Prologue
Wealth.

Everything the world had to offer had been attained by the late Pirate King, Gol D. Roger. "My fortune is yours for the taking, but you'll have to find it first!" Roger declared heartily with a smile as he looked at the crowd of people who had come to witness his punishment. "I left everything I gathered in one place."
And so, many set sail in search of Roger's legendary treasure, One Piece. This became the beginning of the Great Pirate Era. As the years passed by, One Piece remained undiscovered, but Roger's words continued to inspire a new generation of pirates.
