"Class One A, come on one A, one A" Midoriya murmured to himself as he jogged down the hallway of UA. He was fully dressed in his school attire, jogging to class after delivering his hero costume to the costume department.

He smiled as he looked at the distinctive '1-A' sign, looking at the giant sliding door with the intimidating red '1' filling the entire door. He thought back to his junior high, all the people that bullied and judged him, they were all gone. A new year, a new school! The people behind this door have the same desires and drives as he does. He gave a small sigh, smiling as he puffed out his chest and lifting his backpack back onto his back partly as he grabs the handle, sliding the massive door open with surprising ease.

"Take your feet off of that desk right now! It's the first day and your already disrespecting this academy by scuffing its equipment you cretin!" Boomed a voice the second the door opens, Midoriya looking ahead as he saw the same glasses wearing student that insulted him at the entrance exam, immediately seeing him as he tensed his entire body after seeing who he was talking to.

Bakugo was sticking his feet on the stool, grinning up at the student before laughing. "Your joking right? Where you'd come from to get a stick jammed so far up your ass?" he asked before laughing again.

The glasses wearing student looked confused before giving it a sigh, fixing his posture before noticing the door opening, his eyes going wide as he saw who was in the doorway. "It's you!" he shouted, pointing at him with all of his fingers out in his traditional chopping motion.

The entire class turned their heads in unison, some gathering around each other's desks as they started making quick chat, most around a particular desk at the front.

Midoriya immediately looked confused, quickly looking around the class before being bombarded by the class of colorful characters. Two people immediately bounded forward, A girl of pure pink and the other was a man that just resonated self-confidence…and bright red hair.

The pink girl jumped forward in front of him, a wide grin on her face. "Hi! I'm Mina Ashido! So is it true? That you're the one that destroyed that massive robot in the entrance exam?" She asked, looking at him over as her vortex black eyes looked him over. The other student, a confident looking Guy looking down on him with a small grin, his teeth showing razer sharp fangs. His hair was bright red, easily adding four or five inches in his height. "Yeah is it true? Names Eijiro Kirishima, nice to meet ya" he said, moving his hand for a handshake"

"I-I I don't-" Midoriya stuttered, unable to think clearly as he was quickly bombarded. Before he could shake a hand or answer a question Kirishima was promptly moved to the side, Lida taking his place.

"Good morning, my name is Tenya Lida, It's nice to make your acquaintance" he explained, a serious face covering his features.

Midoriya put his hands up defencivly, stopping Lida from moving any further before smiling up at the taller student. "N-nice to meet you, I'm Izuku Midoriya" he said, smiling with a sigh escaping his lips.

"Midoriya, you realised there was more to the test didn't you? Clearly you are a more impressive and intellectual student then I" he said, shaking his head.

Midoriya looked at him confused, then at the rest of them, how did they all know so much, yeah they were at the test themselves but how could they all know it was him specifically that destroyed the robot and saved Jiro?

Almost on cue, a set of headphone jacks squeeze between Mina and Lida, pushing them apart and making space for Jiro to pop between them, a happy smile on her face as she looked up at him. "Hey mophead" she said, giggling softly as she cocked her hip, placing her hand on her hip.

"J-Jiro!" Midoriya said, his own mouth turning to a wide grin as he see's his new friend, resisting the urge to hug her. He's never had that desire before, to hug someone and hold them, he made sure to remember that. He looked down at her, smiling. 'she looks good in that uniform' he thought.

"Heya, sorry about all this, me and the others got talking and we started talking about the test, then you came up and…yeah" she said, lightly rubbing her arm with a tiny blush, recalling the dramatic events of the test.

"well that makes a lot more sense now, did you tell them about how you saved me?" he asked, attempting to get her back in a way.

"You did? How?! You said he was like twenty stories in the sky!" Ashido asked, turning to face a now blushing Jiro. Jiro moved to grab her jacks, almost protectively

"I-it was nothing!" she said, turning to her side.

Midoriya laughed, looking around at the other people talking in the class before making direct eye contact with 'him'. Bakugo looked at Midoriya, daggers in his eyes as they pierced through Midoriya, a breath catching in his throat as he rolled his shoulder, his breath becoming slightly shaky as his heart rate began to increase. 'I'm going to ruin you that little shit' Bakugo thought.

Jiro immediately looked at him, sensing the change in heart rate as she followed his gaze, looking at Bakugo. She moved closer, placing a hand on his chest. "Midoriya you good?" she asked, nudging him slightly.

He came back to the world, looking down at Jiro before giving a fake smile. "Y-yeah I'm fine, just a bit c-crowded ya know?" he said.

She wasn't convinced but was interrupted as she looked past Midoriya, looking down at what appeared to be a yellow caterpillar with a face. Everyone else in the doorway turned around, looking down at the 'thing' that stared back.

"If you are only going to be chatting then leave, this is a hero course not a vacation" the caterpillar spoke, taking juice box from inside itself and drinking it.

Everyone was thoroughly disturbed by the display, watching it stand up and unzip itself, revealing a very tired looking man, scruffy facial hair covering his features as well as an incredibly complicated looking scarf. "This is a hero course, and time is precious, you will do well to remember that" he continued

The class looked at him in shock and confusion, unaware of who he is as he hunched over and put his hands in his pockets, entering the room. The class looked at him as he walked to the front of the class, dreading what pro hero life could mean if a man looks this worn out and tired.

"Hello, my name is Shota Aizawa, I'm your teacher" he explains, the class looking confused and shocked as they all look at him. "lets get to work, put these on and get outside" he says, opening up his now realised sleeping bag revealing a selection of gym suits of different sizes.

Everyone quickly grabbed an appropriately sized garment all heading to the changing rooms at the facility, Jiro and Midoriya hanging at the back of the crowd to talk and catch up, happy to see each other, especially since they couldn't see each other much in the weeks leading up to joining UA.

After entering the appropriate changing rooms, the students began getting changed into the jumpsuits. While the guys were getting changed, Midoriya made sure to get changed privately, hiding inside one of the toilet cubicles as he changed. As they walked out of the changing rooms, Midoriya was approached by Kirishima, his hand behind his head.

"Hey Midoriya where you vanish to in there?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

"O-oh I was just getting changed privately, I'm a l-little shy" Midoriya, rolling the same shoulder that continues to twitch.

"Well fair enough, you're going to have to change that soon though, if you want to be a man that is" he said with a toothy grin, moving ahead to the rest of everyone.

"A-a man?" Midoriya asked, confused by what he meant before being poked by one of Jiro's jacks to his side.

"Nice to see you talking to people" she said with a smile, the jumpsuit fighting her nicely Midoriya noted before smiling back at her.

"Y-yeah, well he isn't giving me much choice, but he seems nice so far, they all do" he said, smiling at the prospect of not being bullied at all this ye-

"Move it DEKU" Bakugo said, rage in his voice as he pushed past Midoriya, deliberately slamming his shoulder into his back before moving on the training field.

"S-Sorry K-kacchan!" Midoriya said, sinking back into himself as he rubbed his upper arm with his other, taking a step closer to Jiro.

"Midoriya do you know that guy?" asked Jiro as she watched Bakugo walk past them, wearing the jumpsuit like a slob as she scoffs, looking over a Midoriya.

"Y-yeah he went to my old s-school" he said, almost like hitting a reset button as he returns to his shy, stuttering stature.

Jiro and Midoriya soon made it to the field, arriving just before Mr Aizawa penalised them. He gave a sigh. "Right this morning we are doing a quirk analysis test." He said, staying in his characteristic hunched position.

"Quirk analysis?" almost all the students asked in unison, clearly confused. "But sir we are going to miss Orientation!" One girl said, a short cute brunette. "This school is full of fake ceremonies and over praising students, if you want to make it to the big leagues you need to take this course seriously, and spend every moment you can training" Mr Aizawa rebutted, a few of the students giving unsure looks, others understanding completely.

"I get to run this class how I see fit, and in my class, the strong survive. Its time to think rationally and honestly, people in this world aren't born equal, and one day the world will learn that, and that all starts with quirks" he continued. "Bakugo, you scored the highest in the entrance exam, what was your furthest throw with the softball in Junior high?"

"I don't know, sixty seven metres I think" Bakugo said, not particularly looking interested.

"Try again with you quirk, and hurry up your wasting time" Aizawa said.

Bakugo grinned, walking into the circle before looking at the ball in his hand, tensing his hand around it before throwing it, hard. His palm began to crackle and fizz before a small spark, and then, boom! An explosion similar to an artillery piece going off as multiple explosion erupted on top of each other, firing the ball just over seven hundred metres.

Midoriya tensed at the explosion, taking a shaky breath as he shook his head.

The students began to cheer and talk about how fun this could become, the opportunity to use all of their quirks finally becoming true.

"Idiots" Mr Aizawa said with a low chuckle, looking over his students. "Today you will all be going through eight tests, and the student at the bottom of the scoreboard will be proven to have not met the required qualifications for my class, and shall therefor be expelled"

This made the whole class fall silent, a massive sweat drop hitting the entire class as they murmured between themselves, Jiro and Midoriya looking at each other, both worried as they give a nod to each other before facing Mr Aizawa again. Midoriya looked at his hand, knowing his only options were at zero percent or one hundred, he took a nervous gulp.

"Understand I'm in charge here and I'm unfair, just like life, you will bleed, beg and cry, but if you stick with me I'll make you all the next best hero's. Prove to me that you deserve to be here, prove to me that you know what it means to go plus ultra." Mr Aizawa said.

"Now shut up and lets get started" He said, grinning at his new victims, or was it students? He couldn't separate them apart yet.

The tests went by quickly, Midoriya scoring average scores through the entire day, unfortunately for him, average wasn't good enough when quirks were available. With every test he went further and further down the leader board, unable to stop the downpour of points before coming to the final test: the ball throw.

This was his time to shine, to prove that he had what it took. He clenched the ball in his hand, charging All For One before throwing the ball! And having it land a couple metres in front of him. The entire class was confused, especially Midoriya as he looked at his arm.

"That quirk of yours is useless unless you can control it" The voice of Mr Aizawa wear heard, looking towards him as his eyes glowed a bright red, his scarf floating around him in an intimidating display. "Someone like you shouldn't be in this school, the Judges at the entrance exam weren't rational" he said, approaching Midoriya.

"A liability in battle isn't a hero, only a nuisance for his allies, what good is a Hero that becomes useless after a single punch" he said, turning off his quirk before walking away. "Finish your throw and then go home" Mr Aizawa said, a tired sigh escaping his breath as he went into his pocket, grabbing a bottle of eye drops and dropping them into his eyes.

"Do you suppose our teacher gave him some advice?" Lida asked, the question asked to Jiro.

"I'm not sure" She responded. Come on Midoriya, you got this' she thought to herself, biting her tongue as her earphone jacks pressed together, a coping mechanism by the looks of it.

Midoriya charged forward, launching the ball by firing it off of his finger, breaking it fully, but still launching the ball high into the sky, soaring it over seven hundred meters as he looked up, grinning at Mr Aizawa, a small cheer coming from Jiro as the rest of the students looking shocked. Jiro quickly went quiet when she realised what she did.

Mr Aizawa looked at his phone, seeing the score come up with Midoriya still standing, hiding his grin. "Not bad kid" he said with a low chuckle.

"DEKU TELL ME HOW YOU DID IT YOU BASTARD, OR YOUR DEAD!" Bakugo shouted, launching himself forward with his explosions. Midoriya didn't know what to do, fear fully consuming him as his eyes shrunk to pins, his breath stuck in his throat.

Bakugo was quickly wrapped up, pinned to the ground. "W-what the hell!?" he asked, looking back to see Mr Aizawa's scarf covering his body.

"Stand down Bakugo, before you give me dry eye, I promise you don't want that" Mr Aizawa said with a low, but intimidating tone. Jiro quickly moved forward, sensing the erratic heartbeat of Midoriya as she moved to his side. "Come on lets go back to the others" she said, holding onto his arm as she guided him back.

'So that's what causes it, or better yet who' She thought, staring daggers at Bakugo as she returned Midoriya to the crowd, the crowd smiling and cheering him on. Midoriya soon calmed down, thanking everyone before wincing, now realising the pain his finger was actually in.

Bakugo's eyes twitched as he stared at Midoriya, small explosions firing off in his palms.

The time had come, the final results of the tests. The entire class waited with baited breath, Mr Aizawa clicking his phone as a digital scoreboard appeared behind him, the results on full display. Jiro immediately started looking for her name, her eyes darting down the list. 'crap not top ten' she thought, sweat gathering at her forehead before seeing her name, a deep sigh escaping her mouth as she see's her name at number seventeen.

She realises in her look for her name, she didn't see Midoriya's at all, looking lower to see him at the bottom spot. Her heart sank, knowing what that meant as she quickly turned her head to see Midoriya. His face said it all, a look of pure defeat and depression. Jiro took a step forward to attempt to comfort him before Mr Aizawa spoke.

"And I was lying before nobody is going home, just a ploy to get you all to work as hard as you can" he said with a grin, the class shocked, and Kirishima catching a passed out Midoriya.

"Now go grab some food, your next class is after lunch" Mr Aizawa said, smiling as he walked off to grab his own food, as well as catch a well needed nap.

"Cheap trick Aizawa" All Might said from the shadows, "I've seen you fire entire classrooms when they scored below perfect" he said with a small chuckle.

"What can I say, this lot have promise, the drive" he said before walking past All Might. "Shouldn't you get ready for your classroom debut, Mr number one?" Aizawa teased, walking around the corner before All Might could give a comeback.

After lunch, and a quick visit to the nurses office, everyone was recharged and ready for the lesson they have all been waiting for, basic training! Everyone sat in their seats, anxious to hopefully see the number one hero. Rumours were that he would be leading the classes for all classes, and the acceptance videos they all got supported that, but it was still hard to fully believe without visual proof.

"I AM HERE" boomed through the corridor, the door quickly opening as All Might swung through the door with style and grace. "COMING THROUGH THE DOOR LIKE A HERO!" he continued, walking through the door with his trademark smile. The class was shocked and electrified with excitement.

"He really is a teacher!"

"This year is going to be awesome!"

"Is that his silver age costume? It's so retro!"

"I'm getting goosebumps!"

The comments kept coming as All Might laughed and struck casual poses before quieting the classroom, all eyes and ears on him.

"Welcome to the most important class of UA this is going to be teaching you the know all of becoming a pro hero as well as teaching what it means to fight for justice!" he said, each word captivating his young audience. "But that's not all! We also have to train you in combat, medical practice, social interaction and quirk improvement! Which is why your first lesson shall be combat training, so don't hold anything back! He said allowed. This got some of the students very excited, and others very worried.

"But one of the most important things about being a hero is…! Looking gooooood!" he said, pointing to the wall as it began to open, revealing twenty briefcases all numbered one to twenty. "These were designed based off your recommendations are requests by the design team! Your number is where you scored on Aizawa's little test" he explained further.

"Get dressed up and meet me at training ground Beta in half an hour!" He shouted before zooming off, the class cheering as they quickly grabbed there suitcases, some already looking inside with grins as wide as there faces. Everyone quickly moved back to the changing rooms, getting changed before heading to training ground Beta.

Jiro was so happy her costume was done so specifically, her outfit screaming her inner personality, but what she loved even more were her new boots built in speakers allowing her to control her range and direction much more easily, as well as still matching her punk aesthetic. She saw Midoriya's and couldn't help but give a small chuckle, unable to deny how weirdly cute it looked on him.

All Might smiled at the front gate, looking at his students approach. "Remember this young students, from this day fourth, you are officially, hero's in training!" He said with a grin, looking over his new students. "This is getting me all revved up, you all look so cool!"

"Now, shall we get started, you bunch of noobies?" All Might said with a wide grin.
