Sorry for the wait, but school has been tearing me up. Lol. I decided to make some changes to the lineup. And I've worked on some of this chapter on my phone and some on my computer. Enjoy!

Episode 8A: Alaska

Ice Cub and Lilyfay were taking Bastet to Iceworld because they wanted to help her explore Tarabiscoville more.

"Meow. What is this wall?" Bastet asked once the trio reached the Iceworld wall.

"It's the portal to Iceworld," Ice Cub replied.

Lilyfay added, "It's super cosmic there."

"Oooh! Sounds delightful," Bastet mewed eagerly.

Ice Cub used his ice key to open up the portal to Iceworld.

"By the claws of Cleopatra!" Bastet yelped.

"Come on!" Ice Cub urged. Everyone walked into Iceworld, and it looked beautiful as usual.

"Ah, I love Iceworld," Lilyfay said.

"Yeah, isn't it the best, Bastet?" Ice Cub asked.

"Y-Yeah, it i-is," Bastet stammered. Confused, Ice Cub turned her way and noticed she was shivering.

"Bastet? Why are you- oh yeah!" Ice Cub said as it hit him. "You're a Sun Cat. I guess this place isn't for you to explore."

"I g-guess not," Bastet admitted.

"Awww...not cosmic," Lilyfay said sadly.

Suddenly, the trio heard a wolf howl. It was loud and clear.

"W-What was that?" Bastet asked.

"I think it was an arctic wolf," Ice Cub answered. "I've never heard a wolf howl here before."

"Let's go see where it's coming from," Lilyfay suggested.

"O-Okay." Bastet tried to follow Lilyfay and Ice Cub, but Ice Cub stopped her.

"You need to go home and warm up, Bastet. You could get frostbite," he warned.

"I-I'm fine! I really would like to find out where the h-howling came from. If it's the W-Wolfies or a new dog villain, I won't h-hesitate to show them what my S-Sun Disc can do! Meow!" Bastet yowled, getting on all fours and shaking a little.

"Okay..." Ice Cub sighed. The three heroes ran further into Iceworld, and they heard more howling. After searching for some time, the heroes saw a white girl with blue eyes in a gray wolf costume with cyan highlights. She was looking up towards the moon and howling like an actual wolf. She didn't notice that Lilyfay, Bastet, and Ice Cub were standing behind her.

"Uhm...hi?" Ice Cub greeted the wolf girl. The wolf girl turned her head and growled suddenly, a bit startled.

"N-Nice wolf," Lilyfay said, startled by the wolf girl's sudden ferocity. Bastet, on the other hand, wasn't afraid at all.

"I'll protect y-you guys from this d-dog!" Bastet hissed, drawing out her Sun Disc and hissing at the wolf girl.

"Dog?" the wolf girl echoed, snarling afterwards. "I am no dog! I'm Alaska, the Light Wolf. You don't frighten me, kitty cat girl!"

"I'm not just a kitty cat. I'm Bastet, the Sun Cat!" Bastet snapped.

"Guys, lets all just calm down!" Ice Cub yelled.

"Sun Cat, eh? Wolf Spheres!" the wolf girl, named Alaska, called, sending icy magic spheres in Bastet's direction. The Sun Cat tried using her Sun Disc to block the blue balls, but they ended up freezing it.

"By the f-frozen claws of Cleopatra! My S-Sun Disc is frozen!" Bastet yowled.

"Hahaha! The poor Sun Cat is shivering," Alaska sneered. Bastet hissed at her.

"Guys, stop. You two barely know each other!" Lilyfay snapped. "Fighting is pointless."

"But she's a-" Bastet began.

"A dog? Look, Bastet, just because she's a canine kid, it doesn't mean that she's a villain," Ice Cub explained.

"Yes it d-does!" Bastet snapped.

"I'm not a villain; I'm only attacking because I feel threatened," Alaska barked, getting on all fours.

Bastet tried to get on all fours as well, but her feet tingled uncomfortably, and she fell.

"Ugh, my feet feel numb," Bastet sighed in discomfort.

"Bastet, are you alright?" Lilyfay asked in worry.

"This is YOUR fault, wolf kid!" Bastet snarled, eyeing Alaska and not answering Lilyfay's question.

"MY FAULT? If you weren't so aggressive towards a good-natured wolfdog like me, I wouldn't have had to fight you!" Alaska barked.

"She's got a point," Ice Cub said. "This is kinda your fault, Bastet. You didn't want to leave Iceworld, even after we warned you about possibly getting frostbite."

Bastet looked at Ice Cub, and then at Alaska, who narrowed her eyes.

"G-G-Growling pyramids," the Sun Cat mewed, her stammering getting worse. Her hands had ice on them now. "I can't move my a-a-arms!"

"Oh no, she's freezing badly! We need to get her back to the warmth of the city," Lilyfay said.

"Let me help," Alaska offered, walking towards Bastet, but she just hissed and flattened her ears.

"I'm not gonna hurt you!" Alaska assured with a tone of irritation.

"I don't want help from a dog!" Bastet hissed.

"Bastet..." Ice Cub sighed.

"F-F-Fine," Bastet said after a moment.

Okay, this is kinda short, but in the next episode, consider that part 2 to this, but with a different name. See ya'll later!
