Chapter 4: Rescue the Real Beauty Queen
The next day, Jin was meditating at the amenities of SMDC Mezza II Residences, where he battles Hwoarang on a Tekken Ball game as he says within his mind.
I want to try something new after I watched a lot of sports on my tablet.
Jin tries to do a combo which followed by a Leaping Side Kick as Hwoarang is able to counter to make a hit into the face as it flashes in white. Jin immediately opens his eyes and gives a face palm to himself and he thought.
Unlike how I fought Kazuya in an actual fight. But something like this ball game, I might ended up losing.
He remembers that he has to look after Rhima when she goes to the mall near in her condominium where most participants are about to arrive as he thought.
I know my friends would rely upon me to protect them and I must protect Rhima-san...
At UERM Hospital, Benzon gives Rhima the tickets including the boarding pass for everyone in their first trip to Singapore.
"Thank you, Benzon... Despite we're rivals in intelligence, you're still a thoughtful person."
"No problem... Our superior had bought those tickets for us including your friends. At least, it's not a scam." Benzon said nicely and Rhima wants to know why he was here at the hospital.
"When did you decided to meet me at the hospital, Benzon?"
"One of my colleagues from the CIDG got shot during their encounter with our most wanted targets like the criminal groups such as gun for hires and it needs operation to remove the bullet." Benzon answered and Rhima knows their mission.
"I'm sure you will accompany, Mr. Navarro and his friends to save the real Corey. Cause I already make diversions over our enemies."
"I wish if our mission will be success."
At one of the port within the Navotas Fisheries Port, Kai orders his men to guard the real Corey while he and the others is to kill her imposter and they move away. Corey looked on to see them leave while she was bound.
Back at her condo unit, Rhima looked at the ticket and boarding pass for Jin and the others to take a trip to Singapore and it reveals that their trip was after tomorrow and Rhima's trip to Singapore was tomorrow morning as she thought.
How can I say this to Jin about this? He told me that he went to the amenities to take a silent meditation. My trip to Singapore was tomorrow and now all the participants will be arrived at SM City Sta Mesa and the lunch venue is always on the buffet.
During lunch buffet, a disguised Rhima was getting some food as one of the competitors had seen her appearance who happens to be Miss Philippines and she speaks in their native language.
"Pinoy ka?" (Are you Filipino?)
"Excuse me... Are you speaking to me?" Rhima asked while trying her best to disguise herself as Corey which she response.
"Of course, I speak to you... Why did you decided to participate in this contest?"
"I have nothing else to say to you. Just go away and leave me alone..." Rhima said rudely to the contestant as one of the hosts of the beauty pageant, Ms. Hilda Grimace to confront them.
"Excuse me, what's wrong?"
"Nothing, Ms. Hilda..." One of the contestants said while pretending she was smiling, Rhima was angrily mad at her actions as she thought in her native language.
Pakitang tao pala ang babaeng to, talaga gusto niya ako bukuhin ang pagpapangap ko... (That girl is a show off and she wants to expose my disguise...)
"Excuse me, Ms. Singapore... Is there a problem?"
"No, Ms. Hilda... I had nothing against her. She was trying to show off that your gown is much better than her." Rhima answered while grinning over the participant.
"Ahh... the gowns you mean..." Hilda stated as she looked on her glamorous gown and one of the contestants react over her words.
"Gowns? Have you ever gone mad?"
"Sorry, Ms. Hilda... but this person beside me makes me feel angry, Excuse me..." Rhima said coldly to one of the competitiors and soon leave the premises.
"You're trying to make a huge stress to Miss Singapore, Miss Philippines."
"But... she..."
At the department store, Jin gazes all of the diamond gold rings since it was connected to the parking lot as he thought.
It reminds me of how I bought her the gold locket once that she and I were already in love with each other. Maybe someday that I want to marry her once our love with each other had grown so much. We already reconciled our relationship after she revealed that she had never given her heart to someone else and her heart is for me.
"Excuse me, are you gonna buy some rings?"
"Uhh, no... I was just looking at those diamond rings and it's all in different designs." Jin answered calmly, refusing to buy the rings and the store clerk tells him.
"With the look of your face, you wanted to buy some."
"I just say no and I had no interest to buy those. I was only window shopping, that's all." Jin said while closing his eyes.
"Oh, sorry..."
"I must be going..." Jin leaves to the department store to find the disguise Rhima.
At sunset, most cars are gathered at one of the port within Navotas Fisheries Port. Brian gets off his car which is his 2015 Toyota Rav4 and Hwoarang gets off as well.
"This is where the real girl that Rhima had currently disguising with?"
"Yes... and it was one of those ports." Brian said confirming the location and he explains to him. "This place is almost going to the north side which is the part of Valenzuela City. Both Angat and Pampanga Rivers are also connected to the Manila Bay."
"We have to let the authorities to infiltrate first then we're next." Rei said informing them as Lars replied.
"This is just like the battlefield we teamed up with Victor. We better get ready."
"Looks like I will help to take those people down." Yoshimitsu said wanted to assist them anytime as they can.
The authorities from the CIDG including Benzon and his task force group, Task Force Tamaraw to infiltrate the port and encountering the mafiosos who were guarding the area. Reagan gives Brian the signal, which they followed. Alisa flies with her jetpacked wings and shoots one of them with her Rocket Punches. Both Brian and Andrew stormed inside one of the warehouses and they brought scores on the mafiosos. Andrew demonstrates all of his Wushu and Tai-Chi-Chuan techniques and Brian sees him fight. With the song "Dynamite" has been played, they were backed up by both Hwoarang and Rei to take down more mafiosos while Lars and Rick teaming up to fight. He allows Andrew to find Corey and he fought one of the mafiosos and successfully uses his Rage Art which was enough to kill it by breaking his spine. Andrew found Corey who is bound and tries to untie the rope and both romantically hugged each other.
"Andrew... Thank goodness you're here."
"It's okay, Corey... the authorities have arrived." Andrew smiled happily to his girlfriend and Brian sees them both.
The remaining mafiosos were apprehended and deported back to China for their crimes and they are watched by Brian and the group.
"At least these bastards are about to be deported here in the Philippines. But their right-hand man was missing."
"That means it's not over yet..." Alisa wondered and Corey tells Brian about Kai's plan.
"I heard what that guy told me, he's going to kill my imposter and he brings out his men with him to find her."
"Your imposter was more intellectual than you. Rhima is trying her best to pose as you so that you will be safe." Brian said telling her and Rei also tells her.
"You can count on her... If you see her personally, she is very nice."
"Old man... if they are saying that their right-hand man went to find Rhima. That means she was still on the mall where she lives in the condominium." Hwoarang said finally figures it out where their adversaries just went much to Brian's horrible surprise.
"Are you saying that Rhima was in the mall near in her condominium?" Rei reacted shockingly and Brian angrily punches with his car.
"Damn it... I should have known."
"Mr. Navarro... didn't you remember that your Japanese friend just decided to remain there to protect his girlfriend. Just like I save Corey with your group's help." Andrew said giving him some thought and Brian remembers their discussion yesterday.
"You were right... Jin decided to remain in the Metro to protect Rhima in case if these bastards are going to kill her. And now they're going to that place."
"Old man... we have to get there quickly and fast." Hwoarang said trying to convince him and Brian became dismayed by their situation.
"It's too late, Hwoarang... SM City Sta Mesa was very far from this place and it's going to be a tiring journey."
With this, Hwoarang tries to contact Jin with his cellphone which it rings. Meanwhile at the SM City Sta Mesa, Jin continues doing window shopping after seeing a lot of new arrivals of clothes and footwear in different brands and he receives a call from his rival.
"Hello..."
"Jin, it's Hwoarang... you have to protect Rhima right now. Those bastards including the right-hand man are coming this way." Hwoarang informs him about their adversary which he raises his brow.
"What!?"
"We can't go to that mall place near in Rhima's condominium, it was very far and we rescued the real Corey that Rhima has currently disguising with in this port. You have to find Rhima and fast." Hwoarang said loudly and Jin became serious about this and decided to find her.
"All right... Got it."
Jin hung up his phone and realizing that they saved the real Corey and now their enemies are about to arrive as he thought.
They saved Andrew's real girlfriend who looked like Rhima-san. And now those bastards are coming to kill her. I must find Rhima-san and fast and it's not safe in here...
At the parking lot, Kai's group had arrived just in time to hunt down Rhima and they are prepared to infiltrate the area. Meanwhile, Rhima decided to slip away from the contestants to join up to see the children from a different foundation and for accompany one of them for a day after one of the contestants had almost exposed her disguise as she thought.
I don't want to participate to any talent portion to show the audience.
She then bumps into someone which she fell into the ground and angrily reacted.
"Just watch we're you going, all right?"
"Rhima-san..." Jin said calling her name and Rhima noticed his appearance she bumped with as he stands her up by grabbing her hand. "We have to get out of here. Those bastards including their right-hand man are coming this way."
"That's what I wanted to hear from you, Jin. And I want to get out of here too." Rhima said telling him and both hears a voice from the microphone.
"Good evening, madlang people. I know today you'll have a fun and exciting day. Since she was here in the Philippines, I'm proud to present that this young lady was very known for dancing various K-Pop songs in our generation. Ms. Singapore..."
Both were shocked to hear that Rhima was needed there and Jin tells her in a very concern manner.
"Rhima-san, I'll accompany you back. Seems like our escape will be delayed."
Rhima nods as both walk away knowing that she'll participate the talent portion.
Trivia:
*Jin recreates his character ending in a parody version. This time it was his fight with Hwoarang in a Tekken Ball game.
*Some scenes in the movie, Beauty and the Bestie are changed.
**The scene where Erika body shames Ms. Barney using gay language was changed where Rhima was nearly exposed her disguise by one of the contestants and tries to criticize the latter that Ms. Hilda's gown was better than her.
**The scene where Natalia is able to escape from her captors was changed, where the real Corey was rescued by Brian and the group and being reunited with her boyfriend Andrew.
**The scene where Erika ice skates using his barefeet in a form of friction was changed to where Rhima was instead performing K-Pop dance moves.
