In Quark's on Deep Space 9, Rom and Leeta are studying a PADD with images of various wedding dresses from Tellarite modern to Risian traditional, but dislike all of them.
"I like this one." Rom pointed out to a revealing wedding dress or lack thereof on the PADD.
Leeta slaps her fiancé on the shoulder and bit her lower lips. "That's a loincloth."
"So? You get to keep the loincloth." Rom says he rubs his shoulder.
Leeta barely punch the sensitive Ferengi hard as she looks at him for second and rolls her eyes.
"I will not be naked for the wedding." Leeta stated to her fiancé who wants a traditional Ferengi wedding.
Rom and Leeta begins to argue what wedding tradition they are going for when Ziyal interrupts the couple.
"Why don't you guys let Garak design one for you. It won't hurt."
"That's flattering and disturbing my dear." Garak said sarcastically, he could design Leeta's wedding gown to her specifications, but the Ferengi stubbornness is making the task burdensome. He would rather be in an interrogation room questioning Romulan spies at a Cardassian embassy in Romulus than watching his clients bickering and losing latinum in the process.
Ziyal heard her lover's statement, and she doesn't like it at all. She bit her lip and opens her mouth. "What's that supposed to mean?" She asks him.
"No offense dear," Garak began as he places his PADD on the table.
Meanwhile Rom and Leeta let the two Cardassian argue, both of them see Captain Benjamin Sisko and Chief O'Brien walking along the Promenade and approach them quietly.
"Keiko and the kids left for Earth this morning."
"I wish Jake would do the same." Sisko said as he peered out of the window.
Before Miles O'Brien could say something encouraging to his commanding officer, Rom and Leeta interrupted them.
"Captain."
"Yes."
"I was wondering if you would marry me...I mean us."
"What he means is that it would be an honor for the emissary of the prophets to officiate our wedding."
"When's the wedding."
"2 weeks."
"I will be honored."
"Thank you Captain." Both of them said as they left with a smile.
Sisko and O'Brien move to one of the Promenade windows where a large crowd has gathered.
"Maybe they're not coming," O'Brien stated. "It's been weeks since they did not use the wormhole to reinforce their numbers on Cardassia."
"That would be a nice surprise, Dominion losing interest. Sisko replies and suddenly, the wormhole opens and spat out a single small ship.
In Ops, Colonel Kira Nerys walks to her station and monitors the wormhole before it opens up. "That's one thing, the Dominion is punctual." She says as she taps a few commands on the console and it beeps the readout and puts the visual on the view screen.
Outside of the station, the wormhole burst to life, spitting out a small single ship with a greenish hull. To the Bajoran and Starfleet personnel, it looks like a shuttle; but to the Tau'ri, it's a human engineered tactical shuttle modified puddle jumper. It's two engines that are attached to a pylon protruding out of the ship retracted into its compartment. The ship itself is damaged, it's broadside hull is literally on fire and it's circuitry exposed to the vacuum of space. Sparks fly out of the exposed circuitry in intermittent intervals.
"Captain, we got a visual of the vessel." Nerys reported as Captain Sisko and Chief O'Brien got out of the turbo lift.
"That doesn't look Dominion." Jadzia says as she zooms in on the small ship on the viewscreen. She notices a lettering on the ship that reads in English USS NATHAN JAMES and Puddle Jumper 02 in lower case.
"Were you able to scan the ship?" Sisko asked one of the officers working on the sensor console as he stood.
"Sensors unable to penetrate the hull of the ship and alloy composition." Worf reported.
"I was able to make a name for the ship."
"USS Nathan James."
The view screen shows the ship is rotating slowly as it sets adrift away from the station. Electrical sparks from the exposed hull could be seen from the engine pod.
"The computer doesn't recognize the ship in the Federation database." Kira said.
"Any life signs?"
Jadzia looks at her console and taps a few buttons and reports. "Like Worf said, sensors can't penetrate the hull of the ship."
"Anything?"
O'Brian nods his head and asks, "Nothing sir."
"Can we use the tractor beam and tow it towards the east upper pylon docking bay."
"Yes sir." Worf said stoically and presses a few buttons, but the computer couldn't accept his commands. "Captain, tractor beam is unable to lock on to the ship."
"Then manually target the ship and reel it in Commander Worf." Captain Sisko orders the Klingon as he references fishing idioms.
"Yes sir. Manually…" Worf tried to target the ship with a tractor beam but to no avail.
The station tractor beam array shot out a bluish beam at the small ship, but the puddle jumper hull deflects the energy beam.
"Tractor beam unable to lock on to the ship."
As they are watching every moment until the computer alerts them that the derelict ship has breached the firewall of the most secure network in the Federation. Lights came on and the puddle jumper engine pod began to stabilize the ship from drifting further away.
"Sir, the ship has scanned us."
All of sudden, in the middle of ops; a holographic image shimmers to life. It was a human male and wearing a gray uniform with a white stitch on his shoulder with a large.
"I assure you that you don't need to take drastic measures."
"Hello, May I ask who you are?" O'Briens jaw drops as he questions the alien.
"I am Sif, I am an artificial intelligence construct for Tau'ri Federation " Sif looks at both men..
"Who is this Tau'ri?"
"In time," Sif looks at Sisko. "I will land the ship in one of your landing bays with your permission."
Captain Benjamin Sisko is about to ask a question when the surroundings change. He knew that he was with the prophets when one of the prophets Emanating The Colonel.
"The game has changed."
"What game?"
"The game has new players."
Worf walks in the office and says "The Dominion is corporeal matters."
"Benjamin, forgive them for they speak in riddles."
A woman with red hair and wearing a Starfleet uniform appears before him. He did not recognize the woman since the prophets emanates the people he knows and spoke in riddles.
"Who are you?"
"I am not your concern, A threat that you can't imagine came through it."
"I don't understand." Benjamin Sisko tries to get head around this new information.
"Olma is wise." The prophets said as they walks around her. "Non-Corporeal is our concern. New player in the game."
Olma has an annoyed look with the Prophets speaking in riddles.
"His name is Ba'al, he is a great evil that took the leadership role of the enemy you are currently not fighting yet."
"If I am not currently fighting yet, then it's not my problem to begin with." Benjamin said. "Why can't you handle it?"
"I am unable to interfere in this universe, it might raise suspicion from the Q continuum." Olma walks closer to the Captain and hands him a blue cylindrical object.
"How are you able to appear in the celestial temple?"
"They're just wormhole aliens."
"What's this?" Sisko looks at the cylindrical object and examines it. It's a data rod that's compatible with the DS9 computer system. "But you are interfering now."
"That data rod has all the information to build a super Stargate. Once they arrive they will assist the Federation to rid this universe of great evil."
"And who are they?"
"In time Captain Sisko."
Benjamin Sisko flashes back to his reality, sitting next to Colonel Kira Nerys with a data crystal in his hand. Kira knew he spoke to the prophets or an ascended being when he had a stoic look on his face.
"You spoke to the prophet's sir?"
"Not exactly."
"What's that?" Kira glances at what Captain Sisko is holding.
"Not exactly sure."
Outside of Deep Space Nine, Klingon warships started decloaking. There was battle damages to the Klingon ship as more of them arrived.
"Talking about timing." Nerys says as she taps a few buttons on the console. "We have this Tau'ri vessel and now the Klingons are on retreat."
"We don't know what's going on with the Klingons since they broke off alliance with the Federation." O'Brien replied. He reading a lot of subspace distortion caused by decloaking Klingon vessels.
"Captain, one of the Klingon vessels is following the small vessel we are encountering, and Chancellor Gowron wants permission to be beamed aboard.
"Permission granted and tell the Klingons to leave that little ship alone. Say it is our experimental vessel."
"Yes sir."
The Puddle Jumper successfully landed into the launch pad under the A.I guidance and powered down its system. Armed Starfleet Security led by Commander Worf surrounds the ship and around the docking bay restricting civilians and non-essential personnel from entering the area.
Captain Benjamin Sisko and Miles O'Brien, along with Jadzia Dax, Kira Nerys and Dr. Julian Bashir are in the wardroom waiting for a report from Commander Worf that he has secured the docking bay.
"Docking bay is secured, sir."
Captain Sisko taps his combadge and responds. "Understood." He walks out of his office when General Martok and Chancellor Gowron materialize.
"We had them dead to rights until those Dominion arrived." Gowron said. "Blood for blood, bat'leth strike supposed to decapitate them. But the Jem'hadar soldiers are different from the ones we fought before."
"The Jem'hadar soldiers are upgraded by Ba'al."
That caught Chancellor Gowron by surprise as he unsheathed his blade from his waist "Who are you?"
"Sif, can you tell me about this data rod?"
Sif looks at the rod and analyzes what's stored inside. "I assume you met with Olma Desala." Her big oval black eyes look at Sisko. "What you are holding is a data rod; specifically for your computer specifications."
"How do you get a hold of it?" Jadzia said as the data rod is handed to her by Captain Sisko.
"Olma is her name. She is not a wormhole alien that emanates one of you guys with riddles."
"Because she is not," Sif stated. "She is an ascended ancient that cannot interfere with human evolution in her universe; but she must not get any of the ascended beings' attention in this universe." Sif continues on and look at the data rod. "That data rod contains blueprints and instructions for upgrading your shields and weapons system, in case the Dominion wants to fight for the station."
"I feel sorry for the dominion, they haven't faced the full might of the Klingons and the Federation." Gowron growled with pride.
"According to the Federation database, you broke off the peace treaty."
She blinked at the captain and projected another holographic display showing a female face with blond hair and brown eyes.
"Hello, my name is Amanda Clark. I am President of the Tau'ri Federation and Commander in Chief of the Tau'ri Federation military. If you are getting this message, help is on the way to fight the Dominion and apprehend their leader Ba'al." The hologram flickers to show a man with trimmed goatee wearing a fancy gold garb. "We thought he was the last clone of the megalomaniac parasite, but he eludes capture when he shows up with a new ally that called themselves Dominion."
"Tauri Federation citizens. Rumors of my death have been exaggerated. The end of an era and your destruction is at my mercy, I have come to reclaim what is mine."
The camera pulls back to a group of Jem'hadar soldiers and a Vorta. One of the Jem'hadar soldiers is seen pushing a bloodied Tau'ri Federation military officer.
"Those are the Jem'hadar soldiers my warriors encounter when they beam into our ships in one of the encounters."
"How did I escape from the clutches of death you may ask? You see, I ascended into a higher plane of existence in the Ori Galaxy thanks to SG1 getting rid of Adria." Ba'al snickers. "The Ark of truth did it's job and that left me searching the universe," he pauses for a moment before continuing. "Surrender and I shall give you mercy." Ba'al snickers and his eyes flashes.
The hologram flickers back to President Clark. "We will be sending a task force to aid you. Once Sif aids you in your task building a super Stargate; we will be able to send our task force."
"I am here to aid you in this war." Sif said as she showed a holographic projection of Ba'al. "I have uploaded necessary information pertaining to him and in your war against the Dominion."
"We are not at war yet." Jadzia implied.
"We are already at war," Gowron growls. "I want to meet this Targ in the field of battle and grab his heart from his chest."
"Don't be complacent with what the Dominion are doing. They are building up on multiple fronts." Sif showed a holographic projection of Dominion ships at the borders of Cardassian Federation space with thousands of ships patrolling, then showed real-time holographic projection of the Dominion fleet massing near the border of the Talarian Republic border and the badlands.
Jadzia stood up and stared at the projection. "Your sensor technology is as advanced as ours, how far of a range can it go?"
"Tau'ri sensor technology is more advanced than yours, but I can still provide you with readings up to 100 light years away. With network of sensor buoys, 100,000 light years beyond this galaxy. I can also track and identify ships moving at sub-light speeds." Sif explained. "The Dominion is massing their forces for an attack on the Talarian Republic. If the Republic falls, they will have a much easier time attack.
"That doesn't matter old man, we are being invaded as we speak. There's no telling how far it will go with this Ba'al character." Sisko said as he glared out at the viewport. "But we need all the help we can get under these circumstances."
"How are they able to send so many ships in such a brief period of time?" O'Brien said as he browsed through new data containing faster than light travel called Hyperspace.
"With this hyperspace engine, they are able bypass the wormhole completely and attack any Federation planets and bases."
"This Ba'al character is probably a maniacal warlord with tendencies of grandeur." Bashir Implied.
"How many people died during the war with the Dominion in your dimension?" O'Brien asked the A.I.
"1.2 trillion humans and humanoids have died during the initial conflict with the dominion."
"The Dominion halted their use of the wormhole several weeks ago." Kira Nerys began to question the validity of a new threat. "Why haven't they attacked already?"
Sif is answering questions but Unbeknownst to the humans and humanoids, she is powering up an alternate reality beacon onboard the Puddle Jumper for a Tau'ri Federation Navy Task Force to jump in. Once it reaches 100 percent, the task force will be transported a few kilometers from the mouth of the wormhole.
"With hyperspace engines installed on Dominion ships, they can reach Cardassia in days; negating their use of the wormhole and attack any Federation worlds."
Miles O'Brien opened the technical specs of a new sensor algorithm to detect ships in hyperspace and hyperspace window generators. He is astounded by the level of technology that the Tauri Federation is willing to share. "Captain, I will start the necessary upgrades to our sensors and weapons system in case the Dominion shows up unannounced."
"Get to it Chief." Sisko said.
"I tried calibrating your sensor array to Federation specifications, but your computer system is redundant. I was able to upload more data on your ship."
O'Brien let out a grin when he heard that the Cardassian computers are redundant. as he straightened his uniform and walked to the wall console and tapped a few commands. "That's one thing that I agree on."
Worf walks in the command center and sees Gowron talking to Captain Sisko and an alien AI. Gowron, m opyzazefthe man that he helped to become Chancellor of the Klingon High Council.
"Sir, the ship is creating a large amount of energy and emitting some sort of radiation via subspace."
"It'll be quite alright; the radiation is not harmful. The amount of energy is needed to anchor the Alternate Reality drive on our ship to this precise location instead of wasting energy on a wild guess."
"What drive?" Jadzia ask, looking at Worf curiously.
In orbit of the Founders Homeworld, 10 Battleships are in geosynchronous orbit guarding a single Ha'tak pyramid ship. Ba'al watches from his throne room as thousands of Jem 'Hadar ships came out of the assembly line, 25 drydock with a construction arm replicated the ship parts needed for the new vessels, and over 100 automated factories kept churning out ships, fighters, and battleships.
A Vorta name Weyoun Jem'hadar soldiers in their new armor enter the throne room. The armor he perfected that can withstand energy bursts from all energy and projectile based weapons. He fixed the problems with the old armor that lacked, the warrior who wore the armor was slow, inflexible and unable to breathe in space. Since his new role in the new universe. It's an upgraded Kull warrior armor.
"Speak." Ba'al said in his Goa'uld voice.
"Master, the Vorta dockmaster is marveling at the rate of speed your new system."
"It's not mine," Ba'al replied. "its the technology I acquired from my universe. I'm merely utilizing it." He gestured at the shipyard.
"Of course, Master." Weyoun bowed his head. "Also, there's bad news."
"Well, dont just stand there." Ba'al turns around walks toward his throne. "What is it?" He asks impatiently.
Weyoun shows a video feed of a thousands Tauri Federation ships battling Dominion forces over a spatial rift and a single puddle Jumper decloaking and firing several drones at the Jem'hadar fighters. The battle was over in less than 5 minutes before all the Tauri Federation ships focused their fire on the spatial rift with their beam weapon after the puddle jumper entered the rift.
"Where is it now?"
"The Federation space station took custody of the ship."
Ba'al gave a disdainful look at the Vorta and slowly raised his hand revealing his ribbon device. "Which Vorta is responsible for this insolence?" He asked in a cold voice.
"Borath clones my Lord." Deyos said as she bows her head.
"Gather all Borath clones and execute on site." Ba'al says as he approaches a clone of Borath and raises his hand with a ribbon device being worn against the Vortas forehead. "Failure is punishable by death." As he looks at the last line of the clones. "Do you agree Borath?"
Borath shivers in fear for his life as the energy from the ribbon device slowly luminates from the red crystal. "Yes, my lord."
"How does it feel to be the last clone?"
Ba'al suddenly stops the energy of the ribbon device from damaging the Vorta clone forehead and turns around, sparing the clone's life.
"Weyoun, I have another task for you." Ba'al approached his throne chair and sat down. "I think it's time to come out of the shadows and reveal their new master."
"It will be an honor."
"Accompany me to meet this Federation Captain I heard about, but first I want to meet this Gul Dukat." Ba'al says as he looks at the dossier of Captain Benjamin Sisko and a Cardassian leader. "Can we trust him?"
"Absolutely not my Lord."
"Then set a course to Cardassia."
"Yes my Lord." Weyoun said before his eyes glowed. He touched the console and put in a few commands and a hyperspace window opened up and the pyramid ship including the 10 battleships flew in. "ETA to Cardassia; 10 hours."
Olma appears in front of Weyoun, who catches him by surprise. He didn't want to interfere with the higher being and his lord; he excused himself and left the room and ordered the Elite Jem'hadar guards guarding Ba'al throne room guard the room.
"Do not let anyone in."
Back in the throne room.
"Olma, didn't expect a visit from the almighty ascended Ancient in this side of the universe." Ba'al said, walking toward the table and grabbing a gold goblet and took a sip of black wine. "The Cardassians make the best alcoholic beverages in this universe; not counting Romulan Ale. Which is illegal in most established civilized worlds I might add."
"I'm not here for a small talk with you?"
"Ouch," Ba'al playfully said as he clenches his heart and giggles. "You hurt me after what we've been through."
"It wasn't me that sent you back to human goa'uld form" Olma said and continues. "The others did, You ascended by yourself without anyone helping you."
"That's right, you defended me
