The prompt included AU, but obviously I rather went for the human disguise part.

Family time

It was a beautiful day on Earth. In some big city, a music festival was in full swing, and it was only the middle of the afternoon.

One would swear everything was normal, quite joyful even. People were wandering to buy food, merch or just listen to the many bands playing in the many streets dedicated to the festival.

Yet, they were interlopers in the crowd. A group of four that attracted a few looks given their odd dynamic, and the height difference among them, despite them all looking like adults. They could probably do an imitation of the Dalton with their striking disparities, despite lacking a similar look and appearance completely.

The tallest was dressed way too formally for the occasion in a failed attempt to blend in, except for the pair of colored sunglasses on his head, not even on his eyes despite the bright light of the day. But if his attire didn't fit, his attitude was more relaxed as he wandered with the others, curious and even sometimes enthusiastic over something or with someone.

The second tallest was a girl with a beanie, whose clothes were more relaxed, though obviously not meant to draw attention on herself. Despite that, she was overly energetic and excited, easily rushing to one stand or another, betraying she was the youngest of the lot.

The other girl of the group was smaller, but not by much. Her own clothes were way more self affirmative, in a full gothic fashion, and she was easily dragged by her friend, and sometimes she was the one to drag someone else to a booth, often the other girl or the smallest of the group.

Said smallest man was oddly small for an adult, but compensated with being as energetic as the beanie girl. He was also the one with the darker skin, all three other being quite pale skinned. On his face and hands were scarred tissue, one could easily guess were from old burns, but they weren't preventing him from bouncing around excitedly, beaming with such pure and innocent joy he appeared younger than he actually was. His haircut was quite the extravagant one, with dreadlocks tied in a big bun on his head, like if he wanted to make himself taller that way. His clothes were also following a gothic trend, but the sharp observer would notice he had at least one element to match all three other people in the group, be it an earring, bracelet or clothing pattern.

"Oh fuck, guys, did you see that too?! Loona, Loona, over there! Look, it's like this band in Hell!"

"Damn, you're right! Looks like the music they did before passing away. I hadn't realized they were sinners, but for a band called Little Devils, it makes sense they'd look like imps once dead!"

"Yeah, I never noticed either! It's so cool! Oh, I need to buy this, I wanna hear what their music sounded like before!"

"Well, they're the band currently playing", said the guy behind the stand.

"Ooooh, yeah, that's cool!"

"You think? It's not really my thing, I prefer their current style."

The seller blinked at the white haired woman, confused, as the two men were watching the duo over with fatherly affection.

"Aw, look how they're bonding! They're such good sisters now!" Blitz cooed over their daughters.

"Darling, it's been a year already", Stolas snorted behind his hand. "But you are right, it is really nice to see them getting along. Did you hear that human earlier, asking them if they were sisters?"

"No, for real!? Ah, wish I was there to hear that!"

"Well, sorry dear, you were out looking for food, but Via was very delighted by the question, and Loona looken taken aback at first, but I shouldn't be mistaken in saying she was proud."

"Of course she is, she is a wonderful big sister!"

The Goetia in disguise nodded, following their daughter's path as they gathered more and more CDs and merch in the bag Octavia was carrying. He realized a bit late he could have tried way more casual clothes and experimented new styles, but he hadn't wanted to draw too much attention in the human realm, so he compensated by buying a few clothes, though it was hard finding anything fitting him. He would do differently next time, if there was one.

After a few minutes, he realized Blitz's enthusiasm had died down a bit, and he leaned over him, slight concern in his voice.

"Something the matter, darling?"

"Hu? Ah, no, I'm totally enjoying myself! It's just… Why come to a festival on Earth? We all have disguises and all, and it's fun, don't get me wrong! The girls are having a great time, and we haven't done something like that together in… Well, a long time, but I'm just… Curious? Usually I come here only for work, so it's still a bit disturbing, you know?"

"I guess so. It is a bit weird for me too. But it was Via's idea, and Loona was quite insistent too. Since we draw a bit too much attention in Hell, it is true that coming here is a good alternative."

The imp in disguise made a face.

"I don't want to need to come hide on Earth to be able to enjoy time with the three of you! Come on, we're official and all, Via finally likes me, kinda, Loona even warmed up to you, we're not gonna let some fuckers decide where we can go on family outings or not!"

Stolas smiled affectionately.

"Well, I agree with you, but Via really wanted to see this, it's not just to get away from the attention. It is true that it would be nice if our outing today didn't end up like the last one."

"Oh, come on, it was fun!"

"It… Kind of was, indeed, but it still isn't how I expected to finish a day together. Though I am glad that day showed me our daughters are more than capable of defending themselves."

"Like if they needed to with you around! Anyone annoying them would last only the time it takes you to get to them."

"Does that mean you admit I'm quicker than you darling?" Stolas smiled with his brows on the left side raised.

"Nah! When it's just flirting, I'm quicker to stand in. But when it's anything serious, well… My gun's quicker too, but I gotta admit, usually they dealt with it themselves or you got to them before with your eldritch form. Which is cheating, by the way!"

Again, the owl turned human giggled.

"Do I tell you you're cheating because you're using firearms?"

"Nope, but it's because you could if you let me teach you! I can't do that thing you're doing, the demonic form and all, not like this anyway. So, cheating!"

"I call that a natural advantage. Don't be jealous Blitzy, you have a lot of those too…"

The voice was becoming lewd, and the short man rolled his eyes before smiling.

"Calm your birdpuss right now, we need to watch our daughters!"

"Oh, it's not a birdpuss I have in this form, but I wasn't going to try, I just wanted to reassure you about your abilities!"

"I trust my abilities plenty enough! At least it doesn't take a fucking magic rope to make me useless!"

Stolas was quick to answer back, his comments starting to match Blitz's levels of sarcasm and even insults sometimes, much to his fiancé's delight and Via's surprise. Speaking of which, the owlet was quick to turn back as she was about to call Blitz to show him something, and she sighed.

"Let me guess", started Loona without even turning her head from the keychain she was drooling over, "they're bickering like an old couple again."

"Yup! Now that my dad talks back almost as well as yours, they'll probably be at it for a while."

"Better get them somethere else then, if they end up banging again to make up, they won't be too careful on where they'll be going."

Via grimaced.

"Ew, they're not gonna do that here too, on Earth, right?"

"With the added thrill of being in disguise? They won't be able to resist!"

Loona was quickly proven right. As they got near a few bathroom stalls, the two mean quickly disappeared in one, and the hellhound was not glad her hearing was efficient all the same in both forms as she could hear them over the music, unlike most humans around.

"Gosh, why are they so gross?" She mumbled.

Via was pointedly focusing on something else to avoid hearing something she didn't want to hear, but she still smiled.

"Yes, they are. But honestly, I am so glad to see them like that now. I still feel bad I never realized what a bitch mum was with dad, but now that I finally see him happy… I wouldn't want him to go back to how he was before. As long as they can hold in long enough not to fuck in front of us, I'm fine with it I guess."

"Yeah, Blitz was a mess too. I never really realized either, I didn't know him for that long and he is too damn good at hiding it. I was shitty at caring too, but now? Hell yeah, he's happy, I can say it. Plus, your dad's not half bad as a second father, honestly."

Via cast her a glance, smiling knowingly.

"You know both Blitz and him will never get over it if you start calling my dad dad too. They'll be overjoyed for at least a week!"

"Oh, I know, that's why I don't plan on doing it! I still don't call Blitz dad every time, and it's not like Stolas really looks forward to me calling him dad or something."

"Oh, trust me, he would be delighted! He doesn't really know how to act around you, because he doesn't want to be too much, but I'm sure he'd appreciate it all the same!"

"Ok, what about you? Did you ever call Blitz dad?"

Via tilted her head to one side, blinking.

"No, now that you mention it. But hey, I stopped calling him dickhead, it's a start?"

"It doesn't count, I still call him that when he acts like one!" Loona snorted. "Though, if we want to make our dads orgasm a second time-" "Ew, gross" "-once they get out of there, we could just call them both dads at the same time!"

This time, the princess burst out laughing.

"Oh, no no, let's wait until they really deserve it! We'd kill them on the spot if we ever called them that right now!"

"Call them what? Sweetie, did anyone bother you while we were… Er, busy?"

The two girls turned to see both their fathers were finally done. Blitz was the closest, obviously worried, while Stolas still seemed a bit dazed. He was quick to come back to his senses once he realized what Blitz was implying.

"Hey, both of you, calm the fuck down!" Loona started once she saw worry starting to appear in the prince's eyes too. "We were just chatting, and even if some people came searching for trouble, you know very well we are the trouble! We don't need two old men to handle a few fuckers ourselves!"

"Aw, that's my Loonie!"

"Well, yes, but you should know you can still count on us if you need…" Stolas started.

Via rolled her eyes.

"We know, don't you two worry. Now! If you're done, there's this group that will do a concert in the park nearby. I heard one of their songs earlier, they sound really cool, can we go see it?"

"Of course sweetie! We can all get there and buy a few snacks while we listen to it!"

"Now that's a good idea!" Loona smiled. "I'll show the way!"

"I'll grab the snacks once we're here", Stolas offered. He added, seeing Blitz's mouth open: "Since you went to grab food last time, it's only natural! Plus, I know you enjoy this kind of music more than I do, it would be a shame if you couldn't enjoy it fully!"

"Aw, thanks birdie!"

They exchanged a soft smile before heading for the park, not realizing their daughters had seen it.

On the way, Loona approached Stolas while he was asking preemptively what everyone wanted for snacks.

"Want me to help you get them?" She offered.

Stolas blinked in surprise.

"Oh, well, that is very nice, but I should manage! You are interested in the music too, you should…"

"Come on, you can't carry four cups on your own, not here where you can't use magic, and handle snacks too."

"Oh, I'll just go back and forth once or twice if needed…"

"Nah, let me help! I'm sure you can enjoy this music too, it's better if we're quick to grab everything so you can be here for the start and get into it too! You'll see."

Stolas blinked, surprised, before a genuine smile appeared on his human lips.

"Well, then okay. Thank you."

She shrugged.

"No need, I just know someone will be pissed if you come back with only the drinks and no snacks. He likes to have both at the same time!"

"True."

But Stolas wasn't stupid. He was still doing mistakes, with both Loona and Via, even with Blitz from times to times, but he knew it was Loona's way of bonding and showing she cared. She may never call him dad, like Via may never call Blitz dad too, but who nows that the future planned for them?

Right now, at least he was happy with the little family they had created, seeing how everyone was getting along with everyone, and even here, in an event that probably suited him the less our of the four of them, there was always someone to make sure he was entertained and having a good time, and it warmed his heart more than he could express.

Loona was right. He was going to try and enjoy this concert too, and not just because he was watching him with his favourite people. He used to live through making his loved ones happy, now they were teaching him he could be happy too himself, like they were all showing Blitz he was loved and deserved it, and they were helping their daughters overcome their own struggles.

There were hard times behind them, and probably others awaiting, back in Hell, but for now, the day has been one of the most peaceful they spent together, and they were all more than willing to make the most out of it.

At first I wanted something to happen to spice things up a bit, but I like a fully fluffy and cute story too, so let's leave it like that ^^
