My Little Girl-Ch 34
When the newlyweds had returned back to work from their two day honeymoon they had to jump back into the swing of things with the team being sent to Texas on a serial murder case, a case that would keep them away for almost three weeks before they would make it back home.
While the team was away Fran and the girls had been staying close to Penelope and Jazzy and on several occasions they had stayed over all night and the five Morgan women had themselves movie nights in which time they pigged out on pizza and other tasty snacks while they watched movie after movie.
The team had returned home and spent three nights case free before being pulled in on back to back cases which kept the team gone for almost three weeks before they were back home to see their loved ones once again.
This time while the team was away Penelope kept Henry and Jack with her and Jazzy at Frans and the seven of them, well nine if you count Clooney and Mudgie had a blast with them ending both nights on video calls to their missed family before turning in for the night.
Penelope woke up one morning thankfully Sarah and or Desi had Jasmine already dressed and out of the room, which made it good since the minute her feet hit the floor she was running for the bathroom where she dropped to her knees and emptied the contents of her stomach into her toilet, after a few minutes when she was able too she reached up and got her a cloth and wet it.
She then wiped her face and said, "what's going on with you Garcie?", she had now been married to Derek for almost 4 months, man how the time had flown since they'd said their I do's, it was hard to believe that it was already October, which meant Halloween was coming up.
Derek and the team was out of town but do to return today so Penelope had spent the night with Fran so that they could keep each other company while their husbands were away working.
Fran had heard her daughter in law earlier and had an idea on what was wrong with her so she quietly grabbed her purse, keys and cell and made her way out of the house only to return a few minutes later with a few pregnancy tests.
She'd made her way upstairs to join her daughter-in-law who was still in the bathroom, every time she thought it was safe to try to leave the bathroom she had to throw up again and by the time Fran had walked into the room Penelope was exhausted.
Fran said, "how are you feeling honey?", Penelope said, "not too good this morning I'm afraid", Fran sat down on the floor beside Penelope and said, "I'm not trying to be nosey or anything buttttttt when did you have your last period?", Penelope looked at her and said, "this is the end of October, right?", Fran nodded her head yes.
Penelope said, "well let me seeeeee" as she sat there thinking, she then looked at Fran and said, "the end of July, why?", Fran said, "here, I got you a few things" as she handed her the bag that held the pregnancy tests, she then looked at Penelope and said, "I think that you my exhausted daughter-in-law are pregnant".
She smiled and said, "really, do you really think so?", Fran said, "well honey I've been a nurse for years and years and with the symptoms that you've been having over the past few weeks, I'd say yes".
Penelope said,"symptoms, what symptoms?", Fran said, "well you can't stand the smell of coffee anymore, you don't drink anything other than tea and sometimes juice and water and you've been eating brussel sprouts", Penelope said, "that can't be, I hate brussel sprouts".
Fran said, "exactly, now here, let's get you up so that you can take these tests, okay?", Penelope nodded her head yes as she allowed Fran to help her up off of the floor so that she could see if she was indeed pregnant with the next generation of Morgans or not.
