Scott to all Frontier Brains

I hope everyone's having a fine day!

I'd like to report that I've found a trainer who's not only willing to do the Battle Frontier but also a great choice to do it, so you'll be seeing him hopefully starting in the next week or so. Noland, I've pointed him at the Battle Factory to start with, but based on what I know about him you're going to want to be ready for a serious challenge.

While it might be fun to keep the secret until Noland sees him walk through the door, I may as well give it away now for other reasons. It's Ash Ketchum, and yes, he is still a Pokémon.

In case anyone's a little behind on the news, Ash Ketchum's official achievements to date consist of:

Indigo Plateau Conference – Top 16

Orange League – Champion (he defeated Drake, the Orange League's a little more like the Battle Frontier than a typical Conference)

Silver Conference – Top 8

Ever Grande Conference – Winner, defeated Sidney

I also want to clarify that. He defeated Sidney but was not defeated by another member of the Elite Four. At this point, based on talking with him, Ash's reason for doing the Battle Frontier is partly so that he and his team can pick up strength and possibly go back to finish his run at the Hoenn Elite Four.

And yes, I say Ash and his team. Ash elected to take to the field himself during his battle against Sidney, and I've heard he's done it during other official battles as well.

I know all of you have a good handle on how to run your Facilities. I won't give you instructions that might restrict what you do. Let's try and give Ash Ketchum a great challenge that stretches him and his team as far as we can push them!

AN:

It would have been funnier for Scott to see their reactions himself, but it's likely they'd have noticed anyway.
