Chapter 11:Goodbye Friends
At the bar area of the manor right now sitting all by himself right now was james ironwood. Who was busy doing one thing drowning his sorrows on what he heard. The man heard how they still have four maidens. But without the keys they need to figure out a new way to open the vault. Ozpin said their was one way but he would need time to think about it
While he was glad to see his old friends hearing all those children died in the evucation was heartbreaking. He got to know all of them very well in those three months. But it felt like they instilled a hope in him that day that wasn't going to burn out
But he was also upset since those childrens parents are here grieving for the childen they'll never see again. He couldnt help but drink to relieve him os his problems right now. Ironwood had a bottle of whiskey in hand as he poured it into a cup. Then downed it as he sighed
"This seat taken partner or you gonna keep mopping around"henry saidn as ironwood stared at him
"Its not…care to join a general drowning his sorrows right now"ironwood replied taking another drink
Henry took the seat next to him as the detective sighed pulling out a pack of ciegerrete. He pulled one out sticking it in his mouth covering it with his hand as he pulled a zippo lighter out lighting it.
"Want a smoke james?"henry asked
"No thanks those thing are deathsticks"ironwood replied as the detective chuckled at that
"Your worry about these being the death of you? We might be fighting in a huge war soon with an immortal witch."the dective said but corrected himself
"Semi immortal if we stick her with a piece of metal. You seen the video"he added
Ironwood chuckled"i did….seems that oz didn't even know that. Though i noticed that some of them won't stop surrounding oscar"he said with worry
As right now oscar was getting questions left and right from the gravekeepers. The general thought they were anger at him but actually they were asking questions about their previous archangels since he met all of them before the past four hundred years
Henry chuckled"kids a celebrity. Though….you doing okay still after everything that happened in atlas"henry asked
Ironwood stared at the bottom of his glass seeing his relfeciton for a moment. The man quickly filled it knowing he can't fix things with a bottle of whiskey. Though he hoped to make amends with the people he harmed in atlas
"I am still a little troubled after everything that happened. But i hope to make amends…how are you handling nancy death"ironwood asked to start some conversation
Herny took a deep breath for his cigarette before blowing it out as the smoke wafted through the air for a moment
"I'm upset she gone. But…the kid was a good one. I'm also upset on well you know the thief i could never catch. Strange how i never caught swan all i found was her mask…must have ditched the life"henry joked as ironwood chuckled into a sigh
"Funny how we have criminals in our midst. But they seem to want to keep our world alive just as much as us. "Ironwood said
"Amen to that…though i'll probably help out where i can. Maybe keep an eye on that girl brother for her. Owe her since well the other friend of hers in a coma still"henry replied
"Yes but–"ironwood was stopped as the sound of a mic echoing could be heard. This drew all of the people attention as front and center in the entire dinning hall was lilith who cleared her throat
"Wonder if their kicking us out right now"henry said as the two tuned to the small stage they had in the room
"Everyone i know you've had a nice time honoring those we lost. But right now my mother would like to say a few words before we end tonight festivities."lilith said as this made everyone mutter right now. They all began to take their seats right now as desdemona took the stage
They all began to quiet down for her to give her small speech it seems to them. But the old women coughed before she spoke
"As you all may know tonight is a night where we honored those who have past during the evacuation of atlas. Something i'm sure everyone here is devastated to hear right now since some of you knew them as friends…family…daughters…sons and lovers"desdemona started as they stayed in silence with a wave of grief washing over them right now
But they all listened as she motioned for something. That being about four acolytes carrying a recntangular piece with a tarp covering it as they placed it near her as she continued
"Though no offense to the kind headmaster of shade. But the momentum you all made was not the best in my opinion"desdemona bluntly said making people to mumuer as theodore stepped forward taking a chance to head onto the stage
"Well my dear we could't make anything grand. We have no clue when salem will attack or not"theodore said as the women decided to offer him something
"Well that is why i wanted to say something to end our night of festivities. We shall end with a small pray for the people you all cheirhsed that brought us here. But in our family we have a traditions for when an archangel pass. As you see all of these potraits are of the previous holders of lucifer gift"she continued gesturing to all the portraits around the room
Everyone stared at them for a bit as the old women stared at the tarp for a moment. Then she walked over using her cane as she grabbed the hem of the tarp corner piece to take it off
"Which is something that we do for the ones that we lost."she said pulling the tarp back to reveal it being a portrait of zane graves. As he was posing in the portrait ontop of a dead wyvern as nightshade was in its scyhte form buried in its skull. With remorse on his right and merciless on his right buried onto the ground. While his daul revolver where in hands as he crossed his arms with them
This made some of them confused but nadia saw this going teary eyed that her son family does that for the people that pass. But some where wondering where this was going as the old women continued
"This is a portrait of well my would to be replacement if he didn't perish along with being my grandchild. But i would like to offer something instead of your childrens names on some hunk of rock. If you could send me or bring me picture of the children we lost i can have them make personalized portraits for each of the grieving familes. To have you remeber them before we go into this grand war"desdemona stated
They all stayed quiet right now hearing her say that to all of them right now. As the parents of the children where in complete shock. With raven going wide eyed that this old women is willing to make something like that for her daughter. As calida gasped for a moment covering her face as walking to the stage was winter making her stand infront of the crowd
"Well that would be very nice of–"winter was stopped as someone had a better idea
"Wait!"leah called out which made everyone stare at her with a glare. But the artist went red faced as desdemona looked over as she waved her hand as the crowd slightly cleared to make her presnance known
"Dear do you need something?"Desdemona sweetly asked
As leah was about to talk but froze up with all the people staring at him right now. Though deciding to help her was neon who grabbed her sketchwbook presenting it to everyone
"Leah said she had an idea of painting a mural somewhere in vacuo right now for the people we lost! She said we could get some other artist together to make a proper memorial to the people we lost!"neon said as the artist blushed embarrassed
As the crowd stayed silent for a moment theodore began to laugh at that as he smiled
"Well that does seem like a better idea. It would inspire hope for the people of vacuo. Tell you what tomorrow come meet me at the academy and we can come up with something together. Would everyone agree to that?"theodore asked as the attendants of the small event all agreed with mumurers or nods right now
Though soon enough they held a small pray session for the people they lost. As they had pictures of the departed on a table with candles light. All of them had a moment of silence before long they were escorting the people that didn't live here out. But as they did some were approaching leah
"You…you actually want to do that for my daughter?"kali asked teary eyed as leah rubbed her neck
"Y-yeah i…i wanted to help make them remembered. I uh owe them that much after well…"leah paused as yumi spoke up
"She put a bunch of screwed up drawing on our doors one morning. Along with messing with us for a few days."yumi said making leah go red in the face right now as sienna rolled her eyes
"That one tried to kill all of us i'm sure. Besides your making my partner cry right now"sienna said as nadia had tears streaming down her face as she walked over shoving leah head into her bust as she hugged her
"Thank you…thank you"nadia cried as leah escaped the loving embrace being suffocated by her girls as she panted for air
"No problem…though i'm gonna need a big canvas."leah said staring at her notebook thinking of her new project right now that will be coming ahead right to call it a night they all started to head to bed for the night. Soon enough the morning sun started to rise back over vacuo right now. But some of them weren't feeling great as they suffered a massive hangover right now. With all of them up by either just drinking some coffee or in bonnet case hurling into a trashcan
Bonnet kept dry heaving before puking into a trashcan as she spit into it groaning
"My tummy and head hurts"bonnet whined into the trashcan with her puke as hairett groaned rubbing her head
"Shut up bon…ughhh my head…i regret drinking that much"hairett replied as ember was having a massive headache right now
"Well some proper rest should fix this right up dear"ember said but they had something else for this
"Actually we can just take some pain meds to relive your headaches. You'll still feel sick but that can be gone just like that"katherine said presenting a bottle of tylenol but ember looked very confused
"Drugs? But in my time we used proper rest to treat most injuries or leechs…or cutting someone to drain them of their bad blood"ember said as they forgot she never experienced modern medicine
"I forgot she never seen modern medicine. Though you can experience it now"carmen said as katherine hand ember a couple tablets. As the women stared at them before downing them with a nice glass of water. She didn't feel different
"Nothing happened"ember replied
"It takes time for the effect to kick in. though some of you smell like a bar….dravan"verona said as her husband had an ice pack on his head whining from the slightly loud noise
"Shut up i wanna just lay down and curl up and die"dravan said as his head was throbbing right now. As walking out of a nearby room was akasha with a sleepy ilia. Along with by her side was slater, orichie along with trifia who stretched her arms out till they made a loud pop
"God why did i spend the night here"trifia asked
"Because none of us wanted to walk back in the crowded airhsips or trucks. But hey we could all stay here right"akasha asked as razptuin was their
"Anosultuely not. I don't even know all of you and you could be spys"razputin said but desdemona reached up snatching her baby brother by the ear
"Ow! Ow ow! What the heck des?"razputin asked as she glared at him
"They can stay little brother. I am on our council and so are you. But they are friends of my grandchilds friends. Beside we cleared more space out though you should find some housing i suggest in town. It might be smart"desdemona said
"Why i thought you had room here"aruna asked
"We do but at some point the rest of the family will come here. Some of us are deep in hiding and we've seny envoys to seek them out"edudurado explained
"Right uh hey its that spider chick from before how you been"cardin asked as trifia scoffed
"If you count me happy to hear the fang has been turned into something new. Fine…though sorry to hear all all of your losses"trifia said softly
"Thanks though i would like to take a shower or bath right now. I smell"diamona said as an idea came to pana mind
"Ohhh we have a giant onsen here on the compound property. Its mixed but we can separate it so the boys can have one side and the girls have the other"pana said with a grin but someone stopped her
"Shes lying! That women will wanna tease the girls and make the boys feel embrased run"mars warned as they laughed at that for a moment but some liked the sound of a nice warm bath sounds excellent right now
"A warm bath does sound nice…how about this the girls use it first then the boys. Who knows which one of them are perverts"yama joked before clearing her throat pointing at her brother who stared at her betrayed
"I have a girlfriend!"loki shouted with a flush
"Meh she picked an ugly duckling of the family"yama quipped as razma began to laugh at the two right now
"It is genetic! Whats next a baby gonna start throwing puns around the place"razma said with major sarcasm
Though soon enough some of the girls decided to get into the large bath right now. They were being lead outside by lilith who showed them to a large building that had steamy windows on it right now. They looked at the building a akasha whistles at the sight of it right now
"Man you guys have one big bathouse…its bigger than the one at the belladonna place i bet"akasha said
"You mean how they pranked us the first day we saw it"jazmine said pointing at her mother and the tiger faunus as katherine gigglged
"But it was funny beside you all need to take a shower a few of you reek of booze."katherine said. Without anymore more arguing they all stepped inside the bathhouse. They put their clothes in some cubbies that were provided. But they all looked at the sight of the bathhouse right now
It looked like it was the size of a olympic pool but cut in half. Several rocks lined the sides of the bathhouse to fit the atmosphere. With their being one large rock on the far side that had it in the shape of an angel statute. It carried a pitcher that had water coming out of it making it a mini waterfall. They all were slipping into the water as it consisted jazmine, aruna, velvet, may, razma, eden, meg, calida, ember, katherine, nadia, robyn,pyrrha, nora, hairett, mariana. Along with trifa, ilia and akasha joining. With lilith, pana and yama their along with julia.
As ember sighed in immense relief as the effect of the medicine kicked in. But she had quite a moderate bust to her along with a slender figure to her. As for yama she had a decent sized bust while she had a skinny and athletic figure to her
But for julia she had a moderate bust size to her along with that having curvy hips. Along with toned arms and legs with her hair let down as she let it soak in the water. With pana humming to herself as everything was on display. As she had a large sized bust with her tattoos on display and piercing that people normally don't see in public. Lilith had a moderate sized bust with toned legs and arms as she had a toned and slender build to her.
"Oh my god this is amazing…i haven't had something like this in years"ember said in glee

"Oh is my little girl scared i'm gonna find out what she does with her girlfriends"susan cooed as mariana laughed
"Hey girly your legs still sore about you six all got comfy after dealing with the poahcer"mariana cooed as velvet went red face as her wrist was still banaged from yesterday. As eden dunked her head with a flush look as akasha laughed at them in joy

"Well we did do it…bow chicka wow wow"razma joked making some of them laugh as pana was laughing in complete joy as she whipped a tear away from her eyes
"This is why your my favoirte employee"pana replied as her sister stared at her before shoving her head under water. Letting her go pana spat water from her mouth
"Of course my perverted little sister would like a pervert. God…our family picks up strange individuals"lilith said pressing her fingers

"n-no…i..um…i just don't um…"Trifia paused as swimming over to her was mariana who hummed for a moment
"We cna't have that. Let me help you"mariana said as trifia tried to escape her grasp. But it was too late as with some effort mariana tore the wraps away expecting her to be flat chested. Though she wasn't except having a large set of clevage which made mariana surprised
"Well these little wraps held all that in…why don't you strut that around and get yourself a man"marian said
"First off some people find this embrassing…second…i'm into girls and guys jerk"trifia growled in embarrassment as razma hummed

"Thats quite rude dear. Thats how spider faunus are their bioology is a little different. "Katherine said swimming over before staring at her

Trifia gave her it as the wolf faunus pointed at the veins that ran up from her wrist to her chest.
"These websacs contain her webbing which she can fire out from her wrist. While the veins on her chest and arms are well her venom. Most spider faunus have a secret set of fangs hidden in their mouths they use to inject their venom into people"katherine said sounding like an expert
"You know your spider faunus"liltih replied as trifia chuckled slightly
"Well uh shes right because ollie was taken in by her. He was a nut case"trifia said
"Oh he was but…"katherine then struck as this was her plan. Immediately the women placed both hands under her bust making trifia go flush in the face
"I wanted to tease someone since that little service cheered me up. Hearing miss gogh wants to make a mural of my baby girl."katherine said before squeezing her chest making the spider faunus go eep for a moment
"Made me get into a teasing mood"she added with a grin as trifia broke free trying to escape the teasing. But she then bumped into velvet as the girl backed up
"Please don't tease me like them"trifia cried in embrassment as velvet blushed from that action
"Umm…i'm more of the person getting teased than the teaser"Velvet shyly said as hariett chuckled
"She is…though what the heck is up with your wrist kid? What you accidentally cut yourself or something yesterday"hairett said making velvet jump slightly as she took the moment to leave right now
"I um need to go right now. Sorry i think i'm done"velvet said quickly grabbing a nearby towel to dry off. This conenred them as katherine looked at meg who lookd away. The tiger swam over as she leaned down close to whisper
"Meg whats up with her? What happened?"katherine whipesered as meg soften her gaze
"My little girl was slitting her wrist in the shower yesterday"meg cried as katherine went wide eyed. As they all got dried off for the day katherine noticed velvet rushing inside of the house to hide from them. While dragged meg to the side to talk for a moment
"Meg…meg who else knows about this"kathrine questioned with worrie look on her face
"I..i…eden…cardin…elm and…calida. I…god…i know she hurt about her lost love. But god…i didn't know it would be this bad"meg cried as the wolf faunus soften her gaze finding this terrible to hear right now. She misses her daughter but if she was here she would be their for her
"Have you talked to diamona about getting her therapy"katherine said as she shook her head
"No but i asked carmine this morning she said she could do it. It'll be a quick session since she scheduled a few of the others for a small session."meg replied
"Okay good…i…i want to be their…look i know how much those two meant to her as they were her first. But god…i want to be their for my little girl. Do you mind"katherine asked
"Not at all. Lets head inside and make her comfortable for when we question her okay"meg said nodding in agrement as they went into
Later on outside the compound after getting their bath. Some of them where outside talking with each other on what to do on their day off right now
"So what do you guys wanna do on our day off today"jazmine asked
"No clue i really don't know"mercury replied
"Hmmm well we can either trian or visit shade academy. Maybe we could meet some of the other students here"Ren suggested as that sounded like a pleasant idea right now for them

"Great! But uh…you gonna head to theodore office i guess to figure out where your gonna do the mural"aruna replied as leah was carrying some art supplies but she needed to make a stop in town for some paint brushes and other materials
"I need to make a stop in town for some paint supplies first. Any idea where one is"leah asked

"Sorry thats a weird habit of hers. Though that lynx would do whatever it is your thinking. Probably went out to kill some grimm out in the desert or worse fight the unseen eye. I suggest not even fighting them now"celeste said worrying them
"Oh great what did those cutlist freak get better guns or something"mercury growled
"Worse. Those freaks have been increasing their training their are more claw operatives out their now. Heck even a few tried to run into the city but the atlas barricade gunned them down in an instant. "Celeste said as jillian tugged on her mother shirt
"Momma can i have some juice"jillian cutely asked

"Carmine and ghastly asked me to help with therapy for some of you. Which is smart i'm a psychologist and majored in it in the military. But uh i broke skulls mind showing me inside"celeste asked
"Sure i was staying here anyway. Something up with dawn still she keeps whining and uh…getting fatter"razma said
"We should really get her checked out at a vet"cardin mentioned but they wondered what vet would examine her
"Ummm how? Because she you know a grimm the only one here would be carmine or…professor port maybe. Hes a grimm expert though hes grieving for his daughter"nora replied as they thought about that for tomorrow
"We can discuss this tomorrow. Though where heading out you got her raz?"sun asked as she nodded
They all went their separate ways as they walked inside. They walked through the halls but as they walked into the living to see where carmine was. Their were people waiting their that being perun, asani, yuri, jake, along with zoey who was busy rubbing dawn head as she whined heavily still seeming in pain

"Huh weird well i'm gonna check on my girl. Keep dawn safe for me okay"razma said as they walked into the halls to find where this mini therapy session is right now not knowing what they might stumble into
Right now in a makeshift therapy room that seemed to be a bed room. They had placed the bed in a certain way to function as a lounge chair. But meg sat at the end of the bed with her daughter sitting their balled up with her ears flopped over. As katheirne was their as carmine has been asking her questions for a while now
"Now dear i know it hurts that you lost someone you loved. But you need to talk, because it'll help"carmine said
Velvet ears sagged up and down"but…but…everytime i think i'm doing better…more people i care about die"velvet said with teary eyes as katherine walked over taking her left hand with a concerned look
"Dear…i miss my daughter just as much as you. But your here to seek help because…carmine prepare yourself"katherine warned
Carmine stayed silent as katherine reached over pulling velvet right hand up. But she rolled her wrist down a little to reveal the bandages on her arms. The women began to undo them as carmine went wide eyed in shock right now. She looked to see fresh razor cuts on her wrist
"Oh…sweetie…how…how long have you done this?"carmine questioned concerned as velvet looked down ashamed
"N-not um long…i..um…i…i just wanted to um…"velvet stammered her words unable to form them right now. As carmine sighed as she checked something off her clipboard she had with her
"Dear. i can tell that wasn't their yesterday morning…did you do it after we had the small party last night"Carmine asked as meg soften her gaze toward her daughter
"We um..i…i found her in the shower doing it"meg said as her daughter felt betrayed as she shoved katherine back
"I'm not talking about this…i…i need time to myself…b-bye"velvet said trying to leave but as she reached the door. It opened before she gabbed the handle as stepping in was razma with celeste right behind her
"Hey bun you in here with alcus we–"razma stopped looking at the current situation as celeste shut the door behind her. As velvet tried to escape as celeste blocked it guessing they made sure something stopped in time
"Okay thats not a good sign. Whats up with you kiddio"celeste said as velvet growled at her
"I'm fine…get out of my way i um..um…ummm…"Velvet stopped shaking right now as razma stared at her girlfriend for a moment. But stared at her wrist before going wide eyed seeing a fresh razor scar their. Razma went wide eyed before dragging velvet onto the bed before wrapping her arms around her
"No…no…no…no…why..why would you do this?"razma asked as celeste noticed the scars now as she crossed her arms disappointed
"Oh kid…that aint right. How long have you been cutting yourself"celeste asked as velvet stayed queit for a moment as she sniffed trying hard not to cry as she looked down
"I don't know…it..um…helped me relieve some stress yesterday before the service"velvet meekly admitted making her mother worried sick for her right now.
"Sweeite…sweetie that isn't right. You should never do something like that ever"meg cried with concern as velvet looked away not wanting to look her in the face. Carmine wrote some things down as she sighed rubbing her eyes
"Dear. look i know how much pain your in…you lost your teammates…and you lost two people you loved. But doing something like that will not make the pain go away ever"carmine said as velvet leaned into razma arms feeling some comfort with her as she kept petting the back of her head right now to comfort her
"Then why do i keep losing people i care about…first yatsu…fox…then it was coco…now onxyia and zane. I..i…i want it to stop…i don't want my parents or girlfriend to be next"velvet cried and cried as razma soften her gaze pulling her up to get a better look at her
Tears were running down her face right now as she whipped them away with her thumps shaking her head

Velvet sat their crying right now as dawn sniffed her laying her head on her lap licking her hand. With razma kneeling next to her hugging her close in her arms. They all silently prayed before faba had an idea
"Hey…you wanna say hi to my nieces parents and brothers. Heard your partners parents are with them."faba said
"That would be wonderful. I need to ask that women why her daughter had such a mouth"katherine said
"Blame her three brothers. Come on lets go say hi"faba said as they like the sound of that deciding to meet the rest of her teammates familys.
