Episode 301: The Evolutionary War

Shortly after dealing with the Trinity Armor, Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Ash, Leaf, Ethan, Kris, Lyra, Brendan, May, Max, Lisia, Hikaru, Pikachu, Angel, Eevee, Azurill, Xipak, Celeste, and Marill have continued on their way towards Mossdeep City, so Sora exchanged Dusknoir, Slaking, and Exploud for Sealeo, Wailord, and Gallade. Sora thought it would be a better idea if they had a Wailord to ride on instead of a boat.

"It sure was a good idea on having Wailord carry us around on the islands, Sora," Ash said.

"Well, that's one of the advantages of having the world's largest Pokémon under your belt. Wailord's big enough to carry us around, and we going from island to island is a good way to get some training done," Sora said.

"Pikachu," Pikachu said.

"Pikachu," Xipak said.

"We could stop at a nearby island though. What's the nearest island from here?" Ethan asked.

"That would be the ABC Islands," Hikaru said.

"ABC Islands?" Everyone except for Riku and Max asked. Max looked it up on the PokeNav.

"It's made up of three islands, so it's called the ABC Islands," Max said.

"Hey, so which one are stopping by first?" May asked.

"We should stop at Island A since it's the only island to have a Pokémon Center," Hikaru said.

"That's not a bad idea. Our Pokémon could use a checkup anyway," Kairi said.

"Eevee," Angel said.

"Vee," Celeste said.

Just then, a bunch of kids riding on their Huntail were racing to the island.

"Get out of my way!" One boy yelled riding on a Gorebyss.

"You're totally in my way!" A girl riding on a Huntail yelled.

"Gorebyss, coming through!" Another girl called out.

"Aren't those Huntail and Gorebyss?" Sora asked.

"They are. Just look at 'em," Leaf said.

"Yeah, but those kids are going at it like a Zangoose and a Seviper," Lyra said.

"Marill, Marill," Marill said.

"Move it, girlie!" The first boy yelled, knocking the first girl off her Huntail.

"Hey! No fair!" The girl yelled. The group looked down to the girl.

"Hey, down there!" Sora called out. The girl looked up and saw the group looking at her.

"Are you okay?" Kari asked with concern.

"I'm fine. Huntail, let's go!" The girl said as her Huntail gets her back on its back. The girl gets back in the race.

"She seems okay," Riku said.

"Eevee," Eevee said.

"Yeah, but that was rough," Lisia said.

"Look, here comes two more of them," Kris said.

The kids the group saw were younger the rest of them and they rode in little boats.

"Would you get out of my way?" The girl snapped.

"You're the one in my way!" The boy snapped back. "Why don't you get out of my face?!"

"You're slowing me down!" The girl argued.

"I'd be there if weren't for you!" The boy argued.

"We'll never get there with the way you drive!" The girl argued.

"Oh, and I suppose you're better?" The boy argued.

"Move it or lose it!" The girl argued.

"You move it!" The boy argued.

"Those kids seem to be in a really big hurry to get somewhere," Riku said.

"Yeah, and they all wanna be the first to get there," Sora said.

"Hikaru, you have a clue on why those kids were going at it like that?" Lisia asked.

"I don't have the slightest idea, guys. I only heard about it from the map, and I didn't exactly look into it, but we could find out when we get there," Hikaru said.

"That's actually a good idea since we could use some answers," Brendan said.

"Good idea. Wailord! Set course for Island A, straight ahead!" Sora said. Wailord complied and swam straight for Island A. Wailord beached himself on the beach as everyone got off of his back. "Thanks a lot, Wailord. you earned a good rest." Sora calls Wailord back inside his Pokéball and headed for the Pokémon Center.

"As they entered the Pokémon Center, they're greeted by the Nurse Joy occupying it.

"Hello, everyone. Welcome to the Pokémon Center," Nurse Joy greeted.

"Good to be here," Sora said. Suddenly, a phone rings.

"Would you excuse me for a moment?" Nurse Joy asked.

"Sure," the group said. Nurse Joy went to answer the phone. She answers it and sees a woman on the screen.

"Hello, Pokémon Center," Nurse Joy greeted.

"Hi, this is Midori from Island B," Midori said.

"Hello, Midori. How is your Gorebyss doing this morning?" Nurse Joy asked.

"He's just fine, but it's my Corsola this time. I'm afraid she may have caught herself a bad cold," Midori said, holding up her Corsola. "Could I send her over and have you take a look?"

"Of course," Nurse Joy said. Midori calls Corsola into her Pokéball and sends her to the Pokémon Center's Pokéball teleporter. She takes the Pokéball. "Your Corsola arrived safe and sound, see?"

"That's good. I'll be by a little later and thanks," Midori said.

"Sure," Nurse Joy said, hanging up.

"You have your own Pokéball teleporter here as well as the other islands?" Max asked.

"That's right. Island A is the only island with a Pokémon Center, so we've set up teleporters on Islands B and C. That way, if any Pokémon is sick they can sent here right away," Nurse Joy explained.

"Comes in handy instead of making the long trip from one island to another," Ethan said.

"What did you say?!" A boy's voice roared out.

"You heard me!" A girl's voice roared back.

"What was that about?" Amy asked.

"Oh no, here we go again," Nurse Joy said.

"Gorebyss are much stronger and you know it!" The first boy yelled.

"You're crazy, Huntail are!" The first girl yelled.

"You can't compare the two!" Another girl said.

"Gorebyss are so super-strong, it's not even funny!" Another boy yelled. Nurse Joy came in with a stern look on her face.

"Everyone, quiet down this instant!" Nurse Joy scolded the kids. The kids all quieted down. "Now, everyone, take your seats!"

"Yes, ma'am," the kids all said, sitting down.

"It's those kids from earlier," Kris said.

Nurse Joy approached her desk, still having her stern look.

"It's study time and I want quiet," Nurse Joy said.

"Yes, ma'am," the kids said, getting to their studies.

"Wow, not only a nurse, but a teacher, too?" Sora asked.

"Yes. This is a school as well as a Pokémon Center. The children from Islands B and C come here everyday," Nurse Joy said. She sets her attention on the students. "Students, our next class will take place at the outdoor swimming pool."

"Yay!" The kids all cheered.

"At least that's something that they can agree on," Sora sid.

"Yeah," Breandan agreed.

Later after class, Nurse Joy led the group to the outdoor swimming pool, but they were all curious about the fighting between the kids.

"Nurse Joy, hope you don't mind us asking, but do you know why those kids are fighting all the time?" May asked.

"The children from Islands B and C have developed a real rivalry between them," Nurse Joy said.

"We saw them racing on the water earlier," Ash said.

"You know how come?" Max asked.

"You see, a large number of Clamperl all live here on the ABC Islands. For some reason, the Clamperl living on Island B all evolve into Gorebyss and all of the Clamperl living on Island C evolve into Huntail, so everyone, adults and kids are always arguing over which are better: Gorebyss or Huntail," Nurse Joy explained.

"Sounds like there's no end to this fued," Naminé said.

"Yeah, but it sounds like a silly thing to argue over, if you ask me," Lyra said.

Over at the pool, the group saw a very familiar face in the pool.

"Hey, mister, which one do you think is better? Huntail is better, right?" A little girl asked.

"Gorebyss are way better," a little boy said.

"You gotta admit, Gorebyss are totally cool," another girl said.

"But Huntail are even stronger, right?" Another boy said.

In the pool, some Huntail and Gorebyss are swimming around Professor Birch who is laying on his back in the outdoor pool, playing with the Pokémon.

"Okay, I think both Pokémon are great!" Professor Birch said. The group approached the pool and saw him.

"Professor Birch?" Sora asked.

"Dad?" Brendan asked.

"Dad?" Hikaru asked, confused.

"Brendan, Sora, and the rest! How are all of you doing?" Professor Birch asked.

"Wait a minute! You mean, he's Professor Birch?" Nurse Joy asked.

"Thats right. And Brendan here is his son in case you missed it," Sora said.

"No way! I never heard his name before! I just thought he was just a nice guy who likes to play with Pokémon," Nurse Joy said. Professor Birch climbs out of the pool.

"I never expected to run into any of you," Professor Birch said. He turned to his son. "How have you been, son?"

"I'm doing good, dad. We just didn't expect to run into you all the way out here," Brendan said.

"Um, Sora, can you-" Hikaru spoke.

"Professor Birch is Brendan's dad. He's a Pokémon researcher who's known to learn about Pokémon up close. We got a taste of that when we first met him. He gives a Treecko, a Torchic, and a Mudkip to Trainers who are just starting out. He's the one who gave him his Grovyle when he was a Treecko, and May her Combusken when she was a Torchic," Sora explained.

"I see," Hikaru said. Professor Birch noticed Hikaru with the group.

"So, who is this?" Professor Birch asked.

"Dad, this is Hikaru Ōkami. He's a student of Ben Blaze, an associate of Master Rei," Brendan introduced.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, professor," Hikaru said.

"What brings you here, professor?" Max asked.

"I'm doing some research on Clamperl evolution," Professor Birch said.

"Have you found anything?" Max asked.

"Not a thing. So, I thought I would just play around with these Huntail and Gorebyss," Professor Birch said.

"That's what I thought. It didn't look like you were doing much research," Nurse Joy pointed out.

"But if I know Professor Birch, he might be doing some research while he's playing," May said. Professor Birch chuckled.

"Actually, I was just doing some playing," Professor Birch, making May lose her balance a bit. "But there is some truth in what you're saying, May. You can learn about Pokémon just by simply playing with them."

"Never thought of it that way," May said.

Yeah, Professor Kukui back home in Alola is pretty much the same way. He woud say that playing with Pokemon is a good way to learn about Pokemon," Riku said.

"Professor, could you consider sharing your some your awesome knowledge of Pokemon with my students?" Nurse Joy asked.

"Oh, yeah, please!" The students all said.

Hm," Professor Birch hummed, scratching the back of his head. "Oh, boy. Teaching was never my strong suit."

"Oh, please! I've always wanted to know how Clamperl evolve," the little girl said.

"Yeah, me too," the little boy said.

"Clamperl evolve under certain conditions," Professor Birch said.

"Well, according to Nurse Joy, the Clamperl on Island B all evolve into Gorebyss and the Clamperl on Island C all evolve into Huntail," May explained.

"Is that so?" Professor Birch asked.

"My Clamperl became a Gorebyss on Island B," the first boy said.

"And my Clamperl became a Huntail on Island C," the first girl said.

"In order for a Clamperl to evolve, it would require a Deep Sea Tooth for it to evolve into a Huntail, and a Deep Sea Scale is needed for a Clamperl to become a Gorebyss," Professor Birch explained.

"A Deep Sea Tooth?" The little boy asked.

"A Deep Sea Scale?" The little girl asked.

"Now, have any of you ever caught a Clamperl?" Professor Birch asked.

"I caught a Clamperl, and he became a Huntail, but I had a Deep Sea Tooth," Sora said.

"I caught one, too, and she became a Gorebyss, and I used a Deep Sea Scale," Kairi said.

"But I caught a Clamperl, professor," Kris said.

"And she hasn't evolved it yet. I caught one, too," Ethan said.

"And I caught two Clamperl, dad," Brendan said.

"Would it be okay if we help you with your research, professor?" Leaf asked. Professor Birch just smiled.

"Of course. Your help is always welcome, kids," Professor Birch said. He pulled out two replicas of a tooth and a scale. "Here is a Deep Sea Tooth on my left, and a Deep Sea Scale on my right."

"But what do those things have to do with evolving?" Max asked.

"That's what I'm gonna find out, Max. Our first stop will be Island C," Professor Birch said. The group headed for the port in Professor Birch's boat. "Island C, here we come."

Just then, the little girl from before come running to the dock.

"Wait! Let me come with you!" The girl pleaded.

"Don't you have school to finish up?" Sora asked.

"School's over for the day. Also, I live on Island C," the girl said.

"That could be helpful since we could use a guide around the island," Professor Birch said. With that said, the captain sailed to Island C, not knowing that the little boy from before is rowing behind them. As they were on their way over to the island.

They arrived onto Island C and entered the cave on the middle of the island. The girl introduced as Nancy led the group inside to the small waterfall flowing.

"My grandma always told me that if you brought a Clamperl in here then they will evolve into a Huntail, no problem," Nancy stated.

"So which one's going for it?" Ash asked.

"I think I'll give it a shot," Brendan said, taking out one of his Pokéballs and tossed it. His Clamperl emerged from inside. He picked the Bilvalve Pokémon up and turned to Nancy. "Okay, Nancy, how do I do it?"

"My grandma always said to place Clamperl in the water," Nancy said.

"Okay, here goes," Brendan said. He places the clam-like Pokémon in the water and his Clamperl started to evolve. His Clamperl had evolved into a Huntail. "It worked!"

"Look at that!" Lisia said.

"It's amazing," Kris said.

"Brendan's Clamperl evolved without a Deep Sea Tooth," Ash said. Professor Birch stroked his chin.

"Yes. I believe it has something to do with the water," Professor Birch theorized. He took a handful of water and sipped it.

"So, how is it?" Naminé asked.

"This water is rich with minerals and very delicious. Something is very peculiar about this water," Professor Birch said, taking out a lab glass. "I only need to take a small sample of it." He fills it up to the top line of the glass.

"You think there's some secret to the water, dad?" Brendan asked.

"I'm not quite sure. Perhaps there could be something in Island B," Professor Birch said. Coming behind the group is the boy from before and he makes a big splash making a step, drawing everyone's attention.

"Is someone there?" Sora asked. Stepping out of hiding is the boy from before. Nancy got infuriated by his presence.

"What do you think you're doing here, Keith?" Nancy asked.

"What do you care?" Keith asked.

"For your information, we're researching Huntail and it has nothing to do with you!" Nancy argued.

"Yeah, what's your point?" Keith asked, pretending not to care.

"The point is kids from Island B aren't even allowed on Island C, so you go home!" Nancy told him and pointing her finger.

"Hey, get over it! I only came to do some research on the competition!" Keith said.

"Then it stands to reason that you are interested in Huntail," Professor Birch pointed out. Sora and the other kids were starting to think the same thing. Keith winced and he looked to his right.

"No, I'm not! I only like Gorebyss," Keith said defensively.

"I see. It turns out that I'm doing my next research on Gorebyss. Would you like to come as my Island B guide?" Professor Birch suggested.

"Yeah!" Keith said. The group returned to the boat and headed off to Island B, but they were unaware of Nancy following them. The group entered a cave similar to the one on Island C and saw a smiliar small waterfall. "My grandpa always said if you brought Clamperl in this cave, then you would end up having a Gorebyss in an instant."

"Brendan, let's try it together," Kris said.

"That's what I was gonna suggest, Kris," Brendan said. Both Kris and Brendan took out their Pokéballs and let their Clamperl out. "Okay, let's do this." Kris and Brendan placed their Clamperl in the water and they both became Gorebyss.

"Same as last time. No Deep Sea Scale," Lyra said.

"Interesting," Professor Birch said. He took a handful of the water and sipped it up.

"How does that taste?" Riku asked.

"The taste is a little different, but still rich with minerals and quite delicious as well," Professor Birch said, taking out another lab glass. "Now, I only need to take a sample of the water." Nancy had caught up with them, only to slip and exposing herself.

"You again!" Kairi said.

"Hey, we're researching on Gorebyss, so it's none of your business!" Keith barked.

"Yeah? Too bad! I was only here to study the enemy!" Nancy said.

"So, you're interested in Gorebyss, am I correct?" Professor Birch asked. Nancy winced and the kids knew a familair sight when they saw it.

"No! Huntail are way better Pokémon!" Nancy said and ran out.

The group returned to the Pokémon Center on Island A and Professor Professor Birch analyzed the water samples he took from Islands B and C. The group became anxious to hear what he had to say.

"Fascinating," Professor Birch said.

"So, what did you find out, professor?" Sora asked.

"Pika," Pikachu said.

"Well, at least I learned one interesting thing," Professor Birch said.

Just then, Nancy and Keith both came in running.

"Professor!" Nancy and Keith both called out.

"Please talk about Gorebyss," Nancy said.

"No, talk about Huntail!" Keith said.

"Hey, why do you care about Huntail?" Nancy hissed.

"And what about you and Gorebyss?" Keith asked.

"Seems to me Nancy likes Gorebyss and Keith likes Huntail, am I right?" May asked. Nancy and Keith knew they had been caught, so they might as well come clean about it.

"I think you're right, May. What's the big deal?" Hikaru asked.

"Is that why you two are fighting so much?" Lyra asked.

"I really want my Clamperl to evolve into a Gorebyss," Nancy admitted.

Keith admitted, "And I want a Huntail."

"Well, let's have a look at both of your Clamperl, shall we?" Professor Birch suggested. Everyone wen to the outdoor pool and they threw their Pokéballs.

"Come out, Clamperl!" Nancy and Keith called out as their Clamperl both emerged from their Pokéballs.

"What healthy looking Clamperl. What fine Huntail and Gorebyss the will evolve," Professor Birch said.

"But, professor, what I really want is a pretty Gorebyss," Nancy said.

"And I really want an awsome Huntail," Keith said.

"If you wanted the opposite of what your Clamperl evolved into, then why didn't you just say anything before?" Brendan asked.

"I just couldn't tell anyone because they would just tell me that I should evolve my Clamperl into a Huntail," Nancy said.

"Same with me," Keith said.

"It's my personal opinion that it's best the Trainer and the Pokémon evolves into what you really want and not what others tell you," Professor Birch said.

"Yeah!" Nancy and Keith agreed.

"So have you figured out how they evolved?" Nancy asked.

"After analyzing the water, it stems to reason that the water in both caverns comes from under the sea. The water on Island C has particles of a Deep Sea Tooth while the water on Island B has particlaes of a Deep Sea Scale," Professor Birch said.

"If the water has a Deep Sea Tooth and a Deep Sea Scale, then the caverns might have one, too, right?" Ash asked.

"Let's go investigate further," Professor Birch said.

"So where do we start?" Leaf asked.

"I think we should start with Island B first, and then check out Island C," Professor Birch said.

The group agreed and they went off to Island B to search for a Deep Sea Scale.

"It should be somewhere in the water. It might explain on how they evolve," Sora said.

"Pika," Pikachu said.

"Let's search for it until we find it," Riku said.

"Kay," Nancy said as they searched the water. Keith has found a Deep Sea Scale.

"Is this it?" Keith asked. The group went up to him.

"Without a doubt, it's a Deep Sea Scale," Professor Birch said.

"Awesome!" Nancy said.

"And since you want your Clamperl to become a Gorebyss, it's yours," Keith said, handing it to her. She accepts it.

"Thank you," Nancy said, throwing her Pokéball. "Come on out, Clamperl!" Nancy called out Her Clamperl came out. She giggled. "You're gonna become a Gorebyss. She gave it to her Clamperl. Strangely nothing happens. "Why isn't it working?"

"You're supposed to evolve," Max said.

"That's weird. Nothing like this happened to me and Kairi when our Clamperl evolved," Sora said.

"Yeah, I wonder why?" Kairi asked.

"Why don't you send your Clamperl back to the Pokémon Center and then later on, we'll do a little investigating, okay?" Professor Birch suggetsed.

"Yeah, good idea," Nancy said. Sora, Pikachu, and Nancy contacted Nurse Joy inside the cabin and she places her Pokéball on the Pokéball teleporter. "Nurse Joy, I'm ready to send over my Clamperl."

"Here we go," Nurse Joy as she activated the teleportation and the Pokéball arrives from the other side. She turned to Keith.

"And now, it's your turn, Keith," Nancy said.

"Cool," Keith said.

The group arrived on Island C to search for the Deep Sea Tooth. They search the water for the Deep Sea Tooth.

"Here, toothy-toothy-toothy. Come out, come out, wherever you are," Sora said.

Nancy searches for it until she found what she was looking for.

"Is this it?" Nancy asked. The group approached her and Professor Birch took a look at it.

"Yes, it's a Deep Sea Tooth, alright," Professor Birch said.

"Awesome," Keith said.

"Here. Since you want your Clamperl to become a Huntail, you should have it," Nancy said, offering the Deep Sea Tooth to him.

"Wow, thanks a lot," Keith said. "Come out, Clamperl!" His Clamperl emerges from the Pokéball and gave it to his Clamperl. "Ready to become a Huntail?" They waited anxiously to see what happens, but nothing happens. "It's not working."

"Just like back on Island B," Ethan said.

"Yeah, it should have worked," Lyra said.

"Why don't you send your Clamperl to the Pokémon Center, too?" Professor Birch suggested.

"Yeah, that sounds good," Keith said.

Keith sends his Clamperl over to the Pokémon Center.

The group returned to Island A as Nancy and Keith approached the counter.

"Here are your two Clamperl," Nurse Joy said, handing them their Pokéballs.

"Thank you!" Nancy and Keith said, taking back their Pokéballs. "Come on out, Clamperl!" Both Clamperl came out right at the same time with the Deep Sea Tooth and Deep Sea Scale in place.

"Doesn't look like anything happened," Hikaru said.

"Maybe," Professor Birch said. Suddenly, both Clamperl started to evolve.

"Professor! Are they?" Kris asked.

"Yes. It's time," Professor Birch said. Both Clamperl had evolved into the Pokémon they wanted their Clamperl to be.

"My Clamperl is now a Gorebyss!" Nancy cheered.

"And mine's a Huntail!" Keith said.

"It's not like using an evolutionary stone like a Fire Stone or a Moon Stone, because it makes them evolve quickly. Right, professor?" Ash asked.

"Yes, it shows that there's a lot to learn about Pokémon," Professor Birch said.

"How about we take your newly evolved Pokémon out for a swim?" May suggested.

"Sure!" Nancy and Keith said in unison. Nancy and Keith let their Huntail and Gorebyss swim around the pool. They were happy to see how wonderful their new Pokémon are. Sora and Kairi decided to let their Huntail and Gorebyss join in on the fun as well. They swam around and around, playing happily.

"Just look at that. They're playing so happily," Lisia said.

"At least they're not fighting each other," Kris said.

"After getting what they want, there doesn't seem to be a reason to," Riku said.

"Glad to hear it," Naminé said.

"I think our work here is done. We should get going as soon as we're ready," Sora said.

"Yeah," the rest of the group agreed.

Meanwhile, over to a Team Magma ship, Courtney is with Maxie as a male grunt entered inside.

"Excuse me, Mr. Maxie, Miss Courtney," the male grunt said.

"This better be important," Maxie said.

"Yes, sir. I just came to inform you that we have located Groudon at last," the male grunt reported.

"Where is Groudon located?" Maxie asked.

"The cave Groudon sleeps in is in a cave at a volcano located on Monsu Island," the male grunt reported.

"Good. We're right on track," Maxie said.

"It looks like the tears we spent searching for the Red Orb and Groudon has finally paid off," Courtney said.

"I agree. Go with him and get the others ready," Maxie ordered.

"I'm on it," Courtney said, taking her leave of Maxie's quarters and he grinned evilly as he stares out of his window.

"My dream of a world of endless land is closer to becoming a reality. And Team Magma will become the rightful rulers of the new world," Maxie said.

Meanwhile, in a Team Aqua submarine, Archie and Matt are in Archie's quarters when a female grunt entered Archie's quarters.

"Archie, I have good news," the female grunt said.

"I'm sure it is, otherwise you wouldn't enter unannounced," Archie said. He looked directly at her. "Report."

"We found Kyogre. It's located in a cavern on Monsu Island," the female grunt reported.

"Kyogre is within our reach, after all our years of searching," Archie said, laughing evilly. "Everything is finally falling into place. Matt, go meet with the grunts and get them prepared."

"You can count on me, Archie," Matt said, stepping out with the female grunt. Archie laughed evilly again.

"The world of a vast ocean will soon be born. Team Aqua will at last be the rulers of the new world, and with Kyogre as my weapon, nothing and no one can stop me. Not even Maxie and his Team Magma," Archie said as he evilly chuckled.

Meanwhile, Looker is in an alleyway in Sootopolis City where he's meeting with an informant.

"Well?" Looker asked.

"Okay, Team Aqua has the Blue Orb and Team Magma has the Red Orb and I got some chatter that the Pokémon they're looking for are on Monsu Island. And that's all I got," the informant said.

"You did good. Now, get out of here," Looker said. The informant took off. Just then, Steven and another man entered the alleyway.

He is a tall, thin young man with light blue eyes and teal blue hair that curls gracefully around his head. He also wears a white beret. He wore a long white pants, which are connected to his teal upper shirt, leaving certain spots near his belly bare. He also has a purple undershirt, which covers a part of his chest. He also wore green, transparent stripes from his shoulders and a small, ripple-edged white cape, as well as a pair of tri-bracelets on his arms.

"How it going on your end, Looker?" Steven asked.

"Just got word that Team Aqua and Team Magma are closer to their goals. They're heading for Monsu Island," Looker said.

"The day I was afraid would happen has come. They don't realize the danger they're bringing to the world," the man said.

"I know, Wallace. And your knowledge of these legendary Pokémon and the orbs are the reason I recruited you for help. Our next goal is to infiltrate their ranks. Steven and I will infiltrate Team Magma while you infiltrate Team Aqua," Looker said.

"Understood," Wallace said.

Steven went with Looker to infiltrate Team Magma as Wallace went off to infiltrate Team Aqua. They knew the road ahead of them is a dangerous one, but given the circumstances, they were given very little choice.

After a couple of hours, the group boarded on Wailord's back and got ready to head for the next island.

"Say, dad, what are you going to do for a while?" Brendan asked.

"Since my research on the Clamperl is completed, I'll be sticking around for a little while longer," Professor Birch said.

"Okay. And don't forget to give mom a ring later," Brendan said.

"I'll try not to," Professor Birch assured his son. "Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Ash, Leaf, Ethan, Kris, Lyra, May, Max, Lisia, it's good to see you as always. And it was nice to meet you, Hikaru," Professor Birch said.

"We'll see you soon," Sora said. They waved goodbye as Wailord began to swim to the next island. As they sailed, Nancy and Keith rode on their Huntail and Gorebyss.

"Hey!" The two kids called out, catching up with them.

"How are things back home?" Sora asked.

"Great! When we got home, we showed our new Pokémon to everyone, they started to train their Pokémon on Islands B and C," Nancy said.

"Yeah, and everyone is starting to get along with everyone else," Keith added.

"Looks like you two started a new trend," Kris said.

"And it was thanks to all of you," Keith said.

"Just take care of your Huntail and Gorebyss, you two," Kairi said.

"We will," Keith said.

"You do the same!" Nancy said.

The ship sailed off as the kids waved goodbye to the group. Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Ash, Leaf, Ethan, Kris, Lyra, Brendan, May, Max, Lisia, Pikachu, Angel, Eevee, Azurill, Xipak, Celeste, and Marill has walked into a fued without end until this very day. They continued on to Mossdeep City while continuing their island adventure with another one coming up.
