil," McGucket told them.
"This time?" Nora asked in concern.
"Best not to ask," Camila told her.
"I also vaguely remember this one doohickey that Ford had," McGucket said. "He made some kind of invention that could actually undo petrification."
"Wait, really?" Vee asked him, Gus looking interested as well.
"Yup! It was of the many experiments that he worked on in this Shack and it might still be in his lab," Ford explained. "I think he had to use it on me after I was petrified while working with him… yeah, I'm starting to remember why I wanted those memories erased."
As everyone looked at his blueprints, they found themselves amazed. "Whoa! These blueprints are incredible McGucket," Dipper commented.
"This is your most amazing invention yet," Mabel responded.
"Yeah, you'd put the Abominations Coven to shame," Gus complimented.
"I'd say," Steam replied with a whistle. "This is your finest work yet. I'd be honored to work alongside you to help build this, sir."
"Thanks, I could use some extra-hands," McGucket said.
"Question, does it have any gun-swords? I watch a lot of anime, and, uh, trust me, you're gonna want some gun-swords," Soos said.
"What's an 'anime'?" McGucket asked him.
"We have much to discuss," Soos told him.
"Indeed," Steam said. "I also watch a lot of old school anime. I'm familiar with all kinds of mecha-series."
"Wow, you're an anime fan too, dude?!" Soos asked in excitement.
"I've seen a lot, and I can just say, Toriyama makes the best motor-vehicle designs," Steam said.
"Heh, nerds," Wendy said with a smirk.
"Um, excuse me?!" Steam asked, overhearing Wendy and looking offended.
"Whoa, dude, chill," Wendy reassured him. "I just meant that as a term of endearment, since I like nerds."
This surprised Steam, making him smile. "I see, well, that's um… yeah, I am a nerd," he said with pride.
"Um, hey, excuse me," spoke Wax Jerry Seinfeld's head, who snuck out from the vents. "I know that everyone's excited about building a giant robot and anything, but why shouldn't we just leave this town and trust the government to deal with this? Doesn't that make sense?"
Everyone turned to look at the head of Wax Seinfeld… before they burst into laughter at his suggestion.
"Trust the government, can you believe this guy?" Stan asked a gnome while laughing along, Wax Seinfeld just rolling his eyes.
"Suddenly, I missed Wax Sherlock," Wax Jerry said.
"The government had their chance," Mabel pointed out. "But now, it's our turn to take back the Falls…"
Meanwhile, at a checkpoint that was set up on the road to Gravity Falls, some of the guards standing noticed a convoy of vehicles approaching.
"What's that?" one asked.
"I don't know, but we better report-" But the soldier felt a dart to his neck, making him fall down onto the road. Another got hit with a dart as well, followed by the other soldiers. One by one they fell down. All taken out by a hidden sniper. This allowed the convoys to continue on.
Back with the agents outside of the barrier, they were walking through the civilian camp while still discussing their next move.
"At the very least, we should move the civilians and the camp further away from the barrier, since I don't like how close they are right now," Spike suggested. "That will be a temporary solution until we can find a place to hold all these displaced civilians."
Li then noticed some vehicles approaching the area. "Look!"
Everyone turned to see the vehicles coming over to them from down the road. "Did somebody call them in?" Brown asked.
"No… no one did," Li replied as she drew her weapon. Brown, Spike, and the rest of the agents did the same.
"Just our day, an uninvited convoy," Brown muttered as he held his weapon up to them.
The convoy stopped and the civilians looked at these new vehicles in confusion. This included Rachel Jones, who was curious despite being still shaken up.
"Step out of the vehicles and identify yourselves!" Spike demanded while holding his gun. A second later, they saw someone step out of the lead vehicle… a woman that they recognized.
"Motherfucker…" Li said as she and Brown looked in shock at their unexpected visitor.
"Director Gates," Brown said as he narrowed his eyes at the wanted woman from Department A.
"Greetings, agents," Angel Gates said with a smirk.
"Put your hands in the air, Gates!" Spike demanded as all the agents trained their guns on her.
"Don't even think of trying anything!" another agent shouted as Angel calmly raised her hand.
"Why are you here?" Li demanded while glaring at the woman.
Angel just smiled throughout the whole thing. "Why, I'm here to save the world, of course…"
This did go unheard by Rachel Jones, who stared at Angel Gates with a look of hope.
Back in the woods of Gravity Falls, underneath where Camila's bubble had been, there was movement in a bush. After some rustling, two people emerged from the bush, covered in bruises they got from the fall.
"Whoa… we survived!" shouted the first person… Mosely.
"But where are we?" Mary asked while looking around at the forest.
"I think… I think this is reality," Moseley realized.
"Wait, does that mean… we're real?" Mary asked. "But… how?"
"I don't know sis." Mosely said while they walked through the forest, seeing the effects of Weirdmageddon. "You know, I once read that Jean-Paul Sartre postulated that every existing thing is born without reason, prolongs itself out of weakness, and dies by chance…"
"You've been reading too many philosophy books, Mosely," Mary said while looking around. "But… real or not, we'll just have to make the most of it."
"Yeah," her brother agreed. "Do you… do you think mom and Clara made it out okay?"
"I hope so," Mary said with a sigh while the two walked through the forest, trying to avoid falling victim to the chaos…
Well, what a ride on this adaptation to "Escape From Reality."
So… yeah, the episode we adapted on is considered the most controversial episode of Gravity Falls. Admittedly, it's not the best episode. While the episode was well-intentioned with its message, it does make Mabel very unsympathetic for the most of the episode and it doesn't help that the episode never addresses that Mabel unintentionally caused Weirdmageddon by giving Bill the rift, or that Soos and Wendy were both useless in the episode, both of them easily giving into the temptations of Mabeland and offering Dipper no help when he goes on trial.
So we've decided to fix that in the Luz Clawthorne version of the episode. We tried a different approach by swapping Dipper and Mabel's roles and having Dipper's guilt play a large role in the chapter.
Originally, the Weirdmageddon arc was going to be two chapters, not three. But while we were editing the last chapter, specifically the interactions between Abigail and Nora, we asked ourselves the question: "What if Abigail was trapped in a bubble?" that's when we realized that had a lot of story potential, so while editing we added the second bubble so that this chapter could have a new plotline about saving Camila and Abigail.
Originally, we weren't supposed to see Camila, Gus, and the Gatesfield characters again until Mabel's group returned to the Mystery Shack. But we've realized this plotline could be an opportunity for character development as a way to cap off the arcs for these characters in Book Two. Hence Camila's bubble.
And of course, regarding about Abigail and her miscarriage. It was an idea that we had a while ago, although we originally did not intend to reveal it here. We thought it would add more context to Abigail's depression. Also, Abigail singing "I'm Still Here" from Treasure Planet was an idea we've had for even longer, an idea we decided to finally implement here.
(JP's side-note: Hey, I just want to write this on a personal note that as this has hit both me and Buck when writing about Abigail's miscarriage which does remind me of a close family member has experienced with miscarriage a lot before me and my sibling were born. So this goes out to anyone who had to experience similarly, or knows a family member or close friend with the same experience.)
As for Rachel Jones… well, we leave you readers to guess what the twist with her is.
Also yeah, since Larry King's death is still kinda recent, we've decided to replace him that in the LCU, it's Wax Jerry Seinfeld that is the surviving living Wax Museum statue. Figured he'd be a good replacement.
Also to mentioned, about he petrification thing where the towns people are. Given how serious it is in The Owl House, we didn't want it to be so easily reversible here. Because them just pulling Tyler Cutebiker out and freeing everyone like in canon… feels like it undermines how horrifying something like this should be.
We've also noticed upon rewatching that we've noticed that Pacifica's old friends, Tiffany and Ariel, were actually among those in the Mystery Shack. So we decided to give them a scene. Previously, we've imagined Paz had a falling out with them during the offscreen events of "Boyz Crazy", which played out differently in this universe. And Ariel's name is a reference to Alex Hirsch's sister, who voiced her and Tiffany.
Oh, and one more thing we want to mentioned. Me and Buck have decided to end Book 2 at Chapter 142, not 140. We've made that choice for pacing reasons.
Next time, the end of Weirdmageddon, and what does Angel have up in her sleeve? Will our heroes defeat Bill? Stay tuned and find out…
