A continuation of the story "Luminescence". Ignis is a changed man in the disaster of Insomnia's fall. Did he truly lose everything? How will he navigate the literal and symbolic darkness? How can he save his King during his ascension without neglecting those that need him in the interim? This is a story of love, hope, and determination. A bit more fluff in this one. Enjoy!

This is a continuation of my first story, "Luminescence".

I thought I was quite content with the way it ended. And in a way, I was. But the more I thought about it, that wasn't the end of Ignis' story. Not to mention, then alternate endings of 'Episode Ignis' made me think about alternate endings to my own story—and to the story of Noct's ascension.

This is a tale of Ignis trying to find his way through his own dark plight; Struggling to find a clue as to how to save his chosen king, while not neglecting those who need him in the interim.

It starts with journal entries, as the previous story did. However, it does gradually shift to a more story-style of writing.
