Chapter 14:A Loudmouths Return
Inside the main office where glynda and oscar where. They along with professor obbleck were going over the notes he had. The man was speeding through the journal at blinding speeds before placing the book down.
"It appears that some of these items you said can open the seals on the door can be found. Three of them appear to be artifct held within your possession oz"oobleck quickly said making oscar wince which glynda noticed
"Sorry…oobleck is always like this"glynda siad as oobleck drank a piping cup of coffee quickly as ozpin chuckled in oscar head
"Hes never stops if your wondering oscar. That man drinks too much his veins are praticualry made of coffee"ozpin said as walking into the room was ironwood
"Seems your hard at work figuring out where those keys. How many do we have right now?"ironwood asked taking a seat with them as ozpin told oscar something
"Their not extalcty keys…more like objects he cheirhses through life. But uh…some of them are still hidden all we know is what they are. A…violin? Sailors hat…and uh….knife?"oscar asked confused right now as glynda stared at the farmboy
"Of course he'd do something like that. He mentioned to me before how some of those items mean a great dealof significance in his life. You said you can find them"glynda asked as oscar nodded hearing what ozpin told him
"Well he says their in certains places in those kingdoms. Lucky for us he snatched the one from atlas ahead of time. He placed it in the care of the crosbys"oscar replied
"Hmm smart thinking oz. with atlas gone…it'll be hard to rebuild it"ironwood said with a hurt look on his face. Which ooblekc noticed as the man adjusted his glasses
"James. You have no one to blame but that witch. Don't beat yourself on what happened"oobleck said as the general sighed chcukling

Glynda growled as she waved her crop around his thermos. Before oobleck knew it a hot brew of coffee was dump on his head making him wince in pain from the hot drink

"Where on our way down. Head to the teachers lounge i'll tell theo and alcus to meet us their."ironwood said hanging up as he stared at them
"Seems we have a new problem….or a new allies hopefully"glynda replied
They made their way down the elevator to meet the others as they walked into the teachers lounge. Which was a simply little room with a fridge and table to eat and drink to pass the time. But right now whistling could be heard from the bathroom.
With gwen sitting on the couch wondering things with yumi studying her scroll on the date she pulled. Along with rusty rubbing the top of his head confused as may was consoling a crying neptune right now. With clover and carmine their as clover noticed them

That being the loudmouth of mistral academy tanner mckay with a grimm like appearance

"What? Never seen a dead guy before?"he asked bluntly as his father slowly stepped forward with tears starting to form in his eyes. As the man reached out placing two hands on his head feeling it as he went wide eyed before his lips quivered into a smile
"M-my….you god dam idiot! Your alive! My son is alive!"gasper cried out in joy as deborah gasped running over hugging her child in her arms beginning to sob right now. With ame gasping covering her mouth as tears where starting to break right now
Slater had tears starting to break through his eyes as orchie covered her face in complete shock. Zephyra had tears with her tail starting to sway around like crazy. Perun stared in shock with tears starting to break through his eyes
Soon enough tanner separated from his parents before staring at his best friend. Then he walked over as perun felt him embracing him as tanner smiled
"Dam crosby you got ugly."tanner said making perun crack as he began to sob into his best friend chest right now. Immediately slater and orchie rushed over joining in a hug as ame sprinted over hugging him. Zephyra joined in the embrace in shock
"How are you alive?!"zephyra cried in tears with glynda looking shocked to see another student back from the dead. Which meant watts took more than one body from argus

"Who hurt my niece!?"mari shotued in anger rushing over as she cradled her but piper kept kicking and screaming with tears running down her face. With katherine looking very concerned because this didn't make sense
"Okay summer why did you….wait her…her skin is hissing steam. But…summer isn't in here…whats going on"tai questioned
"I don't but i….what the"jazmine said as they watched something happen right now. Slowly the little girl who had white skin before them had something happen. Slowly her bleached skin started to molt away like a new layer of skin was coming in
They looked in shock right now as she was still crying her eyes out right now as the steam started to die down. But as it did it soon revealed someone with their with lightly tanned skin. hey all stared in shock as being held by her aunt crying from pain was…a normal looking piper
"What the hell…i…i that…that little kid dosn't have white skin…what…how!?"kate shouted in shock
"First off lets get her to calm down. It'll be okay sweetie"katherine said about to heal her but the pain settled it seems as she shook hugging her aunt for dear life
"The pretty looking stick burned"piper cried out aloud to their confusion. But tai looked on the ground finding the trident piece as he went wide eyed staring at them
"I…i…it…clensed her…this thing is the cure for grimm hybrids"tai said in shock right now

But at the academy right now tanner was completely shirtless. With carmine examining his body right now as assisting her was verde being brief on what happened. The two kept continuing their exmaintion with a worried deborah close by pacing like crazy in the room right now. With some soldiers in the room which ame noticed
"Kinda weird to have armed guards in here during a medical exam"ame pointed out as ironwood glanced at her before looking straight ahead. Clover had crossed arms as he avoided their gazes
"You better tell us some good news for us soon doc"perun asked as carmine was examining his back with the chimera hissing at her in anger with tanner not even bothered by it before pounding his back with a painful hiss being heard
"Shut up before i hit you…owww!"tanner said feeling pain their again as a laughing hiss could be heard from his back
"Its laughing at us!"orchie shouted in anger as carmine sighed as she adjusted her glasses with a dreadful look on her face right now.
"So whats the call? Can you cure my son….please tell me i'm not going to loose him again"gasper begged with worry
Carmine sighed staring at them upset"ummm i did my test and um..i…i….god i'm sorry. Its too far into the bonding stages. It wrapped itself around his brain stem and interal organs. If…if i try to remove it….he'll die. Its in the late stage but how its structure itself in his bodie. I can't remove it"she explained to their complete dread hearing they got their fiend who might become under control of some parasite right now
"My babie is going to die!?"deborah cried in agony
"No…no we can put him in a collar to keep it sterile. It won't remove it but it'll be quiet"clover replied
"So my son either wears a stupid collar or we…we…"gasper paused eyeing the soldier in the room seeing them with very itchy trigger fingers. He growled as he stepped forward shileding his son who was processing this a little.
"Your not kiling my son!"Gasper shouted as clover sighed pressing his fingers on his temple
"Sir…look…we…we either let him roam around with a collar. Then someone breaks it on accident and…that thing takes over him. It…it'll make him hurt his friends…you and your wife weather he likes it or not"Clover said with a sorrowful look
"Their has to be a way to save him!"ame cried in despaartion as suddenly the doors were kicked in as walking in was elm

"Clover look at what happened to piper!"elm shouted presenting the uras faunus. But they all went wide eyed to see a normal skin colored girl who was still on the verge of tears from early. With neptune jaw dropping in shock as gwen rubbed her eyes before going wide eyed. With lilith and fin behind them after what they saw
"How does she have her normal skin!"gwen shouted in shock right now with the other bursting in as katherine stepped in with a relived look
"Look we…oh my god"katherine said in shock seeing tanner as the rest noticed him right now as they stared at the grimm hybrid in the room as he dug his finger in his ear flicking it
"What you never seena dead guy before? Nikos was dead guess i came from the dead too"tanner replied with them staring at him as pyrrha was in tears right now but composed herself quickly
"Well uh duh kid i mean your dead. What the heck thats the second one in the last four months"tai commented in complete shock.
"Okay but look over piper real quick"katherine said as they placed her on the table. As she was still crying from the pain as verde walked over making her eye him
"It'll be okay dear, we need to do some quick checkups on you. Can you be a tough girl and do that for us"verde said as piper sniffed rubbing her teary eyes. As Carmine walked over checking her over as she did several quick test along with drawing her blood out. Because as she drew her blood she pulled it out to reveal soemthing instead of black blood it was red to their utter shock
"Its..its red…i..it was at times but i…my little niece is…normal again"mari cried in shock as she hugged her youngest niece in her arms close. As velvet had something pop in her head
"Wait lec! Piper touched the piece of matilda weapon when it touched him he had normal skin and the chimera was gone!"velvet shouted to their shock with deborah rubbing the tears from her eyes
"R-really i…please tell me your not lying"deborah begged as elm had the piece of metal to do it. But it was starting to lose its glow which fin noticed as he grabbed his arm
"Nuh uh that things about to lose the blessing. We only got three weapons coated in it and we need all we can get"fin said but tai glared at him
"You really gonna let someone watch their child die right before their eyes"tai growled as he was about to argue. But he looked at the mckay parents who had scared looks as he stared at the boy before him gritting his teeth. As lilith stared at the piece in his hand snatching it
They watched as she twirled it "well then all i need to do is stab it….then die you dam parasite"she said jamming it in his back where the chimera was. As a ear bleeding screech could be heard as tanner gritted his teeth grunting in pain
His skin started to blister and hiss steam as he clenched his hands on the side bars of the table. As he kpet fighting the urge to scream out in pain as he slowly took a heavy breath
"Ohhhhh this sucks…this sucks….oh this burns like acids under my skin"Tanner grunted in pain right now which worried them. Though quickly yumi was about to use her semblance on him but he stopped her with a grin on his face
"I…i can handle this…man its screaming in my head….ughhh this thing is pissed"tanner siad with a laugh wincing in pain. As they watched with some staring at his back as his skin started to molt away like dust. But some watched as the chimera in his back started to look around crying out in pain
Then a dying screch echoed in the room as burning itself onto his back. Was a black scorchmark of a chimera grimm as they styaed silent with tanner having sweat beating down his bodie. With carmine rushing over grabbing the x-ray scanner
She began to scan him as they all hopd for good news"i..i..did it work…is it gone?"perun asked with a shaky voice. As she looked at the scanner in complete shock right now seeing nothing their as she lookd up with teary eyes right now
"Its…its gone..i…i..i…its gone..i..i..i..i don't detect any traces of it. Its…gone"carmine said in shock to their utter shock they found the cure for those ifnilcited by chimeras. As debroahed rushed over sobbing hugging her son holding him in her arms not wanting to let go right now
With gasper joining them as the family was back together as perun fell to his knees sobbing right now with a smile on his face. They all were overjoyed though slowly carmine face sank into despair as she began to cry her eyes out. She finally saved someone but none of the original victims as she slide down a wall covering her face
"No…no…i could have you all…i could..i..i…your all dead…no…no…i'm a monster"carmine cired quietly to herself which sombra noticed but she walked over before making carmine look up at the sight
"Look i know you wanted to save my dad but…he helped get you here. He might be gone but hes probably happy along with whats happened"sombra said gesturing to the mckay family right now. As the women stared seeing the happy family before her as sombra helped her up
"You saved someone from those things…we can…still save one of them. Two lives will mean alot i'm sure. " sombra said as the women stared at the happy family before her right now sighing as she wished she saved the others. But they were the stepping stones into ridding the victims of these chimera grimm. She finally found the cure
With that we saw that tanner mckay came back from the dead. Yeah bite me I wanted to bring him back for some shengains this is my universe. Besides If you read part 1, I have plans for the next volume maybe. Though piper has normal skin now and I wonder what will happen next chapter. Thanks for reading!
