Val flew away out next back to the Western Capital midmorning, sensing for Yamcha, whom she knew lived in one of the bigger, high rise apartments in one of the busier, wealthier neighborhoods. Sensing him took some time, since the buildings had so many people in them, but once she figured out which building it was and what floor it was, she managed it. She knocked on the door, sensing Yamcha was certainly in there, but a weaker ki was in there with him as well. She waited, sensing him kind of move around, but when he did not come to the door, she knocked again and louder.

That got footsteps coming pretty quick. "Whatever you're selling, I'm not buying-" she heard his sharp tone as he opened the door. "Oh, Val, hello," he said, tone sounding a bit embarrassed now.

"Hi," she answered back.

She looked at him, seeing him standing there, hair ruffled from sleep, and only in a pair of pajama pants. He raised one hand up to rest it on the side of the door frame. "What, uh, what brings you here?" he asked with a friendly smirk. She blinked up at him, about to answer when they both heard a woman's voice call his name. "Just a second," he called over his shoulder. He put his finger to his lips and slipped out of the door, shutting it quickly behind him.

He stood a bit too close to her with her stepping back from him in afterthought. "Who is that?" she asked curiously, sensing whoever it was, she was rather weak.

"Oh, her, uh, she uh, she's no one," he rushed out. "Just a... just a friend from my baseball team," he landed on.

"I thought your team was all men?" she asked in confusion.

"We, uh, we have female trainers and coaches, everyone does. So why wouldn't we?" he rushed out, voice hushed.

"Oh," she said, with a shrug. She pulled the capsule pack from her pocket and opened it up. "Dr. Daiki and I, over at Capsule Corps, managed to get antivirals made for, you know..." she hinted, pulling out one capsule that held one set with his name on it. "Here's some for you, just in case. I'm going around to the others to pass them around," she explained.

He peered into the capsule pack, looking at what all she had in there before she closed it and put it back in her pocket. Then he took the set, looking at. "You and that dork figured out how to make it huh? Before, you know, we all die," he commented with some odd amusement.

She frowned up at him. "Daiki's brilliant," she defended protectively. "When I got it, he helped me," she added.

"You got it? Jeeze, I thought only Goku was supposed to get." She sighed, shrugging. "You've gotten stronger, so you must have fought it off pretty well," he complimented.

She hummed. "It wasn't that easy," she explained vaguely.

He raised his eyebrows up at her. "You two have a the beauty and the beast thing going on?" he asked.

She shook her head, saying, "I don't understand."

He clicked his teeth patiently. "Right... so I'd invite you in, but my trainers kind of, uh shy. Around new people. Aliens especially," he rambled. "Who all you planning to drop the meds off to again?"

"I went to the Lookout first, since, you know, the Earth needs a guardian. Then I came here," she ticked off. "Next I'll go to Kami House, Tien and Chiaotzu's village, and then Goku's village," she finished.

"Oh, that's why you got the warm clothes in one of them capsules," he said, sounding oddly disappointed. "You sure you don't just like what me to bring them up there for you? You can pay me back with like dinner or coffee or something?"

She shook her head. "No, I should do it. I can do it," she answered, knowing it was going to be an awkward situation at best. "I still know them, up in that village. The villagers might not have liked me very much, but I was kind of bratty when I was up there last... However, I've experienced first hand what that virus can do and I'd hate for anyone of them to go through it like I did, even Aiko. I don't even feel like my normal self yet after it."

He clicked his teeth stepping back to lean on the door. "Well, that's noble of you at least," he said, sounding disappointed yet again. "How do you mean not your normal self? You're looking great," he added, but then shook his head.

She hummed. "Like, I can't explain it. Like I'm not quite alive anymore, but not dead. Defeated, but still victorious. Like I'm drifting and watching people move on with their lives around me," she rambled. She shook her head. "When I tried to explain it to Bulma yesterday, she said it could be some kind of survivor's guilt and not compare my live to the lives of others."

He stood upright at the mention of her name, no longer leaning on the door. "Bulma? How is she? Did she get the virus, too?" he asked eagerly.

"She's..." she started, realizing he did not know about anything that happened after the two of them broke up, especially about her marrying Vegeta and having a child with him just days ago. "She's fine. Still at Capsule Corps." She gave a fake shrug, afraid of him asking anymore pressing questions that might make her say something she should not. She decided to leave before she blabbed anything she should not reveal, like she accidentally did with Kami. "I should go. I still have three more places to get to today..." She started to walk back down the hallway.

He sighed, looking back at the door. "Yeah," he sighed. "But be careful," he added.

She stopped. "Be careful of what?" she asked, curiously.

He looked at her like she he was not sure if she was serious about that question. He laughed. "The typhoon coming. Did you miss that? It's supposed to make landfall near the South today or tomorrow."

"Oh," she commented, not sure what he meant by a 'typhoon' exactly. "I'm sure I'll be fine. Thanks though."

"Guess you're not as scared as you to be," he teased.

She shrugged, deciding not to ask what he meant since she did not like how amused he seemed at her not knowing a typhoon was coming. She kept walking down the hallway backwards. "See you, when, you know," she added.

"Right, yeah, see you then," he said. "Unless, you know, you change your mind and want to come back sooner than that. You know where I live now," he threw out. "But only if you want to, I mean."

She shrugged, waved at him, turned, and headed towards the elevator.
