The scene cuts back to the younger version of Lydia Potter. It shows a montage of the same nightmare induced screaming happening over a few days, and always ends with glowing silver eyes.

"I'm so sorry my heart," Fleamont whispered to his daughter, "I'm so sorry you had to suffer so early."

"It's alright Daddy," Lydia sighed, "I figured out how to deal with it anyways."

The scene continues with Lydia and Sirius practicing for their first quidditch match. "Catch Lyds!" Sirius shouted, throwing the ball at her. Lydia caught the ball, but not as flashy as she normally would've. Sirius frowned, and descended from his broom.

"You okay Lyds?" he asked softly, "you don't seem good."

"Nightmares," she answered, pushing hair out of her face, "and strange ones too."

"Strange how?" Sirius asked, sitting on a bench.

Lydia followed suit, before sighing. "It's like a cycle. Every night I have the same dream. I see a blonde girl shouting, and spells flying everywhere. Then I hear a shout, and then there's whispers. So much whispering. It's really scary, you know."

The hall digested that, suddenly less freaked out than they were before. "Potter must be a seer," Barty told Regulus, "that'd explain it. Not many seers have really been observed in action, so for all it's worth, the silver eyes are a normal seer thing."

"You're a seer!" Marlene McKinnion shouted, guilt all over her features, "why didn't you say anything?"

"Believe what you want," Lydia answered coolly. She wasn't going to give these people any more information then they already had.

Albus Dumbledore's eyes lit up. Perhaps that was the advantage the girl had over Tom. If she could see the future, then perhaps she anticipated it all, and Tom couldn't have known.

"That does sound a bit creepy," Sirius admitted, putting his hand around her shoulders, "but I'm sure it'll get better soon."

"Thank you Sirius," Lydia thanked her friend, "now I'm sure I could beat you in a race."

"Don't sound so cocky," Sirius bragged, "I've flown faster then half of our team."

"So?" Lydia mocked, "still not faster than me."

"Oh that does it," Sirius got up on his broom, "let's see if your performance matches those claims."

The scene cuts to Lydia in bed once again. This time, she's heard mumbling in her sleep. "I'll find you," she's whispering, "I'll find you and make you pay!" Lydia suddenly awakens, eyes silver, and looks around the room confused. "Where am I?" she wonders aloud, before the silver dies out, and she collapses off her bed.

"What is going on?" Benjy whispered to the girl beside him. The girl was strangely silent, which most people in the hall would normally be hailing as a miracle and relief. But now, all anyone wanted was for the girl to explain the situation.

"Sirius," she mumbles in a daze, "got to go find Sirius." Lydia is seen stumbling around the common room, none of the older students even looking up from what they were doing. Lydia walks for a little, before finding Sirius's dorm.

Sirius Black is seen enjoying a very beautiful sleep, before being rudely awakened by something poking his cheek.

"And so starts my loss of beauty sleep," Sirius bemoans, "even future me doesn't get it. Iola wakes him up too."

"Shut it Pads," Lydia rolls her eyes, "we both know you love it when I wake you up."

"What's the emergency?" Sirius mumbles, half asleep, before startling up, "Lydia!?"

"I need to tell you something," Lydia mumbles sheepishly, "something different happened in my nightmares."

"Alright," Sirius said, scooting over on his bed, "hit me with it." Lydia sits down, and immediately the whole story comes pouring out. Sirius glances at his roommates nervously, and closes the curtains around his bed in an attempt to quiet down. Sirius is confused about what he's supposed to do. He's never had anyone try and comfort him after a nightmare. He doesn't want to mess this up. Lydia is his best friend, and he wouldn't be able to live with hurting her, even by accident.

"...and then it felt as if the world was spinning," Lydia finished her story, "and I just knew I had to find you." Sirius glowed inside. Him! Someone thought he was a source of comfort.

"I can't explain your nightmares away, Lyds," Sirius began, fumbling inside for the right words to make her feel better, "but I can try and help you look for answers. How about we ditch class tomorrow, and try to figure this out?"

"You're the best Siri!" Lydia hugged Sirius, and the two began talking. Time passes, and before they know it, they're both fast asleep on Sirius's bed.

"That's why you sleep in Sirius's dorm room?" Lily asks Lydia, guilt flooding her features. She didn't know the Potter girl's night terrors were really that bad. In fact, she and the other girls had asked Lydia to leave the dorm multiple times, the screaming truly being too much for them. Soon after, her things were completely removed from the room, and she was seen descending with Sirius from his dorm daily. It was one of the biggest pieces of "evidence" the gryffindors used to prove that the two were "dating." Lily resolved to apologize to Lydia, and offer to help with their research, that is if it wasn't already completed.

"Why else?" Lydia snarked, not in the mood for the girl's guilt, "I was a literal second year, and Sirius was and has always been my best friend. Why is it weird I slept in his room"

A montage of nights where Lydia goes to Sirius's room for the night is shown. At first, Lydia would awaken in fright and run to Sirius, but as the days pass, Lydia is seen simply starting off in Sirius's bed. Eventually, she and Sirius shrink her bed, and put it in Sirius's room. Sirius's presence seems to help, if only a little.

Months pass, and Lydia and Sirius are seen sitting in a tree, Lydia playing catch with a snitch. "Saw McGonagall passing the sign up sheet for those staying back for the holiday," Lydia casually leans back on Sirius, "are you going home?"

"Never in a million years would I go back willingly," Sirius snarls, suddenly angry, "and it's not as if I'm wanted there anyways."

"Oh Sirius," Euphemia hugs the boy tightly. Too tightly. Sirius begins to turn blue.

"Love you too Effie," Sirius chokes out, "but you're killing me here. You have a surprising amount of strength for an old woman."

"Oh you," Euphemia laughs, "always the cheeky boy."

"Well then your parents could go drown in a lake!" Lydia shouts, "why don't you come to my house for the holidays?"

"Really?" Sirius asks, "I won't be a bother?"

"You'll never be a bother to us Sirius," Fleamont tells his son, "you were a blessing given to Effie and I in our old age."

"Thanks Monty," Sirius was unsure what else to say. There was no way to express with words what the Potters meant to him. They were his saviors, his anchor, and his family. He would do anything for them. Anything.

"Course not Siri," Lydia said, "my parents will love you. Besides, our manor really has plenty of space. I'm an only child, so there's plenty of room for you."

"Thank you Lydia," Sirius spoke softly, "it means a lot to me."

The scene cuts to Lydia and Sirius disembarking from the Hogwarts Express. "Lyddie!" Euphemia is seen waving to her daughter, "is that Sirius?"

"Yes Mum," Lydia was bouncing around, like the never ending cesspool of energy she was, "Sirius, come say hello to my parents."

"Hello Mr. and Mrs. Potter," Sirius mumbled shyly. Lydia was the first person to ever show any care for him other than Uncle Alphard, and he was never around. He could not mess this up.

"Is that Sirius Black, shy?!" Dorcas Meadowes was confused. At first she had thought these films were showing Sirius Black as more than the trouble-making imp he was. They were showing a more caring side to him. However, upon rethinking the last few years, she realized that that side to him was always there. He was always checking up on Lydia Potter and she did the same in turn. Yes, the two of them hexed people, she had docked many points from the pair for doing it. It's true they were reckless, cocky, and sort of insufferable, but these films showed that the pair's care for each other was beyond surface level. Knowing that she would eventually marry the man, she knew he must have portrayed something beyond his normal carefree attitude to her.

"Shut up Meadowes," he deflected, his face glowing in a cute blush. Cute! Dorcas thought to herself, when did he begin getting those titles from me?

"Nonsense," Fleamont says, coming behind Effie, "call us Monty and Effie dear. We're so glad you chose to spend the holidays with us."

"More like we're glad he puts up with our Lyddie," Euphemia laughs, "she's certainly a handful."

"Now, now Cara Mia," Fleamont warns, "we don't want to embarrass our little heart do we?"

"I would most certainly enjoy it if you did," Sirius's confidence returns, "I'm sure you have plenty of stories about Lydia's childhood."

"Oh we most certainly do," Fleamont smirks, a smirk that is most often seen on his daughter's face. It's clear to all who Lydia gets her, ah... unique, personality from.

"You're definitely like Fleamont," Minerva sighs, "a little too much like him if I dare say."

The scene shifts to them showing Sirius around the manor. "...and this will be your bedroom," Euphemia shows him a stunning room, "Monty and I decorated it based on Lydia's descriptions of your likes and dislikes. We may have gone a little overboard. Retirement does get rather dull, so we get very invested in our projects."

"Thank you," Sirius is awed by their kindness, "it really is perfect."

"It's really nothing," Fleamont reassures the boy, "it's not like our Lyddie brings friends home very often. For a friendly girl, she picks very specific friends, don't you little heart?"

"Definitely Daddy," Lydia agrees, "I only want the best, and Siri is definitely the best."

"That's great my dearest pearl" Euphemia tells her daughter, "I'm sure the family will be excited to meet Sirius. They were astonished that you didn't return for the holidays last year, and have ever since, been waiting to meet the boy who got their Dia to leave for the holidays."

"Family?" Sirius asked, suddenly sinking into himself.

"We're not really related," Lydia tells Sirius brightly, "but Mum's been friends with Augusta Longbottom since she was in diapers, so I grew up with her son Frank."

"You mean The Frank Longbottom," Sirius is awed, "as in the youngest person to be accepted into auror training, Frank Longbottom?"

"Glad to see you think so highly of me Sirius," Frank teased the boy he'd come to see as a cousin. After all, siblings of your cousins are your cousins too.

"That was before I met you in person," Sirius retorted, "and the media painted a much more impressive person then you are."

"Would you like to repeat that about my beloved husband Sirius?" Alice asked sweetly, too sweetly. Alice Longbottom née Fortesque was never that sweet.

"I meant, yeah so highly Frank," Sirius blabbered quickly, "single greatest auror after Moody."

"Much better," Alice smiled.

"The very same," Lydia laughed, "and his fiancée Alice Fortesque is coming as well. She really is the best."

"I concur with past me," Lydia stated proudly, "Ally is the best."

"The Scamanders are coming too," Fleamont chimed in, "and Newt said he's bringing his suitcase too."

"I dread to imagine what these two will do with it," Euphemia whispers to her husband, "they both are extremely mischievous, and Newt and Tina are bringing Lyetta and Nico along as well."

"You met Newt Scamander?!" Remus shouted at his roommate, before turning to his unofficial roommate and screaming, "and you two never told me!"

"Sorry Remus," Sirius and Lydia chorused together, "we'll let you know next time."

Remus sighed. This was going to be a long reaction. He hoped that whoever requested this from Death was enjoying their entertainment.
