Chapter 2
Rachel returned back to the Grant Mansion after a long day at work. "Oh, what a day," she said. "So glad to be home."
Sasha came to greet her sister. "Hey, sis. How was your day?" She asked with a smile.
"It was good," she said. "A bit long, but good." Rachel then looked around, but didn't see Gregory anywhere, which was odd as he was usually nearby when she arrived home from work. "Hey, have you seen Gregory, sis?"
"No, I haven't seen Gregory today in fact now that you mention it, I haven't seen Freddy or the others around here too when I came back from work earlier today," Sasha said.
"I wonder where he went," the older sister said.
"Well, why not call him and see where he is, no doubt he's with Freddy or the others."
"Alright."
But when she called her son, he didn't respond and she got his voicemail. "He's not picking up," she said in worry.
"That's not like him," Sasha said. "Don't you have like a tracker on his phone or something like that?"
"Let me check," Rachel said as she did so. "There he is," she said as the signal popped up.
Sasha took a look. "Isn't that the location of the Mega Pizzaplex?"
"It is, but why would Gregory be there?" Rachel asked. "He told us there was nothing left after he and Freddy escaped the fire and Vanny, so why would he go back?" She then set her jaw. "I'm going to go investigate."
"I'll come with you," Sasha offered.
The older sister gently shook her head. "I'll be alright," she said. "And I won't be long. I need you to hold down the fort and be here in case anything happens."
Sasha hugged her sister. "Be careful, sis," she said. "Come back home safe with the others."
"We will."
At the Mega Pizzaplex...
Rachel pulled up in the old parking lot of the now ruined Mega Pizzaplex and was surprised to see that it was still standing despite the events that had transpired there. She saw that the front entrance to the building was boarded up and tried looking for another way. She then saw the scaffolding and saw there was a hole in the window of the Pizzaplex that could lead her inside. She climbed up the ladder and entered the abandoned building seeing that apparently Fazbear Entertainment tried to save this place and fix it up, but just gave up and left the Mega Pizzaplex to rot.
Using the ladder to climb down onto the floor as she grabbed a flashlight from her bag to use as a light, she looked around. "Why in the world would Gregory come back to this place? I hope Freddy or the others are with him and keeping him safe," she said quietly.
She looked around the building seeing all the graffiti on the walls but there was one that made her worried for her son as it said Don't go in alone… and knowing the history behind the company made her want to find Gregory and fast. She then saw what looked a light in the distance in the destroyed remains of Glamrock Gifts moving and she hoped it was her son.
"Hello, Gregory is that you?" She called out.
The light in the gift shop suddenly turn off. "That's odd," she said as she followed where the light was coming from, making her way through the gift shop and going upstairs to the second floor, jumping to the side to avoid getting hit by an ATM machine on a platform truck dolly that came rolling down the stairs. Now getting a bit angry, she continued and entered the top floor of the gift shop.
Suddenly, an old Security Bot turned on, scaring the young woman, who screamed and dropped her flashlight before the bot shut down completely.
Rachel sighed. "The last thing I need while I'm here is random jumpscares happening like that," she said as she picked up her flashlight, but saw a shadow on the wall where her light was pointing and it looked like someone was hiding behind the counter. "Who's there?" She asked firmly, but also evenly. "Come out. I know you're there."
The person came out of hiding and to Rachel's shock, it was a young girl who was about Gregory's age. "Oh, my word, you're just a kid," the young woman said in shock.
The girl looked uncertain and Rachel smiled gently. "It's okay, sweetie. I'm not going to hurt you," she said soothingly, noticing the girl was looking at her unsurely. "What's your name, sweetie?"
"My name is Cassie," the girl answered.
Rachel nodded. "Cassie, what are you doing here? This place is on the verge of collapsing," she said in worry.
"I'm looking for my friend. His name is Gregory. Have you seen him?" The girl asked.
"You're looking for Gregory, too?" Rachel asked.
"Yeah, he's a good friend of mine," Cassie said. "You know who he is too?"
"Of course. I'm his mother, but how did you know Gregory was here, Cassie?"
"He sent me a text saying that I should come meet him at the old ruined Mega Pizzaplex."
Rachel was confused. "Why would he text you to come here instead of calling me or texting me first?" She asked. "He knows that if he wanted to come here for any reason, I would have come with him."
"I don't know. I was just starting to look for him to see where he is," the girl said.
The young woman nodded. "Okay," she said. "Cassie, you should stay with me, hon. This place is really dangerous for a child to be in, especially wandering on your own."
"We're going to find Gregory?" The girl asked.
"Yes, because I've got a feeling he might be in danger.
The two exit the gift shop and went the elevators were as they heard a familiar voice.
"SOS! Are you there? Are you there? I'm trapped."
"That's Gregory's voice," Rachel said.
The two headed to where they heard Gregory but they saw no one was there. Cassie looked down and saw a Roxanne Wolf walkie-talkie on the ground and heard her friend's voice from it and picked it up.
"Gregory? I got your message! I'm here with your mom right now, she said she was looking for you, where are you exactly?" She asked.
"Help! Something grabbed me…It…won't let me go! You have to find me…I'm trapped in the…sinkhole under the Raceway!" Gregory said urgently.
"Under Roxy Racers? That's all the way on the other side. We're not even close," Cassie said.
"Gregory, are you okay?" Rachel asked.
Al they heard after that was just static before it was cut off.
It was quiet until Cassie spoke up. "So, how are we going to get to Roxy's Raceway, Miss umm…,"
"Rachel," the young woman said. "Rachel Jocklin. You can call me by my first name."
"Okay, but how are we going to get there though the elevators don't work anymore and I don't think there're stairs around here either," the girl pointed out.
Rachel looked inside the elevator shaft and saw a ladder. "Well, here's a ladder," she said. "Come on, we better get climbing."
They entered the shaft and Rachel took the lead with the girl following behind her as they climbed up the ladder. Suddenly, the elevator came plummeting down, scaring them as they realized they were about to get crushed. Rachel noticed a space in the wall and it was just large enough for her and the girl. Quickly, she slipped into it and grabbed Cassie, who yelped as she was yanked up quickly and pulled into a hug as Rachel used her body as a shield for the child as the elevator plummeted past them, a loud crash echoing until all was quiet.
Rachel peeked out and then looked at the child in her arms. "Cassie, are you alright?" She asked.
"I'm alright, but it looks like we're trapped here," she said, seeing the elevator was blocking the way they had entered.
"Don't worry. We'll find another way out," the young woman said reassuringly.
The two continued to climb the ladder up until they reached the end of the ladder and saw there was an open vent there. The two entered the vents and started making their way through the ventilation shaft hoping it would lead them near where they needed to be. Suddenly the vents started to fall apart as they slid right out landing on some trash, old rotten food, and bugs.
"Cassie, are you alright?" Rachel asked, worried about the girl.
"I'm okay, but eww, this is so gross," she said as she wiped the old rotten food off of her.
"I have to agree with you on that. This place is just disgusting on so many levels especially the smell," she said, looking around and seeing they were in a moldy looking kitchen. "Let's see if we can find a way out of this place."
The two walked around looking for a door that would lead them out when suddenly Ruined Chica came out, jumpscaring the two girls scaring them to death before she shut down as she was very low on power from not charging.
"Chica? What happened to you? You look awful," Cassie said.
"Chica?" Rachel asked, horrified to see what had become of the animatronic. "Oh, Chica, who did this to you?"
Cassie gently poked Chica to see if she'll get a response, but Chica didn't budge or do anything. "Is she going to be alright?" She asked.
"I don't know," Rachel said before standing straighter. "We should keep moving."
"But, what about Chica?"
Rachel looked sadly at her friend. "As much as it pains me to admit it, there is nothing we can do right now for her as she seems unstable and dangerous again. If my brothers were here, maybe they could fix her, but for now, we have to leave her here."
The two soon found the door that led them out of the kitchen and headed down the hallway which led them to a door that was locked as Rachel tried to open the door by force, but it wouldn't budge.
"Hmm, there's got to be a way to open this door, because I don't see another way to go besides retracing our steps," the young woman said.
"Hey Rachel, what's that?" Cassie asked and the young woman turned to see the girl was pointing at.
Next to the door was a panel on the wall with conduits in them and remembers what this is now. "It's a panel for the door," she replied. "One of my uncles worked here a long time ago and he used a Faz-Wrench to unlock the door."
"Maybe there's one nearby?"
The two began looking and Cassie soon found a bulky wrench with Glamrock Freddy's colors that had two big, metal prongs on the top. It was sitting on a tool box and she picked it up. "Is this what you're looking for, Rachel?"
Rachel turned and smiled. "Yes, that's it," she said.
Cassie handed her the device and Rachel plugged it into the panel, charging the conduits into their correct levels. After Rachel finished, the door automatically opened and they proceeded, walking down the stairs. When they reached the bottom, Rachel looked to her left, thinking she could've sworn she saw something large move, but decided to shrug it off and open the door to the next room, but she kept a careful eye out.
"Umm Rachel, when you said Chica seemed unstable and dangerous again, what did you mean by that?" Cassie asked.
"Well, a while back, before this place became what it is now, there was a virus that infiltrated pretty much all the animatronics, save for Sun and Freddy. This virus made them highly aggressive and dangerous," she explained. "Gregory and Freddy found out where I lived thanks to learning that my father was the handler for the three Daycare attendants. When all the animatronics came to my home, my brothers and I worked together to free them from the virus and succeeded, but it looks like either the virus is back or someone damaged my family." She paused. "Doesn't matter how it happened though, we're going to get Chica back. Somehow and as soon as we get Gregory out."
"Sounds good to me," Cassie said.
As they continued walking, they saw they reached a dead end and the large pipe in front of them was the only way they could continue forward. As they were about to enter the pipe, Monty, who was ruined badly, ambushed them as he crawled towards them at high speed and roared, making them scream. "Monty?" Rachel asked in shock before they all fell into the sewer water with Rachel and Cassie holding their breaths as the flow of the water was taking them somewhere else and soon reached the end where they could finally breath again.
Rachel started coughing. "Oh, my head," she groaned as she held her head before looking over at Cassie and helping her up. "Cassie, you alright?" She asked.
"I'm okay Rachel, but where'd that freaky Monty thing go?" The girl asked.
The young woman saw that Monty was no where to be seen. "I'm not sure. C'mon we should keep moving before he comes back," she said, saddened to see Monty was in a ruined state again.
"Where are we anyways?" Cassie asked.
Rachel turned on her flashlight and looked around. "Somewhere in Monty's Gather Golf. And I think I know where we are in this miniature golf course." She began walking. "Follow me."
The two made their way through what was left behind of Gator Golf and were surprised by what looked like a Map Bot but it had two strips of its head plating peeled up to resemble bunny ears and he held out a mask in his hands, one that was too familiar to Rachel.
"Hi! Free mask! Please take a mask! Take a mask. Take a mask," the bot said.
"Umm, okay," Cassie said, taking the mask and the bot powered down and shut off. "Weird. I don't think this is a Bonnie mask." She turned it over and saw all the electric components. "Looks at all the wires and stuff. Have you seen this mask before, Rachel?"
"I have," Rachel said. "It's a long story though."
"Hmm, I wonder," the girls aid, putting on the mask and noticing things looked different. "Cool."
"Cassie, not to be a mother hen, but maybe you shouldn't wear that mask," Rachel said in concern.
Just then, Cassie jumped as a jolt of pain hit her. "Ow! That hurt!" She exclaimed.
"What happened?" The young woman asked. "You okay?"
"Yeah im not sure what happened though. There's this weird bear here though, his name is Helpi apparently he said something about pairing my occipital transponder or something like that and said this mask is called V.A.N.N.I a Virtual Augmented Neural Network Integration unit."
The name along made Rachel uneasy. "How about you take the mask off and we'll see if it did anything suspicious?" She suggested.
Cassie managed to do so, but then was startled to see Helpi in front of her. "Ah! What are you still doing here?!"
"Cassie, who are you talking too?" Rachel asked.
"It's Helpi. I can still see him even with the mask off," the girl said.
"What's he saying?"
"Apparently, they put in a transponder implant in my head which allows him to communicate wirelessly even without the mask on."
That was concerning. "When this is all over, I'm going to have that implant removed from you," Rachel said, but her tone was gentle, so Cassie knew she was just worried.
"He also says that I should put the mask back on. Apparently, there something cool I can do with that large crate that's blocking the doorway."
She put the mask back on and started walking towards the crate and to her surprise, she walked right through it like it wasn't there. When she was on the other side of the crate she took the mask off as everything returned to normal and tap the crate seeing it was now solid. "Wait, what?"
She put the mask on again and tried to touch the box only for her hand to go through it again. When she took off the mask again, it was now solid. "That's really weird," she said. "It's like nothing was even there."
Rachel was in shock seeing Cassie walk through the crate like she was intangible just from putting the mask on. "What kind of mask is that?" She asked in worry to herself before hearing Cassie call out her name. "Cassie, you okay?"
"Yeah, but how are you going to get around the crate?" The child asked.
"I'm not sure."
Rachel walked up to the crate and tried to push it off to the side but it was way too heavy. "Alright, just stay there Cassie, I'll find another way to..."
She was interrupted by her phone going off. She reached for her phone and see the text message she got.
I had a feeling you were going to the ruined Mega Pizzaplex, so this might help you get around, check your pocket.
From X
Rachel assumed this was from Alien X and reached into her pocket and pulled out an eye mask. Curious, she put it on and saw everything around her change. It looked all digital and saw the crate change as well. She walked up to it and walked right through it like Cassie did. She then took it off seeing everything return back to normal.
"That felt so weird," she said, holding her head as she felt slightly disoriented.
"Are you okay, Rachel?" Cassie asked.
"Yeah, I just feel slightly dizzy switching from the real world to the digital one. I probably shouldn't use it much unless I need too. What about you?"
"I'm good," the child said.
Rachel nodded. "Come on, let's keep moving."
Another conduit puzzle led them to the restrooms and they went through until they were at the main area of Gator Golf. The young adult then noticed a monitor and keyboard with Glamrock Freddy's color scheme on it and she walked up to it. "What's this?" She asked.
"Helpi says it's apparently a camera station and it should work," Cassie said.
Rachel looked at the screen, seeing there were four security cameras active and on CAM_2 she saw ruined Monty crawling on the ground fast. She starts panicking seeing he was heading their direction. Rachel switched to a different camera then saw on the bottom left corner there was a flashing button labeled intercom and presses it.
"Gregory, are you there?" A voice echoed and it sounded quite familiar.
"Hey! That's my voice! How did you do that?" Cassie asked.
"I don't know. Does Helpi know?" Rachel asked.
Cassie listened for a moment. "He says that he created it using samples of my voice. Apparently they use the recordings to direct the animatronics to specific locations," she said.
Rachel raised an eyebrow, getting a little bit suspicious at that, but decided to let it go for now as she saw ruined Monty head in the opposite direction of them, crawling towards where the voice was heard. "Well, that certainly came in handy," she said. "Let's move quick before Monty starts crawling back towards us."
The two continued on their way, stopping for a second when they saw Monty scurry by, but he didn't notice them, much to their relief. As they climbed over some boxes, they saw a door ahead of them and Cassie pulled out her walkie-talkie.
"Don't stop looking for me. I need your help," came Gregory's voice.
"Gregory! Gregory, we can hear you," Cassie said.
"Are you okay, honey?" Rachel asked her son.
"If you can hear me, turn off all security. Turn it all off," Gregory said.
"Security?" Cassie asked and looked at Rachel in confusion, but she was just as confused as well.
"Gregory, what are you talking about," Rachel asked.
"Security nodes! Find them and turn them all off! I can't get out unitl that happens!"
"Gregory," Rachel said in concern just as the walkie-talkie cut off.
"Security nodes? What are those?" Cassie asked.
"I don't know, but we need to find a way to turn the power off to this door if we want to get out of here. Does Helpi know of a way to turn it off?" The young woman asked.
"Helpi says that it's in 'emergency lockdown' mode and he's saying to go in the AR world to find active security nodes. If we can deactivate them then the door will open for us," the girl said.
The girls entered the digital AR world and looked around for clues and saw a weird trail above them heading into a certain direction. The girls followed the trail as it led them up a flight of stairs and they soon saw a red pixelated rabbit head.
"Alright, if I had to take a guess that's a Security node," Rachel said.
"So how do we turn it off?" The young girl asked.
Rachel looked at her Faz-Wrench, seeing they needed to deactivate a child node first. "A child node, what the world is that suppose to be?" She asked.
Cassie looked at the Security node and saw a large cable was attached to it. "Maybe this cable will lead us to where it could be?" She suggested.
"Well, it's worth a shot," the older woman said.
The girls followed the cable as it leads to a red pixelated barrel. Rachel took a wild guess thinking this had to be what the child node was. She held up the Faz-Wrench at the child node and deactivated it as it now turned blue. They looked to see the rabbit head was also blue too. Rachel used the Faz-Wrench to enter the AR security network and matched the holograms, deactivating the node as the rabbit head disappeared. The two then make their way to see if there were any other Security nodes they needed to deactivate just in case.
"Well that seemed easy enough," Cassie remarked.
"A little too easy though," Rachel said, sensing something was off. "Something's not right."
"What is it?" The child asked.
"I feel like we're being watched right now," the young woman said. "And I can't shake that feeling."
They soon found another Security node that needed two child nodes to be deactivated first.
Cassie paused and then looked up. "Uh Rachel, I think you might be right. Helpi's saying that there's an anomalous entity in the V.A.N.N.I network," she said.
"Anomalous entity?" The young woman repeated. "Well that doesn't sound bad at all."
The child noted the older woman said that with sarcasm, but heard the frustration in the woman's voice. "What should we do?" She asked.
"Let's deactivate this Security node first so we can get out of this AR world," Rachel said. "Stay close, sweetie."
Cassie nodded as the two looked around and eventually found the two child nodes, deactivating them. They were about to head back to the Security node when suddenly they got jumpscared by a glitchy, rabbit animatronic. "What the...!?" Rachel exclaimed, quickly pushing the young girl behind her to protect her as they got a better look at the entity before them.
It lacked legs and instead has a levitating, cylindrical "tail". It has no arms, with its shoulders, elbow joints and hands being connected by a white, wire-like string and it was dark blue with white circuit-like markings and purple glitches all over its body. Its head was a mixture between humanoid and rabbit-like, with square eye sockets containing circular eyes and its pupils were squared and black. "I don't like this," the young woman said.
"Stay away from that thing. It's sending out some kind of signal and Monty is on his way," Gregory's voice came from the walkie-talkie.
Cassie put the walkie-talkie away as the two ran to the Security node and quickly tried to deactivate it. When they did, it opened up the gift shop and there was another Security node. They saw the glitchy rabbit slowly making its way towards them and quickly deactivated the child and Security nodes, quickly taking off their masks once they finished and saw that the glitchy rabbit was gone.
"What was that thing!?" Cassie asked, a bit freaked out.
"I don't know," Rachel admitted. "But it reminds me of something my family and I faced a while back and I don't like that at all."
"You think that's the last Security node?" The girl asked, gesturing to the station near them.
"Let's hope so, because I don't want to deal with that rabbit and I'm starting to get a headache switching back and forth," the young woman said.
"So, where's Monty that Gregory said was coming?"
They got their answer when ruined Monty appeared in front of them roaring and start crawling towards them fast only for some rubble to fall and block his way much to the girls' relief and Cassie got another message from the walkie-talkie.
"I figured it out. The signal was leading Monty to your location. You got out of there just in time. If you see it again, keep your distance," came Gregory's voice.
"Gregory, how do you know all this?" Rachel asked, getting a sinking feeling that something wasn't right.
"The Gator Grub is open, you should be able to find a path to the Daycare through the security office," the boy said.
"Honey, don't change the subject," Rachel lightly scolded. "Please answer my question. How do you know all of this?"
But she didn't get an answer as it cut off once again much to her annoyance. "Is Gregory always like this with you?" Cassie asked, finding the interaction to be a bit strange.
"No, he's not," the older woman said. "He's never evaded a question before."
"Then why is he talking like that to us?"
"I don't know." After a bit, Rachel sighed. "We should keep moving for now."
They made their way towards Gator Grub and entered the kitchen and saw a door leading to the security office. They made it to the office, unlocking the door using the Faz-Wrench. Upon entering, they saw it looked a little glitchy.
"Let me do it this time, Rachel," Cassie said. "I don't want you to get sick."
"Okay, but be careful," the young woman said.
As Cassie put on her mask and got to work, Rachel's phone went off and she looked, seeing she got a message from someone unknown. Curiosity got the better of her and she opened the message.
I can see you there; I'm always watching even if you can't see me. Leave this place now or else!
"Okay, that's a bit creepy," the young woman said, though she realized her gut instinct of someone watching them was right. She looked at her phone. "But you're going to have to do better than that because I'm not leaving here without my son or a way to fix the animatronics."
"And done," Cassie said as she finished her task and took off the mask to see Rachel on her phone. "Rachel, is everything alright?"
"Yeah," the other said distractedly, putting away her phone.
"Are you sure, Rachel?" The young girl said.
Rachel smiled, having to give the child credit for seeing right through her. "It's nothing to worry about," she said reassuringly. "Come on. Let's keep going."
They left the office and were on their way to the next room until they heard a commotion. They look to their right and see ruined Monty clawing, biting, and growling to get the gate open but was having a tough time and Cassie hid behind Rachel.
"It's okay. I won't let him get to you," the mother reassured the girl.
"I'm going to see if there's any Security nodes in the next room. I'll be back," the girl said, leaving as she was a bit intimidated by the gator.
Rachel looked at the ruined Monty, seeing how badly damaged he was like ruined Chica and saw that he was once again ripped in half, but now he was just an endoskeleton with only one eye, many of his teeth are now broken in half, and his mohawk is significantly smaller and messier. She also saw that apparently who or whatever did this to him bashed him on the head multiple times to the point he was acting like a mad dog. "Oh, Monty, what happened to you and Chica?" She asked in worry before she set her jaw. "I'll find a way to help you two. I promise."
Not wanting to stick around and seeing there's nothing she can do, she left for the next room. "Cassie, where are you?" She called out.
"Up here, I got another Security node!"
Rachel walked up the stairs to meet up with Cassie as they continued on and suddenly reached a dead end where there was only a camera station there and a large screen. "Looks like it's a dead end. Let's head back; maybe there's another path we can take," Rachel said.
"Wait, Helpi says it's not a dead end and to check the camera station in the AR world," the girl said.
Cassie put on her mask and looked through the cameras in the AR world. She saw that an anomaly was detected and that it needed to be quarantined. She checked the next camera and saw on the next camera that the Monty sign was glowing purple and clicked on it and suddenly the large screen disappeared. Cassie got off the cameras and saw that the large screen was gone and there was only a giant hole there. Rachel put on her mask as well and saw the large hole there as well and they jumped through the hole and were now in the Daycare.
"No way. We just walked through a big screen, and now we're in Superstar Daycare. NO way this is real. That screen was there before I looked at the camera, right?" Cassie asked, stunned.
"It's hard to believe, but it did happen," Rachel said, confused as well.
"Where are you?" Gregory's voice came from the walkie-talkie.
"We're in Daycare. Is there a way out of here?" Cassie asked.
"Get to the Daycare theater. There's a way down to the catwalks. It should get you to the Raceway…,"
They walked through the ruined Daycare, seeing it destroyed with lots of arcade machines around and deactivated endoskeletons scattered everywhere. Seeing that the path to the Daycare theater was blocked by rubble, they looked for another way and found one, but they had to enter the Daycare first. They managed to find a way into the Daycare and were now inside of what remains of it.
"There's nothing in here with us, right?" The young girl asked, a bit jumpy after having run into ruined Monty and ruined Chica.
"There shouldn't be, Sun and Moon didn't come with the others so they didn't get ruined," Rachel said, not blaming the girl for being a bit on edge. She was too.
"Huh?" The girl asked, confused.
"I'll explain later," the young woman said.
As they were about to exit the Daycare, the doors closed behind Cassie, locking Rachel inside the Daycare. She tried to open the door, but they wouldn't budge. "Cassie, are you alright?" She asked through the visible crack in the door.
"I'm okay. What happened though?" The girl asked.
"The doors closed on me. Try to get someplace safe while I either figure out how to open these doors or find another way out," she said. "But be careful, hon."
Cassie froze as she heard something and turned around and saw one of the endoskeletons was on and facing her direction. "Rachel, one of the endos is active and staring at me, what do I do?!" She asked in a panic.
"Don't worry, those endoskeletons won't move as long as you keep your eyes on it. Think of it as a game of red light and green light. I'll be right out as soon as I can!" Rachel said, worried about the girl.
She decided to head back the way she entered the daycare only to see that someone blocked it off. Rachel continued looking around and saw the security desk and decided to check if there was a spare key for the door.
As she looked around for one, she found some old blueprints the Fazbear technicians left behind. She saw they were for Sun and Moon, but saw a few more blueprints as well and saw they were for three new animatronics. One looked similar to Sun and was orange and black, but was labeled Solar, another one was a small moon animatronic around the size of a kid labeled Lunar, and then there was a female animatronic that was taller than Sun and Moon and was labeled Earth. She looked at the three blueprints seeing these three were going to be new daycare animatronics added to Superstar Daycare, but weren't built since the Pizzaplex was left to rot after Fazbear Entertainment gave up trying to restore the building.
"Lunar, Earth, and Solar? So Sun and Moon were going to have two more brothers and a sister, hmm I'll keep that in mind," she said, taking the blueprints and putting them away in her bag.
She then found something nearby and looked to see it was a storybook. But not just any storybook. Her eyes widened as she saw it was Moon's storybook. "Moon's storybook," she said, picking it up and seeing it was still in good shape. A bit dusty, but she carefully wiped the dust off with her arm and smiled. "Oh, he'll be glad to see this again," she said as she recalled him saying how he had a special storybook he read to the kids at naptime.
She then saw an inflatable noisemaker and smiled as she saw it had the sun on it. "Sun mentioned how he was always picking these up when they got knocked down," she said to herself as she saw it was the only noisemaker that was still good as the others were destroyed. Carefully letting out the air, she put it in her bag along with Moon's storybook. A bit of orange color caught her eye and she turned to see some kind of fabric sticking out of a toy chest.
Carefully opening it, she saw it was a dress-up box and on the very top was a long, burnt orange cape. She took a closer look and saw the name stitched on the edge of it. "Eclipse," she said softly and realized what it was in an instant. Sun had told her how Eclipse had dressed up as the hero many times for the kids during playtime. She folded the cape up carefully and put it in her bag, glad that she had a bag that was essentially bottomless, thanks to Grey Matter, Frankenstrike, and Alien X.
As she moved away, she stepped on something and saw another blueprint on the ground. Picking it up, she saw that this animatronic was apparently a prototype of Sun and Moon where it was a two in one animatronic where they would change if the lights were on and off. Apparently this animatronic was scrapped because it caused a lot of problems and the animatronic went insane. After that, they decided to just make them two separate animatronics that she now knew today instead of fixing the prototype Sun and Moon.
"So Sun and Moon were supposed to be one animatronic? I can't imagine what it would be like to have someone else in your head," she said, feeling sympathy for her brothers.
"Oh trust us, it's not as bad as you think it is," came an unfamiliar voice as Rachel felt a hand cover her mouth and she was dragged away, her screams muffled by the hand. She was thrown into what was once the ball pit and looked up to see who her captor was.
The animatronic was the prototype of Sun and Moon, but completely ruined as they had Sun's sunrays that were broken and cracked that surrounds Moon's broken faceplate, one of their eyes is glowing red while the other was glowing white, and was also wearing Moon's sleeping cap on their head. The right side of their face is broken off, showcasing the endoskeleton underneath along with moving teeth. Their hands are also mostly destroyed, with all of the finger casing gone revealing the endoskeleton underneath. There are also many holes, scratches, and other damages across their entire body. Their right pant is also completely torn off, only showing its endo parts that make up its structure and missing their foot as well. Even though the animatronic was ruined, she could tell who this was.
"You're that rejected prototype of Sun and Moon, but how are you even here? You're supposed to be scrapped," she said.
"Now that's just rude to say. We're no reject or prototype; we are Eclipse, the perfect balance of Sun and Moon. Nice of you to drop on by, we do love having company over to kill, though the fun is always short lived, humans are just so fragile when tearing them apart," ruined Eclipse said.
"You're psychopaths," Rachel said in disgust. "How are you even here?"
"Well since for some reason Fazbear Entertainment lost the rights to owning Sun and Moon, they decided to replace them and took us out of storage and had us be their replacement since the company loves to cut corners when it comes to money. However, as you can see Fazbear gave up on the restoration project and left this place to rot, but not us; we're in perfect working condition," he said.
"Yeah, you sure look like your in perfect condition you psychotic reject," she said sarcastically as she realized that he had been brought out after Rook had found the papers naming her and her sister as Sun and Moon's handlers since her father had bought the rights to them before he had passed away.
"Why aren't you just a rude lady. Do you kiss your mother with that mouth?" Ruined Eclipse sneered.
That made Rachel angry. "My mom's dead, you jerk," she said.
"Is that so? Such a shame we weren't built around the time she died so we can do it ourselves like we did to so many people who broke in. So how did she die was she stabbed, strangled, crushed, poisoned, ripped apart, oh the possibilities are endless, it must've been nice to see her die, yes?"
Rachel was now really angry. "Shut up, you brickjerk!" She yelled.
"Now my dear, there's no need to use such foul language; what would your son say if he heard you right now?" Ruined Eclipse scolded her.
The young woman managed to hold back her surprise and still look at him angrily. "How do you know about my son?" She asked.
"That's for us to know and for you not to know. Now, where is that son of yours hmm? We can make him a pirate like Foxy, just got to rip off an arm, a leg, and an eye and watch him squirm on the ground in pain as he slowly bleeds out," the animatronic said.
"Over my dead body!" She said, furious. "You keep away from my son!"
"You're right, he'll die way too fast. Why don't we just break every bone in his body and then rip him in half as you watch, how does that sound?"
"Shut up!" Rachel said, having had enough of the twisted animatronic's actions. She picked up an old trashcan and threw it at him, hitting him square in the face and knocking him over the wall where he had been standing. Moving fast, she got out of the empty ball pit and started to run, only to see the ruined animatronic get up and jump in front of her, staring at her now as he laughed creepily.
"Oh, you thought hitting me in the face would be enough to stop me because I'm all broken and rusty, well think again lady. Now, hold still while I break your face and then rip off your head with me bare hands," he said.
But Rachel wasn't a Plumber for nothing. Thanks to her training, she managed to avoid having the crazed animatronic grab her and she headed into one of the play structures, crawling her way through it to reach the top to see if there was another way to escape. As she was doing so, ruined Eclipse was climbing the structure on the outside, breaking some of the structure bars to reach in and try to grab the young woman, succeeding in grabbing her wrist after a moment.
"It's time for your nap!" He shrieked. "Time to put you to sleep, permanently!"
"Let go, you creep!" She cried out, trying to break free of his grasp, but the animatronic wouldn't let go. Quickly, she grabbed her phone and turned on the flashlight part of it, shining the bright light into the ruined animatronic's eyes.
"Aeeeegh!" He cried out, letting her go and falling back to the ground. Seeing that, Rachel took advantage of it and continued climbing until she reached the top of the play structure and looked around, not seeing another way to get out.
Just then, she heard that same creepy laugh and saw ruined Eclipse make their way up to her. She tried to shine her light again, but it grabbed her wrist and then grabbed her by the neck. Grabbing onto his hand, Rachel forced herself not the panic, knowing that it wouldn't help. She glanced around, looking for anything that would help, but it looked like she was on her own.
"This little game of tag was fun, but your time is up. Hmm let's see if your head will pop like a balloon if we keep choking you like this? Let's find out and don't you worry we'll be sure to deliver your head to your son after we...,"
The animatronic was cut off by a sudden snap of metal breaking. "What was that?" He asked, looking down to see what the sound was.
The animatronic saw some of the metal bars and supports starting to break since the play structures were already unstable from the fire prior to that day and his breaking them more to get to Rachel made the structure even more unstable and about to collapse. Seeing him distracted, Rachel shined her light into the ruined animatronic's eyes again, blinding him temporarily and making him let her go. She quickly moved as she knew she didn't have much time and saw a large crate of colorful plastic balls over the side.
Knowing she had no time and no other chance, she jumped off the side. Just as she did so, the play structure fell apart, taking ruined Eclipse with it as the young woman landed in the crate of balls, ducking down until all was quiet again.
Rachel climbed out, wincing a little. "Ow, that hurt, but I suppose better than nothing, especially landing on the floor," she said as she stood up, knowing she could have broken a leg or her neck if she hadn't landed in the crate.
She looked over to see the play structure was now a pile of junk and broken parts. She looked around, but didn't see ruined Eclipse anywhere and assumed it was buried under the rubble and junk, crushed and destroyed. "Hope that's the last I will ever see of that creep," she said as she then saw the pile of junk was actually high enough for her to go over the wall and leave the Daycare.
Moving up the pile carefully, she moved fast, recalling Ultimate Spidermonkey's instructions on how to move on an unsteady surface lightly. Grateful that he had taught her that, she climbed over the wall and landed on her feet outside the Daycare, letting out a sigh of relief.
"Now, where did Cassie go?" She asked herself. "I hope she's alright."
As she turned a corner to look, she suddenly ran into Cassie, who yelped in surprise, making the young woman jump in surprise before she saw who it was. "Cassie," she said as the girl panicked a moment, but calmed down at hearing her voice. "It's okay. It's me, sweetie," the young woman spoke soothingly as she held the child in a hug.
Cassie hugged her back, sighing in relief. "What happened in there thought? I heard some creepy laugh and a loud crash."
"Long story short, I ran into an old prototype of Sun and Moon called Eclipse and they got buried under the rubble of the play structure," the young woman said.
"Alright. I managed to turn off the Security Node for the theater. We can enter it now."
"Good girl," Rachel said, proud of the child. "We should get going then. The sooner we find Gregory and find a way to save the other animatronics, the better."
"Are you sure that old Sun and Moon animatronic is destroyed, Rachel?" The young girl asked in worry.
"I'm sure," the young woman said. "I couldn't find any trace of it and there was no way they could've survived that in the condition they were in."
The two head towards the theater, keeping their eyes on the active endoskeletons. Back inside the Daycare however, the rubble of the play structure moved a bit as ruined Eclipse had survived and was slowly pushing the rubble off of them.
"Once we get free, we're coming for you, lady, and we'll enjoy tearing you apart," it said, creepily laughing like a mad person as it continued to move the rubble off of itself.
Looks like that ruined animatronic is still active. Oh dear.
Also, yes, robotman25 and myself included references to The Sun And Moon Show. :)
Now, in case some of you are wondering, the Eclipse Rachel calls her brother is different from the animatronic she encountered in the Daycare. As you can see, this story does follow the plot of the Ruin DLC, but with some changes. Can Rachel and Cassie find Gregory and find a way to save the animatronics Rachel calls family? We shall see.
Please leave robotman25 and myself a review, but no flames!
