It was Polly's first birthday, and she was excited to see what she was going to get for her birthday.
"This is a very special present for you." said Sophie, Polly's mother.
Polly opened up the present, and inside was a doll.
"Ha haha!" Polly chuckled.
The doll had chestnut brown hair, and was dressed in a pink dress.
"Do you like your new present?" asked Henry, Polly's father.
"Yay yay!" Polly said.
"This dolly's name is Molly Ann." Sophie said.
Polly gratefully hugged the doll, hoping to not let go of her.
As the years went by, Polly had never let go of the doll. She used her as a security toy. Whenever bullies teased her, whenever she suffered an injury, she even coddled her after her circus performances.
*Six years later*
Snoopy and Fifi were running away from Polly after she told them that the Colonel needed them pink. Snoopy had already been dyed pink, and Polly was about to dye Fifi pink, only for Snoopy to fight back, getting Polly dyed pink herself. Polly chased after the two dogs.
"Hugo! Fifi! Come back!" Polly called. "Hugo the Great! Fifi! Come back!"
Polly made her realisation.
"I guess they're not coming back." Polly sighed, admitting defeat. "I'll have to tell the Colonel that they've run away."
Polly called the Colonel to tell him the bad news.
"They've run away, Colonel." Polly said sadly. "I tried to dye Fifi pink, but Hugo got me dyed pink instead. Yeah. They ran away. I tried to call them back, but they didn't listen."
The Colonel told Polly that she could try and find another dog to take their place.
"Yes, Colonel." said Polly. "Thank you, Colonel."
Polly had her bath, washing all the pink dye off, and after changing into her nightgown, she looked at her remaining poodles; Kiki and Bibi.
"Kiki, Bibi. I hate to share the bad news with you, but Fifi had run off…. with Hugo."
Kiki and Bibi were surprised.
"I don't know if Fifi will ever come back." said Polly. "But I know Hugo will never return."
Polly went to her closet and pulled out her dolly Molly Ann and coddled her.
"There there, Molly Ann." said Polly. "You're the only friend besides my dogs I need now. How I miss my Fifi already. How I miss you, Fifi!"
But, as if by magic, a certain poodle with a bow in her hair, walked into Polly's bedroom.
"Ruff!"
"Kiki? Bibi?" Polly quizzed.
Polly put Molly Ann down, and then turned to the door…..
"Fifi!"
Polly ran to Fifi and hugged her.
"Oh, Fifi! You came back! Tell me. Where is Hugo?"
Fifi gestured that Snoopy had taken a bus back to Sparkyville.
"So Hugo's gone back to Sparkyville?" said Polly. "Well, that's a bit unfortunate. But oh well. At least you're back now. And the Colonel suggested I find a new dog to take Hugo's place."
Fifi looked down at her front paws.
"I'm sorry I tried to colour you." said Polly. "Can you ever forgive me?"
Fifi jumped into Polly's arms, and licked her right cheek, causing her to blush.
*Present day*
Polly had had a busy day at school. She went to hit the books as an assignment for her social studies class. Polly kicked off her pink boots, and sat down in her chair.
"Let's see…." Polly said to herself.
Fifi, Bibi and Kiki looked at Polly. They could see she had had a trying day, and now had to do her homework.
"The real assignment is…. what is the capital city of Japan?" Polly said to herself. "Dad? Where's the atlas?"
"It's in the shelf downstairs." said Henry Carlson.
Fifi, Kiki and Bibi knew just what to do. They went downstairs to find the atlas.
"Too bad I've never been to Japan." said Polly. "Or else I'd know the answer already. I'll need Molly Ann. Now where could she be?"
Polly looked to her bed, and there was the doll she had ever since she was a toddler. Polly picked up Molly Ann, and coddled her.
"You're the one I need right now, Molly Ann." said Polly as she coddled her doll.
Fifi, Bibi and Kiki came back to Polly's room, and they were most surprised to see her coddling her doll.
Polly tried her best to look for Japan in her atlas, but just before she could read the capital city, her eyes started to feel weary.
"I'd better hit the hay." said Polly. "I'll try and do the assignment tomorrow."
Polly went to take her shower, and afterward, she changed into her nightgown. She slipped into bed, but not without her favourite childhood doll, Molly Ann.
"Goodnight, Molly Ann." said Polly. "And I love you."
Polly kissed Molly Ann, and as she coddled her to sleep, Fifi, Bibi and Kiki decided to head off to their doggy beds for their sleep.
"Don't worry, Molly Ann." said Polly. "I'll always treasure you."
But that was easier said than done.
The next morning, Polly woke up, getting herself ready for school when…..
"Molly Ann? Molly Ann?" Polly exclaimed. "Where could that doll have gotten to?"
Polly got up and out of bed. She looked all over her bedroom.
"Molly Ann? Molly Ann! Molly Ann!" Polly called.
Polly went downstairs to look for Molly Ann, but accidentally swapped her father's coffee with a bottle of maple syrup.
"Maple syrup?!" cried Henry. "What's going on?"
"Daddy!" Polly cried. "Molly Ann!"
"What about Molly Ann?" asked Henry.
"Molly Ann is….. gone!" Polly cried.
"Aren't you a bit old for dolls?" asked Henry.
"Maybe so," said Polly. "But this doll is oh so special to me!"
And then Polly burst into tears.
"What's going on here?" asked Sophie, Polly's mother.
"It's Molly Ann!" Polly said. "She's gone!"
"Don't worry, Dear." said Sophie. "We'll look for her."
Polly went back upstairs to change into her sleeveless shirt, jeans, and boots, put gold ankle bracelets around her jeans so her boots could go up her jeans, and then called for her poodles; Fifi, Bibi and Kiki.
"Poodles!" said Polly. "I'm in a bit of a folly here. Molly Ann has gone missing! So while I'm at school, I want you all to go searching for her."
The three poodles nodded in agreement, and got to searching.
"Please find her." Polly begged. "I can't bear to be without that dolly of mine!"
Fifi, Bibi and Kiki each stood on their hind legs, and gave a salute, promising to find Molly Ann.
"Good girls." said Polly. "I'd better see Molly Ann back when I get home from school."
And Polly was well on her way, feeling better knowing her dogs would be willing to find her dolly. Much to Polly's delight, the bus had already arrived at her stop. Polly got on, and walked along the aisle right until she found Floyd in his seat. Polly looked a bit upset.
"Hey, Lambcake." said Floyd. "Why in such a mood?"
"Don't tell anyone, Floyd." said Polly. "But….. I have lost my dolly."
"You have a dolly?" said Floyd.
"Yes." said Polly. "I've had her ever since my first birthday."
"Okay then." said Floyd.
Polly had arrived at her homeroom, where many other students had already arrived.
"Hey, Polly!" they all said.
"Hey, guys." sighed Polly as she walked over to her desk.
"Why the long face?" asked Mary Stewart.
"Now isn't the time to explain." said Polly. "I'm still thinking about it."
"No need to explain now." said Mary Stewart. "You can explain during lunch."
"Okay then." said Polly.
So Polly went to her drama class, and tried her best to perform, but because she had her poodles and her dolly in her mind, she couldn't concentrate. She stood on her tippy toes, but she soon lost her balance.
"Are you alright, Polly?" asked Pierre.
"I'm okay." said Polly. "It's just….. something else on my mind."
"What else is on your mind, ma Polly?" asked Violette.
"It's….. it's…." Polly tried to answer.
"Oui?" asked Violette.
"It's nothing." sighed Polly.
Violette and Pierre looked at each other nervously. They knew Polly wasn't telling the truth.
At lunch time that day, Polly was sitting on her own when the two Marys went to sit with her.
"So what is it you're sad about?" asked Mary Stewart.
"Okay." said Polly. "I'll talk. I….. I have a doll I've had since my first birthday."
The two Marys looked at Polly, and didn't say anything.
"Sometimes, I like to coddle this doll whenever I have any issues." Polly continued.
"That's okay, Polly." said Mary Jo. "I myself have a blanket that I love dearly, and I hate to be separated from it.
"So…. you're not going to laugh at me for having a dolly?" asked Polly.
"No." said Mary Stewart. "Why should we? She's your doll."
"And there's one issue." Polly added. "She's gone missing!"
"Missing?!" cried the Marys.
"And my poodles are out to search for her." said Polly.
"Well, this calls for a search party!" decided Mary Stewart.
Later that day, Polly brought Mary Stewart to her house to show her photos of her and her doll.
"So what's this doll's name?" asked Mary Stewart.
"Her name is Molly Ann." said Polly.
When the two girls got to the Carlson place, Polly got out a photo album and showed Mary Stewart the photos of her with Molly Ann.
"Wow! She's such a cute doll!" said Mary Stewart. "So where did you see her last?"
"I had her coddled in my arms in bed last night." said Polly. "But as I woke up, I was empty handed. Molly Ann was….. gone!"
"Maybe she came to life and just walked off yourself." chuckled Mary Stewart.
"That's not funny!" said Polly. "Molly Ann was special to me! Come on, let's search my room for her."
So the two girls looked around Polly's room, searching for Molly Ann.
"I don't think she was in the wardrobe." said Polly.
"She has to be somewhere." said Mary Stewart.
Polly got a look in the sock draw.
"No. Not in my sock draw." Polly said.
"Then this really calls for a search party!" said Mary Stewart as she left the Carlson place.
As Mary Stewart departed, Fifi, Kiki and Bibi came home.
"Any luck?" asked Polly. "Did you fine Molly Ann?"
Fifi shook her head no. Then Kiki, and then Bibi.
"Good grief!" groaned Polly. "Well, we'll have to search tomorrow. It's too late to continue now."
With that, Polly got back to doing her homework.
"Now, the capital city of Japan….." Polly wondered as she looked through her atlas.
The three poodles looked at each other in confusion.
Meanwhile, at the Browns' place Charlie Brown was getting ready to feed Snoopy.
"Snoopy, your dinner's ready." Charlie Brown said.
Snoopy got down and happily tucked into his dinner. As he did so, Sally walked up to them.
"Big Brother." said Sally. "Someone's at the door."
Good grief!" cried Charlie Brown. "I hope it's good news!"
Charlie Brown walked to the front door, and was most surprised to see…..
"Mary?"
"Hey, Charlie Brown." said Mary Stewart. "I didn't bother you at the wrong time, did I?"
"No." said Charlie Brown. "Why?"
"You see….." said Mary Stewart. "It's Polly."
"What about Polly?" asked Charlie Brown.
"She has a dolly, and it's gone missing!" said Mary Stewart.
"Good grief!" cried Charlie Brown.
"I know." said Mary Stewart. "That doll meant a lot to Polly."
"And I think I know who can help look for her." said Charlie Brown.
Charlie Brown went into the backyard and found Snoopy as he had finished his dinner.
"Hey, Snoopy." said Charlie Brown. "Do you remember Polly?"
Snoopy thought and thought. Then, it hit him; She was the same circus girl who changed his name to Hugo the Great.
"She's got a dolly, and she's gone missing." Charlie Brown explained.
"Miss Polly had a dolly? Good one, Big Brother!" Sally laughed.
"It's not funny." said Charlie Brown. "This is serious business."
Snoopy thought and thought. And then he shrugged.
"I guess he won't be helping." Charlie Brown decided as he and Sally went back inside.
"Who's Polly?" asked Wally.
"She's a girl who goes to my middle school." said Charlie Brown. "She lost her dolly."
"Polly….. does she by any chance perform circuses?" Sally asked, remembering the day Sparkyworld opened.
"Yes." said Charlie Brown. "She performed when Sparkyworld opened."
"Sparkyworld…." Sally pondered. "Of course!"
The next day, Polly was making her way to school when she noticed Snoopy as she passed the Browns' place.
"Hugo!" Polly cried.
Snoopy was lazing on his doghouse when Polly walked up to him.
"Hugo. I know this sounds crazy, but I really need your help." said Polly.
"Eh!" Snoopy said.
Polly held out a photo of her doll Molly Ann, and Snoopy got up and noticed the photo.
"Hugo, this is my doll, Molly Ann. I want you to go out and look for her. If you please." Polly begged.
Snoopy thought and thought.
"If you help search for her, I promise never to dye you pink again."
Snoopy took Polly's words, and then was up and off his doghouse.
"Atta boy, Hugo!" Polly said as she left her photo of Molly Ann, and headed off to school.
As Polly left, Snoopy ran into his doghouse and came out dressed in a Sherlock Holmes outfit. He whistled for all his bird friends to fly to him. There, flying towards him, were Woodstock, Tammy, Firdo, Harriet, Bill, Olivier, Conrad, Roy, Fred and Raymond. Snoopy showed the birds the picture of the doll, reminding them that that was what they were going to search for. All the birds nodded and set to work searching for the doll. Because they could fly, all the birds flew about Sparkyville to look for Molly Ann.
"Mm hm." Snoopy nodded as he did his own searching.
At school, Polly got to her homeroom, and told Mary Stewart all about it.
"Did you find Molly Ann?" asked Mary Stewart.
"No." said Polly. "But I asked a certain beagle to help me out."
"You're not talking about Snoopy, are you?" asked Mary Stewart.
"Snoopy? Who's Snoopy?" asked Polly.
"He's Charlie Brown's dog." said Mary Stewart. "He's white and black, he sleeps on his doghouse instead of inside of it…."
"That's funny." said Polly. "Because I once tamed a dog I named Hugo who looks like that dog."
Then Polly made her realisation.
"Oh….. so that's why he didn't know whether to respond to Hugo. His real name is Snoopy."
"And what did you do with Snoopy this time?" asked Mary Stewart.
"I asked him to search for Molly Ann." said Polly.
"Who's Molly Ann?" came a voice.
The voice belonged to Floyd.
"Molly Ann?" said Polly. "Oh. That's the doll I've been talking about."
"I'll help find her for you." said Floyd.
"Oh, will you?" asked Polly. "Thank you, Floyd!"
"Um…. okay. I'll help out later. Right now, we have classes to attend." Floyd said, blushing.
Later that day, during lunch. Floyd had gathered everyone round to make his announcement.
"Everybody!" Floyd announced. "As you may or may not know, Polly has lost her childhood doll!"
Everyone looked at each other in confusion.
"Polly still has a doll?" Emerald said to Scarlet.
"By the sounds of it." Scarlet replied.
"And here is a picture of her in my hands." Floyd continued, holding up the picture of Molly Ann. "If anyone can find her, Polly will be most grateful. Will you do it?"
"YES!" Everyone chanted.
"I guess so." Lucy sighed.
"But after school." Floyd continued. "Now, we have our final classes to attend!"
So everyone headed off to their classes, and Polly walked up to Floyd.
"That was a very courageous thing to say, Floyd." said Polly. "Now come on. We've got our last class to attend."
Polly dragged Floyd along with her, with Floyd blushing in excitement.
The school day had finished, and everyone got to searching for Polly's doll. Polly went home, and agreed to wait for whoever found her doll first.
"That should give me enough time to do my homework." said Polly.
As the middle schoolers passed Birchwood Elementary, Sally, the first one out, was most surprised.
"What's going on?" asked Sally.
"A search party is going on, that's what!" said Linus. "We're searching for Polly's dolly!"
"Polly's dolly? Of course!" Sally cried.
Everyone behind Sally stopped in their tracks, noticing Sally blocking their way.
"What's the hold up?" demanded Billy.
"There's a search party going on!" Sally announced. "Come on! Let's find that dolly!"
And everyone stormed out of Birchwood Elementary like a swarm of bees, ready to search for a doll, or something that resembled a doll.
Charlie Brown got home and noticed Snoopy wasn't there.
"Huh? Where's Snoopy?" Charlie Brown wondered.
Then, he thought and thought.
"Polly must've come over and asked him to look for her doll." Charlie Brown realised.
Linus and Lucy got home, and looked around for anything that resembled a doll.
"I don't even know why all this fuss over a dolly!" Lucy huffed. "Why Polly couldn't just find a new one is beyond me."
"Floyd tells us this doll means a lot to Polly." said Linus. "After all, I don't see how Polly coddling this doll is any different to me coddling my blanket!"
"I guess so." sighed Lucy. "You go search for the doll.
Eudora looked around the playground for the doll.
"No. It can't be here." said Eudora. "I don't think Polly would've left it here."
Rerun looked in the sandbox.
"No. She's not in the sand." Rerun said.
As he said this, Katie arrived.
"Why do you think this doll is in the sandbox?" asked Katie.
"It's somewhere, I hear." said Rerun. Someone might have stolen the doll and buried her in the sandbox."
"I'll help you look for her." said Katie as she got a bucket and spade.
Rerun looked at Katie get into the sandbox and sighed dreamily at her.
"Are you alright?" asked Katie.
Sally looked in her room for the doll when Charlie Brown came in.
"I don't think this doll is in your room." said Charlie Brown.
"The doll is somewhere." said Sally. "Snoopy could've stolen her and given her to me."
"If Snoopy really stole the doll, how come she asked Snoopy to help find her?" asked Charlie Brown.
"You got me there, Big Brother." said Sally as she exited her room.
Heather Wold was at her place, searching for the doll.
"What are you doing, Big Sister?" asked Henry.
"Looking for Polly's doll." said Heather.
"Polly?" Henry said. "You mean….?"
"That's right." said Heather. "Though I do know someone else who could help."
Heather went downstairs to her Fifi's doghouse.
"Fifi!" Heather called to her dog. "I need you to find a doll!"
Fifi got up, and upon hearing the word "Doll", she was up and ready to help search for the doll.
"Wait! I didn't say what the doll looked like!" Heather called.
At the Emmons place, Janice searched around her place for the doll.
"What are you looking for?" asked Lindsey.
"I'm looking for a doll." said Janice. "This doll has brown hair and wears a pink dress."
"Doesn't sound like any of my dolls." said Britney.
"Good grief." Janice sighed. "Oh well. I guess she's not in my house then."
Janice exited her house to join the search party again.
"Where could Polly's doll be?" wondered Janice. "If she's not in my house, then….. Oh, I know!"
Janice decided to go to the Van Pelt place, when Linus walked on by.
"If you're looking for Polly's doll, she's not in my place." said Linus.
"Aw…." sighed Janice. "That was my next guess."
Marcie and Franklin looked over the Johnson place.
"Are you sure Polly's doll is here, Marcie?" asked Franklin.
"It's somewhere, Franklin." said Marcie. "Maybe somebody had stolen it."
Peppermint Patty, all alone at her place, searched all over her house.
"No sign of that doll here." said Peppermint Patty.
Once Peppermint Patty was about to give up, she heard the phone ring.
"Hello?" said Peppermint Patty as she picked up the phone.
"It's Marcie."
"Oh. Hey, Marcie." said Peppermint Patty. "Any luck finding Polly's doll?"
"No luck, Sir." said Marcie. "She's not here. Franklin was right."
"Well, the doll's not here either, Marcie." said Peppermint Patty. "Well, good luck searching, Marcie."
"Thanks, Sir. Best of luck to you too."
And the two girls hung up. After Peppermint Patty hung up, Pierre and Violette came over.
"Oh. Bonjour, ma Peppermint." said Pierre.
"Any luck finding Molly Ann?" asked Violette.
"No luck yet, Pete. No luck, Violette." said Peppermint Patty.
Tommy, who was also on the search for Polly's doll, noticed her walk past her.
"Polly?"
"Oh. Hey, Tommy." said Polly. "Did you find my doll?"
"No." said Tommy. "I don't think she'd ended up in my place."
"Well," said Polly. "I got bored waiting at home, so I'm going to Schroeder's for a bit. Mary told me she'd be there, talking about the search party."
"Okay." said Tommy. "I'm going over to Frieda's. Maybe the doll had ended up in her place."
"Maybe it is." said Polly. "Well, good luck."
Thanks." said Tommy as he continued his way to Frieda's.
When Tommy got to Frieda's place, he knocked on the door, and who should answer the door but Frieda.
"Hey, Tommy!" said Frieda. "Find Polly's doll?"
"No." said Tommy. "But I've come to help you find her. Thought she might be here."
"Oh, I could do with the help." said Frieda as she escorted Tommy into her place.
"You search downstairs, I'll search upstairs." said Frieda.
"It wasn't in your naturally curly hair, was it?" asked Tommy.
"No!" giggled Frieda.
Pig-Pen was searching his place. He had hoped the dolly hadn't ended up under his dust. Patty Swanson and Violet watched on.
"Why would a doll end up in someone as filthy as Pig-Pen?" wondered Violet.
"Come on! A little dirt never hurt a doll!" Patty Swanson said.
As Pig-Pen searched for Polly's doll, Wayne King walked on by.
"Hey, Violet." said Wayne King.
"Wayne. If you're wondering why I'm here and not with Schroeder, he's not my boyfriend!" Violet said.
"How did you know I was going to ask that?" asked Wayne.
"You always ask that!" Violet remarked.
"Oh. I guess I do." chuckled Wayne.
Schroeder was at his piano, with Mary Stewart resting on top.
"Schroeder? Do you think Polly will be able to find her doll?" asked Mary.
"Maybe." said Schroeder. "At least someone will be able to find her."
As Schroeder said this, Polly walked in.
"Speaking of whom….." Schroeder said.
"Hey Mary, hey Schroeder." said Polly.
"Find your doll yet?" asked Mary.
"No." said Polly. "Thought I'd drop by and relax until someone eventually does find it."
"That's a good way to take your mind off of your doll." said Mary Stewart.
Lila looked around her house, and then in Belle's house.
"Belle couldn't have taken her." said Lila.
Jose Peterson, 555, 3, 4, Tapioca Pudding, Spearmint Sammy, Marty, Russell Anderson, Lydia, Eugene, Jasmine, Peggy Jean, Melody-Melody, Evie, Thibault, Claudia, Skylar and Hope searched the park.
"No sign of a doll here." said Claudia.
"Why all this fuss for a doll?" quizzed Thibault.
"Where could this doll be?" asked Peggy Jean. "Oh well. I'd better focus on getting my Brownie Charles back."
Mimi searched her garden.
"No dolls in this garden bed either." said Mimi.
Shermy and his sister Jill searched all over their place.
"No doll like that here." said Shermy.
"I have a lot of dolls myself." said Jill. "None like the one Polly has."
Floyd decided to go to Polly's place and have a more thorough look. Floyd looked and looked. He looked under the bed and saw…..
"Could this be her?" asked Floyd.
Floyd put his arm under Polly's bed and…..
"It's her! It's Polly's dolly!"
Floyd, with a doll in hand, noticed Tommy walking by.
"Hey, Tommy! Guess what!" Floyd cried.
"What is it?" asked Tommy.
"Look at this doll!" Floyd said. "This must be the dolly Polly was looking for!"
"Well I never!" cried Tommy. "By the way, Polly is at Schroeder's."
Thank you!" said Floyd as he dashed over to Schroeder's.
Polly was practicing her own circus performance at Schroeder's when Floyd walked in, hiding something behind his back.
"Lambcake! Oh, lambcake!" called Floyd.
"Lambcake?" Polly said. "Floyd! What are you doing here?"
"What does your doll look like?" asked Floyd.
"She's got chestnut brown hair." Polly said. "She's wearing a pink dress…."
Floyd pulled his right hand from his back and showed Polly the doll she'd been looking for.
"Molly Ann!" Polly cried as Floyd handed her the doll. Polly coddled the doll happily. "Where did you find her?"
"She was right under your bed." said Floyd.
Polly cried tears of joy. Of all the beings in Sparkyville, Floyd was the one who would find the doll.
Later, everyone gathered round the Carlson place when word had spread that Polly's dolly had been found.
"Where was she?" asked Shermy.
"She was right under my bed all along!" said Polly. "I guess I let go of her as I drifted into a deep, deep sleep. At least she didn't drift off to Tokyo….. Tokyo! I'll be back in a second!"
Polly went back inside, and got to her desk to finish her homework. The answer to the question….
"The capital city of Japan is….. Tokyo!" Polly said.
Polly then walked back outside where everyone stood. Floyd, noticing Polly coming out.
"Listen, everyone!" Floyd called. "I've got a song for Polly."
Floyd cleared his throat and….
"Miss Polly had a dolly ever since she was one.
She used her for her safety and would bring her just for fun.
But one day she had vanished, Polly then she seemed to avoid,
But she was under the bed, eventually found by Floyd!"
Polly loved Floyd's song. She was happy her favourite boy was able to find her doll.
"Oh, thank you so much, Floyd!" Polly said as she hugged him.
Floyd looked towards Polly and blushed bright red.
"Oh….. anytime, Lambcake!"
Polly rubbed Floyd's hair and then kissed his right cheek. And then, she made her decision.
"You know," said Polly. "Maybe I don't need Molly Ann right now."
Polly went back upstairs to put Molly Ann on her bed to coddle later.
Huh?!" Linus quizzed.
"Right now, I have the one person I'd love to coddle right now."
Polly did just that. She cuddled Floyd for the rest of the afternoon, grateful for what he had done.
"Call that an ending?" said Charlie Brown. "At least Polly got what she wanted. Heather, Would you do that for me?"
"As always." said Heather as she hugged Charlie Brown.
"Come on, Floyd." said Polly. "For what you've done, you can sleep over at my house for the weekend."
Floyd was excited. Not only had he found his lambcake's doll, but he'd also been invited to her house for a sleepover.
That Friday evening, Floyd arrived at Polly's place with his sleeping bag, Polly was happy that Floyd had come. Floyd lay out his sleeping bag, and Polly happily watched as Floyd did so.
"Thanks for allowing me to sleep over." said Floyd.
"Hey. It was the thanks I could give for helping me out in this predicament." said Polly.
Floyd and Polly decided to watch a movie.
"You know, Floyd." said Polly. "You're cute when you're nervous."
Polly leaned closer to Floyd, gently hugging him.
"Aw, Lambcake! Not while we're watching this movie!" Floyd said.
"Let it run." Polly said sweetly as she kissed Floyd's left cheek.
Well, Floyd really is glad to have Polly as a lambcake, now isn't he?
