Chapter 10: Ready for the Coronation

The next morning, Jin finally wakes up and looks at Rhima who is still asleep as he thought.

It was a magnificent night yesterday and at least Rhima-san was healed completely and the paralysis on her was removed. After the rest of the entire night, I let her cry to take out her frustrations until she sleeps into my chest. I'm glad that she's okay.

Rhima soon wakes up and to see him awake and smiles to see him.

"Morning, Jin... you're finally up."

"Good morning too, Rhima-san... " Jin greets her nicely and both saw a white bird that belongs to Jun as it flies away and he tells her. "That bird is from my mother's."

"Seems like she was watching us to make sure we're safe." Rhima said knowing of Jun's way of guarding them both and Jin calmly tells her.

"We should clean ourselves up, Rhima-san. At least Rei gave us a free breakfast in this hotel. Mother and I we'll take care of you for a while."

At the breakfast buffet, Hwoarang was disappointed after Brian wakes him up for breakfast.

"Ugh... the old man just wake me up for this..."

"At least... we can eat anytime before it reaches 10 in the morning." Lars commented nicely as he goes to Alisa and Brian arrives to get some food.

"Uhm, old man... do you know where Kazama is?" Hwoarang asked and Brian had pointed them at the balcony.

"They were at the balcony... just let them be... Rhima had a lot of distress yesterday so they decided to look after her."

"The food was great... and I'm glad that you learned to conserve money, Jin." Jun said excitedly to her son and he replies.

"When I was emotionally detached, Rhima-san was the one who taught me everything when I live in her world and its different in our world."

"This place is a higher cost of living."

"Rhima-san... I'm glad that you recovered from paralysis. Looks like you and Jin had used your combined powers to heal yourselves completely." Jun said knowing how powerful it was when their powers were combined.

"This also to recover my wounds from my back, mother. And that is the reason Rhima's paralysis was removed when our powers combined when we get kissed."

Jun was surprised to see that both were together and she smiles at them.

"My goodness... you two are inseparable."

"By the way, mother... where is Lee? He hasn't showed up after what happened yesterday." Jin tries to ask his mother Jun which she remembers that he decided to go out for a walk.

At the mafia base, Mark and his group finally discusses about the blueprint of the coronation day venue which will be held at the Marina Bay Sands.

"This is the blueprint of the coronation day venue. I'm very sure that Corey will go there. I will show you how you will execute the plan."

Unaware of the group that a drone was observing what are their plans and it was actually controlled by Hachi which is Lee's small robot from the World of Tekken. After receiving all of their true plans it leaves and to inform its master immediately.

"Master, looks like they are planning to capture Corey Yeun by trying to take over the entire venue of the beauty pageant's coronation night."

"So this is their real plan. Trying to take over the entire venue in their control." Lee said as he raises his brow and soon asks Hachi within a modified cellphone that forms into a hologram. "Hey Hachi, where are those bastards are going now?"

"In two days, they're going to the venue which is the Marina Bay Sands within this country of Singapore."

"All right... thanks Hachi." Lee said thankfully to his robot as he turns off the hologram and immediately goes to inform everyone.

Outside of Plaza Singapura, they formulated a plan in how to stop them from taking control of the venue as Lee shows the hologram which Hachi is able to scan the entire blueprint.

"Is that a blueprint?" Hwoarang wondered as Brian sees their true plan.

"Looks like this is according to their plan. What's their plan, Lee?"

"We have to take in five groups and that includes Rhima's rival and his groupies of course." Lee said telling him. Benzon and the group are present to hear as Lars discuss in how to stop from taking control and he chooses Hwoarang, Rick and Rei to subdue .

"This is the control room and I'm sure they are here to take control by bribing the manager who handles it. Hwoarang, you go with Rick and Rei to subdue them."

"Guess that I'm with these two lookers." Hwoarang smirked and Lars continues to discuss while handpicking anyone to stop them.

"Since they tried to hide their guns like mine near the stage. I picked the Task Force Tamaraws to disperse those guns long enough so that no one knows it will be gone for good."

"Hey Brian... looking to stop the mayhem." Rolento arrives alongside King II who is now wearing his predecessors casual outfit and Brian was relieved to see him in Singapore.

"Rolento, you came... and King II is wearing the outfit worn by King I."

"We'd like to help Rhima after learning she had participated on that beauty contest." King II said while roaring like a jaguar and Rolento wants to join in by calling different nicknames.

"Hey mockingjay, I'm sure you and duckbutted head are gonna team up to take down some mobsters."

"Well Mr. the grappler, what you said about Lars and Jin, I'm sure they wouldn't like that." Lee shrugged calmly and Rolento was terrified to see a furious and angered Jin with his spiky hair moved like a duckbutt, he eventually pummeled him down.

"Don't try to call me that, you little shit!"

Lars was surprised to see how mad Jin is when he called his spiky hair being a duckbutt and wondered about what his comment is.

"His comment on my hair looks strange to me."

"So what's our role, Mr. Lars... I remember we just join with the rest of the fighters along with the Yggdrasil soldiers including both Raven and Victor." King II said and Lars picks them including Brian.

"I'd say that you including Brian and Rolento in order to take them down the disguise security guards and I'm sure they are about to cover up all the entrance and exits."

"Rolento... I need your help with King II and I think he wants to see the beauty pageant." Brian said as Rolento had badly bruised due to Jin's beatings and King II decided to watch as a spectator.

"I was hoping to see this pageant if Miss Mexico was here."

"Since Rhima is disguising as Corey Yeun, Jin, I guess you go with your mother along with Alisa, Reggie, and Benzon to look after her." Lars picks Jin to guard Rhima alongside Alisa, Reggie, Benzon and his mother Jun and tells them. "Lee and I we're going to strategize to deal those bastards once that coronation night was under way."

"All right... at least my mother was here to help us." Jin said agreeing to protect Rhima.

They later take an MRT train leads to Marina Bay, Rhima tries to take research about the traditional dresses worn by Singaporeans and both Alisa and Jun see her.

"Looks like the first one will be the traditional costumes."

"But... they're a lot of costumes within Singapore and how come their traditional costume is like from the Philippines." Alisa said questioning about the costumes and Rhima tells her.

"Their traditional costume in Singapore is like Malay people."

"But how did you know about these segments in beauty pageants?" Alisa said curiously as Jun tells her.

"It always happened in every beauty pageants like in Miss Universe or in Miss World. The first one is traditional costume, the second will be the swimsuits and lastly is the evening gown and the hosts are gonna handpick these contestants will be going on top. Let's just say that we can give Rhima-san a beautiful make over."

"I will show you the appearance of Miss Corey Yeun, Mrs. Kazama... I'm sure you will know it." Alisa smiled and she showed the image of Corey and Jun tries to study about her face and she has an idea.

Arriving at the Marina Bay Sands, they were amused over the three tower buildings. Both Lee and Rei had booked on Jin's group on that hotel so that Rhima will be prepared for her disguise with both hair and make-up. That night, the mafia group arrive to take control over the entire venue. They tried to bribe the manager behind the control room by gunpoint. Without warning, Hwoarang immediately subdue both of them with his kicks and both Rei and Rick gunpoints on two mafiosos and was taken away. As two other mafiosos hide their guns near the stage, three of Benzon's group immediately gets the guns and disposed away. Lee and Lars also subdue most of the mafiosos who were about to block both entrance and exits while Brian, Rolento and King II had defeated the other mafiosos who were about to disguise themselves as security guards.

"Well we finally subdue most of them and nobody takes control the entire venue." Lars said while he spoke to Lee which he tells him.

"It's not over yet, Lars. We need to pose ourselves as spectators while the group we set up earlier needs to disguise themselves to take control. The mafia leader, Mark Shang along with his two flunkies will be present to watch the entire pageant."

"You maybe right..."

At the assigned room, Jun gives Rhima her energy ki to protect herself and Reggie was amused to see the golden light.

"Rhima-san... this power I gave you is to protect yourself. It's much like how I give my son a flower that turns into an energy ki, leading him to turn into an angel. Don't let yourself be killed, my son needs you."

"Yeah..." Rhima said nicely and Alisa faces them both.

"Mrs. Kazama and I we'll help you on both hair and make-up and we need to do this for the real Corey."

Two days later, most of the audience including Mark are about to watch the coronation night as two security guards are checking the belongings. The two security guards are none other than both Brian and Rolento in a disguise. Both Han and Jacky with their daughter are also here to watch the pageant live and Han sees them both. Meanwhile, Jun gives Rhima a natural make-up while wearing a Singaporean traditional costume and Alisa prepares her wig. Jin looked to see her in a natural make-up and he appreciates it.

"She's beautiful, mother..."

"Rhima-san will be fine... all of my cosmetics are natural and organic. I'm sure a lot of contestants would always use non-organic make-up." Jun said calmly and she sees her son carrying a light gray formal suit jacket to cover his black shirt with a picture of his father Kazuya in his youth. "Seems like you're going out, Jin."

"Yeah... guarding Rhima-san was the right thing to do." Jin said to his mother while he put on the formal suit jacket on and cheers Rhima good luck . "Good luck on your performance, Rhima-san."

"Yes..." Rhima finally put her wig to complete her disguise as Corey Yeun and she look at the mirror to check herself before going with the contestants.

"Finally, the moment has come for these thirty beautiful ladies. This is the Miss Global 2016."

Most of the contestants arrive with the song "You're my Heart You're My Soul (1998 version) are in their respective traditional costumes. Jin along with Benzon's group are seen in their semi-casual wear to observe and see if the enemy is present. Most of the audience and the foreign judges are present to see them dancing and soon the contestants finally introduced themselves.

"Hi I'm Miss Thailand..."

"Hye-bin is from South Korea!"

"Pia Versoza, Philippines!"

As most of the contestants had done introducing themselves, a disguised Rhima wears a traditional costume worn by Singaporeans and finally introduced herself as the last contestant.

"I'm Corey Yeun... from Singapore. Hello everyone!"

As Jun mentions about the contest, the foreign judges are also grading their costumes they had worn as the hosts speaks up.

"We're here live at the Sands Grand Ballroom in Marina Bay Sands at Marina Bay, Singapore."

"Wow! What a huge crowd we have here, Lydia."

"Yeah... Spencer."

With that Jin receives a call from Lee and he decided to go there immediately and Benzon was confused to see him off as he thought.

Hmmm... I wonder where he's going?

"What's up, Lee?"

"Everyone except both Jun and Alisa are gathered here to find the remaining mafiosos." Lee said confirming that the remaining mafiosos are still present.

"What!?"

"All of us are now wearing battle gears to take them down. I guess you're the one who hasn't." Lee commented in a smug which makes Jin getting disappointed and reluctantly decided to go with them.

"Okay okay... I'll go there... But I need to get changed first."

As Jin hung up his cellphone and knowing that it was filled with air conditioners as he thought.

It was filled with air conditioners in here... Oh well, I already getting washed up in a deep storm where Kazuya and I had fought in our final bout. I guess I'll get changed.

With that he goes back to his assigned room to get changed.

Trivia:

*Jun wears a casual outfit worn by her anime counterpart in Tekken: Bloodline only the colors of her outfit became lighter.

*Unlike in the 2015 film, Beauty and the Bestie where Daemon Yu sets out the plan to capture Natalia which it was succeeded, Lee is able to thwart Mark's plan by using his small robot Hachi that controls the drone camera and to make strategy to subdue them.

*Jin wears two black Uniqlo Manga UTs as its Tekken Manga UT was included in the game within Tekken Shop. Jin initially wears a black Dragon Ball Z Manga UT as a tribute to the legendary manga artist and late Dragon Ball creator, Akira Toriyama. Later he wears the same black Tekken Manga UT that he had worn in the game before it was covered with his light gray formal suit jacket.

*Rolento and King II made their appearance since the first part as King II now wears King I's Player 2 outfit in Tekken which became his Legacy outfit and Costume 1 in Tekken 8.

*Jun uses natural make-up cosmetics which is why she appears naturally beautiful. She also used this to make-up Rhima's face for her disguise before the competition had started.
