"Alright darling," Liz smiled at the teen as Lia walked into the bar.
"Yeah, did you sleep well?" Lia asked as Liz continued to put the glass away.
"Yeah not too bad, I'm taking Amy to school this morning, do you want anything from Dev's on the way back?" Liz asked.
"No your alright, I was gonna make Chelle and Steve a coffee, do you want one before you go?" Lia asked.
"No your alright darling I think I'm gonna go to Roy's on the way back, catch up with Deirdre," Liz explained.
"Awe enjoy," Lia smiled turning around to walk out.
"Thanks love," Liz replied before calling, "Awe could you do me a favour, just make sure Amy's ready, we're leaving in five."
"Yeah no bother," Lia nodded before walking into back room to reveal Steve, Michelle and Amy around the table, "Ames Liz said to make sure your ready, yous are leaving in 5 minutes."
"Awe dad, I don't wanna go," Amy whined.
"Ames you can't just not go," Steve explained.
"Can I come back here tonight?" Amy asked.
"Well, yeah of course darling, but we'll have to ask your mum," Steve agreed, "Don't you want to spend time with your mum or grandma and grandad?"
"All mum does is spend time with Rob or complain that grandad keeps talking about Uncle Peter, its so much better here," Amy explained.
"Okay," Steve sighed, "You go grab your bag and I'll talk to your mum while your at school."
"Thank you," Amy grinned before running off.
"Oh that'll be a fun conversation," Michelle chirped as Steve nodded in agreement.
"Two coffees," Lia announced as she put the mugs down in front of Steve and Michelle and took a seat.
"Thanks darling," Michelle accepted the mug wrapping her hand around the mug.
"What are you two up to today then?" Steve asked sipping his coffee.
"Well I'm off to the brewery and Lia is off to the factory with Rob to finish the school work she didn't do yesterday," Michelle chirped slightly sarcastically.
"So a fun packed day," Lia quipped as Michelle rolled her eyes, "Anyway, I did my work yesterday."
"Believe it or not me and Rob do communicate," Michelle smirked as Lia huffed.
"Rob just exaggerates," Lia tutted as Michelle rolled her eyes.
"I'm taking Amy," Liz announced putting her head round the door.
"Okay," They all chimed.
"Have a good day princess," Steve hugged his daughter as she and Liz left.
"Right come on you," Michelle tapped on the table in front on her niece, "I'll drop you off at the factory before I go to the brewery."
"Lia huffed, "Give a minute I need to get my shoes."
"See you in a bit babe," Michelle said as she stood up and kissed Steve on the forehead.
"Let me know how it goes," Steve smiled blowing Michelle a kiss as she left.
"Lia, I'm waiting outside," Michelle called up the stairs before blowing a kiss back to Steve and walking out of the pub.
The hours passed quickly after Michelle left as Lia and Rob cracked on with their work separately.
"Mr Donovan, I'm going to do the cake run, would you like anything?" Sally asked.
"No your alright thanks Sally," Rob replied.
"Lia?" Sally wondered.
"I'll have a éclair if your offering," Lia smiled as Sally nodded and shut the door.
"Mr Donovan?" Lia smirked.
"Shut it you," Rob scoffed as his phone rang.
"Tracy...," Rob started as Lia rolled her eyes, "Trace, I'm not coming home to see him moping on the sofa depressed. I might actually strangle him...fine I'll be there in 10."
"Well that backfired for you didn't it," Lia stated.
"Trace wants me to see her for lunch, but Ken's gone out and he doesn't want Peter being left on his own," Rob explained.
"The joys," Lia commented.
"I take it you won't want to come," Rob guessed as Lia nodded.
"Bingo," Lia confirmed.
"Are you gonna be alright on your own?" Rob asked, "I'll deal with Tracy if you want me to stay, we could go to Roy's."
"No its fine, Chelle's gonna pop over, I'll leave you to enjoy your delightful lunch," Lia smirked slightly as her uncle sighed and began to head for the door.
"Oh Rob, don't do anything to Peter," Lia began, "It's bad enough my mum's in prison I'd prefer to not have to have two separate visiting days."
"Hilarious," Rob retorted as she rolled her eyes.
"I do try. If you don't laugh you cry," Lia smirked as Rob shook his head and left the office.
Lia sat for about 10 minutes on her own before she heard the factory lot burst out of the door and let it swing in their shadow. It wasn't long after that the door opened and closed again, Michelle stepping into the office shortly after.
"What you doing here, sitting in the quiet on your own," Michelle stated perching on the side of the desk.
"Well her ladyship beckoned Rob for lunch and she can't leave Peter on his own so Rob's had to go over to the house," Lia explained, "And the factory lot are on lunch."
"Why didn't you come over?" Michelle asked.
"Well I knew you were coming over anyway, so what's the difference," Lia shrugged.
"Hey, what's up sweetheart," Michelle questioned stroking her niece's hair.
"Nowt," Lia shook her head as Michelle raised her eyebrows, "I've just been thinking that's all."
"About?" Michelle asked.
"Just Tracy, yesterday," Lia explained.
"Oh babe don't let Tracy get in your head," Michelle sighed.
"No I know, but when she said, I'm glad we got rid of yous, as in like me and mum," Lia continued, "What do you think she means by 'we'."
"Well she'll be on about the Barlow's won't she, she'll be making it out like they're some sort of not to be messed with family," Michelle shrugged.
"Aha," Lia nodded.
"What're you thinking Lia?" Michelle questioned.
"What if Tracy knows something," Lia started as Michelle raised her eyebrows, "What if Peter attacked Tina and told Tracy, then Tracy packed him off to rehab so no one would think anything of it."
The room filled with silence the only sound that could be heard was the deep sigh of Michelle as she pulled her niece into her side, as she hugged her tightly.
