After a long afternoon, the pair finally returned to UA, books and memories plenty. Izuku kept up his poker face while they drew near their dorm, everything looked as ordinary as ever, perfect. Heading toward the main doors, Izuku caught sight of a shadow moving away from a window, feeling a little nervous with every step.
"What's the matter Izuku?" Ciana noticed Izuku was now looking kinda nervous and shaken up, gasping when she came to a theory. "Wait! T-those guys before didn't end up hurting you did they?" Thinking it had to do with a quirk and Izuku was hiding his pain knowing him…
"E-eh? No, sorry, just a random thought came to me, overthinking again," He smiled a little, holding the door handle. "Just theories about my quirk but nothing really concrete; here," Opening the door for her, he let her enter first. Any moment now...
Ciana still narrowed her brows in concern and suspicion. "Well just in case I'm checking you over before I have to hit the books again with my work…" Ciana ended up saying as she wanted to make sure he's not hiding anything… now stepping in, thinking Izuku will take a few minutes before coming in again since they had to be secretive from the boys.
If she had given him one last look, she had seen his growing smile give away his façade. Turning the corner, some lights came on for the common area again, revealing decorative streamers, balloons and everyone in their class. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY FINLEY!" The majority bellowed out loudly.
Ciana immediately flinched and yelped from the sudden surprise, staring wide eye at everyone while also blinking to process what just happened. "W-wha?!" Seeing the decorations and her friends gather together shouting out her event… not only was she surprised by the gesture but that they knew today was her birthday. "Y-you…" this is when Ciana ended up laughing, clearly not expecting this.
"H-how did you guys know it was my birthday?! I-I haven't even told anyone besides…" This is when she realized something, glancing at Izuku behind her with a little smirk. "You had something to do with this didn't you?" Ciana already caught on he must have did something for them to know.
Izuku put his hands behind his back with a coy smile, whistling while refraining from snickering. "I made a call to Jiro, she passed the word along for me,"
"Backstabbed by Broccoli Head, who would've thought, eh?" Kyoka smirked with her arms crossed as Ashido and Kirishima waved their arms out in front of the rocker.
"It was all our plannin' after, happy birthday, man!" Kirishima grinned ear to ear.
"How dare you not tell us anything! I nearly missed an important day for you!" Ashido pouted teasingly.
Ciana was very touched by this special event they did for her… her hands going over her heart and smiling so happy with some tears beginning to show. "You guys… I-I don't know what to say…" Ciana wiped her happy tears from her eyes, already getting a bit emotional. "I-I didn't want to bring anymore stress on any of you knowing how hard you all worked from the exams."
Ciana explains, she wasn't selfish and didn't want to add anymore pressure.
"Don't be like that," Kaminari shrugged, leaning onto the back of the sofa with a thumb up. "You should always look out for your friends, especially on days like this,"
"Yeah, so too bad!" Hagakure waved her arm at Ciana.
"And I dunno if you can tell given your quirk-" Sato moved up a bit with a modest expression. "-but I even baked a cake and everything, so I hope you like it,"
Seeing the cake he made on the table, Ciana was already dazzled how it looked, surprised that Sato was a baker. It even smelled good as she approached to see closer that it had her name written in frosting and that there was strawberries decorating the top. "I didn't know you baked Sato! This looks amazing…" Ciana eyes sparkled in a wowed expression.
"This almost looks too nice to eat… thank you, I-I can't wait to see how it even taste!" The girl beamed, very impressed by Satos cooking skills. Surprised he never mentioned what he's so skilled doing.
"Well, as you know, my quirk involves sugar a lot to work, so naturally, I picked up baking to help with that, and just because it's a hobby of mine," The big guy admitted to, delighted she liked the appearance, and hopefully the taste too.
"Sucks we didn't have enough time to get you something from all of us, so instead, we all pitched in to grab a few things in the short time we had," Uraraka held up a gift bag full of gifts with a big grin.
"Take a seat and enjoy," Kaminari waved her over to the sofa.
Ciana didn't expect gifts ether, but sits down like they all instructed. "Y-you guys didn't have to do that, b-but I'm so grateful for the thought ether way." Ciana smiled, already she opened some of the things everyone pinched in… first gift she opened was Jiros… her eyes widening in surprise seeing that it's a small long board piano, holding it up to see closer.
"A-a piano?! T-this is because of my performance from the festival isn't it?" Ciana eyed Jiro with a big smile knowing she's a lover of music just as much as she is.
"Ain't super expensive but I thought, 'good start', though if you ever wanted a bigger one to work with, just ask," The musician shrugged to appear aloof, rubbing her reddened cheek a bit.
"It's been so long since I even touched a piano… it's going to feel so good to be able to use it more now." Ciana smiled thankfully at her punk rock friend, already looking forward to playing some of her moms songs again. Next up was Aoyomas… slipping her hand in the shiny looking paper bag to take out a round silver shiny handheld mirror, blinking in a little surprise at this.
"A mirror? Wow… I-it's so shiny." Looking at her reflection of this, this seemed to match the sparkly guy's personality well which had her chuckle a bit.
"A perfect gift to dazzle up your room, mon ami," He posed a bit with a twinkle as a few looked at the item with mixed results.
"Dude, it's like I'm staring at a miniature sun when you look at it the wrong way," Kaminari winced, moving from where he sat to see better.
"Don't ever have a flashlight pointed at that thing," Ashido snickered.
Their reactions just had her chuckle more, now wondering how his bedroom looks… but was happy from what she received as it looked nice enough to primp up in. "This will be perfect when I want to look nice, thank you!" Ciana beamed with her own bright smile showing.
Next up was Ashido and Hagakure, one gift being wrapped in pink frilliness and the other hot pink with some leopard patterns. Opening then to see stuffed animals of a blue bear and a nice retro hat which were so cute as she held them up view them closer. "Aw this is so cute! And wow, this hat is so pretty!"
Knowing Ashido likes to keep in style, it with a beret with a ribbon attached to the top.
"Super cute, right? Told ya it was perfect!" Hagakure nudged Ojiro's side as he smiled nervously.
"I never said it wouldn't," He defended.
"Gotta look great for when it counts, right?" Ashido swayed side to side next to Ciana, winking to her knowingly.
Ciana already goes to put it on, already feeling stylish. "I'll say! How do I look guys?" She asks everyone while posing her new hat, showing her smile and even her new cute plush in hand.
"Hm, yes, the colour suits your hair perfectly, it even goes with your outfit now, I'm a genius!" Ashido puffed out her chest.
The others all gave nods and sounds of approval at the clothing choice. Izuku had a warm smile too, the hat was really fitting for Ciana, he liked it a lot, though he's biased as most things she wore he liked.
"I can't wait to show this off next time I explore the streets!" Ciana kept the hat on and hugged Ashido thankfully at the thoughtful gift as well as her invisible gal friend, still wishing she could see what she looks like. "Thank you both! I love them!"
Sitting back down, next was Mineta, opening it to reveal… "Eh…?" Cianas eye twitched when it turned out to be a pack of bright frilly panties, not sure how to respond to this gift. "…Do you expect me to model in this for you, Mineta?" Ciana raised her brow suspiciously, at least not looking too annoyed since in a way this is funny despite being kinda awkward.
"Really?" Pretty much half the class deadpanned at the short kid.
"N-No! ...unless you're offering?" Mineta replied quickly under his breath, earning both a slap of Tsu's tongue and Kyoka's jack to his ears.
"Mineta, this is very inappropriate!" Iida warned, Yaoyorozu also not looking to happy about this.
"Say, Midoriya, you good at digging with a shovel?" Ashido asked nonchalantly, seeing the very bemused look on the greenette's face, his arms crossed in silence.
Ciana just ended up laughing… her hand hovering over her mouth as she let out a lot of giggles, this might be really inappropriate of him but this earned a laugh out of her which is still a good enough gift for her. "Y-your so disgusting Mineta but your too funny!" Ciana ended up saying as she was still giggling, wiping a tear from her eye.
"Y-your lucky it's my birthday or otherwise I get out my pepper spray on you again." Ciana surprisingly ended up smiling at her funny pervy friend, he really is lucky it's her event or his eyes be in for another sting…
"He probably heard ya..." Kyoka hummed, looking down from the sofa to Mineta currently spasming on the floor from their attack. "Honestly, your tolerance for this perv astounds me,"
"Well, forget him, let's keep the ball rolling, only a few left," Ashido egged Ciana on.
"Already this is getting to be fun!" Ciana beamed, Mineta ended up giving her the gift of laughter, but now moving on… scanning the gifts as she had a hard time who to view next, noticing Shoto actually got her something which surprised her. "You even got me something Shoto?" Picking up a little bag, reaching her hand in to take out a omanari amulet but this one looked more different from the festival and that it had the inscription 'Protection'.
This surprising the girl as she wondered if it's from the same festival or a different place. "Wow, you also got one of these Shoto? Is this from the festival too?" Ciana wasn't sure if he ever went vending shopping outside the arena.
He perked up after she unwrapped his gift, then shook his head a bit. "I went to a shrine to get an authentic one, though, you shouldn't take it out of its packaging or it will lose it's effect, and either in a year's time, it needs to be replaced at the same shine it was acquired from or replaced, in which, old ones should be burned as a sign of respect to that specific deity,"
"Leave it to Todoroki to nail down the history lesson to a 'T'," Kirishima complimented.
Ciana smiled warmly at this as she stared down at the item, she guessed this was his way to say thanks for the one she gave him on the train, looking up at the class prince with a clear happy and thankful expression. "Knowing this is from you makes this so much more meaningful, I'll definitely always carry this around and treasure it. Thank you for this Shoto!"
Ciana felt so warm inside knowing Shoto thought of her, which is very meaningful to her.
"No problem," Shoto nodded to her with a softer expression than before.
Next was a deep red coloured gift, and lifting it proved to be much heavier than the others. It was from Kirishima, unwrapping the box, she found inside to be quite the surprise, a pair of dumbbells that from the inscription were fifteen kilograms each. Considering who they're from, it was honestly pretty accurate for the redhead.
This was totally Kirishima… knowing how he takes the expression manly well, smiling and chuckling at this work out gift. "Whoa what an awesome way to keep myself in shape!" Ciana expressed cheerfully, already testing out the heavy weights. "Now I have something to make sure my muscles don't slack off, thanks a lot Kirishima!"
It's cute how everyone's gifts matched their personalities, it's so fun receiving what came from them personally.
"Even if it just to keep yourself in good shape, always great way to pass the time!" Kirishima grinned ear to ear, bumping fists with her.
"Finley's the only girl I've met that would see such a gift like that 'awesome'," Hagakure murmured to the rest of the girls.
"I think that's par-for-the-course at this point," Kyoka shrugged, not all bothered by the idea.
"It does make Finley who she is," Yaoyorozu smiled happily.
The final two gifts present was bound in pitch black paper and white paper, complete contrasts to each other. Starting with the raven-tinted gift first, from Tokoyami, Ciana held it in both hands as she pulled out a flat square box. Inside was a gothic-styled dream catcher, the colors shades of black, purple, and hints of blue, same for the feathers attached at the bottom, the threads in the middle woven like a spider's web.
Ciana gave off a wowed and dazzled expression as she held up the pretty dream night like dream catcher. "This is beautiful… what a nice craftsmanship, is this because when I mentioned about the nightmares I been having Tokoyami?" She asked as she eyed her bird head friend, this also being a touching and thoughtful gift she found lovely.
The raven-headed teen opened his eyes to look at her. "Much can be learned in the dark, but to fear it constantly is often too much for those to bear, so I saw to my own collection to aid you," He replied in his cryptic manner.
"He was really worried about you!" Dark Shadow squawked only to have its beak clamped shut by Tokoyami who looked a little flustered as a result.
"I don't know what to say… I adore the style of this too, I'll always keep this over my bed. I feel now I can sleep better knowing I have this watching over me now." Ciana continued to scan the dream catcher with her eyes as her eyes were very dazzled by its look. "Thank you Tokoyami! I absolutely love it!"
Ciana happily expresses towards him, feeling more safer now for the upcoming nights.
He nodded curtly to her, unclamping Dark Shadow's beak as its eyes narrowed at its host. The final gift present in white was... from Yuuki? When did she find out, Ciana wondered. Shrugging, she opened the rectangular gift to unveil a black box, but atop it was a short note. 'I was informed late of this date, while my possessions are minimal, I had been given this by another but had no use for it, perhaps it will serve you better, and consider this part of my prior apology'. Inside the box was a simple white, crosshatched bracelet with several amethyst gemstones inserted into it.
"Woah..." Ashido marvelled at the item.
"I'll say, looks real expensive," Kaminari muttered.
"The stones are quite small so most likely not as much as we'd expect," Yaoyorozu commented too.
Cianas eyes widen in a very stunned manner, it was beautiful but this looked too expensive just to give as an apology. Ciana now worried Yuuki spend too much on her for this. "This… is so beautiful, a-as much as I like it I-I wouldn't want Yuuki to go this overboard for me…" Ciana wasn't sure if Yuuki is wealthy or not but still left some concerns for her since she's her friend, after all Ciana wasn't greedy.
"Actually..." Shoto spoke up, looking away from his phone as he put it back in his pocket. "She explained it wasn't bought but given to her, but she had never used it and kept it despite her protests to the original owner. She likely wished to do the same for you, her note she left mentioned as much, so I wouldn't worry,"
"I mean, bet she'd be really stubborn to return it to," Kirishima argued a bit.
"But it's ultimately your choice as well as hers," Izuku added, looking at Ciana evenly. "Both of you look out for people's interests in your own way, Yuuki's is... complicated, as we've seen, so this is probably her only way of believing she can communicate that to you,"
Ciana was speechless… staring at the bracelet for a minute to think it over. "If it was given to her by her parents then I couldn't take this from her… but, as long as she didn't spend a lot of me that's what really matters as well as it being more meaningful to her." Ciana at least places it on her wrist, smiling at the lovely jewelry.
"I'll have to make sure to thank her as well as to make sure it wasn't a gift from her family… Yuuki doesn't deserve to have that taken away from her after all." Ciana knows what it's like to not to have something that belonged to a dead relative… knowing Yuuki misses her parents like she does her mom.
"I'm sure she'd appreciate regardless if you took care of it," Kyoka assured her, having listened to the quiet and straightforward feline of 1B explain her reasons before quickly vacating the building awkwardly.
"Still, I must apologize for not all of us managing to acquire some form of gift for you, considering it is your sixteenth," Iida apologized, chopping his hand once.
"The fact we got all this put together in time was really on the wire if Midoriya hadn't kept you guys out longer," Uraraka added, tapping her fingers together. "Still, hope it was quite the surprise!"
"YEAH!" A number of them chimed as well, clapping a bit for Ciana.
Ciana was touched by everyone's effort and thought into all this, which is enough to make her smile as she brought her hand over her heart. "Seeing how hard you all worked to put this together for me is more than enough… who needs a stack of presents when I got the greatest friends in the world!" Ciana beamed happily, loving everyone around her… Ciana felt so warm and at home, there's no way she ever want to give this all up again.
"Aw, love ya too!" Ashido squeezed her tightly while Hagakure did the same from behind, Kyoka placing a hand on Ciana's shoulder, nodding once. Surrounded by so many positive emotions put Ciana's doubts to rest, most of them that openly showed it, gave smiles back to her.
"Alright, if you want a piece of your cake, just ask," Sato waved his hand a bit to the raven-brunette.
Ciana had the biggest smile than her quirk could compare, eying the delectable cake Sato worked on as she looked eager to try some. "Heck ya let's eat it! I'm so looking forward to try it and share it with all of you!" Ciana already goes to take a seat at the table, waving everyone around her to join to share this treat.
Ciana even took a quick glance at Izuku and shown him a warm and loving smile towards him in a short distance to say thank you… he's the best friend and boyfriend she could ever have.
"Okay-" Kirishima huffed out alongside Izuku as they placed down all of Ciana's things in her room, the redhead dusting off his hands. "-that ought to be everything, even though it was last minute, I'm surprised we got all this in on time, everyone really freaked out since at any moment Midoriya could've texted you were on your way back,"
"I'm a horrible liar so it was just pure chance we stayed out longer," Izuku chuckled a bit at how their fun day out was a win-win all around.
"I never noticed you informed them behind my back, you sure know how to keep surprising me Izuku…" She giggles after that, then eyed Kirishima thankfully. "Thanks for helping me put everything here, my room actually feels a lot more roomy now with all this new awesome stuff you guys got me." The panties gift was still odd of Mineta… but at least useful, but she's not going to pleasure him of showing it off…
"Sure thing, besides, come your eighteenth, it'll be even bigger, plus everyone else too!" Kirishima grinned like always, giving the two a wave from the door. "I'll leave ya guys, seeya downstairs later, happy birthday again, Ciana!"
"Thanks again Kirishima!" Ciana waved goodnight to the shark boy, still smiling happily the whole time as she eyes Izuku again. "Now I know what you been doing in the bathroom before…" Ciana predicted that's what took him long before, narrowing her eyes with her playful smile.
Izuku shut the door slowly, chuckling a bit as he turned. "Well, as I said, I'm a horrible liar, so at best I leave things out, but it was a sacrifice I was willing to make," He defended with his hand raised, then fiddled with his bag left against the wall. "Now that it's just us, I can finally give you this, honestly, the timing of your birthday actually makes this perfect,"
Removing a rectangle white case from his bag, he held it out for her. "It was originally meant as a gift at the beach, but instead... happy birthday,"
Ciana blinked at the box in surprise yet again as she now takes it from his hand staring down on it. "I figured what you did for me today was enough of a gift you could give…" Cianas heart fluttered and when she opened it… her eyes widen seeing it was a necklace of a butterfly, it was beautiful. "Izuku… this… is beautiful, when did you have the time to get this?" Ciana stared down at the necklace as she clearly looked happy and touched by the thoughtful gift.
All silver, with the pendant in the shape of a decorative butterfly with green gemstones on each wing and fitted to the body's center. Izuku eyed it for a bit while he answered. "It's summer break, so naturally, while you were busy catching up on schoolwork, I went out and bought this, glad you liked it, took me ages to find something similar to your hairpin,"
"I hope this at least this didn't cost too much to get for me… but I love it!" Ciana teared up a little as she eyed her hero with a warm loving smile, taking it out of the box to put it around her neck already. "So… h-how do I look?" Ciana asks shyly with a pink blush on her cheeks.
Moving closer to take the box and place it on her desk, Izuku put his arms around her waist, admiring her look, both with the necklace and her new hat. "You look stunning," He blushed a bit just from her appearance alone.
Ciana blushed more at the motive and the compliment but kept smiling and giggled as she now has her own arms around him in a hug. "I don't think I have any words to express to tell you how happy you made me today… and to thank you for such an amazing day."
"You've been working every hour since you got back, and important exams coming up the following Friday, and personally, I just wanted to spend time with you again, so it's no problem for me," He shrugged, he dipped a quite a bit into his savings but that's what it was there for, and it led to a great day out for the two of them, and a bonus surprise at the end thanks to the others. Now, it was just them without a soul to bother them either.
"Well it's the price to pay for taking off…" she smiled sheepishly before nuzzling her face in his chest now happily. "But I'm so sorry again for leaving…" now lifting her face again to eye him apologetically. "I never said anything because I thought if no one knew where I took off then it be less likely they know where to find me and give up trying to take me… I thought it was a way I can protect all of you."
"It's okay now, I... I'm happy you're back," His arms held her tightly. "I just hope the next time, one of us is there to help you,"
"So long as no one breaks an arm in the process…" She held him more tighter back with her head back on his chest. "I'll have to be taking my own exam soon, though I'm not sure if I'll pair with anyone since everyone is basically done with their task." Thinking it's best to change the subject since it sounded like Izuku was about to cry again.
"I'm not sure on that myself, but we never realized we'd be facing the teachers, even if they were given limitations, it wasn't easy, but you have the advantage of knowing ahead of time to prepare yourself," Izuku assured her, sitting down with Ciana on his lap, leaning her side against him.
"Yeah except I have no idea who I'll be facing…" smiling sheepishly at this as she kept her head leaned against him. "I'm still surprised you faced All Might before, how did it feel fighting against your favorite hero?" Now looking up at him with curious eyes.
"For a moment, like I was staring down Stain again, the presence All Might gave off was enough to paralyze me, if only for a second," Izuku could recall after his devastating punch, the sheer strength of his spirit, it was overwhelming. "I guess... it was Kacchan that convinced me to fight, I only saw All Might as a wall no one could surpass... I was wrong, because, if I kept looking at odds similar to him that way, I'd never be a great hero. And that my admiration was clouding my own judgements, overcoming that I feel was the real challenge in the end,"
"Sounds like Bakugo gave you the push you needed." Ciana smiled up at him, knowing how he helped her to stand strong. "I can understand it being scary fighting someone stronger and someone you admire, but situations like that you can't hold back since you need to give it your all against a opponent. But I be a bit shaky too if I were facing All Might." It's still surprising they are allowed to fight students… where she's from physical abuse to a student would get them winded up in jail.
"Even with Hatsume's weighted braces, a single punch demolished a street from the exit to us..." Izuku paled a bit, leaning his face onto her head. "I don't think I want to experience that ever again..."
Ciana flinched hearing this, surprised he's not even dead. "Okay I have to say how impressed I am you survived something as disastrous as that…" But then perked up hearing the part with Hatsume. "Wait, you got to use some of Hatsume inventions again?" Ciana wasn't sure if she was still aiding people with her work.
"We didn't, but she provided these heavy cuffs for the teachers to limit their mobility, Four each with All Might wearing double the amount. It's one of the perks of the Support Course, if their work is approved, they can allow the school to use them as they see fit with permission from the creator," Izuku explained.
"Wow that's really cool." Ciana hasn't ever got to talk to Hatsume personally but knew she worked with Izuku during the festival along with Tokoyami and Urakuka. "I don't think I ever got to ask what she was like when you worked with her, didn't you also got to use some of her inventions then?"
"If not for her equipment combined with the synergy between Dark Shadow and Zero Gravity, I dunno if we'd have made it to the final round; and despite the rocky start, you, Yuuki, Shinso, and Ojiro played it smart the whole time, perks of not being everyone's target," He chuckled a bit.
"Well yes, but I admit at first I was going through some rage when I was working with Shinso…" Ciana stared down at her lap in shame. "He tried to brainwash me by saying some harsh things… and I almost debated on making them lose…" Ciana was ashamed at the dark thought, she never felt so much anger and pain when she felt tricked into helping the enemy.
"I didn't go through with it but after learning what Shinso is truly like I felt pretty ashamed of myself from the idea…" Ciana never really felt vengeful before, it even surprised her when looking back on her behavior.
"People who use words to fight are extremely perceptive, so it's not your fault for feeling that way, Shinso said it's the natural result of using an underhanded trick like that, it worked on me," And much like Ciana, he felt rage boil over before he had a chance to correct himself, and Shinso almost won. "He's on good terms with us now, so it worked out, like with Shoto thanks to you," He pecked the top of her head afterward.
The made her blush again, feeling her heart flutter as she perked her smile back. "I-it's also thanks to you that Shoto got to stay true to himself, I think you got through to him more than I could." Ciana smiled up at him more. "Say… how did everyone react when they first heard I was gone? I didn't think Shoto cared much at first from how I behaved…" Ciana knew everyone was worried, but knowing how Bakugo reacted she was a little afraid he took his anger out on Izuku somehow.
His arms tensed around her for a second, "Not well, UA aside... Yuuki looked completely lost, she refused to talk to anyone, even Kendo. The girls were all torn up about it, same with the guys. Todoroki talked to me about it, admitting he wasn't sure if the tipping point was to do with something he said, much like how Yuuki felt. Jiro hid it well, but stuck to me more since she could tell I was lying to save face," Admitting to it to the rocker was probably what got him to speak again, even to All Might. "It's why everyone went out of their way today, they wanted to show that despite never being born here, you're a part of this class regardless, and that you're safe here,"
"It really means a lot to know you all care so much…" Ciana felt so loved when she got back, all this time she thought they would be okay without her presence. "What about Bakugo? He didn't… blow anything up did he?" He wasn't that reckless but knew he had anger issues enough to light a dynamite in his fists.
"No, thankfully, but he was snappy, more than usual," Izuku noted despite his own turmoil. "I think given your friendship with him is something only a select few have earned, your absence really bothered him,"
"And I thought he be relived from how much he said I annoy him…" she chuckled at this a bit. "I admit when you told me how he was with you during your exam, I was a bit worried I was the reason he was more harsh toward you… I mean not like I wanted him to believe it was your fault or that he just wanted to take his feelings out on you." Ciana remembered Izuku said he was difficult when they were assigned together and harsh like back during the battle test…
"That was more of our problems than anything to do with you, granted, my patience at the time was thin enough so that didn't help matters," Not something he ever wanted to deal with again, but knowing his luck, it may very well be the case. Taking a breath, he smiled as he met her eyes again. "So, anything else you'd like to know or just want to sit and relax?"
"Actually…" Ciana looked down at her hands in thought, but wasn't sure if she should ask due to what her instincts do. "I was… thinking of asking you to help me study my power more in your notes, but…" Ciana frowned and tensed up. "If I do then my dragon side will make me do something weird when I see you…" last time she asked a few times for Izuku and the other Izuku to help her, her mating instincts kicked in…
Staring at her for a moment, he considered this. Given her recent confirmation, Ciana had a better handle on her quirk. Her transformation seemed far more seamless, and it was passively working without her input. However, her instincts were something that still required practice, but unfortunately, that practice was practical. With a serious look, he nodded, "I'd rather help you between the two of us anyway to avoid any issues or accidents, at least with me, I can stop us from going too far, now that my head's on straight; I may not like it, but I know you'd prefer if I use whatever method possible to snap you out of it, if it comes to that,"
Ciana truly appreciated that, looking back up at him with a nod. She loved Izuku enough not like her other side go primal on him, she wants to love Izuku her own way than make her dragon side force this. "I'm at least aware the trick you did last time to help me, but listen…" Ciana adjusted her seat a bit as she took both his hands in hers as she stared up into his eyes. "When I'm in dragon mode… when my eyes glow it will also make you have a intimate feeling to do what I want to please me… if you do help me with this, no matter what you can't look into my eyes." Ciana didn't want to force her feelings, she always felt guilty when she did this with the other Izuku.
"I'm still not sure about that... but okay," He smiled back. "If that's what you want, if I see them glow, I'll keep my eyes shut if I'm looking at your face,"
She smiled thankfully, maybe it wouldn't happen when she's human, maybe… but just in case Ciana wanted to play it safe. But is aware of something when she looks around her room, she doesn't have sound proof tiles. "Um… maybe just in case we should do this in another location…" she suddenly suggest, rubbing her neck awkwardly.
"Eh? O-oh... right, yeah, hehe, that would be awkward," He did buy the soundproofing for more than just to speak about One For All and other related stuff. Setting Ciana on her feet, Izuku joined her, grabbing his bag in the process.
